Samosa - Is it bad for health? Tamil Health Tips

The snack item which we can see in all tea shops is Samosa.

Most of the people take samosa as evening snack.

Evening time will be special if we take tea with samosa.

In Chennai there are people who long for samosa and sundal combination.

In this video we are going to see whether samosa is healthy or not.

Samosa is made by making dough similar to chappathi dough and folded in triangular shape and stuffing masala.

There is Veg and Non-veg samosa.

Veg Samosa is made by adding boiled potato, onion ,tomato etc.,with added spices.

Non- Veg samosa with spiced meat varieties.

In India Veg samosa is quite famous.

A small samosa contains 240 calories.

The samosa which is made in some shops doesn't contain any nutritious ingredients.

There is an ingredient (Potato) which is not suitable for diabetic patients.

Samosa affects our health as it is made with maida.

The glycemic index present in maida increases the sugar level and cholesterol level.

The dangerous thing is the oil they use to fry samosa.

We are not aware which type of oil is used to fry samosa in roadside shops.

By reuse the oil again and again hydrogen mix with the food and results in formation of Trans fat.

If diabetic patients and blood pressure patients take samosa it will aggravate their problem.

If we take samosa regularly it may cause belly fat and digestion problems.

There are chances to get high blood pressure and Diabetics.

So by this we may know that samosa is dangerous than other snack items.

If you want to eat samosa make it at home in hygienic oil and healthy stuffing.

You can use Wheat flour or rice flour instead of maida.

It is best to say no to store bought samosa.

CNN Student News - July 3, 2017 | What exactly a "polar vortex" is - Duration: 10:01.

Hi. Welcome to CNN STUDENT NEWS. I`m Carl Azuz. And I`m bundled up. With much of the

U.S. feeling the effects of the polar vortex, which sounds cool to say and means something

much cooler, we`re focusing a lot of today`s show on the cold. How cold is it? Well, in

Chicago the National Weather service called it Siberia yesterday. Temperatures fell to

14 below zero. That was colder than the South Pole, in Antarctica. Minneapolis, Minnesota

warned its residents of historic and life threatening cold. With wind chills hovering

around 50 below zero, frostbite can happen in a matter of minutes. Now about that polar

vortex. It`s the circulation of winds that normally surround the North Pole. But occasionally,

those winds can get distorted, they can deep south, and when that happens ...

Brutally cold arctic air is spreading a dangerous deep freeze over half the country. The frigid

blast forcing schools and government offices to close from the deep south to the North

East.

The temperatures that we are talking about are deadly. This is a combination that is

unlike with anything we`ve seen in a long, long time.

Nearly 140 million people will experience wind chill temperatures of zero degrees or

below by Wednesday. Temperatures the country hasn`t seen in decades. In fact, Chicago,

St. Louis and Atlanta are all colder than Anchorage, Alaska.

The conditions are very bad. Roads are really slippery.

And it`s not just the plummeting temperatures. A massive snowstorm, battering the Midwest

dumped up to 16 inches of snow in St. Louis. The iconic St. Louis Arch, barely visible

under the onslaught of snow.

This is a dangerous storm. Driving conditions range from difficult to impossible.

In Illinois, the entire basketball team from Southern Illinois University got stranded

in the snow. Returning home from a game, their bus caught in the powerful winter storm. The

team was stuck on the interstate for six hours before a tow truck was able to dig them out.

But there is relief in sight. The subzero temperatures and snow will virtually be gone

by Wednesday.

See, if you can I.D. me. I`m a type of flu virus that spread worldwide in 2009. My symptoms

are like those of a typical flu. But I used to be known as swine flu. Because I`m like

a virus that circulates in pigs. I`m H1N1 and I`m the most common strand of flu that

Americans are catching this year.

Of course, we don`t catch it from pigs. We catch it from other people. And with flu season

in full swing, millions of Americans are coughing, running fevers, getting chills and body aches.

