6 Ways A Spiritually Enlightened Person Views Death

Death is a destination shared by all living things.

People view death with fear, as means of escape from worldly suffering, or a natural process

of replacing the old with new, based on their own way of thinking.

Different religions and cultures view spiritual enlightenment in different lights, but the

basic meaning remains that being enlightened is having full comprehension of our purpose

of life which ends with death.

According to the author of On Death and Dying Elizabeth Kubler Ross, death is nothing

but a peaceful cessation of the functioning of the body.

A spiritually enlightened person does not fear death but views in different ways based

on philosophy of his/her life.

6.

Death helps us perceive impermanence of life:

Awareness of death helps people perceive the eventual futility of worldly bonds, relationships,

pleasures and wealth.

The followers of Buddha are often encouraged to meditate on death, as it helps them to

understand the impermanence of life which helps them from falling victims to worldly

pleasures and greed.

People who fear death often try to hide from it by immersing themselves in superficial

happiness.

When we understand the inevitability of death, we can focus more on spiritual enlightenment

and self actualization as we know that death can strike any moment and the time we have

on hand counts.

5.

Death is not be feared:

Epicurus stated, Death is nothing to us, since when we are, death has not come, and

when death has come, we are not. There is no meaning in spending our lives in fear

of death, because we as people do not feel the pain of death.

We cease to exist, so does our pain and suffering.

A person can live a life of satiation and tranquility when his mind is free from the

fear of death.

Spiritually enlightened people strive to overcome the fear of death and perceive it as an end

of pain and suffering

4.

Death is peaceful sleep:

We end every day with a peaceful sleep in the night, so do we end our lives with a longer

sleep known as death.

With wisdom comes the enlightenment that, like a person who spends the day fruitfully

sleeps peacefully in the night, so does a life well spent life brings peaceful unperturbed

death.

Ceasing of senses happens to us every time we go sleep; death is nothing much different

than this other, than we do not wake from the next morning.

3.

Life is trial:

According to the philosophy of life after death; our present life is nothing but a preparation

for the permanent afterlife.

The followers of many religions believe in life after death in next realm.

They consider death to be a passage which leads them to be one with their creator, in

other words death means being unified with God.

The acceptance of life after death has enabled the believers to accept that God is ultimately

just and whatever injustice happens on earth has a reason.

The life after death philosophy helps people to overcome the grief, fear and fatality of

death.

2.

Death is not an end but a new beginning:

People, who believe in rebirth and reincarnation of souls, do not consider death a calamity

or end, but a new beginning through rebirth.

Followers of Hinduism believe that man creates his own destiny on earth, as his actions are

responsible for how he will be reborn.

People often try to attain freedom from this cycle of birth and rebirth by attaining Moksha.

Therefore death is not viewed as a calamity but freedom from the suffering of a vicious

cycle.

On the other birth is viewed as continuing of the suffering, but an opportunity to earn

Moksha.

1.

Death is certainty of life:

Death is a proof that no matter how much we progress, as mortals we are ultimately helpless

and vulnerable when the end comes.

Spiritually enlightened people hold death as a mirror that helps them to accept other

facets of life that cannot be controlled.

In the fast changing world, the spiritually enlightened people see death as an unchanging

certainty and constant factor of the universe.

People, who fear and try to hide from death, will ultimately, fail in living their life

to the fullest, whereas death will make its appearance when it has to.

BMW R1200 GS review and test : is it really a new bike ? MOTO JOURNAL - Duration: 11:27.

Everybody knows the BMW R1200 GS. It's simple, it's undoubtedly the best-selling large motorbike in the world.

In France, it is in the top 5 and in Germany, it is the number 1 best-selling bike, with 7000 sold each year.

For 2017, the new BMW R1200 GS has a few modifications, but there are two special versions, including the Rallye which we went to test at March Moto Madness

March Moto Madness is held here in Dreux.

For anyone who is bad at geography, it's just here, where the cross is. But it was a bit too close to home.

So to get there, we decided to take a little detour. Not too far, we just went via the Ardèche

That meant we could test the new GS in its Exclusive version.

And since the guys from SW Motech kitted the bike out like a Tibetan Sherpa,

doing 140km on it should be a walk in the park.

No messing around, every time we get on an R1200 GS, we're blown away.

This big adventure bike is surprising for a number of reasons.

We are impressed by the handling, its overall balance and the agility of the chassis, the well-roundedness of the engine and the smoothness of the controls.

Clocking up the kilometres on this famous German bike is like flying on a magic carpet. Nothing can spoil the ride.

The Telelever/Paralever suspension smooths out the bumps in the road while offering ultimate comfort for the rider and an incredible level of precision through the corners.

As a result, it's not easy to improve on this beast. That's why the marketing team at BMW decided to bring out two new versions for this year.

The one we chose for road riding was the Exclusive version.

So what makes it different from the Standard GS? Well, not much to be honest.

Firstly, it has a special colour scheme, known as Ice Chocolate Metallic – which is basically brown.

Then you have the golden callipers, the aluminium hubcaps on the sides and the engine casing and universal joint painted black. And that's it!

As for the 2017 version of the GS, it has also seen one or two small changes.

The engine now complies with the Euro4 standards but it has kept the same power at 125bhp.

The gearbox has also been updated to be smoother and quieter.

Finally, the ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) system has been revised.

From now on, the preloading of the shock absorber is set automatically according to the weight of the rider and the luggage.

But that is an optional extra. And as usual with BMW, options packages are a different kettle of fish!

As you have seen, it doesn't take long to list the differences between the standard and Exclusive versions.

However, to give you the number of options BMW-style, it takes a bit longer

To start with, there's the Dynamic pack. With this, you get the pro riding modes, the pro shifter,

the LED headlight and the LED indicators. All of that costs €1,465, and that's just the start

Then there's the comfort pack, which is cheaper, at €545.

With this option you get heated handlebars, a tyre pressure sensor and hand protectors, plus another couple of less expensive gadgets

And finally, there's the touring pack, at €1,685.

Personally, I think this is the most important because you get the keyless starter, the Dynamic ESA, and the on-board computer – basically all the essentials.

Oh yeah, and there is also a speed regulator, which is great on the motorway

€20,230 is pretty steep. And yet, GS's sell like hot cakes.

The question is: why?

We think it's down to the incredible versatility of this bike.

There are plenty of bikes that you can go to the office on during the week and then go for a ride on at the weekend.

The GS does that and more. Its perfect balance, its turning circle and its perfectly straight riding position make it perfect for weaving your way around the city centre.

When it comes to travelling, its suitability is plain to see.

The GS is undoubtedly one of the bikes which takes the best care of its rider.

The overall comfort, protection and lightness when changing direction mean that at the end of the day, you still feel fresh.

Finally, since the switch to the liquid-cooled engine in 2013,

the GT adventure bike became livelier and sportier.

On tight and twisty roads, not many bikes can rival it in terms of efficiency, even among big beefy roadsters and other sporty bikes.

If you have the 2016 version, keep hold of it,

unless you are really into off-roading and you are dying to get your hands on the Rallye version.

Talking of which, we're going to see what the guys at March Moto Madness think of it

At first, given the event's name, we thought it would be some kind of extreme endurance competition.

We were completely wrong. March Moto Madness is a huge 14-hectare theme park open to beginners.

As well as long rides, there are plenty of different mini courses of increasing difficulty, so you can go at your own pace.

At the event we saw quite a range of bikes, from basic little adventure bikes to big fully-equipped GT adventure bikes.

And since there weren't many people with a GS, we took the opportunity to further our investigation into the commercial success of this bike.

What do you think of the GS for off-roading?

Amazing. Really amazing. Obviously it has the weight. But the chassis is awesome too.

I like the feeling of having a big bike under me but one which can go anywhere.

I don't know if I would go as far as to say a pleasure, but it's really enjoyable to have a big bike which weighs around 200kg or 250kg and which is so manoeuvrable.

And then, you leave the dirt road and you can get up to 200 km/h with one squeeze of the throttle.

That's not good!

I didn't say I did it, but apparently you can

Have you ridden other GS's before this one?

No.

And have you tried other big adventure bikes?

I had a KTM 990 before. It's completely different.

The KTM is more suited to off-roading.

This one is great on the road and good for off-roading. It's not as good as the KTM because it's a bit heavier, but I actually prefer this bike

Just this once, it's my turn to be the beginner, because off-roading really isn't my thing.

To start with, I forgot to lower the pressure of the tyres.

So obviously at the first corner, after just touching the wet grass, I lost control like a massive idiot.

You should note however that I am a real pro when it comes to picking the bike back up.

Also, SW Motech fitted it out with all the necessary protections, so there wasn't a scratch on our new GS Rallye.

As well as the blue colour scheme, this version has some wonderful rims, a flat saddle, a low windscreen and enduro-type foot rests.

But as usual with BMW, the best is on the inside.

And with the sports chassis option,

the setting of the suspension springs is stiffer and the shock absorber/spring set is longer to increase traction for off-roading.

On paper, the Rallye really is a formidable weapon.

And quite honestly, I was pretty frightened and tense for the first part of the test.

But actually, this bike is incredible

OK, as you can see, when it comes to off-roading, I'm a novice.

And the impressive thing about this bike is that it makes your life easier.

Despite being heavy, it is really manoeuvrable, really well-balanced and in enduro mode, the management of the throttle is perfect.

. Even at really low revs, you don't need the clutch to get back on the power

OK, we're not going to bore you for too long with pictures of me riding at a snail's pace like someone who's never ridden before.

We're going to concentrate on the riders at March Moto Madness.

The organiser of this two-day event is Cocoricorando.

A group of 4 friends who also organise several adventure events like the Paris-Dunkirk,

the Vercingétorix or La Royale - a new event for 2017 held around the castles of the Loire.

The main idea was to bring adventure biking closer to home. And it works pretty well because France is an ideal playground.

And they do things properly. At the MMM, there are loads of really cool staff, with plenty of sideshows, like runs or slow races.

They even got our mate Jean Pierre Goy along to do a demo and give some tips.

In short, all the ingredients are there for a great weekend.

But we were there to work on the GS after all.

And after a bit of searching, we found a real connoisseur. His name is Michel and has ridden BMWs since 1978.

Why did you choose the GS?

It's the most versatile,When you get to the camp at rallies like the Hard Alpi Tour, the riders on other bikes are often tinkering with them through the night, but you can sleep easy

the first GS LC, the one which came out in 2013, there were lots of problems. I think it was put on the market too soon.

Some people had no problems, I had lots with the 2013 model. But otherwise, I've got a 2016 model and it's wonderful

Some refreshing honesty from a BMW fan. It's true that the first liquid-cooled GS's and RT's went through some initial growing pains.

And yet, when it comes to the intrinsic quality of the GS, you have to admit it's a great machine.

And as we've seen in this video, its versatility remains its biggest strength,

whether it's for road riding or off-roading.

Although, in terms of sturdiness, we found something even better. An unbreakable, light and inexpensive bike… and it's vintage too!

And the Suzuki DR starts up straight away even after a soaking like that!

To end with, we really wanted to thank the Cocoricorando team for their welcome and their professionalism.

Quite honestly, these guys bend over backwards to make sure that the riders have fun, whatever their level.

But anyway, we wanted to give the final word to our favourite diver, who managed to keep his smile despite being absolutely drenched!

please come numerous !

We liked

Its versatility The well-roundedness of the engine Its ability to clock up a lot of miles Its overall efficiency Its off-road handling, even for novices

We didn't like

The cost of the optional extras The power of the boxer at high revs (for real speed freaks) Being rubbish at off-roading

Is Donald Trump a Narcissist What Psychologists Say about Trump's Personality - Duration: 6:33.

Is

Donald

Trump a Narcissist What Psychologists Say about Trumps Personality

I would like to begin this article by saying that Im neither a supporter nor an opponent

of Donald Trump, but he is certainly a curious subject for psychological evaluation.

So lets forget about the politics for a moment and focus solely on psychology.

What do psychologists say about Trumps personality?

Many psychologists and mental health professionals have attempted to make a psychological profile

of the US president.

While their opinions vary, they all agree on one fact: Trumps personality is an extreme

one.

At the same time, narcissism seems to be one of the most frequently used terms to describe

Trumps personality.

