West Virginia Just Put Freeloaders In Their Place, Trump Is Cheering.

West Virginia joined the ranks of numerous states to curtail massive government abuse.

A new simple rule will save taxpayers plenty and give freeloaders the boot.

Government entitlements are un-American.

There, I said it.

Getting free stuff from the government was not our Founding Fathers' dream.

America was founded on the hope that everyone can prosper.

That means responsible adults should work for a living.

But government handouts rob millions of people from that opportunity.

Instead of being motivated to work hard and earn their keep, they sit back and collect

checks from the government.

It has created a massive welfare state where millions of Americans are kept in poverty.

After all, the government will only give you just enough to get by.

Good leaders don't want their people suckling at the government's teat.

They want all Americans to know the pride of working for themselves.

That's the only way a person can truly achieve something great and maybe even find riches

and success.

That is why West Virginia has joined numerous states to put a limit on one of the biggest

handouts: food stamps.

A new bill will set work requires for able-bodied Americans.

Simply put, you either work part-time, or you get nothing.

Gov. Jim Justice signed a bill into law Tuesday that will impose work requirements on certain

adults receiving benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program…

Starting Oct. 1, 2018, any able-bodied adult — a person between 18 and 49 years of age

without dependents — must either work, volunteer or participate in workforce training programs

for 20 hours per week to receive SNAP benefits.

Specifically, the bill rescinds West Virginia's ability to allow the Department of Health

and Human Resources to issue waivers to SNAP recipients from the federal work requirements

for able-bodied working adults.

When Barack Obama entered office, he rolled back limits to dramatically increase the number

of Americans on food stamps.

States were not able to set work requirements for recipients.

Hmm, I wonder why he did that?

Maybe because he wanted more people dependent on the government, rather than succeeding

on their own.

That's a tailor-made Socialist state, right there.

Like other states, the requirements are very simple.

West Virginia is not going to snatch food stamps from children or the elderly.

We're talking about people who should be working, but aren't.

They're not even being required to get a full-time job.

Even volunteering or receiving workforce training is enough.

But guess what happens when these requirements are put into practice?

Food stamp enrollment plummets.

Nine counties in the state have undergone a pilot program of SNAP work requirements.

According to DHHR's analysis of the pilot program, it did not have a significant impact

on employment figures for the population of able-bodied adults without dependents, although

it did slash the SNAP caseload.

[Source: Charleston-Gazette Mail]

Every state that has implemented these requirements saw a huge drop in food stamp enrollment.

Why?

Because there are so many people who want to freeload.

Again, they aren't required to get a full-time job, just some workforce training (which is

provided by the government).

And they still refuse to do that, choosing to lose food stamps rather than get off their

asses.

Other states have brought back work requirements for food stamps, echoing a sentiment by President

Donald Trump.

Alabama, Georgia, Kansas, Maine, and others have implemented these basic requirements.

All saw a drop in enrollment.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the maximum possible benefit allowed by SNAP

is $192/month.

That's not a large enough amount to feed the average family.

Thus proving once again, that government handouts keep people poor and struggling.

Many recipients augment that sum with other government checks.

The fact remains that the earning potential for a working person will always be astronomically

higher than someone on food stamps.

So why shouldn't our government be doing everything it can to get people off them?

what do you think about this?

Which Is The Best Smartphone Camera — iPhone X, Pixel 2 XL, Galaxy S9+? - Duration: 4:13.

- So, I have the top three smartphones

you can buy right now.

Got the Google Pixel 2 XL,

which has an amazing camera.

Got the Galaxy S9+ with a dual lens camera.

And got the iPhone X or iPhone 10,

which has also a dual lens camera.

Let's start off with the office environment

at the BI offices.

This is mixed lighting

there's some of the artificial lights up top,

there's some light coming through the windows,

so this is a good test for a smartphone camera.

And I gotta say in this one,

it was the Pixel 2 XL that really won out.

The Pixel just offered the best color,

it was the most accurate color.

It's what I see when I look at it through my own eyes.

Now for a look at how each phone handles colors

in an indoor lighting environment.

So, taking a look at these flowers with indoor lighting,

it's kinda warm, yellow lighting.

Colors on the S9 photo kinda looks washed-out.

