Happy kinda-belated New Year!

Like we do every January, we figured we'd start off the year with a sneak peek at what

space missions you can expect to hear more about during 2017.

Some of these missions will expand what we know already, but others will venture into

uncharted territory.

Take Prospector-X, which will test technology for the first commercial asteroid prospecting mission.

Asteroids are rich in water and metals, which can be used to power spacecraft or for manufacturing.

But right now we don't have a way to access those resources.

So Deep Space Industries, an asteroid-mining company from California, is designing technology

to change that.

Prospector-X is due to launch to low-Earth orbit in September, and while it's there,

it'll test three key technologies for later asteroid mining missions.

First is the propulsion system, called Comet-1, which uses water as a propellant.

Prospector-X will also test the optical navigation system, which will use two cameras to determine

just how close the spacecraft is getting to its asteroid target.

And finally, it will test the deep space avionics: the electrical systems and computers used

on the mission.

If all goes well, the technology will be used on Prospector-1, the first commercial mission

to survey and land on an asteroid, which will launch sometime in the next few years.

A few months after the Prospector-X launch, in December of this year, NASA will launch

a new satellite to learn more about exoplanets.

It's called TESS, the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, and it will search 200,000

of the brightest stars near the Sun to try to find planets around them.

It'll look for planets using the transit method, which involves searching for periodic

dips in a star's brightness — a key sign that there might be a planet passing in front of it.

Then, various telescopes back here on Earth will confirm that the objects really are exoplanets

and that TESS's observations were correct.

Those other telescopes will observe how the exoplanets' gravity affects their host stars,

which will help researchers determine the masses of these new planets and figure out

which ones they want to study more.

TESS is expected to find more than 2,000 new exoplanets, adding to the almost 3,500 we

already know about.

Other missions, like the Kepler space telescope, have looked at exoplanets before, but the

stars TESS studies will be 30 to 100 times brighter than what Kepler looked at, and it

will survey an area 400 times larger.

Studying exoplanets can teach us more about how the Earth formed and what conditions need

to be like for life to evolve, so we're about to learn a whole lot more about the universe.

And finally, China is going to the moon!

Since 2007, the China National Space Administration has been launching moon missions in the Chang'e

program, named after the Chinese moon goddess.

And Chang'e 5 is due to launch in the second half of 2017.

Chang'e 1 and 2 were both lunar orbiters, and Chang'e 3 was a lander that put the

Yutu rover on the moon in 2013.

Chang'e 4 is another lander-rover combination, but it actually won't launch until 2018,

after Chang'e 5.

Meanwhile, this year Chang'e 5 will land on the near side of the moon and will collect

and return lunar samples to Earth.

These will be first new samples brought back to Earth since 1976!

Studying samples of the moon's rocks and soil can teach us about how the early days

of the moon, the Earth, and the solar system as a whole.

If everything goes well for Chang'e 5, Chang'e 6 will launch in 2018 to return samples from

the far side of the moon.

That's never been done by any country, so it would provide brand-new information about

an unexplored part of the moon's surface.

And if Chang'e 5 doesn't go as planned, they might try landing Chang'e 6 on the

near side of the moon again instead of going around to the far side.

It mainly depends on the success of Chang'e 5!

All of this is building up to China's first crewed mission to the moon, which they hope

will happen by 2036.

That's a lot of missions!

The teams behind all these missions have been working hard for years, and it's finally

show time!

Welcome on Aquascaping Lab

in this video tutorial we are talking about reef live rocks

their importance and works for saltwater aquariums

live rocks are used for two basic and fundamental reasons:

Structural and aesthetic

and biological filtration

Live rocks are fragments of limestone material of coral origin

that are detached from the reef and exported for sale on the aquarium market

Will play a aesthetic role giving a very natural look to the aquarium

and a structural role

being the basis on which you'll position live corals

crustaceans and fish

after some months, will tend to "cemented"

thanks to the work of the calcareous algae

why i say ther are the most biological filter?