And unfortunately, passing it around.

Just over the past week, the number of states reporting widespread flu activity jumped from

ten states to 25. Widespread means large chunks of states are reporting flu cases. The most

common strain, H1N1 virus is affecting a lot of young people, particularly in the south.

With proper care, it`s not usually life threatening, but it`s sure not fun. So, how can you avoid

it? Doctors say, the flu vaccine is a good start. It takes about two weeks before it`s

effective, though. Another way to protect yourself, wash your hands. You`ve been exposed

- wash your hands. Ready to eat - wash your hands. It makes the virus less likely to hit

your body.

We always enjoy taking a moment to recognize some of the schools recognizing us. It`s time

for the CNN STUDENT NEWS "Roll Call." We`re going to start out west with the Natrona County

High School Mustangs. They are online in Caspar, Wyoming. North Stafford High, you`re on our

roll. The Wolverines are watching in Stafford, Virginia. And leaving a legacy in Orlando,

Florida, we`re taking off with the jets from legacy middle school. Our friends in Minnesota

know about the St. Paul winter carnival, called the coolest celebration on earth. They`ve

got some competition in northern China, and like the American event, you can`t mind the

cold. This celebrates it. If highs in the single digits don`t` keep you locked inside,

the reward is carved artwork of snow and ice. Multicolored lights accent the frigid architecture

and as you might guess, it attracts tourists from all over the world, who hopefully remember

their coats. China, actually, offers travel packages focused on this event. But you might

be wondering how all off this comes together.

If you think you`re pretty handy building a snowman, you might want to get yourself

to northeast China where most builders one of the coolest shows on earth, the Annual

Harbin Ice Festival. Thousands of workers have been hacking blocks of ice out of the

river to carve giant sculptures and make fairy tale palaces and castles. One of the main

attractions this year, a replica church set to tower 150 feet high. All of ice are illuminated

with computer controlled displays. Of course, if you are coming, don`t forget your thermal

underwear. Organizers say you could catch frostbite.

And that`s with minimal trouble getting around in the snow. What do you do if you`re in a

wheelchair? There are all terrain tires available that can give more grip, some are wider, some

are nubby. But what about the smaller front wheels? What can be done to help those glide

over the snow? Especially for those who live in snow all winter long?

Can I just hold that for you?

Sam and Tracy Tabaka have never allowed their wheelchairs to hold them back.

We both enjoy marathons and triathlons and all sorts of fun outdoor stuff.

But ever winter .the everyday becomes a challenge.

Do you see how much slower this is?

Front wheels have a tendency to sink in the snow making moving or even staying in the

chair difficult.

There is a lot of tipping yourself back and kind of trying to jump over piles of snow.

I`ve taken many spills.

Now, a new product has all but eliminated the seasonal obstacle. The Tabakas are the

first Minnesotans to try out wheel blades.

Oh, it`s a huge difference, just for comfort and for feeling secure.

Essentially, small skis for the front wheels, the blades glide over snow and ice.

We spent over many months out of the year with snow in Minnesota and I mean this is

a huge thing.

The biggest impact is in the daily routine. Small tasks that once took time and energy

have never been easier.

It definitely allows me to be more independent.

A twist on cold weather culture that`s now moving winter mobility forward.

It`s definitely changed, you know, my outlook on what I can do in the winter on my own.

Good stuff there. We`re going to come in from the cold for a moment for a bit of spoken

world. It`s a kind of performance art. Can`t be poetry, can`t be monologue and it can`t

help a group of young people do everything from find their voices to cope with the troubles

they face every day.

Repeat! Repeat! Repeat!

Expressing themselves through poetry, finding like-minded youth with a passion for verse.

Family.

One of most beautiful things that I`ve ever been a part of.

Safety. It means growth. It means lights.

Cofounded nearly five years ago by then 16-year old poet Natalie Cook, Atlanta Word Works

is a nonprofit, empowering teen and young adults through poetry. Members say it allows

them to be among their peers, unlike most groups, which are led by adults.