Thus, back in December, three professors from Harvard Medical School and the University

of California wrote Barack Obama a letter about Trumps symptoms of mental instability,

such as grandiosity, impulsivity, hypersensitivity to slights or criticism, and an apparent inability

to distinguish between fantasy and reality.

Could these be the signs of narcissism?

Lets find out.

Is Trump a narcissist?

John D. Gartner, a practicing psychotherapist, believes that Trump is dangerously mentally

ill and temperamentally incapable of being president. He goes on with using the term

malignant narcissism, which is basically a mix of such traits as narcissism, aggression,

antisocial personality disorder, grandiosity and sadism.

While Gartner acknowledges the fact that he never had a chance to personally examine Donald

Trump, he claims that the presidents public behavior gives us enough clues to diagnose

him with narcissism.

Lets take a look at the nine-point checklist used by the professionals at The American

Psychiatry Association to diagnose their patients with Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

If an individual exhibits at least five of the below-described traits, then they most

certainly have the disorder:

A grandiose feeling of self-importance, a tendency to exaggerate their achievements

and talents.

A lack of empathy, being unable to relate to the needs and feelings of other people.

Manipulative traits, a tendency to take advantage of others for their own good.

Having fantasies of great power, unimaginable success, divine beauty or intelligence, or

ideal, fairytale-like love.

Having a firm belief in their own uniqueness, feeling that no one is capable of understanding

them.

An all-consuming need for admiration from other people.

A feeling of envy: either being envious of others or believing that others are envious

of them.

A sense of entitlement, such as expecting a special treatment from others.

Arrogant behaviors.

So what do you think?

Do the above-described points sound like Trump?

The supporters of the idea that the US president is indeed a narcissist believe that he does

exhibit at least five of these traits.

According to them, some examples of his narcissistic behavior include Trumps obsession with

bashing the fake news, which are, in essence, any sources of information that say

negative things about him or refuse to praise him.

He also surrounds himself only with people who express admiration to his persona and

loses his temper if someone says anything negative about him, showing oversensitivity

to criticism.

Psychologists refer to this kind of behaviors as disconnection from reality, which

are typical for people with personality disorders including narcissism.

In any case, lets not forget that all these are just assumptions, and the only way to

make a certain diagnosis about someones mental health is to examine the individual

in person.

In fact, professionals at The American Psychiatry Association have an ethics code which includes

the so-called Goldwater Rule.

This rule claims that it is ethically wrong to assess a public figures mental health

without actually examining them and having their consent to share the results of the

psychological evaluation.

The Ratcatcher's Flute. Episode 3. Russian TV Series. English Subtitles. StarMediaEN - Duration: 44:41.

Did you identify the victim?

Yes. Genis Viktoriya Eduardovna.

Don't move! Damn it!

Did you know that the signs he left on the bodies

were drawn on sheds in the Medieval times to ward off rats?

in a movie A PIPE OF THE PIED PIPER

Created by Ekaterina Kostikova

Deliver this to my place.

Who is here?

Director of Photography – Mayt Myaekivi

Art Director – Svetlana Smirnova

Music by Alexei Chintsov

Titov met with a Novikov in the club.

The drug control department has been watching him for long.

Executive Producer – Philipp Brusnikin

Stop!

Hi. What's the matter, guys?

General Producer – Vlad Ryashin

Streltsova is in the emergency. The doctor said that she would live.

She asked you to sign this.

What has happened to her?

Poisoning. Guess what poisoned her!

Is it the same toxin that poisoned the others?

Why are you keeping me here?

Just tell me what you want from me.

Tell me, what have I done?

Give me some water.

Titov must be connected with the drugs.

I need his connections with the murders.

I don't care about his connections with the drugs.

As you wish. However, if Titov has drug-makers,

he has access to any chemicals including the toxin

with which all our victims had been poisoned.

‒ Do you have any pill against headache? ‒ Yes, one moment.

Titov knows Pryakhin well.

He could know Alla Rokunova through him.

Rokunova saw Titov at the show, got scared and ran away.

Maybe she ran away on seeing Mikaela Kostina dead.

Well… Titov is sleeping with Zhenya.

He could know Sonya for they were girlfriends.

Titov knows Pryakhin and could know Alla Rokunova through him.

Exactly.

Titov may know other girls who worked for Perigorskiy's agency.

For example, Mikaela.

The result – Sonya is dead. Alla disappeared.

Mikaela is dead. Zhenya is in the emergency.

What if the girls were involved in the drug dealing? Thanks.

Titov might suspect one of them and think that she was…

reporting on him.

‒ That she was a rat? ‒ Yes.

Somebody is killing girls leaving marks for scaring rats off.

May it is a message?

That death awaits the talkative rat?

Then the letter we got doesn't fit into this picture.

Still, the rest does.

Bastard! You're a bastard! You should be killed!

Don't touch me! Don't touch me, I tell you!

Yes?

We found Titov's car by Korolev, near an agricultural farm.

There is a workshop that produces fertilizers there.

Titov is there at the moment. My people are at call.

I've arranged it. We may go.

You're talking and talking…

Don't touch me!

Water!

This is it. This is it…

Igor, I'm sorry, I got stuck in a traffic jam. Has something happened?

‒ Zhenya got into a trouble. ‒ Oh, God!

"No, she is alive but… She is in the emergency; her state is grave. "

The storehouse is there. That's the workshop.

Titov is there with three others.

Captain, go to the back door with your people.

Don't start without our command.

Guys, move to the back door, be quick! Come on, faster!

This is what we sell in the streets. The dirt for the trumps.

‒ I see. ‒ This is for the high-society young boys.

This is the best one. Do you have the money?

Yes, I do. Let's go.

It's all here.

Move it!

Stop! Go back!

This is it!

To the wall!

I got you!

Lie down!

They had an entire laboratory producing drugs.

They were producing them on an industrial scale. I got you. Yes.

‒ Sergeant, what about the girls? ‒ Nothing.

Load it!

Your fingerprints, DNA samples,

traces and so on are all over in Streltsova's apartment.

The neighbors saw you coming to her.

So, don't play fool with me. What were you doing in her apartment?

I told you. I don't know.

‒ Do you recognize these girls? ‒ Were they beaten too?

It's none of your business.

Stasov? Call off the interrogation. And leave us alone.

I got a call from the department. Do you know Colonel Medvedev?

What if I do?

Then you may introduce yourself, Captain Titov

from the department for drug trafficking control.

Tell me, Captain Titov, why were you making fools out of us

instead of helping the investigation?

I've been working on Shtir for 8 months.

I got acquainted with serious people. Soon we would be able

to press on the real actors, not some extras like Shtir.

You and your guys foiled my operation. So if somebody has to report

before somebody, that's you. You'll have to report to your bosses.

Yes, yes?

‒ Vesta, hi! ‒ Hi.

Have a walk. I brought a cake.

A low-calorie one. Without animal fats.

All women are on a diet, aren't they? No, sorry, I didn't mean that.

Sorry…

Serezha? Will you help me? I'm bad at brewing coffee.

My coffee has a foul taste. Can you step over them and help me?

Yes… I'm an expert in coffee-making.

I'm coming to help you.

Nika, I…

Stop. In what eye is there a lash?

‒ In the left one. ‒ Right.

‒ This is the right. ‒ It's left for me. Think of a wish.

I've done it.

Now you shall either blow at it or hit me on my hand.

It'll come true now.

I had to meet with Shtir's supplier at the party.

I planned to approach the main cartel through him.

However, chaos started because of Mikaela's death

and the meeting was disrupted.

Do you know Alla Rokunova?

Pryakhin's lover? I saw her a few times.

I didn't recognize her at the show, though.

What about Thursday evening?

I came to Zhenya at about 5. I left after 9.

She was fine when I was leaving.

I didn't know that she was in the emergency until you told me so.

As I understand, you don't know of Alla Rokunova's whereabouts.

You're right.

Sorry.

Yes, it's Fedotov.

Yes. I see. I got you. Thanks.

The laboratory called.

The toxin was found in the apples in Zhenya Streltsova's bedroom.

She was eating them when I was there.

Do you know where she took those apples?

‒ What toxin was it? ‒ The same that poisoned the other victims.

‒ Is it used as a rat poison? ‒ It is.

I heard about it from the boyfriend of Oxana… I think his name is Vadim…

Wait, wait. Voytovitch?

Yes. Voytovitch. He said that he bought that poison.

I see.

‒ What are you doing here? ‒ Hi.

Don't touch me.

I came to you because Igor said that you were at the hospital.

‒ Look, Ksyusha, I want to talk to you. ‒ Let me pass!

‒ I want to talk to you! ‒ May I pass?

‒ Be quiet, be quiet. Don't fret. ‒ Let go! Let go of my hands!

This is better. What's wrong with you?

OK, OK…

Don't come up to me, don't touch me. You're a psycho,

do you realize it? Do you think I don't know who did it?

I do get carried away sometimes.

Sometimes? She is in the emergency! Do you think that I don't know?

You decided to poison rats, didn't you?

Ksyusha, what are you talking about?

He is untimely again.

Wishes come true quickly.

Don't stare at me. Don't make me give you the medicine against your will.

Do you know how they do it? It's better for you not to know.

They shove it down your throat. They did it so where they kept me.

Plus, they were telling me what to do and what not to do.

They said that it was for my own good.

My mum used to say that it was for my own good.

What a lying dirty bitch!

Don't stare at me!

Did your mum keep you here?

You were little.

You were scared. Everything is fine.

You were here alone. You were scared. Be quiet, be quiet.

You're good. Do you hear me? You're very good.

I had a stepfather too. He was bothering me, so I had to escape.

Look, she had no right to keep you here. She shouldn't do it!

Let's not be bad. Let's not keep anybody in. You shall let me go.

You shall let me go because you're good.

I'll be back soon and you'll help me.

We'll be killing rats together.

Drink it.

Serezha?

Oxana, calm down. I understand that it concerns your boyfriend

Vadim Voytovitch but you must tell us everything.

You know, he has always been weird.

How weird? What do you mean?

One night he decided to tell me how to cut a carcass.

He said that human bodies were like pigs'.

He is a restauranteur. It's his job.

I wish you heard him talking about it.

Was there something else?

We practiced role plays in bed. He almost strangled me.

Did you document the bruises?

Look, I just want him to leave me alone!

‒ Is he pursuing you? ‒ It's not the problem.

What is the problem?

The police said that Zhenya was poisoned with rat poison.

Vadim Voynovitch told me that he had been poisoning rats recently.

Oxana, don't worry. However, you will have to go to the police

with us to write a statement. Then we'll be able to search his apartment

and to detain him.

What are real cutlets? They should be cooked from fresh meat.

Let's take pepper and salt…

We shall mix it well. As my English chef used to say…

Are you ready? Go downstairs, I'll come in a moment…

Let me tell you about it…

Look, treat that side too. I killed a rat with a spade somewhere there.

Right, there it is. It stinks so terribly! Clean the mess!

Don't worry. I won't take much of your time. Just a few questions.

Yevgeniya Fedorovna, the laboratory found out that the toxin

you were poisoned with was in the apples.

They were poisoned on purpose. Where did you take them?

Mika gave them to me.

‒ Mikaela Kostina? ‒ Yes.

Where did she take them?

She went to the summer cottage of her friends.

They had plenty of apples and gave her a full basket.

Did she mention the names of her friends?

This is it, this is it.

Zhenya, the last question. Please try to remember.

Did she say where that summer cottage was?

No. No. Mika was very late. She has to change.

We didn't talk about it anymore.

I see. Hold on. Recover!

Hello?

‒ Stasov? Do you hear me? ‒ Yes, I can hear you.

Listen to me attentively. Find all contacts of Mikaela Kostina

and find out whether she visited anybody in their summer cottage.

‒ I see. ‒ Do you hear me?

Yes, I do.

Do whatever you want but find that summer cottage for me.

We will.

I want you to hear me. The case is very serious.

The serial killer is on the prowl. We have reasons to believe

that Yevgeniya Streltsova is his victim.

She is the only one who survived so far. That's why her room

shall be guarded round the clock. No visitors are allowed.

What is it? Osya, what is it? Who is there?

Babkin, come here, quick!

