Waching daily Apr 7 2017

- Hey, hey! This is Conor, the Language Tsar, and in this video I'm gonna

give you my five tips for how to beat

jet lag.

So what is jet lag exactly?

It is basically fatigue from flying and changing time zones.

It's basically a temporary disruption of the body's internal clock.

So travelers who tend to have a really rigid schedule suffer from the most

from jet lag and that's because

the body clock is telling to do things at certain times of the day

and if you're travelling to another part of the world

that's not really possible anymore, so the body is kind of thrown

and you can suffer from insomnia and

the others more serious side effects.

So my tip number one is

to be fully rested before you go traveling!

That might surprise a few people, because those people may think "well,

if I stay upon night try to mimic the ... the time zone

maybe that can work but if you're really

tired before the flight then that's really gonna hit you a little bit more

in terms of let lag and fatigue when you arrive

because you're already tired, it means to be as rested as possible.

Not might even include sleeping on the flight

I always take twenty minute power naps

at least once a day so that tends to then give me a boost.

And I encourage you also to do that if you're flying you know

make sure that you rest as much as possible.

Now if you can and it's not too expensive, of course everybody

looks at the budget when they book flights,

try to arrive during daylight hours as opposed to night hours.

So recently when I was in Brazil, I did that. I traveled from East to West

from Europe to Brazil and arriving daylight hours definitely helped

me adjust very quickly because I can just stayed up,

slept a little bit, maybe ....maybe a little bit during the day

but then I went to bed kind of a normal time that I would

by that evening.

Now tip number three is

to keep yourself really hydrated. I mean

drinking water.

That doesn't mean taking a full advantage of the trolley

or the alcohol available on the flight

because that will dehydrate you

and it won't help you with jet lag at all

if you drink alcohol.

So tip number four is to

do lots of exercise.

When you're flying ... not sit in the chair, especially if it's a long flight, during the whole time of the entire time.

It's good to get up, stretch your legs

and ... stretching is great

and to move around a bit and get that circulation going in your body and that

will help a lot

when you arrive. You're not gonna be as

exhausted as a result as long as you keep yourself moving.

If you are not sleeping, of course, if you are sleeping then you sleep.

But if you are there and you're awake then definitely move around

a little bit and stretch.

Now the fifth and final tip is now a little bit

absolute because what I would have said in the past is

that you should set your watch, change the time

so that you're on the time of your destination.

But to be honest this thing here is basically just a piece of jewellery, an ornament now

and I don't actually look at it.

Change the time on your laptop or on your smartphone

And if you're still using watch time change it there

but ... that's important because then you get, you can synchronized or you think ok

you may have left say New York and it's

midday but you're going to ... I don't know ... Paris in France

and maybe it's ... it's six hours difference, so it's

probably ... yes ... 6 pm there

and if you're already think it's 6 pm you're thinking

"oh, now I should probably start thinking of sleeping", maybe

if it's midnight cos you're into your flight

You're synchronized with your destination's time

so when you arrive, you think "ok, I've slept from midnight to 8 am "

and now we wake ... now I wake up and I'm at my destination

Say you did a really long flight,

like say from New York to Bangkok in Thailand

so you're already arrived, you think "yeah, it's morning now

I do my full day'. So to avoid it just psychologically

as well as physically.

to your new destination.

We are gonna from this airport in Sao Paulo

I will stop in Casablanca for just in few hours

and then go on to Paris in France

So I've arrived in Paris. That was ... the trip took about 13-14 hours

they get first from Sao Paulo to Casablanca in Morocco

and then on to Paris here in France.

And Royal Emirates thank you very much

you didn't transfer for my bags so I am wearing shorts

and a T-shirt

in European winter.

It's ... I am pretty cold.

So as you can see about this .. .I don't know if this

is jet lag sitting in but definitely the

temperature is starting to hit me.

So it's been about a week or maybe ten days since I came back from Brazil

And I have to say I didn't suffer from jet lag

at all. I had crossed those 4 time zones from Sao Paulo

to Paris, actually I went to Sofia in Bulgaria that was another time zone

then another two time zones to Dubai

in the United Arab Emirates and I came back again here to Romania

I am in Bucharest at that moment.

