Today, we want to make an important announcement.
Kitty Purrfurst has become an admiral and now gets a double ration.
In fact, we made this video to tell you about everyone who is usually
behind the screen.
To be honest, we've always hoped that you get to know us one day,
and we've continued to shoot backstage video, video of how we work.
And the day has finally come today.
To make video about the game, you surely need to play it,
know it perfectly, understand all its nuances, and, of course, love it.
We've shot a ship western,
and ship horror movies,
and ship dramas...
I remember we even shot a romantic story about the ships.
We need to play all the time.
We just have to play, do you understand?
We are the next people who see the game after the developers.
We get it fresh and warm, with bugs.
We need to film the ships beautifully.
It may require 20 takes before you get to the correct spot for a beautiful shot,
and your ship fires at the right moment.
It's very interesting, and sometimes it makes you mad,
but when everything works, it's awesome.
Documentary projects take a special place in our content, and of course,
shooting is the most interesting and colorful stage of content production.
We were on absolutely incredible ships.
We were on the M33 monitor. It's a small compact ship.
You enter a room there and understand that people slept, ate, and rested in this room.
Incredibly hard daily graft, and they carried all this.
And of course when you're shooting it, you not only like it,
but also get inspired with what you see with your own eyes, and this is awesome.
Needless to say that our content must be filled with epic naval battles.
and shooting battle scenes isn't that easy.
Then we collect everything and send it to our CG department.
We do a lot of work on improving the models, because not all game models
are fit for a particular historical event.
The picture consists of passes: we process water, ships, smoke,
and pyrotechnical effects separately from each other.
And all these effects have completely different render times:
from 2 minutes to 40 minutes, or even an hour.
So if there are 20 shots in a video,
it usually takes two or three months of production.
Combined videos are of course the most interesting and difficult ones.
From the memorable videos, I'd like to point out "Wait for Me".
Considering the scale of work, the number of people working on it and how they
approach their work, it's like shooting a movie, but a small one.
The notion of Motion Design is extensive.
The goals of our team are to set the style and increase brand awareness
of the ships in our videos.
It can be said that it's the signature style for all video content.
Mainly, we deal with the production of serious war history movies and videos.
Big ships, famous battles and heroic deeds —all in the good traditions of ancient epics.
We thought a lot about how to make the heroic nature of our video content lighter.
And the team of animators has become the icing on our naval cake.
Our team is responsible for the red-haired handsome guy you can see on your screens.
Usually the work on a new episode starts with the script that we make up all together.
We sit at one table, drink tea, eat sweets, make jokes and laugh.
And suddenly, after a few hours, we have a synopsis and a draft storyboard.
And the most important thing is of course all those positive emotions
that we receive when we read the comments of our viewers, who write that they like
everything very much and that they are waiting for the next episode.
Guys, we want to do even more for you—more videos and more communication.
To make this happen, we have made an important decision:
we are uniting the North American, European, Asian, and Brazilian channels into one.
