From the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.

[Music]

"There's no place like space."

Phone ringing.

Grandpa! Look what I'm reading.

Have you read about Astronaut Abby?

No, sweetheart. I'd love to, but the print is just too small.

Keyboard typing.

Mouse clicking.

Phone ringing.

Hey, sweetheart! "There's no place ..."

"... like space!"

Grandpa, you read my book?

I listened to it! Thanks to you two, I enrolled in NLS.

A Global Vision for the Future of Canadian Oil and Natural Gas - Duration: 1:50.

I'm Tim McMillan of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.

I'm pleased to present our report, "A global vision for the future of Canadian oil

and natural gas."

This will be the first in a series of reports that we're bringing out in 2018.

CAPP, we represent an industry that's looking to the future and we want to put forward a

vision of how Canadian oil and natural gas can contribute to the dramatic growth in energy

demand of all sources around the world.

With growing populations, we're going to need more energy, more oil and more gas, and Canada

can step into that space and be a supplier of choice.

We also have to confront our challenges if we want to be in this global energy mix.

We need access to growing global markets, we need a streamlined regulatory system, and

we need to have a fiscal framework that positions Canada for economic success.

If not, we would be putting jobs, capital investment and our ability to compete at risk.

Today's report, and the ones to follow, are meant to put forward solutions and ideas

where all Canadians and governments and industry can work together to find policy solutions

to the challenges which face us all.

There's a place for Canadian oil and natural gas in the global energy mix but only if we

find solutions to these challenges, work together and make Canada the sustainable energy supplier

of choice.

AgWeather Quebec: For better decisions in farming - Duration: 3:17.

[Upbeat modern music fades in.]

René Audet: Producers have to deal with a variety of climate issues, extreme events, heat waves, rainfall events.

With this tool, people can monitor weather conditions and properly identify...

...any problems when they happen.

Gaétan Bourgeois: Over the years, we've developed a wide range of systems...

...and they've been incorporated into a software called CIPRA...

...it's the French acronym, but translates as "Computer Centre for Agricultural Pest Forecasting".

It was decided that AgWeather Quebec is an ideal format to keep those models alive...

...and to share them in an effective way.

René Audet: AgWeather Quebec is a website that disseminates weather information.

The website is designed specifically for agriculture. It contains data, information...

...and decision support tools to help producers and agricultural advisors with better farm management…

…whether it's for crop protection, management of inputs, pesticide application, or soil nutrients.

Gaétan Bourgeois: AgWeather Quebec incorporates a number of bioclimatic models.

They essentially allow us to make links between climate and the development of insects…

…the development of diseases, or the development of crops...

...like predicting crop flowering and maturity date.

Luc Bérubé: AgWeather Quebec is useful.

There is a lot of information you can get from the site.

In fact, AgWeather Quebec has become an indispensable tool for us in our daily work.

It's relatively simple for almost any user.

If you know how to use a computer and a mouse...

…it's pretty easy to find your way around the site and the various sources of information.

René Audet: A mobile app is also available.

The app doesn't have all the products from the site...

...but it does have features that are great to have on hand when you're in the field and have to make decisions.

Gaétan Bourgeois: We started slowly, with a few models for apples…

…and a couple of models for carrots, and with four weather stations.

Now we have 150 or so models for 25 different crops.

Through AgWeather Quebec, we have access to weather data…

…from 325 different weathers stations across Eastern Canada.

Luc Bérubé: We're noticing that weather events and variations in temperature and precipitation are very localized…

...so because of the size of the network, and the number of stations that are on the AgWeather Quebec site...

...we can see those variations and differences. If there was just one station covering a big area...

...say 100 square kilometres, we'd be very far from having an accurate picture of the ways things really are.

René Audet: We're always in the process of developing other tools. We want to add another 30 or so...

...between now and 2019 and we also want to improve the weather forecasts.

We're working with Environment Canada to provide short-term weather forecasts...

...so that we can get better accuracy.

Gaétan Bourgeois: With the CIPRA software, we were able to collaborate with a number of people.

So whether the purpose is research, development or technology transfer…

…there is something here for everyone, because the weather affects us all.

[The upbeat modern music fades out.]

Using the CNA e Tool for HUD Asset Management Events Requiring a CNA - Duration: 44:28.

HI, EVERYONE. THIS IS JEN LARSON AT H.U.D.

QUARTERS HERE TO TALK ABOUT THE C.N.A. e-TOOL.

THIS IS A REPEAT OF THE TRAINING THAT HAPPENED SESSION.

IF YOU'RE JOINING US FOR THE SECOND TIME, GREAT.

JUST TO GET ANOTHER RUN-THROUGH. IF THIS IS NEW TO YOU, THAT'S

GREAT, TOO. THIS IS A REPEAT OF THE TRAINING

THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY. ALSO WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW

THAT THIS TRAINING IS BEING RECORDED AND WILL BE POSTED AND

WE'LL SEND OUT AN EMAIL LETTING YOU ALL KNOW WHERE THAT IS.

BUT WE'RE NOT ANTICIPATING THAT WE'RE GOING TO GET A HUGE NUMBER

OF THESE C.N.A. SUBMISSIONS. SO YOU MAY WATCH THIS TRAINING

TODAY ANT NOT GET ONE FOR THREE MONTHS OR SO.

AND SO YOU'LL BE ABLE TO GO BACK AND WATCH THE TRAINING WHEN YOU

GET AN ACTUAL SUBMISSION TO REVIEW.

>> TALK ABOUT COMPLIANCE. >> YEAH.

SO WE ARE GOING TO HOST THIS WITH -- WE HAVE TO RUN IT

THROUGH SOME PRODUCTION. >> THE BROADCAST TEAM.

YEP. >> THANKS.

THE BROADCAST TEAM SO IT GETS CLOSED CAPTIONED AND EVERYTHING

AND IT WILL BE POSTED SHORTLY. SO JUST WANTED TO GO OVER THE --

FIRST THE PRESENTERS. I'M JEN LARSON, I'M IN THE

OFFICE OF ASSET MANAGEMENT AND SEAN FROM PROGRAM SYSTEMS

MANAGEMENT. BOTH OF THEM INSTRUMENTAL IN

GETTING e-TOOL LAUNCHED. 2 THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE TODAY

AND SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE WITH OUR STAFF.

GOING OVER THE AGENDA, WE'RE GOING TO START BY TALKING ABOUT

C.N.A.s IN GENERAL AND THE REQUIREMENTS FOR C.N.A.s AND

WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE BUSINESS PROCESS FOR WORKING

WITH THE C.N.A. e-TOOL. THERE'S A SEPARATE PROCESS FOR

INSURED SUBMISSION AND NOT INSURED SUBMISSIONS.

IT DEPENDS WILL THERE'S A LENDER INVOLVED.

WE'LL TALK ABOUT THE DIFFERENT PROCESSES FOR BOTH OF THOSE.

AND THEN WE'LL HAVE A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE C.N.A. e-TOOL,

THE ASSESSMENT e-TOLL, THE VALIDATION ENGINE AND THE

REVIEWER PORTAL AS SHAUN AND KEVIN WILL GO OVER THE THREE

THINGS, JUST BRIEFLY TO GIVE YOU AN INTRODUCTION.

THERE ARE MORE DETAILED TUTORIALS POSTED ONLINE AND

WE'LL SHOW YOU WHERE TO ACCESS THOSE IF YOU NEED TO LOOK AT

THEM. BUT JUST AIMING FOR A BRIEF

OVERVIEW TODAY. OH, JUST ANOTHER HOUSEKEEPING

NOTE. I DID PUT EVERYONE ON MUTE ON

THE PHONE. IF YOU NEED TO ASK A QUESTION,

THERE'S A CHAT BOX IN THE LOWER RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN.

AND JUST TYPE YOUR QUESTION IN THERE.

WE'LL TRY TO ADDRESS IT. WE'LL STOP A COUPLE OF TIMES FOR

QUESTIONS. FEEL FREE TO ASK, YOU KNOW, TYPE

A QUESTION WHENEVER YOU WANT. I'LL TRY NOT TO GO OVER

DUPLICATE INFORMATION TOO MUCH. SO JUST WANTED TO TOUCH ON THE

RELEVANT GUIDANCE FOR THE 3 C.N.A. e-TOOL.

SO THERE IS A HOUSING NOTICE. IT'S A NOTICE 2016-18.

AND I SHOULD MENTION OF THE SLIDE DECK IS ATTACHED TO THE

PRESENTATION, TOO. SO YOU SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO THE

SLIDE DECK AND THE GUIDANCE IS HYPERLINKED IN THE SLIDE DECK.

THERE'S A NOTICE THAT'S ABOUT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE

C.N.A. e-TOOL AND WONDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES THE PROJECTS NEED

TO USE IT. THE MAP GUIDE IS ALSO RELEVANT.

APPENDIX 55 SECTION CALLED C.N.A.s FOR ASSET MANAGEMENT

FUNCTION, THAT MOSTLY DEALS WITH THE TEN-YEAR UPDATE C.N.A.s.

IT CAN BE USEFUL IN THE NONINSURED C.N.A.s ALSO.

