Once upon a time there were four little Rabbits, and their names were Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail,
and Peter.
They lived with their Mother in a sand-bank, underneath the root of a very big fir-tree.
"Now, my dears," said old Mrs. Rabbit one morning, "you may go into the fields
or down the lane, but don't go into Mr. McGregor's garden: your Father had an accident there;
he was put in a pie by Mrs. McGregor.
Now run along, and don't get into mischief.
I am going out."
Then old Mrs. Rabbit took a basket and her umbrella, and went through the wood to the baker's.
She bought a loaf of brown bread and five currant buns.
Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail, who were good little bunnies, went down the lane to gather
blackberries.
But Peter, who was very naughty, ran straight away to Mr. McGregor's garden, and squeezed
under the gate.
First he ate some lettuces and some French beans; and then he ate some radishes; and
then, feeling rather sick, he went to look for some parsley.
But round the end of a cucumber frame, whom should he meet but Mr. McGregor!
Mr. McGregor was on his hands and knees planting out young cabbages, but he jumped up and ran
after Peter, waving a rake and calling out, "Stop, thief!"
Peter was most dreadfully frightened; he rushed all over the garden, for he had forgotten
the way back to the gate.
He lost one of his shoes among the cabbages, and the other shoe amongst the potatoes.
After losing them, he ran on four legs and went faster, so that I think he might have
got away altogether if he had not unfortunately run into a gooseberry net, and got caught
by the large buttons on his jacket.
It was a blue jacket with brass buttons, quite new.
Peter gave himself up for lost, and shed big tears; but his sobs were overheard by some
friendly sparrows, who fl ew to him in great excitement, and implored him to exert himself.
Mr. McGregor came up with a sieve, which he intended to pop upon the top of Peter; but
Peter wriggled out just in time, leaving his jacket behind him.
And rushed into the tool-shed, and jumped into a can.
It would have been a beautiful thing to hide in, if it had not had so much water in it.
Mr. McGregor was quite sure that Peter was somewhere in the tool-shed, perhaps hidden
underneath a flower-pot.
He began to turn them over carefully, looking under each.
Presently Peter sneezed—"Kertyschoo!"
Mr. McGregor was after him in no time.
And tried to put his foot upon Peter, who jumped out of a window, upsetting three plants.
The window was too small for Mr. McGregor, and he was tired of running after Peter.
He went back to his work.
Peter sat down to rest; he was out of breath and trembling with fright, and he had not
the least idea which way to go.
Also he was very damp with sitting in that can.
After a time he began to wander about, going lippity—lippity— not very fast, and looking
all round.
He found a door in a wall; but it was locked, and there was no room for a fat little rabbit
to squeeze underneath.
An old mouse was running in and out over the stone doorstep, carrying peas and beans to
her family in the wood.
Peter asked her the way to the gate, but she had such a large pea in her mouth that she
could not answer.
She only shook her head at him.
Peter began to cry.
Then he tried to find his way straight across the garden, but he became more and more puzzled.
Presently, he came to a pond where Mr. McGregor filled his water-cans.
A white cat was staring at some goldfish.
She sat very, very still, but now and then the tip of her tail twitched as if it were
alive.
Peter thought it best to go away without speaking to her; he had heard about cats from his cousin,
little Benjamin Bunny.
He went back towards the tool-shed, but suddenly, quite close to him, he heard the noise of
a hoe—scr-r-ritch, scratch, scratch, scritch.
Peter scuttered underneath the bushes.
But presently, as nothing happened, he came out, and climbed upon a wheelbarrow and peeped over.
The first thing he saw was Mr. McGregor hoeing onions.
His back was turned towards Peter, and beyond him was the gate!
Peter got down very quietly off the wheelbarrow, and started running as fast as he could go,
along a straight walk behind some black-currant bushes.
Mr. McGregor caught sight of him at the corner, but Peter did not care.
He slipped underneath the gate, and was safe at last in the wood outside the garden.
Mr. McGregor hung up the little jacket and the shoes for a scarecrow to frighten the blackbirds.
Peter never stopped running or looked behind him till he got home to the big fir-tree.