Here`s this organization that is kind of for kids, by kids, with kids, the whole step of

the way.

The thoughts first go on paper that expressed in spoken word.

Each student that comes to work with this organization, they find and develop their

voice.

Students like Ivan who`s struggling with the likely deportation of his family, undocumented

immigrants to Mexico. He`s now ready to face the possibility of leaving the only country

he`s ever known.

And this is not just my story, this is a story of millions of people all around the United

States right now. They are scared, and I`m scared.

And poetry is how Ivan expresses his fears.

It is said that when a child is born into (INAUDIBLE) he has to be quick to adept and

survive.

I chose this over actual therapy, because I feel as though this heals me a lot more

than anything else could heal me.

And Ivan is not alone. Many in the group are dealing with the kind of issues most young

people face: peer pressure of divorce in their families.

It`s a physical process, as well as an emotional and mental process.

Free to share and free to inspire.

Historians have become like janitors ...

(inaudible)

Rinsing revolutions.

And washing away America`s history.

Nick Valencia, CNN, Atlanta.

Back once more to Minnesota. Where it feels like anything but a balmy beach. So, a trio

of brothers brought the beach to their home with a sculpted snow shark. That`s one way

to illustrate biting cold.

It took them about 95 hours to build it. It sits about ten feet high, and it`s only natural

predator is the sun. The brothers started doing this a few years ago with a puffer fish,

so you could say when it comes to sea creature sculptures, they are pretty big fins.

Of course, the neighbors might complain if they are not in the swim, but given the recent

plunge of temperatures there, a giant ice sculpture is hardly sharking. As long as those

who made it are able to withstand the wind gill. I`m Carl Azuz, and more CNN STUDENT

NEWS are swimming your way tomorrow.

Victoria Azarenka Is Back, With a Baby Boy and Her Sights Set on Wimbledon - Duration: 6:38.

Victoria Azarenka Is Back, With a Baby Boy and Her Sights Set on Wimbledon

Call it a comeback: After taking much of last year off—she gave birth to a son in December—former world number one Victoria Azarenka, 27, marks her Grand Slam return with an opening match at Wimbledon against American CiCi Bellis on Monday.

We chatted with Vika to find out more about her return, her time away from the game (including a new trick now up her sleeve)—and her fear of sharks.

First off: Congratulations! How's your son? What's his name?. His name is Leo Alexander—I'm Belarusian, and my boyfriend is American, so we gave him a double name that reflects both sides of his heritage.

He's 6 months old, and he's doing great—it's an amazing experience that's really hard to describe with words. But right about now, he just wants to get up—he doesn't want to lay down, he wants to get moving.

He's very active, and I think pretty soon, we'll be running after him—good training for me, I think.

Much was made about Serena Williams winning the Australian Open when she was pregnant. How long into your pregnancy did you play, and did that affect your game?.

Well, I was pregnant when I won Miami [in April], but from what I've heard you can't really compare one person's pregnancy with another. Everyone has their own experience.

Serena's a friend of yours; she came to visit you at your home in California after you gave birth, yes? Did she drop any hints about her own pregnancy?.

She wanted to meet Leo and we just hadn't seen each other in a while, so she came to visit.

She was asking lots of questions about it, and I knew she wanted to have a kid at some point in her life. But it's a very personal thing—I guess she just didn't want to share the news at that stage.

Was it always your plan to come back to playing?.

It was always my wish—I always wanted to continue to do what I love doing, continue my career—I'm still young! But I wanted to wait until Leo was born and see how I was doing mentally and physically and take it from there.

This is almost an academic question, but what's the motivation to come back? You've achieved the sort of career pinnacles that most players can only dream of: world number one, Grand Slam champion multiple times over.

I feel that the time for me to stop playing is when I know I can't get better; I can't reach a higher potential; I've done everything I've wanted to do. And that's just not the case.

