Body of teen missing for seven years turns up in a place so crazy it only raises more questions

When police investigate a crime scene they can often determine the exact sequence of events that led up to the incident based on the evidence

Other times though police are baffled because the circumstances are just so bizarre

What afternoon a teenager named Joshua Maddox went for a relaxing stroll around his neighborhood, but he never returned home

Seven years later a group of construction workers came across shocking evidence related to the case while demolishing an old cabin

But what they found raised far more questions than answers?

In

2008 18 year-old Joshua Maddox left his Woodland, Colorado home to enjoy a relaxing stroll around his neighborhood

Little did his family know that was the last time anyone would see him alive

Josh never returned home that evening a few days after he went missing his parents contacted local authorities

They scoured the town of woodland and surrounding counties, but every search came up empty for

Seven years the Maddox family remained hopeful however. They couldn't help, but feel heartbroken when just a few blocks from their home

Contractors tore down an old cabin and discovered something startling it would raise more questions than answers

see inside the cabins chimney where the remains of a corpse the

Contractors were horrified and the immediately contacted police after a thorough examination by forensic experts

Investigators concluded the remains belong to Josh

Still police were baffled at the details surrounding the morbid discovery

Josh's body was found in the fetal position, and he was nude from the waist down

But the coroner who examined him found no signs of trauma on the body

None of evidence made any sense

the coroner's office ruled Josh's death accidental by unknown cause

It was a disheartening conclusion for the Maddox family. They wanted to know what happened to their son, but they weren't finding any plausible answers

From an early age Josh was an outgoing and unique child who made friends easily and always had a spark of

Enthusiasm about him he loved writing stories and playing music especially the guitar

Josh was always a respectful boy growing up

And he was never involved with a troublesome crowd this made the case so much more unsettling

What exactly happened that fateful day he went for a walk?

Joshua's younger brother had taken his own life two years before

Josh's disappearance and police felt the tragedy may have sparked a change in the young man

It may have weighed heavily on his conscience, and that was why Josh decided to leave and not come home

But it still didn't explain everything

Josh's sister Ruth was particularly heartbroken this was the second brother. She lost in a decade

she and Josh were best friends, and she always admired his charm and

unrelenting enthusiasm for life

One of the family's biggest questions her under the location of Josh's death the cabin was very close to the Maddox home

Josh wasn't found miles away his body was literally two blocks away from where his family lived

the cabin was situated on a property known as

Thunderhead ranch the original owner of the property a man named Burt Bergstrom made quite a name for himself while he was its caretaker

Thunderhead ranch was infamous for a number of illegal activities including gambling and wild alcohol fueled parties

The property was eventually sold off and the cabin remained vacant for the last ten years

Even the cabins sordid history didn't seem to explain. What happened to Josh the Maddox's spent years scouring the woods near their home

Including the Pike National Forest they wanted nothing more than to find closure, but it constantly eluded

After josh's remains were discovered in the abandoned cabin Ruth posted an online tribute to her brother on the woodland park website

Despite the mystery of his death she applauded Johnson's charisma, and she said she was relieved his remains were found

The Maddox family may have found some peace in the fact that Josh's remains were finally recovered

But the mystery of his death still lingered and police have made no

Headway in solving it the cabins most recent owner did say that at least the last several times

He visited an awful smell permeated the air still he figured an animal had died inside. He never suspected

It was the body of a missing teenager

Even though Josh's death was ruled an accident the last person

He was seen with before he disappeared was a man named, Andrew Newman

Andrew had been in trouble with the law most of his adult life

And he was even charged with several counts of murder after Josh's disappearance

unfortunately, no substantial evidence connected him to Josh's death

Josh's family still wanted police investigators to search for clues as to how he ended up in the chimney

Sadly the case was transferred to the jurisdiction of the coroner's office, which officially ruled it an accident

Until new evidence comes to light the mystery of Josh maddux's death still haunts his family

They pray that one day answers will be found until then they can only hold the memories of Josh close to their hearts

Closure is so important when it comes to cases like this one families

Just want to know what happened to their loved ones and even if the answer is tragic at least it's some kind of resolution

What do you think happen to Josh share this unsolved case with your friends below?

