Waching daily Apr 12 2017

This video is an introduction to my new Bento Box Quilt pattern, a knitted quilt of course.

And this is the introduction, there's kind of a lot of content in the introduction and

next week, depending on when you're watching this, there will be a free pattern and video

tutorial available.

We can go ahead and cut away to a picture of the whole quilt.

You can see it's kind of visually confusing, but it's not a difficult pattern and it's

actually not difficult construction either.

But it's kind of visually confusing so, I wanted to separate this into two separate

videos.

This one will have...we'll talk about the construction and the yarn and I'll give you

a free coloring page so you can workshop some different colors for it, and then next week

we can start right in with the knitting.

And this video is sponsored by KPC Yarn, I'm using their gorgeous Gossip Chunky Organic

Cotton for this blanket.

This yarn was a delight to work with and we'll talk more about the yarn in a minute.

My inspiration for this is, I always look, click through when someone posts something

about a quilt show, you know, fabric, regular quilts, because they're beautiful and I sometimes

get inspiration for knitting patterns from them.

And I saw this bento box design come up a few times and I look carefully at it because

like I said, it's kind of visually confusing, but I looked carefully at it and I was like,

those are mitered squares, we can do that in knitting.

And so, I put together the pattern with the...

If you click, if you actually do a Google Image search of bento box quilts, you'll get

a lot of different images of the fabric quilts that people have made and that can actually

help you a lot with color inspiration.

But what I have here is just one example of colors, and if my Log Cabin Blanket pattern

is anything to go on, you guys have some really good ideas for putting different colors together.

Okay, so let me move this and I want to show you this.

This is one of the quilt blocks in the blanket, and I'm showing you this, you make 16 of these

for the blanket.

I'm showing you this because I'm going to use some visual aids and I want you to keep

in mind that this is the actual size of the quilt block, not a little, tiny square of

paper.

So, let's go ahead and take a look at what I've put together.

Okay, these are what the quilt blocks look like in my little example here, and you're

going to make two different color combinations, the knitting is identical in both.

And you see here in the colors that I've chosen, there's one background color that runs in

both squares and then a second color, and a third color.

And this is the way the whole thing goes together.

So, this right here is actually one pattern repeat, you're going to repeat this three

more times to make the whole blanket.

Like you saw in the picture, you don't really get the idea of how it goes together.

I want you to really understand the construction before you start knitting.

And I realized the more...

I tried a bunch of different things to make this as easy as possible.

This was...the visual aids I put together here were the easiest way, I think, to make

it easily understood.

Okay, so that's how the whole thing goes together minus the border, that's the whole blanket.

This repeat, four times total minus the border, the mitered squares all start here at the

center of each one of the four repeats.

Okay, so keep that in mind, I'm leading you up to an easy understanding of this whole

thing.

Hopefully, hopefully.

Okay, now the next thing I wanna show you is the coloring page I've put together.

And this is an example of a blank coloring page, here is...this part right here is actually

the key.

It has the letters in it, you see the empty squares are the "A" color and then "B" in

my blanket is represented by green, I'll turn it so you can see.

And then "C" in my blanket is represented by pink.

And this is how the whole thing goes together, this is an exact replica of the little squares

I just showed you, placed.

And then one step further before we get to the real coloring part, this is the exact

same thing without the letters in it.

I discovered that it wasn't very fun to color in over the letters, so you have this as an

option if you wanna workshop some different colors, but I actually found that I preferred...that

the grid lines didn't look very good when I was coloring, so I left you a big, empty

square to color in.

And this is just like that without the grid, just like this without the grid lines.

And you can use this as a key when you fill in this.

And I'll show you...here's one that I filled in.

I'm not that great at coloring and I don't even really have that many colored pencils

to choose from, but you get the idea, it's all here.

I have my main color, which in this is white, my second color in this which is purple, my

third color is orange and my border, my border wasn't supposed to be this color, but it's

gray.

It looks all right, you get the idea.

Okay, so many things, I've got a list here because there are so many things I wanna get

taken care of in this intro so we can just start knitting next week.

This yarn, this awesome yarn from KPC is machine washable and on the yarn label, it says machine

wash but it doesn't recommend machine drying.

Well, I went ahead and put it to the test.

I knit up this sample and I used all the colors in my blanket and I machine washed and dried

it and it came out beautifully.