Behind me you can see the Palace of the Parliament -

very impressive building.

I have to say that

with all this moving back and forth I wasn't like I moved

you know, ten time zones or something that crazy,

but even with seven I didn't really suffer at all.

I think that main reason is because I don't

actually have the same regime every day.

It's not like I wake up ... you know ... five days a week

at 7 am and take a bus, go to work...you know I have ...

then come back home like a lot of people do

if they have standardized working hours and then it can be really difficult

for them to adjust if they travel long distances.

But for me basically I can

work whenever I wake up until

I go to sleep

so that's pretty adaptable. And that's actually a big

another big advantage of being a digital nomad.

It's not just location independence

It's also sleep independence I guess or

sleep cycle independence which is that you can basically

do that as you feel most comfortable with.

And also I'd like to take power naps. I like to sleep

maybe for 6 to 7 hours

in one go and then take a twenty-minute power nap sometime during the day

and that also helps a lot with dealing with jet lag.

So write me in a comments section below

down below the video whether you're watching this on Youtube or Facebook.

And let me know how you've dealt with jet lag,

and travelling and tiredness and fatigue.

What strategies? Do you agree with the information I've given

in this video? Or do you have your own

tips and theories? Or you disagree

or whatever, stuff you can write here below .

Unnies prepare for their stage concept (feat. Um Jungwha) [Sister's Slam Dunk Season2 / 2017.04.07] - Duration: 10:14.

You have homework.

We'll have a style and concept meeting next week.

I'd like you all to come up

with a concept that suits the song.

Think about it individually.

(Their homework is to decide their look for the song)

(Stage wardrobe, hair and makeup)

Wardrobe and makeup.

That's how girl groups stand out.

(What look do the members...)

(Have in mind?)

(A few days later)

(A cafe where spring is in bloom)

(Jinkyung relaxes with some warm sunlight)

I have a friend who is

the muse of girl groups.

I'm going to visit her tomorrow.

Is she related to this at all?

Sure.

- She's the best. / - Who is it?

Uhm.

(You'll see)

(This celebrity of 24 years waits like a schoolgirl fan)

Here she is.

(So excited)

Junghwa!

(Uhm Junghwa, the muse of girl groups)

(The greatest sexy diva of this era!)

(Her hair, makeup and wardrobe are so creative)

(Her performances are so extravagant!)

(She transcends time and genres)

(What look will she recommend for the stage?)

- Hi, Junghwa. / - Hello.

You look great.

♪ I don't know, I can't tell ♪

Gosh! I haven't seen these in forever.

Goodness, they don't even fit over my ears.

I haven't seen you wearing that in forever.

Me too.

(This was 18 years ago and she hasn't aged)

I couldn't hear anything wearing these,

even if someone was calling out to me.

They were so tight on my ears.

(This brings up memories)

Thank you for taking time to see me.

Yeah, it's good we can meet like this at least.

Junghwa, our song is out.

- It's out? / - Yeah.

And we need to come up with outfits, props...

A concept that suits the song.

Oh, a concept.

You're the muse of all Korean girl groups

and a living legend in K-pop.

So for today...

We're all working really hard on this.

The song is great too.

- I want to hear. / - And I'd like your help.

- Yeah? / - Try listening to this.

This is nice.

They really worked hard on it.

- I love the song. / - Right?

- It's great. / - And just like the lyrics...

I go wild on stage.

Sook and I

are like circus performers.

This is what we do together.

Sook does this and I do this right under her.

- We go wild. / - Really?

It's part of the choreography.

They put me in the front.

The used my Paris dance a bit.

(It starts with Jinkyung's squid dance!)

(The difficult domino dance)

There needs to be a lot of hot colors.

Pink and blue...

And I mean hot pink.

Colors that really pop.

You're the best, Junghwa.

(How will the Unnies look in vivid colors?)

Don't I look like a government official now?

Like someone taking the census

from the district office.

Wear a wig.

- I like to wear wigs on stage. / - Yeah.