5 Tips for Monster Hunter: World [Tips and Tricks Friday] - Duration: 5:20.

Everything about Monster Hunter world is huge from the monsters, weapons, and world,

to the IRL fanbase. The creators over at Capcom have made it

easier than ever to pick up a Monster Hunter game. But even so, some gamers

still see it as a challenge. While we've all heard the learning curve

is steep and the grind is real don't let that intimidate you and definitely don't

let it stop you from playing this rich and beautiful game. So for those of you

new to this beloved franchise here are 5 crucial tips to help you get

started on Monster Hunter: World.

Tip #1: Right time, Right place. If

your plan was to jump into this game half-heartedly you might want to

reconsider your approach. Because of the size and the moderate complexity of this

game, you'll want to set aside a decent chunk of time to truly grasp the

fundamentals. The beginning requires a lot of reading and learning so if you're

not able to give the game your full attention you'll likely miss out on some

key information required for progress. Another thing to note is that this is

the type of game that could leave you completely lost if you set it down too

quickly so it's important to spend quality time getting comfortable with

the mechanics.

Tip #2: Areas to focus on.

Because there's so much thrown

at you at the start of this game it's good to focus on a couple key parts,

instead of trying to remember everything. So here are a few quick suggestions to

keep in m ind. Upgrade your weapons and Palco gear early and often. Keep track of

scout flies for discovering your quest objective and collect all the things. And

lastly check the mini-map in the hub and watch for exclamation points and red

markers to help identify who to talk to next. Another good thing to remember is

to register your bounties as often as possible. If you don't, you'll be missing

out on two key rewards research points which can be used to purchase meals,

fertilizers for your harvest boxes, and armor for your trusty Palico, and armor

spheres which are used to upgrade... well armor.

Tip #3: Weapon of Choice

Like we mentioned in the last tip,

understanding the weapon system is an important part of Monster Hunter: World.

The best way to get familiar with the weapons is to go to the hecking training

grounds. Take time to practice with all the different types of weapons because

each has its own unique power combos playstyle and perks. Find the weapons you

like and then take them out into the field to learn how they work against

actual monsters and if it jives with your play style. There are some awesome

weapon mechanics but if you don't spend the time getting to know them you could

be missing out on some serious damage dealing tricks and don't forget to

upgrade your weapons and gear as often as you can at the smithy.

One last thing, keep your weapons in top shape blades and blunt weapons need to

stay sharp or else they won't do as much damage. But since it takes a few moments

to sharpen make sure you can afford the time. A good starter weapon is the bow.

While it does less damage the mechanics are simple and you don't need to sharpen

it. Plus it allows you to keep your distance from the monsters during a hunt.

Tip #4 Before Battle

As you get deeper into the game hunts are going to

get tougher and tougher. So to ensure success you may need to do more than

just upgrade your gear. Eat at the canteen before every battle. It'll boost

your attack and defense which will give you the extra edge needed to take down

some of the more difficult monsters. Plus the food looks incredibly appetizing and

if you forget to visit meowscular chef before leaving Astera, don't worry. You

can still get a hot meal at the camp before you start your mission however

you'll miss out on your palico pal's wonderful theatrics. Besides food make

sure your gears upgraded and you have bounties registered. Lastly don't forget

to loot the chest once you get to camp. The items are free and it usually has a

few potions, traps, or other items that will make getting the job done that much

easier.

Tip #5: Patience is a *Legit* Virtue.

That grind we mentioned

earlier is very real. Players have put hundreds upon hundreds of hours into the

previous Monster Hunter games and considering the main quest of this game is

supposedly around 40 to 50 hours long it'll likely be the same for this one.

As with most big games sometimes it just takes some good old-fashioned time to

learn and love. If you don't completely understand this game right away just

stick with it and be patient. It's more a matter of time and experience. There's no

shortage of charm in this game from the quirks and puns to the characters and

personalities. It all adds fun, color, and light heartedness to a seemingly

intimidating game but the developers worked hard to ensure they hit the sweet

spot of being deep and challenging yet ready to be played and enjoyed by the

masses. We think they've done exactly that so good luck on the hunt fifths. May

your sword stay sharp and may you find the monsters before they find you.