There was no color bleeding, it came out of the dryer beautifully and after I did this

sample, I felt confident enough to put my whole big blanket in the washer and the dryer

and it actually came out looking better, the stitches looked more even after washing and

drying.

So, KPC doesn't recommend drying, it worked out fine for me, I put it to the test a couple

of times here.

And while we're looking at my colors, I forgot to tell you, these look like...these are happy

springtime colors, but I actually used sushi colors.

Rice, wasabi, pickled ginger, and salmon.

So, they ended up looking like kind of a springtime blanket, but I was thinking sushi when I picked

the colors.

Okay, when you go to the KPC website to order your yarn...I come up against this every time

I work with KPC, the default currency on their website is in Hong Kong dollars and the yarn

is going to look ridiculously expensive.

It's not, the Hong Kong dollar, last time I checked, is 13 cents on the U.S. dollar,

but at the top of the page you can select the currency from your country and actually

see what the actual price is, it's a great value on organic cotton.

And don't worry about ordering from Hong Kong, the shipments arrive so quickly.

I've ordered several times from KPC and my order from KPC usually arrives more quickly

than a domestic yarn order.

I don't know how they do it, but it's not gonna take forever for your yarn to arrive

and I've heard the same thing from a lot of other people.

Quick shipping, yes, 40 colors available on their website and they also have this awesome

little basket where you can throw different colors in and see how, it's called mix and

match I think, you can see how different colors look together before you actually start your

coloring page.

Okay and speaking of the coloring page, if you click the little "i" in the upper right

hand corner, that will take you to my website and on my website I have a link to the Gossip

Chunky Organic Cotton yarn.

I'll have a link so you can download your coloring page.

I will also have information about the needle size and the yarn amounts so you know how

much to order.

What am I missing?

I think that's it and depending on when you're watching this, if the tutorial for the knitting

part, the free pattern and the tutorial is already available, I'll be sure to give you

a link to that if you click the little "i".

Otherwise, have fun with your coloring page and picking your colors and we will get started

with the knitting next week.

How is the cell programmed with genetic information? - Duration: 3:13.

Ankerberg: Alright, let's go to the clip where you show what is happening in the cell

and how it's programmed with this code.

Narrator: In 1957 Francis Crick first proposed that chemicals, called bases, along the spine

of the DNA molecule function as alphabetic characters in a written language or digital

characters in a machine code.

This animation shows how this digital information directs protein synthesis.

First a large protein complex separates the tightly wound strands of the DNA to prepare

it to be copied.

During this process of transcription, a protein complex called a polymerase produces a single

stranded copy of the original instructions.

Here we see this copy, the messenger RNA molecule, being constructed inside the polymerase, as

individual bases are positioned and added to the growing strand.

Now we see the polymerase in action from the outside, as it spits out the messenger RNA

transcript.

Next, this RNA transcript approaches and passes through a molecular machine called the nuclear

pore complex, an information recognition device that controls the flow of information in and

out of the cell's nucleus.

Now we see the genetic assembly instructions on the messenger RNA approaching and arriving

at a two-part chemical factory called a ribosome, the site of protein synthesis.

As the messenger RNA transcript passes through the ribosome, the process of translation begins.

During translation, a mechanical assembly line builds a specifically sequenced chain

of amino acids in accord with the instructions on the transcript.

These amino acids are transported from other parts of the cell by molecules called transfer

RNAs, which link specific sequences of bases to corresponding amino acids.

The sequential arrangement of the amino acids determines the type of protein constructed.

When the construction of the chain is complete, it is transported to a barrel-shaped machine

that helps fold it into the precise shape required to perform its function.

After the chain is folded into a protein, it is released into the outer cytoplasm to

do its job in the cell.

Ankerberg: Now, Stephen, looking at that wonderful clip, I bet you that 85% of our audience didn't

understand what they were looking at.

But they did pick up a couple things.

First of all, all of that was happening in one single cell.

Alright, all of those little machines that you were looking at are in one little cell;

they're interconnected.

Then they saw code.

Your point is, if that code's not right, those machines aren't going to do their

jobs, because that code, that information, makes them do what they do.

A History of Amsterdam Gaypride | QUEER AMSTERDAM (BNN) - Duration: 5:00.

I'm Dorien, one of the creators of Queer Amsterdam.

Let's travel back to the first boats of Amsterdam Gay Pride.

Seeing those images makes me wish I had been there.

No crowded boats sponsored by companies or political parties...

but small activist boats.