THEN THERE'S ALSO A SECTION THAT I HAVE CITED THERE ABOUT

QUALIFICATIONS OF NEEDS ASSESSOR AND WHAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN A

NEEDS ASSESSMENT. LASTLY, WE HAVE HOUSING HANDBOOK

4350.1. A COUPLE CHAPTERS THAT ARE

RELEVANT. CHAPTER 4 RESERVED FOR

REPLACEMENT AND CHAPTER 7 ABOUT BUDGET AND RENT INCREASES.

THERE IS A STANDARD OF WORK IN PROCESS AND OUR STAFF ARE

WORKING ON DEVELOPING THAT WITH SOME FIELD STUFF.

BUT YOUR QUESTIONS TODAY AND KIND OF THE ISSUES THAT YOU

BRING UP IN THE COMING DAYS WILL REALLY HELP US SHAPE THAT SO

THAT IT MEETS YOUR NEEDS FOR GOING FORWARD.

SO I WANTED TO DO A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF WHAT A CAPITAL NEEDS

ASSESSMENT IS. IT'S REALLY AN INDEPENDENT

THIRD-PARTY CONTRACTOR WHO GOES OUT AND LOOKS AT THE PROPERTY

AND EVALUATES THE BUILDING, WHAT 4 CONDITION IT'S IN, IF THE

PROPERTY IS IN GOOD CONDITION, WHAT REPAIRS ARE GOING TO BE

NEEDED OVER THE NEXT 10 TO 20 YEARS.

THEY THEN TAKE OUT INFORMATION, PUT TOGETHER A YEAR BY YEAR

RAILROAD SCHEDULE OF CAPITAL NEEDS AND ASSOCIATED COSTS.

AND THEN WE USE THAT TO INFORM THE RESERVE FOR REPLACEMENT

DEPOSITS FOR THAT PROPERTY. THE ESTIMATE PERIOD IS 20 YEARS.

WE REQUIRE TEN-YEAR UPDATE FOR INSURED MORTGAGES AND WE'LL TALK

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THAT LATER. THE REPAIRS ARE DIVIDED WHEN THE

CAIN IS COMPLETED. THE REPAIRS ARE GUIDED INTO

CRITICAL, NONCRITICAL AND FUTURE, SO YOU CAN FIND OF

DECIDE AND PRIORITIZE BETWEEN THE REPAIRS.

A C.N.A. REPORT, THIS IS THE FOLLOWING THE ASTM STANDARD.

THERE ARE DIFFERENT ELEMENTS THAT ARE INCLUDED AND EXECUTIVE

SUMMARY THAT KIND OF GIVES A GENERAL OVERVIEW.

THE SCOPE WHICH IS GOING TO TALK ABOUT WHAT ITEMS WERE LOOK AT IN

THE BUILDING, WHAT SYSTEMS, OVERALL GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF

THE BUILDING, THE SITE. WE'LL GO ALL OF THESE ELEMENTS

OF THE BUILDING. THERE ARE ALSO BE GENERALLY

EXHIBITS WITH THE C.N.A. AND THOSE ARE OFTEN PICTURES, THEY

CAN BE MAINTENANCE RECORDS OR OTHER THINGS THAT HELP SUPPORT

THE ASSESSOR'S EVALUATION OF THE CONDITION OF THE BUILDING.

AND WHAT REPAIRS ARE NEEDED THERE.

SO NOW THAT WE HAVE TALKED ABOUT THE C.N.A. A LITTLE BIT, LET'S

TALK ABOUT THE C.N.A. e-TOOL. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WAS

DEVELOPED BY PRODUCTION, 5 ORIGINALLY FOR PRODUCTION USED

TO HAVE LENDERS TO EMIT C.N.A. WITH INSURED MORTGAGE

APPLICATIONS. IT'S BEEN IN USE AND MANDATORY

FOR PRODUCTION PROJECTS SINCE NOVEMBER 1ST.

PRODUCTION HAS BEEN USING THIS FOR A FEW MONTHS NOW

EXCLUSIVELY. WE ARE STARTING FEBRUARY 1ST

WITH OUR PROJECTS. AND IT'S REALLY A e-TOLL TO

STANDARDIZE AND STREAMLINE THE PROCESS.

WE WERE GETTING THE C.N.A.s, WE WERE GETTING THEM IN VARIOUS

FORMATS, PAPER. THIS WASN'T EASY TO ACCESS IN

THE FUTURE, DOWN THE LINE. THE C.N.A. e-TOOL IS A WAY TO

TAKE IN THE INFORMATION IN THE SAME WAY AND STORE IT IN THE

SAME WAY SO YOU WERE ABLE TO ACCESS IT IN THE FUTURE FOR

ASSET MANAGEMENT PURPOSES. THERE'S FOUR PARTS TO THE

C.N.A. e-TOOL. FIRST, THE ASSESSMENT TOOL A

LARGE EXCEL SPREADSHEET, IT HAS A LOT OF DIFFERENT PAGES.

THE NEEDS ASSESSOR FILLS THAT OUT TO ENTER THE DATA IN THE

STANDARDIZED FORMAT. THEN THERE'S A VALIDATION

ENGINE, WHICH YOU UPLOAD YOUR COMPLETED EXCEL FILE TO THE

VALIDATION ENGINE. AND IT WILL TELL YOU IF THERE'S

ANY FLAGS. AND WE'LL TALK MORE ABOUT FLAGS

LATER AS WE GO THROUGH THE ACTUAL TOOL.

THE FLAGS ARE JUST A WARNING THAT MAYBE SOMETHING IS WRONG,

EITHER THERE'S A COUNT OFF OR A PROBLEM WITH THE NEEDS

ASSESSMENT. THE FIRST TWO WILL BE USED BY

EVERYBODY. 6 THE SUBMISSION PORTAL WILL BE

USED BY LENDERS. IT'S A SECURE WEB-BASED PORTAL

THAT THEY CAN USE TO SEND THE ASSESSMENT TOOLS TO H.U.D.

THEN THE REVIEWER TOOL IS AVAILABLE IN SECURE SYSTEMS,

MANY OF YOU HAVE ACCESS AND WE'LL TALK ABOUT HOW TO GET

ACCESS IF YOU DON'T HAVE ACCESS. BUT IT SHOULD SHOW UP IN YOUR

LIST OF SECURE SYSTEMS WHEN YOU LOG IN, YOU KNOW, IN THE SAME

SCREEN AS FAST AND PATH AND ALL THE OTHER SECURE SYSTEMS.

THAT'S A WAY BY WHICH YOU CAN LOOK AT THE C.N.A. AND APPROVE

THEM IN THE REVIEWER TOOL. SO TALKING ABOUT THE

REQUIREMENTS. WE ARE REQUIRING THE C.N.A.

e-TOOL USE AS OF FEBRUARY 1ST FOR A COUPLE TYPES OF PROJECTS.

WE'RE REALLY STARTING SMALL. WE REQUIRE C.N.A.s FOR OTHER

PROJECTS, TOO. HAVE ASSIGNMENTS ON THE BIGGEST

ONE, BUT WE'RE NOT REQUIRE C.N.A. e-TOOL USE FOR HELP

ASSIGNMENTS RIGHT NOW. THE ONLY PROJECTS REQUIRED TO

USE THE C.N.A. e-TOOL AT PRESENT ARE PRAX, WITH RENT

INCREASES THAT SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT.

IF THERE'S A PRACTICAL WITH MAJOR CAPITAL NEEDED AND WANT TO

INCREASE THE RESERVE FOR REPLACEMENT ACCOUNT, EITHER BY

THE GREATER OF 5% OR $500, THEY NEED TO REQUEST H.U.D.'S

APPROVAL FOR A RENT INCREASE TO DO THAT OBVIOUSLY.

AND WE WANT THEM TO FILL OUT THIS C.N.A. e-TOOL TO MAKE

SURE THAT ANY INCREASE THAT THEY'RE REQUESTING IS SUPPORTED

BY THE CAPITAL NEEDS OF THE BUILDING.

SO AGAIN THIS IS ONLY FOR PUMP 7 RAX WITH LARGE CAPITAL NEEDS

REQUESTING AN INCREASE. WE ALSO HAVE WHAT'S CALLED

TEN-YEAR CAPITAL NEEDS UPDATES FOR INSURED MORTGAGES.

AND THOSE WERE REQUIRED FOR 223F PROJECTS INITIALLY.

IN 2011 IT WAS CHANGED TO ALL MULTI-FAMILY ENDORSEMENTS, BUT

ONLY FOR THOSE THAT WERE ENDORSED AFTER 2011.

SO 223F, TEN-YEAR UPDATES SHOULD BE COMING IN NOW.

BUT 221 D4 AND OTHER TYPES OF ENDORSEMENTS WON'T START COMING

IN, BE REQUIRED UNTIL 2021 OR SO.

SO WE'LL CERTAINLY GIVE YOU MORE NOTICE OF THAT.

FOR THE PRESENT IT'S ONLY 223F PROJECTS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT

A TEN-YEAR UPDATE TO C.N.A. THEN THERE'S ALSO PARTIAL

PAYMENT OF CLAIM AND LOAN MODIFICATIONS.

THOSE ARE FAIRLY RARE, BUT THE FOLKS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT

THROUGH THE C.N.A. e-TOOL ALSO.

