Not one Lily or rosebud to brighten people's day

the Kings and his gardener on a quest to find a flower that could grow in freezenberg and

The gardener returned in fact the festival is supposed to take place on this very night

But there is one problem

This is probably where Miss nettle comes in I've got to stop miss nettle and give this story a happy ending

All by ourselves, but she has magic in a really scary laugh

Don't worry we have magic too. Hey, do you guys think you could help me out?

Well well if it isn't my least favorite meddling princess

My amulet isn't working it must say miss nettles crazy crystals. Even if they find her how will they tell me where he is?

Night of the whole year, but I still have no idea where she went

Even if we find miss nettle I don't know how we can stop here without my amulets magic no Queen Elsa

Hmm, maybe you're right. I guess I have to try that's the spirit now. Let's go find that wicked fairy

Look here comes you have a talking snowman. This is my friend Ella. Hey. This is my friend Sofia. He's so

That one right now. No I've been looking all over the kingdom for flowers, and I haven't seen anything but snow

This is just what reason Berg used to look like before that royal gardener know wherever there are flowers. We'll find miss now

I'm going back to the castle. I've got still daddy about this. We'll meet you there

No, I don't like to label people, but I believe if I see another wicked fairy no

Pretty flowers oh I need to tell miss Neville how important leads up there

Well that doesn't look right

Stop right there miss Knittle. Oh, it's you again

Did you ever think of that no I did?

It's always been a dream of mine. Oh you poor misunderstood wicked fairy

I'm not stealing anything. I'm simply taking back

What was mine but if you take all this notes no drop in the kingdom?

Show your freezenberg

Friends to think twice before they never witness look on the bright side at least that fairy got her flowers back

Why is that the bright side because now maybe she'll be happy like when Elsa saw how much I loved her

I'm supposed to make sure this story has a happy ending for

Everyone including this metal. I know what I need to do, but I can't give up these vines

It really hurt miss nettles feelings that no one ever thanked her for the flower

I'm hoping well if you think her now

Then maybe she won't be angry anymore what ah did that snowman just tall this is the one I was telling you about daddy

Can I have one did you say miss nettle didn't take all the snowdrops?

Doing I can't have a festival without any flowers

They know that but they came sure anyway because the king has something to say to you is the creator of the beautiful

Snowdrop the only flowers strong enough to grow in a fair frozen kingdom. That's my favorite flower. Oh

Thank you

We all owe you a great deal of thanks for giving us so much joy for so many years on this festive day

why on earth

Do you think you can give freezenberg back its flowers

Return

We've never had such a marvelous winter flower festival

Now maybe there's something you can help me with

Whoo-hoo Lord who is given give okay? What is it ever since your crazy crystals fell on my amulets

acting funny

Something oh

Oh, I guess that's great - what's wrong well

I know I was supposed to come and give you good advice

but I I didn't really have any good advice to give away from the fire thing -

I will

I think you're going back

And that is how the people of freezenberg

Tips for Teaching Kids with Autism to Swim and How to Find Lessons Near You - Duration: 8:04.

Tips for teaching kids with autism to swim and how to find lessons near you

water holds a special appeal for many children on the autism spectrum

that this fascination can end up being dangerous especially when coupled with a tendency to wander

tragically a national autism association reports that between 2009 and 2011

accidental drowning accounted for 91% of the total U.S. deaths reported in children with autism ages 14 and younger who had

wandered away from their homes schools or caregivers

we can help reduce this risk of accidental drowning

and bring more joy confidence

and coordination into our autistic kids lives as well as improve their learning in other areas strengthen their bodies and reduce anxiety

through swimming lessons that that's easier said than done

and I know from personal experience that it can be tough to find swimming lessons for a child with special needs

whether you're hoping to teach your child yourself or you're looking for lessons here's what you need to know

advice from the Perot's this tee haul the chair of United States when schools special abilities

committee says this cater to the students' abilities not disabilities

the students are capable of so much more than most people will give them credit for

teach them to their abilities

do not focus on what you are told they can not do this is great advice and it's important to

keep it mind when using halls other tips do not use slang or expressive language

as it may not be understood

use clear direct instructions

these will help kids who are more minded understand what to do

be consistent repetitive skill practice can enhance student learning

introduced change slowly

do not bounce from one skill to the next as it can be confusing

spend time laying out a lesson that will benefit the child best and slowly introduce the changes or transitions celebrate all triumphs

it may be as simple as touching the tip of their nose to the water

or it could be swimming the full length of the pool with a new stroke

show them their accomplishment is dead all out time in class for free time

give the students time to explore the water

this may include freedom from their wheelchair

being held but allowed free movements or spending quiet time underwater always

strongly supervised this time for safety but allow them the freedom

many students attend multiple therapy sessions and doctors' appointments and are working hard on new skills

