On 24th Dec India had successfully test-fired Agni 5, the country's most lethal nuclear-capable

inter-continental ballistic missile. It is developed by the Defense Research and Development

Organization (DRDO) of India.

The Indian government had announced on April 19 2012, that it had successfully conducted

the first test of the nuclear-capable Agni 5 ballistic missile. Further test were carried

out in 2013.

Agni 5 will be operated by India's Strategic Forces Command (SFC).

It is the first Indian ballistic missile capable of reaching almost the entire Chinese landmass,

including Beijing. The test seems to have made China worried.

Foreign ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying in Beijing said," We have noted reports on

India's test fire of Agni-5 ballistic missile. The UN Security Council has explicit regulations

on whether India can develop ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear weapons".

China is nervous because of solid technical capabilities of the missile. Let us understand

these one by one.

Agni 5's actual range is classified. Though the reported range of Agni 5 is 5800

km, it is widely believed that Agni 5 has a range of 8000 to 10000 km. India will continue

to keep ambiguity over the range of the missile, probably to address the western audience who

may feel uncomfortable with India's ability to reach their shores.

Defense Updates has done a thorough analysis of the range in a previous video. For that,

please check the video on above card. Even with stated range of 5000 km, it can

hit most parts of China.

It has a speed of Mach 24 and accuracy of less than 10 m. It has multiple simultaneous

guidance system like Ring laser gyroscope and inertial navigation system, optionally

augmented by GPS and I R N S S. Terminal guidance even possibly has radar

scene correlation. The multiple guidance system makes it very hard to jam.

It is a three-stage solid fuel system. It can carry 1.5 ton of warhead.

Though exact details are classified, it is also widely speculated that Agni 5, feature

Multiple Independently Reentry vehicle (MIRVs). MIRV is critical, because of the following.

1. Each missile can carry 2 to 5 separate nuclear warheads.

2. Each warhead can be assigned to a different target.

3. MIRV capable missile are much harder to intercept when compare to normal missile,

since they saturate Anti Ballistic Missile Defense system with 'n' number of warheads

simultaneously. 4. MIRVs ensure a credible second-strike capability

even with few missiles.

India has been conscious of increasing Chinese assertiveness and belligerency.

Agni 5 is India's most powerful deterrence against any Chinese aggression.

Lack Of Empathy From Republicans Is Ruining America - Duration: 5:43.

According to a new article in Psychology Today, there could be a reason why more and more

Americans are actually voting for Republicans.

Before we get into their study, it is important to point out that in the 2016 election more

people voted for the Democratic nominee than for the Republican nominee, but this specific

study was looking more as a whole, at the local level, at the state level, and for the

U.S. Congress and Senate.

Why are people going towards Republicans?

According to the study, one reason could be because Americans, as a whole, are simply

losing their ability to feel empathy towards one another.

Essentially, they no longer feel the pain of their neighbors, and they don't care.

Americans have become so self-absorbed, again this is what the study tells us, that we don't

care what happens to other people.

We have not been nurtured by the federal government, the parent figure, and therefore we do not

feel the need to nurture others.

This is rooted back in psychological studies that came out in the 1970s that showed that

children whose parents were not nurturing, who were not involved, who did not take an

active role in that child's life and were met with what they call straight face instead

of smiles and warmth, those children grew up to have far less empathy than those who

had the nurturing parents.

Essentially, this study is telling us, "That is what the federal government has done to

the population of the United States."

People look to the government as a parent figure, someone who while not intrusive will

take care of them when they need it.

In that test, the federal government has failed.

There is no denying that, but it failed by design, and that's something the study doesn't

mention.

The policies of the Republican Party are designed to weaken the federal government and inhibit

its ability to take care of United States citizens.

Think about this.

When Republicans cut the funding for FEMA, and they're not able to respond as rapidly

or in a larger scale to a natural disaster, people feel neglected by the government, but

it's because the Republicans want them to feel that way.

When they cut education budgets, and teachers don't get a raise, and students don't get

new textbooks, updated textbooks, people feel betrayed by the federal government.

They feel that the federal government is not out there looking out for them.

Same thing with Social Security cuts, and Medicare cuts, and Medicaid cuts, and Obamacare

raising premiums, but those are things that Republicans want.

As people feel this neglect, feel no warmth towards the federal government, they are more

likely to vote for a candidate like a Republican who tells them that the federal government

is actually the enemy, that it needs to be taken down, that it needs to be taken apart.

That is how this connection is made.

That is why these people who no longer have empathy towards one another, and especially

not towards the federal government, end up voting for Republicans who tell them that

the government doesn't care, because in a sense they're right, but the part that the

study leaves out, and the part that the voters don't connect, is that the federal government

doesn't look out for us anymore because the Republicans have crippled it, and they did

that intentionally.

They want the government to not be there for you.

They want the government to only respond when a corporation cries out for help, not when

a single mother can't afford to take her kids to the doctor, not when an elderly person

has to work a minimum-wage job just to be able to survive.