What kind of wig should I wear?

Wear a wig at first before you

change anything else.

You can have all sorts of sparkly things inside.

I should pull it off during my dance?

It's kind of...

That's a lot to take off.

For the "go wild" part.

(We have no idea what she's imagining!)

This song is great.

I think it has a great message too.

- Yeah. / - The song's message.

I feel like this could be a song

that encourages people that are

feeling down and lost.

So the ending really has to pump people up.

Your faces should be radiant.

This sounds like fun.

Thank you, Junghwa!

- I'm going to my shoot now. / - Okay. Junghwa.

It starts like this.

It starts with the Paris dance.

For us,

Five reasons to use iClone and Hitfilm - Duration: 7:18.

Hi I am Adolf Navarro.

Welcome back to my little studio.

This time I would like to show you five reasons

of why iClone and Hitfilm are

complementary applications that can be

combined to create amazing videos

of professional quality. In one hand iClone is

a powerful 3d animation software

that stands out being affordable very intuitive

and user-friendly. It has a

surprisingly very short learning curve and

it really boosts the performance of any

animation process, allowing us to

achieve spectacular results without

the need of expensive and complicated resources.

On the other hand, Hitfilm is a very powerful visual effects

and editing application that is also much

easier to master than any other similar

software in the market. Although it allows

professional results, their creators have

put special attention to help and encourage

indie filmmakers, so anybody can include

incredible visual effects on their projects.

If both applications are amazing standing alone,

when working together

they multiply their advantages... Let's see how...

Filmmakers often need to include

expensive stuff in their productions

maybe you're going to need a helicopter

or an exotic building

or even a spaceship... In this cases 3d models are

very useful as they can be mixed with

the real footage, helping us to create the

adequate environment.

Through 3DXchange, iClone can import and prepare a huge

amount of 3d props available on the

internet. For example, all the free

Sketchup models of 3d warehouse can be

imported directly into iClone, where we can

easily change their materials getting a

nice realistic aspect in a matter of

minutes. We can also use the intuitive tools

of iClone to animate the models,

preparing them for the compositing

process on Hitfilm. iClone goes even futher

offering a lot of interesting features

like the PBR materials that provide an

extremely realistic aspect to standard

props. The physics engine that allows the

rigid models to interact between them in

a very natural way, or the soft cloth

physics that adds extra realism to the

scenes simulating the movements of the

clothes while interacting with the wind,

the rigid props, or the characters.

We can even add trees, bushes and grass that

can be animated as well by the wind.

iClone is also a powerful tool to use and

animate special characters that can be

needed in our Hitfilm shots.

From Character creator, we can export the actors to

iClone, where they can be easily animated

using it's very intuitive tools.

The animated models can be exported to Hitfilm

in Alembic format, allowing us to put

them in a real 3d environment using the

lights, effects and cameras of Hitfilm to

set the scene before to render the final

sequence. We can also use the real

footage in iClone as background. It helps

to place the characters and props and

adjust the current light and camera view.

Then, the render obtained from iClone,

can be used as a compositing layer in

Hitfilm needing very few adjustments.

Hitfilm allows us to create a huge variety

of visual effects... So we can easily

enhance our shots adapting them to the

needs of our scripts. In this way we can

do the same with iClone renders.

Our sequences will look much more realistic

using the particle and camera effects

generated by Hitfilm, in addition to the

ones generated by iClone.

Also, the atmospheric and light effects provided

by Hitfilm, add a special touch to our

scenes making them much more attractive

and spectacular.

Using Hitfilm, we can create high-quality compositing

sequences combining real footage and

iClone renders. The 3d animated models can

be placed over the real footage on

iClone adjusting the lights and the

camera view. After hiding the background,

we can render the scene as a PNG

sequence that can be placed in a

Hitfilm layer and modified to obtain

very convincing results.

We can render our iClone scenes in different layers

too, that properly mixed with the visual

effects layers created on Hitfilm, allow

us to obtain a very sophisticated

sequences.

But there's even more, Hitfilm also can provide interesting effects

altering the color and the light

conditions on the scenes created with iClone.