IT'S ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE ESPECIALLY FOR PRAX WHERE MONEY

MIGHT BE TIGHT, THE EXPENSE IS ELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT FROM

THE RESERVE FOR REPLACEMENT ACCOUNTS.

THERE'S A PRAX THAT NEEDS TO DO, THEY CAN REQUEST REIMBURSEMENT

FOR THE STUDY. IT CAN BE KIND OF COSTLY.

THEY CAN REQUEST REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE RESERVE FOR REPLACEMENT

ACCOUNT. OKAY.

AND THEN TALKING ABOUT THE BUSINESS PROCESS.

SO WE HAVE A COUPLE DIFFERENT WAYS TO SUBMIT THESE C.N.A.,

DEPENDING ON IF THERE'S A LENDER INVOLVED.

THE PRODUCTION SIDE OF LENDERS 8 ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THESE

C.N.A.s. SO WE HAVE A LOT OF LENDERS THAT

ARE ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH THIS PROCESS AND HAVE DONE IT.

MAYBE ON THE PRODUCTION SIDE, MAYBE NOT SO MUCH ON THE

SERVICING SIDE. BUT THEY SHOULD BE FAMILIAR OR

BE ABLE TO TALK TO FOLKS ABOUT HOW TO DO IT.

I GOT A QUESTION FROM MIKE ON THE REQUIREMENT.

500 PER MONTH OR ANNUALLY? IT'S THE LARGER OF 5% OR $500.

SO $500 IS ONLY REALLY APPLICABLE FOR REALLY SMALL

PRAX. IT WOULD BE A 5% ANNUAL INCREASE

FOR MOST OTHER PRAX. BUT I KNOW WE HAVE A COUPLE

REALLY SMALL ONES OUT THERE. SO FOR INSURED MORTGAGES THE

LENDER IS GOING TO HIRE A NEEDS ASSESSOR.

THEY'LL GO THROUGH THE TOOL, DO THE THINGS, DO ALL OF THE --

FILL OUT ALL OF THE FORMS. THE LENDER WILL LOOK AT THE FORM

AND THEN SUBMIT IT THROUGH THE SUBMISSION PORTAL.

WE'RE GOING TO CENTRALLY ASSIGN THOSE AT HEADQUARTERS FOR RIGHT

NOW. THE ONLY OTHER WAY TO DO IT IS

YOU FOLKS CHECK EVERY NIGHT AND SEE IF ANYTHING IS SUBMITTED.

IT DOESN'T SEEM PRACTICAL WHEN THERE'S NOT TONS COMING IN YET.

FOR NOW WE'LL BE ASSIGNING THEM FROM HEADQUARTERS, IN THE FUTURE

WE MAY REEVALUATE THAT. BUT ONCE THAT'S APPROVED, THE

C.N.A. IS PERMANENTLY RETAINED MOUNTAIN REVIEWER TOOL.

IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PARTICULAR PROPERTY, YOU CAN GO

IN THE C.N.A. e-TOOL AND CHECK THAT OUT.

FOR PRAX PROPERTIES THE OWNER 9 HAS TO GO AHEAD AND HIRE A NEEDS

ASSESSOR. WE ARE HAVING A TRAINING FOR

JAMBALAYA OWNERS ON THURSDAY OF THIS -- PRAX OWNERS ON THURSDAY

OF THIS WEEK, TO LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THIS REQUIREMENT AND THE

NEEDS ASSESSOR, HOW TO HIRE ONE AND WHAT THEY SHOULD BE LOOKING

FOR. SO WE WANTED YOU TO HAVE THIS

TRAINING IN ADVANCE OF THAT, SO IF YOU START GETTING QUESTIONS,

HOPEFULLY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT.

BUT THEY'RE REQUIRED TO HIRE THE NEEDS ASSESSOR, GOES OUT AND

COMPLETES THE ASSESSMENT TOOL. THEY'RE GOING TO SEND YOU THE

C.N.A. FILE. SO THE ACTUAL EXCEL FILE, A

AFTER IT'S BEEN THROUGH THE VALIDATION ENGINE.

THEY NEED TO VALIDATE THE FILE, MAKE SURE ANY FLAGS ARE

ADDRESSED AND SEND IT TO YOU IN THE INCOMING EMAIL ADDRESSES.

AND THE QUESTION HERE ABOUT CAN A NEEDS ASSESSOR BE IDENTITY OF

INTEREST? THAT MIGHT BE A PRODUCTION

QUESTION. MIGHT HAVE TO LOOK AT THAT ONE.

I'M NOT SURE. KEVIN, DO YOU KNOW?

>> COULD YOU REPEAT THE QUESTION.

>> ACCOUNT NEEDS ASSESSOR BE IN IDENTITY OF INTEREST WITH THE

OWNER? >> WITH THE OWNER?

I'LL HAVE TO SAY NO. BECAUSE THE NEEDS ASSESSOR IS

SUPPOSE TO BE AN INDEPENDENT AUDITOR, SO TO SPEAK.

>> OKAY. >> I DON'T THINK I DON'T THINK

SO. >> WE THINK NO.

THAT'S A GREAT QUESTION. 10 THANKS.

THE OWNER WILL SEND IN THE C.N.A. FILE IN A LARGE ZIP FILE

TO THE DESIGNATED PERSON. YOU WILL THEN REVIEW AND APPROVE

AND MAKE SURE ALL THE FLAGS ARE ADDRESSED AND REALLY THE S.O.W.

WHERE THAT'S GOING TO COME IN, WE DEFINITELY RECOGNIZE THAT

LOOKING AT A NEEDS ASSESSMENT IS SOMETHING RATHER NEW FOR

H.U.D.'S TASKS. YOU'LL NEED DIRECTION, WHAT

CONSTITUTES A GOOD NEEDS ASSESSMENT.

WE'RE WORKING ON THOSE -- THAT IN THE S.O.W.

IN THE MEANTIME, IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, PRODUCTION STAFF ARE

GENERALLY PRETTY HAPPY TO HELP. THEY'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR A

WHILE. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO REACH OUT TO

YOUR PRODUCTION FOLKS FOR SOME ADVISEMENT IF NEED BE.

UPON APPROVAL, WHEN YOU'VE APPROVED A PRAX C.N.A., YOU'LL

SEND IT TO BRIAN MURRAY IN HEADQUARTERS.

AND HE WILL UPLOAD IT INTO THE C.N.A., USING THE SUBMISSION

TOOL. HE'LL UPLOAD IT, SO IT WILL BE

AVAILABLE IN THE TOOL FOR YOU LATER IF YOU NEED TO GO BACK AND

ACCESS IT. SO THE NEXT SLIDE IS JUST A

PROCESS CHART OF KIND OF THE SAME PROCESS THAT I JUST TALKED

ABOUT, IT'S IN CHART FORM. VISUAL FORM IF YOU'RE A VISUAL

PERSON. SO, YOU KNOW, THE LENDER HIRES

THE NEEDS ASSESSOR. NEEDS ASSESSOR DOES THE

ASSESSMENT AT THE PROPERTY, THEY SEND IN THE FILE THROUGH THE

REVIEWER, THROUGH THE SUBMISSION PORTAL.

YOU WILL GET IT IN THE PREVIEWER 11 PORTAL AND YOU WILL DO YOUR

APPROVAL -- REVIEW AND APPROVAL IN THE REVIEWER PORTAL AND THEN

YOU'LL APPROVE, THAT WILL GO BACK THROUGH THE REVIEWER PORTAL

AND THE NEEDS ASSESSMENT WILL BE THERE IN THE REVIEWER PORTAL IF

YOU NEED TO ACCESS IT AGAIN. ONE INTERESTING POLICY POINT I

WANTED TO BRING UP. WE'VE GOTTEN A COUPLE OF

EXAMPLES OUT THERE OF TIMES WHEN THE LENDER AND THE OWNER DIDN'T

AGREE WHEN THIS TEN-YEAR ASSESSMENT WAS DONE.

WHERE THE LENDER EITHER WANTS TO IMPOSE A HIGHER OR THE OWNER

DOESN'T AGREE WITH THE CRITICAL REPAIRS THAT ARE IDENTIFIED.

SOMETHING LIKE THAT. SO IT'S BEEN ASKED AND WE'RE

STILL NOT SURE. WE'RE STILL WORKING THROUGH,

WHAT'S H.U.D.'S ROLE WHEN THE OWNER AND LENDER DISAGREE ON

THIS RESERVE FOR REPLACEMENT DEPOSIT IN THE LONG-TERM.

SO JUST BE AWARE THAT WE DO KNOW ABOUT THAT POLICY ISSUE AND

WE'RE WORK ON ADDRESSING IT. BUT FOR RIGHT NOW IT'S A LITTLE

BIT OF A -- A LITTLE BIT UNCLEAR WHAT H.U.D.'S ROLE IS IN THE

EVENT OF A DISAGREEMENT THERE. SO LOOKING AT THE FLOW CHART FOR

BUSINESS PROCESS FOR UNINSURED PROPERTIES.

AGAIN THE OWNER THERE IS A THIRD-PARTY NEEDS ASSESSOR, THE

NEEDS ASSESSOR GOES OUT AND DOES THE ASSESSMENT.

