The Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the world's ocean, a place tantalisingly close

to the earth's mantle, a place where no light shines and where pressure is 1000 times

what it is at sea level.

What is down there?

Can anything survive these wretched conditions?

Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions.

I am your host, Rebecca Felgate and today I am asking what is at the bottom of the Mariana

Trench.

Before we dive deep into this video, I just want to remind you guys to give this video

a thumbs up and leave us a comment to let us know your thoughts on the Mariana Trench

and what big question you guys would like answered next.

So, the Mariana Trench is located in the Western Pacific ocean, just south of Guam.

The trench is a deep scar in the earth's crust, deeper than any peak on earth.

The very bottom of the trench is officially 10 thousand 994 metres below sea level, so

36 thousand and 70 ft, however some unconfirmed reports add a further 40 or so metres in depth.

The Mariana Trench is pretty huge; spanning 1,580 miles in length and 43 miles in width.

The deepest part is called the Challenger Deep, which has been the location of four

deep sea descents, including one by Canadian film director, James Cameron in 2012.

So, what is down there when James Cameron and research teams aren't down there testing

their depth limits?

Well, these four descent missions have shed a lot of light on this dark pocket of the

planet.

Living at the bottom of the trench is everybody's placid mate, the sea cucumber.

What do they do?

Well.. not a lot…they slink about and suck and eat.

Also joining them at the very bottom of the ocean are Amphipods, which look like Albino

Shrimp.

Marine biologists have also observed tiny organisms in samples from the sea bed.

How do how do the things that lives this far down survive….well…mostly from sea snow.

What is sea snow?

Falling cells from dead animals higher up in the ocean, like whales and other big fish.

Hey…wanna build a sea snowman.

Ew.

Unfortunately, with all of the waste dropping down to the bottom of the sea bed like this,

pollution levels are high at the bottom of the Trench.

A 2016 research expedition found very high levels of a chemical toxin called PCB in the

sediment of the trench.

This toxin was banned on land in the 70s as it can cause liver damage and effect hormones

in the body.

Clearly the life at the bottom of the trench is impervious to the harm most animals would

be exposed to with this toxin around.

So aside from some sea cucumber, albino shrimp, and a lot of dead cells…what else is at

the bottom of the trench?

Well.. at the moment a whole lot of nothing, but that may not always be the case.

Presumably due to its location near Guam, the trench has been commandeered by the United

States, who have made it a Unties States National monument.

What do the American's want to do with their monument and area of key planetary interest?

Well… dump some nukes of course!

Plans to dump inactive nuclear devices in the trench have been discussed, however it

is currently a crime by international law to ocean dump nuclear waste, so we will see

about that one.

On top of that, it is predicted that shifting tectonic plates could push waste from the

trench into the earth's mantle, and we have no idea how nuclear substances and the mantle

may react together…it could be pretty awful.

So we know what is down there, but what does it sound like?

Well actually, it isn't as quiet as you would think.

NOAA researchers recorded sounds near the bottom of the trench, and it seems you can

hear distant wale moans, the far off sounds of ships passing by Guam and even the sound

of distant earth quakes.

Although, scientists heard a very strange sound indeed, that they have dubbed the Western

Pacific Biotwang…which some people have said could be the sound of a Baleen Wale making

a previously unheard of mating call…or it could be something else entirely.

We just don't know.

So, that is one mysterious question answered for you!

What do you think is at the bottom of the Mariana Trench?

Let me know in the comments section down below….

What do you think that mystery sound is?

Also, as always, be sure to leave this video with a thumbs up, share it with a friend and

stay subscribed for more big answers.

I am your host Rebecca Felgate, I'll catch you in the next video, but for now, stay curious

stay alert and never ever stop questioning.

10 STUPID Things Your CCO Is Doing- Episode 4 - Duration: 8:37.

- Hey everyone, it's Leila Shaver here with another

episode of the 10 stupid things your CCO is doing.

Today we're gonna be talking about cyber security.

So cyber security's a big hot topic for state and

federal regulators.

Why?

We've just been seeing a lot of hacks here in the last

few years.