Stop!

He ran there.

How are you?

I tried to stop him, and he hit me.

You'd better kept silence now. Ambulance?

Damn it. Mum! Yes, mum.

The elevator is broken, I'm moving up the stairs.

‒ Makar, you shall do your exercises. ‒ Turn around…

For example, Qigong. I almost started doing that myself.

It's some miracle. Or… you shall at least buy a bicycle.

OK, mum, I'll buy an exercise bicycle.

I'm sorry, mum. A client is waiting.

Wait! I didn't ask you what I wanted! What about that girl Alla?

Serezha and you never tell me about anything! And I worry!

Newspapers are writing about some ritual murders…

that girls are being killed in Moscow by some Satanists.

You should make sure Alla isn't in their hands.

Yes.

Andrei! At last! The table is there. Feel at home.

Wait. Where are you putting it?

May he have some water?

‒He may. ‒ Hold this. Drink.

‒ This is the letter. ‒ Thanks.

‒ Makar? ‒ The door! Close the door!

Makar, stop it! Calm down.

Can you identify him?

I didn't have time to look at him properly. It all happened so quickly.

Then tell us what you remember.

I was walking across the yard.

I wanted to ask Makar Andreyevitch about how the investigation

was going on. Then I heard the shouts "Stop"!

I see.

I didn't have time to come to my senses when he was in front of me.

It happened very quickly. I tried to stop him.

He must have hit me on my head. I fainted.

Try to concentrate and remember what you saw.

I saw a pocket of his jacket… a pocket of the jacket, yes.

All right. What was the color of the jacket?

It was dark… blue… or black.

I can't remember. Sorry.

Thanks. Recover.

Who are they?

They are the girls from Perigorskiy's agency.

I can see that for myself. They are still alive.

The signs are drawn with a market.

What difference does it make? Here you go.

"The Pied Piper will come and none of these beasts will survive.

He'll shoo them away from their lairs and kill them,

stuff their bodies with poison and mark with signs".

Major, they are the next victims of the Piper.

‒ How are you feeling? ‒ Better. Thank you.

Serezha, we have a lot to do. Wow! Look here!

‒ Yes. ‒ Hi.

Hello. What a man! He was hit on the head but he is still smiling!

How are you?

Thank you. I'm better. I have apples.

Pomegranate juice. It's good for the blood. Help yourself.

‒ Serezha, what did you sit down for? ‒ May I? Thanks.

Sure. I've come to the prosecutor's office to compose an identikit

of the attacker. I won't draw it, of course. The artists will draw it

relying on my words. However, I don't remember anything, I'm afraid.

Don't be afraid, and everything will be fine.

Can you imagine? He was running straight at me!

I could stop him, but I failed.

At least you tried. Other people wouldn't do even that.

‒ Still, I don't understand. ‒ What don't you understand?

‒ What does he need it for? ‒ What for? Why is he killing women

and marking them with signs? Why is he sending letters?

He is not doing that just for the sake of it.

Of course, he doesn't.

Maybe he heard some voice. What is most probable,

he was beaten up and closed in a ladies' room in his childhood.

He has been hating women since then.

He is expressing himself in this way.

No, there is some logic here. He is not killing home-wives.

What logic do you mean? Do you think that his logic is to kill women

whose behavior he doesn't approve of? No, it's a logic of a madman.

I wish we could catch him and mark him with his own signs.

Serezha! We have loads to do. Anton, it's time for us to go. Come on.

‒ Thank you. ‒ You're welcome.

I read that after cleansing a village or a town in the Medieval Ages

the Pipers erected a stake and hung rats' bodies on it.

‒ Maybe he is doing the same. ‒ What do you mean?

All the Piper's victims were found. Is that so?

Except for Alla Rokunova.

Do you want to say that she is alive?

Let's think again. Zhenya are Oxana, two other girls

from Perigorskiy's agency are alive too. He sent us their photos

to indicate that they would be the next victims.

‒ There was no Alla's photo there. ‒ It means…

Alla must be alive, Serezha!

Tanya, when Stasov brings the papers leave them for me, Hi!

‒ Hello. ‒ How is your head?

‒ It's better. ‒ What are you doing here?

I came to the artist to compose the identikit of the criminal.

‒ Successes? ‒ We don't have any so far.

Work, Anton, it's very important. Very much!

Is Major here?

‒ I remembered! ‒ What?

I remembered! He had a tattoo. I saw it when he snatched me.

What was on the tattoo?

The snakes. A rod with snakes.

Mercury is often portrayed with that sign.

Come into my office.

Come in. Sit down.

Look here. Do you recognize it?

Voytovitch

What about the apples? Did Fedotov find anything out?

Nothing so far.

They checked all the farms and gardens. No results!

The letter we found in Alla Rokunova's pocket didn't yield anything too.

I wasted two days by the phone!

Wait. Did you say "in Alla Rokunova's pocket"?

Yes, I did.

‒ Serega, we're idiots! Do you know that? ‒ Your arguments?

As you remember, Perigorskiy made Alla and Mikaela change places

in the last minute. Therefore, Mikaela could get Alla's costume.

And the letter we found in Alla's pocket could have belonged to…

‒ Mikaela! ‒ Exactly!

Serega, go to the office and call all the numbers on the list again.

Just ask not for Alla but for Mikaela Kostina.

‒ Where are you going? ‒ I'll check one more thing out. Bye.

Mum! Yes, mum. What?

ROOM 4

Will you go to have some coffee with me tonight?

Maybe.

What has happened?

Nurse! It's a draught!

‒ One moment. We'll close the window. ‒ Thank you, honey.

Sorry. Will you help? Please help me.

‒ The balcony's window was broken. ‒ Sure!

The draughts on the entire floor are strong…

‒ Leonid Albertovitch? ‒ Yes?

I got a call from the hospital. Streltsova disappeared.

Streltsova?

Hello.

I see. Send criminalists to Voytovitch's apartment, be quick.

‒ Did you find him? ‒ Not yet. He didn't come home.

He isn't at work. He doesn't answer his phone,

It's all right. We'll find him.

‒ Serega, did you check the fireplace? ‒ Not yet.

Check. Girl, you're the witness, please sit down.

‒ We'll let you go when we can. ‒ Will it take much longer?

This is what we found in his garage.

It's enough to poison a half of the city.

Serega, take the package and move it.

Are you watching his city apartment?

We are, but Voytovitch hasn't come yet.

He must have realized that his girlfriend may report him.

Is he on the run? It's fine, he won't escape.

Find all his contacts. Find out where he might be.

Girl, please sit down! I beg you! Keep seated and don't go.

Guys, keep working. Well… what are you doing here?

Who let you in? Come here! Come up to me!

He said that you permitted it.

Did he also tell you to go to the evidence depositary,

take a gun and shoot yourself? Would you shoot yourself?

‒ I wouldn't. ‒ Stasov, where did you lose your brain?

Get out of here!

Stop!

Give me the photo!

You may be free.

‒ I think I found something. ‒ You did, didn't you?

Damn it!

I see…

What about Rokunova?

‒ I see. Keep us informed. Bye. ‒ Well?

They found photos of the murdered girls in Voytovitch's house.

Voytovitch disappeared. Fedotov is giving his guys a hard time, of course.

They are looking for him.

Zhenya? Do you hear me? Look at me! Do you see me? Do you hear me?

You shall stand up. Can you do it?

You shall stand up and go to the table.

There is a knife on the table. Do you hear me?

Zhenechka… stand up. Look, the table is in front of you.

You must take a knife from it.

Zhenya, come on! Zhenya, you shall stand up! Zhenya, I beg you!

I beg you! Come on! Take a knife from there!

Stretch your arm, Zhenya! Pull! This is it.

Now throw it to me. Come on!

Yes, I'm listening. Yes, this is Ilyushin.

Thank you very much. Thanks. Serega?

I got a call from the Agricultural Academy.

They found another gardening farm that wasn't on our list.

‒ And? ‒ What do you mean – "what"?

We shall ask Fedotov's guys to check it out.

Fedotov and his guys are searching Voytovitch's house. They are too busy.

All right, I'll check it myself.

Makar! I don't think you shall waste your time.

I haven't closed this case. I can't act like this.

Voytovitch's car was found on the border of the Tver Region.

There is a hunting farm close by

that supplies Voytovitch's restaurant with fresh meat.

‒ So what? ‒ What – "what"?

What? Gather our guys and let's go!

Come on. Stand up! Let's go!

Be quiet!

Be careful. Be quiet. Let's go.

I can't do it anymore!

Stand up! Stand up! Come on, I beg you!

Please stand up!

Bastard! You shall be killed! Don't touch me! Don't touch me!

She is in the emergency. Do you think I don't know about it?

You decided to poison rats, didn't you?

Director of Photography – Mayt Myaekivi

Art Director – Svetlana Smirnova

I tried to stop him, but he hit me.

Do you recognize them?

Executive Producer – Philipp Brusnikin

Come on! Be quiet!

Produced by Daria Lavrova

General Producer – Vlad Ryashin

based on the novel of Yelena Mikhalkova "A Pipe of the Pied Piper"

‒ Water! Give me some water! ‒ Can't you see? She is unwell.

I'm thirsty!

Can't you see? She is unwell. Give her some water. Zhenya…

She didn't do anything. It's my fault. I made her do it.

It's not her fault. Give her some water! Please!

Give her a couple of apples; relieve her sufferings!

She'll suffocate first, then get paralyzed. Death will be fast but painless.

Well?

‒ No, no! No! ‒ Why don't you give her an apple?

You're a bastard! A bastard!

I am a bastard, aren't I? She is a rat!

Do you understand? She is a rat!

They do nothing but fornicate, drink and eat!

I want to make the world cleaner and better!

You'll help me with that!

I'll die now! Give me something to drink!

‒ Here you go. She wants it! ‒ No!

She wants it! She does!

‒ No, she doesn't! No! No! ‒ She does!

Any news about Voytovitch?

He came the day before tomorrow drunk.

Only God knows how he managed to drive without any road accident.

God watches over the drunk. When exactly was it?

The neighbors say that he came about 10-11 p.m.

He locked up in his sauna and has been sitting there ever since.

‒ What? For two days? ‒ Yes.

What has he been doing there for two days?

He has been drinking.

The neighbors say that he gets violent when he drinks.

‒ I see. Let's go. ‒ He is sitting in his sauna with a rifle.

Do you think Voytovitch is our Pied Piper?

I don't know, Serega. Let Fedotov work on him. It's his problem.

You and I shall find Alla Rokunova.

There is no evidence that she was at Voytovitch's place.

‒ Maybe she escaped. ‒ I don't think so.

You see, he is hunting them down.

He doesn't leave his work done halfway.

Do you remember that girl Zhenya Streltsova? The one who survived?

She was in the hospital on a drip, and what did he do?

Did he start to look for a new victim? No! He sent us a photo,

as if saying: "Look, here are the next victims".

And he went to the hospital to take Zhenya away.

Do you know what I think?

I pray to God that Voytovitch is the Pied Piper.

Because he is in a cell now.

All right. Let's suppose that it is so.

What does Alla Rokunova have to do with it?

What do you mean — "What does she have to do with it"?

If she escaped, he wouldn't leave her alone. In the best-case scenario,

her photos would be among the photos of the rest of the girls.

In the worst-case scenario, we would have found her body.

‒ Serega? She is with him. ‒ The rats' queen?

Is Alla Rokunova the rats' queen?

He needs communication.

He needs somebody to understand and to support him.

A person whom he could trust.

Exactly! By the way, did you check the phone list

concerning Mikaela Kostina?

I haven't gotten to the end of it yet.

Serezha! Get down to work! I'll go to the unlisted gardening farm.

Call me on my mobile in case of need.

Yes. Osya? Let's eat first.

Stasov? Call his girlfriend and summon her.

I want to ask her a couple of questions.

No! Nobody dares call my girl instead of me! Say that to him!

I'll tear his head off and boil it, do you get it?

Call doctors too. Let them bring him to his senses.

Look, you're a clever man, aren't you?

Explain to me how it can be so! Why is she treating me like that?

I… I love her. I've been doing everything for her sake!

She doesn't care, though. I came to talk but she…

She drove me away…

Hi, Criminal News! Did you come on business?

