Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has been blighted by injuries over the past two years,

and fears continue to grow over whether he will return at all.

The 33-year-old has been sidelined with problems since October 2016, and with his current contract

at Arsenal set to expire at the end of the season, it raises doubts over whether his

future lies at the Emirates in particular.

There's no denying that the north London giants have missed the Spaniard's creativity

in the middle of the pitch, as along with a more defensive minded midfielder, he provided

the perfect balance to help link play and build attacks for Arsenal.

Without him, that link has been missing and there is certainly a noticeable difference

when he is not in the side.

In turn, the focus may start to shift towards finding a long-term replacement for him moving

forward rather than hoping that he eventually makes a comeback.

According to The Mirror though, he is also a £75million target for rivals Manchester

City,

and so whether or not Arsenal have deep enough pockets to go up against Pep Guardiola for

the Spanish international's signature remains to be seen.

Boy Makes Desperate Plea To Trump For Help, His Response Will Bring You To Your Knees - Duration: 4:47.

Boy Makes Desperate Plea To Trump For Help, His Response Will Bring You To Your Knees.

The Trump administration has been compared to the Obama administration from day one.

Those who weren't ready for a change in party control have been over, and over frustrated

by the changes being made by the Trump administration.

However, many conservatives considered it to be a breath of fresh air to see someone,

who is a little less talk and a little more action in the Oval Office.

One of the things that former President Obama liked to talk a lot about was the way he considered

himself to be connected to the American people and their problems.

However, what Americans didn't see a lot of, was an actual connection between the former

Commander-in-Chief and the people he was supposed to be serving.

President Trump, however, has taken a very novel approach to his connection with Americans.

The Daily Wire reports that he doesn't talk about reading the mail that Americans send

him, but when he does, he steps in and tries to do something about it.

One such case when a little boy who wanted something, not for himself, but for a sick

parent:

"When Barack Obama was president, the White House hyped the story that he read 10 letters

a day, written by average Americans.

Sure, he got 40,000 a day and the letters were handpicked (you can bet no criticism

broke through), but he touted the story often as a way to declare he was fully in touch

with Americans.

President Trump, on the other hand, hasn't said anything of the kind.

He doesn't seek publicity when reading letters — instead, he just writes personal notes

back.

That's what happened when Fore Putnam, an 8-year-old boy from North Carolina, wrote

to say his father, Trae, was awaiting a new kidney after enduring dialysis treatments.

Fore, with a bit of help from his grandmother, wrote three letters just before Christmas

— to Santa, President Donald Trump, and Ivanka Trump, according to CBS News.

'My dad has been sick for a long time…

I want him to get better, so he can get a job again so we can play, Fore wrote.

'My mom just left, so if my dad gets better, she might come back…

Please help my dad for Christmas.

That's all I want for Christmas, and maybe one toy.'

Trump wrote back.

Dear Fore,

Thank you for sharing your story with me.

I am so sorry to hear that your dad is going through a difficult time.

It is clear that you care so much for him.

I have shared your letter with my staff, and they are working to see what help they can

provide.

I can tell that you are a brave young man with a big heart.

I admire your determination to make sure your dad has the support and resources he needs

to feel better.

I hope you know how much joy and encouragement you already bring to him.

Mrs. Trump and I will keep you and your dad in our thoughts and prayers.

'It really has given me hope, Trae Putnam told CBS.

'I've been on the kidney list for three years and you kind of feel helpless, just

like I'm never going to get it.

But all of the people that've responded to it on Facebook, and people calling.

We've actually had a few people give us their information that are interested in maybe

donating.

Fore's grandmother was shocked.

'I went to the mailbox and I got it out and it was in the official envelope, Sheila

Sherrill, told CBS.

'I really thought it's probably just a canned picture of him with some sort of canned

response.

But I called my son and told him that Fore had some mail here.

And when we opened it, I was just in awe.

As busy as presidents are, he took the time to write to an 8-year old that has such a

heart for his dad.

There are some things that are more important to do than being able to tell people you did

it.

True compassion comes from within and thankfully America has a leader with compassion, and

a sincere interest in making people's lives better.

The President and his family have gotten a lot of bad press since they landed in office,

however, none of that has affected the core values that America saw in President Trump

and elected him for.

Working in Washington is difficult, especially if your address is 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

This act of kindness might not get a lot of media attention, because it doesn't fit

the mainstream media's narrative that President Trump is a green-eyed money hungry monster,

looking to take other people's money and make his own fortune larger.

But it's stories like this that give us hope that we might make it out of this divisive

time with some dignity after all.

( US News ) North And South Korea Set April Date For Historic Summit - Duration: 7:16.