Joe Biden Prepares For A 2020 Presidential Run - Duration: 3:37.

According to recent interviews given to politico, aids to former vice president, Joe Biden have

said that the vice president is absolutely pretty much preparing for a 2020 presidential

run, and that he's actually going through several different scenarios in which he could

announce his campaign.

They're basically trying to decide if they want to announce their campaign now, and then

make all of the other candidates have to be centered around Joe Biden; or should they

do something crazy and wait until after the voting in Iowa and New Hampshire, and then

announce that Joe Biden's running so that he doesn't have to waste his time with those

states.

They're, basically according to these aids, playing with a million different scenarios,

under which Joe Biden could announce that he's running for president in 2020.

All signs, which likely point that Joe Biden is definitely going to run for president in

2020.

My question for the democratic party is, is that the best you got?

Is this really where we want to be when we approach the 2020 presidential elections?

Rehashing the same old faces, the same old names, with the same old policies running

against a guy who's basically bullet proof at this point?

In terms of scandals actually effecting his electability.

We need somebody out there who's a little bit tougher, who's a little bit fresher, who's

a little bit more energizing, and who has better policies.

And that's the most important one.

We know what to expect from Joe Biden.

Personally, as a human being, I like Joe Biden.

He was my first choice during the primaries of 2008.

But times have changed a lot in the last decade since 2008, and I do not believe that Joe

Biden would be the best possible democratic candidate.

I don't know who the best democratic candidate would be at this point, and to be honest I

don't know that I even know of them yet.

I think it's going to be somebody that we don't expect, somebody whose name is not well

known.

And to be honest, I think that's what we need.

I think we need somebody with fresh ideas, maybe somebody a little bit younger, maybe

somebody who understands the struggles of millennials and the younger generation, maybe

somebody who hasn't been born and bred into American politics and is actually an outsider,

somebody that hasn't been a millionaire or billionaire at any point in their life, somebody

that's actually gone to the grocery and not had enough money to pay for what was in their

cart.

That's the kind of person we need as president, somebody that understands the actual struggles

of average american citizens.

Joe Biden is a fairly decent politician, and I wouldn't agree with everything that he would

do as president, but I do think he would do some good things.

But I think overall his time has passed.

If he wanted to run for president, he had his opportunity in 2016, and he declined it.

That was his decision, and I know we can't stop him from running in 2020, but I think

we should continue looking for a better candidate to center the 2020 presidential election around;

and make all the other candidates adapt to that persons policies, instead of everybody

going towards a more centrist cooperate dem who's a good fighter, but not that great of

a politician.

Celebrity New : Becca Kufrin Forgives Arie Luyendyk Jr. for Breaking Up With Her on The Bachelor - Duration: 5:21.

Becca Kufrin Forgives Arie Luyendyk Jr. for Breaking Up With Her on The Bachelor

Even though Arie Luyendyk Jr.

called off their engagement on national television to pursue another woman, Becca Kufrin doesnt consider him a monster.

Hes a good person, I dont think hes a monster and purposely did this to hurt me and make me feel this way.

But its just the result of his actions, Kufrin, 27, told People.

At the end of the day, I dont think he thought through everything of how ending things with Lauren would be, how being engaged to me would be and what breaking up with me and going back to her would be.

I dont think he thought it through, but I dont think he did it maliciously to break my heart..

Luyendyk proposed to Kufrin on Mondays episode of The Bachelor.

However, he broke up with the Minneapolis-based publicist later in the finale and said he was still in love with the runner-up Lauren Burnham. .

There was a better and more tactful way to do it, Kufrin said about Luyendyk calling off their engagement on national television.

A breakup is hard enough, and to have it all filmed and have to re-watch it and know that people all across the country are watching you get your heart broken, it is embarrassing.

Its not fun.

