Hope.

It's what makes us stronger.

It helps us go through the ordeals

life has prepared for us.

It's what motivates us to not give up.

To fight.

To survive.

This is why I keep on going.

Surviving.

Living.

Run!

After all...

That's what makes me pure.

He is Risen! Join me for Easter services as we celebrate a living faith with Pastor Allen Jackson. - Duration: 1:01.

Hey, it's Pastor Allen and thank you for

giving me just a moment of your time.

This is such a special time of the year.

I wanted to give you an invitation

and really make a request.

Easter is a very important season in our calendar

and a very important part of our own spiritual

growth and development.

It's not a holiday that Pastors dreamt up

so that somebody gets a new dress or a new tie.

The idea of an annual reminder of

God's involvement on our behalf goes

back as far as God having a people for himself.

You know when the Passover was a part of the deliverance from Egypt,

God said to Moses and the Hebrew people

to celebrate on an annual basis.

Don't lose sight of what God has done.

Well, Easter is every bit as valuable for you and me.

Gathering with the people of God,

to remember the redemptive work of Jesus,

adds a momentum to your life and mine.

If you're in Middle Tennessee join us here

on our campus at the church.

If that's not a possibility, find a congregation near you.

Join with a group of people on Easter to celebrate

the fact that Jesus is alive!

God Bless you and Happy Easter!

Joan Nathan's Recipe for Hard-Boiled Eggs with Spinach | The Salt | NPR - Duration: 1:39.

Eggs have a lot of meaning in Judaism.

The roasted egg represents the eternity of life and how life gets renewed every year.

In Eastern Europe, the egg was the first thing that you would eat at the seder.

So the first thing that you would do is you would take all of your eggs and put them in

a pot of water.

Bring it to a boil.

And you just boil it for about half an hour or so.

Once they're boiled, you remove them.

Then you peel them.

This is the hardest part is just peeling.

Then you put the peeled eggs back in the boiling water with oil, about a half a cup,

pepper and salt.

And then you put the onions in.

Re-bring it to a boil and cook it for about 3 hours…

until the eggs turn very creamy.

Then you would put in a pound and a half of spinach in the pot and you cook it down.

When it's all done, you can see the onions the flecks of onions, the olive oil and the

salt and pepper give it flavor.

And then I put them one on a plate with a little bit of spinach

and that's the first thing that we eat for the passover meal.

Cubase 9 for Beginners: The MediaBay - Duration: 4:57.

The media bay is a built-in browser wich organize all files on your computer including the factory

content that comes with Cubase installation.

The Media Bay window is divided into several sections wich you can view and hide by clicking

on the window layout button on the bottom left corner.

The define locations column to the left, allows you to choose wich folders on your hard drive

will be scanned by clicking on one of the checkboxes next to the folder's name.

Immediately after, the Media Bay will start to analyze the content of the folder so you

can browse it in the results window.

The filters sections allow you to organize files according to their attributes.

If you can't see the filters section on top of the results window, go to Setup Window

Layout and mark the filters check box.

You can customize wich attributes you want to see by clicking on the arrow next to a

column's name and selecting a new category.

As you click on some of the attributes in the filters section, the files in the results

window will update to match the search parameters.

You can reset the filters attributes by clicking on the reset filter button at the top.

You can also sort files by media type on the results window by selecting a media type from

the drop down menu right here.

If you find yourself satisfied with a certain file you can grade it with a five-star rating.

Later on, when you feel the need to quickly find a file that fits your project, you can

adjust the results list to show only five star rated files.

These are the files you are most likely to use thanks to a previous experience.

You can also sort files by clicking on the column title as shown on screen.

Clicking on Name will sort files alphabetically, clicking on tempo will sort files by tempo

and so on.

You can preview media files by selecting one of the files from the results list and using

the transport options in the previewer window down below.

You can also preview them in the tempo of your song and even adjust the starting point

of the preview to match the playback start in your project to ensure the tempos will

align perfectly.

You can adjust the volume with the horizontal fader and even looping files by clicking on

the preview cycle button in the top left corner of the previewer box.

You can also listen to any part of the file by clicking anywhere on the waveform in the

previewer window while the file is playing.