When you think about every time you turn on the news

and heard about a Target or another big retailer that's

had their consumer information hacked by overseas hackers.

It seems like there's one every few months that we

hear about.

So that's a big issue for financial institutions because

you have particular information you keep;

like social security numbers, addresses, dates of birth,

all this kind of information that's really necessary

for someone to be able to hack that server and take

that identification information and go and setup a

few dozen credit cards and steal money.

So it's a really big issue.

The case I'm gonna discuss with you today is not the

Meryl Lynch million dollar fund case,

I'm actually gonna be talking about a St. Louis based

advisor.

The name of the advisor is R.T. Jones Capital Equities

Management.

They settled with the SEC back in September of 2015

and agreed that they had failed to implement cyber

security policies and procedures that would've been

able to address the hack they suffered where they had

the personally identifiable information of 100,000 people,

including, that number included thousands of their

own clients.

That information was hacked.

So what happened?

So this information, this personally identifiable

information, or PII, was saved on a third party's

web server.

That server was hacked and the information of

approximately 100,000 people was stolen.

R.T. Jones went and hired a few different cyber

security consultants, they came in,

they confirmed the hack indeed happened and they were

able to identify the hack had come from China,

so it was an overseas hacker.

However, they didn't have any cyber security policies

and procedures.

There was no procedure in terms of how do they respond

to a cyber security incident, what happens?

What's the response to it?

So none of that was in place.

And R.T. Jones, after the cyber security consultants

confirmed the hack, identified that it was coming

from China, R.T. Jones had to go and then contact every

single person and let them know that their PII,

their personally identifiable information,

had been stolen because there was a hack on their server.

They then offered, for free, third party monitoring of

their accounts for a time after that to ensure that

there weren't going to be any further incidents or issues.

And as of the date of this release from the SEC,

there hadn't been any sort of further financial

compromise of the information that had been hacked.

So what happened to R.T. Jones?

Well up until this time they've had to pay for multiple

cyber security consultants, they had to pay for third

party monitoring of 100,000 people,

and they also had to take the time and money to identify

and send information to all 100,000 people about the

fact that their information had been hacked.

And of course, if you're gonna get that kind of letter

you're gonna follow up and be like,

"What the hell happened?"

So just think about all the time it takes away from

managing and running your advisory business to address

all of these calls, emails, complaints coming in.

So there's all the cost of time and energy spent on

getting all these providers to come in and protect

and respond.

Okay so what was the SEC fine?

It was $75,000 and a (mumbles).

But you take on top of that all the cost of getting

out of the mess, you're looking at hundreds of

thousands of dollars.

Now, are you gonna be spending hundreds of thousands

of dollars putting in a cyber security policy?

Are you gonna be spending hundreds of thousands of

dollars to have a response plan in place?

Are you gonna be spending hundreds of thousands of

dollars to do quarterly assessments of your cyber

security and making sure that you are testing systems

and that you're able to, as a firm,

react to a mock incident?

No, it's not gonna cost hundreds of thousands of dollars

to do that.

So why wait until something happens?

'Cause it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when

nowadays of when your information is going to get hacked.

So it's not gonna cost you hundreds of thousands of

dollars to do that, but that's what you face in fines,

in bringing in consultants to fix the problem

after the fact and to do things mitigating actions like

providing free third party reviews and monitoring of

these people's accounts.

Generally you see, like, a year.

That's expensive when you think it's 100,000 people.

So don't be stupid, don't avoid this very necessary

part of compliance which is having your cyber security

plan in place, having your response plan in place,

testing it, having an IT company come in and actually

go through your systems and stress test it,

check it out, give you more information on what the

problems are, what you can do to make it better.

'Cause I promise you, doing that's gonna cost less than

$75,000.

It's gonna cost you less than $50,000.

Well, maybe depending on your size.

But it certainly won't cost you $75,000 in a fine

and then the hundreds of thousands of dollars you have

to spend on monitoring your cyber security after

a breach like that, providing third party monitoring

for 100,000 people.

You're not gonna face those kind of costs and the

point being go and get it done.

And what does go and get it done mean?

It means give me a call today.

770-462-2118 or email, email me.

