Six months ago I uploaded a video about two books by Angelika Bohn.

I really liked reading these books and could only say good things about them.

A few weeks ago Mrs. Bohn wrote me an email and asked if I wanted to read her new book.

I read it and today I will tell you my opinion about it.

The title of the book is "Foto ohne Namen" (Photo without a Name) and was written for the B1 and B2 levels.

The story has to do with two aspiring Journalists, who are in search of the same story.

Nico finds a box in which a ring and a photo without a name are lying.

They follow the clues in order to find out who is on the picture and why he hid the ring.

This book is exactly like a lot of other books for German learners.

At the end of each chapter there is a list of words that one might not yet know.

Words and grammar are especially chosen for the B1 and B2 readers.

The writing style, however, is not so ordinary.

In this book Angelika Bohn leaves little clues throughout the entire story

and in the end one finally sees how all of the clues fit together.

Normally, books for German learners are very boring or patronizing,

because they try to simplify everything in order to write the story for German learners,

but this book and the other books by Angelika Bohn that I have read are exciting.

Honestly, I would read these books simply for fun,

but if you want to learn German, you can learn a lot from these books.

Hey Unique idya, Today we will learn to make a Scanner for

home and office for quick and hassle free scanning.

To make a scanner at home you will need a useless cardboard box preferably with cap top.

Start by marking the box on the side to cut it open with the help of a cutter

which will later become a document feeder.

Now take a clean plain contrast paper to cover up the untidy base.

This will separate the foreground from the background while we capture the document.

Take a document and with the help of mobile try to locate the imaginary center and the

height, from where you can capture the whole document with aligned corners of the document.

Mark it on the cap top of the box

and make a hole for the mobile camera to peep.

Perfect.

Now you will need an OTG cable & a Flexible USB LED light to lighten up the document powered

by the mobile.

Fix the led light on box cap top facing the document.

Attach it to the mobile phone.

Wow! it has lightened up.

Now place a document and open your app to start scanning your documents.

We will use an emulator called "YouWave for Android " That will emulate the android apps

in a virtual Box on our computer

So lets start FIrst we need the emulator i.e You wave

for Android . We can get this emulator from youwave.com , the official site of youwave

Actually it has 2 versions a free and a paid version

The free version has android versionof kitkat and paid version is of Lollipop origin

And Also the lollipop version or the paid version is of 29 dollars the paid versions comes with 29 dollars

which is pretty expensive if you just want

to use whatsapp in your computer SO better to go with the free one

Now we gonna have to install the software into our computer

To DO that

Click on next then agree and then agaiin next and hit install

I am not doing that Becuz I Have already Installed that

So, Now lets open our emulator

And lemme tell you that here you wont have playstore in built

So ,You have to download it separately

Now lemme give you a short description of what stuffs you gonna get here

As you can see this is the Home screen

On the top-left corner of the console

You have 3 different options

In the file option by restart android you can choose the resolution of the console.

And also , you can factory reset you android by clicking here

Now this view option is all you need to know.

Here go to Apps and then double click on WhatsApp

Now the emulator will install WhatsApp in the.. In your Android automatically

Wait for a moment

And

Note during this moment during this process infact you should be connected to the internet

Now after loading

you are almost DOne untill you setup your whatsApp

Click on whatsapp and you know how to use whatsApp, probably no need of a tutorial

Bears are mammals, which means that they breathe air, they are warm-blooded, they are covered

in fur, and they feed their babies milk.

There are eight different species of bears: brown bears, polar bears,

Asian black bears, also known as the moon bear,

American black bears, sun bears, also called 'honey bears,' sloth bears, spectacled,

or Andean bears, and giant pandas.

Bears can be found in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.

They were once found in northern Africa, but they went extinct there in the 1870s.

Bears can be recognized by their large size, with short, furry bodies, thick legs, small

eyes, round ears, and short tails.

The largest bears on earth are polar bears, which can weigh up to 1600 lbs or 730 kg.

The smallest living bears are sun bears, which reach maximum weights of only 150 lbs or 68 kg.

Bears' paws are tipped with long claws, which are not retractable.

That means that bears' claws are showing all the time.

Bears are quadrupeds, meaning they walk on four legs, but they are able to stand up on

their hind legs.

Although bears may look slow, they can run at speeds of up to 35 miles or 55 kilometers per hour.