Unlike freshwater aquarium

that has how main biological filter, the porous material inside the filter

in reef aquarium we rely on these fantastic rocks

because they have two main properties:

1 - A high porosity and therefore an ease colonization of the Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter bacteria

that perform the transformation process of the Ammonium to Nitrite and then in Nitrate

(inside we have anaerobic bacteria, in exterior part, aerobic bacteria)

then lowering chemically all the waste substances of the animals

and that would be dangerous for their health

2 - Each rock is populated by hundreds of protozoa micro-invertebrates

and those contributes significantly to the aquarium ecosystem biodiversity

and consequently to its stability

The encrusting fauna consists mostly of tiny worms

crustaceans and molluscs

that feeding contribute to the removal of debris

and cancellation of some pollutants dissolved in water

Moreover, the rocks release continuously larvae of organisms

that enrich the Plankton of the tank, an important source of live food for invertebrates

Creating a real food chain that could not be created artificially

by purchasing microorganisms from the merchants

but that with the maturation occurred in the sea

imported directly into our tank

Generally, in the market there are different types of live rocks

from Indonesian seas, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic and Mediterranean

and can be classified into various types:

- Basic rocks: have a lower cost, and we can positioned under of live rock

are very porous limestone, jagged still quite "virgin" that

with time, will be colonized by micro organisms introduced into the tank

- Rocks with vegetation colonized by one or more species of algae

- Rocks with zoanthids: They come mainly from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans

they are collected in transparent waters

and are colonized by one or more species of zoanthids

- Rocks with invertebrates such Discosoma:

Hailing from the Pacific and covered by disc-shaped invertebrates

of various diameters of green, blue, orange or pink

How can you understand if a live rock is of good quality or not?

A living rock of excellent quality has a porous

spongy structure with numerous holes and cavities

a not good rocks is often covered by a thin slurry

and gives off a strong smell of decomposition

by the death of micro-organisms

How can you prepare a rock before release into the aquarium?

Before putting in the tank it is better to observe them

wash in salt water to avoid an ammonia peak impact

During this operation it is better to have a container of aquarium water

in case it should appear some surprise guest

should then capture it and separate it

You must be careful to these guests for example crabs

initially very nice and a few millimeters

but in a few months can turn into predators

Attention also to mantis shrimps

often found in the Indonesian rocks and once inadvertently placed in the tank

will be almost impossible to catch them

Another unwelcome presence is the annelids worms

especially those fitted with bristles and hairs

which can reach considerable size and even feed on corals and molluscs

how many rocks you must to put in your tank?

The ratio in a tank with fish and corals

should be indicatively from a minimum of 1 kg of rock per 10 liters of water

to a maximum of 1 kg per 5 liters

Remember that the cost of live rock, especially if good quality

will be unique but high and unfortunately necessary

for a 500 liter aquarium the amount will be between 1,000 and 2,000 euro

Hi everyone it's me again, Professor

Byers, let's talk about some

expectations for the course, the course is

easily maneuverable through UTC learn

and actually you'll see week 1 as kind

of a starting point and then after that

everything is basically based bi-weekly

except for the last three weeks of class.

So week one, you'll click under the link and

you'll gather all the information which

is actually just starting out in the

course so I''ll introduce myself

you will introduce yourself you'll

review this expectations video, you'll

read the syllabus, and then you'll take

the syllabus quiz so take a look at that

because you will have something due the

first week. Weeks two and three will

cover unit one week's four and five, unit 2 etc.

After you complete a unit after the

deadline it will no longer be available

so there won't be any confusion it will

be clearly marked on UTC learn what

weeks you'll be working within which

unit you'll be covering. Also the

discussion boards are always due on the

second Wednesday of that week the

assignments are always do on a Saturday

the second Saturday and then lastly

tests are to be completed on Sunday, all of

these deadlines are at midnight 11:59p.m.

so make sure that when you submit

these materials they are submitted prior

to midnight so you know you might not

want to rush last minute you might want

to make sure you get it in an 11:30pm

just to be sure that it's submitted. Also

please review the syllabus because the

course schedule is on there so you'll

know exactly what dates and what things

are due on which days. Also under each

assignment and discussion post there is

a rubric so you will know what I expect

from your post and your assignment. The

tests are made up of short answer

multiple choice and

matching so just so you know what to

expect they won't be multiple choice

only you will need to review the

material also remember that the book is

just a supplement to the course I will

be covering things in my lecture that

are not necessarily in the book but are

important to that particular concept so

make sure along with your assigned

readings that you do review all of the

PowerPoint and lectures. I will make

available PowerPoint only but then I'll

make also available power points along

with audio that I'll be lecturing

through so feel free to make notes to

those lectures just like you would when

you come to class face-to-face and sit

there and listen to your instructor you

can make notes as well. So again those

are some of the expectations

It's an important part of the case, it's usually the clients first introduction to

critical and it's part and parcel of what we do in this field.