That's not what Republicans care about, and they're teaching the public to not care about

it either, and that's what this study is trying to point out.

I got to tell you, as somebody who's been a student of psychology for a long time, this

makes a lot of sense and it does help to explain the minds of Republican voters, which is something

that I think is severely lacking in politics today.

Yeah, there's hatred.

There's anger.

There's all kinds of weird little things kicking around in the brains of Republicans, but it

does go deeper than that, and this new study is just one step forward in what will hopefully

be a very long line of these attitude studies that look at why Americans are flocking to

the Republican Party, because once we identify the problem, that's when we can begin to work

to fix it.

"Hatsumōde" and Family Time - Duration: 3:38.

Hello everyone.

So from December 29th to January 3rd of every year, many persons are off from work.

During those days, they tend to visit family members and friends with gifts.

And they tend to do a general house cleaning.

Also, during the first 3 days of January, they do "Hatsumode"

which is when persons visit shrines for the first time of the year.

During that time, they carry their old wishes to get them burned.

While they get themselves new ones called "Omamori"

and they make new wishes for the new year.

There are usually long lines on the first day of January until the 3rd day.

Sometimes, if you're lucky, you can see persons wearing kimonos, which is a pretty sight to see

This is how we spent the first day of the year.

Our daughter got to ride her bicycle for the first time, outside.

We got to enjoy some family dining.