The Pixel and the iPhone did really well here,

with the iPhone winning out for colors in indoor lighting.

Alright, let's take a step outside to check out

how these photos do with HDR, High Dynamic Range.

That's basically how a camera handles super bright spots

when there's also like a darker spot in the photo as well.

So here we have these tall Manhattan buildings,

and then just the super bright sky

in the middle with the clouds.

So that's perfect test for HDR.

And here I'm gonna call the Pixel on this one.

Again, the HDR on the Pixel kinda won out on the others.

That's not to say that the others looked bad.

The iPhone looks good also,

it's just a little yellow.

So, here's a really tough one for smartphone cameras.

This is a dark, reflective surface.

That means that the camera has to deal with

this dark surface, but also these super bright spots

on this dark surface that are reflecting off it.

So that's really tough for smartphone cameras,

and honestly, a lot of cameras as well.

But here, I gotta say, the iPhone won out here for sure.

And actually, the Pixel just totally blew this one.

Next up, we have the Statue of Liberty

taken from Lower Manhattan,

and here I gotta say it's pretty clear to me

the iPhone or the Pixel did the best.

The S9 again did this thing where it just

homogenizes the whole photo.

It kinda just looks gray-ish.

So, I couldn't leave it there, especially with

the Statue of Liberty being so far away.

This was a perfect test for the 2X zoom lens

on the iPhone X, or 10, and the Galaxy S9+.

The Pixel is not part of this test here,

because it doesn't have a zoom lens.

I think the iPhone looks better here.

It just has this sort of deeper contrast,

which we've seen in a lot of the previous photos.

S9 again kinda does it's thing, where it's just

sort of like makes things a little too bright,

washes out some colors.

Now we go into Galaxy S9 territory,

Samsung territory: low lights.

So I took this photo here of this painting at home.

The Galaxy S9 does incredibly here.

I am just amazed and still shocked how good

Samsung's cameras are at low light situations.

I guess it's time to call it.

Which one is the best?

This is a tough one, guys.

I gotta say, I think the Pixel 2 is still the best

smartphone camera you can find right now.

That's not to say that the S9 and the iPhone are bad,

it's just the Pixel just edges them out

a little bit overall,

and that's what we're gonna see

for the foreseeable future.

We might see something with the Galaxy Note 8

in a few months' time,

maybe Red's special crazy camera phone

will hold some surprises for us.

We'll have to see.

But, for the foreseeable future,

and for a little under a year now,

the Pixel 2 still has the best smartphone camera.

(playful music)

Greenland Is Literally Cracking Apart and Flooding the World - Duration: 5:28.

Greenland Is Literally Cracking Apart and Flooding the World

Visit Greenland on the right summer day, and you could see a 12-billion-gallon lake disappear before your very eyes.

Glaciologists saw this happen for the first time in 2006, when a 2.2-square-mile (5.6 square kilometers) lake of melted ice drained away into nothing in less than 2 hours.

Researchers now see such events as a regular part of Greenlands increasingly hot summer routine; every year, thousands of temporary lakes pop up on Greenlands surface as the surrounding ice melts, sit around for a few weeks or months, and then suddenly drain away through cracks in the ice sheet underneath. .

On a recent expedition, however, researchers saw an alarming new pattern behind Greenlands mysterious disappearing lakes: Theyre starting to drain farther and farther inland.

According to a new paper published today (March 14) in the journal Nature Communications, thats because the summer lakes of Greenland drain in a cascading chain reaction enabled by a vast, interconnected web of cracks below the ice — and as temperatures climb, the web is getting wider.

Lakes that drain in one area produce fractures that cause more lakes to drain somewhere elsewhere, co-author Marion Bougamont, a glaciologist at the University of Cambridges Scott Polar Research Institute, said in a statement.

It all adds up when you look at the pathways of water underneath the ice..

In the new paper, Bougamont and her colleagues used 3D ice-flow models and satellite images of the Greenland Ice Sheet to study this chain reaction.

The authors found that when warming weather causes a single lake to drain into the underlying ice sheet, the ice flow below that lake can accelerate dramatically — up to 400 percent faster than in winter months.

As the draining water surges away from the original lake, it can destabilize other nearby ice beds.