so this can be a refreshing time for the students to just be furry it can also help the instructor get to know them on a new level

so what does all this mean in practice

Marianne Andrew Ross founders of sensory swim a popular one on one swimming program in Virginia and Maryland that has

taught more than 4000 students in the last 10 years shared some of the nuts and bolts of an actual swimming lesson for not to stick child

teaching a child on the spectrum is an uphill battle if you don't address the fears and behaviors

says Andrew Ross when it comes down to swimming it's kicking

the reading and strokes

nothing more that if a child is fearful

you need to get them to relax and trust you

group lessons often don't provide the saw protect a

most instructors will repeat there is nothing to be scared of over and over again that that's

the wrong way to handle it if a kid is scared that they will go under

that tell them that we are scared to go under as well

then we say let's do it together

vulnerability is a powerful tool when used properly

too many instructors will force a kid under but will not go under with Pham we share this

experience with them and celebrate every small way in the area grays saying

the best thing you can do is teach your child how to breathe properly above water first

our body's natural reaction is to close our mouth and tense up while holding our breath

kids need to relax and breathe out and short puffs like going out birthday candles

another way to accomplish this is to have them make a loud noise like Tarzan

this way they are breathing out when they go under they need to close their lips and see mmmm

a keynote for parents is to make sure this experience is also fun

how to find swimming lessons in your area although you can use the expert advice above to teach your child how to swim

many places offer special needs swim lessons

here's how to find them

look for a swim school that is a member of the United States when school association

the association teaches a course internationally that trains swim instructors how to teach swimmers with special abilities

check out the YMCA's State by state list of locations that offer special needs swimming instructions at the national autism

association's web site sensory swim has locations in Bel air and lutherville

Maryland and Chantilly Springfield and sterling Virginia

the instructors are also willing to travel to train other teachers

they also offer workshops to train parents in their methods

safe to splash swim school has locations in 13 states and you can click on the map on its web site to see if there's one near you

swim kids USA has an amazing facility for swimming

gymnastics and dance near phoenix Arizona

also talk to your local cooler contact ought to pay channel therapists in your area you might be surprised at what is offered for autistic kids

asking around like this is how I found a wonderful gymnastics teacher for my son

so you never know what you'll find and less you ask

parents excess to stories lots of parents report that swimming lessons have worked for their kids on the spectrum

Katie Demme all the mom from St. Paul N men who has three girls one with autism

shared as we did swimming lessons through community education

I let them know of my daughters diagnosis when I registered her

and told them she had a lot of sensory issues

I registered her in the same class as her two sisters

they said that was fine and that they would let the teachers know they were great with her

they almost always had an extra teacher just for her but not when it would embarrass her only when they were doing specific exercises

are sensory issues made some things impossible for her

for now anyway like the back float water in her years and some of the strokes water in her eyes

jumping in from the side of the pool or a diving board were all quite challenging

all sensory related stuff was super hard

but she learned so much and gained so much confidence

patty more from Boston MA teaches kindergartners with autism and has two sons on the spectrum

both of whom love to swim surf and boat water and music have been the most therapeutic remedies for my son's anxiety

she sat that finding the right swim teacher

coach can be hard more autism friendly swim lessons are definitely needed with all this in mind I look forward to getting my own autistic

son in the water and helping him for more, confident

and happy as he learns to swim

The 10 Universal Human Needs for a Happy and Healthy Life - Duration: 13:52.

Hi, this is Paul here from selfhelpforlife.com.

And in this video, I'm going to talk about the ten universal human needs for a happy

and healthy life.

Now, if you're watching this video, you already have water, you already have food, you also

already have a roof over your head.

Those most basic human needs are already met for you.

So these human needs are more emotional and mental.

And, what I've found is that, if you ignore some of these, then that tends to effect your

mindset, you tend to feel depressed.

You might start out addictive personalities or addictive tendencies, like alcohol, because

what you then do is you start using those things to try and meet those human needs in

another way, if that kinda makes sense.

When your life is balanced and all these needs are being met, then that's a key to health,

a key to well-being, and feeling happy and fulfilled, too.

Now these universal human needs have come from the Human Givens Model, which is a form

of psychotherapy that was developed in the U.K.

So, let's kick off with the first one, then, which is safety and security.

So we all want to live in an environment that is free from excessive fear.

And this is important so we can develop in a healthy way.

Now, everyone has some need for this, even people who are very adventurous and take a

lot of risks.