Sharing Lessons Learned: The 2016 Revenue Estimators' Luncheon - Duration: 1:53.

Comptroller Hegar has been very gracious.

We were here at lunch where he brought

in several of the former chief revenue

estimators to visit with him to get sort

of a perspective on some of the pitfalls

so that he doesn't repeat some of the

mistakes that that we've experienced on our own.

This is a new thing that was started

when Comptroller Hegar was actually

Comptroller-elect Hegar, and I think it's a great idea.

That's one thing i would say to anyone

who's about to become the chief revenue

estimator, is it doesn't much matter if

times are good or bad; it's likely to be

a high-pressure position one way or the other.

Well, you know, people have asked about,

you know, "How much of this is done just with a worksheet?"

And you know, "How much of it

is a certain amount of art?"

And it's probably 80 percent computer and 20 percent art.

There's just a certain amount of art and judgment that comes

from experience of looking at numbers

and talking to people in business and

talking to people in administration and

getting a sense of the groundswell

that is under you that's going to push

revenues up or down.

I think one of the things that emerges

from conversations like these with other

revenue estimators and from just our own

experience working on revenue estimates

is that there is uncertainty associated

with any estimate that's looking more than two

years in the future. You know, the

Comptroller likes to ask audiences if

they can project exactly how much money

they'll have in their checking account

two years from now, and of course nobody can do that.

Our staff will make an estimate

recognizing the uncertainty, but putting

together the best estimate possible with

the data that are available to us.

And the Comptroller has done an excellent job,

I think, of helping people understand

exactly what it is we're trying to do

here and to provide the best estimates we can.

Hi there, Sandy here.

Welcome to another Friday Findings videos at KeepsakeCrafts.net.

Yes, I've been placing lots of ArtBeads orders lately for various things.

No sooner do I get one order that I realize that I forgot something and end up placing

another one.

So I have another unpackaging of an Art Beads order for you today and I'll also show you

how I'm planning on using some of the supplies.

What's amazing is that in this little envelope there is a lot of stuff.

As always, their orders are beautifully packaged and I always love that their order forms are

signed by someone, whoever it was that packaged it and wrapped it.

So Carol did this one.

Pretty purple tissue paper and a nice sticker to seal it.

And as always there's a card with a project and a coupon code that's usually good for

a couple months after you get the order and this shows you where you can find the directions

for the bracelet on the front.

It looks like I got a free goody this time.

Hooray!

This is a freebie that they threw in.

These are some Czech Glass Beads and I'm sure I'll find a use for these at some point.

Now the main reason I placed this order was to get these.

These are 11/0s and 8/0s to go with some other beads that I have for a project.

I'll put it up on the screen.

I wanted to make this bracelet and I needed beads that were matching and your craft stores,

AC Moores, Michaels and Joanns is what I have in my area and they just don't have a huge

selection.

They have a few 8s.

They have some 11s, but they're not usually these nice finishes.

I really like this matte metallic look.

So this will be really nice for the bracelet I have in mind and then these are for another

bracelet that I plan to do.

This wiggle bracelet with some Super Duos, there's a picture of that up on the screen

now that I'm looking forward to putting together.

I think it's a really cool design.

Now I did a video not too long ago on Tube Bails and actually this one, this copper one

was one that I showed you in that order and this is how I ended up using it on this beaded

donut and if you want to know how to make this, you'll find the directions in the October

2016 issue or Bead and Button Magazine and I actually got mine at my local library.

This is not a simple project.

I will tell you that right from the start, but I really found it very satisfying.