Using color grading we can get different

cinematic looks in our shots,

simulating film standards or adding

artistic ambient effects to our iClone

productions... For example, all these

sequences that you're watching right now,

are regular iClone renders, just filtered on Hitfilm

without adding further visual effects.

In this way we can give a personal touch

to our productions, making them

exclusive and original.

And this is it. As you have seen, iClone and Hitfilm are

complementary applications that allow you

to create amazing productions in a very

easy way. Thanks for watching... Until my

next video... Bye.

NEW YouTube Video Policy - No Money For Small YouTubers? - Duration: 2:31.

What is up, guys? This is XYRiD and this

is the second video that I am posting

today. YouTube has just made some major

changes to their partner program. The

YouTube Partner Program allowed people to

monetize the videos. Basically, the entire

platform started to die after major

brands like coca-cola started pulling

the ads out of YouTube, after Wall Street

Journal mentioned that some highest-paid...

some premium ads were running on a

racist video.... and.. on a few resist videos

on YouTube. "Recently there was a huge

controversy on YouTube, I think that was

sparked by the PewDiePie outrage where

brands thought their videos were running

on racist anti-semitic hate speech and

they all started freaking out because

they thought 'hey this doesn't represent

my brand' and they all started pulling

en masse from YouTube and YouTube has lost

like hundreds of millions of dollars

there's not enough ads to go around on

YouTube for for everybody many of my

videos are making like twenty percent of

what they were just one week ago."

So in order to make sure that YouTube doesn't

die and the partner program would still

continue YouTube has made some major

changes. All right, so on the blog they

say "Starting today, we will no longer

serve ads on YouTube Partner Program

videos until the channel reaches ten

thousand lifetime views" and they will be

reviewing the channel and its content

after they reach ten thousand views. So, yes,

the update is taking effect starting

today. So, that's pretty much it. Once you

reach 10,000 lifetimes views, you will be

able to submit your channel for approval.

Once your channel gets approved and

YouTube makes sure that you're not just

reuploading content, you will be able to

post videos with ads on them.

And, that's pretty much it. Thanks for watching and

I'll see you in the next one

GNTC | The 2017 NW Georgia Region 1 EMS Educator of the Year - Duration: 1:31.

(Claudio) My name is Claudio Leyssens and I am Georgia's

Region 1 EMS Educator of the Year for 2017.

Winning the award was an amazing feeling, it was a real honor winning it.

You're competing with the top educators in Region 1.

We have five programs - four EMT programs and one paramedic program.

Our students are approximately, first semester about 60% classroom 40% hands-on and then

that slowly but surely turns around towards the last semester it's probably more like

70% hands-on and 30% classroom.

We have different kinds of hands-on class time.

That can be anything from practicing patient assessment on each other to doing a full patient

assessment or treatment on a simulated patient.

We have an indoor simulator that we use to get students familiar with how to work in

Miguel Rivera - Pentatonic Scales for Jazz Improvisation - Duration: 9:31.

Hello everyone! Miguel Rivera here

In this video we're going to go over Jazz Improvisation using pentatonic scales

I will explain to you some tricks used by Jazz musicians

Using pentatonic scales instead of the typical diatonic scales or modes...

...or chromatic or disminished scales..

In this case, we are going to use the more known pentatonic shape

The Minor Pentatonic in A

The harmony is going to be a A7 chord

I have the chord recorded here in the looper

It's a A7 chord

So the idea is... If I have a A7 chord in the middle of a song, normaly you play the mixolydian scale in A..

This is it

But in this case, we are going to use a trick. It consist in playing the minor pentatonic scale but one step up

That's the minor pentatonic in B

What is the sense of that? This is a trick to get a certain notes

if we analyze the notes that I am playing and I compare the notes with the chord to know what intervals I have

We need some knowledge about harmony to do this

I have B that is the 9th(2th) of A7, this is a tension note

then I have D that is the 11th(4th), another tension

then I have E that is the 5th, a chord note

then F#, that is the 13th (6th), another tension note. So Ihave the 3 tensions that a chord could have, 9th, 11th and 13th

Sometimes these tensions are altered (sharp or flat) but in this case they are 9th,11th and 13th. All of them major or perfect intervals.