Yes, on business. Fedotov drove me away yesterday.

It's good that he didn't break my camera.

Do you know if they found anything in Voytovitch's house?

You'd better asked Fedotov. You must understand

that we don't have a right to disclose such information.

I understand but… The chief editor was waiting for my article

‒ and I failed to submit it. ‒ My sympathies. How is your head?

‒ Thanks. It's better. ‒ Shall I give you a lift?

‒ Where are you going? ‒ To check one gardening farm out.

‒ What is there? ‒ Nothing special. Apples.

May I go with you? I failed to write an article about Voytovitch.

Maybe I'll be able to make a few pictures there.

All right, let's go.

The psycho-neurological clinic no 8, I'm listening.

Hello. I'm calling on request of Mikaela Kostina.

Did you ask her to contact you?

Kostina? One moment.

Boris Arkadyevitch was looking for her.

Please wait on the line. I'll call him in a moment.

"I went to the hospital to talk to Oxana. I tried to call her; "

I wanted to talk, but she didn't answer. Igor told me…

‒ Perigorskiy? ‒ Yes.

Igor Perigorskiy told me that she went to the hospital.

Where were you on June 28 from midnight up to 5 a.m.?

I was at work. About 20 people may confirm it.

It's weird. Your colleagues testified that you weren't seen

in the kitchen from 12.30 up to 3 p.m.

Look, I didn't kill anybody! Please understand!

I understand. Just remember where you were and what you were doing.

I don't remember. If I knew that it would happen like this,

I would spend the entire night in the kitchen!

All right. How did these photos find way into your home?

I'd like to know it myself.

What about the rat poison that you stored on the industrial scale?

My friend from the sanitary service gave it to me.

He disinfested the cellar in my restaurant.

Your girlfriend testified that you treated her cruelly.

Look, I understand. I got carried away. But she liked it!

Do people get into prison for role-plays now?

Does the law prohibit it?

No. The law prohibits killing women, though. This is what it prohibits.

Wait here.

Granny? Granny? Where is the gardening farm?

The one where antonovka apples are grown?

The farm? It's further down that side.

‒ There is nothing there, though. ‒ Why is that?

That's why. It was sold three years ago.

Nobody has ever been there since then. It was kept in good order before.

A ward always lived there. Crazy Luska, for example.

She was a real nutcase. She was hearing voices all the time.

However, she was guarding the farm responsibly

until she was sent to a mental clinic. I remember that she had kids.

A boy and a girl. I don't remember the boy's name.

The girl was called Mikaela.

‒ What? ‒ Mikaela.

My mum felt sorry for them. They always ran around hungry

and in ragged clothes. She gave them our old clothes.

She fed them. Will you buy the apples? Where are you going?

‒ Come in. ‒ Thanks.

You know, I was trying contacting Mikaela regarding her brother...

Stop. As far as I know, Mikaela's brother died.

Your information is wrong. He is alive although sick.

‒ He has been living here up to recently. ‒ Is he your patient?

He has a hereditary mental illness. His mother was very sick.

When they were little, their mother decided that her husband

was an Antichrist and left him with the children.

Did her Antichrist of a husband simply give the kids away to her?

As far as I understood, she didn't ask him.

She took them to some faraway village, kept them locked and hungry.

She used to lock them in a shed for days. Let's sit down.

The father tried to find them but in vain.

After their mother attacked one of the locals with an axe,

she was sent to a mental clinic where she spent the rest of her life.

Were the kids sent to an orphanage?

They spent some time in the orphanage.

Then their father found them and took them home.

Of course, after living with a sick mother

they were not in their sound minds themselves.

However, he cared about them as hard as he could

and hoped that they would recover.

His hopes were vain, weren't they?

He succeeded with the girl but not with the boy, alas.

In school, he was diagnosed with teenage schizophrenia.

This form of illness may disappear entirely with age

or develop into a full-blown mental disease. When he was 19,

a relapse happened. It is usually a result of some stress.

‒ Mikaela brought him to us. ‒ On her own?

Didn't she need a letter of referral from a doctor or something like that?

Don't be shy. It'll stay between us.

I… You see, she dated a man to whom I was indebted.

I understand. How long did he stay here?

He has stayed with us for almost seven years.

We treated him with medicines. He was receiving full care.

His illness was serious. However, his state was stable.

‒ Did his state change? ‒ At first, everything was fine.

However, six months ago he disappeared.

That is the reason I was trying to contact Mikaela.

It must be here.

Damn it! No connection. Check your phone.

Nothing.

Listen to me, Anton. Go to the village and find a police officer.

Let him contact Fedotov and ask to send people here.

‒ What about you? ‒ I'll look around.

‒ What if he is there? ‒ Anton, go!

No. I'll go with you.

If you want to help, go to the village and find a police officer.

Come on!

Take it. Come on.

Bend over and pour water. Good…

This is his medical file.

His notes and drawings…

"These beasts are clever and playful but evil;"

they bring plague and filth infesting everything.

A rat catcher who is delivering people from that plague is blessed.

He is working amidst filth and waste…"

He was possessed by this idea of a rat catcher.

Mikaela told me that their father liked to read that story to them

before going to bed. Her brotherd got fixed on this idea.

Later, when his illness progressed, he came to identify himself

with the Pied Piper. That's how his obsession was formed.

‒ What obsession? ‒ The wish to clean the world from rats.

The worse rats are those in the human form, aren't they?

He believed that in the human world rats are women.

He considered women filthy, lecherous, spreading diseases,

deception and sorrow, lying and sly beasts.

Be quiet. Be quiet. Don't be scared.

I came to help. Is he here?

Isn't he here? Alla?

There were no fingerprints on the photos found in Voytovitch's apartment,

including his own fingerprints.

What about the blood in his home?

It's animal's blood. Hello. Most likely a pig's.

Do you know what I'm thinking about?

Maybe somebody planted those photos. Why not?

The private detectives got an envelope too.

‒ The goal? ‒ Well…

Do you want to say that somebody is trying to divert our attention?

‒ Yes. ‒ Who could have planted the photos?

There is a camera by the entrance to the house.

The village is guarded. Nobody except for us entered the house.

Did you leave the photos of the dead girls there?

Of course, I did it.

You didn't do it and I didn't do it. Who left the photos? The experts?

There was nobody in the house except for us. How is your eye?

It's fine.

There was one more guy there… that journalist from the Criminal News.

He got a blow to his head, and you drove him away.

This is his medical file and his photo.

This is the brother of Mikaela Kostina.

Officer? Connect me to Fedotov!

You disappointed me, Ilyushin! You disappointed me very much!

Why can't you realize that what I'm doing is very important?

Do you think it's easy for me to be here with them? In dirt and blood…

I didn't think that I'd have to kill you.

Everything is fine. Yes. Everybody is alive.

Yes. Yes. This is it. Bye. Yes.

‒ How are you? ‒ Fine.

Makar?

I'll manage, Serega.

‒ How is Makar? ‒ He is fine.

Let's go.

It was here.

Stasov, the cellar! Come with me!

The Pied Piper managed to escape before we came.

He left his car in the industrial zone near the highway to Yaroslavl.

According to the volumes of blood that we found in the car

and in the house, he was seriously wounded.

I hope he'll show up looking for medical help.

‒ Or we'll find his body. ‒ It's possible too.

‒ Give my tea back! ‒ Sorry.

In any case, Rokunova shall be guarded.

It's better for her not to stay in Moscow.

Do you have a place where we could take her?

Serega?

No, no, Makar. Don't even think about it. Stop it!

‒ I think we do. ‒ Makar!

Your mum is incredible. She is feeding me with fruits

and is trying to pair me up with a cardiology department patient.

‒ You're done. ‒ I got it.

How are you?

I'm fine. I'm still sleeping with the lights on, though.

I take some sedatives. I meet with a psychologist. By the way,

he is much nicer than that guy from the cardiology department

‒ whom your mum likes. ‒ What does the psychologist say?

He says that I am suffering from post-traumatic shock.

However, my psychic is strong and I'll recover quickly.

If I had a chance, I'd shoot that bastard to death.

However, I'd aim at the head this time.

In a garden by the house where he kept the girls

our criminalists found the remains of one more woman.

We managed to identify her. Litmanovitch Svetlana…

‒ Bon appetite! ‒ Thanks!

She worked for the same modelling agency as Kostina.

Kostina's bother courted Litmanovitch but she rejected him.

In some time after that, Litmanovitch disappeared.

Around the time when Litmanovitch disappeared

Kostina brought her brother to a psychiatric clinic.

This is what I meant.

It lacks salt.

How did it happen that he was alive?

The bullet must have gone through.

No, I didn't mean that. You checked the papers

and found out that he was dead, didn't you?

Yes. This is right. We checked it.

Mikaela found out that her brother killed Svetlana Litmanovitch…

…the first victim. So, she did everything to lock her brother up

in a psychiatric clinic…

‒ as an unidentified person. ‒ I got you.

It happens when an ambulance finds a person in the street,

and he doesn't remember his name and has no papers.

Sometimes people are found or remember who they are.

Sometimes they remain unidentified for years.

He lived under no name too.

Great! Physical exercises are better than any sedatives!

Alla? Why did you run away from the party?

Do you mean the show?

I saw Titov and got scared.

‒ I witnessed their talk… ‒ Are you crazy?

…regarding drugs and decided that he came after me.

After the show, I went to the dressing room and found Mika.

I saw that I wouldn't be able to help her.

I had to run away.

‒ Another round? ‒ No.

When Anton Kostin escaped from the clinic…

…the doctor tried to contact Mikaela. He even wrote a letter to her.

Yes, you said so.

Yes. When Mikaela read a letter, she got very scared.

This is true. She must have been very scared.

Right. Sonya's body was already found.

She decided to find her brother. That's why she went

to their old house where they lived with their mother.

The apples both Mikaela and Zhenya were poisoned with

‒ came from that house. ‒ I got it! Now I understand!

You do, don't you? It was a typical rat's trap.

A rat's trap! Exactly!

I am not sure that he wanted to kill her. I think it was an accident.

She ate a couple of apples and died in a few hours.

Zhenya was luckier.

When will they discharge you?

They promise to discharge me in two weeks.

Will you return to work?

Yes. I'll undergo a detoxication treatment and rehabilitation.

Life without drugs and so on?

The drug abuse expert is very good here.

‒ How old is he? ‒ Oxana! I didn't mean that! I don't know.

About 27. He looks like Jude Law, so he is not my type.

Of course, I'll come back… if Perigorskiy takes me back.

Of course, he will. He called and sent you hellos.

He said that he would come when he finds time.

It's the High Fashion Week, so he is running around like mad.

Don't lose your chance!

‒ Ksyu, thank you for coming. Really! ‒ Recover!

By the way, Anton Kostin came to the show to talk to his sister.

Did he want to make a rats' queen out of her?

‒ Yes. ‒ "To talk"!

Something like that. Blood is not water, after all…

Besides, she has already helped him before.

She didn't report him to the police when he committed his first crime.

When she died, he decided to find a new assistant. What a bastard!

Yes, Alla Rokunova. While Alla was sitting in the cellar,

the Pied Piper was trying to show us what he was doing.

‒ How terrible! ‒ He was planting bodies…

…bringing letters to our doors. Nika! Marry me!

Serezha!

Sorry. You know… No… I meant… Mikaela was late for the show.

Alla Rokunova replaced her. Alla put her clothes on.

The letter was in Alla Rokunova's shorts that belonged to Mikaela.

This is it. But first we thought…

‒ He injected apples with the rat's poison. ‒ I know.

Then he put them into boxes and took away somewhere.

Alla, calm down. He is being looked for. It is the end of it.

Where are these boxes, Makar?

I don't get it. Why do you care about those boxes?

‒ Did you find the boxes? ‒ I don't know. Why are you asking?

Did you read that book? The legend about the Pied Piper?

‒ I think I learnt it by heart. ‒ Then think.

The Pied Piper came to save the city from rats.

He asked for a reward for that. However, the city residents cheated on him

and drove him away. Then he lured the children out of the city.

He wanted their parents to realize that they were wrong

not to appreciate what he had done for them.

And?

That bastard thinks that he is right. He is a man with a mission.