THEY COME AND PROVIDE THE EXCEL FILE TO THE OWNER, THAT THEY'VE

ADDRESSED ANY FLAGS THAT MAY HAVE COME UP.

THEN THEY SEND THE FILE TO THE INCOMING EMAIL ADDRESS.

AND IT WILL GET ENTERED INTO THE CORRESPONDENCE TO RESPOND TO

TEMPERATURE YOU'LL REVIEW IT, 12 MAKE SURE AND MAKE SURE

EVERYTHING LOOKS OKAY, THEY'VE ADDRESSED ANY FLAGS AND THE

AMOUNT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR IN TERMS OF RFOR R IS SUPPORTED BY

THE NEEDS ASSESSMENT. ONCE YOU'VE APPROVED THAT OR

SENT IT BACK TO THEM FOR MORE INFORMATION, YOU CAN EITHER SEND

IT BACK FOR MORE INFORMATION OR APPROVE IT.

ONCE YOU HAVE APPROVED, YOU'LL SEND IT THEN TO BRIAN MURRAY IN

HEADQUARTERS AND HE WILL GO AHEAD AND UPLOAD THAT INTO THE

REVIEWER TOOL, SO IT WILL BE THERE IN THE REVIEWER TOOL IF

YOU NEED TO ACCESS IT IN THE

FUTURE. SO THIS IS JUST A LITTLE BIT

MORE DETAIL ABOUT SENDING UNINSURED PROPERTIES ONCE

EVERYTHING COMES TO THE ASSET MANAGEMENT OFFICE.

YOU WILL REVIEW THE TOOL, FLAG NOTES, EXHIBITS.

IT'S REALLY -- THE CHART THAT WE JUST TALKED ABOUT.

BUT MOST IMPORTANT IS SENDING IT TO BRIAN MURRAY IN HEADQUARTERS,

WHEN EVERYTHING IS COMPLETE, SO THAT IT CAN BE IN THE e-TOOL

FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. OH, YES.

AND NANCY ASKED A QUESTION. CAN YOU CLARIFY THAT C.N.A. IS

NOT REQUIRED. SO C.N.A. IS REQUIRED, BUT

C.N.A. e-TOOL USE IS NOT REQUIRED.

SO THEY DO NOT NEED TO USE THIS e-TOOL.

BUT THEY DO NEED TO SUBMIT A C.N.A. FOR H.U.D. ASSIGNMENTS.

THEY CAN SUBMIT WHATEVER FORMAT THEY WANT.

LORI ASKED HOW DO WE HANDLE PRAX PROPERTIES WITH AN INFORMAL

15-YEAR CAPITAL PLAN, WITH FUTURE DEPOSIT INCREASES OVER 13

5%? SO IF THAT'S BEEN ALREADY

APPROVED, I THINK THEY'RE FINE. IT'S ONLY FOR NEW PROPERTIES

THAT ARE COMING IN FOR A NEW INCREASE IN THEIR R FOR R.

THAT'S WHEN THEY WOULD NEED TO SUBMIT A CAPITAL PLAN.

WE REALLY JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE, IF ANY PRAX ARE LOOKING TO

MAKE MAJOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS, WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE

LOOKING AT EVERYTHING, MAKING SURE THEY'RE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT

EVERYTHING THAT THEY NEED TO DO TO KEEP THEIR PROPERTY HEALTHY

IN THE LONG-TERM. AND SO I'M GOING TO TURN IT OVER

TO SHAUN WHO IS GOING TO WALK THROUGH THE ASSESSMENT TOOL.

SO, SHAUN? >> HELLO.

GOOD MORNING. I'M GOING TO BE GOING OVER THE

ASSESSMENT TOOL. WHAT ARE THE FORMS THAT ARE IN

THERE, WHAT'S REQUIRED, I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU EXACTLY WHAT

IT LOOKS LIKE IN THE EXCEL. IT'S AN EXCEL-BASED ASSESSMENT

TOOL THAT IS PROGRAMMED WITH VISUAL BASIC.

AND THEN AFTER IT'S COMPLETED, IT WILL GO INTO THE VALIDATION

ENGINE, WHICH IS PROGRAMMED IN JAVA AND IT WILL PRODUCE THE

RESULTS. KEVIN, MY COLLEAGUE, IS GOING TO

BE GOING OVER THAT NEXT. BUT LET ME FIRST GIVE YOU SOME

TRAINING ON THE ASSESSMENT TOOL. YOU'RE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR

FILLING IT OUT. I JUST WANT TO BE CLEAR ON THAT.

BUT I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT THE NEEDS ASSESSOR AND LENDER

WILL BE FILLING OUT. ALL RIGHT.

FIRST, LET ME GO AHEAD AND SHOW YOU WHERE YOU CAN FIND 14

INFORMATION ON THE ASSESSMENT TOOL, IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN

MORE INFORMATION, YOU'LL SEE I WENT TO THE C.N.A. e-TOOL HOME

PAGE. AND THEN I WENT TO WEBINARS AND

TUTORIALS. I WENT AHEAD AND COMPRESSIONED

THAT -- PRESSED THAT. THIS IS BASICALLY EVERY SINGLE

FORM IN THE ASSESSMENT TOOL, IF YOU WANT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT

IT, BASICALLY DAVID WIL DERMAN AND I FILMED EVERY SINGLE FORM

AND HOW TO FILL IT OUT. SO LET ME ALSO SHOW YOU -- OKAY.

SO WHAT IS THE ASSESSMENT TOOL? WELL, IT IS A -- IT'S ABOUT 15

FORMS THAT ARE FILLED OUT BY THE NEEDS ASSESSOR.

YOU CAN GET TO IT BY GOING TO THE C.N.A. e-TOOL HOME PAGE.

JUST GO TO GOOGLE.COM, TYPE IN C.N.A. e-TOOL.

SEARCH. THE VERY FIRST THING THAT POPS

UP IS THE C.N.A. e-TOOL HOME PAGE.

AND THEN YOU'LL SEE ASSESSMENT TOOL.

LET ME JUST OUTLINE THIS HERE, SO YOU KNOW WHERE IT CAN BE

FOUND IF ANYONE ASKS. YOU GOT THE ASSESSMENT TOOL.

WE CURRENTLY POSTED VERSION 4 AROUND MARCH 1ST, WE HOPE TO

POST VERSION 5. EVERY VERSION WE POST WILL BE

BETTER THAN THE LAST. WITH MORE FUNCTIONALITY.

SO THIS IS VERSION 4 OF THE ASSESSMENT TOOL.

YOU CAN SEE THE VERSION WHEN IT WAS RELEASED.

LIKE I SAID THERE ARE 15 FORMS. THESE ARE TO BE FILLED OUT BY

THE NEEDS ASSESSOR, LENDER, OWNER.

MOSTLY THE NEEDS ASSESSOR SEQUENTIALLY. 15

SO YOU FILL OUT THE PARTICIPANT FORM FIRST.

AND WHAT I HAVE HERE, THIS IS YOUR VISUAL BASIC AND BEHIND

THIS IS THE EXCEL WORKSHEET THAT GOES WITH IT.

YOU'LL NOTICE YOU CAN UPDATE THEM BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.

BUT WE RECOMMEND THAT THEY FILL OUT THE FORMS AND THE VISUAL

BASIC. SO I SEE A QUESTION.

OKAY. I'LL GET TO YOUR QUESTION ABOUT

THE INTERNAL USER MANUAL. LET ME FIRST EXPLAIN THE

ASSESSMENT TOOL FIRST. SO, OKAY, SO YOU'VE GOT THE

PARTICIPANT FORM. THE PROPERTY FORM.

THE SITES FORM AND ALL OF THESE ARE TIED TO EACH OTHER.

THIS IS A COMPLETED SAMPLE. SO YOU ALL CAN SEE WHAT IT LOOKS

LIKE. AND SO BASICALLY THESE FIRST 13

FORMS ARE PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROPERTY

AND THEN YOU'LL NOTICE THAT THE TWO FORMS AT THE END ARE COLOR

CODED IN GREEN AND THOSE ARE FINANCIALLY RELATED.

KEVIN HAHN, IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING YOU WANTED TO ADD ON THE

ASSESSMENT TOOL? EXCELLENT.

IN A NUTSHELL, THAT'S BASICALLY THE ASSESSMENT TOOL THAT'S

FILLED OUT BY THE NEEDS ASSESSOR.

PRIMARILY. IF ANYONE EVER WANTS

INSTRUCTIONS, ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS CAN BE FOUND ON THE

WEB PAGE, INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE C.N.A. e-TOOL, WHERE

WE'VE EXPLAINED IN DETAIL HOW TO FILL OUT THE ASSESSMENT TOOL.

SO, YES, JANICE GORDON SAID THAT -- SHE'S SAYING THERE'S AN ISSUE 16

WITH THE INTERNAL USER MANUAL. I HAVE NOTICED THIS AS WELL.

I RECOMMEND USING GOOGLE CHROME, WHICH TENDS TO UPLOAD IT A

LITTLE QUICKER THAN INTERNET EXPLORER.

YOU DON'T HAVE GOOGLE CHROME, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO CALL THE HITS

HELP DESK TO GET IT. THIS IS A BIG FILE.