He was so tired that he fl opped down upon the nice soft sand on the floor of the rabbithole
and shut his eyes.
His mother was busy cooking; she wondered what he had done with his clothes.
It was the second little jacket and pair of shoes that Peter had lost in a fortnight!
I am sorry to say that Peter was not very well during the evening.
His mother put him to bed, and made some chamomile tea; and she gave a dose of it to Peter!
"One tablespoonful to be taken at bedtime."
But Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail had bread and milk and blackberries for supper.

Hi everyone, it's Justine. I'm doing this video today because I have been shopping
online and it went wrong and I thought no don't you know better by now so there
are very easy things that you can check before you hit that purchase button and
if you do that if you check just a bit better a bit longer you save so much
more time in returning the pieces making sure you do get very fun etc
so here are five mistakes that you will not make anymore
after watching this video it fits the model so it will fit me I wanted to buy
that red top I checked the sizing I looked it up in the size table it was fine
there it said waist bust hip measurement okay that's my size I'm gonna get size M
then I did something that you guys should do too so far so good I'm doing
it right until now I looked up the height of the model because I'm
officially TALL I'm not regular size I'm 5'11 in inches or 179cm so when
the model is 170cm usually that's the average on websites for for commercial
pictures everything that they wear top will be too short on me so that I know
and I checked in our example of that red top it said Maya is 1 meter 79 and she's
wearing size S great she's even exactly exactly my high so
perfect what she's wearing where it's falling on her will be long enough for
me to done deal purchase click and then I received the top and it looks like
this obviously too short it's barely hiding my belly clearly not
fitting. What happened? I'm not just TALL I also have a long torso and I trusted
the pictures I saw how much lower than her waist the top is landing and I
thought it will do the job for me I should have looked for the length of the
garment usually the description would say the garment has a total length of xy
centimeters that's the information you're looking for it's measured at the
back from the bottom of the neck at shoulder level and then you go down to
the hem in the middle following your spine if your body
is not a standard so if you don't have the exact proportions of the model just
bigger or smaller for instance if you're petite if you're tall if you have a
longer torso if you have shorter arms longer arms you need to check the length
of the garment you cannot rely solely on the pictures that you see even if the
girl there has your exact height and pretty much the same size as you have
the thing is if the patterns are well made for that design you're looking at
then the length varies according to the size for the things that I designed for
my clothes each piece in each size has a different length so often the total
length of the garment will not be indicated in the product description on
the product page of the website you're looking at but if you write to the
customer service they must be able to tell you according to a table if this is
your size this is the total length of the garment if they can't do that that's an
alarm signal for me it's a bad sign it means that they don't have their
patterns under control that's typically the case where it says falls smaller
falls larger it depends I thought I was M but actually this size is like an S that
should ring a bell it should tell you ooh cheap production it's not going to
be good quality I cannot rely on the fit that's
typically a store where I wouldn't buy anything I answer questions from my own
customers every day I do that personally not my team when they have questions
about sizing because I'm the one who knows the patterns number two I am
always a size 36 I know my size in pants it's very easy I'm pretty standard
indeed and I'm almost always a size 36 according to the EU sizing system
European size and I wanted those lovely wool pants so I ordered them and I liked
the idea that they sit a little bit low on the waist
I found that cool it's a little bit baggy a little bit relaxed very
comfortable then I received this in those pants
I look like an eight year old wearing her dad's trousers it looks like Charlie
Chaplin what doesn't fit here is the design itself
see these tucks underneath the waistband? They give me more space but I didn't need
any more space here if you look at it from the side see you could fit both
legs in here. So what happened? understanding your correct size is not
enough as you can see in this example you also need to look at the details at
the view from all different angles you want to see a picture from the front the
side and the back so you can see the details like these tucks in this case
they change the design they change the shape of the pants and
it changes the fit so in fact I should have gone one size down and I still
would have had enough space everywhere you wouldn't have been tight at all
because I'm a pear shape so my largest area is the hip level and there you see
in distance at the hip level you have plenty of space. What's the return policy
again? this is one that probably happened to everyone it happened to me again