He wanted to get his reward. However, he was nearly shot

and is now wanted by the police. I think we'll seek to revenge.

Maybe he'll start killing children, I don't know.

Ksyusha?

‒ Shall we talk? ‒ Let's talk.

If you don't like role-plays, why did you do them with me?

What did you need all those black latex panties for?

‒ I thought you liked that. ‒ Were you doing it for me?

Do you remember how we got acquainted?

I think we met at some party.

It was a party with a special theme. You were all covered in latex.

You had a stick in your hands and you hit me on my ass

‒ instead of saying "hello". ‒ So, you decided that…

Why – "decided"? I made enquiries about you.

I was told that you loved role-plays… the crueler, the better.

Who told you so?

Your colleague. The one who died. Mikaela.

Kostina? She is a fool! One shall not say bad things

about the dead, but… didn't she have enough men of her own?

And you… you overdid it.

"The crueler, the better"…

I was just afraid to lose you. I wanted to be with you.

If I had to jump in the street in a Christmas bunny's costume, I'd do it.

I don't need you to be a bunny.

We're idiots! I was doing it to please you too.

‒ Let's try it the other way. ‒ All right.

Give me your hand.

‒ Here you go. ‒ A bit lower.

Wait. I can't see anything. Now I can!

Wait. I want to see it too. Right.

‒ What shall I do next? ‒ Next? Give me your leg.

‒ OK. ‒ Now wait…

Come on!

I'm not so flexible! Right… ‒ Wait. I have leg crumbs.

Come on, come on. Wait! I like it this way.

‒ Wait. Don't you hurry! ‒ Come on!

Can you explain how they found out about it?

"Our sources inform that Rokunova, the last victim of the Pied Piper

who managed to stay alive, is now in a sanatorium near Moscow."

They are working fast! Wait!

Do they still have no information about the Piped Piper?

None. If he is alive, he'll now know where to look for her.

He'll want to find her for she was meant to become his rats' queen.

She betrayed him and has to be punished.

This is why she shall move to a different place.

Are you crazy?

Mika!

I lied to you yesterday.

‒ I'm sorry. ‒ I know.

Vika!

Don't touch me!

Water!

Did you really think that you could run away from me?

I trusted you.

And you wanted to kill me.

You can't kill me while I'm doing what I have to do.

Come to me.

Come to me. Come! We shall finish what we started.

You'll help me.

Come and lie down.

Be quiet, be quiet…

Is he here? It's all right. Everything will be fine.

Get back, faster!

On the floor!

‒ Don't move! ‒ On the floor, I told you!

Faster! Throw the gun on the floor, now!

‒ Calm down, calm down! ‒ On the floor! On the floor!

Throw the gun on the floor!

On the floor, Sergeant! On the floor!

To the sofa! On the floor! Hands behind your head!

Be quiet! Be quiet! Calm down!

Shut up! Faster!

Anton, calm down. Let's talk! Don't do anything silly.

‒ Shut up! ‒ Don't do anything silly!

Anton, stop it! You'll write an exciting article!

Shut up!

Alla!

A serial killer Anton Stoyanovskiy aka the Pied Piper

resisted during his arrest and was killed by the police officers.

This is all. Thank you.

Major Fedotov, just one more question… tell me, please…

We found the invoices. You were right regarding the apples.

He sent them to the orphanages. As charity help.

‒ Thanks God, nobody was hurt. ‒ What a bastard!

Alla, thank you.

You did well.

‒ Makar, sonny! How great! ‒ What is great, mum?

‒ You're going to Moscow, aren't you? ‒ I am.

Great. Will you give Nadenka a lift? She needs to go to the city

but the electric train will only arrive in an hour.

It's all right. I may wait for the electric train.

Don't talk nonsense!

‒ Nadezhda? ‒ Yes?

‒ Let's go. ‒ Thank you!

Good-bye!

‒ Lyudmila Ivanovna? Hello! – Hello.

Your mum said that you're good with appliances.

Mum exaggerated.

My bread-maker is broken. I'm for healthy food and bake bread myself.

Either with bran or with spelt. Do you like bread with spelt?

‒ I don't know. I've never tried it. ‒ You shall try it!

"I'm sure you'll like it! Let's do it this way – we'll drop in to me; "

you'll repair the bread-maker and I'll treat you to great vegan cutlets…

as a sign of gratitude for giving me a lift.

It's all right. It's on my way.

Yes, your mum warned me that you are very modest

and will be refusing my offers. Look, I prohibit you to be shy!

We'll go to my place, and I'll cook a dinner for you.

Sorry.

Yes. Ilyushin is listening.

What, so urgently? In an hour?

All right, I'm coming.

I'm sorry but the bread-with-spelt-dinner is cancelled.

How to Make Yourself Throw Up Easily and Quickly

Note: Inducing vomiting is not recommended for pregnant or

breastfeeding women as well as children under 12 years of age.

Also, it is not recommended as a mechanism for weight loss.

vomiting as first aid for toxic substance.

Throwing up is a natural mechanism that should be practiced as a last

resort and only after consulting your doctor.

Here are some of the effective methods to make you throw up.

#1.

Use Your Fingers

You can use your fingers to activate the bodys natural gag reflex,

which will make you throw up easily.

Choose where youre going to vomit and sit firmly in a comfortable

position with your head pointing downward to prevent choking.

Insert your clean and well-washed index and middle fingers into your mouth.

Press your fingertips downward to induce vomiting.

Soon you will start getting stomach cramps.

Remove your fingers and allow the stomach contents to come out.

After vomiting, rinse your mouth with water and also wash your hands.

Note: Do not use any hard objects like sticks or spoons to induce vomiting.

#2.

The Toothbrush Trick

The toothbrush trick also uses the gag reflex to induce vomiting.

Moisten a soft-bristled toothbrush.

Gently rub the bristles on the back of the tongue to stimulate the gag reflex.

Do this several times until you feel the need to vomit.

After vomiting, make sure to rinse your mouth thoroughly.

#3.

Mustard Water

Mustard water is another option that can make you throw up quickly.

Add 1 tablespoon of mustard sauce or paste to a glass of warm water.

Stir thoroughly, then drink the solution in a single gulp.

Wait 20 to 30 minutes for the solution to work and induce vomiting.

#4.

Apple Cider Vinegar

If you suspect of eating some rotten food that can cause food poisoning,

apple cider vinegar is a good remedy to try at home.

Consume 1 to 2 tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar.

The strong odor and taste of it will lead to instant queasiness and vomiting.

#5.

Warm Salt-Water Solution

Salt and water, two ingredients that you can find readily at home,

can help induce vomiting if you suspect you ate something toxic or poisonous.

Add 3 teaspoons of table salt or rock salt to a glass of lukewarm water.

Stir thoroughly and sip the solution slowly.

You do not need to drink the solution completely.

Just drink till you feel queasy.

The extreme salty taste will force you to throw up immediately.

Note: When following this remedy, it is important to keep in mind

your salt intake.

It is not recommended for those who are on a sodium restricted diet.

#6.

Sensory Stimulation

The sensory stimulation of the human body reacts to different situations in different

ways.

Even exposing yourself to unpleasant smells,

such as rotten fruits or vegetables, can also make you throw up very quickly.

It is not necessary that sensory stimulation always work,

but there is nothing wrong in giving it a try at least.

#7.

Spin Around

The act of spinning can also make you very dizzy and make you vomit

the contents of your stomach fairly quickly.

Sit calmly in a chair that spins.

Slowly start the spinning motion and gradually increase the speed.

Spin around until you feel dizzy, which induces vomiting.

Some Additional Tips

Drinking 1 tablespoon of castor oil mixed in a glass of orange juice

or lukewarm water may also help induce vomiting.

Always keep your head facing downward while vomiting.

Any hair or clothing should be kept away from the mouth.

Try to vomit into a bucket or a toilet to remove the waste promptly.

After 1 to 2 hours of throwing up, try to eat soup or warm broth

to get proper nutrients and help your body recover.

Do not brush your teeth for about 30 minutes after you throw up.

Make sure to wash your hands and face thoroughly.

Drink herbal teas to improve your digestion and protect your digestive tract.

Never self-induce vomiting for the purpose of weight loss or purging.

This can be really dangerous for your health.

Star Media presents

– Do you want us to find your niece? – Yes, I do.

Do you recognize this girl?

This is Sonya. She worked for my agency.

Are you crazy?

Director of Photography – Mayt Myaekivi

Art Director – Svetlana Smirnova

Some more vodka.

Music by Alexei Chintsov

Vika?

Vika? Vika?

Executive Producer – Philipp Brusnikin

Produced by Daria Lavrova

General Producer – Vlad Ryashin

based on the novel of Yelena Mikhalkova "A Pipe of the Pied Piper"

Who is here?

Is there somebody here?

Who are you?

I can hear you.

Did you see this girl?

And now?

There was one girl like her here yesterday.

Good.

However, that girl had short hair.

Do you remember who she came with?

You're an extortioner!

She came alone but she left with one of our clients.

She is a regular customer.

– Where does that regular customer live? – Well, if you…

My patience has its limits. Who did she leave with, I ask you!

You… I don't know. I called a taxi. You may ask the dispatcher.

– What taxi service? – "Amigo".

– Sergey? – Yes.

– By the way… – Oh, damn it!

– Did you give the phone back? – What phone?

Give me the phone, I tell you!

The phone of the girl that is lying under your bar.

Here it is.

That's better. I'll give it back to her when I see her.

I know that you have answered this question many times, but still…

– When did you go for a walk? – We always leave at 6.

– At 6? – Yes, at six.

– Hi. – We're walking slowly…

I beg your pardon. All the traces are trampled down by the locals.

Did you find at least something?

The experts are still hoping to find something.

It would be good. Take this.

What a careful guy! He doesn't leave traces.

Did you identify the victim?

– Yes. Geni… Genis Viktoriya Eduardovna. – Say it once more.

Genis Viktoriya Eduardovna, born 1991.

She lived nearly, in a cottage town "Zhuravly".

I think we shall go there.

Look, it's open.

– Go there, and I'll check the house. – OK.

Hosts, is anybody home?

What do you have, Serega?

Yes. I believe it's blood.

It looks like somebody was dragged here.

– I see. Did you check that side? – No.

Serega, I think it's Alla Rokunova's clothes.

It means she was here.

I can't decipher it. It's some phone number…

We shall meet.

Let's go, be quick!

Stop!

Damn it!

Go out!

Send the criminalists. Find a free brigade. I need them now

and not in the evening. What about the witnesses?

We interrogated the witnesses. Nobody knows anything.

They say in her office that she cancelled a meeting

because a disinfestation team was to come to poison rats.

Neither the sanitary service nor the management

of the cottage town has ever heard of the rats.

You shall put ice on it.

Shut up, Babkin! If you had told me about the possible whereabouts

of Rokunova, her friend would have still been alive!

Listen, Major! We found out her possible whereabouts

just three hours ago! Look!

What is it?

A gesture of good will. We found it in Rokunova's shorts.

Don't think that I'll let you go out of gratitude. Don't cherish vain hopes!

We'll go to the prosecutor's office. Follow me.

Infliction of bodily harm of medium gravity to a police officer on duty.

Plus, resistance on detention. A break into a stranger house and...

Serega, don't go on. This is enough to lose our license.

Plus, we'll be charged with administrative offences

in the best-case scenario. Fedotov can't solve the crime

and is venting his anger on us.

What do you have on Rokunova?

Is it an interrogation or are we talking without a protocol?

Let's consider it to be the Potsdam Peace Conference. Sign here.

– Will you let us go? – Consider it a gesture of good will.

– Why is that? – You're looking for Rokunova, aren't you?

I'll let you go and you'll find her for me. I have three victims.

Alla Rokumova is connected with all the murders.

– Is it a series, then? – Yes, it is. It's a crime in itself,

plus all these magic signs and other nonsense…

Did you find out what sign means?

It's a magic star. It protects from the Devil.

The main thing is the hysteria in the mass media.

Occult murders, Satanists etc. However, the advocates of morality

almost made a hero out of that Ripper.

All the victims are lonely, unmarried and often visitors of the bars.

"Don't put a mini on, and you won't be raped?", right?

