In 1993 she interviewed Michael Jackson, which became the fourth most-watched event in American
television history as well as the most watched interview ever, with an audience of 36.5 million.
By 2008, the show was aired in 140 countries and seen by an estimated 46 million people
in the US weekly.
The series finale of the show aired on May 25, 2011.
Winfrey has graced the silver screen as well, making appearances in notable films such as

CNN ranked Winfrey as "arguably the world's most powerful woman in the world."
In 2010, Life magazine named Winfrey one of the 100 people who changed the world, alongside
Jesus Christ and Elvis Presley.
She is the only living member on the list.

She lives on a 42-acre estate called "The Promised Land" complete with ocean and mountain
views in Montecito, California.
She also owns a home in Lavallette, New Jersey, a Chicago apartment, and an estate on Fisher
Island, Florida, oh, and a ski house in Telluride, Colorado, a property on Maui, Hawaii, and
Antigua.