Deep down at some level, we all have a need for this safety and security.

And when our environment feels insecure, when it feels unpredictable, or maybe even feels

dangerous, then our mental health will suffer as a result.

So, safety and security really falls into three areas.

Financial security ... so that's having the feeling that we're pretty confident that we're

not gonna lose our job, or lose our house.

It's also around health, feeling pretty confident that our body's gonna look after us for years

to come.

And it's also around our physical safety as well.

So, that can include living in an area where we feel safe walking the streets at night,

or living with a partner that you know is gonna look after you and is not gonna harm

you in any way.

The second one is autonomy and control.

Now we know that life can be unpredictable and uncertain.

But, deep down we do need that sense of control and autonomy.

We need to feel confident about what can happen to us and what can happen around us as well.

And some people can deal with this better than others.

So, when adversity strikes and something unexpected happens, some people seem to rebound much

more quickly than others.

And that's because they have a good sense of internal control.

And, for me, internal control is really about being able to control your emotions, it's

also about being assertive in relationships, to be able to stand up for yourself in relationships.

And to be able to say what you mean, and say what you think.

And obviously in a way that respects the other person as well.

It's also about being able to make and act on decisions, and it really helps to have

long term goals, that really helps as well with that situation.

And it's also about being able to know the difference between internal control and external

control.

Knowing what you can influence in your life, what you can control in your life rather,

and also what you can influence but can't directly control.

So, I think what really helps with this is sometimes we have to just relax and just take

a new perspective on things.

So when life does get a bit challenging at times, just being able to just step back and

just take that perspective.

And also, if things outside of your control are stressing you out, then focus on the other

parts of your life that are going well and are more within your control.

So, the third universal human need is status.

And this is feeling accepted and valued.

And accepted and valued in different social groups as well.

So, work might be one, family might be another, and it is important to feel important.

And this isn't something you should be ashamed of.

And as I mentioned, status isn't just something that comes from work, it can come from being

a good parent, a good son or a good daughter as well.

And you get this sense of fulfilment by having clear roles professionally.

Whether that's in your career, in a relationship, or maybe it's in the community.

Or maybe it's in your family as well.

And one thing I find that can help with this sense of status, if you can't get it from

work or from other ways, is volunteering or leading something.

So, leading something in the community or helping in the community in some way.

Okay, the next one is privacy.

And this is really having the time and space to reflect on life's experiences.

It's having that me time, that time alone, that time when you can reflect on how things

are going in life.

Time when you can sort of consolidate your thoughts, and just decide what's the next

step to take and that kind of thing.

Just really have that big introspective on life, as well.

And again, the amount varies.

Some people don't need very much me time, some people need a lot more.

But we all need it in some way, and you often crave it when you know you need it.

Okay, so the fifth universal human need is attention.

This is receiving attention from others, and also giving attention as well.

And if you have too much time alone, too much of number four, privacy, then that can affect

your mental and emotional state.

And again, this will vary.

More extroverted people need a lot more attention and introverted people, you probably need

more of that me time.

So it does vary, but we all need this at some level.

So, this could be time with family, time with friends, colleagues, acquaintances, even with

pets.

So, some of things you can do if this is lacking within your life is catching up with friends,

or making new friends.

And this is where meetup.com is great, for finding friends with common interests.

So do check out that if you haven't already.

Also, if you live a long way away, or your friends live a long way away, then use phone

or Skype to interact with them that way as well.

Number six is connection to a wider community.

So this is interaction with a larger group of people, and feeling a sense of being part

of that group.

I think this is important, because it can take the focus off yourself and your own problems.

And it also shows that you're doing something that's beyond meeting your own needs.

Just helping to meet the needs of others, and I think that's important as well, to get

out of your own head.

And this has been shown to benefit your immune system, your mental health, and level of happiness

and sense of fulfilment, too.

So some of things you can do is join a club, meet some like minded people.

You know, that can be a hobby or an interest that you have.

Again, meetup.com is great for this as well.

And also, I think what's really good is think about what you're good at and share that with

other people, to help other people in a way, with something you're good at.

Just that process itself can really give you that sense of connection with a wider community.

Okay, number seven is the need for intimacy.

Now intimacy defined by the Human Givens is, emotional connection with others.

That incudes friendship, love, intimacy, and fun.

And so, with at least one person, have that ability to be able to share ideas, share your

hopes.

Share your dreams, and that will make you feel good.

And typically with a loving partner, it's lovely to be able to do that, to be able to

share your hopes, dreams, and goals and that kind of thing.

But you can do this with a close friend as well.

You know, just someone that values who you are, understands who you are, and is willing

to listen.