The worst thing is that the murderer may perceive it as a sign of approval.

Is it the reason why the case will be under the control of the prosecutor?

I'm being pressed from all sides. One step here or there,

and I'll lose my epaulets. Your hands are free. Look for Rokunova.

Maybe we'll find the killer through her.

This is what we wanted…

A trainee from the Criminal News!

Hello.

Hello. I'm Anton Stoyanovskiy. We talked at the party yesterday.

I remember.

Did you come to the prosecutor's office because of the case of murders of women?

Anton, we came both to the party and to the prosecutor's office

to get acquainted with the girls.

I beg your pardon, but we're short of time.

Did you know that the signs he left on their bodies

were drawn on the sheds in the Medieval Ages

to guard them against the rats?

– You didn't know, did you? – What do the rats have to do with it?

Vika Genis, the victim that stayed at home alone…

Yes, because somebody was to come to poison the rats.

Right. So, what is there about the signs?

Let's first find out how you got to know about the signs.

– I saw the body. – What?

I know one stretcher-bearer at the morgue. He showed it to me for 1,500.

Cool. And we're wondering how the information leaks out!

Let's be more exact. What about those signs?

– They were used to scare off rats. – Be more exact.

I'm being late for the prosecutor's office.

What a bastard!

In the Medieval times, the rats were considered

the emissaries of the Satan. To ward them off,

different signs and spells were used. Look!

This is an engraving of the 14th century. It depicts a rat catcher.

Your magic star is in the center of the circle.

There were rat catchers in Old Russia too. There was one example…

What is it?

It's the rats' queen. It's a cruel and dark entity

that possesses the mysteries of the human mind.

It may change its appearance and transform in a person

with arms and legs, in clothes and with a face resembling a human face.

When the queen assumes the aspect of a person, you'll talk to her

without knowing who she is. If you manage to catch the rats' queen,

– she'll fulfil her host's wishes. – Any wishes?

According to the legend – yes. The best remedy against rats is a cat.

Only a rats' queen is better that a cat.

It's a large, specially trained rat who kills her own kind.

I beg your pardon. Ilyushin is listening.

OK, I'm coming. I'm sorry, we have to go.

Thank you, this is enough. May I take these materials?

Yes, sure. If you need something else, I'll be glad to help you.

– Thank you. – Thanks.

– I'll go to Perigorskiy. – What for?

He has the photos from the show. I want to look at them.

Maybe I'll notice something. And you shall work on the phone number.

– What number? – What do you mean – "what number"?

The one we found in Alla Rokunova's letter.

Wait. There are only five digits there!

Serezha, think of something. Let's go, I'll see you off.

Right. I read of an interesting case from the 16th century.

A miller from Danderbello…

Who is here?

Who is here?

Do you hear me?

What is it?

Where are you going?

Hello. Can I talk to Alla Viktorovna Rokunova? Ro-ku-no-va.

No? Thanks. Sorry.

Ro-ku-no-va. Alla Viktorovna. No? Thank you. Sorry.

Wait, Osya, don't whine.

Hello? Do you know Rokunova Alla Viktorovna?

No, you don't? I beg your pardon.

Well…

Osya, what's the matter?

Why are you keeping silence? Please answer why I'm here. Let me out!

God, why am I here? Do you hear me? Are you deaf? Come back!

– Right. Do you have a scheme of the place? – Yes, of course.

– Here you go. A pool and a tent. – Thanks. I got you.

I see. A pool, a tent…

If Alla is looking this way…

Do you have photos taken from a different spot?

They are all in this file. Look there!

Help!

Come here, come here! Calm down!

Well, well… so, if we…

Osya! Osya! Girl, I beg your pardon. This is my dog!

Are you serious?

– Nika! – Nika.

What are you doing here?

– Hello. – Hello.

– I was going to your place. – To my place? How cool! I mean… I…

A veterinary I know leaves nearby. I buy a medicine for Vesta from him.

You are working close by, aren't you?

– Yes, close by. He is glad to see you! – Yes. I can see that. And not only he.

Me? Yes, I'm very glad too. Yes.

– Well… – Yes.

Are you free now?

I haven't been married for 20 years.

– It's broken. – One moment. One moment. Here we go…

Let's go somewhere. It's great. Thank you.

Here we go. Well… Shall we go?

Yes. Let's go somewhere. I saw some nice cafes that way.

You did, didn't you? And I…

Did you see them there? – I did.

OK, let's go there. Vesta, come on.

What are you looking at? Is there a squirrel?

– I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I… – Let's go.

You know, it's great that your veterinary lives here.

Yes.

– How are the things going? – Bit by bit.

– Do you want some coffee? – With pleasure.

It's very sweet. I'm not sure whether you will drink it.

– Thank you. – You're welcome.

Well…

Come on, scare them! Come on!

I love chasing pigeons as much as Vesta does. Stop!

Osya! You know, I wanted to call you.

– You did, didn't you? – Yes, I did.

Why didn't you call, then?

One thing led to another and… I'm always busy with something.

It's incredible. You won't believe me but you came to my mind two days ago.

Can you imagine? I wanted to see you and I saw you.

This is what happens! The main thing is to believe.

And it'll come true.

– Oh, sorry. This is Ilyushin. – Yes. Of course.

– Yes, Makar. – Come on, come on!

How are the things going with your phone number?

Many numbers start with these digits. Schools, hospitals,

– a bakery and even a psychiatric clinic. – Come on! Let's run!

However, nobody has ever heard about Alla Rokunova.

How are you doing? Did you find anything?

I didn't. There is a thousand of photos there. Look, Serega.

I was thinking… If you've finished with the list of numbers,

– maybe you shall go to Vishnevka. – Where?

Is it the place where the last body was found? Wait.

Fedotov's people have already interrogated everybody there.

Serega, I understand. However, I need Alla Rokunova.

All right. I'll go there. All right.

– Nika? – Yes?

I'm sorry but I have to go to Vishnevka on business.

You know, I hate it all – these interrogations and questions.

It's all so untimely…

Serezha, you won't believe it again but I live in 15 km from that place.

If you want it, I may go there with you, and then you'll give me a lift home.

Of course. It will be wonderful!

– It will, won't it? – Treat yourself.

– Thank you. They are a bit sour. – I like them, though.

Well? Did you find something?

Maybe. It's enough for today.

Thank you for your help.

– You're welcome. – Good-bye.

I didn't see her. Is that a girl who was found in the woods?

– No, it's another one. – Was she murdered too?

I hope that she wasn't.

God forbid! Terrible things are happening. Our village is old.

We all know each other. It has always been quiet there.

We don't even close the doors.

Only one crime happened during all this time.

In winter, trumps broke into Kudasov's summer cottage.

They drank two bottles of his cognac and stole a barometer.

That was a real event! Everybody was talking about it for six months!

Otherwise, it was quiet. And now… We can't sleep at nights!

– I'm sorry. Sorry! – Go on, work!

– Right. – Sorry. It was my fault.

Did you see any strangers around on that day or before that?

No. I've told so to the police as well as to you.

Were you the one to find the body?

No, that wasn't me, Alexander Romanovitch did.

Here he comes, by the way.

Let's get ready, girls. Why are you sitting here? Dress her!

Stand up and get dressed! Ksyusha?

– What? – What is it?

– Where? – Come here.

Why are you playing around? What is it?

I'm asking you why your neck is covered with bruises.

How will you walk the runway? Who did it to you?

– Nobody. I fell… – You fell! You just fell! Great!

You fell timely and with the right place! When you fall next time,

please make sure it happens after the show, will you?

I'd better changed you right now. Ira! Ira!

– Igor, let me put a necklace on! – Put the necklace on and hurry up!

Was it Voytovitch who left bruises on you?

Yes, it was he. He went out of his mind.

He handcuffed me to the bed last night. I escaped from him naked.

I thought he would kill me.

Damn it! Did you go to the doctor?

Yes. I did. He says that I'll be fine.

Damn it! Answer the phone!

Give me the knife. Step aside.

Deliver this to my place.

Where are the towels?

– Is it Voytovitch? – He keeps calling. He is apologizing.

He cried yesterday saying that it wouldn't happen again.

He didn't cry when he was doing it, did he?

Zhenya, stop! I know it all myself.

– Why don't you leave him, then? – I can't.

We're looking for a girl… a tall and beautiful one. Alla Rokunova.

I don't know her. Is it connected with the murder?

– Possibly. Did you find the body? – Yes, I did. We went out for a walk.

It was half past four in the morning. Few people walk at such time.

There was that man there. Such a weird one. He stood close to me.

I knew at once that he wasn't a local. Had he been a local,

he would have said at least a few words.

I beg your pardon but…

how did you understand that it was a man and not a woman?

Males walk and breathe differently. It was a man.

A young man in his twenties. An unpleasant type.

He might have even been sick. It was a bit scary. Yes, it was.

– Serezha? – Wait.

Lilies of the valley. What a nice aroma! It suits you well.

– Thank you. – Oh, the smell!

What smell?

He strongly smelled of apples. The antonovka apples.

It was so strong as if he was sleeping on a box with the antonovka.

Please!

Stop! Listen!

Tell me, what do you want from me?

Don't go, please!

It belonged to Vika.

I don't want to! Don't do it! No!

What do you need of me? Tell me, why am I here?

Where are you going? Talk to me! I beg you, don't leave me!

Did you manage to find out something concerning the apples?

I went to the Academy named after Timiryazev and talked

to the head of the gardening department.

He marked all the communal gardens where such apples are grown

around the place where the body had been found.

We should check them out.

Come on, come on.

Thank you. Thank you for giving me a lift.

You're welcome.

– The weather changed for the worse. – Yes.

– Have a nice day. – Nika, thank you.

I…

– What do you like – tea or coffee? – Coffee.

Sorry. It's somewhere here… here…

– It is vibrating above my ear. – Yes.

Ilyushin, it's bad timing. What?

All right, I'll come.

– Well… you know… – I'll call you.

It was Ilyushin.

– I'll call. – Nika!

A report of the criminalist. No traces. No strange fibers.

The pages seem to have been copied from a book

printed in the last century.

– It's some legend. – A legend about the Pied Piper.

A translation from the German dated 1902. I checked it.

It was copied on a Xerox.

The highlighted fragments are marked with a marker.

Such markers may be bought in any stationary store or a kiosk.

There is nothing special about the envelop too.

My boys are now working on the photos, but there are no clues so far.

Why am I not surprised?

The murderer must have brought the envelope himself.

What did that rat catcher want to say or to prove?

He is looking for approval. He wants people to understand him.

Maybe even to award him. May I take it away?

Ask you guys to check the places marked on the map.

Maybe he lives at one of them.

Let me look.

Thanks.

Now what?

Nothing, Serega. Our task is to look for Alla Rokunova.

So, we'll go on looking for her.

Hold this. Titov. He is a friend of one girl from Perigorskiy's agency.

He is a regular customer of the same places as Pryakhin, Alla's lover.

It means Rokunova knew him before she started working for Perigorskiy?

Maybe she got scared on seeing him at the show.

This is Titov's address and the list of places where he might be.

Go and check it out.

It's time to work, Osya!

Well… what shall I do? I'll try to talk to Titov's girlfriend.

Don't press too hard on her.

Yes, I'm listening. Good evening.

Yes, I know.

In an hour?

Of course, I'm home. All right.

How many of you will come? Yes, I'll be waiting.

Who called?

It concerns Alla Rokunova.

She is wanted by the police, as I told you.

Where are you going? Do you want an apple?

You forgot something.

Go.

– Are you mocking at me? – This is enough.

OK.

Stas, this is too little.

Do you want to die of an overdose?

What overdose? You're so funny…

Who called?

It concerns Alla Rokunova, I told you! Stas, what's the matter?

Who called?

Stas, this is enough!

Do you like them?

Titov met with a Novikov in the club.

The drug control department has been watching him for long.

What is interesting – Pryakhin with whom Alla Rokunova

used to live was detained for the drugs. Wait, wait.

Shtir and Titov are going to leave somewhere. I'll tail them. Bye.

Zhenya! Zhenya! Zhenya!

Damn it! Hold on. Hold on.

What?

It seems to me that somebody is on our tail.

I can see him. Do you think he is after us?