North And South Korea Set April Date For Historic Summit

SEOUL (Reuters) - North and South Korea will hold their first summit in more than a decade on April 27, South Korean officials said on Thursday, after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un pledged his commitment to denuclearization as tensions ease between the old foes.   South Korean government officials announced the date of the summit after holding high-level talks with their North Korean counterparts on Thursday.

The two Koreas had agreed earlier this month to hold such a summit at the border truce village of Panmunjom when South Korean President Moon Jae-in sent a delegation to Pyongyang to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Thursday's talks were the first between the two Koreas since the delegation returned from the North.  North and South Korea have set April 27th as the date of the first summit featuring heads of state Moon Jae-in and Kim Jong Un.

Will happen at the border village of Panmunjom.

#breaking — Elise Hu (@elisewho) March 29, 2018 A joint statement from the dialogue said two Koreas would hold a working-level meeting on April 4 to discuss details for the summit, such as staffing support, security and news releases.

No details on the summit agenda were released, with Unification Minister Cho Myong-gyon saying the two sides agreed more time was needed to sort out details although they had exchanged opinions on the agenda "fully" on Thursday.

Cho said the summit agenda would largely address denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and improvement of inter-Korean relations but declined to elaborate further.

"We still have a fair number of issues to resolve on a working-level for preparations over the next month," said Ri Son Gwon, the chairman of North Korea's committee for the peaceful reunification of the country in closing remarks to the South Korean delegation.

"But if the two sides deeply understand the historic significance and meaning of this summit and give their all, we will be able to solve all problems swiftly and amicably," Ri added.

North and South Korea have experienced a significant easing in tensions since the Winter Olympics in the South in February.

They are technically still at war after the 1950-53 conflict ended with a ceasefire, not a truce.

Kim is also scheduled to meet U.S.

President Donald Trump sometime in May to discuss denuclearization, although a time and place have not been set for that summit.

Kim met Chinese President Xi Jinping in a surprise visit to Beijing this week, his first trip outside the isolated North since he came to power in 2011.

Even more surprising was Kim's pledge to denuclearize the Korean summit.

That commitment was reported by Chinese state media, although North Korea's official media made no mention of it, or Kim's anticipated meeting with Trump.

The South Korean unification minister told reporters Kim's visit to China was not discussed with North Korean officials on Thursday.

Trump and Kim had exchanged threats and insults in recent months.

The U.S.

leader made the equally surprising announcement earlier this month that he was prepared to meet Kim to discuss the crisis over Pyongyang's development of nuclear weapons capable of hitting the United States.

The North Korean leader's engagement with the international community has sparked speculation that he may try to meet other leaders.

Japan's Asahi newspaper said on Thursday Japan had sounded out the North Korean government about a bilateral summit.

Japan's Foreign Minister Taro Kono left open the possibility that Shinzo Abe might meet Kim at some point.

Kono said in an interview with Reuters on Tuesday that Japan was closely watching preparations for the North-South Korean summit and the Trump-Kim meeting.

Chinese President Xi Jinping promised Beijing would uphold its friendship with North Korea after his meeting with Kim.

Trump wrote on Twitter he had received a message from Xi on Tuesday night that his meeting with Kim "went very well" and that Kim looked forward to meeting the U.S.

president.

Received message last night from XI JINPING of China that his meeting with KIM JONG UN went very well and that KIM looks forward to his meeting with me.

In the meantime, and unfortunately, maximum sanctions and pressure must be maintained at all cost! — Donald J.

Bluehost WordPress Tutorial For Beginners Step By Step 2018 - Duration: 9:29.

Bluehost WordPress Tutorial For Beginners Step by Step.

Hey guys, Bryan with WP Cupid Blog and in this video I'm going to be showing you how

to start and set up a WordPress site step by step.

Whether your a newbie at technology or are a pro.

This step by step Bluehost WordPress Tutorial For Beginners will be perfect for you.

The great thing about this tutorial is it is extremely easy to follow along with even

if you have no experience in setting up and starting a WordPress site.

By following this tutorial video you will have your WordPress site setup in as little

as 10 minutes.

At the end of this video, you will have your WordPress site successfully started.

The first step I'm going to cover is how to choose and register your own domain name for

free with Bluehost along with providing you with a discount on their hosting.

Step 2 is choosing the right hosting plan.

Step 3 is getting your WordPress site setup.

If you don't have time to start your website or blog right this second be sure to bookmark

this video so you can come back to it later.

I provided a link to Bluehost below in the description to get your free domain name and

hosting discount.

