- Hey guys, Brad here with Custom Offsets.

We're doin' another episode

of

hot new suspension, I had to think about it,

I was like, oh ahh.

(buzzer)

This one's gonna be a little different,

it's for a Dodge Ram.

This is gonna be a kit for 2009 to '11

Dodge Ram 1500,

so this is a four-inch Rough Country.

(bass boosted music)

I'm just gonna give you a rundown

on the parts that come in this kit.

So, I guess like I always do, we'll start like

at the front of the vehicle in terms of

the location of the parts.

Up front to achieve the lift we got our strut spacers.

Two strut spacers up here for the front.

Got these nice, big

lift knuckles for the front as well.

You know, that's gonna help with your ball joint angles,

to keep the angles nice and spec.

We also got a front drive shaft spacer,

so you don't overextend the drive shaft.

Sway bar, new sway bar extended sway bar end links,

two of these are gonna be for the rear.

Two are for the front.

And then workin' our way back,

got a differential skid plate here,

as well as these are all brackets for

differential drop to drop the differential down.

To help keep your CV angles

as flat as possible.

So differential drops,

that's, oh, obviously

we got our, might wanna,

lower control arm drop cross members,

as you can see, standard Rough Country finish

black on them.

That's pretty much gonna be it for the front.

And then in the back, these trucks

are not leaf spring like some of the other trucks

these are actually have a coil spring in the rear.

So in the rear to lift it rather than a block

which you're used to

they use this, which will be a coil spring spacer.

So it actually moves the coil spring down

it just does the same thing as a block pretty much.

And then this one is going to be with the

upgraded shocks rather than the

standard Rough Country shocks used on the Performance 2.2's.

They look pretty much the same from the outside,

but it's what's on the inside that counts.

Right?

And then, you know obviously

got a bunch of hardware here for everything.

There's gonna be, like I said before,

this is a coil spring truck in the rear,

so no blocks or U bolts,

simply coil spring spacer for the rear,

and then the shocks are gonna be for the rear,

since we're using the factory front strut.

They give you some break relocation brackets as well.

Everything you need to lift this truck four inches.

And that's pretty much it on this one.

That's gonna be four-inch Rough Country

for 2009 to '11 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks.

the first dog breeds that we've chosen is

the bulldog, now he's a very friendly very loyal lovely dog to have around

he gets along with other pets and children very very well

number two is the beagle, his small size and loving playful personality can make him the perfect

option for people with small families, he's smart friendly and loyal and he'll get on with other pets and dogs too

option number three is the Newfoundland, now this is a breed that many would not even consider because of their very

large size, however he has been nicknamed the nature's babysitter they're gentle

kind and patient and are very very protective of children

option number four is the Irish setter, now he's known for his beautiful red

coat and he's very energetic and playful and loves playing with children but he's

also very gentle so it's nothing to worry about when you've got young children around them

now our last but not least option is number five the

golden retriever, he's a confident smart kind and loyal dog and he's very

very patient which makes him the perfect option for anyone with small children

and he's also very obedient which makes in the perfect first dog for a family

She has this inherent soulfulness,

gravitas, and a warmth that comes out in her in everything

she does.

She's so cool about it, and she's so humble.

And she really makes us rookies feel like we belong there.

One of the things that really drew me

to playing this particular character

was Lee Daniels shared with me that Jahil

is somewhat an extension of who he was as a young man.

I got a new act.

I got these three girls--

amazing singers, man.

Everybody knows him as the dashing leading man.

But I really wanted America to know him in a way

that he hadn't performed before.

What are you doing here?

I got another kid I don't know about?

Working with Ben has been so much fun.

Because he's just like a seasoned vet.

He gets it.

And he brings sensible things to the character.

The minute I heard that girl sing, it made me feel--

I'm not interested in your feelings.

I'm interested in how you can afford $10,000 watches.

It is interesting to me to take someone who's

so clearly flawed and try to find

the humanity that lies beneath.

Jahil is very complicated.

So I think he did a good job playing me.

You still running the same old game.

What?

You have not changed.

Come on, now.

I love working with Benjamin Bratt, because he is so fun.

His smile is very contagious.

And we learn from him.

So it's cool.

I mean, what's interesting to reflect upon

is that the world of "Star" feels authentic.

Had I known who you were, I would have made an effort

to spend more time with you.

I mean, you didn't think at any point

that she might have been--

Yeah, I did.

But I was--

I was too high to care.

Illuminating the corners of society

that don't often get play in contemporary television

humanizes them.

So for me to be dropped down into that world,

it's totally and completely refreshing.