one of the things that really intrigues

me is this idea and I heard it many many

years ago i'm not even sure of the

original source where I heard it but it

goes like this when you change the way

you look at things the things you look

at change

albert einstein once observed that you

have the most fundamental and major

decision that you have to make in your

life is this do i live in a friendly or

hostile universe which is it is a

universe that is filled with hostility

and anger and people wanted to hate each

other and people wanted to kill each

other

is that what you see because when you

see the world that way that's exactly

what you will create for yourself in

your life this is from great scientific

market and the interesting thing is that

this is not just a clever play on words

that when you change the way you look at

things the things you look at change

it's actually a very scientific thing

and i'm going to show you that in just a

moment I'd like you to imagine the

following scene you're in your house you

got your car keys in your hand the

lights go out

power failure you can't see a thing you

stumble around in your living room and

you drop your keys and you look around

for a moment and you realize that you're

never going to find them in the dark but

you look outside and you notice that the

street lights around so in your mind a

light bomb goes off

I'm not going to sit around here in the

dark and grope around looking for my

keys when there's a light on outside i'm

going to go out here under the

streetlight I'm gonna look for my keys

why are you laughing this is just makes

a lot of sense so you're out here and

you're groping around you're looking for

and your neighbor comes along and says

here looking for our keys looking

looking for them out here on the street

light doesn't make any sense and I said

around in the dark when there's light

out here now you laugh and you think how

silly that is but isn't that exactly

what we do when we have a problem

a difficulty a struggle that is located

inside and we're looking for the

solution outside someplace outside of

ourselves it would be like going to the

doctor and telling him all of your

symptoms

the doctor says hello boy you got a lot

of symptoms he starts writing out for

scriptures you need a prescription for

this symptom you need a prescription for

that symptom and finally he gets this 45

and you go to walk out and you see what

I'd like my prescriptions he said no no

and i'll give this one to your daughter

and I'll give this one to your father

I mean you're the one with the struggles

and with the difficulties and giving

expecting somebody else to change or

something outside of you to get better

in order for you to make your life work

at this level that I'm calling intention

is something you have to really take a

hard look at its in here we have to see

the question isn't whether i'm connected

to this field of intention

the question is how ready I am I to keep

that connecting link absolutely

corrosion-free I used to ask the

question many years ago from studying

philosophy and teaching it for many

I'm pretty much at peace with that now i

really think that Who I am is a is a

piece of the divine source disguised as

a an author and a father and a writer

profound answer she said every day I see

Jesus Christ in all of his distressing

disguises I see the unfolding of source

spirit in all that i encounter and I see

it in myself as well and i see that and

know that that's not the question that

bugs me the most the one that puzzled me

the most is where did I come from where

did that come from ever asked yourself

that question I used to ponder that i

can remember i lived in a series of

foster homes for a while when I was a

young boy that was about nine layout out

of Mount Clemens michigan i would lay

out on the grass and I would look up and

I'd see these endless stars there was an

apple orchard out there i could just lie

there on my back and I just look up and

i'd say where did that come from where

did that come from

and it's not about reincarnation I

always like Eleanor Roosevelt response

when they asked her she believed in

reincarnation she said I don't think it

would be any more bizarre for me to show

up in another lifetime and it was for me

to show up in this one

always kind of made sense it's hard to

figure all of this out but where did I

come from where did I come so you ask

yourself this perplexing question where

do they come from and most of us when we

when we think about that question we

come up with with an answer and the

answer is as hard as it is for us to

even imagine our parents did it

so tough

but in one blissful moments one drop of

human protoplasm in some mysterious way

collided with another and life began at

this in this microscopic dot now I used

to happen i can remember years ago we

had we had four children in seven years

and my daughter my teenage daughter

Stephanie at that time was what she too

had to take on a lot of helping

responsibilities around the house when

these babies just kept showing up and we

found out that we were going to have

another child another mysterious thing

happened and another child was on his

way and my wife and I flipped a coin to

decide who would tell Stephanie and I

lost

stuff i cornered here one day when she

was in a really good mood and I said

honey you're not going to believe this

but we're going to have another baby

oh that's great in her hands

idea in mind because if you go back to

the time of your absolute beginning into

the material world you know that there

was a microscopic dot and this

microscopic dot included everything that

you needed for this physical journey and

you can't even see it with a microscope

it's just it's too

it's just too mysterious into mystical

to even contemplate isn't that something

as Tiny as is that you could get a

million of them on the head of a pin

contains everything that you needed for

this physical journey everything your

birth was in there but the shape of your

eye is in there your height is in there

the color of your skin is in there the

you know I hold a hair up on the pillow

SI I've had this experience several

million times

what held it in yesterday you know you

must ask that question like what held

him up yesterday don't you are why was

it black yesterday and it's great today

where did that one come from i went out

and all of these changes are in this

microscopic that so what I'd like to do

just for a few seconds here is to go

back to take the microscopic dot that is

your beginnings in which there's a

future poll that is created every face

and everybody and everything in here and

everyone out there watching today in

that one instant miraculous moment

everything that you needed for this

physical journey was in there too hard

to comprehend you just accepted so now

we take the dot and we look at the dot

and we say let's find the origin of the

top that began me and you put it under a

microscope and you turn up the

magnification and what you see in as you

turn up this magnification is you see

molecules and inside of those molecules

are mostly particles and these particles

are all flitting about and it's mostly

just empty spaces in there and you take

one of these particles out and we call

them adams and you put this adam looking

for your source looking for where you

began and you put it under another

atomic microscope turn up the

magnification even stronger and what do

you discover as you turn up the

magnification you discover that it's

just more empty spaces and more

particles with new names protons

electrons neutrons through times

whatever you want to call the ride we

memorize them in junior high school

right so you take one of these electrons

and you're still you're just looking for

your source where did I come from

you turn up the magnification on this

electron microscope and what do you see

more spaces and more particles all

flitting about a dance this huge dance

and you take one of those and you turn

up the magnification and what you have

our new particles with new names called

Clark's we're now looking at quantum

physics the study of the behavior of

better at the tiniest tiniest tiniest

levels and we're just looking for our

source so finally we take one of those

quarks and these quarks are really weird

my friend Deepak Chopra is often said to

me way he said quantum physics is not

only stranger than you think it is it

stranger than you can think because at

you take a tiny little subatomic

particle and observe it and the fact is

that the nature of your observing

changes what you're observing if you

look at it in a certain way it becomes

one thing if you turn away it becomes

something else

it's truly a scientific fact that when

you change the way you look at things

the things you look at change and now

you take this tiny little subatomic

particle and you take it and you put in

a particle accelerator and you rev up

the the speed of these things and

collide them at 250,000 miles per hour

you collide them you open up the

particle accelerator looking for your

source and guess what's in there nothing

no thing that the that that began you

originated from a field of energy that

has No Boundaries no beginnings no ends

its infinite it's an infinite potential

and the question that I have for you is

if you can get this that you didn't

begin with that particle because

particles themselves do not create more

particles say Paul put it this way in

the New Testament that would just seen

have not come from that which doth

appear they talked a little strange in

those days I

what that means is the everything that

we see in the material world doesn't

originate in the material world it's the

spirit that gives life the flesh counts

for nothing if the shape of your eye can

be in an energy field that has No

Boundaries no form no material witness

to it

why not the shape of your life why not

the everything that you are destined to

become why can't that be a part of this

energy field as well that you showed up

here from a field that I call intention

and that beautiful globe that is here to

my lap to your right is what i am going

to call for the rest of this program i

am going to call this the source from

which we all originated that every

particle that shows up on this planet

and that's what max planck said and

that's what Carlos custom-made said and

that's what every metaphysician said

that's what all of the great spiritual

teachings on this planet say that our

source is spirit it is something other

than the physical and if you had a set

of magical binoculars and you could look

at that field but i'm going to describe

in this program is what that field would

look like and my suggestion to you here

is this that you are going to if you

want to understand intention and the

power of intention it means suspending

your ego the part of you that believes

that you are separate from this source

because that's where all of our problems

originated all of our struggle even our

illnesses

this is a source of well-being

everything that emanates from this

source emanates from a field of

well-being

it looks like something it sounds like

something one of the things that it

sounds like I took from one of the great

spiritual traditions in the universe

it's from the bhagavad-gita what is

called the Hindu holy book the song of

the Lord but you can look in any

spiritual tradition whether it's

Christianity with Judaism wizards or

asterism or whatever and basically they

all say the same thing if if this source

that we call God or soul or spirit if it

could speak this is what it would sound

like and then later on I'm going to talk

to you about what it looks like