I'M GOING TO TRY AND UP-- OPEN IT NOW.

IT DOES WORK. YOU SEE IT OPENED JUST THERE.

AND THIS REALLY EXPLAINS HOW TO NAVIGATE THE REVIEWER TOOL,

WHICH KEVIN HAHN IS GOING TO BE EXPLAINING HOW TO DO.

SO HAVING SAID THAT, I THINK -- DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ASSESSMENT TOOL?

LIKE I SAID, YOU'RE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR FILLING THIS

OUT. BUT IT IS THE WAY THAT OUTSIDE,

YOU KNOW, NEEDS ASSESSORS ARE PUTTING IN THE DATA THAT WE NEED

TO FILL OUT A CAPITAL NEEDS ASSESSMENT.

HAVING SAID THAT I TURN IT OVER TO KEVIN HAHN, WHO WILL EXPLAIN

HOW TO DO A VALIDATION AND THEN WE'RE ALSO GOING OVER THE

REVIEWER TOOL. HERE YOU ARE, KEVIN.

>> GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE. IF WE COULD GO BACK TO THE SLIDE

DECK. >> SURE.

>> WE'LL GO THROUGH THAT. OKAY.

SO I'LL TALK ABOUT THE VALIDATION ENGINE, THE REVIEWER

PORTAL. JUST A TORATE -- REITERATE.

IT'S LIKE A BUCKET, IF YOU WILL. EXCEPT THE BUCKET HAS DIFFERENT

COMPARTMENTS. SO IT'S A WAY TO TAKE IN THE 17

INFORMATION WITH DIFFERENT CATEGORIES AND ORGANIZE THEM IN

THE WAY THAT WE WOULD LIKE. SO LET'S CREATE THIS.

THIS BUCKET COLLECTS INFORMATION AND THE DATA THAT H.U.D. CARES

ABOUT THE MOST. IN THE WAY THAT WE WANT TO SEE

THEM IN THE VERY STADDIZED FORMAT, COULD WE CAN REVIEW THEM

MORE EFFICIENTLY. THE VALIDATION ENGINE IS THE

BUCKET OF INFORMATION. THIS BUCKET OF INFORMATION THAT

WE COLLECTED. IT GETS WEIGHED AND MEASURED AND

ASSESSED BEFORE BEING POURED INTO THE DATABASE.

THE LOCATION OF THE VALIDATION ENGINE IS PUBLICLY AVAILABLE IN

OUR -- ON OUR C.N.A. WEB PAGE FOR NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND ALSO

USERS. IT'S ALSO EMBEDDED INTO THE

LENDER SUBMISSION PORTAL. AND YOU CAN ALSO FIND IT UNDER

OUR H.U.D. REVIEWER PORTAL AS WELL.

WHAT THE VALIDATION ENGINE DOES IT TAKES IN ALL OF THE

INFORMATION AND CHECKS AGAINST H.U.D.'S REGULATIONS AND RULES.

ALSO LOOKS AT THE NUMERICAL DATA, THE DEPOSIT AMOUNTS, THE

FUTURE EXPECTED EXPENSES AND THINGS LIKE THAT AND PROVIDES

IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK. IN A MATTER OF SECONDS

VALIDATION ENGINE TAKES IN THE INFORMATION, THE BUCKET OF

INFORMATION AND ASSESSES THAT AND PROVIDES IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK.

AND THAT FEEDBACK IS DONE THROUGH WHAT WE CALL A FLAG.

NEXT SLIDE. SO THE VALIDATION ENGINE SYSTEM

AUTOMATICALLY GENERATES THESE FLAG NOTES ABOUT THE PROPERTY.

THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF FLAGS. THE FIRST IS A SEVERE FLAG. 18

THESE FLAGS INDICATE THINGS ABOUT THE PROPERTY OR ERRORS IN

THE ASSESSMENT TOOL. THAT ARE JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE

ACCORDING TO H.U.D.'S RULES AND RECREATIONS.

THAT MUST BE FIXED. SO, FOR EXAMPLE, LET'S SAY THE

NEEDS ASSESSOR SAID THERE'S A BUILDING ON SITE, HE PUT NO

NUMBER TO THAT BUILDING OR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE

BUILDING. IT'S VERY KIND OF GLARING ERROR

THAT MUST BE FIXED. NOW FROM THE H.U.D.'S REVIEWER'S

SIDE, WE WILL NEVER SEE THE FLAGS, BECAUSE UNLESS THE SEVERE

FLAGS ARE FIXED, THE C.N.A. CANNOT BE SUBMITTING IN THE

FIRST PLACE. NOW THE INFORMATION FLAGS ARE

THE NEXT TYPE OF FLAGS. THESE ARE INDICATED AS -- I'LL

SHOW YOU THE LATER ONES WHEN WE GET INTO THE REVIEWER PORTAL.

THE INFORMATIONAL FLAGS, AS IT SAYS, IT'S JUST FOR YOUR

INFORMATION. IT'S A C.N.A. e-TOOL SAYING WE

NOTICED THIS, I'LL KEEP THIS IN AND SO ON AND SO FORTH.

THE WARNING FLAGS, THESE ARE INDICATED AS "W" IN THE REVIEW

PORTAL. THE WARNING FLAGS ARE THE FLAGS

WE SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO. THESE ARE THE ITEMS THAT THE

C.N.A. e-TOOL IS SAYING EITHER QUESTIONABLE OR THINGS ARE

OUTSIDE OF H.U.D.'S ACCEPTED PRACTICES.

AND THEN THE SUBMITTER TYPICALLY THE LENDER WORKING WITH THE

OWNER MUST EXPLAIN THEM OR ADJUST THEM.

OKAY. SO LET'S GO AHEAD AND JUMP INTO

THE REVIEWER TOOLS. KIND OF TAKE IT STEP-BY-STEP FOR 19

YOU. OKAY NOW WITH THE H.U.D. STAFF

THROUGH ALL OF THIS READING OF THE FLAGS AND I SHOULD LOOK AT

THE CONTENT OF THE C.N.A. IT'S THE REVIEWER TOOL.

NOW I WANT TO EMPHASIZE ONCE AGAIN THAT THIS IS PRIMARILY FOR

THE F.H.A. INSURED PROPERTIES, WHERE THE LENDER IS INVOLVED.

FOR PRAX IT WILL BE DONE OUTSIDE OF THE REVIEWER PORTAL AND THEN

JEN CAN EXPLAIN THAT AND SHOW THE FLOW CHART FOR IT.

ONCE AGAIN WHAT I'M ABOUT TO SHOW YOU IN TERMS OF THE

REVIEWER PORTAL AND WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO SEE WITHIN THE REVIEWER

PORTAL, THESE ARE THE C.N.A. SUBMITTED BY A LENDER.

SO IT'S PRIMARILY FOR INSURED PROPERTIES.

OKAY. SO GOING BACK TO THE BUCKET.

THE BUCKET INFORMATION AFTER GETTING VALIDATED AND ASSESSED,

GETS POURED INTO OUR DATABASE. AND THAT'S WHAT WE CALL THIS

SUBMISSION OF C.N.A. e-TOOL.

THE LENDERS WOULD DO THAT FOR THE INSURED DEALS.

ONCE THE C.N.A. IS SUBMITTED TO OUR DATABASE, AS H.U.D. STAFF WE

GO TO THE REVIEWER PORTAL TO OPEN UP THAT C.N.A. AND DO OUR

REVIEW. SO WE'LL GO AHEAD AND SHOW YOU

WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE REVIEWER PORTAL.

DID YOU SAY THE PRAX SUBMISSION WILL NOT SHOW IN THE PORTAL?

IT WILL NOT BE SUBMITTED BY THE LENDER.

AND AGAIN I THINK JEN WENT OVER BRIEFLY THROUGH THE FLOW CHARTS.

FOLLOWS A DIFFERENT FORMAT. SO YOU CAN, YOU KNOW, GO BACK TO

THAT AND LOOK AT THAT WHOLE PROCESS. 20

IN MORE DETAIL. >> THIS IS JEN.

IT WON'T SHOW UP IN THE REVIEWER PORTAL UNTIL YOU SEND IT TO

HEADQUARTERS AND HAVE BRIAN UPLOAD IT INTO THE PORTAL.

SO YOU WON'T BE APPROVING IT IN THE REVIEWER PORTAL.

>> YEP. >> JUST QUICK HOW TO GET TO THE

REVIEWER PORTAL. I'M SORRY.

THE REVIEWER TOOL. SUBMISSION PORTAL, REVIEWER

TOOL. AND WHAT WE DID WAS WE WENT TO

THE C.N.A. e-TOOL HOME PAGE, WE WENT TO H.U.D. REVIEWER.

VERY FIRST ITEM UNDER H.U.D. REVIEWER AND THAT WILL TAKE YOU

TO INTERNAL SECURE SYSTEMS. I PRESSED OKAY ON THE SPLASH

PAGE. AND THEN YOU'LL NOTICE IN THE

MAIN MENU ON SECURE SYSTEMS, FOR THOSE WHO NEVER USED BEFORE,

THIS IS THE APPLICATION THAT YOU PRESS.