So I have a scale with a tense sonority. with the 3 tensions of the chord.

then Ihave here the 5th that this is a chord note

and finally I have the root (A)

So this is a scale with the 3 tensions of the chord plus the root and the 5th of the chord

This is the scale we're going to use: Minor Pentatonic in B

On 6th string we play 7th and 10th fret

On 5t string 7th and 9th fret

the same on 4th string

the same on 3rd string

7th and 10th frets on 2nd string and the same on 1st string

The same scale that we use to play the blues

but in this case we are not going to play so many bendings or blues articulations

another important thing, if I play the scale without an approachment maybe it sounds tense...

...and I dont find points to rest, so to speak...if I play

maybe it is a rare sonority

what I recommend is to look for the chord notes (I call it isle notes)..

they are notes where I can rest a little, in this case root (A) and 5th (E)

If Ilook for the E(s) and A(s) I have a E here

An A here

An E here

An A here

What I mean is that it would be good to finish the licks in one of these notes

I f I finish on other notes... I am remarking the tensions

But I would try to play through the pentatonic scale but finishing the licks on root or 5th, like this...

If I play them (roots and 5th) it seems an arpeggio of the chord

I think that, at the beginning, when you start with this sonority, If you haven't this into account (isle notes), the sonority sounds strange to you

But if you look for the isle notes and you try to rest there the result is better because you finish on chord notes (consonant notes)

On the other hand, this scale is very useful because I can play it with other kind of chords

The scale doesn't have the 3th or 7th of the chord...

...what we call "Guide Notes"

Depending on the kind of 3rd, major or minor and depending the kind of 7th (major or minor) we can generate different chords

In the case of a 7 Chord we have Major 3rd (3) and minor 7th (b7)

But , how I said, this scale, the minor pentatonic in B, only has the root and the 5th of the chord

so we can play another chord, for example an Am7

because the root and the 5th continue being the same

We're going to delete what we have in the looper, that is a A7 and we're going to record an Am7

and we do the same

Ok? so, this trick, to play the minor pentatonic 1 step up is suitable for an Am7 chord as well.

and it would be suitable for an Amaj7 too

It would be this

ok? I know that without a good knowledge about harmony it is difficult to understand

because I am talking about intervals and it is necessary to have clear the kind of intervals there are and so on...

but it is a trick you can use

What cannot you use? or it would be more risky...

To use it with the Am7b5 chord, because the chord has a diminished 5th (b5) and the scale has a perfect 5th

So The b5 and 5 won't work well together

But it really is a good trick to use with a 7 chord, a m7 chord or a Maj7 chord

with all of them you can go a step up and play the minor pentatonic scale, maybe because you don't remember the proper scale or because you want to get this sonority

but taking into account that this 2 notes are the "isle notes", this and this too

If you get this, that you have the pentatonic scale but that, here, here, here and here is where you have to rest that's right

You can use it on every part of the fretboard, always going 1 step up of the chord...

if the chord is G I play the scale in A, and the "isle notes" will keep being in the same place of the scale pattern

They there will always be in the same place...so if you work on this it will be a good resource to use

and you will get quickly to something that provide a certain sonority and it works

So this is it!, I hope it is interesting for you

See you on the next occasion!

Capsule Wardrobe For Men - 37 Items You Need To Create Stylish Spring-Summer & Fall-Winter Outfits - Duration: 12:36.

Welcome back to the Gentleman's Gazette! In today's video we discuss capsule wardrobe

for men, what it is, we touch the history, what it's benefits are and whether it's right for you or not.

Of course I also discuss my capsule wardrobe for fall-winter and spring-summer so you have a good starting point.

Capsule wardrobe is a term you hear all over the place

but first let's establish what the term actually means? Basically, it's a small

collection of outfits with a sole purpose or maximizing the use of each item meaning everything

works well with one another so you get a maximum number of outfits with minimal wardrobe. A

capsule wardrobe includes only the everyday essentials you have in your wardrobe and the

idea is that you have something that you could wear for three months exclusively.

