Waching daily Jan 5 2017

The fashion of being "eco" gets literally everywhere.

Farming is eco, eating is eco. Milk is eco and... everything is eco...

You ask me, in the letters written on eco paper made from waste paper and sent ecologically through mail pigeons

how is the issue of "eco" presented in heating?

Well, heating methods are various.

To perform an eco comparison for you, I will use props.

This is the way we all would dress,

if it had a 100 percent influence on the quality of air individual wood-fired boiler

We would dress like this, if all houses were heated high power electric heater.

However, if everyone in the world or even only in our country began to heat only with coal,

we would look like this!

"So what do we do to be warm, and not to pollute at the same time?" you would certainly ask?! Well, there are two solutions:

a. Move to Bora-Bora where nobody has heard about heating, as the temperature does not drop below 27 degrees,

or b. install floor heating!

How to do it –

it is shown on our YouTube channel ANTYKALORYFER!

Remember: if you want to be eco – heat your house with floor heating!

Although...

Bora-Bora is fun...

The Conversation is All Wrong: Chicago Kidnapping/Torture - Duration: 8:01.

On tuesday four black adults livestreamed the torturing of a kidnapped

retarded white person while saying fuck trump and fuck white people

so I have several things to say about this Firstly, Fuck the concept of a hate crime

Most crimes that aren't done for economic reasons are probably done out of hate.

The best deterrent against racist attacks isn't added punishment for racism

but consistent enforcement of the law if you just enforced the law when someone

attacks someone for any reason then they would not attack someone

regardless of how racist they are Number two

Don't act like worse things haven't happened in Chicago

Livestreaming an ISIS style video is just the reality of that shitty city catching up

to the 21st century The perpetrators were obviously not law abiding

citizens in the first place oh no someone from a gang or mafia

or a bunch of unruly teens happen to be racist and willing to commit crimes

I am shocked and appalled let me tell you Number 3

Conservatives trying to pin it on black lives matter and liberals

blow me First of all, liberals are the people who throw a hissy fit if you dare say the

word "retarded" so obviously they wouldn't support an attack

on a retarded person Secondly, I'm not the biggest fan of black

lives matter, and I assume they think black lives matter

but I don't see them arguing for community policing, body cameras, police accountability,

consequences for excessive force So basically saying that black lives matter

caused this is just intellectually dishonest its partisan, hack arguments because

if a bunch of rednecks attacked a Mexican while chanting "build the wall"

it would be dishonest to blame trump Unless he tweeted "attack Mexican" the

night before Which there is a 25% chance he will but

Number four There's this meme that the Chicago chief

of police said they were "just kids being kids",

but the actual quote is "they are young adults, and they make stupid

decisions" very different

note that on social media he was misquoted as saying

"they make stupid mistakes" Obviously mistake implies that they didn't

intend to kidnap and torture this person But that was a misquote

Made up by cunts The second part of the quote is the chief

of police considering if what they said was just stupid ranting and raving,

which doesn't make a difference in whether it's a crime or not

but does make a difference in whether it is a hate crime

He was just laying out his thought process and not making a conclusion

and roughly 0.0% of the actual quote in anyway attempts to justify the attack

not even FOX or Brietbart would stoop to claiming he said that they were just kids being kids

because it's just not true.

Five And this is for people from the other side

of the aisle there is nothing that justifies this attack

and nothing that should exempt the perpetrators from punishment

Someone suggested "maybe he said the inward"

Which firstly – he is disabled You know that right

He can't really be responsible for his actions but secondly, that's victim blaming

A civilized society means you don't do violence for any reason other than self-defense

and even then you only do the minimum that is necessary to keep you safe

There is no self-defense angle to an ISIS execution video

which you posted yourself Unless someone held a gun to your niece's

head and made you kidnap and torture him in order

to raise racial tensions which unlikely

I hope you get the maximum sentence there is

Alright number six Now that's over with, I want to get to my

biggest point Identity politics have poisoned the conversation

The issue shouldn't be that the torturers were black

or even that they hate Trump and white people The mainstream narrative wants to divide us

into hateful people who use every hate crime as an opportunity

to smear the other side and bolster our own bigotry

and look if you're a racist

more [insert your race here] power to you because that's not the point

Here's the thing The most important issue that nobody is talking

about is how the assailants were allowed to pull

this off in the first place.

