Waching daily Mar 30 2018

Just recently my niece and her husband and seven-year-old daughter and

three-year-old twins visited and spent a couple of days with me my residence will

never look the same again but it was a great joy to be with them and I was so

inspired to see my niece and her husband like so many of you dear parents have

done and continue to do taking such good care of their children from morning,

tonight and throughout the night requiring great energy and they did so

without complaint so I turned to my niece and somewhat humorously said so

how do you do this what motivates you and she smiled and said somewhat

humorously or I can assure you it's not the pay and then she gave the one and

only true answer it's love monetary rewards human titles recognitions they

can never sustain us love can in fact it is what sustains us and motivates us in

our marriages our friendships in our service to the Lord and His Church and

on this solemn night that's what we celebrate love God's great love for us

perfectly revealed in His Son Jesus Christ who was ever faithful and

obedient to his Father even to the point of death and out of love for us

on the night before he died he gave us three precious gifts the gifts of the

Holy Eucharist the priesthood and an example a model to follow on this solemn

night in which the Eucharist was instituted we were invited to ponder

anew the truth that Jesus gives us His very self body blood soul and divinity

not because we earned it or deserve it not because we're without sin but purely

out of love and so every time we come down the aisle to receive Holy Communion

we're reconciled we're nourished we're strengthened we find the source of our

consolation and comfort to carry our crosses and endure our trials pray dear

friends that you never take this precious gift for granted pray to be

filled with what Saint John Paul called Eucharistic wonder and awe

Eucharistic wonder and all leading us to profound gratitude for the perfect

sacrifice of His only begotten Son and out of love and so that the Eucharist

could be perpetuated Jesus gives us tonight the gift of the priesthood

tonight today earlier today in this Cathedral what a privilege what a joy as

I gathered with my brother priests for the Chrism Mass and part of that liturgy

the priests are asked to renew their commitment to priestly service and upon

doing so the liturgy instructs the to speak to the people of God and to say

these words please pray for your priests and so tonight dear friends I

respectfully renew that request please pray daily for the wonderful priests

serving this Diocese that they will be known for their holiness and

faithfulness and service but that they will be especially known for their love

the love of God in his Church and his people and on this sacred night has just

proclaimed in the Gospel of John Jesus teaches us how to love and we will

commemorate what he taught us in just a few moments with the assistance of our

seminarians the Lord took off his cloak he knew he was Lord of all but he bowed

in humble service and he washed the feet of his disciples and said to us as I

have done so you must do we washed the feet of one another every time we place

their needs ahead of ours and sharing with them the precious gift of our time

we wash the feet of one another when we go out to meet and to serve the poor and

the needy the lonely the sick those who feel abandoned we wash the feet of one

another when we show respect in word and deeds to all people even those who

disagree with us and we wash the feet of one another

when from our heart we forgive even those who have heard us and offended us

what motivates us to do so only love and so tonight as we celebrate God's great

love for us perfectly revealed in Jesus Christ we offer great thanks the one

whose body and blood we are about to receive the one who washed the feet of

his disciples and said what I have just done for you is to give you an example a

model to follow and as I have done for you so you also must do may our love for

God and one another be reflected in the yes we offer to that call on this sacred

night and every day of our lives. Amen.

Homemade Glycerin, Propolis, and Clay Soap for Dermatitis - Australia 365 - Duration: 7:20.

Homemade Glycerin, Propolis, and Clay Soap for Dermatitis

Dermatitis is a difficult skin condition to treat because, like all skin problems, it can be related to the food you eat, your nerves and emotions, your surroundings, and more.

In today's article, we want to share a simple recipe with you for homemade soap made with glycerin, propolis, and clay, which has anti-inflammatory properties that will help you overcome dermatitis naturally.

What is dermatitis?.

Dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin and is characterized by symptoms like itching and redness.

There are different types of dermatitis and the causes can also vary, which is why it's a difficult disorder to treat for lots of people.

You might suffer from acute dermatitis as a result of a specific exposure factor, such as allergies, or your dermatitis could be chronic.

Healing ingredients. Glycerin.

Glycerin is the base ingredient for natural and sulfate-free soaps.

