Hey guys it's Kelly Roach with your two
minute tip for the week and today I
want to talk a little bit about business
differentiation. So many times small
business owners and entrepreneurs think
that the fact that they're smaller or
that they have less resources or a smaller
team is a negative in their marketplace
and they feel embarrassed or they feel
like they're at a competitive
disadvantage because they have less
resources or they are newer, they're
smaller or whatever the case you know
the drill, you've said all of these things
yourself I know I have too and one of the
most important things that I learned
over the last few years is that you know
people want to do business with people and
the easiest way to differentiate
yourself in business is to really
understand your clients and serve them
and really truly care about servicing
them and getting them the result that
they came to you for not just the initial
transaction that they were seeking or
that you are seeking and it's so
interesting because we're in this time
and space of so many businesses
automating and so many businesses
cutting back on kind of the the softer
side of treating their customers with
care and respect and love and concern
and what I found is that time and time
again going above and beyond to love and
care for your customer and to do
everything you can do to make sure that
the result that they came to you for
that they're actually getting and that
you work hard every single day to serve
them and to be of true service and a
true value but understanding them and
really going above and beyond to make a
difference for them that's an
unbelievable differentiator in today's
marketplace and I found that clients are
beginning to refer 10 times more than
they did in the past as we began to
realize this and as we focused on doing
so many extra little things every single
month like quality assurance calls and
surveying our members and asking them
what we can improve on and asking how
else we can help them and really asking
deep penetrating questions to figure out
how we can serve them better and so what
I want you to know it doesn't matter how
big or small you are, it doesn't matter how
new you are or what stage your business
is
in if you can go above and beyond in
the care the concern and the focus on
being of service not only will your
customers stay longer and spend more but
they'll also refer high quality premium
clients to you and it will build your
reputation in your marketplace which is
absolutely invaluable in the ability to
rapidly grow your business so I hope