I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.

It was like a slap in the face..

Kufrin knew Luyendyk had professed his love for Burnham on the show and that he had conflicting feelings about the breakup.

However, she said she experienced red flags once season 22 premiered in early January.

Kufrin told People she caught Luyendyk liking some of Burnhams Instagram photos.

Apparently, Burnham wasnt the only former contestant he was contacting. Bekah Martinez revealed Luyendyk direct messaged her after the show, too.

I was upset, I was angry at times, I felt betrayed, Kufrin told People.

When I started noticing those little things like the Instagram likes, I was trying to come at it from a relationship standpoint to compromise and talk through it..

Looking back, Kufrin said she wishes Luyendyk hadnt proposed and that she would have been fine pursing a relationship without an engagement.

However, she doesnt fault Burnham for her fallout with Luyendyk.

At the end of the day, we both just fell in love with the same guy and she cant help that, Kufrin told the magazine.

The only person that I can fault in this is Arie and the way he handled it.

I do feel a little bad that its going to be really tough for them when all of this is said and done.

Social media is a hard world to navigate through, and theres going to be a lot of negativity and I dont think she deserves that..

She also said she forgives Luyendyk.

Theyre going to be together and do their thing.

I wanted to move on and have my person that I can focus on and live my life with, she told the magazine.

At the end of the day, I do forgive him..

Best Training Frequency for Natural Bodybuilders - Duration: 3:30.

Is a training frequency of 1, 1.5 or 2times each muscle group per week enough?

Hello everybody, This is dr.Fox from the Fox's Power Basement.

Please, like and subscribe.

There is no simple answer to this question, but "it depends".

Since training frequency, volume and intensity are so interrelated, frequency really depends

on how much you're doing each workout, and the intensity you are working with.

It also depends on your training age.

When you're a beginner, everything seems to work.

In my first decade of training, I did typical 'bro splits' most of the time, working

each muscle group on a different day, with a frequency of only once per week.

That worked fine for me, as it does for almost all beginners.

Of course you have to put in a lot of volume, and a lot of intensity, since you're working

the muscle group only once each week.

Later on I performed full body workouts, 3 times per week, but had to lower volumes,

and lower intensity in each of those workouts, that still took me over 2 hours each time.

Nowadays I workout 3 times per week, alternating upper / lower body, each time for 90 minutes.

This way I train each muscle group 3 times in 2 weeks, making it a relative low frequency

of 1.5 per week.

I had several people asking me how that can be enough to obtain a physique like mine.

But if only they would realize the amount of volume and even more intensity I put in

each workout, performing 4 to 5 sets of the compound exercises reverse pyramid training

style, taking every set nearly to the limit, and if only they would feel how exhausted

I am afterwards, surely they would understand.

Don't take me wrong, I don't take every set to failure, I keep 1 or 2 reps in reserve,

and track my weekly progress, still trying to hit PR's, and note the Rate of Perceived

Exertion (RPE) after each set.

I know from experience -believe me I have tried- that if I would do a fourth workout

each week, with the same volume and intensity, I would not be able to recover.

Of course, if you prefer to work out more frequently, that's completely fine, but

you will have to lower the volume and/or intensity.

But personally, once I'm in my gym, warmed up, and with the right mindset, I just like

to go all the way, and max out volume and intensity in that particular session.

So the answer to the question is: If you're putting in enough intensity and

volume per workout, a training frequency of 1, 1.5 or 2 per week can surely be enough.

I hope you enjoyed this video.

"Positioning an Immobilized or Limited Mobility Patient" by Mary-Jeanne Manning for OPENPediatrics - Duration: 3:20.

Positioning an Immobilized or Limited Mobility Patient, by Mary-Jeanne Manning.

We have noted bony prominences, or pressure points, here on the inner knee.

When a patient is side-lying, we will put pillows in that area so that the knee bones

are not rubbing against one another and putting pressure on both sides.

So you keep the knees and ankles directly from touching one another.

When placing a patient on his side, we like to avoid any direct pressure on the hip bone.

