Waching daily Apr 8 2017

It's been a long day, and I'm trying to figure it out

Since those words, left your mouth

I feel broken, shattered and blue

And it's all because of you

And I'm trying, trying to figure it out

If this is love, love

Why does it break me down?

Why do you break me down?

If this is love, love

Why do you break me down?

Why do you break me down?

ohhh

It's been a time since I feel the way that I do now

Like I need you

and I don't know how

And it's been a while

Since I smiled with all my heart

But the idea of leaving this behind

is tearing me apart

If this is love, love

Why does it break me down?

Why does it break me down?

If this is love, love

Why does it break me down?

why do you break me down?

Kiss me and remind me why

I've ever wanted

to make you mine

Even though it hurts in this moment

I've always known it

You're the other half of my broken heart.

If this is love, love

Why does it break me down?

Why does it break me down?

If this is love, love

Why does it break me down?

why do you break me down?

Even though it hurts in this moment

I've always known it

I've always known it

You're the other half of my

broken

heart

What is dielectric grease and why should I use it? - Duration: 5:30.

[Nature sounds]

[Music]

Hey, I wonder if Harley knows his brake light is out.

That could cause a real problem.

[Door slam]

M: Hey Harley.

H: Yeah.

M: Did you know your brake light's out?

H: No, I didn't know that.

There's a car store right around the corner. Why don't we go get some parts.

Yeah, it's a really easy fix. I'll show you how.

Awesome. Sounds great!

[Buying parts]

Today at the House of Hacks, we're going to talk about replacing light bulbs

and using dielectric grease.

[Music]

Hi Makers, Builders and Do-it-yourselfers.

Harley here.

This is Mike from Tomahawk DIY and we're going to be talking about two things.

One on his channel about how to replace a brake light and on my channel this videos

going to be about what dielectric grease is and why you should use be using it.

In Mike's video, we put some dielectric grease in the fitting before putting in the new bulb.

In this video, I want to talk about what dielectric grease is and why we used it.

While shooting the bulb changing video, we ran into a problem that is a great example

of why dielectric grease really should be used.

We'd taken the old bulb out, put the new one in and put the socket back in the tail light

assembly.

When we tested it, it didn't work.

After some checking, I found corrosion on the socket connectors.

Dielectric grease helps inhibit this type of corrosion.

If these had grease put on them at the factory, they wouldn't have corroded this way.

So what is dielectric grease?

It's a silicone based grease that is non-curing and non-conductive.

Coming out of the tube, it has a, well, greasy type consistency, and being non-hardening,

it maintains this consistency.

It stays this way and doesn't get hard or setup.

Here I have the multi-meter here setup to measure resistance.

When I put a drop on the probes, we can see it is non-conductive until I press the probes

together and they make metal-to-metal contact.

Bare metal will have a chemical reaction to the oxygen in the air, called oxidation or

corrosion.

Oxidation is less conductive than the metal, causing the flow of electricity to be reduced.

If there's not much oxidation, the reduction isn't enough to cause a problem.

However, in the harsh, sometimes wet, environment of a car, oxidation can build up over time

to be a problem.

At best, it will decrease voltage causing lights to dim and other devices not to work

properly.

In extreme cases, it can cause increased heat as the current attempts to break through and

cause plastic to melt, shorts and sparks and, in the worse case, a fire.

Dielectric grease does a couple things to help combat these problems.

First, it's an insulator and helps prevent arcing between air gapped metal.

In high-voltage situations, this can help reduce voltage leakage, like in the engine's

ignition system.

But in the low voltage situation of lighting, this isn't it's primary benefit.

In normal use, any place there's air gapped terminals, the air is sufficient insulation.

It's primary benefit comes as a non-hardening sealant.

When it's liberally applied to an electrical connection, it coats the metal and surrounds

the terminals.

But being squishy, it is pressed out of the way on the metal-to-metal contact points.

This creates a sealed electrical connection that prevents both air and water from getting

to the metal.

Keeping the water out of the connector helps eliminate short circuits and keeping the air

out limits corrosion from happening.

It also helps the plastic and rubber parts of the connectors.

The oils in the grease help minimize gassing off of the plastic's oils.

This in turn helps prevent the plastic from getting brittle.

It also lubricates rubber fittings to let them seal better but not fuse.

All these things combined make the connector easier to take apart next time the bulb needs

to be replaced.

I've seen some more expensive cars with dielectric grease on fittings from the factory.

And I've heard of people who will go through their vehicle when they first get it and put

grease on all the connectors.

Usually these are people who put their vehicles in unusually harsh circumstances, particularly

off-road or marine environments.

Personally, I use it whenever I replace something, but I don't go out of my way to take things

apart specifically to add grease to them.

But given this most recent situation, I may rethink that.

If this is your first time here at House of Hacks: Welcome, I'm glad you're here and would

love to have you subscribe.

A MAN COMMUNICATING WITH AN EXTRATERRESTRIAL FROM MARS – TAKEN SERIOUSLY BY THE BBC, LIVE IN 1954 - Duration: 9:14.

A MAN COMMUNICATING WITH AN EXTRATERRESTRIAL FROM MARS TAKEN SERIOUSLY BY THE BBC,

LIVE IN 1954

Its 2017, and weve had some shocking testimony given to us from high ranking military

personnel, politicians, and more.

For example, Colonel Ross Dedrickson, a high ranking officer in the Air Force who held

special positions at various points in his career dealing with nuclear weapons, the atomic

energy commission, and nuclear weapons storage facilities.

He passed on in 2007.