I've got so much room to improve, and I've been working on it, and I want to continue working on it. And I love the game of tennis—I've loved it since I was a kid—and now there's a bigger purpose to it.

I want to set a good example for my son: that if you have dreams and goals and you love what you do, you can shoot for the stars—but you have to work hard for it.

And I want to be an example not only for my kid, but hopefully an inspiration for women around the world—to show them that they can take their time to have a family and then continue to have a career, to work.

Without giving up your game plan, are there specific things you're working on in terms of changing your game?.

I always want to improve everything—but one thing in particular that I worked on is the motion on my serve. That took a lot of time and patience and execution. I pretty much rebuilt my whole serve. Why come back at Wimbledon?.

Well, one of my best friends—she was with me when I found out I was pregnant—just gave birth a couple months ago, and she lives in London.

So we need to have our babies meet each other, and I thought it would be cool to do that—walk our babies in the park and that kind of thing.

It'll be a very different experience from the way I used to experience London and Wimbledon. You're good friends with Laird Hamilton and his wife Gabrielle Reece. Does he get you out into the big waves?.

I did a little bit of pool training with Laird in Hawaii, but the ocean stuff, I don't mess with—I'm a city girl, and I'm not that adventurous. Actually, I'm a little scared of the ocean.

It's too powerful for me. I love the idea of the ocean, and I love the smell of the ocean and the feel of it all—I just don't go too far into it.

There are too many creatures there, and I don't know how to speak to them. Are you talking about a fear of sharks? Because that's pretty common.

I just don't know how I'd react—I mean, I tried to hit a turtle once because I thought it was a shark! I'm not very proud of that moment—I didn't try to kill it; I was just scared! And when I asked Laird what I should do if I did see a shark, Laird just told me to stare at it.

And I was like, Okay, thanks Laird. What's the big prize in your comeback, the dream—to win another Grand Slam? To be number one again?.

The goal is always to win Grand Slams. Once you do that, the rankings take care of themselves. Is that goal easier without Serena in the mix?. I don't think of it that way. I prefer when she's playing.

To be the best, you have to beat the best players in the world. When I first heard she was pregnant, I was sad, because I thought maybe I'd never play her again.

But then I heard she's going to—hopefully—come back. I hope we're going to compete against each other for a long time.

F*ck Ibiza, Sex Outside A London Pub Is Where It's At Now - sasha grey - Duration: 2:36.

F*ck Ibiza, Sex Outside A London Pub Is Where It's At Now

Holy moly! I'm down for some danger-sex but this takes the bloody biscuit!. This series of short clips come from London, England (why do they always seem to be from the United Kingdom?).

It's a late spring evening, the drinks have obviously been flowing, the fish and chips were on special, and these two horny young things are locked in a passionate embrace.

But this isn't your normal drunken snog-n-grope: the bloke is giving her a good ole finger bashing, right there on the pavement for all to see!.

The dude gets his belt undone and continues to jab away with vigour while a female onlooker declares "Oh my God, this is amazing!".

One quick-witted spectator decides to film the encounter for the prosperity of all mankind. The video cuts to the sheila going down on the fella, giving him a nosh in front of this small, stunned crowd.

The female onlooker continues with her running commentary, stating that "She's sucking his co*k! She's actually sucking his co*k!" before running in front of the camera and giving her double-thumbs-up seal of approval.

It hardly seems possible but this scene takes an even more surreal turn when a goddamn accordion player turns up and begins to drop a romantic sounding tune.

It's fair to say he's just as distracted as everyone by the scene that these two drunken lovers are making, though.

The last shot shows the pair actually getting their fu*k on! It's a fairly weird looking position that they've opted for: the lass is standing up while the guy bends his knees around her and she does the thrusting but, thinking about it, why the hell would this pair opt for a normal boning position? It's clearly just not their style….

I just wish someone dropped some David Attenborough narration like that legend did when he saw another horny couple shagging behind that wall the other day!.