Fresh cracks form, new lakes drain and the reaction intensifies day by day.

In one incident, the researchers observed 124 lakes drain in just five days.

Even lakes that formed hundreds of kilometers inland, which were previously thought to be too far removed from the ice bed to drain into it, proved vulnerable to the chain-drain-reaction as new fissures in the ice formed.

This all amounts to billions of gallons of melted ice plunging below Greenlands surface every few days.

Some of this water remains trapped in the ice sheet; much of it pours into the surrounding ocean.

This ice sheet, which covers 1.7 million square kilometers [650,000 square miles], was relatively stable 25 years ago, but now loses one billion tons [900 million metric tons] of ice every day, lead author Poul Christoffersen, also from Cambridges Scott Polar Research Institute, said in the statement.

This causes one millimeter of global sea level rise per year, a rate which is much faster than what was predicted only a few years ago..

According to a 2017 report, ice loss in Greenland was responsible for about 25 percent of global sea level rise in 2014 — up from just 5 percent in 1993.

If Greenland melts completely, it could result in a global sea-level rise of about 20 feet (6 meters).

According to the Cambridge researchers, a total loss of Greenlands ice is extremely unlikely in this century — but even minor increases in sea level could have severe consequences around the world, the authors noted.

According to a recent report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), if sea levels rise half a meter (1.6 feet) by 2100, many American coastal cities will experience high-tide flooding every other day or more.

Justin Theroux, Aubrey Plaza "New COUPLE Alert" Is Wrong - Duration: 5:33.

Justin Theroux, Aubrey Plaza "New COUPLE Alert" Is Wrong

Justin Theroux and Aubrey Plaza are not dating, despite speculation from a website that has already issued a "new couple alert." FASHION CHANEL can set the record straight.

The friendly stars spent time together primarily for professional, not personal, reasons.

Furthermore, Plaza isn't even single, we can confirm.

But the rumor mill kicked into overdrive on Thursday when the Daily Mail published photos of Theroux and Plaza outside his New York City apartment.

That's led HollywoodLife to breathlessly ask, "Do we have a new couple on our hands!?" The site speculates Theroux "may already be moving on" from Jennifer Aniston, even as it admits the actor "didn't flaunt any PDA or even touch" Plaza in the paparazzi pictures.

Still, the blog editorializes that, with the timing of Theroux's breakup, "It certainly wouldn't be far-fetched for him to have moved on by now.".

Further indicating it doesn't know for sure what's actually going on, the outlet points out Plaza has been "in a serious relationship" with Jeff Baena since 2011, and notes that they were "definitely still together as of 2017, but they haven't been photographed together in more than a year.

" Asserting that Plaza is "very private about her personal life," the online publication calls it "not surprising" she and Baena haven't been seen with one another "in quite a bit of time.

Then the website wonders if Plaza and Theroux's get-together "could be nothing more than a meet-up between friends," but still adds, "It definitely has people talking!" Clearly the wishy-washy site rather fan the flames and throw out various scenarios than actually investigate.

In contrast, FASHION CHANEL took the time to fact-check so we could learn what really is or isn't going on.

In the course of our research, we checked in with a mutual pal, who assures us Plaza is still with her longtime boyfriend.

Additionally, a rep for Theroux confirms to FASHION CHANEL that he and Plaza were hanging out to discuss a work project, which was also reported by People.

Even the Daily Mail noted in its original report, "There is nothing to suggest the pair are anything more than friends." Yet HollywoodLies, as it's nicknamed, still saw fit to jump the gun.

It's also worth noting, given that it's not mentioned in its piece, the blog is seemingly unaware that Theroux and Plaza previously worked together on "Parks And Recreation" for episodes that aired back in 2010.

And instead of focusing on facts, like FASHION CHANEL has done here, the outlet instead brings up other rumors that have wrongly linked Theroux to Olivia Munn and Petra Collins in recent weeks.

Perhaps if HollywoodLies spent more time on real reporting than spreading bogus gossip, it could become a reputable publication.

But opposed to that actually happening, FASHION CHANEL predicts the website will either manufacture fake "exclusives" about Theroux and Plaza's (nonexistent) relationship or suddenly claim to know the "truth" about them just being pals.

Our eyes will be peeled.