Let's check it out.

Stop!

Calm down, calm down…

– Hands up! Don't move! Keep calm! – Guys, stop it!

Who sent you?

Guys, I'm a private detective! My ID is in my pocket.

– Are you a private detective? – I am.

Are you working for Siviy?

I don't know a Siviy! Stop it, guys!

– Who is your client? – Stepanenko Andrei.

Who is he? A police officer or a dealer?

He works for a bank as a head of the loan department.

He thinks that his wife is your lover. Guys!

Had I known that I would have such problems,

I would have refused to work on the order!

I don't know any Stepanenko's wife! If I see you once more,

– I'll kill you! Do you get it? – I get it. Guys, I just…

Let's get out of here.

– Well? – Streltsova is in the emergency.

The doctor said that she would live. She asked you to sign this.

What has happened to her?

Poisoning. Guess what poisoned her!

Is it the same toxin that poisoned the others?

I see.

– Will you give me the file? – Take it.

– Do you want a lift? – No, I'll walk. Thank you.

As you wish.

The Ratcatcher's Flute. Episode 1. Russian TV Series. English Subtitles. StarMediaEN - Duration: 44:34.

Star Media presents

You're good. A professional! Come here!

‒ I won't go to you. ‒  Come on, sit down. Hi.

Hi, hi. How nice!

Here you go! Take it.

Is it for me? It's so beautiful!

Yes. It is.

It's great!

It's a unique thing. Nobody has anything like this in Moscow.

‒  Let's drink, honey. ‒  It's super! All right.

Good. Have some more…

Why be shy? It's an ordinary party, nothing serious.

How much do you get in your agency? Here you'll be paid real money.

One night of work – and that will be all. Shall we go?

‒ I don't know… ‒  Come on! Stop it!

‒ May I? ‒  One second.

Titov?

‒ Hi. ‒  Hi, beauty!

 Hello.

Well? Is it your girlfriend? Go outside or have a dance.

‒  Let's go. I'll treat you to something. ‒  Go, go, go!

Bye, bye!

Well?

Do you feel better now? Did he give you this? Did Shtir give it to you?

Zhenya!

Are you out of your mind? What did he offer you?

You must be crazy, Sonya.

Answer my question – what did he offer you?

‒  Nothing! Just to work at a private party. ‒  What private party?

I'm not a 5-year old! I'll sort it out myself!

Do you remember Lika? A blonde who worked for the agency with us?

She was found in the forest after one of Shtir's parties. Do you get it?

Lady? I ordered a taxi half an hour ago. Where is it?

The entrance is not from the lane. I said to come to the second entrance.

An hour? No, I can't wait for an hour. I just can't wait anymore!

Hey! Hey!

Will you give me a lift?

‒  Makar? ‒  Serega, don't answer.

You can't treat your mother like that, Makar.

She'll try bringing me together with her girls again.

I don't want it. I want to have coffee and to work.

Yes, Irina Georgiyevna?

Hello, Serezha? May I talk to Makar?

Makar? Makar is out. Yes. Shall I pass something on to him?

One of my acquaintances will come to you. Her name is Svetlana,

Svetlana Rokunova. She has a niece, Allochka.

I got you. Your acquaintance. Yes.

An acquaintance and her niece.

‒ Is the niece nice? ‒  Yes, she is very nice.

She is a great girl…

Hello?

My acquaintance will come to you. She has a niece, Alla…

Irina Georgiyevna, I can't hear you well.

Something must be wrong with the connection.

There are numerous cuts of different depth on her chest,

that form something like a 5-pointed star.

‒ The cause of death? ‒  Asphyxia.

There are no traces of strangulation on her neck.

This is a toxicology report. Asphyxia was caused by a medicine

that was used as an anti-tuberculosis remedy in the past

and that is now used in veterinary. It's called "miorelaxant".

Large doses cause muscle paralyses and death of suffocation.

 Right.

Svetlana Ivanovna!

Stop it!

Please understand – I just don't have the time.

‒  I'd gladly meet with your niece but… ‒  I'd meet her too. But…

But she disappeared! She disappeared!

‒  I beg your pardon. ‒  What do you mean?

I took a convenient opportunity to come to Moscow. I came to visit Alla.

I brought some jam, gooseberry jam. She loves this jam.

I came to the university campus, but she wasn't there.

She was expelled a month after he had entered the institute.

Your mother said that you were an investigator.

‒  Do you want us to find your niece? ‒  Yes, I do.

‒ Did you call her? ‒  Her phone is switched off.

I see. Has it ever happened before?

With the phone – yes.

However, she always called me back the very same day.

Did you turn to the police?

It's no use. I went there at once. They said that she was an adult

and could do whatever she wanted to.

Did they accept your request?

They told me to bring it in two days if Alla didn't show up.

However, I don't believe that the police will be looking for her. Will you help me?

‒  We'll try. Calm down, drink some coffee… ‒  Thank you…

And describe everything to us once more.

Yes, he wasn't in a hurry. He was acting slowly, methodically,

and according to a plan. He was following…

…he was following some ritual.

He was evidently happy with what he was doing.

I think he is striving for the public admiration.

Did he demonstrate it looking for appreciation and award?

It will be very bad if this information leaks out to the press.

‒ I'm afraid it is inevitable. ‒  I'm afraid so too.

Oh, mum… She landed us a job to be done for free!

Stop it! We don't have much orders and I do feel sorry for that lady.

‒ Her nice is nice indeed. ‒  Don't you feel sorry for me?

I'm like… Captain America! I save the world during the working days

and I have to court mum's proteges on the week-ends.

She thinks I shall get married. Sometimes I think that it's better

to be an orphan. Captain America was an orphan, wasn't he?

No. Superman was, though.

He had a piece of Kryptonite for a mother.

What tough childhood! Let's go. Alla Rokunova, 23 years old.

She came to Moscow, entered an institute and was expelled in a month.

She was lying to her auntie for six months that she was working

in a book store, though she wasn't seen there for long too.

‒ Did I miss something? ‒  You did.

What is it?

According to Alla Rokunova's aunt, she was a clever,

– a kind and a loving girl. – Plus, lying was like breathing to her.

Try to check her through your channels. Take her photo.

Maybe there is something on her in the reports. I'll go to the institute

and find out why she had been expelled.

What's wrong with you? Why are you breathing so heavily?

Look, Andrei! I know that you're very busy

and you can't even answer your phone. In such a case,

I won't bother you anymore! I'll take my things and leave the keys

by the entrance. Don't you dare call me anymore! Find somebody else

who will put up with your escapades!

Someone who will enjoy them more that I do! This is it!

Help! Let me out! Let me out!

Help! Help! Let me out!

‒  Be quiet! Wait… ‒  Help! Help!

Be quiet, please…

‒  Be quiet… ‒  Help!

‒  How are the things going? ‒  Fine.

 Fine?

‒ Yes. They are scared. ‒  What are they saying?

What are they saying? They said that they might do it for a thousand.

‒ Did he say so? ‒  He did.

Look, Andrei… you said that your girlfriend left to party in the city.

 Yes.

‒ Whose car is it? ‒  I don't get it. It's hers.

Hers?

She must have already come back. She must be sleeping.

‒ Don't worry! ‒ "Don't worry…" Come here!

I have 300,000 worth of powder in my car!

And in the boot is the fool who was trying to sell it bypassing us.

You brought him to my place, didn't you?

No, I sent him to a sanatorium for his merits before the motherland!

How did you unstick the plaster, bastard? Talk to us!

Whom did you want to sell the goods?

I didn't want to sell anything to anybody.

Andrei, talk to him. Talk to him!

Well? Will you talk?

You won't. I see.

Are you crazy?

He is keeping silence.

Give me the gun.

Close the gates.

Hello. Will you give me a lift to the center?

OK.

We found her this morning in a dormitory suburb.

Her distinctive marks are similar. Is she your girl?

She resembles her, but it's not her. I don't get it. What does this sign mean?

Who knows? Maybe it's a sign of the Satanists, maybe of somebody else.

The body was mutilated. This star… The girl was stuffed up to her neck.

With drugs?

No. With toxins. They are used in veterinary.

Large doses of it cause death of asphyxia.

‒ I see. Who is working on the case? ‒  Lenya Fedotov. Do you know him?

No, I don't.

‒ Perigorskiy Igor Ivanovitch? ‒  Yes.

I'm Major Fedotov. I'm working on this case. Are you ready?

‒  I am. ‒ Let's go.

‒ Do you recognize this girl? ‒  I do.

Can you describe how you met and when?

Tell me her name and surname. I need it for the protocol.

This is Sonya.

I beg your pardon. Barysheva Sophia Andreyevna,

She used to work for my agency.

Thank you.

‒ Sergeant? ‒ Yes. What?

‒  Let them come. ‒ Come on, girls.

Girls, can you move faster?

Come up here, please.

Calm down, calm down…

Come on, calm down…

Alla was expelled right after she had entered the institute.

I think she wasn't going to study at all. She entered it on a bet.

She made a bet with her father who was an aviation engineer.

He didn't believe that she would enter a physical and mathematical faculty.

‒ Wait. She is an orphan. What father? ‒  I think he is an imaginary hero.

She didn't live in the campus. However, she was going to a dancing studio.

What about that studio?

People there say that she was the best student. Unfortunately, she left.

‒ Where to? ‒ To the Isle of Sakhalin.

He husband was transferred there. He is a submariner, by the way.

I also found out that she was jumping with a parachute,

knew how to cast a spell against bleeding and drank more than any male.

That girl should become a writer. I went to the bookstore

‒ where Alla used to work. ‒  And?

She resigned. The reason was banal.

The pay was too small. Then, she worked in a glamourous restaurant

for a few months.

She got acquainted with a regular customer and went to live with him.

 Who is that client?

A Pryakhin. I asked my guys to check him through the base.

We shall call Sonya's mum.

Igor, call her, please. I don't know what to say to her.

 Of course, we'll call her.

We'll do everything, We'll help with the funerals.

Zhenya…

I understand everything. However, we have an important show tomorrow.

Be it a war or a plague or an Apocalypses – I'm responsible before the client.

Yes, Igor, I understand. Work is work.

It's not just a party. It's a serious event.

The client wants us to do it beautifully. Sonya was to…

Sonya was to open the show. Now there is no Sonya anymore.

‒ What shall we do? ‒  I may open it instead of Sonya.

‒ No doubts about that! ‒  I rehearsed the opening of the show.

Igor made me and Sonya exchange places later.

We won't have to lose time for the preparations.

I don't care whether to be the 1st or the 351st, though.

‒ Maybe you shouldn't participate at all. ‒  Oxana, that's enough.

You'll open the show instead of Sonya. The rest will go out in their order.

I'll have to find one more girl, though.

The question is where I'll find her in one day.

Igor, I don't think it's problematic to find a model in Moscow.

It's not a problem to find a model.

However, I need a model of the highest class.

There are not so many of them.

Take someone from the novices.

Alla?

Pryakhin was detained yesterday. Something connected with the drugs.

What do you have?

I have two invitations to a glamourous party.

It's a demonstration of a new evening gown collection

by designer Anna Franko. The presentation will be done by a modelling agency

with the support of Vadim Voytovitch.  Why would we go there?

It's the agency of Igor Perigorskiy where Alla Rokunova works.

Are you here?

We shall talk. M.

I think it's some nonsense. The house is new. It has just been built.

I went to the cellar and – damn it! There were rats there!

Thanks God, I know of good guys. They disinfested the cellar in my restaurant.

They brought the drugs…

Who is that Perigorskiy's novice? I haven't seen her before.

‒ She is a novice. Do you like her? ‒  No.

‒ Why are you asking, then? ‒  Just for the sale of asking.

Let it be so. All right.

‒ I'm going. See you later at the show! ‒  Yes. Bye.

This is for you.

Zhenya, why are you sleeping? Put the bottle away.

‒  As you say. ‒ Oxana — very good!

Go, go, move it.

‒ Where is Mika? Mika? ‒  She said that she would be late.

‒  Late? ‒  The traffic jams!

 It's the dress rehearsal!

Alla? You'll open the show instead of Mika.

She'll know better than to be late next time!

 I'll go and meet her.