It follows the quality over quantity approach and it's supposed to reduce the dissatisfaction

with your wardrobe even though you have a lot of items. Overall the capsule wardrobe

is a minimalist approach to clothing and it does not include accessories. Personally,

I love clothes but I had to resort to a capsule wardrobe when I was traveling for 105 days

around the world. Because of that I had to carefully think what items am I going to wear,

what climate zones will I be in and then I could only choose what I had without buying

anything more because we travel all the time and having heavy luggage and overweight luggage

is not fun to travel with. Chances are you've created your own capsule wardrobe whenever

you travel for an extended period of time.

So the capsule wardrobes been around since 1970s and the phrase was actually coined

by a boutique in London. In the 1980s Donna Karan released a capsule collection that was geared

towards women and the idea was to have items that all work with one another.

So why could a capsule wardrobe make sense for you? First of all, if you're going to

go on a long trip or any trip at all, it's really good to have items that you can combine

with one another because it gives you more options and you don't have to haul heavy

stuff with you. It's also great for people who have a large closet and many items of

clothing yet they can't see to the trees for the forest and they don't know what

to wear. It could also be good for you if you wear the same things over and over again

or if you have 3 or 4 different versions of very similar items such as the blazer yet

you're never entirely happy with each or anyone of those items.

So what are the big benefits of a capsule wardrobe. First of all, it's a very conscious

process which forces you to think and therefore generally reach better results. Each item in your

collection has a specific purpose and you have to check beforehand if you can wear it

with one another or if it goes with existing items that you already have on your wardrobe.

As a result you take your clothes shopping a lot more seriously. And as a result, you'll

likely be a lot happier with your choices because everything works with one another

you bring down the cost per wear enormously. On the flip side that means you can now invest

in higher quality garments that cost more because you buy fewer of them. It also means

you stop settling for garments that are just okay and you go for really really good. On

top of that you learn how to utilize accessories to really change your look because at the

end of the day, a pocket square, a bowtie or a tie are a lot less expensive yet the look

can be the same as if buying an entirely new suit. If you live in a big city where large

closets and apartments are very expensive or you if you just don't have enough closet

space, the capsule wardrobe is a godsend because it significantly reduces the amount of space

you need for your clothes. Also you can have a hundred bow ties or ties that take up as

much space as a single suit so having a large number of accessories won't hinder you from

having a really versatile wardrobe once you have that capsule collected.

So how do you create a capsule wardrobe. First of all, choose a 3 month period because that's

a good time frame. It's not too long, it's not too short that will help you to choose

the right pieces. Initially, you look what you already have in your wardrobe that you

will like to wear and that you think you can combine with other pieces. Ideally, you do

all this two weeks before you actually need it. Which means two weeks before the season

starts two weeks before your trip or whatever that event is. Of course, if you go on a hiking

trip, you need a very different outfits than if you're going to go on Vienna and you

visit operas all day long. Rather than just going out and buying everything new, I suggest

to focus on what you already have because you know what it looks like, know what it

feels like, know what its shortcomings are and its benefits. Then fill in the gaps from

there.

Store all the other clothing away or donate to people in need. Force yourself to not wear

anything outside of your capsule wardrobe. It makes you creative and as I said before

accessories are not part of that so that's where you really start creating your unique

looks always having that same jacket.

So what does my personal capsule wardrobe look like? Basically I decided I need about

thirty seven items. Now when I say a three-piece suit, that's already 3 items. For the fall-winter

season, I would choose 2-3 piece suits, one in gray flannel and one in a small houndstooth

maybe in brown or gray and white. I would also go with a navy solid 2-piece suit, a brown

needle head suit or maybe brown striped suit, choose one of them. And then maybe a mid gray

suit or something with a pattern such as a nice classic glen check or prince of wales

check. On top of that I would add 2 sport coats. Definitely a tweed coat maybe in a

herringbone pattern, even brown and then maybe a navy blue flannel blazer double breasted

with patch pockets and differing maybe blonde horn buttons just so I have a different look

from just my regular navy jacket for my suit.

