Blac Chyna's attorney revealed they are 'exploring all legal remedies' against Rob Kardashian
who could face jail after posting a naked picture of his ex on social media amid their
explosive breakup.
The 30-year-old shared several nude photographs of his on-off girlfriend on Instagram as he
accused her of cheating on him with eight men in less than a month.
But Kardashian's Instagram meltdown may have broken California's 2013 revenge porn laws
where it is considered a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Cops say they have not yet received any criminal report.
But Chyna's attorney, Walter Mosley, said he is already investigating potential legal
action.
'I am exploring all legal remedies and protections available to my client at this time in attempts
to best advise her on how she may want to proceed,' he told People.
Revenge porn is illegal in CA and it certainly appears to me that Rob has violated this criminal
law,' LA lawyer Lisa Bloom told the New York Daily News.
Bloom, who recently won a victory for her client Mischa Barton after her ex posted revenge
porn of the actress, said that even the fact that Chyna 'liked' one of the images on Instagram
does not affect her case.
Courts must prove is that he had possession of a private image of an 'intimate body part
of another identifiable person' and intentionally posted it online with the intention of causing
distress.
The distribution of the image then must lead to the victim's distress.
A text message exchange, Kardashian posted online, makes it clear that he had asked Chyna
to take and send him the intimate picture - telling her she was beautiful and he needed
it to masturbate to.
At no point did he ever mention in that exchange that he would share that picture with millions.
'Kardashian's conduct epitomizes 'revenge porn' — a jilted ex unable to handle rejection
and jealousy in a mature way who aggresses by sexually exposing another individual,'
Bloom said.
Not only could Kardashian be facing six months in jail and a $5,000 court fine, the revenge
porn also opens him up to a lawsuit from his ex.
Bloom believes that the mother-of-two could get millions if she sued for damages, if she
got a sympathetic jury.
Kardashian's Instagram page was a blocked hours after he began his rant about Chyna,
and posted the naked pictures, before he moved to Twitter.
He claims Chyna sent him the picture on July 4 before sleeping with another man.
'This is from Chyna yesterday to me.
I never been so disrespected in my life.
I just bought her 250K of jewelry yesterday.
This woman is so disrespectful and I don't care,' he wrote.
Chyna responded to the allegations on Snapchat, claiming in a now-deleted post that Rob physically
abused her.
'Rob u did all this but u beat me up and try act it never happen !!!!! U put hand on me
I swear on god !!!!! On my kids but I'm supposed to be quiet because you're a Kardashian (sic),'
she wrote in the post that has since been deleted.
She also posted of her showing off a diamond-encrusted watch and bracelets - presumably some of the
expensive jewelry Rob claimed to have purchased for her.
The couple have had a tumultuous relationship ever since they started dating in January
2016.
Within three months they announced their engagement.
The following month, the new couple dropped another bombshell: announcing that Chyna was
pregnant with Rob's child.
The couple even got their own KUWTK spin-off that fall, which showed them preparing for
baby Dream.
Dream was born on November 10, 2016 - but a little more than a month later Rob and Chyna
broke up.
Rob announced the news on Snapchat on December 17, recording several videos of his empty
house after Chyna up and left with their newborn baby girl.
The news came less than a week before the television special on Dream's birth aired.
'I'm pretty upset and I'm pretty sad cause it's about to be Christmas, and I want to
be with my baby,' Rob said in one of the videos, his voice cracking.
The couple did get back together, if only for a short period, to spend the holidays
together with their baby girl.
Rob's Instagram rant comes a day after he posted several sweet pictures of him spending
the Fourth of July with his daughter.
The snaps showed the 30-year-old smiling and playing with Dream in a pool.