Perigorskiy's agency arranges parties for VIP-clients.

‒ Escort-services? ‒  No.

The girls from the agency aren't nuns, but they're not whores either.

Ilyushin, isn't it easier to answer the phone?

‒ Your mum will start calling me now! ‒  If it's easier for you, answer it!

Yes, Irina Georgiyevna. Yes. Makar is driving.

We're going to a party working on your acquaintance's case.

What? Yes. I'll see to that. Yes. Good-bye.

What will you see to, I wonder?

I'll make sure you're not only working on the case

but on your personal life as well.

She asked me to present you to some nice girl.

A girl of my choice.

‒ Where have you been? ‒  The roads are all blocked.

‒ Perigorskiy is very nervous. ‒  Take this.

They smell so nicely! I buy apples in a supermarket

and they don't smell at all!

I visited my friends at their summer cottage. They gave me a full basket.

Cool! Where did you get this bracelet?

An admirer gave it to me. Let's go!

I think we're not late.

‒  Good evening. – Good evening.

Do you want to get acquainted with her? What will you say?

She is nice. A homely time. Mum would love her.

‒ Thank you, Igor. See you later. ‒  Yes, sure. Come on in.

This is Perigorskiy. Are you Igor Perigorskiy?

‒  Yes, I am. ‒ Good evening.

– Hello. – Good evening.

‒ We'd like to talk to Alla Rokunova. ‒  You know, it's very untimely.

What's your problem? She is dressing up right now.

No, there is no problem. We just wanted to ask her a couple of questions.

Let's do it after the show. It's a real chaos at the moment.

Pasha, see the guests to their places. Watch the show, and then we'll talk.

‒ Thank you. ‒  Thanks.

I beg your pardon. You're Ilyushin, aren't you? I recognized you at once.

You delivered a speech at the round table about private investigations.

‒ Wait. What round table? ‒  At the TV. Don't you remember?

I'm Anton Stoyanovskiy from the Criminal News.

Will you tell me about how your investigation is going?

What investigation?

You're working on a case of a cruel murder of Sophia Barysheva.

The dead girl who used to work for Perigorskiy's modelling agency.

‒ How did you find out about that? ‒  I read about it in the news.

Oh, the news… Anton, don't believe all the news.

We came to the party to get acquainted with the girls –

alive and not dead. Your information is wrong. Good-bye.

Let me do it. You're shaking. Come on.

‒ Did you see Mika's bracelet? ‒  Yes. So what?

It's Sonya's. Shtir gave it to her in the evening she was murdered.

‒ Where did Mika get it? ‒  This is a good question!

Igor, forgive me, please. I was stuck in a traffic jam.

We changed the parts. Alla will open the show.

‒ What do you mean? ‒  You'll go out instead of her.

Igor, we've already rehearsed the opening of the show! I had to open it!

You don't have to do it anymore!

Igor, I was to go out in the finals! She'll spoil the show! Stop it!

‒ We'll discuss it later. Alla? ‒  Change something!

‒ Change your dresses. ‒  Do something, Igor!

Change the dresses and be quick! Are you ready?

‒ Well? ‒  What?

Did you hear what Igor said?

I don't care. I'll be the first, and that's it!

 Shall I call Igor?

Move it! Perigorskiy is already taking pills.

Is everything OK?

OK. Let's do it.

What is going on here?

How did you like the show? I think it was great!

I'd glad for you. You're holding up well,

‒ considering the last developments. ‒  Are you blaming me for something?

I'm financing your business. However, nobody warned me

that I would be investing money into lechery, drugs and filth.

Can you guarantee that tomorrow the girls will be alive

and able to walk the runway? That nobody will murder them?

Their drug-addicted friends, for example.

Look, Vadim, it's not my job to supervise the girls in their free time.

If you have problems with Oxana, if you can't make your woman happy,

it's not my problem, sorry.

Who is Alla Rokunova?

As soon as the show ends, I'll see you to her dressing-room.

‒  Bravo! Bravo! It was incredible! Bravo! ‒  Thank you.

Bravo! It was great!

‒ Hold these! This is for you! ‒ Thank you! How nice!

‒ Thanks! ‒  Bravo!

Mika!

Police? We have a murder.

‒ May I have some vodka? ‒  Of course.

‒ Some more. ‒  Sure.

Do you have scissors?

‒ Scissors? ‒  Yes. Any scissors.

‒ Yes. Here you go. ‒  Where is the toilet?

 There, to the right.

I am telling you. We were looking for Alla Rokunova

on her relative's request. This is it.

– You must be Leonid Fedotov, right? – Yes, I am.

Kostya Baranov praised you greatly. He says that you're a brilliant detective.

– Great. What happened next? ‒  We entered the dressing room.

Alla wasn't there, and Mikaela was already dead.

Very good. You may go. Rokunova is being looked for.

As soon as we find her, I'll inform you. Maybe even right here.

– Good-bye. Say hello to Baranov. ‒  I will.

Some more vodka.

Sure.

‒ May I? ‒  Of course.

Do you want some more? Has something happened?

Look, have you ever felt trapped?

Trapped for good?

You want to get out. You want to get out of the cage where you…

I got acquainted with a man two years ago. He was married.

I was fine with it. I got used to it. Everything was OK.

He said that he wasn't sleeping with his wife.

He said that he only loved me, But…

How could I ever believe in that?

It's not normal!

It's not normal! I'm so young and beautiful and I want to…

He simply threw me out! I don't even know where I'll spend the night!

Let's to my place. Will you? I have a huge house.

I'll give you a toothbrush. You'll sleep and have rest.

‒ Tomorrow you'll decide what to do next. ‒  Thank you!

This is it. Stop drinking. Stand up. Let's go. Be careful and calm down.

Don't forget your things. Come on, let's move it. Go, go, go!

‒  Do you live far away? ‒  No. Bye.

Bye.

Be careful.

Don't worry, I'll pay.

The taxi is there.

Where were you during the fireworks?

I was with the rest of the girls in the lobby-bar.

Mika felt unwell the entire day.

She left right after the show. Zhenya, Stas and I…

Stas Titov? Is he Zhenya's boyfriend?

One may say so. We are friends.

I was by the bar. Then we sat down at the table.

I believe that Oxana was inside, and Zhenya too.

What relations are you in with Oxana Savina?

What does it matter?

We have been dating for about a year. Is it important?

You'd better asked why Mika and Alla argued.

‒ You look great in my T-short. ‒  Thank you very much.

‒ It's all right. Do you want some coffee? ‒  I do.

There is none. We shall buy it.

‒  I may go. ‒  All right.

Are you going to swim? It's cold!

I don't know. I swim every morning.

She has a lacerated wound on her head. She fell and hit her head

on a forged corner of the dressing table. And the most interesting thing.

The blood of the victim is full of…

Let me guess it. Full of toxins as in the previous victim's case.

Exactly.

‒ May I take the report? ‒  Sure. Here you go.

‒ Bye. ‒  Bye.

Igor Ivanovitch, sign here, please.

When may we take the body for the funerals?

Here too. We'll inform the relatives about that.

As far as I know, Mikaela didn't have any relatives.

Her parents died long ago. She had a brother but he perished a few years ago.

You may inform me, and we'll deal with that.

‒ If Alla Rokunova shows up, let me know. ‒  Yes, sure.

The first victim, Sonya was killed on the eve of the show.

Alla Rokunova took her place. Let's go further. Mika.

She quarreled with Alla. Mika died right after the show

and Alla Rokunova disappeared in an unknown direction.

I can't see the logics. If Alla killed Sonya to get her job,

why would she kill for the second time? To lose her job?

She is wanted by the police now. It must be something else here.

Why did she run away, then?

Maybe she saw somebody and got scared.

Maybe she knows the murderer and he is threatening her.

That's why we shall find Alla before him.

Police is looking for her everywhere.

Yes. Right.

Wait. How did she escape?

I think Alla took Mikaela's car keys in the dressing room…

…and drove away before we closed the territory.

That's why Alla Rokunova may be anywhere.

What are you doing? Isn't a desk enough for you?

Stop, Serega! Stop!

What?

‒  She didn't run away. ‒  What do you mean?

Do you remember her aunt telling a story about how Alla

used to hide in a wardrobe and open the window?

She wanted everybody to think that she went to the river with the boys.

And she would spend all that time at home, in the wardrobe.

Do you want to say…

Yes. I think she cheated on everybody this time too.

Why are you staring at me? We have a reason to check it out. Let's go.

Come on.

Wait.

What are you doing?

I used to be an artist and now I'm a designer.

I work through the Internet. It's more convenient.

I don't have to meet with strange people all the time. Pass me the phone.

Yes?

All right, come. Yes, I'm home. Yes.

Pass me the towel.

‒ Has something happened? ‒  They'll disinfest the rats.

Do you have rats?

I don't. There must be some in the village. The rat catcher will come.

Look, Vika…

Yesterday at the bar I told you… All that story is a lie.

I lied to you yesterday.

I'm sorry.

I know. It's OK.

‒ Is it? ‒  It is.

I'll go buy some coffee.

OK. Go straight and to the right, don't turn anywhere.

OK.

Where is the wardrobe where she is hiding this time?

I don't know. Stop! Her phone!

I checked it. It has been switched off.

It's not a problem nowadays. I hope she has a smartphone.

Hackers will help us!

Exactly!

Vika?

Vika! Vika!

Google to start labeling true news "false" and fake news "true" – algorithm assumes official fake ne - Duration: 7:38.

Google to start labeling true news false and fake news true algorithm assumes

official fake news sources always tell the truth

Who could have imagined that one of the largest media companies on the planet begun in

the United States, where freedom of speech and expression is enshrined in our founding

document would become one of the biggest censors since Nazi Brown Shirts roamed Germany

burning books and beating political opponents?

Welcome to Google 2017, where far-Left ideologues who manage the companys media operations

are set to decide what their readers can and cannot see, based solely on political ideology.

As reported by The Guardian, Google which is following Facebooks lead has tweaked

its news-gathering algorithm to weed out so-called fake news that it claims is spreading

misinformation via the Internet:

Google is to start displaying fact-checking labels in its search results to highlight

news and information that has been vetted and show whether it is considered to be true

or false, as part of its efforts to help combat the spread of misinformation and fake news.

The fact-checking feature, which was first introduced to Google News in the UK and US

in October, will now be displayed as an information box in general search results as well as news

search results globally.

How will this work?

According to the report, there will be small segments of information displayed regarding

claims made in certain news reports on particular sites, in addition to so-called fact-checking

of the highlighted claims.

(RELATED: Google, YouTube waging demonetization WAR on alternative media to bankrupt independent

journalism)

In other words, if a Google (or Facebook) editor believes the claims to be false such

as, say, a claim by us that there is no evidence to support the Democratic and establishment

media narrative that Russia hacked the election to help Donald Trump, even if

we offer proof in our reporting that story will be accompanied with a fake news

label.

The next step, mind you, will be out-and-out censorship, along the lines of what CNN host

Don Lemon did last week after the bombshell story broke outing former Obama National Security

Advisor Susan Rice as the one who unmasked Trump campaign and transition team members,

for political purposes.

Because he is an Obama sycophant and because he believes the story to be false and a diversion

from the real story (Trump-Putin collusion which didnt happen), he made the decision

to purposefully ignore it.

Nevertheless, Google and Facebook are defending their decisions to arbitrarily assign fake

news labels to any stories they dont like or dont agree with.

With thousands of new articles published online every minute of every day, the amount

of content confronting people can be overwhelming, said Cong Yu of Google and Justin Kosslyn

from fact-check partner Jigsaw, in a statement.

And unfortunately, not all of it is factual or true, making it hard for people to distinguish

fact from fiction.

(RELATED: Google To Start Flagging Content Found To Be Offensive By Crybully Snowflakes

Who Are Triggered By Reality)

As we make fact checks more visible in search results, we believe people will have

an easier time reviewing and assessing these fact checks, and making their own informed

opinions.

Lets be clear about one thing: There certainly is a fair amount of fake news being published

online, but much of it is coming from the Marxist media establishment that includes

networks like CNN, as well as legacy newspapers like The New York Times and the Washington

Post.

Hillary Clinton win, to fake news reports claiming Russia used hundreds of websites