Let's relive that with wonderful people on a pedal bike on the Prinsengracht.

Historian Vera Boots came up with the boat parade 20 years ago.

Henk Heijenga is a Gay Pride veteran who's been on many boats.

His boyfriend John also hopped on.

Maaike van den Berg knows where to find activism during Gay Pride.

Let's go!

I remember seeing an illustration in the archive of the Rijksmuseum...

when I was studying art history.

The illustration can be found online.

This is due to the visit Maria de Medici payed to Amsterdam.

De Medici's were powerful and rich. The Donald Trumps of that time.

People went out of their way to welcome her triumphantly in Amsterdam.

On the water. -On the water.

This is more spectacular than today's Gay Pride.

In 1638. -That's correct.

That was the beginning of the Canal Parade.

There used to be a lot more activism.

Let's just put something on and not care about the world.

It has become a kind of show for people from the provinces.

My straight colleagues know about it before I do.

The urgency that comes from the pain of needing to do something like that...

To show them who we are, what we can do and how much fun it is...

That doesn't exist anymore.

Free The Nipple is too political for their boat?

What the fuck does that even mean?

This is the ballerina boat. It was outrageous.

A group of aged bears in ballet skirts. But...

We had music on the boat. It was...

It was just one song. Swan Lake.

We did that again and again. It echoed underneath the bridges.

And we did our rounds. The crowd went wild.

I still don't get it. It was so silly.

But it was great fun. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Now, people in pink shirts drink rose wine thinkings it's a good deed.

It's not what I thought it would become.

It's become very commercial. It's good that companies...

recognize the community. But it's a commercial poster drum.

Do they invest in related programs? Do they invest in...

culture? In our culture?

No, they stand on a boat to drink wine, have a good day and get drunk.

What's your favorite boat? -The Mr. B boat.

Why? -It's one of the few boats where...

you can see a lot of pride. And at least some nudity.

It's one of the boats that make me happy.

You have to keep kicking and screaming.

By provoking, you incite a discussion. To me, that is...

very important and good. It's crucial to keep doing that.

You can do it with nudity. Or with a Moroccan boat which...

is a provocation to certain members of society.

Where can activism still be found? -During Pride Walk.

Definitely the Pride Walk. There...

you can find the essence of the boats of twenty years ago.

When I participate, I feel strong and...

I prefer to show myself to the world that way.

She gave me a dirty look. -It's Pride.

I'll keep going.

The End.

Why dancers love performing Balanchine's Jewels (The Royal Ballet) - Duration: 5:06.

Jewels is one Balanchine's greatest pieces of choreography.

His style is iconic. You see a piece and you go: 'That's by Balanchine'.

I think what's amazing about Jewels as a whole ballet is that there are three very different pieces.

They have different tones, different feelings, different colours.

Balanchine used to say it's like an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert.

The inspiration came from Van Cleef & Arpels,

when Balanchine saw a window there and got inspired by jewellery - one of his favourite things.

Emeralds is a beautiful piece.

The music is amazing.

Like all of Balanchine's work, it's extremely musical and the music transports you to a different place.

It's quite demure, and romantic.

Many pas de deux, many solos, not flashy.

That's your French piece - a perfume, if you will.

It's wonderful to dance, it's a real dancers' piece.

'Alright! It's showtime!'

With Rubies, he chose music that was so jazzy, and so exciting, and a little bit American.

The piece is Stravinsky, so he's using many different time-signatures within the piece.

The music is not simple and straightforward.

The athleticism of Rubies is another level.

It pushes you physically. We're running the whole time - we're jumping the whole time.

The energy level is through the roof the whole time.

It's exciting, and it's dynamic. It has to have this certain kind of edge and energy to it.

We have Tchaikovsky for Diamonds made for Suzanne Farrell

to represent Imperial Russia.

I love working on Diamonds, I love performing Diamonds

The steps are very challenging, but because they are done in such a way,

you actually forget how difficult the steps are.

The wonderful score by Tchaikovsky is joy of dance, from beginning to end.

And it just grows and grows, because it's a grand classical display for the whole company.

When everybody comes on stage it's quite incredible.

I think it's very special.

It is a real diamond isn't it?

Yes, it's a real diamond, it's a full-capacity show piece.

It's wonderful that we get the opportunity to work with people that worked with Balanchine,

and created roles with him

I got to work with Balanchine for eleven years.

