Ayo! It's Bryan here. Today, going to be talking about the San Francisco 49ers.
Going to be talking about the NFL Draft yet again and going to be talking about one
prospect in particular, running back Saquon Barkley from Penn State. So if you
don't know Saquon Barkley. As I said, running back for Penn State. One of the
top players in the NFL Draft this year. One of the top running backs in the few
couple of years. He is a really good pass catcher and a really good runner. So if
you have two good things, boom! Diverse running back. Aye, any team
would love to have him that needs a running back or just need to spark in
the offense and Saquon Barkley can potentially do that and I think he will
do that. So I'm going to be pondering the question. Should the 49ers try to trade
up within the top 3 to get Saquon Barkley? Now that's kind of a tough
question because say Saquon Barkley as I said, really good player. Once in a
great years of great player. I don't know what you want to call. I wouldn't say once in
a generational player, but once in a couple of years, great player and I
believe that he is going to be one of the top running backs in the NFL in a couple
of years. He might make a Pro Bowl, All Pro, Rookie of the Year maybe by 2018
this year. So we'll see what happens. Don't want to do any crazy speculation,
but he is a top prospect in the NFL Draft. So with the 9th pick for the
49ers, he has a 99.9% chance of not being there by the 9th pick.
He's going to be going by the top 5 in my opinion. He'll be gone by either
Cleveland twice if Cleveland doesn't trade the picks, by New York. Indianapolis, not really.
So I'm going to be ruling them out. Really the top 4 out of 5 picks, I think
he's going to be taken away from whoever wants him and I think Cleveland's
probably the top pick because they have two 1st round pick or the New York
Giants might take him as well. So we'll see what happens.
I believe the 49ers should NOT trade up to get Saquon Barkley. I think that's
a big risk and I know I said in my last video that the 49ers should trade up the
9th pick to get one of the top players in the NFL Draft, but I do not believe
Saquon Barkley is the guy that I would do that with. I would do that with either
Bradley Chubb maybe. Maybe with a defensive back, but defensive backs might
be there. Quenton Nelson if they believe that. I mean, I don't know top
3 but, I would trade up a little bit just to ensure that I get a really good
player and I think there's a lot of great players as I said in my last video
about top prospects in this year's draft. I know Saquon Barkley's a really
good player. I know he'd be a perfect complement to Jimmy Garoppolo, but I feel
like the offensive line is going to be better this year maybe, potentially.
The running back, it's kind of in question. I know that, but
I don't feel like we should be giving up one [all] eggs in one basket for a running back
and I believe defense wins championships. I believe they should go defense again
with the first couple of rounds I would say and then go offense because I feel
like Jimmy Garoppolo has stabilized the offense, but the defense needs a lot of work.
I just don't believe we should go for Saquon Barkley not because he's a
bad running back, definitely not. I'm just saying that I wouldn't want to give up
too many compensation. Too many draft picks and players or whatever, cash to
get Saquon Barkley. I just wouldn't do that. I think it's a big risk. If we want
to do that, we do it with a defensive player in my opinion. That's just me.
I know a lot of you guys wanted to trade up to gets Saquon Barkley and if they do, hey.
They might prove me wrong, but as of right now, I do not believe we should be
doing that and giving up everything just for running back in my opinion.
That's going to be pretty much it you guys. Just wanted to talk about this real quick
because Saquon Barkley is an interesting case study right here for
the 49ers and we know he's not going to be there by No. 9. So if they really
wanted to get him, they would have to trade up to get him in some way, shape or form.
So I'm not really banking on that. We'll see if John Lynch really, really is
in love with him, but I don't think anything's going to happen. I just want to
talk about this because he was on everyone's mind in San Francisco just a
little bit. I heard some of you guys talk about Barkley a little bit. So I wanted
to talk about that and chime in on my opinion on this. Please comment below
what you guys think about Saquon Barkley. Do you think we should get him?
Do you think we should trade up to get him in some way, shape or form? But hey!
If he's with the 9th pick overall and he's out there, then maybe they should
take him, but I'm talking about just trading up to get him with the top 2
to a top 3 pick. I don't think it's going to happen. Please "Like," SUBSCRIBE, do whatever you
want this and I'll be touching you guys up later. Tomorrow, I should have a Q&A video.
I'm not sure what I want to do. Maybe make another draft video.
So within this week, I will have my Q&A video with you guys. Hopefully, you guys stay
tuned to that. I'll see y'all later. Bye guys. Love y'all. Y'all have a good day!
