Happy Easter! My name is Jeff Crittenden. I'm the chair of the Foundation. I just
want to wish you a Happy Easter across the country and well beyond our borders.
What an incredible celebration for all of us. Well, I'm here to talk again about
the Foundation – and when I think about Easter and I think about the Foundation,
I can't help but go to the Gospel of Mark, where the women who make their way
to the tomb that morning get there only to find a young man who has been
waiting for them. This young man says, "He's not here: He's gone ahead of you.
"He's risen. He is in the Galilee – Go, go to the Galilee and there you'll see Him."
What exciting news to hear. And so we begin – we begin our adventure going off
to the Galilee. And as we're traveling, it isn't long before the stories begin to
pile up. We encounter a story about Thomas, who has an incredible amount of
questions for Jesus: what does this all mean? Or maybe it's Emmaus, as those are
walking away from Jerusalem and a stranger comes into their midst, and
says that the scriptures burn within their hearts, and the revelation
and the breaking of bread. Or maybe – just maybe – it's that tender story of Saint
Peter, as there he is on the beach talking with Jesus:
Feed my sheep, Peter. Tend my lambs, Peter. Feed my sheep." – "You know that I love
You, Lord," Peter replies all three times. Now anyone
who's been around The United Church for a while, when you hear those words it
takes you right back to Wolfville, the General Council there, when our moderator
Marion Pardy was speaking this scripture to our next to be moderator, Peter Short.
She looked into his eyes, and she said with a twinkle, "Peter, do you love me?" No
one will ever forget that moment, as the whole place erupted in laughter! It was
so beautiful. I've sometimes wondered, "Why the Galilee?" But even there, when you just
give it a minute, it begins to dawn upon you that we'll see Him, that He's there
in the Galilee waiting for us, why? Because that's where all of His ministry
took place. There in the Galilee He taught us everything about healing, about
welcoming people, about community. He taught us everything about who we are
together. That's what I think about when I think of the Foundation: about us being
together, a community that makes a difference in the neighbourhood. Whether
it's in Vegreville United Church, where there's a senior's Friendship lunch, or
maybe it's in Montreal at the Montreal City Mission with the women's Weaving a
Dream program, or maybe it's up in Kamloops as the Pride Choir sings with
all their hearts; or maybe it's the outreach that happens at
St. George Church, and all throughout Newfoundland. The Galilee, it
doesn't take us very long to realize, is right here in our very midst. As you
walk out the door you see it in the neighbours that you meet, both strangers
and friends. So the Foundation would love for you to come in to talk with us about
the ministry you'd like to do in your neighbourhood. The Foundation is just
waiting for you to give us a call and say, "This is what we have some energy for,
"this is what we're excited about, this is going to make a difference." My friends,

Wanna One is gearing up for their comeback!. On February 27, a source from the groups agency YMC Entertainment revealed, Wanna One will be filming the music video for their title track during two days, on March 5 and 6.

Wanna One filmed an additional music video at the beginning of February.
It has been revealed that this was for their upcoming special theme track, which will be released on March 5 in honor of the 333rd day since they first appeared on Produce 101 Season 2..

Colour with 'U' - Adding Subtle Texture with Pencils for Scrapbook Boutique! - Duration: 7:17.
Hi it's Therese from Lostinpaper and I'm here for scrapbook boutique again
today and I have a very clean and simple card using this modascrap stamp set
which is called puppies and it's the boy version and it has these really cute
images and I thought it'd make it really great baby card now it's just kind of
quickly show you how I store my there's my prismacolor pencils I have them in a
tray and then I have them in these that all their like little plastic storage
containers and they have two different levels in them because what I found is
when they were lying down it just drive me insane trying to get the colors out
and when the leads were short if I had them in like a deep storage container
like this lid here once it was sure I am kind of missed the colors
because they would be at the bottom so by having these little storage
containers I can see even the shortest of my pencils so when we need a color I
just basically grab the color family that I need and I have them all
separated into the separate containers now I haven't mixed my polychromos and
my prismacolor pencils and that's purely because they are you know when on
creating for design teams and stuff it does make it easy if I just grab one or
the other but it wouldn't matter if you just wanted to mix all your pencils in
one color family I would probably think that would work really well too although
they are slightly different you can use them together now what I'm going to be
doing today is some prismacolor pencil coloring and it's on some smooth white
cardstock so what I normally do on the smooth white cardstock is actually use
the gamsol to blend it out and make it all smooth and perfectly sort of blended
but today I'm actually just using the pen
so itself and by doing some very light coloring and lots of layers of color I
it kind of gives you a real subtle sort of textured effect so obviously if you
wanted a more textured effect then you could easily use a
watercolor cardstock which has like a light texture would be fun too now I'm
not sure if you noticed but I my kind of the shorter pencil that I have here I
just have a pencil holder that I'm using as a pencil extender and I will link to
one that is made by prismacolor this is just one that I already own and it comes
in really handy when your pencils are short just gives you a lot better
control so of course I'm going to list all the colors that I use today over at
my blog and I'll be back when all of that's done I'm also going to fussy cut these
little critters out right up to the very edge but I won't make you sit through
that today I'll be back real soon
and the other thing that I like to do is come in at the end with gray pencil
sometimes even a black pencil just depending on the depth of color that I
want or the shadows that I want and add the shadowing to my images so I've
actually just used a dark gray today and use that on all my images to add the
shadowing it's a really easy technique so my sentiment comes from the same set
it's a long sentiment so I just wanted to be easier to use my Misti I've got
some onyx black ink and I'm stamping it directly onto the front of a top fold
landscape card and what's really left to do is to add my little critters to the
card I thought this would make a really cute baby card it looks nothing like
what I originally planned I was going for a more sort of traditional layered
design paper or stamp my own design paper but just once at all once I
colored these up I just nothing really seemed to work so when that happens I
just used my old tried-and-true and go back to a really clean and simple design
I've popped up a couple of the images and I did extend the line on the
sentiment just with a copic multiliner and as a final touch I did also stamp
out one of the little heart images from the set I just thought that that
crocodile alligator? I think that it needed to be holding something it's
hands we're just floating in mid-air so it got a little heart
stuck on with a mini glue dot and that's my finished car for today

When the pro-life champion, who exposed Planned Parenthood, David Delaiden was prosecuted,
I went to work for him for free.
Why?
Because it was the right thing to do.
You may remember, David was fighting to expose Planned Parenthood for illegally selling fetuses
and organs from aborted babies.
When David released the video of his undercover work, it went viral.
Outraged, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick saw it and asked local law enforcement to investigate
Planned Parenthood for their criminal wrongdoing.
But instead of prosecuting Planned Parenthood, Harris County prosecuted David.
I have nearly 28 years experience as a prosecutor, judge and attorney.
When I heard this pro-life champion needed help, I volunteered.
Our legal team spent hundreds of hours over 10 months fighting this injustice.
Finally, in October all the charges against David were dropped.
Justice was done.
This was a victory for the pro-life movement, and David continues to be a champion of pro-life
causes today.