I joined the company in 1972, so to be in on the ground floor while he was creating was quite an honour.

I can't teach something without hearing him saying something,

or telling us something...

or singing us some music.

I decided, the moment I saw his company dance, that I had to meet Balanchine.

So, I told my mother that we would be leaving Canada and I would be joining New York City Ballet.

I was seventeen

I travel all over the world, and I teach his ballets to every major company, with great dancers,

and I always feel his presence, because I think it's important to keep him alive for the dancers.

His choreogprahy is so musical, and so ahead of its time,

dancers love dancing it, audiences still love watching it.

The patterns of each ballet are exquisite.

The costumes and the musicality is beyond anything. It's incredible.

I think it's timeless because it's a piece of art.

To dance his ballets is one of the most glorious things on earth.

GBA+: Equality or Equity? - Duration: 3:14.

There is a lot of buzz in Canada about gender equality.  What does equality look like?

How do we achieve it? Is it about treating everyone equally?

Many of us have seen variations of this illustration.  It compares equality and equity.

These concepts are related, but not the same.

In this scene, everyone is treated exactly the same, with the assumption that all people

will benefit equally.  This scene shows equal treatment.

Equity is the quality of being fair, which often requires treatment that is not the same.

Individuals are given different supports so that they have equal access to the view.

They are being treated equitably.  This scene shows equity.

In this scene, the systemic barrier for the viewers is removed.  All three have access

to the view without any supports or accommodations.  This scene demonstrates true equality.

Gender equality means that all genders have equal conditions for realizing their full

human rights.

They are equal participants in their home, their community and their society.

Different groups of people may experience the same situation differently, such as access

to services and employment, and the experience of violence.

Barriers can be formal or informal, intentional or unintentional.

So, how can we identify and remove these systemic barriers?

Gender-based Analysis Plus (or GBA+) is an analytical tool used to assess how diverse

groups of people may experience initiatives.

The "plus" acknowledges that GBA goes beyond sex and gender. It also includes the

consideration of many other identity factors.

We all have multiple identity factors that intersect to make us who we are.  And, equity

and equality aren't only about gender.

Many benefit from removing barriers for groups of people.  Consider …

• Large print versions of documents for the visually impaired

• Uniforms that allow for religious wear  • Family washrooms for parents with young

children  • Flexible parental leave policies

Each of us has biases that can make it hard to know if and when equitable actions are

needed. Use GBA+ as a guide, to challenge your assumptions and to learn more about how

diverse people may experience policies, programs and everyday conditions. By taking equitable

action today, we set the stage for true equality tomorrow.

How Are Your Social Security Benefits Calculated? - Duration: 1:19.

We all think we know the basics about Social Security, but do we really know how different

the benefits can be?

The standard retirement age is between 65 and 67, depending on your birthday.

Your monthly income, also called your PIA, is determined by your highest 40 quarters

of wages.

You can start taking benefits as early as age 62, but your monthly income will be reduced

by at least 25%.

Say your full retirement age is exactly 66 years old, then you can delay until age 70

and your monthly income will be 32% higher.

Your strategy needs to be based upon a number of factors: how much retirement income you

need, other sources of income, income taxes and your general health condition.

Other factors also weigh in, like survivor needs, divorce, dependent children, and available

liquid assets.

Proper planning requires attention to all these details.Give us a call today for help

GBA+: Beyond Sex and Gender - Duration: 2:44.

We've all heard it: "You can't really understand another person's experience until

you've walked a mile in their shoes."

Shoes aren't one-size-fits-all and neither are policies, programs and services.

That's what gender-based analysis plus (or GBA+) is all about.

So, how does it work?

Doing a gender-based analysis means gathering information on how different groups of people

may experience the same situation differently.

This is your chance to identify risks and opportunities as you design your initiative…and

create appropriate mitigation strategies.

Let's start at the beginning.

What makes you who you are?

Is it your age?

Your ethnic background?

Where you live?

It's all of this and more.

These are called identity factors.

Sex and gender are two identity factors that are the starting points for GBA+.

The terms "sex" and "gender" are often used interchangeably but they are actually

separate concepts.

Sex refers to a set of biological attributes and is associated with physical and physiological

features.

Sex is usually categorized as female or male but there is variation in biological attributes

and how those attributes are expressed.

Gender, on the other hand, refers to the socially constructed roles, behaviours, expressions

and identities of individuals.