I do want to mention that the link is an affiliate link and I'll receive a commission which helps

support this channel and helps put out more WordPress tutorial videos.

Some things to know about Bluehost is they host over 2 million websites worldwide and

over 850,000 blogs around the world.

They are also recommended by WordPress themselves since 2005.

They instantly install WordPress for you which makes starting a site that much easier.

They provide 24/7 support via chat, email, and phone.

And they have a 30 day money back guarantee.

If for any reason you are unhappy you can cancel and get a refund no questions asked

within the first 30 days.

The first thing you want to do is head on over to Bluehost via the link in the description

if you already haven't.

You'll see the get started now button on the page.

Click the button.

This is where you can select your hosting plan.

You'll see three different options.

You'll see a Basic plan, Plus plan, and a Prime plan.

I recommend going with the basic plan and then you can always scale up whenever you'd

like.

If you have more than one website then you'd want to choose either the plus plan or prime

plan.

I'm going to choose the basic plan for this tutorial as this is most common.

Go ahead and hit the select button on whichever plan you would like to use.

We are now brought to a domain page where we can choose the domain name that we want

completely free.

Or if you already have a domain name you'd enter it in over on the right.

For the new domain you can select if you want it to be a .com, .net, .org, etc…

.com is the most popular domain extension so I'd recommend going with a .com if you

can.

I'm going to type in a domain here and click the next button.

You are now brought to a create your account page.

This is where you will input your information.

We have first name, last name.

Business name is optional.

Put your country address information.

Put a phone number and lastly the best email for you as you'll get emailed a receipt

of payment and a copy of your login credentials, etc.

Below that you will see package information.

You'll see account plan.

This is where you can select the term for your hosting package.

You have 12 months, 24 months, and 36 months, and 60 months.

As you can see you'll save money the longer you purchase your hosting for.

I'm going to select the 12 months package.

Setup fee is free.

Domain is free.

You'll see site back up pro.

You can unselect this as there are free backup plugins you can use for your WordPress website.

Search Engine jumpstart you can keep unselected.

This isn't necessary to have.

Sitelock security find is security for your WordPress website and protects it from hackers.

I'd unselect this as there are really good free alternatives.

Domain Privacy is an addon that I highly recommend.

It will prevent telemarketers and marketers getting a hold of your personal contact information

and bugging you with their services.

The domain privacy will show Bluehost's information for the site and not yours.

All of these addons are completely optional and up to you to get.

As you can see your saving a lot for this hosting package.

Below that you will input your payment infromation.

I'm not going to fill this out for protection of personal information.

Once your information is filled in you want to select the I have read and agreed to Bluehost's

privacy policy and terms of service.

address you provided.

Once you click that and log in you will be at the WordPress dashboard.

Once you do that you will see this page.

You will see blog posts where you can add new blog posts.

You will see where you can add new pages to your blog.

A great resource I have used for several years and recommend for professional WordPress themes

that look like an award winning design agency did your blog is Themeforest.

This is their site here.

If you go to the navigation menu and hover over WordPress you can select popular WordPress

themes or themes in a specific industry.

You can also type in your industry with wordpress after it to browse Premium WordPress themes

Catch Up With Chuck | Episode 20 | Creating The Future For Rural - Duration: 13:30.

Good morning, welcome back to Catch Up With Chuck

from the Rural Futures Institute at the University of Nebraska.

I'm Chuck Schroeder.

I'm executive director of the Rural Futures Institute.

Joining me today is a really special guest of the institute,

Shelley McKinley, who is the General Manager of Technology

and Corporate Responsibility at Microsoft.

Yes, the Microsoft.

And we're delighted to have her on campus.

Shelley, welcome to Catch Up With Chuck.

Thank you so much, it's really my pleasure to be here.

Well, we're so pleased to have you on campus.

Well, listen, this is a very exciting week for the Rural Futures Institute,

it's been many months in the making, as we bring an innovative leader of really

global impact here to campus to meet with faculty, meet

with students, meet with a lot of our friends at the institute.

Now, Shelley, most everybody on the planet with an active pulse knows about Microsoft.

It's a big deal.

Tell me what brings you to Nebraska.

Well, almost everyone on the planet knows about Nebraska as well.

I mean, there's a lot of famous things coming out of Nebraska, as I've learned this

week.

And really, for me at Microsoft, and for Microsoft, we also need to know the rest of the world.

We can't do everything from our home base in Redmond.

We are located around the world.

But it's so great for us to come into the field

and really get to know our customers and get to understand what's possible.

Well, it's already been an exciting time for us,

as you've had meetings over the last day.

Well, listen, one of the things that we try to do

with this broadcast is to let folks in our audience

get to know a little more personally people of global impact, like yourself.