In babies, especially, the head is extremely heavy.

And we need to support the head while preventing any breakdown.

The occipital area is one area that is at high risk.

There are several different things to use.

Pillows will provide adequate cushion.

But we also use a gel device.

And these are available.

You can look them up as resources on the internet.

But whatever you have available to you that can cushion the area is the best choice.

The other suggestion is as we reposition the patient, that we not drag them across the

bed, for instance, like this.

We're causing shear underneath.

So we ask that people lift the patient completely off the bed in order to move them.

You may need other assistants to help you, in order to lift bigger and heavier patients.

I'm going to reposition this patient to move the pressure off the bony prominences that

we've pointed out.

One of the most important things for us is to have the heels off the end of the bed.

So whatever you have at your disposal to use that's a soft device to lift the heels off

the end of the bed is adequate.

Other prominences that you'd want to cushion are the elbows and wrists.

And here, I'm just using blankets, nice, soft receiving blankets.

And either a pillow or a gel pillow under the head.

When we turn the patient, we can see there are other pressure areas on the coccyx, even

along the spine, and on the scapula.

Those, too, need to be considered when we're moving the patient and taking pressure off

those points.

We, depending on the acuity of the child, will turn them side to side or just even what

we call, list them, which is a slight turn.

Any change in pressure off those bony points is very, very important.

So even if we can't turn them a big degree, a small degree of turning every two hours

is critical to keep the skin intact.

Studio98 Helpful tips for business owners -How to Beat Negativity - Duration: 7:44.

- Look you're gonna face obstacles.

There are obstacles you're gonna have

and that's okay.

But when you have negative, nasty, down people around you,

that makes it so much worse.

(smooth piano music)

If you have people who are constantly negative around you,

who are constantly putting you down,

putting down what you're doing,

literally, don't spend time with those people.

Get rid of them.

Sometime people will say,

"Oh I just want to bring them up, help them."

Which is fine, but that doesn't meant you have to

have them on your inner circle,

constantly telling you why everything is bad

and while you're trying to help them.

Do help them.

But do spend time improving yourself,

getting more training, getting more understanding of life,

getting things done, accomplishing your goals.

You're gonna be so much happier doing that.

I'm really picky about who I listen to.

When somebody tells me something's not possible,

somebody tells me, "Oh, well you can't do that."

I pretty much ignore them.

I really don't care.

If somebody wants to tell me that something's not possible,

I do not listen to them at all.

I have a story for you guys on this.

There was a time where I could have really listened

to some naysayers that I had.

I had some people who were like negative,

blah, blah, blah, in my life.

Now, my company was much smaller,

we were doing a much lower volume.

I had about eight staff at the time

and I wanted to build something amazing.

I wanted to build something big,

but I had some problems.

We had this little home office, separate set-up.

The road was here, the house was here.

And in Florida it'll rain.

It'll rain like, it'll be clear blue sky

and five minutes later, it's like

(imitates thunder)

Rain, and then you literally go back outside again,

and it's five minutes later and it's clear blue sky.

It would rain, the water would come on the roof,

and that would have been okay,

except there was a mango tree in the courtyard.

And the mango tree has these massive leaves

and they fall over the gutter,

so the water would come on the roof,

and they would land on the roof

and they would come over the gutter.

And so what would happen is

I would be in this little office space that we had

and I would be on the phone with a client and I'd be like,

"Okay, yeah, I'll take care of that for you."

And I'd turn around and the water would be

flooding into our office.

Inside the office.

You know like the term you bail out a boat, right?

You bail out like this little thing

'cause it's got a whole in it,

so you're there with a bucket

bailing out a boat.

Not so many people had to bail out a house, right.

So we actually had--

I had the guys in there in the office and I would say,

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no, no, keep working,

"it's fine, I got it."

I'd run outside with one of those yellow ponchos

and I would pull leaves out of the gutter

so that the water would go back down

and it would stop flooding in our office.

And this happened over and over and over and over again.

And we had people coming out there

to try to figure out what was going on.

I had people who were telling me

I wasn't gonna succeed.