Gender helps determine how people perceive themselves and each other and how they act

and interact.

It can even have an impact on how power and resources are distributed in a society.

We all have multiple identity factors that intersect to make us who we are.

This is called intersectionality.

The "plus" in gender-based analysis plus acknowledges that GBA goes beyond sex and

gender.

It examines how sex and gender intersect with other identities such as: race, ethnicity,

religion, age or mental or physical disability.

Use GBA+ to examine all the intersecting identity factors of diverse groups of people so that

you can be more inclusive in your approach to developing, delivering and evaluating initiatives.

How to Read Auras – What is the Meaning of Each Color - Duration: 18:22.

How to Read Auras What is the Meaning of Each Color?

Learn all about auras, how to read auras, how to see your aura, aura colors and what

each aura color means.

All living things that need oxygen to survive have an aura.

They generate a large magnetic energy field that can be sensed, felt and even seen around

the physical body.

We all can tell when someone doesnt feel good to us, like they are full of anger or

if they really live in their heart and feel deeply.

You do not need to be psychic to feel/read an aura.

If a person walks past, very close to you, they may unintentionally steal some of your

energy.

If someone suddenly reaches out and grabs your arm, they are interrupting the flow of

energy around your body.

An example of this might be a time when you were talking to someone and you thought they

were standing to close to you.

You may have even thought to yourself, Theyre in my space, and then you backed away.

Even this slight intrusion into your aura or space can interrupt your personal

flow of energy and you may feel like you have been slimed.

An aura is usually 3 feet from your physical body, however an incest or rape survivor has

an aura about 50 feet around them, which means in a movie theater or a bus/train you sit

#AskJon: Is it a good idea to use social media in times of crisis? - Duration: 1:16.

In the past, folks — companies,

organizations — were not inclined to use

social channels during times of crisis,

because of the commentary and questions

that they would get on those social

platforms. Now, however, companies and

organizations are more used to using

those social platforms in a way that

they used to use their websites. In the

past, when there was a crisis, companies

would put out a statement. They

invariably would put those statements on

their websites and they drive all of the

media questions and all of the public

questions to those websites. Now that

social platforms are used as regular

communications outlets, folks are more

inclined to post those statements

directly on Instagram or on Facebook. And,

then manage the commentary offline in

ways that are more safe than answering

those questions in public. So, I would say,

and we're seeing this more and more

often, that if you are used to managing

your social platforms on a daily basis,

putting that commentary, putting those

quotes immediately on social platforms,

is a good way to reach your audiences

and the public.

THEY LOVE IT WHEN YOU DO THIS - Duration: 10:07.

299,939… 40 we may hit this today

[Music]

So…

I suppose it's fairly ridiculous that I have

been vlogging in the car so much lately

but see here's the deal like I'm trying

to get out of the studio I'm trying to

make these videos more dynamic and

engaging I've just got limited things

that I do so you're gonna have to bear

with it today I mean I guess it's kind

of ridiculous to have a 4k set up for

vlogging in a Jeep but I've been

thinking about you know I don't know

I've got this light maybe I could mount

that up here some velcro have a nice key

light I don't know what do you think?