C.N.A. e-TOOL. NOW JUST TO KNOW, IF YOU'RE IN

SECURE SYSTEMS AND YOU DON'T HAVE C.N.A. e-TOOL, IT'S

BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE A C.N.A. e-TOOL ROLE.

AND IN ORDER TO GET YOU A CANDIDATE e-TOOL ROLE, WE WILL

NEED YOUR RULES OF BEHAVIOR, AND I WILL WORK WITH C.N.A. e-TOOL

SYSTEMS SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ENSURE YOU GET YOUR ROLE IN A

VERY TIMELY FASHION. JUST EMAIL US AT CNAACCESS

@HUD.GOV. WE'LL GET YOU YOUR ROLES AS SOON

AS POSSIBLE. >> IT'S A SYSTEM WHERE YOU LOSE

ACCESS IF YOU DON'T ACCESS IT EVERY 60 DAYS.

IF YOU DON'T, MAYBE IT'S BETTER TO WAIT ON ACCESS UNTIL YOU NEED 21

IT. >> OKAY.

>> IT'S UP TO YOU. >> OKAY.

YEAH. >> OKAY.

SO HERE WE ARE. ONCE YOU LOG INTO THE F.H.A.

CONNECTION. YOU'LL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE

REVIEWER TOOL. SO IT IS A WEB-PAGE BASED TOOL.

UP HERE YOU'LL SEE THREE TABS, WHERE WE WANT TO FIND THE C.N.A.

IS WITHIN THIS LOCATE A C.N.A. TAB.

ONCE YOU CLICK ON THAT. IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY POPULATE

YOUR NAME FOR YOU HERE. WE LOGGED IN AS JENNIFER LARSON,

THAT'S WHY HER NAME IS POPPING UP.

IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE C.N.A. THAT'S BEEN SUBMITTED AND THAT

ARE CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW OR -- I'M SORRY UNDER SUBMITTED

STATUS. ALL YOU'LL DO IS BLANK OUT THE

NAME UP HERE. AND GO DOWN TO HERE INTERNAL

STATUS. >> LIKE I SAID THE GOOGLE.COM.

AND I TYPED IN C.N.A. e-TOOL. AND THE VERY FIRST ITEM THAT

WILL COME UP IS THE C.N.A. e-TOOL HOME PAGE.

LET ME TELL BUT THE ADDITIONAL RESOURCE.

WE HAVE BASICALLY H.U.D. REVIEWER.

THIS IS WHAT YOU ALL SHOULD BE, YOU KNOW, CONCERNED ABOUT.

EVENTUALLY WE WILL GET MORE INFORMATION FOR PRAX AND OTHER

GUIDANCE AND OBVIOUSLY TODAY'S TUTORIAL WE'RE GOING TO POST

THAT AS WELL. BUT THIS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE

REVIEWER TOOL. THIS IS THE INTERNAL USER 22

MANUAL. RECOMMEND READING THAT.

IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT USER ACCESS, HELP DESK SUPPORT,

THAT'S ALL IN THE H.U.D. USER ACCESS GUIDE.

SO LIKE, FOR INSTANCE, YOUR SECURE SYSTEMS LOCKDOWN, WHO DO

YOU CALL? NOT THE HITS HELP DESK.

IF YOU HAVE A LAND PASSWORD ISSUE, YOU CALL THE HITS HELP

DESK. THAT'S ALL EXPLAINED IN THE USER

MANUAL AND WE'RE POSTING A TUTORIAL VERY SOON EXPLAINING

THAT. LET'S SEE.

WHAT ELSE? THE MAP GUIDE.

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHERE TO FIND THE MAP GUIDE, IT'S RIGHT

HERE. MULTI-FAMILY MAP GUIDE.

SEE APPENDIX 5G. YOU PRESS THAT AND YOU WOULD GO

DOWN TO APEN -- APPEDICES. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT WHERE

OUR WEBINARS AND TUTORIALS ARE, WHICH I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

WATCHING -- JUST GO HERE, CLICK ON THAT.

YOU'LL SEE WE HAVE A C.N.A. e-TOOL LET'S GET STARTED

TUTORIAL. WE'VE GOT AN ASSESSMENT TOOL,

WHICH WILL GO OVER EVERY SINGLE FORM.

WE'VE GOT -- WE'RE GOING TO BE ADDING THE USER ACCESS FOR

H.U.D. EMPLOYEES VERY SOON. AND THEN WE'RE GOING TO BE

POSTING TODAY'S RECORDING UNDER ONE OF THEIR WEBINARS.

SO WE HAVE THAT THERE. LET'S SEE.

WHAT ELSE WE'VE GOT? IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT

TRAINING MODULES, THOSE ARE HERE. 23

IT'S ON THE H.U.D. EXCHANGE. WE HAVE OVER 2,200 USERS

CURRENTLY. HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH THEM IS

THROUGH OPERATIONAL BULLETINS. YOU ARE -- IF YOU HAVE A C.N.A.

e-TOOL ROLE, YOU'RE ONE OF OUR USERS.

YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN THESE OPERATIONAL BULLETINS.

IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, WE HAVE SOMETHING CALLED REQUEST A

QUESTION HELP DESK SUPPORT. WHAT YOU'LL WANT TO DO IS GO TO

THIS PAGE, CLICK "ASK A QUESTION."

IT WILL SAY LEAVE THE HOME PAGE, THAT'S FINE.

JEN LARSON CURRENTLY HAS A H.U.D. EXCHANGE ACCOUNT.

SO IF YOU DON'T, YOU'LL HAVE TO REGISTER FOR ONE.

BUT AS JEN ALREADY DOES HAVE ONE, SHE WOULD JUST PUT IN HER

NAME AND A BUNCH OF INFORMATION AND THEN SHE WOULD BE ABLE TO

ASK QUESTIONS, WHICH WOULD THEN GET ROUTED TO THE APPROPRIATE

PERSON TO TRIAGE AND ANSWER THOSE QUESTIONS.

SO THAT IS ASK A QUESTION, HELP DESK FUNCTIONALITY.

ROLES OF BEHAVIOR. IF YOU HAVEN'T SIGNED IT, IT CAN

BE FOUND HERE. JUST CLICK THAT P.D.F.

PRINT IT, SIGN IT, AND THEN EMAIL IT TO C.N.A. ACCESS.

WE'LL GET YOU A ROLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE, KEVIN, THAT YOU CAN THINK OF AS FAR AS

RESOURCES? DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS

ABOUT RESOURCES OR ITEMS AVAILABLE?

HAVING SAID THAT I'LL GO BACK TO THE DECK.

AND SEE IF THERE'S ANYTHING ELSE WE NEED TO COVER. 24

OH, RIGHT HERE ON SLIDE 18, IT WAS INCLUDE THE ON THE INVITE, A

PREVIOUSLY RECORDED TRAINING ON HOW TO NAVIGATE THE REVIEWER

TOOL. SO I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

WATCHING THAT. OH, SOMEBODY JUST ASKED WHAT'S

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WEBINAR AND A TUTORIAL?

WELL, A TUTORIAL IS METROPOLITANS TO BE LIKE A

SPECIFIC TOPIC, LIKE USER ACCESS OR LIKE, YOU KNOW, HOW TO USE

E.P.A. PORTFOLIO MANAGER. THAT'S SOMETHING LENDERS DO.

THEY GET THEIR ENERGY PROFESSIONAL TO DO THAT.

A WEBINAR IS A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT, IN THEY TEND TO BE

LONGER AND THEY TEND TO BE TRAINING-BASED, LIKE WHAT WE'RE

DOING TODAY IS CONSIDERED A WEBINAR, NOT A TUTORIAL.

BECAUSE WHAT WE WANT TO DO IS WE WANT TO GET SOME QUICK, CONCISE

TUTORIALS THAT WILL TELL YOU EXACTLY SPECIFICALLY HOW DO I DO

THIS ONE TOPIC. LIKE HOW DO I UNDERSTAND -- WE

PLAN TO DO MANY MORE TUTORIALS, LIKE HOW DO WE NAVIGATE ALL THE,

YOU KNOW, REPORTS. HOW DO WE UNDERSTAND ALL THE

PANELS? HOW DO WE UNDERSTAND

ATTACHMENTS? THESE ARE ALL GREAT THINGS WE

WANT TO GET TO WHEN TIME PERMITS.

OF COURSE. I WENT OVER THE REFERENCE

MATERIALS. THEY'RE HERE.

ALSO LIKE I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT ASK A QUESTION,

HELP DESK SUPPORT IS. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, CHANCES

ARE WE'VE PROBABLY ALREADY ANTICIPATED THEM. 25

BUT WE'RE ACTUALLY GOING TO BE POSTING IT PRETTY SOON A LISTING

OF A BUNCH OF FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON THE HOME PAGE.

BUT THAT'S ALSO A GREAT RESOURCE.

AND BY YOU ASKING QUESTIONS, IT WILL HELP US BUILD OUR BODY OF

KNOWLEDGE AS WELL, WHICH IS ALWAYS HELPFUL.

>> THAT'S A GOOD POINT TO MENTION.

THIS IS JEN. HI.

