DOWNLOADING THE 4 WARN WEATHER

APP -- IT'S FREE FOR YOUR

SMARTPHONE OR TABLET.

ALL NEW TONIGHT -- IMAGINE

HAVING TO PROVE TO THE

GOVERNMENT -- OR YOUR BANK THAT

YOU'RE NOT DEAD. IT CAN BE MORE

COMPLICATED THAN YOU MIGHT

THINK. THE SOCIAL SECURITY

ADMINISTRATION ADMITS TO

"KILLING" THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE

EVERY YEAR. IT HAPPENED TO A

WOMAN IN NORTH TONAWANDA.

CALL 4 ACTION'S AL VAUGHTERS

TALKED TO HER TODAY -- GOOD

EVENING AL

WHEN THE SOCIAL SECURITY

ADMINISTRATION PLACES YOUR NAME

ON ITS "DEATH MASTER FILE", YOUR

LIFE STOPS. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED

TO NANCY PIPALSKI--A NORTH

TONAWANDA GRANDMOTHER--EXCEPT

SHE IS STILL ALIVE AND KICKING..

BUT OTHER CRITICAL ASPECTS OF

HER LIFE HAVE STOPPED.

((WE MAY BE PAYING YOU TOO MUCH

MONEY.. YOU KNOW WE HAVE TO TAKE

IT BACK. HUH?)) NANCY PIPALSKI

IS NOT ONLY ALIVE.. SHE IS

SEETHING, OVER THE CONSTANT

LETTERS FROM THE SOCIAL SECURITY

ADMINISTRATION TO HER FAMILY,

BECAUSE

SOCIAL SECURITY IS LISTING HER

AS DECEASED. NANCY LEARNED SHE

WAS ADDED TO THE GOVERNMENT'S

DEATH MASTER FILE ON DECEMBER

2ND.. BUT DIDN'T FIND OUT UNTIL

TWO WEEKS LATER WHEN SHE TRIED

TO

USE A BANK ATM, AND HER CARD WAS

REJECTED.. BECAUSE THE BANK HAD

FROZEN

HER ACCOUNT.

((I MEAN EVERYTHING, OR WHERE I

GO, I DON'T EXIST.))

((NANCY WENT IMMEDIATELY TO THE

SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE.. THREE

WEEKS LATER, STILL NOTHING.))

AND NANCY RETURNS REGULARLY TO

THE OFFICE WITH HER CLOSE

FRIEND, MARGE KLESS.

((I HAVE BEEN HERE, YOU HAVE

SEEN ME. I GAVE THEM MY DRIVERS

LICENSE.. AND SAY SHE IS SITTING

HERE?))

WE HAVE CONTACTED SOCIAL

SECURITY'S REGIONAL OFFICE.. AND

WERE ALSO TOLD THEY ARE WORKING

ON NANCY'S CASE.. BUT WHEN YOUR

LIFE TURNS SURREAL, YOU

CAN START TO QUESTION YOUR VERY

EXISTENCE.

((I EVEN CALLED MY SON, AND I

SAID.. KNOW I EIXISTED, I REALLY

DIDN'T.))

SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICIALS SAY

THEY MISTAKENLY ADD ABOUT 9,000

NAMES TO THEIR DEATH MASTER FILE

EACH YEAR. NOW THE INSPECTOR

GENERAL FOR SOCIAL SECURITY

TRULY BELIEVES ERRORS COULD BE

CUT DRAMATICALLY IF THE

GOVERNMENT EXPANDED THE

ELECTRONIC DEATH REGISTRATION

PROGRAM. FORTY-TWO STATES ARE

PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM..

NEW YORK CITY IS.. NEW YORK

January is National Book Blitz Month 📚 2017 Reading Goals - Duration: 3:16.

Hey y'all.

I am Mayor Sonni of the blog Readeropolis.

According to the Internet, January is Book Blitz Month.

Now whether that's official or unofficial - I don't really know.

You can never really tell with the Internet.

I am just gonna go with it.

Book Blitz Month was created to inspire people to read more and I can definitely get behind

that.

I came across an article titled "7 Easy Suggestions for Celebrating National Book Blitz Month

in January" on the From Behind the Pen blog.

I plan on following two of the seven suggestions.

Suggestion number three is "Get[ting] a reading accountability buddy who will help you stay

on track of your set reading goals."

So dearest Booktube, I am counting you as a my accountability buddy.

I am still working on the specifics, but I know my general plans.

Suggestion number five is "Book swapping is another great idea to help save money on purchasing

so many [books]."

January 2017 will kick off the fifth year for the Mount TBR Reading Challenge hosted

by Bev at My Reader's Block.

I will be participating at the Mount Ararat level which means I am planning to read 48

books from my TBR piles.

This year I am going to do something a little different.

In addition to reading 48 books from my TBR piles, I also plan to remove 48 books from

my bookshelves.

I bought a lot of books last year and I've run out of space on my shelves.

I rarely re-read books and I don't fancy myself as a collector.

An unintentional hoarder maybe, but definitely not a collector.

So I am going to unhaul at least 48 books.

I plan to swap the books on PaperBackSwap, give them to friends and family, or donate them

to my local library or a Little Free Library.

2017 is also a big year and a dangerous year for me.

Every other year, I do a "reading big year" where I sign up for a bunch of reading challenges

to help diversify my reading.

I do the ones with easy requirements and that allow overlapping.

I consider reading challenges to be fun and don't get too stressed or pressed if I don't

officially finish them.

I will probably make a few videos about them and I'll leave a link in the description box.

Every three years, I do a year of reading dangerously where I try to read 100 books

in one year.

I listen to quite a few audiobooks so this goal is not quite as daunting as it seems.

So can we talk in the comments?

What are your reading goals for 2017?

Are you planning to participate in any reading challenges?

Can I count on you to check on me from time to time to see how my reading is going?

Until next time, thanks for watching and happy reading.

I'll see you down in the comments.

What is a cataract? - Duration: 0:21.

Normally, the eyes lens is clear, allowing

light rays to pass through and focus as

they should on the retina. As a cataract

forms, the lens gradually becomes cloudy.

As light passes through this cloudy lens,

it cannot focus clearly on the retina,

and objects look hazy or blurred.