We are such morons, Chicago had infinity homicides last year

a man was held hostage and tortured and helpless for two days and nobody is talking about how

to prevent future instances of this happening Conservatives are just playing the blame game

attacking Black lives matter and calling each other sickos and racists

and accusing liberalism of causing this attack because

that's what liberals would do if the colors were reversed

We are so hugely concerned with whether it was a hate crime

but the fact that the crime happened at all Tuesday.

The issue isn't black thugs, because crime and criminals come in all stripes.

shocker The issue also isn't racism,

because plenty of nonviolent racists exist plus you can't really end racism

not in any meaningful or expedient way and again there are a million other reasons to

attack someone We spend so much energy whenever something

offends us let's call it what it is politically correct,

selective outrage Chicago had more than 700 homicides last year

there is so much violence, but the racial aspect of this particular violence

gets so much coverage because conservatives are not just offended by the assault

but specifically offended that the attackers are black

and attacked a white person and insulted their skin color and

god emperor Trump, it's the same shit when a white police officer

kills an unarmed black man we as a nation are desensitized to death and

it takes a skin color or a particular symbol to offend us

It's a distraction from the fragility of life

that we should actually be working to address

Who you are is greater than that - Duration: 0:43.

THERE'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEING A VICTIM

AND BEING VICTIMIZED.

THERE'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

WHAT DOES BEING VICTIMIZED MEAN?

IF SOMEONE VICTIMIZES ME, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO ME?

THEY'VE PERPETRATED SOME TYPE OF ASSAULT TOWARDS ME,

SEXUAL ABUSE, PHYSICAL ABUSE, EMOTIONAL ABUSE,

WHATEVER IT MIGHT BE.

SO ARE PEOPLE VICTIMIZED?

ALL DAY.

EVERY DAY SOMEONE'S VICTIMIZED, RIGHT.

HOWEVER, NO MATTER WHAT'S HAPPENED TO YOU,

THAT S*** DOESN'T DEFINE WHO YOU ARE.

I DON'T CARE WHAT THE F*** IT IS.

NO MATTER WHAT'S HAPPENED TO YOU,

What Is Branding - Brand Building Basics - Duration: 3:25.

Brand strategy, brand design, brand

coaching, brand consulting... oh my!

What the heck does branding even mean?! I

thought branding just had to deal with

logos... right?

Contrary to what you may believe,

branding is not just a pretty logo. And

with this ever increasingly popular

buzzword, the water can quickly become

muddy. So, what exactly is branding? In

this video I'll be clearing up some

common confusion and sharing my top

brand building basics. (intro music)

Hey there! I'm Holly of Holly Meyer

Design, and over here on this channel I

share brand tips and design tutorials

that empower wholehearted creatives to

infuse new life into their brand so that

they can captivate their audience and

stand out in their industry. Think of

your brand like a cake mix. When you're

baking a cake, your ingredients include:

flour, butter, sugar, baking soda, eggs,

frosting, sprinkles... With a missing

ingredient, your cake will be

too running, too dry, or it won't even

rise in the oven. In a similar way, your

brand ingredients include everything

from the promise you make to your

clients, your logo, your website, your

photography, your copywriting, your social

media presence, and even your client

experience. Your brand encompasses what

people can expect from you, your

service and/or your product. And when

there is an emotional connection, your

audience is more willing to hand over

their money,

stick around, become loyal fans and tell

the whole world about you.

While brand strategy, brand design, brand

consulting, and brand coaching are all

individually important... each component

comes together to make up your entire

brand. You can have a pixel-perfect logo,

social media graphics, and newsletter

templates... but if you don't have any

brand strategy

your business won't be sustainable

for much longer. And vice versa... you

can have all the right action steps in

place, but if your visual design isn't

refined and polished your audience isn't

going to trust you as much as the

competing brand in your industry. To

build a brand that rises to the top like

a cake in the oven,

make sure to include all of your brand

ingredients. Now I want to hear from you!

What is your biggest struggle when it

comes to building your brand? Tell me in

the comments below this video! I would

love to learn how I can support you as

you uplevel your business. If you

Five Questions With Roger Rosenblatt - Duration: 4:09.

[ Music ]

I love journalism.

And I love the catbird seat I had in writing the essay for Time magazine for a lot of years

and a few other things.