I had three vests, one maybe a burgundy doeskin, another one a bottle green velvet or different

fabric, maybe tweed. And then sweater vest also in a color that works well such as camel

or gray maybe or blue. Because it's cold outside I would add a peacoat which is a shorter

coat and you can learn more about the garment here. As well as a Paletot which is a stylish

overcoat maybe in a gray color with a black velvet collar, that way it's formal. I can

wear it with a tuxedo but I can also wear it in any kind of suit and during midday.

Obviously a tuxedo is a very special item and you have to decide if you need it or not

depending on the events that you're going to attend in the next three months. In terms

of shirts, I suggest you go with 8 basic ones which includes a white shirt with a french

cuff and a regular collar or something that suits your face A light blue shirt maybe with

barrel cuffs. An oxford shirt definitely with barrel cuffs and a crew shirt which you can

wear with tweeds or casual outfits. Also you may want to invest in twill shirt in a pastel

color such as pink or purple, green or yellow simply because it adds a different note to

your outfit.

For pants, I'll go with corduroys, maybe olive green or brown, definitely add a pair

of gray flannel. If I have already gray flannel suit, I'd skip that maybe go with a doeskin

or a pair of chinos.

For sweaters, I'd go with a v neck sweater because I wear a lot of ties. If you don't

you could get a round crew neck. Color wise I'd stick with burgundy or bottle green.

You can also go with blues or grays or whatever you prefer but I would also suggest you go

with a cardigan because you can button it up. Its just a slightly different garment.

Its very comfortable and always make sure to go with a different color than what you

chose for your sweater.

For shoes, I'd go with 3 pairs. A black classic cap toe oxford. Then a mid-brown derby

shoe and a burgundy loafer. To learn more about the specifics of these 3 shoes please

check out our in depth video here.

Because it's winter I also want 2 pairs of boots and ideally you want to have a chelsea

boot and a chukka boot. And to learn more about those, please check out our boot video

here. Now if you live or travel to a warmer climate, your capsule wardrobe will look entirely

different. First of all, because it's warmer I'd skip any type of 3 piece suits and only

go with 2 pieces. My picks would be a fresco suit maybe in a mid gray or something in blue.

Then a tropical worsted one that's in a different color maybe slightly lighter and

a seersucker suit. To learn more about seersucker, please check out this guide here.

Because it's a warmer climate you can be more daring and you can have more sport coats.

I suggest to go with a blue and white checked cotton sport coat maybe a brown linen sport

coat something in green. Also something of a mix maybe with a silk blend just to get

a different texture and you can get a coarser weave such as a Panama weave because it just

provides a different look to your outfits. Ideally you also want to have at least one

checked item in there, such as a glen check or an overcheck one is small one is bigger

so you don't just end up with solids.

For more casual outings, I'd thrown in a Harrington jacket and you can learn more about

that in out full fledge guide here. Again, I would 8 dress shirts however slightly differently,

I would have open weave shirts that are really breathable in white, in light blue. Only stick

with very pastel colors because it works really well summer. Instead of using all cotton you

can experiment with linen cotton blends or even some silk blends. They are more coarse.

They have modeled look. They wrinkle in a different way and they are just more casual

and seasonally appropriate.

For pants, I suggest you go with nantucket red pair of cotton trousers because it's

very contrasty. It has a preppy feel. I'd go with maybe a beige seersucker pants if

you already have a blue seersucker suit. I'd add a navy pair of slacks in solid color.

just for very office appropriate wear and in a tropical worsted because its the perfect

material for hot summers. And then I would add a mid blue pair of linen pants which is

also very versatile and brighter in it's color. Of course you always want to thrown

in a khaki pair of chinos because it goes with anything. You could dress it up or down,

super versatile, you can learn all about it in this video here.

If you wear shorts, go maybe with something like madras shorts which would be my personal

pick. Then I would go with a needle head and maybe something else in linen.

For my dress shoes I would get 3 pairs probably a plain derby in a mid brown or a full brogue

in an oxford brown or the other way around as well as a tan light loafer or a penny loafer

or tassel loafer because those three colors are more seasonally appropriate rather than

a black oxford that wouldn't go so well with the other items in your spring summer

capsule wardrobe.