A long service with the Energy Commission between 1950-1958 included, contract administration

duties at Nevada test sites, Pacific Nuclear Test Area west of Hawaii, nuclear weapon manufacturing

and quality assurance in Albuquerque, and inspection of nuclear and non-nuclear facilities

throughout the country.

Prior to his passing, he provided video testimony revealing that extraterrestrials have been

around for a long time, and that they do not approve of our nuclear activities.

He also revealed that extraterrestrials have shut down nuclear weapons in flight as well

as our attempts to detonate and experiment with them, and hes not the only one to

do so.

This is a deep subject, and its important to provide some information that shows that

many high level insiders have, time and time again, testified to the reality of intelligent

extraterrestrial visitation.

Many strange declassified documents deal with the subject as well.

Communication With Extraterrestrials

It was only a few weeks ago that Elon Musk said there most definitely are super intelligent

extraterrestrials out there, and hes not alone in this belief, as this is the general

scientific consensus.

He also said that if they do exist, theyre probably already observing us and that

were just not smart enough to realize it.

The question has now shifted from Are we alone? to Are they visiting us now?

Opinions vary widely, but the evidence for their presence is impressive.

why we (and many others) feel this way, as the implications of this realization are huge

and open up endless philosophical questions.

The UFO/extraterrestrial field is ripe with stories and accounts of both physical and

telepathic human contact.

The example is of George King, an ordinary citizen who was contacted by an extraterrestrial

intelligence in 1954, known to him as Aetherius, whom he said was a highly evolved extraterrestrial

from Mars, and part of an alliance of several intelligences from other planets.

Now, if you think this is impossible given what we know about those planets, well, it

turns out we dont know as much as we thought we did.

For example, Mars is not the dry arid planet we once thought it to be.

NASA scientists recently held a press conference revealing some astonishing facts about extraterrestrial

life on Mars.

we published an article about three NASA scientist discussing extraterrestrial life on Mars,

hinting that some strange things are going on there right now.

another one that goes into detail about extraterrestrial life on or around the rings of Saturn.

he is describing his initial contact experience, where both telepathic and physical face-to-face

communication occurred.

The 1954 Interview, and the Message Being Transmuted

The interview aired shortly after the contact experience, and it was taken seriously by

the BBC as well many of its viewers.

To think that this person gained national attention so soon after his contact experience

is amazing, but we do know that military and intelligence agencies did and do keep tabs

on people who supposedly have contact with intelligent extraterrestrials.

They have even tried to acquire knowledge from experts in this area.

For example, here is an intelligence agency document, dated just a few years before this

interview (1950), inquiring about a letter written by someone with several university

degrees and a former university department head and addressed to certain scientists

of distinction, to aeronautical and military authorities, and to a number

of public officials. On pages 21 and 22, it describes the craft they use, their biological

makeup, and more.

Keep in mind the document could be discussing one extraterrestrial group out of several

that have probably been catalogued by our government.

Its long past the time to take these people seriously and hear what they have to say,

The synchronicity evident between the millions of contact testimony alone makes this subject

worth paying attention to.

Also, please keep in mind that this interview was taken during one of the biggest UFO waves

in history.

After we dropped the A-bomb, they were everywhere, so much so that President Truman made an appearance

on live television saying that they discuss this topic at every conference that theyve

had with the military, that there are are always things like that going on, flying

saucers and theyve had other things.

Before the massive wave of secrecy hit this subject in the late 195os, it was a popular

and common topic of conversation.

So what is going to happen now?

Further information disclosure, or a continued campaign of secrecy?

They stress the dangers of atomic experimentation, and also turn back to what they call the laws

which are God if we are to survive on this Earth.

[They refer to] the laws as laid down by Jesus, and Buddha, Krishna, and other great teachers

who came to the Earth to lead us throughout the ages.

Its interesting that he mentions atomic experimentation.

This interview was conducted in 1952, and the similarities for our own time are striking,

considering all the information about nuclear energy/weapons currently arising with the

extraterrestrial topic.

In the interview he goes on to describe physical contact experiences his mother had, as well

as how the extraterrestrials shared more information about their concerns with how we treat our

environment.

They also hint at forthcoming disasters that could occur if we do not change our ways.

On the show, he also received some information from extraterrestrial intelligence.

Is this a real transmission thats being beamed out to the world via live television?

We have indeed been visiting this Earth of yours for some 18 million of your Earth

years.

At the moment, Earth, as you call it, faces a certain situation.

This situation can be described as rather a dangerous one.

You are liable to upset the balance of your Earth through, number one, atomic experimentation,

and number two, your deviation from the spiritual laws.

He claims, as many others do today, that the reasons for their visitation are directly

related to the claims above.

The vehicles that you call flying saucers are quite physical.

The Common Spiritual Theme of Extraterrestrial Contact

Whenever we discuss this topic, and move on from asking whether they are here to why they

are here, we will always end up with labels of gods, demons, angels, and more.

Human beings love to categorize and judge things they do not understand, but if we take

a step back and look at the evidence objectively, well see that the most common theme in

contact stories is care for our planet, as well as a spiritual understanding of ourselves

and the nature of the universe.

This becomes even more acceptable to those of us who research quantum physics and neuroscience,

as many aspects of these subjects are catching up to ancient Eastern spiritual philosophies.

Its quite interesting, to say the least.

This is why, for me personally, I take great interest in the spiritual nature of things,

and, when it comes to extraterrestrial contact, there is no better place to realize the spiritual

connection from a mainstream perspective than by studying the beliefs of indigenous cultures.

See his video interview.
