We live in a time

Where information is more easily and freely available than any time before?

It is just that there is so much of this information

That there is a danger of information overload

Where the amount of information exceeds our cognitive processing capacity?

All decision makers including you have a limited cognitive processing capacity

consequently when information overload occurs

There is a great difficulty understanding

This difficulty of understanding is not based on the lack of information

But based on the sole fact that there is too much information on that issue

Despite this fact other educational institutions are still focusing mostly on

regulation of information, but access to too much information

It doesn't help people develop the desired and needed skills unless they also learn something much more important

how to discriminate good sources of information

from bad sources