But it was not what I had wanted to do from the start.

I wanted to be a serious writer.

And I learned it here at Stony Brook Southampton.

I was just in the audience.

It was a writer's conference and we were all talking about writing.

And I listened to Margaret Atwood, and I listened to Billy Collins, and I listened to E.L. Doctorow.

And I realized apart from the wonders of their writing that these people had been doing what

they had wanted to their whole lives and I had not.

And I swear on the spot I changed.

So it's been very lucky, but only because I was lucky enough to sit and watch people

whom I continue to admire leading the lives they had meant to lead.

[ Music ]

Writers are very good watchers and listeners.

You put a writer in a situation with normal people to contrast them with where normal

people are, and normal people will be having civil conversations and noticing the kinds

of things that allow the transactions to occur. A writer won't be anywhere near that.

He'll be watching from above, or below, or the side, or something, and even unconsciously,

and gathering information of which he will make use.

I always know that it's nice to pay attention as much as I can because at some point I'm

going to make use of it.

[ Music ]

It was at Harvard and it was a guy named John Kelleher as a mentor, as a teacher, as a guide.

The thing that he taught me, though, he taught me Irish literature to be sure and 18th century

English poetry, too, which was another of his specialties.

But that wasn't the thing; he taught me how to live.

Everybody at Harvard knew something, but he knew how to live.

For a young man to see such a person and to see the success with which he lived and the

honor with which he lived, that was unforgettable.

[ Music ]

I remember teaching James Joyce's short story Clay from the collection Dubliners . And I

was teaching the first page of it.

I go very slowly on that story because it's a brilliant story -- certainly the best in

the collection.

People think that The Dead is the best in the collection, but Clay really is.

So I was going slowly through the page for a class.

And there was a young woman from the islands, I think from the Dominican Republic, who could

not have been more culturally apart from late 19th, early 20th century James Joyce.

And there's a scene in Clay where they're dividing the bread -- the barmbrack as it's

called -- so finely that you could not see the fissures in the bread.

And she wrote and she said, "I don't know if this is right, but it seems to me the entire

story is written that way."

And at that moment, those are great moments in sports, those are great moments for a teacher

because you see somebody who not only got it -- I've been teaching that story for, I

don't know 15 years, nobody ever said anything like that.

And when I told her that, her smile and my smile -- that made teaching worth it.

[ Music ]

University and colleges are ripe for satire.

At the same time they're absolutely indispensable.

And any time you see a public event in which ignorance is rife and you see some crazy mob

doing crazy things, you think, "I'm awfully glad that I had the good luck to be in a place

where I had learned something."

First Crit: BOB NAILED IT | Ep 5 | Tour de Madagascar - Duration: 8:30.

Today is the first race-day in the Tour de Madagascar.

We are starting in the morning with a prologue.

Two days ago we were taught that the prologue would be an individual time trial of thirty

kilometers.

That evening the distance was shortened to 3.8 kilometers.

Yesterday, after our training ride on Malagasy roads and after our lunch, we were told that

it wouldn't be an individual time trial but a team time trial.

This was during the 'conference directeur sportive' where I was allowed to be part

of because I speak a little French.

After the introduction of the riders to the public it took a long, long time before starting

the prologue.

After an hour of waiting the organization said the prologue would be disbanded completely

because the riders safety could not be guaranteed.

Instead we did a two laps neutralization ride.

Luckily we had a criterium of 90 kilometers in the afternoon.

This criterium is on the same track as the prologue… and this time the organization

could block – or some sort of block – the road for the peloton.

Directly in the first lap my teammate Bob van den Hengel accelerates from the pack.

A couple of kilometers later another teammate, Niels Hoogenboom, and a French guy join him.

As a peloton, we won't see those guys again this race.

I set up a second break-away with my teammates but we do not manage to stay away from the

pack.

I take eighth place in the end.

But then the breakaway, consisting out of three riders.

Bob van den Hengel tries his luck with around ten kilometers to go.

Of course Niels Hoogenboom does not help the French competitor to chase.

Bob is extremely strong and stays away.

He even takes a lap on the peloton!

He finishes first, gains all possible jerseys and Niels takes second place.

What a start for my team!

After day one in the Tour de Mada, I think we deserve a nice dive into the Indian see!