recently for instance I ordered this nice umbrella on a French website
thinking I will support my country's industry and order one that's made in
France shipping costs are the same everywhere in Europe so fine let's do this
problem the umbrella arrived broken that's when I started to look for the
return policy mistake I should have done that a lot earlier turned out they ship
everywhere in Europe but they only accept returns for free in France and I
am based in Germany oh well should have looked better fine
the umbrella was 35€. shipping it back is 6.90€ in Europe so it's okay it's
still worth exchanging it right turns out it's longer than 60 centimetres so it's
specific goods blahblah... shipping costs 18€ conclusion for me: I really don't
want to leave that umbrella on the subway or in a restaurant somewhere
conclusion for you: before you purchase anything of course look at the return
policy it will avoid a lot of trouble there are many websites that will
literally ship anywhere in the world but then they'll make it very difficult or
costly for you to return anything I think that's unfair and it sucks the
good thing for you for us customers in pretty much every country
by now is: there is a legal obligation for commercial websites to display
transparently where they ship to where they take returns from which costs if
any that has to be displayed somewhere on the website where consumers can
actually find it so the law is very precise about that if you look usually
at the bottom of the website in the footer area with contact social media
blabla, you have the terms and conditions and you have the shipping and
return policy it has to be stated transparently in there so if you
actually look for it you will find the info you need.
number four somehow it doesn't look and or feel the way I expected it to and I'm
disappointed... you probably had that one before
I had before I studied fashion the garment on the picture on the website
looks great it falls nicely it has never been washed ironed manipulated or
dry-cleaned in any way it's never going to look better than that so how to avoid
disappointment once you receive the stuff you ordered always check the
material the fabric composition and the constructions those two parameters alone
can make a huge difference in the look and feel and in the durability of the
clothing that you're purchasing very often when the cut looks complex but
somehow the price looks ok they saved money on the fabric that's the first
thing where they literally cut all the corners if you see a dress that looks
like silk but costs less than hundred euros it's probably in polyester or in
acetate. Acetate doesn't breathe it smells when you sweat and loses its
color and turns into another color when you expose it to sunlight that's the
kind of thing that you want to know think prom dresses they offer in acetate
they're in a fabric you can't dance in which is a contradiction for a prom
dress if you feel that you don't know enough about the properties of the
fabrics I've done a video series on that natural fibres synthetic fibers what
they're good at what they are not good at how they get combined to improve the
properties of the fabric etc I will link here in the corner and down below in the
description all those videos. And then you have the care instructions for
instance if you see this list of icons what does it mean? it
means that you can't watch the garment not even by hand you can't iron it you
can't bleach it you can't tumble dry it and you can't
dryclean it how on earth are you supposed to take care of a garment like
that? If I see those icons I won't buy it in the first place I wouldn't know how
to clean it after wearing it just once it's waste in my opinion it's not a
garment that I want to own at all so I wouldn't order it if you feel that you
want to know more about what all these icons mean I have an older video about

you know so my mother taught me the importance of hard work. My mother taught
me the importance of resilience you know my mother taught me the importance of
not seeing the obstacles.
Oftentimes, the time when change needs to be pushed for the hardest is during
those dark moments when you do feel alone, when you don't feel like there's
anybody else necessarily thinking or feeling the way you are when you don't
think that there's any hope. And so my thing is to no matter, no matter whether
it's a good day or a bad day to continue pushing for what you believe in because
pushing for change is not always fun it's not always easy and it's definitely
not always comfortable and so yeah, keep negotiating. Keep pushing.
I think the message for all of us is #MeToo and sometimes #YouOnly. And what I mean by
that is I don't always have to have suffered what you have suffered to care.
And I think empathy is really important and empathy means that you haven't
necessarily experienced it, but you understand that what that person's going
through matters and deserves caring and has value. And so I think we must all then
stick to #MeToo. We must stick to #MeToo but alongside that we can have #YouOnly
and I still care.

I talk about my wife, but the truth is there have been women who have inspired me
all my life and beyond Katie, who is a daily inspiration.
There are people that I'm inspired by that we're all inspired by, like Michelle Obama. People who do
things that are just groundbreaking and incredible with such grace.