The up and down arrows on your keyboard are assigned as navigation commands for the Media

Bay so you can quickly listen to a wide variety of sample files in no time.

To add any file to your project, simply drag and drop any track to the project window.

If you drop the new file over an empty area in the project window it will create a track

to receive the new file, the same way as if you were to double click on it directly within

the Media Bay.

You can right-click on any file and select Show in explorer to open up the location of

a sample in your browser.

You can also delete and rename a file from the same menu.

To access the Cubase factory content click on VST Sound in the Define Locations column.

It contains a vast amount of samples, MIDI sequences and presets you can import into

your project covering a wide variety of genres.

You can access the Media Bay Tab from the right zone in the project window to preview

media content while looking at the events display.

You don't need to have a midi input device or a midi controller to preview the presets

within the media bay tab.

You can use your mouse to click on the qwerty keyboard buttons by going to the settings

at the bottom right corner of the media bay and turn on the computer keyboard input.

The memo recorder allows you to record a very short passage and use it to preview any of

the patches inside of the media bay.

Click the play button and type in a MIDI sequence, then click on stop when you're finished.

Now you can preview what you played while you switch presets to decide wich one fits

your song the best.

If you don't hear any sound while playing your keyboard, try moving the octave slider

until you do.

The slider decides wich octave will be assigned to your keyboard and since some of the patches

only cover a restricted amount of octaves you can find yourself playing one of the empty

ones.

Since everything inside the media bay can be tagged with keys and tempos, you can transpose

files to the key your project is in.

This way you can preview any MIDI sequence without adjusting the key on your mind to

see if the sample fits.

We'll learn more about this in the Chord Track section later on.

On the next video, you'll be learning all about the Arranger Track inside Cubase.

See you there.

Minicraft Games - Play on Crazy Games Online Free | Time247 - Duration: 12:44.

The game was released on December 19, 2011.

The player roams a world and must "chop down trees, find and mine resources, fight zombies, slimes and the boss: Air Wizard, and build shelter."

It is also stated in the official description, in line with the theme, that "the goal of the game is to kill the only other sentient being in the world, making sure you'll be alone forever.

The basic controls for a standard keyboard are "W, A, S, D,"/arrow keys for movement, and space/C for item use. Inventory is ENTER/X keys.

The game greatly resembles The Legend of Zelda being that it appears to be a basic dungeon crawl. Minicraft Games - Play on Crazy Games Online Free

Minicraft was developed by Markus Persson, on December 19, 2011.

It was created in 48 hours as a part of the 22nd Ludum Dare competition,

Minicraft is a 2D top-down action game designed and programmed by Markus Persson, the creator of Minecraft.

Which requires game developers that enter the contest to make a game in that time frame based on a theme that is released just before the time starts.

For this Ludum Dare, the theme was "Alone"

During the 48 hours, Persson also livestreamed his coding of the game and made blog entries on the Ludum Dare website for significant milestones he reached

Minicraft competed against 891 other games, with the judging based on nine categories, some of which include "innovation, fun, graphics, audio, humor and mood"

The voting for best game was determined by the Ludum Dare community and the time for voting ended on January 9, 2012. Minicraft Games - Play on Crazy Games Online Free

The game was commonly likened to the early The Legend of Zelda games, with reviewers like Rock, Paper, Shotgun writer Alec Meer adding,

"It's a good (and compulsive) time, and impressively complete for a mere 48 hours of crunch".

Boing Boing reviewer Rob Beschizza critiqued the game saying, "A spectacular achievement in just a few hours of coding, Minicraft casts the same spell as the real thing.

. It does, however, suffer from shallowness and grind.

There's not much to do except plow through the process of emptying each level in search of better ores

VentureBeat writer Dan Crawley commented on the gathering system, saying, "A simple but addictive approach to resource gathering helps give the game a whimsical charm not a million miles from that of its big brother."

Matt Bradford of Games Radar stated that, "The project is about as basic as one can expect from a marathon coding competition, but the mere fact it's actually a solid, playable game is a testament to Persson's skill" and also pointed out that "this could easily be a discount app for iOS or a PS Mini."
