Experts have pointed out that
Obama's decision to seal the ambassadorial residences,

New Year's surprise
from the Obama administration
is a kind of a trap
for the relations between the two states,
and the president-elect who is a Republican.
Such actions of the current administration
in Washington are
a manifestation of, unfortunately,
an unpredictable, and, one might even say,
aggressive foreign policy.
We believe that these decisions
of the current administration,
which, by the way,
has only three weeks to work,
serve two purposes.
To completely spoil
already lying at the bottom
US-Russian relations, as well as,
apparently, to strike and on foreign policy plans
of the incoming administration
and the US president-elect.
No facts,
no evidence,
emphasizes Sergei Lavrov.
Moreover, the Russian diplomatic missions
are in fact deprived of property without a decision of the court.
In other words,
the US in fact violated their own principles
of the inviolability of private property.
We are not allowed
to use the property, which is
the state property of the Russian Federation.
It is a summer residence
for our staff
in Washington to rest.
And the second one is the summer house
for our staff in the Mission
of Russia to the United Nations.
These villas were built
for children
to spend the winter holidays.
There they
traditionally open summer camps.
So that these cottages
are declared spy nests,
as I understand
from the message
of the American administration.
Diplomats and their families,
96 people in total, have to leave the United States.
Leave immediately,
personal inconvenience does not matter.
It is particularly difficult
for the children in this situation.
By the end of January 1
our citizens
must solve
all household matters,
including administrative ones,

close accounts,
get their children ready,
collect the relevant documents.
Of particular concern
is the situation of children
of preschool age.

ready,

personal sanctions
introduced against the top Soviet leadership.
Never has it happen
that 35 diplomats were expelled
from Washington.
Barack Obama is trying
to somehow prove that he is not a wimp.
That not everything is lost.
What the Obama administration
is doing is not a sanction,
it is a regret
about their failures,
their terrible failures,
their helplessness.
It is a shame
for strong America,
it is indecent.
Russian diplomats expelled from the United States
find themselves in a difficult situation.
There are no tickets before the New Year.
But Washington is not concerned about these difficulties.
As a result, it was decided to send
to the USA a special plane of flying detachment of Russia
to evacuate the diplomats.