So there's a long list.
For women the revolution that we are witnessing, that we're experiencing is
something that is is driven not just by a desire and a need for safety and
equity at every level, but but creativity. We are all desperate for the voices of
those who have not been heard, voices of fight, of oppression, of overcoming obstacles.
Every great story I can think of has a battle in it somewhere,
whether it's whether it's literal or figurative,
And I think those voices are needed more now than ever.
We need there to be a fairly represented group of people
in leadership positions and that is the thing that that must happen.
For the hundreds of years of men, typically white men, leading and ruling
you know business and government and most institutions,
the abuse of power is a result of an absolutely unfair disadvantage
that that women and people of color have had.
So for me it is, I believe the message is
is keep fighting for that equality.
And everything else it seems has a chance to fall into place as a result.

keynote announcement was the refinement of the guest user experience as they
start to search for more properties there's more categorizations there's
more characteristics and so I think the guest search experience is going to be
improved but what that means for us as hosts is if you log into your profile
and I'm asking you to do that today right now you will find that there are
categories that are new to you and therefore blank now I don't know the
algorithm that Airbnb displays the different rankings but I guarantee one
of them is how complete is your profile and a less than a hundred percent
complete profile likely ranks lower a hundred percent complete profile likely
ranks higher so right now everybody not listening to this video and who hasn't
logged in is going to be disadvantaged versus everyone who's listening to this
video and takes action and goes in and fills it out just filling it out it's
gonna put you 200% but much more importantly filling it out accurately
thoughtfully listing the amenities upgrading your description upgrading
your property types these are the things that people are searching for therefore
this is the way that Airbnb is gonna be displaying as results and therefore we
have the opportunity to come up higher for people that are looking exactly for
what we have to offer so huge opportunity and if you don't do it I
think it's a negative if you do do it I think it's gonna be something that we're
gonna continue to refine over time you always want to be updating your profile
and today is a perfect opportunity because I'm telling you I know firsthand

I was inspired by Gro Harlem Brundtland who's a generation ahead of me
as a woman social democratic politician and became Prime Minister of Norway
and very successful. So when I was a young up-and-coming political leader and
became leader of the Opposition, I always had Gro there as a model of the kind of
politician I was, a social democratic from a small country.
My advice is that you, in the end, have to get involved in structures and systems.
You know I started life as a student obviously and for the first two or three
years it was all about movements- against the Vietnam war against Apartheid
against nuclear testing the Pacific. There's a long list,
but then the conservative government we all loathed
got re-elected and I thought 'Hey actually
we have to join the political party if we're going to do something about this and get
some structure into what we're doing',
and from that time on really I became
absolutely convinced that it was political action by decision makers
and you need to be one of them who's going to make the difference.
I'm of course really shocked by what has come out. I mean it's not a surprise right there's
no surprise that there's been a legacy of men who grope and harass and rape and
cover-up and the rest of it, but the sectors it's now reaching
I find quite distressing.
I've spent eight years of international development.
I'm horrified at what has gone on as we're seeing it come out, so I think men have a lot of
thinking to do about how much has been tolerated, how much has been put under
the carpet and I applaud the courage of the women who swept it up,
because without their courage we would never see this exposed
and it would never be dealt with.

The most obvious answer is my mom but aside from that you know I did a movie
called Patti Cake$ with Danielle MacDonald who played Patti and she is so young
and fearless and learned how to rap and learned an accent and like I was like
your age, she's 27, I would never have the confidence to do something like
that. And she's like, 'Unless I'm scared, I'm not interested in doing it',
and I think that that's really a really cool thing to do because I'm 45
and I'm just learning how to do that.
I think the best way that I know how to create change is by being
an individual and who you are and staking you know it's taking your
territory and claiming your territory and being
if you're an artist like that's the only thing I can always speak to,
being as loud and as bold and as brash as you can
and going for it.
I think it's respect
and it's and it's like for women it's community, sort of identifying with each other
and taking care of each other and together becoming like a huge cell
and taking our space back and taking our rights back and everything
so I think it's about everybody but it's really mostly about respect and community.