And maybe it's someone who wants to share their goals and dreams as well.

And if you're in a relationship, then you have a date night, and use that to talk about

your future, and where you're going and your passions and all that kind of thing.

Try and avoid talking about the usual mundane stuff around money and kids and work and that

sort of thing.

And, you know, if you're not in a relationship, then meet up with close friends, you know,

in person ideally, but if not use Skype again, if you're a long way away.

Okay, number eight is look after your body.

Now, maybe you know this person.

It's the person that believes that they can get away on four or five hours sleep.

It's the person that's always first in the office.

The person that skips lunch, their belief is lunch is for wimps.

It's the person that doesn't go to the gym, doesn't have time for the gym, too busy for

that.

And they probably have a few cups of coffee to get them through the day.

Now, that kind of person ... maybe you can relate to that person.

Maybe that person's you.

You know, that kind of lifestyle is just not sustainable long term.

You can do it for a little while, but not long term.

That will start to lead to psychological problems and stress related illness if you keep doing

that.

So, it's important that you make time to look after your body, and that includes getting

enough sleep, getting good quality sleep, getting enough rest.

Having that time out to relax, also exercising, whether it's just walking or something a bit

more energetic like weights or cardio.

Having a healthy diet, just getting out in the fresh air, and also you know, visiting

the doctor regularly and getting the regular health checks done as well.

You know, making sure you have time to value yourself and your body to do all those kind

of things.

Okay, so the ninth universal human need is competence and achievement.

So this is having a sense of your own competence and your ability to achieve things.

It's about having what it takes to meet life's demands.

So, really it's about having confidence.

It's about feeling that you're making progress in life, and that you're achieving your goals,

you're achieving things in life.

And if you haven't really got much that you're achieving in life at the moment, if life seems

to be very sort of normal and just the same thing all the time, then your first step really,

is to focus on something new.

Something like learning a new skill, go to an evening class and learn something new,

or learn it online if you prefer to do it that way.

You can look back at what you enjoyed in the past.

Maybe there's some hobbies that you did in the past that you seem to have, don't have

the time for doing now.

Maybe you could start making the time to develop that hobby again.

And it's also about setting goals, you know, setting goals in all areas of life, whether

it's ... it could be weekly goals, monthly and yearly goals.

So, setting those regular goals, and then you can have that enjoyment and satisfaction

of watching the progress as you're achieving those goals.

Okay, number ten is having a sense of purpose, goals and meaning.

So, it's having a strong sense that future plans are worthwhile, and that you can achieve

them.

So number nine was about really having those things to strive for, but they've gotta be

worthwhile, they've gotta be something you really want in life.

That's really what this last one's about.

It's also about having beliefs and values that you stand by.

So, having those principles that guide your life, that's important as well.

It's also about having the satisfaction from achieving goals and solving problems.

So, this is where the goal setting's important, so you have that satisfaction as you watch

your goals progress and you achieve things along the way.

And when you have that sense of purpose, goals and meaning, your imagination starts to work

for you.

You start to picture yourself, you start to picture things going well, you start to picture

yourself in those new situations as well.

And what I've found is that when people have no real goal, and purpose or meaning in their

life, that their life feels worthless.

It feels as if life has no meaning.

It feels that there's no real reason for their existence, and that something's missing in

their life.

And then you get that feeling of boredom, or that kind of empty feeling.

And then what tends to happen is your imagination starts to focus on what's not working, it

starts to fear the worst, because imagination is not getting a chance to be used in a more

positive and resourceful way.

So, for this one, what I recommend you do is step back, think about what you want to

achieve in your life.

And then, once decided, create a plan of action to do that.

And another little tip, I'd say on this one, is don't make finding your purpose or meaning

in life something that could take years to find out.

The reality is a couple of things.

One is, there could be many meanings and purposes that could fit you, okay?

So it could be several.

And secondly, your purpose and meaning in life could well change over time.

So just think about what you think makes sense to you for now, what gives you that passion,

what gives you that excitement and go with that, knowing that you can always change and

develop that over time and that's absolutely fine to do.

So, I hope you found these ten universal human needs useful.

I suspect you related to some more than others, maybe the ones that you do a lot of already.

Or maybe the ones that you feel, ah yes, I'm just not doing much of this at the moment.

Maybe that's the reason you're feeling unhappy, or feeling a little bit flat about life, or

just feeling that there's something missing, something more I could be doing.

So, what I invite you to do is to take the time to work on those ones, see if you can

incorporate a few new activities into your life, that's gonna meet that human need in

a better way.

And I really encourage you to do that, so you have a more balanced life, it'll be more

fulfilling, happy and enjoyable.