I had somebody who literally said,

"What you're going to do is fail."

I had somebody tell me that,

straight to my face,

"You're gonna fail."

I don't even care.

It's not even like I got annoyed or like,

bah, wah, wah.

Literally, I just ignore it.

It's like, "Okay, cool, man."

And then next.

Move on.

I don't get riled up or like attack or fight

because it doesn't matter.

I just move on.

We go out to this trade show,

and it was an industry trade show and we're like,

"Yeah, let's do some great things."

So we actually get this opportunity to pitch

a very large company, a Fortune 500 company.

And we only had 72 hours to prepare for this,

so we actually had to create designs

of what we were gonna do.

We had to create mock-ups and examples of these things

to say here's what we're gonna do.

I didn't even have the real thing.

And these guys came to us and said,

"Well, when can you start delivering this?"

And we said, "Now."

I will tell you, we worked long hours.

I was up 'til way early.

I was late at night, early in the morning,

like five in the morning,

and then David our partner, my partner,

he would get up at five in the morning

and then he would start, and I would tell him

here's what we were working on

and then he would start working

and I would go sleep for a few hours,

then I would get back up and we would keep working on it

and we literally repeated the same thing.

We pulled off,

we pulled off creating something

that most businesses have failed to do in years,

we pulled off in basically three months.

Meanwhile, we actually had to service these customers,

'cause the guy said, "Can you service them?"

We said yes.

So we had temporary solutions for servicing these people

while we actually built the whole technology.

Now I could've had my attention on the fact

that I had a very small business,

that I was working 20 hours a day,

that I was broke,

and I had a house and an office that flooded.

I had some things stacked against me.

And I could have focused on all of those points

and said, "I can't do this."

But we pulled it off, we made it happen,

and we've had that customer for years now.

And the main sources of bad news that I see,

that make you not want to do anything are

naysayers, bad people that you have around you,

negative people that you have surrounding you.

Right, and that can be friends,

that can be family, it doesn't matter,

you can have that.

News.

Gosh, don't get me started.

Everything in the news is bad news.

It's all death and destruction,

everything we watch pretty much.

I mean when I say everything,

that's pretty much everything.

That's what they do.

This is the ninja one.

And you may not even be thinking with this,

but who you have connected with on social media.

I see guys who will go on social media

and they'll fight with other people on social media

and it's super-exciting because you can sit there,

you know, with your Cheetos,

in the basement of your grandmother's house,

and you can fight with other people with no repercussions.

That's pretty much what happens today online.

You can sit there and you're like,

"Oh, yeah, I'm so, I'm winning this battle."

Honestly, who cares?

If you have people who are being nasty and negative

and things like that on your social media,

delete them, unfriend them, unfollow them,

and that's not because oh well I don't want to receive that,

and blah, blah, blah.

I just don't see those conversations being done in a way

to solve a problem.

If you have a disagreement on political views,

disagreements on religious views,

disagreements on business views,

disagreements on personal views,

you're not like, "Oh my gosh, all of a sudden,

"I'm going to come up to some epiphany about life."

because they were fighting on Facebook.

If you want to correct that with somebody,

then give them a call, see them in person,

be a real human and go and talk it out

and if you want to do it that way,

hey, man, power to you.

Because most people today,

based on their education that they've had,

they're sitting there and they'll read a meme.

They're now taking that

and you have three bullet points about something

and that's what they take as truth.

Be specific about who you surround yourself with.

Be specific about who you listen to.

Don't waste your time

on things that are just nasty, negative,

et cetera, et cetera.

Go spend your time building your life.

Go spend your time achieving your goals.

Go spend your time learning new things for real.

You're gonna be so much happier.

Comment, like, subscribe.

Hey, you know one thing I'd love to hear about:

comment about any times that

you had somebody who was negative,

that you were connected with,

and then once you actually got them out of your space.

Right, kind of like,

didn't have to spend so much time with them.

How did life change for you?

I'd love to hear how life changed

after you removed some of these negative people,

this negative communication from your life.

I will see you guys tomorrow.

Have a great one.