So, listen, you were born in Kansas City, grew up in the Dallas area, spent summers

in the Ozarks, so you have some heartland roots.

But, listen, tell us a little bit more about Shelley growing up, and the seeds that

were planted that led you to this really remarkably diverse

career that has had global reach.

Yeah, so, I think really as I traveled in my youth

between Dallas and Kansas City, spending a lot of time,

as you mentioned, in the Ozarks, it was really that sense of adventure

that I learned from my father.

We would travel back and forth, kind of overnight to grandma's place in the Ozarks.

And then, there, there were a lot of adventures to take advantage of.

For me, growing up in Dallas, when I came to the Ozarks,

and we went fishing, that was like a huge adventure for me.

We would go out on the boat, on the little tiny metal boat into the lake,

and explore the caves.

And so, while my sense of adventure I think started on a very local level,

that grew over the years into a sense of adventure, really around the world.

And so, I did spend a lot of my career already in Europe.

And many, many countries around the world.

Well, clearly you have that sense of looking over the next hill and trying things.

Trying new things, and I think that's important really for our prospective students to know,

hey, that's where it all begins.

Well, listen at the Rural Futures Institute, our big hairy audacious goal is a thriving,

high-touch, high-tech future for rural.

We firmly believe that thriving rural communities can be a legitimate best choice

for young professionals that are looking for a place

to build a business, raise a family, get involved, where they can make a difference.

But they can't do that with two tin cans and a kite string.

Microsoft has declared a genuine interest in rural connectivity, and that's one of the

things that you've been talking about with folks

here the last couple of days.

Tell us a little bit more about Microsoft's interest

in rural and how you perhaps can help us deliver on that

high-touch, high-tech future.

Well, we know there are at least 60 million people

in the United States live in rural areas.

Our mission as a company is very clear.

We want to empower every person and every organization

on the planet to achieve more.

And that doesn't matter whether you live in an urban community or a rural community

or somewhere else in the world.

Our mission is really to touch everyone and help them achieve more.

What we definitely know is also, to have people achieve more

you have to help them get the skills they need,

you have to help provide them with connectivity, and to really take that and be able to use

it, and be able to live where they wanna live.

So, rural Americans and urban Americans should have the same opportunities.

They should have high-paying jobs in rural areas.

So, I think with broadband, certainly what we know is that

today 19 million Americans that live in rural areas

do not have access.

Can you imagine if you didn't have access to broadband

how you could take advantage of educational opportunities,

how you could start a small business, how you could take advantage of the opportunities

that telemedicine will bring, to bring better health to people,

and advances in agriculture, which is so important here in this area.

So when we can help areas bring broadband, that's what we'd like to do

to help empower everyone to achieve more.

Well, I have to tell you, you put up a slide on the screen yesterday

that really touched me, and when you talked about your ambition to

move forward with technology without leaving people behind.

And that kind of declaration I think says a good bit about

not only Microsoft as a company, but the people within it.

Yeah, although we are a global company, we're very local.

We strive to have local impact in every community within which we operate.

That means bringing everyone forward and not having technology leave people behind.

And we know, we've been through tough digital transformations before,

technology transformations, we can learn what we did in the past as a

society, and think about how do we move forward

and ensure that people have skills the need to have

to really be flexible and transition to newer, higher-paying jobs in the future.

Well, I think it's noble.

(laughs) Well, listen, I know that one of your desires,

you told us prior to your arrival, is that you wanted to meet with students.

You wanted the opportunity to, not just talk to them, but to engage.

And you did that yesterday.

I've already been hearing exciting reports.

Tell us a little bit about why that was important to you

and some of your impressions coming from some of your engagements yesterday.

That has been, so far, I think probably my favorite part

of the two days I'm here.

I had the chance to spend three hours with a group of female students last night

and really just talk about issues that they were interested in understanding.

A lot about leadership, about being a woman in the workforce,

about the opportunities of the future, and importantly, how can they live where they

want to live in rural communities or in urban communities

and be successful.

And it was just so great to hear what was on their minds.

And I have to say, what you have an amazing group of

creative, innovative, motivated, passionate students here.

And I frankly have no concerns about their ability to be successful.

They demonstrated that yesterday by the questions they asked, by the engagement

they had.

Literally, we went an hour over time, and they were still all there

ready with probably three more hours of content for me.

So it was just, for me, I take away so much from that.

I learn so much about what they're thinking, things that you lose touch with when you're

kind of off, off doing your job.

So it's so important to get in touch with the customers of the future, the leaders of

the future, and understand how you can help them

with their opportunities and help bring them forward.

