Antonio Rudiger admits "my heart beats for Arsenal" ahead of £36m transfer to Chelsea
Antonio Rudiger has risked the wrath of Chelsea fans - before his transfer has even been confirmed. Germany centre half Rudiger has agreed to join the Premier League champions who have beat off late competition from Manchester City.
Rudiger is in London to undergo a medical before completing a £36million transfer. But despite the imminent move, he has openly admitted his love for fierce rivals Arsenal, reports Football. London.
"I have been following Arsenal since the days of Henry and Bergkamp," he said.

"My heart beats for Arsenal. Rudiger will sign a five-year contract in west London, having reportedly undergone a medical while on holiday in the United States.
Chelsea remain interested in Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, while Juventus wing-back Alex Sandro and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku are also top targets for Conte this summer.
The Blues also have tentative interest in adding an attacking midfield player, with the likes of Ross Barkley and Riyad Mahrez linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.
Rudiger refused to discuss his future in the wake of his Germany side's 1-0 Confederations Cup final win over Chile on Sunday, but crucially did not rule out a move either.
"It's not about the future now, it's now about enjoyment," he said. "I need to enjoy this moment, and I'm enjoying it to the fullest. "The rest we will see in the coming weeks.