I GOT A QUESTION YESTERDAY ALREADY FROM THE TRAINING

YESTERDAY ABOUT IF PRAX WANT TO INCREASE THEIR RESERVE FOR

REPLACEMENT BY MORE THAN 5%, BUT THEY DO NOT -- THEY CAN DO SO

WITHIN THEIR EXISTING RENT, THEY'RE NOT REQUESTING A RENT

INCREASE. DO THEY STILL HAVE TO SUBMIT THE

C.N.A. e-TOOL? THE ANSWER IS NO, AS LONG AS

THEY'RE NOT REQUESTING A RENT INCREASE, THEY CAN REARRANGE

THEIR BUDGET AND DO MORE THAN A 5% INCREASE.

THEY'RE ONLY REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THE C.N.A. e-TOOL IF THEY'RE

REQUESTING A BUDGET INCREASE THAT REFLECTS -- A RENT INCREASE

THAT AFFECTS THEIR R FOR R IN A SIGNIFICANT WAY, WHICH WE'RE

DEFINING AS 5% OR GREATER. SO I DID ALSO GET ANOTHER

EMAILED QUESTION ABOUT THE 5% OR $500, WHETHER $500 MEANS PER

UNIT. FORGET THAT I SAID $500.

IT'S GOING TO BE 5% FOR THE MOST PROPERTIES, IT'S THE GREATER OF

5% OR $500. SO WE HAVE A COUPLE, ONE, TWO,

THREE-UNIT PRAX WHERE $500 IS MORE THAN 5% OF THE RESERVE.

BUT FOR THE VAST MAJORITY, IT'S GOING TO BE THAT 5% NUMBER. 26

HOPEFULLY THAT HELPS CLEAR THINGS UP.

>> OKAY. THERE'S ONE QUESTION I WANT TO

ADDRESS AS PART OF THE QUESTION. GETTING TO NUMBER THREE.

WERE THE NEEDS ASSESSORS FAMILIAR WITH THE TOOL ALREADY?

SO AS WE'RE GEARING UP TO IMPLEMENT C.N.A. e-TOOL FOR

THE PRODUCTION, WE ACTUALLY LAUNCHED ABOUT TWO WEEKS WORTH

OF TRAINING. DAVID WILDERMAN WENT OUT INTO

DIFFERENT OFFICES AND HELD TRAINING SESSIONS FOR THE

LENDERS, AS WELL AS THE NEEDS ASSESSORS AND THEN WHAT WE DID

AFTER THAT IS WE HIRED CONSULTANTS AND WE DID A WAVE

TWO TRAINING, WHERE WE WERE ABLE TO TRAIN IN OUR FIELD OFFICES

MORE OF THE LENDERS AND THE NEEDS ASSESSORS.

THERE ARE A LOT OF NEEDS -- NEEDS ASSESSORS OUT THERE RIGHT

NOW BY H.U.D.'S CONSULTANTS THEY'VE BEEN HIRED.

THE SHORT ANSWER IS YES, DEFINITELY FAMILIAR.

UNLESS YOU SAW KIND OF WHEN I WAS KIND OF GOING THROUGH THE

TOOL, THERE ARE A BUNCH OF C.N.A.s SUBMITTED ALREADY.

FROM OUR LATEST COUNT -- >> OVER 150.

>> YEAH. ALREADY RECEIVED OVER 150

C.N.A.s. >> YES.

>> BUT WE HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED ANY ASSET MANAGEMENT C.N.A.

WE KNEW THAT'S A QUESTION. >> OKAY.

>> QUESTION FOR JEN. >> IT SAYS I THINK THE

DISCONNECT MAY BE THAT ASSET MANAGEMENT WILL WANT TO SEE A

C.N.A. FOR A LARGE R FOR R INCREASE REGARDLESS OF A RENT 27

INCREASE. WHY NOT HAVE THEM SUBMIT THROUGH

THE C.N.A. e-TOOL? >> SO IN -- I CAN DEFINITELY

CLARIFY THAT POLICY AND MAKE SURE.

BUT IT'S MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY ONLY NEED TO COME TO H.U.D.

IF THEY ARE -- IF THEY'RE, YOU KNOW, NEED AN INCREASE IN THEIR

BUDGET. OTHERWISE THEY CAN REQUEST TO

INCREASE THEIR R FOR R. AS LONG AS WE'RE NOT INCREASING

THE RENT, WE DON'T GENERALLY PROVIDE A LOT OF REVIEW.

YEAH. I CAN DOUBLE CHECK IT AND MAKE

SURE THAT THAT'S CORRECT. BUT I THINK THAT WOULD BE A

FAIRLY RARE CASE, WHERE A PRAX COULD INCREASE THEIR R FOR

R WITHOUT A BUDGET RENT INCREASE.

WE GENERALLY ARE PRETTY TIGHT WITH THEIR BUDGETS.

HAPPY TO TALK ABOUT THOSE INDIVIDUAL CASES, TOO.

>> AND THAT WILL BE IN THE STATEMENT OF WORK AS WELL,

RIGHT? >> YEAH.

WE CAN INCLUDE THAT IN THE STATEMENT OF WORK.

>> OKAY. NEXT QUESTION FROM JANICE.

SO IF A MONTHLY DEPOSIT IS $2,000 AND 5% IS $100, THEN THE

e-TOOL ISN'T NEEDED BECAUSE IT ISN'T $500, RIGHT?

>> SO IT'S -- YEAH, 5%. IT'S THE GREATER OF 5% OR $500.

EVEN IF THE MONTHLY PAYMENT WAS $20,000 AND 5% WAS, YOU KNOW,

$1,000, THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO SUBMIT.

AS LONG AS IT'S NOT OVER 5%. >> OKAY.

>> I FEEL LIKE I HAVE CONFUSED THINGS BY ADDING THE $500. 28

IT'S GREATER OF 5% OR $500. >> OKAY.

>> TAKING THAT LANGUAGE I THINK FROM THE BUDGET OF RENT INCREASE

HANDBOOK CHAPTER. POSSIBLY WORKING WITH THE

CHAPTER THAT'S IN DRAFT FORM. >> SO WE DO HAVE ABOUT FIVE

MINUTES LEFT. JANICE NOTES THAT THERE ARE A

LOT OF PROPERTIES WHERE 5% IS LESS THAN $500.

>> RIGHT. >> OKAY.

>> YEAH. IT DEPENDS ON IF YOU'RE LOOKING

AT MONTHLY CONTRIBUTION OR ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION.

SO I THINK, YOU KNOW, THIS -- STICK WITH 5% UNLESS IT'S A

REALLY SMALL PRAX, THE MONTHLY DEPOSIT IS $100 AND THEY'RE

LOOKING AT, YOU KNOW, A -- YOU KNOW, ANOTHER $100 WOULD BE --

WAY OVER 5%. BUT STILL LESS THAN $500.

IF THAT MAKES SENSE. PART OF THAT IS BECAUSE REALLY

THE ECONOMY OF DOING THIS KIND OF STUDY, THE STUDIES RIGHT NOW

ARE COSTING $6,000 TO $8,000 TO DO THIS KIND OF C.N.A.

SO IT'S JUST REALLY NOT WORTH IT TO DO IT FOR A $500 INCREASE IN

THE R FOR R, IF THAT MAKES

SENSE. WE'RE A REALLY SMALL PROPERTY.

>> OKAY. DOESN'T APPEAR THAT WE HAVE --

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS FOR KEVIN AND I?

MAYBE MORE ON THE FUNCTIONALITY AS OPPOSED TO THE POLICY?

>> GOING ONCE, GOING TWICE. >> HOLD ON, WE'VE GOT A QUESTION

COMING. OKAY.

I GUESS, YEAH. THAT'S TRUE.

YOU'LL FIND OUT WHEN YOU USE IT 29 MORE.

YES, THAT IS CORRECT. >> OKAY.

I THINK THAT'S PRETTY MUCH IT FOR US.

>> I DO WANT TO JUST SAY BRIAN AND I ARE GOING TO WORK ON

PUTTING OUT SOME TUTORIALS FOR YOU ALL, WHICH SHOULD CERTAINLY

HELP WHEN YOU ALL START USING IT MORE.

>> YEAH. WE'RE REALLY TRYING TO DESIGN

THESE AS SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN GO IN AND ACCESS WHEN YOU NEED

IT. SO WHEN YOU GET SUBMISSION,

BECAUSE IT MAY BE THREE MONTHS OR SIX MONTHS OR HOWEVER LONG

UNTIL YOU GET A SUBMISSION, YOU MIGHT NEED TO GO BACK AND

REFRESH AND EITHER WATCH THIS TRAINING AGAIN OR USE A TUTORIAL

THAT BRIAN AND SHAUN ARE GOING TO PUT OUT.

HOPEFULLY MAKE THOSE AVAILABLE TO YOU VERY SOON.

>> YEP. AND LIKE I SAID, PLEASE SEND ME

YOUR RULES OF BEHAVIOR. WE'LL MAKE SURE YOU GET A ROLE.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. >> OKAY.

GREAT. THANK YOU, EVERYONE.

GlobalVite - Vitamin & Mineral Supplement For Your Horse | Naylors Equestrian - Duration: 1:03.