This uses Super Duos in the center and then size 15 seed beads and 4mm pearls and then

it has Swarovski crystals just kind of embedded in the edges, which I thought was fun.

The cord I used was a kumihimo braid and then the end caps that I used, I've shown you these,

I showed you these in another video, cord ends.

These are little 4mm cord ends ending the kumihimo.

I was a little annoyed because my kumihimo was going along beautifully, making this nice

spiral and then I don't know what I did, but it started going not in that pattern.

And I even undid it to this point.

I undid a whole bunch and started redoing it and it still came out this way and by that

time I had put so much time into it, I said fine.

And it's fine.

It looks fine, but just to show you the pattern a little better, here's the same beaded donut

and I still have the string attached because I have to finish it and you can see what I

did here.

I did the two sides in two different colors because the center starts out with common

beads and then from there you do two completely different halves and then they're joined together

again along the edges.

So I made this side turquoise and white and then this side red and white.

And I liked this tube bail so much.

I love the swivel.

It just hangs so beautifully, so nicely that I ordered a few more and I wasn't sure what

color I was going to end up wanting to go with my new pendant so I ordered a few.

So I've got silver and gold plated and antique gold and I'll have to decide that, but these

are really nice quality.

Don't know if I'm gonna do another kumihimo cord though.

I may just do a chain and keep it simple.

But if you decide to do these donuts, they're fun.

They're kind of satisfying and if you need some help, the trickiest part is the edge

I think.

If you need a hand send me a note and I'll do my best to explain how it goes because

I got fouled up the first time I did it and almost the second time again.

I'll use another tube bail.

That looks pretty on that side, but I don't know about that with the red.

Then I got some cord ends because I thought I might be doing another kumihimo cord, but

I got so annoyed with the other one I don't know that I will.

And then these are, you can see they're stuck together.

These are some magnetic clasps.

I've always avoided magnetic clasps, but these are interesting and I'll be doing a Friday

Findings about magnetic clasps coming up soon.

Here's some really pretty kind of filigree cord ends.

I'm actually not sure why I ordered those, but there they are.

And this is another really cool magnetic clasp and I have a particular project in mind for

this so this will be coming up and then this is a toggle clasp.

Let me open that for you because it's kind of hidden by the label.

I just thought it was really cool and I think it was on sale and I think I had a coupon

for a whole bunch off and that's it.

Jeep Wrangler MBRP Dual Rear Exit Axle-Back - Aluminized (2007-2017 JK) Exhaust Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 5:28.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the MBRP

Axle-Back Dual Rear Exit Exhaust fitting all 2007 to 2017 JKs.

Today, we're gonna talk about the construction and the installation of this exhaust, as well

as how it sounds.

This axle-back system is for those of you who are looking to replace your factory muffler,

either because it rusted out, or you crushed it on the trail, or maybe you're just looking

for some more volume out of your V6.

Either way, this system will provide a lower exhaust note, a little bit more exhaust volume,

and you're also going to get a visual change on the back of your Jeep having the dual outlet

system versus the single pipe of your factory system.

This is going to be right around the middle of the road as far as axle-back exhaust prices

go, and it's a pretty solid system.

This system is built from mandrel-bent tubing that is an aluminized stainless, so it's gonna

hold up pretty well in the weather, however not quite as well as the system that is fully

409 or 304 stainless.

However, the tips that come with this system are 304 highly polished stainless, so they'll

continue to look good for a good, long time.

You can expect to get some surface rust on the rest of this system, being that it is

an aluminized stainless, especially if you live in an area where they use a lot of salt

on the road in the winter like we do.

Now, this system from MBRP is a little bit unique from some of the other axle-backs that

we see because it does come in a few different pieces.

You have the MBRP muffler here, you'll have two outlet pipes and two tips, as well as

an inlet pipe, and all of those pieces get individually clamped together.

Now, once you do have everything clamped together, it will use the factory exhaust hangers to

get in place, and you won't have to cut anything, making installation really easy.

The system will give you a slightly lower exhaust note, and a little bit more exhaust

volume than you're used to with your factory muffler.

So to get this system installed, all you need to do is remove one clamp and two exhaust

hangers to get your factory muffler out of the way.