Certainly, one of our ambitions at the Rural Futures Institute is to give

the students with whom we interact the opportunity to go

face-to-face with global leaders like yourself, because

we know from our own lives, that those relationships,

those engagements, those impressions, shape lives for the future.

So, our audience has heard me say many times before

that one of our core beliefs at the Rural Futures Institute

is that people have the capacity to shape their own futures

so your engagement here has been about much more than

showing off Microsoft technologies.

You really have been encouraging people, students, faculty, others with whom you've engaged,

to realize the opportunities that they have to shape their own future.

Indeed, using technology, but it goes beyond that.

I'd like for you to share some of your thoughts in that regard.

Yeah, I think really the future is a multi-stakeholder discussion.

There's no one company or one person or one institution

or one community that can do it alone.

And I think when we have discussions like this,

it really helps when students get all these perspectives

and understand, this is what I can do, this is how I have to own my future,

this is where I can get help, it helps me understand where we can help.

It helps me understand what the local forces are in play

that are really helping the students move forward,

like the Rural Futures Institute.

I mean, I just can't tell you how much I've learned.

That's what really sparked my interest in coming to Nebraska, was when I learned

about the work that you're doing here in the institute,

and thought we can learn a lot from that.

I can also bring a few learnings from us.

And that exchange is so important for helping develop these young minds

and helping them move forward.

Well, it's been fun to see, again, some of our community leaders that we know

are driving these thriving rural communities with high-touch, high-tech ventures of various

kinds, and to see their interest in your being here

and being able to ask questions was really a lot of fun.

Well, listen, Shelley, I just want to say that it's really an honor for us at the

Rural Futures Institute to have you in Nebraska for this very unique engagement with students,

faculty, civic leaders from rural and urban settings.

We hope this is a friendship that we can revisit time and again, as the years go by.

Anything you'd like to add about your visit?

Absolutely, I think this is really the start of a discussion.

I am excited to be here.

I am excited to learn more about what you're doing

over the course of the next day.

And I'm excited to continue the conversation.

You may be aware that we are engaging in rural communities

around the United States.

We're gonna be learning from that.

I want to be able to share those learnings back here

and see how you can take from those learnings as what you're doing here in your institute.

So, we've committed in six areas in the United States

to really work on digital skills, to work on broadband access, to work on...

career transitions, which I think is so important in this digital economy.

And to work with non-profits.

And while we work around the United States, on many of these things, particularly broadband,

which is what I'm focused on, there are so many learnings that we have

that I think we can share more broadly and really help communities deal with the

issues that they're facing today.

And so I'm hoping, I'm definitely coming back to Nebraska.

Absolutely.

We definitely feel like kindred spirits here, and I want to make sure that we can continue

to engage, continue to discuss, continue to share

and learn from each other.

So I'm looking forward to it.

Well, I have to tell ya.

We've had these conversations since you arrived in Lincoln.

You're our kind of people.

(laughs) So the welcome mat is absolutely out for ya.

You know, I just have to say that your demonstration of values,

as a critical part of your work, I think was a very powerful message for all

of us that tend to think of, you know,

Microsoft as the technology.

And, so we've learned a lot from you.

So it's still a people business.

Yeah, the important thing is our biggest asset at Microsoft is our people.

People ask me a lot of times, why are you engaged in broadband?

Why are you engaged in digital skills?

Why are you doing all of these things if they're not direct moneymaking ventures?

Well, look, there's a lot of great business interest

in helping people, there's a lot of great business interest in

serving people, but for me, one of the number one things

is our employees expect it of us.

They are people, too.

They came from all over the world, and now they all work in Redmond, Washington

and in other places around the world, but there's 40,000 of us in Redmond.

And there's about 100,000 of us worldwide.

But these are people.

These are people that drive the company, and people that have interests

in other people around the world.

So it is, people do think of Microsoft as a monolithic corporation,

but really, we're people.

People are our biggest asset, and they expect this of us,

and it's amazing the kind of engagement and enthusiasm you get.

People will be super interested to hear about what I learned here.

I guarantee you that.

I will get a lot of email at Microsoft about this visit.

Very good.

Well, we're proud to have you here.

Welcome, thank you for making this investment in us.

Listen, we wanna encourage you to stay in touch

with the Rural Futures Institute.

We'll be back with Catch Up With Chuck.

But we want you to follow our website, and our postings on Facebook and Twitter and

Instagram and LinkedIn and all of those fun things.

But we'll be back next week, talking with real people

about real places, demonstrating that thriving rural communities are a legitimate

best choice for worthwhile living.

Thanks for joining us.

Thanks so much for having me.