Hi everyone I'm Chloe from Global Herbs and today we're here to talk about

GlobalVite. GlobalVites our feed balancer supplement, it's great as a

wellness supplement, it contains a higher specification of vitamins and

minerals. All our vitamins and minerals in GlobalVite are chelated so all that means

is they are readily available and easily absorbed within the horse's body. Really

important to consider your horse's own individual needs when it comes to GlobalVite

every horse is different in what they absorb and what they need at

different times of the year. GlobalVite can be fed daily and you'll see the

benefits in the skin condition joints and it will also help the development

and improvement of hooves. I hope you found this video helpful, any more

advice come down to Naylors and speak to the staff here. Thank you for watching,

7 career questions for up & coming marketers - Duration: 8:32.

(bright music)

(rocket whooshes)

- Hey, what's up, everybody?

Chris Mechanic here from WebMechanix,

co-founder and CEO of WebMechanix, very excited to be here.

Usually, I talk about marketing tips and hacks

and tactics and techniques.

Today, I'm gonna talk about something a little bit different.

I'm gonna talk about career advice,

specifically for digital marketers,

and even more specifically

for that up and coming digital marketer.

So there's a lot that's been written about

how to get into digital marketing.

I, myself, have done pieces for like,

if you're brand new, how to get in.

But this is really for the up -nd-comer.

And the up-and-comer is somebody that has some experience,

you know, maybe a year or two or three years of experience,

starting to feel kind of comfortable in their skin,

kind of confident, maybe you've posted some wins lately,

you've gotten some recognition, maybe you've been promoted,

and at a certain point, something starts happening.

It's kind of like that Hierarchy of Needs triangle,

where, like, at the very bottom, there's food and shelter,

and then, at the very top,

there's, like, spiritual enlightenment.

The idea is that you're never gonna really start thinking

on the realm of spiritual enlightenment

if you have no food and shelter, so you sort of progress.

So once you become kind of comfortable in your skin

and you have posted some wins and you're getting recognized,

there's a human tendency to kind of step back

and to think like, to start asking some bigger questions,

like is this right for me?

Like, do I wanna make a career out of this?

Am I in the right role?

Maybe you're a pay-per-click advertiser

or a social advertiser, like is that the right place?

Is this the right organization?

And so today, I'm gonna deliver seven

kind of pieces of advice, in the form of questions

that I wish somebody would have delivered to me

in the early days.

So, in case you don't know me,

like I said, I'm co-founder and CEO here at WebMechanix.

I've been a digital marketer for about 15 years.

I started WebMechanix almost 10 years ago.

I've worked with thousands of organizations

of all different types, big ones, small ones,

local ones, national, international,

product companies, service companies, agencies, you name it.

And I've personally recruited, hired, and/or trained

north of 250-some digital marketers.

So I've been around the block.

So here are the seven things

that I wish somebody would have told me to ask.

First and foremost is like, is this organization growing?

Or generally, is the space that I'm in growing?

Now, if you're in any form of digital marketing,

the chances are yes,

because the demand is just surging for that.

But it's really easy for companies to put on

a face that they're growing,

where really they're not growing.

And the telltale sign as to whether

somebody's really growing or some company is really growing

is what they call churn.

So in the software business, they call it churn.

And it basically means

the rate at which you're losing customers.

And it also applies to employees.

So if there's a large amount of churn in terms of customers

or employees, like if it's a revolving door

and you're constantly seeing people coming and going,

that's a telltale sign that something might not be right.

Number two is DNA.

So if you're a digital marketer, you wanna be the best.

And you want an organization,

you want to be at an organization

that's gonna support that,

that's gonna kind of bring you up,

as opposed to you having to drag them.

So I call it DNA, and the question is,

is digital in the DNA of this organization,

like, did they start with digital?

Like Google is a prime example.

They're digital DNA, 100%.

They probably don't have a printer in all of Google.

They're probably just all digital.

The opposite would be, for instance,

like if your company's DNA is in print or direct mail,

and they've recently added digital as an offering.

Then you might find yourself in a scenario where

you're getting a lot of kudos and you're getting recognition

because they're really impressed with what you're doing,

but you might consider what you're doing

to be relatively basic.

And so what's happening is,

you're constantly pulling people up and teaching them,

which is good, but it's better if

the organization is constantly pulling you up

and teaching you stuff.

There's this thing that, this saying that

you become the average of the five people

that you spend the most time with.

So you want the people around you in the organization

generally to be pulling you up.

Third is progression paths.

So progression paths addresses the question of what's next.

If I do a really good job in this role, what's next?

And this is something which is difficult

but you definitely want to work at an organization

where the executives are at least attempting

to address this question and answer this question.

And this is something that we're actually going through

right now. We've been very fortunate that we have

like a very open and transparent culture,

where people have asked about this, straight up.

So we've been working on this for a while,

and we're getting ready to roll that out right now.

Third is training,

this goes into both progression paths and the DNA.

Are you receiving training

or are you constantly the trainer?

Fifth is autonomy within a framework.

So there's two general spectrums.

One spectrum is that it's just completely chaotic,

there's almost no process, no systems,

limited oversight, it's kinda just like,

get in there and figure it out as best you can.

And then the opposite is basically so much process

and so much system and so much oversight

that it's burdensome.

But in the ideal world, there would be a degree of autonomy,

but within a framework.

So ask yourself that, like is it chaotic, is it stressful?

There's always gonna be some degree of stress,

but if it's excessive stress,

it might be due to a process problem.

And then lastly, or no, second to last, is mentor.

So when somebody starts at WebMechanix,

they get assigned a mentor right away.

And that mentor may or may not be their direct manager.

But the mentor's job is basically

to help them be successful in their role.

And so we'll meet with people,

sometimes weekly when they first start,

at least monthly at the very least,

and it's not a business meeting where we're saying,

"Hey, what's up with this client? What's up with that client?

What's up with this task? What's up with that task?"

It's more of a coaching meeting, where it's like,

"Hey, how are things going?

What roadblocks are you experiencing?

What do you need in order to get to that next level?"

And finally is a degree of work/life balance.

Like, there's always some

you know, pressing project that comes up.

That's always gonna happen,

especially if you're in an agency role.

But you want to work with a team,

and particularly with executives that honor

some level of work/life balance.

And there's a lot more I could go,

but this video's getting long.

I can do a follow-up.

If this is on Youtube or Facebook or something,

please give me a like or comment or subscribe.

If you're on our careers page,

which, yep, you guessed it, we are definitely hiring.

We're looking for talent of all types.

We're constantly hiring.

If you have a passion or some level of experience

for Google AdWords or Analytics or Facebook ads

or these kind of things,

we definitely would like to hear from you.

So go to careers.webmechanix.com,

look around, if you see a job that pops out at you,

feel free to apply for it.

Even if you don't see a job,

that's bonus tip number eight right there,

is that a lot of companies that are growing quickly

don't even have time to really

keep up with their job postings.

So if there's a specific job that you really would like

but you don't see it posted, just apply for the closest one,

and in your cover letter, say, "Hey. I'm actually,

I actually would like this one."

But that's all from me.

Look around this video,

you'll probably find some calls to action,

and Clare loves it when I point down at the tables.

So now,

happy hunting, guys.

Serious question: What would it take for YOU to join the NRA? - Duration: 2:47.

I am trying to get in touch with my inner NRA member I'm Aaron

Freeman and excitable a with your daily dose of science II optimism the

psychologist Roy Baumeister says when you see someone doing something that

seems to you inexplicable you should ask yourself what would it take for me to do

that for some things that's easy eating bugs

all I gotta do is be hungry enough killing your kids I'm there when my

daughter was six months old she cried for 45 minutes straight it made me crazy

there came a point when I would have done anything to make her stop crying

what would it have taken for me to take a pill of smother if I was having a bad

drug experience if I was experiencing some sort of psychotic event if I had a

tumor growing in the wrong place in my brain if I was drunk high suffering

anxiety there's a long list of things that would have made me vulnerable to

those impulses that I absolutely felt then there's the NRA what would it take

for me to become an NRA member one I spent my childhood with guns I went

hunting with my grandfather dad Rick Jackson we hunted with shotguns 22s we

shot birds squirrels all manner of stuff out in Pembroke Illinois I can imagine

him saying yeah well what you gonna do one of these days when they no food in

that grocery store of yours I can imagine people taking the Second

Amendment to the US Constitution really seriously and of course the Second

Amendment is about well-regulated militias but never mind there was of

course the famous Supreme Court ruling that the Second Amendment right to gun

ownership apply to any individual who purchased a gun for any lawful purpose I

get it that's the Constitution that's the Second Amendment so I can understand

someone taking that very seriously I can also understand that people don't think

the government has a right to interfere in certain things cannabis has been

illegal for most of my life it has always been available and I have never

believed the government had the right to take away my ball how about you can you

imagine under what from census you might join the NRA

please leave comment below this is the discussion I would really love to have

with you thank you so much for watching all the way to the end. I make new

science-y optimistic videos every Monday through Friday if you enjoyed

this one please like comment I want to know what it would take for you to join

the NRA and share with someone else you know who might enjoy some science the

optimism I Aaron Freeman I am Excitable Ape and I hope you have a mind-blowing ly

good time as you Science the Day!