It has antiseptic properties that prevent infections and help your skin retain moisture.

In addition, it also adds softness and prevents discoloration of the skin.

Making soap with glycerin is very easy because you can mix this ingredient with others that have additional healing properties for your skin.

Propolis.

Propolis is a 100% natural ingredient that's known for its powerful healing properties, which are great for fighting any bacteria and fungi on the surface of the skin.

Propolis is a mixture of resin that bees have extracted from plants and trees to protect their hives.

This means that the nutritional value is very complex and variable, as it depends on the plant source from which it comes.

What is certain is that propolis contains a lot of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and essential oils that all function to protect the hive.

When it comes to dermatitis, propolis is very effective as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic treatment while also promoting better circulation in the skin.

It's a natural antibiotic without the side effects, which you can consume or apply directly to your skin.

It provides a large quantity of minerals and trace elements that penetrate the blood supply through the skin's pores.

Plus, it helps reduce inflammation.

It even extracts toxins from the body.

These three benefits make it a great product for beauty treatments as well as a remedy for certain skin disorders.

Homemade and natural soap. Ingredients.

To make this homemade soap, you'll need the following ingredients:.

1 solid tablet of glycerin soap (100 g) 1 tablespoon of propolis liquid extract (8 ml) 3 tablespoons of fine powder clay (45 g) You can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to give this soap a special scent, such as lavender, rosemary, lemon, or orange.

Preparation.

To make this dermatitis treatment soap, follow these simple steps:.

Heat the glycerin bar until it melts.

You can do this on the stove or in the microwave.

You don't need to bring it to a boil.

Just heat it until the glycerin liquefies.

At this time, pour the glycerin into a glass bowl and add the liquid propolis and clay.

Mix well.

Use a wooden spoon or a glass utensil – not plastic or metal.

This is essential for maintaining the healing properties of the clay.

Once it's mixed together, pour the mixture into a mold or any container that will give your soap its shape.

You can use a soap dish or the base of a plastic bottle.

Allow it to cool and your soap will be ready.

How should you use it?.

Wash the areas affected by dermatitis twice a day with this homemade soap, once in the morning upon waking, and once in the evening before you go to bed.

Next, be sure to hydrate your skin well with a natural lotion made with aloe vera, coconut oil, olive oil, or calendula oil.

Finally, avoid using any products that aren't natural and contain sulfates, parabens, or other harmful chemical ingredients.

Emmerdale viewers call out Paddy for major animal blunder: 'You're a vet!' - Duration: 3:18.

Emmerdale viewers call out Paddy for major animal blunder: 'You're a vet!'

Paddy (Dominic Brunt) was at work with Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), expecting a visit from an inspector.

Vanessa was being investigated after a vial of ketamine was stolen from her bag and wasnt properly reported.

But before the inspector turned up, Paddy panicked as he confessed to Vanessa that a snake, Voldemort, had escaped.

That meant there was a potentially dangerous reptile slithering around the vets at what was a make or break moment for Vanessa.

The inspector, Mr Henderson, turned up and had an intense chat with Vanessa about the ketamine, but things soon seemed to take a turn for the better.

"We like to let the animals out to stretch their legs" Paddy Kirk Paddy recognised him as an old friend from veterinary college and they bonded over their shared memories.

As they cosied up for a photo for old times sake, Vanessa spotted Voldemort making its way towards them.

She lunged for it and after a tense moment, Mr Henderson laughed it off and everything seemed fine.

But viewers were a little confused by a comment Paddy made, when he said: We like to let the animals out to stretch their legs..

Emmerdale fans picked up on the irony – you know, snakes not having legs and all – with one saying: Paddy, youre a vet. Despite the happy reunion between Paddy and Mr Henderson, things soured when Paddy majorly put his foot in his mouth.

He mentioned sorting out a reunion for their old class and wondered what one of the girls they knew was up to.

Paddy recalled the names they used to call her and that she still had a bit of a moustache, though Mr Henderson wasnt laughing along.

He then revealed that the woman in question was his wife, and stalked off saying hed be in touch.

Does this mean Paddy has prematurely ended Vanessas – or his and Rhonas (Zoe Henry) – careers? Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
