Today I'm gonna talking about seriously topic.
Hello everyone, I'm Sayuki.
I didn't do this beginning greeting these days.
I talk seriously today.
I'm gonna taking about "Is Poland a safe country for Japanese girl?"
It's woman's perspective.
I tell you this first. I think Poland is safe country.
Not so dangerous.
You don't need worry too much.
I think West Europa like Spain, France are more dangerous than Poland.
But I can't say Poland is safe like Japan.
Anyway you don't need worry about a murder case in Poland.
Of course you have to be careful few things because here is not Japan.
Wait wait, this camera moved??
Don't push my camera.
You shouldn't walk alone at night.
It's not so dangerous if you walk alone at night in Tokyo.
I think it's dangerous in Poland.
It's not so dangerous if you walk at some big city like Warsaw and there is many people.
But if there is no people or some countryside, you have to be careful.
And you can be approached by a drank people at night.
You have to watch out and protect yourself.
Actually, Polish women are also watch out walking alone at night.
In this town, I often see some situation when I go to a liquor shop or small shop.
Almost all clerks are women. I often see her boyfriend or husband is waiting her before few minutes closing time.
Some Polish guys don't want to let a girlfriend walk at night.
So they wait a girlfriend.
Now you know, how dangerous walking alone at night.
And it's not easy to find 24h opened shop in Poland
There is not so many 24h opened shop in Poland, not like in Japan.
So when you walk alone at night and a strange guy follow after you at a street in Poland, you can't escape to a shop.
If that street is lively at daytime but it will be so dark at night time. These shops right off and you can't fine any people.
So watch out.
You shouldn't act like in Japan.
And then, some robber exist in Poland.
I heard few information that some stuff was stolen in Warsaw, Krakow.
But these robbers are not always Polish guys.
Anyway we have to watch out a robber at every country.
If you have a bag with a zip, you have to close your zip always.
And you shouldn't put your smartphone in a pocket.
If your pocket is so deep, you can put everything.
But if your pocket is small and you can't put surely inside, don't put any valuable.
You can't complain if robber steel your stuff from your pocket.
Next topic is a racial discrimination in Poland.
I can't say I didn't experienced racism in Poland.
Actually I experienced.
Anyway I think it's less than West European country.
I feel it doesn't often happen racial discrimination at here.
So how did I experience racial discrimination?
For example, when I walk at some street and young guys say me strange language like fake Chinese language. But it happens everywhere, not only in Poland.
I don't know why but everyone says "Chin Chon Chan". It's neither Chinese nor Japanese.
Anyway sometimes you will meet with this kind of young guys.
But you don't need care about them.
I know it makes you be annoying.
You don't need think a lot of them. They are just idiot.
By the way, there is few racist in Poland.
But I think over 90% peoples will not meet with this kind of racist people in Poland. They are very few.
So why I talk about a racist? Because I know few racist in Poland.
Black metal has a genre is called "NS Black metal".
If you want to know about NS Black metal, please check on internet.
Few musician and fun from NSBM scene, sometimes they are very fanatics.
It's very rarely, but sometimes I encounter the racist who don't like non-white races.
I had few bad experiences.
When I was a party with metal guys, this kind of racist say hello and shake hands with everyone EXCEPT ME.
They totally ignore me.
I was this situation few times.
Then, they know I'm Japanese but call me "Chinese".
It's so low level actions.
I think that kind of racist are not real racist.
So you shouldn't care.
OK, I finish this topic.
Next topic is a scary experience in Poland.
I have never experienced some scary things in Poland.
I didn't experienced any scary things.
Some drunk did something scary for me?? No No No.
I had many bad experienced in Japan.
I was almost kidnapped in Japan when I was junior high school student. It was so scary.
Next topic is what kind of clothes you have to wear in Poland.
I think you can wear everything what you like. You don't need care about it too much.
When I started travelling to foreign countries, my friend taught me "When you go to the foreign, you have to wear some dirty clothes like a homeless!"
So I followed her advice and I always traveled with dirty and old clothes.
I remember I traveled to France and Italy with the dirty clothes.
I wanted to go to the main store of Jean Paul Gaultier, but I couldn't go.
I was sure that a guardian kick out me.
The reason why I need to wear dirty clothes...you know.
I pretended to be poor.
If you really don't have any money, you don't need worry about it.
But when you travel you bring few moneys.
So if you wear the dirty clothes, you will not be stolen something by a robber.
My friend said to me and I just followed it.
But I felt myself miserable when I used the dirty clothes.
Sometimes I wanted to enjoy a fashion and wear a skirt.
But that time, I was afraid wear a skirt in the foreign country.
When I started living in Poland I enjoy my fashion and wear a skirt.
But I have never had any bad experience.
So I think you can enjoy your fashion in Poland.
Anyway you should care about it a little, because here is not Japan.
You can't wear all kinds of clothes like in Japan.
For example...You shouldn't wear a very short skirt and a net tights with a spike long boots. You will look like a whore.
Maybe some guy ask you "How much are you?" So please be careful.
That's all.
If you have something more questions, please write a comment and let me know.
I think you don't need worry about the safety in Poland.
About a terrorism...I guess Poland is safer than West European countries...
That's all!
See you next time!