earlier in this video I mentioned that

this channel will most likely hit

300,000 subscribers today which is

amazing the most amazing thing about

that is what that number means and that

means you guys that means 300,000 people

during the course that I've had this

channel have enjoyed what I made enough

to want to subscribe to it you guys this

is for you not me and so I just want to

say thanks it really is amazing and I'm

really excited

check this out another postcard you guys

they flip out at the post office when

you get us in postcards because they're

like oh my gosh - you get these things from

all over the world this is so cool

actually came over here because I'm

expecting a second battery for the GH5

I haven't given up on it yet and I know

everybody's complaining about the

autofocus thing but we'll see if I can

find a way to make it work still

I'm looking at the monitor I really do need this key light

okay guys don't judge the studio

is a mess right now

this is pretty cool

so this is a post card that came in the

mail today and this is from Essi who

lives in northern Finland Essi this was a

huge hit with Janee at the post office

she's really impressed when you guys do

this and she's like oh my god this one

came from Finland anyway I want to read

a little bit of this to you because I

thought it was really nice hi Ted

greetings from northern Finland I bought

my first DSLR camera in 2014 and I've

loved photography ever since for six

months I haven't really taken any photos

except for my dog mainly to document the

growth and the puppy phase I have tried

many things photo journal assignments

change of method DSLR to analog and

change a place traveling to different

places nearby my main problem though is

the complete lack of motivation and

imagination but I've been watching your

videos and they are very inspirational I

like the way you explain things and

you make photography easily accessible

for anyone who likes to take photos

thank you and keep up the amazing work

all the best Essi - Essi thank you that is the

plan here is to inspire people and try

to make things accessible because I

think that's really important I actually

want to talk about something that I

mentioned in yesterday's video that had

a few comments and I think it's worth

discussing and I mentioned yesterday

that I feel that creativity based on my

own experience is something that is if

you haven't been practicing it it's hard

to get back into and for me it's like

working out or going to the gym if you

don't have your strength if you've taken

a month or two off going back to the gym

is a really difficult experience and I

think that creative work is the same way

if you're not used to being in that

mindset sometimes you hear people call

this flow that's what they refer to it

as but if you're not in that flow then

it's hard to get back in but it's

something you have to do now I had a

somebody comment on that they said was

kind of Zen

for them because they felt that they had

always believed that creativity was

something you either have or you don't

maybe it's something you're born with

and I don't think that's correct at all

i think that certainly we classify

people as being either right brain

dominant or left brain dominant and

that's normal like somebody's either

into music or dance or theater or

they're a writer or whatever that is or

they're on the other side and they're a

doctor or a lawyer or a finance person

or whatever that is but to say that

those people don't involve creativity

in what they do is ridiculous it involves

involves an immense amount of problem

solving and creativity for instance the

word is a little weird because you don't

want to hear a surgeon say that they're

going to get creative when you're under

the knife but if you look at all of the

advancements in medicine over the last

century my gosh there's a lot of

creative thinking that's going on a lot

of problem solving a lot of

experimentation and that's what I'm

talking about so creativity is not just

exclusive to the arts it involves

everybody and it's just a human trait

that we all have it's like thinking or

feeling or the way we treat people I

mean it's like all those things and it's

up to you to whether or not you're going

to access that or not now I will admit

that we live in a culture right now that

does not really promote creativity it's

a consumer culture we all have phones we

have iPads we have apps we have video

games we've got more TV than we could

ever watch and there's a lot of great

stuff but it's just an act of consuming

that we're involved in and our culture

does not really encourage the making of

things and that's one thing that I hope

I do in these videos now there is

another term that I want to talk about

called aptitude and I will give you a

brief story here I did a video on this a

few weeks ago and I did a video on a

teacher of mine from the eighth grade

who made an enormous impact on my life

I'd never told her that before I made

the video she had a good cry it was very

cute we're friends on Facebook and it

was very touching and it was a really

cool thing I felt for me to try to give

back to her for doing that but anyway

around that time the reason to bring

this up when I was in the eighth and

ninth grade I was having a lot of

problems in school I was a horrible

student I was failing everything at one

point in the ninth grade now looking

back on it I can see that I was not in a

good environment that was really

fostering what I was interested in or

the way I wanted to thank or any of

those things it was just what it was and

it was not a good situation for me to be

in but around that time and God bless my

parents they were

doing everything they could to figure

out what the problem was but you know

when you're in high school you do a lot

of testing so whether that's SAT for

college or whatever but I remember my

parents volunteered and they signed me

up to take an aptitude test now and

aptitude basically is something that

does come naturally to you and so this

could be something like you're really

good at music or you're really good at

math problems or maybe you're really

good at acting or you're good at theatre

or you know these these are specific

skills that one might have maybe you're

good at sports maybe you're good at

athletics and so an aptitude is

something that comes naturally to you it

doesn't mean that if you don't have the