Last but not the least, I would add a pair of boat shoes because you can wear it barefoot.

It's comfortable, it has a much more casual look and for the same reason maybe add a pair

of driving mocs which you can wear driving or at a resort. To learn more about boat shoes

check out this video. To learn more about driving mocs, have a look here.

Now all these suggestions were just highly personalized to my tastes and they may not

work for you. I you want to learn more about it, please go to our full fledged guide where

we have 2 additional wardrobes laid out for you that you can take as a foundation and

then change things as you see fit.

British expat is selling fresh mountain air from Switzerland - for a breathtaking |WEIRD NEWS - Duration: 5:46.

British expat is selling fresh mountain air from Switzerland - for a breathtaking £200 a bottle

IT consultant John Green, who has lived in Basel for 20 years, captures the air in a "secret" location high up in the pristine Swiss Alps and is planning to ship bottles to polluted cities around the world

An enterprising British expat is hoping to cash in by selling jars of fresh mountain air - for £200 a bottle.

John Green, 64, captures the air high up in the pristine Swiss Alps and is planning to ship bottles to buyers who live in smog-filled cities around the world.

John, an IT consultant originally from London, said the air is from a secret location at an altitude of 10,000ft, and is the ultimate present for the man or woman that has everything.

It may seem like a silly idea but there is a demand for bottled fresh air in polluted countries such as China, where the wealthy spend thousands of pounds for just a few seconds of relief.

The bottles range in price from £78 to £200 each . John, who lives in Basel, insists that the sealed bottles contain genuine mountain air from an Alpine country that has the best air in the world.

He said: I actually go 3,000 metres (10,000ft) up to fetch it. I dont go into a car park to get it, honest.

I have lived here for 20 years, and the Swiss dont know what theyve got. The air really is something special.

John Green has lived in Switzerland for 20 years . When I go up the mountains I really do feel better, I am not imagining it. I seriously feel almost reborn..

The air from the Zermatt region comes in three sizes - £200 for a jeroboam (three litres), £135 for a magnum (one litre) and £78 for a pint.

John moved from Tunbridge Wells to Basel 20 years ago, mainly because of the skiing and the healthy lifestyle.

He said: I havent sold any of the air yet as the company was only launched at the weekend, but the Swiss and German media has gone mad about it.

John bottles the air near Zermatt. A lot of them think I am nuts, but in a nice sort of way. The air comes with a signed certificate of authenticity and the GPS coordinates of exactly where it was collected.

On a promotional video on the website, he says: If youre sitting in some polluted town, which you probably are, gasping with diesel fumes, were at 3,000 metres, and weve just got new supplies of mountain air. so get yours.

By feeding the GPS coordinates into Google maps the buyer can view the exact location. John said: Only purchasers will know where their jar of air was collected. We keep the extraction location a secret to protect supplies.

All I can say is it is collected near a babbling mountain stream, fed by melt water from a famous glacier, near a very famous mountain.

Every bottle comes with a certificate of authenticity. He recommends chilling the air in the freezer for full effect before flicking the latch open.

John, who also runs a wellness advice website, said: Theres a quick pfsst and you can take a breath of genuine mountain air from Switzerland.

But you dont have to open it. You can just keep it as a collectors item or to remind you of the good life and open at a later date or celebration..

His website states: You have had high calorie Swiss cheese, youve surely had high calorie Swiss chocloate [sic], now experience zero calorie Swiss air!.

John has promised to donate 25 per cent of the proceeds from sales to the World Vision Clean Water Initiative in Africa. His girlfriend Sabina, 46, is a supporter and got him interested.

He said: She thinks the idea is hilarious. The air makes a fun gift for birthdays and you know and you know your money is going to a good cause.

If sales take off I will send even more. I just really want to cover my costs. Hopefully with the interest across Europe things are looking up.

He added: Of course, people wont feel better by opening the jar and sniffing it, but it is an attractive bottle and a nice thing to have, and will make you feel better about yourself.