They can also usually climb, and swim, and they have a strong sense of smell and hearing.

Except for mothers with cubs, bears usually live alone.

Bears can live to be about 25 years old.

Bears that live in cold climates often hibernate, or go into a deep sleep, during the winter

when food is hard to find.

During hibernation, bears' body temperature will drop, their heart rate will slow, and

they will not wake to eat, drink, or use the bathroom.

To prepare to hibernate, bears will eat as much food as they can to gain the fat they

need to survive the winter.

During this time some brown bears will eat as much as 90 pounds or 40 kg of food per day!

A bear may lose half its body weight during hibernation, which for some types of bears

may last as long as seven months.

For the most part, bears are omnivores - meaning they eat both meat and plants.

There are two main exceptions: polar bears, which eat almost exclusively meat, and giant

pandas, which eat almost exclusively plants.

Bears will eat insects, nuts, berries, sap, honey, and roots, as well as fish, deer, and

caribou, and other mammals.

Bears will also eat carrion, or animals that have already died.

Most bears are the apex predators of the ecosystems where they live.

That means that no other animals hunt them.

As large predators, bears can be dangerous to humans.

Anywhere that bears and people live close together, there can be trouble!

In the past, bears that came too close to human settlements were killed to protect people

and livestock, as well as for their meat and thick fur.

Today bears are threatened most by loss of habitat and increased human settlement, as

forests are cut down and fields are planted for farms and cities.

Of the eight bear species in the world, every one except the brown bear and American black

bear are considered vulnerable to extinction, meaning that unless we learn how to share

our world with these large and interesting creatures, someday they may be gone for good.

Can you apply for a bridging visa?

A bridging visa is just like its name implies.

It's a bridge between visas, and nothing more.

Yet there is a massive amount of misunderstanding out there

amongst the visa-needing public about the bridging visa

being this easy visa to apply-for when you find yourself not ready yet for a proper visa.

What is a bridging visa?

A bridging visa is one thing and one thing only.

It's a way to keep a visa applicant lawfully in Australia

when they don't have a substantive visa (which means basically a "proper visa").

It stops the applicant being in migration no-mans-land and being

at risk of detention and deportation.

It is NOT an easy visa choice when you're still making your visa choice.

It's not even something you directly apply-for.

You cannot walk into the Department of Immigration and Border Protection and ask

for "One bridging visa please?"

So what is it, and how do you get one?

To get a bridging visa, you need to do the following:

1.

Lodge a valid application for a substantive visa

2.

And you need to wait for your current substantive visa to run out because the main visa

application hasn't finished being processed by the Department

So you did the right thing and lodged the visa application you had intended to lodge,

eg an onshore partner visa or an onshore tourist visa application

(so you can stay in Australia longer), and they haven't

finished processing it.

Get the idea?

And while that processing takes place, you get normally a Bridging Visa A so you can

remain in Australia and not have to leave (or risk being tossed

out unceremoniously).

And that Bridging Visa A remains until they make a decision on the substantive visa

application.

All things going well, they grant the visa that

you really wanted and the Bridging Visa A winds up automatically having done all that

it was meant to do in the first place.

So the bridging visa is not an easy alternative visa?

No, definitely not.

I've repeated this statement more times than I could ever remember over the years, and

it's an essential concept to grasp.

Visas are grants!

They are not rights!

You are not purchasing a visa, and you are not saying "I think I'll have........." before

putting your money down on the counter.

Yes, they are expensive and you could be justified in thinking you had made a

large purchase, but you've done no such thing.

You've asked the legal decision-makers who represent

the Australian Government to make a decision they are Constitutionally allowed to make.

And that means the onus is on you to do the right thing to get that visa grant.

You need to dot all the i's and cross all the t's on a proper visa application

and lodge it in plenty of time before your current visa

runs out.

Yu have to organize yourselves and allow yourselves plenty of time to get this right, and you

need to treat it as though your life depended on it.

In fact your future happiness DOES depend on it,

which means there's no time to be casual about it.

Getting distracted, or waiting until the last minute,

and most definitely underestimating how much work is involved in a SUCCESSFUL partner visa

application......all of these are bad mistakes.

Partner visas take months of work to prepare, most definitely.

Further tourist visas are much easier, however they are still visa applications and

should be given enough time to put them together properly

so your particular case is presented as well as it could possibly be presented.