Now, if you've ever done exhaust work before, you'll know that exhausts can get rusty, so

I would recommend spraying that factory clamp well ahead of time, and also spraying your

factory rubber hangers.

It'll make getting that factory system out of the way that much easier.

Once that system is completely removed, you can go ahead and install your new one.

I would recommend installing the inlet pipe and this single outlet pipe, of course with

the clamps loose, then you can hang them up in place using these two factory exhaust hangers,

and finally install your second outlet pipe with its clamp.

Once you have everything hung in the Jeep, you can make sure that you have it adjusted

exactly the way you want it and the tips pointing in the same direction at the same angle before

you go ahead and tighten down all your clamps.

The whole installation process for this system shouldn't take you more than an hour, and

you won't need any specialty tools, just a good set of sockets.

As I mentioned before, this system is in the middle of the road as far as axle-back systems

for your Jeep go.

I would expect this one to be a little bit on the lower end of the price range because

it is aluminized steel, so it will be a little bit less of an expensive material than a 304

or 409 stainless would be.

The fact that this system comes in a couple of different pieces isn't a huge deterrent,

but coming out of the box, you do have a little bit more assembly to do, so again, I would

expect it to be on the lower end of the price range.

Now, there are a lot of other axle-back systems out there, and a lot of them will give you

greater round and similar sound out of your V6.

A system like this is a good option if you just wanna replace your factory system and

you don't have the need for a high-clearance, off-road, rock-crawling exhaust system.

So if you're looking to get a little bit more sound out of your V6, and you wanna swap out

the muffler for one that has dual exits to give you a little bit more style as well,

I would definitely recommend taking a look at this system from MBRP.

Today we're talking about

why most exercise programs don't work.

And why we really need to address things

like mindset and intuitive movement.

So exercise can be something that you do

for life. It doesn't have to be a

struggle or something that you

constantly have to have on your to-do

list to make sure that you do it.

Obviously, I set up the timing

to be at the beginning of the year,

because there are so there many

fitness programs going on right now.

30-Day New You Challenges.

It's everywhere. We can't run away from it.

Although I love it when people want to

improve themselves, do better and

take care of themselves. Obviously,

I'm all into that. It's beautiful.

But the problem is, a lot of

these exercise programs are very

fear-based and very vain. Right? They are all based

on how you physically look.

"Get flat abs. Get thin thighs. Work harder. Burn calories.

Scorch. Sweat. Work hard."

Again, I am NOT against high intense

exercise. I'm not against hard work.

But I do believe that there are ways of

moving your body that are way better for

you in that particular moment. If you

do something like a 30-day exercise

program or a 90-day exercise program, where

they tell you to do with this workout on Day 1,

do this on Day 3, and its

really, really, structured like that.

Like you're following some sort of blueprint

for the masses.

You're not going to be in

service of your body, for the

most part. Sometimes you will, but

sometimes you won't. It's going to

really hinder you. Not only your weight loss,

but your relationship with exercise.

Because if it has to be something that is

super regimented, strict, and you need

to have a plan all the time, from

somebody else. It's very

disempowering, if you think about it.

Right?

You're always relying on external sources to

help you

attain your your goals. Although I

think information is good, it's only

good to a certain extent. You have to

know that not all information is meant

for YOU and YOUR body. That's what

I'm going to be teaching you over the

next five weeks. We're going to start

this series on how to become a person

who loves to work out.

My goal, when I meet a client, is to always hope that they heal and they're back to themselves

in a short time period.

Unfortunately that does not always turn out to be the case and oftentimes individuals

suffer injuries that impact them for the rest of their lives.

So the difference in benefits in workers compensation is not an immediate difference, for example,

if you have a bad injury versus you have a slight injury, you're still going to be entitled

to the same lost wage benefits, the difference becomes if my slight injury heals in a period

of time and I have no residual problems, then my benefits are limited to lost wage benefits.

If my injury is more significant, then I have the right to seek something called permanent

partial disability benefits, which is, if I have a limitation for example on my arm,

my doctor is going to give me a rating for that limitation on my arm and that's a benefit

that I would be entitled to, because my arm did not go back to the same position as it

was before the accident.