aptitude you can't do it and that's

where I mistook that because I was

horribly offended at this entire test I

remember going in and taking it it was

all day long and some of it was like a

test you take on paper with multiple

choice answers some of it was essays

some of it was one-on-one with somebody

some of it was like throwing a ball one

thing I remember from this is when I

found out I was left eye dominant and I

didn't know that you had a dominant eye

at that point I thought I knew he had a

dominant hand you know I wrote with my

right hand but I shoot photography for

instance with my left eye so there was a

lot that I learned from that but I was

horribly offended at the fact that they

were judging me by my aptitudes and at

that point my life all I wanted to do

was music I wanted to have a career in

music I wanted to have a band and be a

rock star and that whole thing I mean it

was eighth ninth grade and that was

what I was into and I was really passionate

about it I remember these test results

coming back and they were saying that

music was not an aptitude of mine and I

was outrageously offended at this notion

and I was out to prove everybody wrong

with it and later on looking back as an

adult I'm more mature about it and I can

see what they were simply trying to do

was show me what I was good at and that I can

make decisions based on that but that's

different than what we're talking about

creativity is not an aptitude creativity

i think is unilateral across the board

everybody has a capacity to be creative

in some way shape or form and I hope

this is inspiring to talk about to you

guys because I want to encourage people

to make stuff that's why we do photo

assignments that's why I share mail with

you its why I share postcards when somebody

shot their own picture and had a

postcard made of it because I want to

encourage that I want to encourage

people making things and doing something

that's creative and exercising that the

thing with creativity is sometimes it

can be frustrating especially when you

narrow it down

to a specific thing like photography

let's say or filmmaking or whatever it

is it can be frustrating as I mentioned

yesterday because you know there's

somebody better than you somewhere along

the line or somebody's more natural at

it you can do anything you want in this

world though and that's important it's

important to stay inspired it's

important to stay motivated and I hope

these videos do that but truth be known

there are times where I don't feel very

inspired and I don't feel very motivated

and it's up for me to figure out what I

can change to make that happen so for

instance when I got this postcard it was

saying that watching these videos helped

but for me videos aren't really the

thing for me but what I will do is look

to friends of mine that I look up to

them inspired by and that's important

and so anyway I hope this is helping and

i hope it makes sense to you guys

somehow and anyway I want to know what

you guys think so please leave me a

comment this this whole creativity thing

i want to be a discussion I want to know

what works for people what doesn't work

for people what their thoughts are on

things and I want to try to encourage

you guys to get out there and do

something for yourself with your camera

and make the world a better place that

is important you guys it looks like

we're going to hit three hundred

thousand I'm so excited and the only

thing I can say is thank you I am so

humbled by that you know it's weird

because like you know the first big

number I remember when I hit 10,000 I

never thought i'd hit that on this

channel and it first I felt like maybe I

should feel really proud or something

but that number represents you guys

that's people who are into what I do and

like what I do and I am eternally

grateful for that so I am here to thank

you and if you guys enjoyed this video

please remember to like it share it and

subscribe maybe you'll be number three

hundred thousand exactly anyway until

the next video see you guys then later

2017 toyota yaris ia - Boasts Of Value For Money | ZUBER CAR - Duration: 3:31.

The 2017 Toyota Yaris i A, can be called as a lovely, little car.

The modest car gives the best value for money.

Though it is not very superlative in the looks department, the vehicle delivers more than

what it promises.

The car is derived from the Scion and does not quite hide this fact.

The interior of the Yaris is very much identical to that of the CX-3.

It just has fewer colors.

The car has a wide air vent that stretches across half of the dash, along with straightforward

controls and instruments.

The LCD tachometer is not up to the mark and in sunlight it can get washed out.

The infotainment that the car has is also very much identical to Mazda, reported Auto

Blog.

Despite the makeover, the Toyota Yaris i A, retains its monospace configuration.

What this translates to is that the car offers not many things but just quality transmission.

There is a choice that is provided to the customers as they can choose from either a

6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.

The vehicle comes with alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, USB and Bluetooth integration,

a rear-view camera, tilt and telescoping steering wheel with audio controls, and keyless entry

with push-button start.

There are a lot of dealer-installed accessories too like the mudguards, rear spoiler and cargo

organizers, reported Car and Driver.

The car is powered with a little 1.5-liter four-cylinder.

It does seem that it isn't particularly potent with 106 horsepower and 103 lb-ft of torque.

However, the car manages to give a very sprightly feeling.

The car has a pretty decent transmission.

Though 2017 Toyota Yaris i A, is like an add-on from the previous generation Mazda2, it offers

much more of a smoother ride.

The Yaris is smaller in size and hence lighter to handle.

The suspension that is offered is also much smoother.

In comparison, the 2017 Toyota Yaris i A, has far superior ride quality and overall

refinement.

The car doesn't get unsettled over rough bumps.

It also has a very quieter engine.

If the customer opts for the manual one, the 2017 Toyota Yaris i A, will be available for

just $16,835, or $17,935.

At the same time, the Toyota-designed Yaris hatchback starts at $16,530.

so, what do you think about this 2017 Toyota Yaris i A? put your comment in section bellow.