Leila, L-E-I-L-A @myrialawyer.com.

We can come in, we work with a bunch of different

IT companies, we can come in, do an assessment,

tell you what the problems are from the IT perspective

and then we can give you our assessment on the compliance

side and tell you on both what you need to do to get your

firm in a good place that you are in compliance with

your cyber security requirements and that you can

avoid as much as possible an incident like R.T. Jones

suffered.

And then if you do, that you are able to respond and

act quickly and mitigate any loss and to

reduce your likelihood of facing a (mumbles) or fine

from the SEC or your state regulator.

So, again, my phone number 770-462-2118.

You can email me directly, Leila, L-E-I-L-A,

@myrialawyer.com to discuss cyber security or any other

of your compliance needs.

Don't wait anymore, now's the time.

SEC and state regulators, they're ramping up examinations

and this is one of the first things they look at.

So don't wait anymore.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed today's video,

let me know if you have any other questions, comments,

let me know.

And stay tuned for next week's episode,

thanks again, have a great day.

What Is Intermittent Fasting And Why It Works - Duration: 4:49.

Thanks for checking in for this lunch break.

Lunch episode where hopefully in three, four minutes or so

that you can learn how to become better emotionally,

physically, spiritually, mentally, all through focusing

on better digestion and health.

And today, if you don't have time for it

you can click in the upper right hand corner

and just click save and listen to it at a future time.

Today I'm gonna be talking about intermittent fasting.

And it's a little bit of fasting, again, when you hear

that most people are thinking water diet

or starving yourself and actually, what I'm gonna be talking

about is really something not even remotely close to that.

What we're gonna be doing is talking about ways

to give your body, especially your digestion, a break.

And I wanna explain it like this, is

that if you in American diet, if you

are eating three square meals a day, and let's say

that you're snacking, you're drinking, if you are doing

that your body's actually digesting food 24 hours a day.

Now, the reason that that's important is

because eating is a voluntary action, when you decide

that you wanna eat you are forcing your body

to do something, so basically most people

are forcing their bodies to eat

and digest food 24 hours a day.

Think how taxing that is on your body.

If you had to do something for 24 hours a day,

it's pretty taxing and again, and you don't realize

the amount of stress that your body is under by doing that.

And couple that with the fact that most people are trying

to lose weight, trying to become healthier,

so you think they figure about the diets

that you wanna eat, or foods that you wanna try,

and how stressful that can be.

So what I'm gonna be talking about, as I said,

intermittent fasting, it's basically giving your body

a break so that it could really improve digestion

in the longer term.

In terms of what your body's doing,

digestively speaking, you're doing one of two things.

You're either fasting or feasting.

Feasting is eating, you are constantly eating,

most people are constantly eating, and during that fasting

time is that your body's not focused on digesting.

Those are really the two things

that digestively in your gut is doing on a daily basis.

And so when you feast, when you are eating, basically

for the next few hours after eating your body's gonna focus

on processing those foods that you just ate.

And in many instances, those foods that you just ate

are gonna be the quick sugars, the refined sugars,

the quick carbohydrates, you know, the things

that the body's gonna use immediately to

use as energy. Okay?

And that's, again, that's the reason

that most people eat, you are hungry,

you have low blood sugar, you feel weak, you have to eat,

so what most people do is you grab

those quick carbohydrates, those quick sugars,

and it powers you through that.

Well, then what about all the other foods that you eat?

The proteins, the fats, all of the other junk,

really, that you put in at one time.

Well again, once the body decides

that it uses what it needs for energy, then it, as I said,

it's going to spend the next couple of hours focusing

on those types of foods and trying to process it.

But most people don't sit down and enjoy foods

for a couple hours, they're doing something else.

You know, you're exercising, you're stressed,

you're at work, and so again, your body's not focusing

on just digesting that foods, it's doing other things.

So those foods that you have there just sit and

really create a whole lot of problems

internally in your gut.

So, when we talk about fasting, what we're doing is just

giving your body a break during set periods of time.

And what I do daily is that I try not

to eat anything, really, before noon most days.

And that's my fasting period during the day.

And the reason that that's important is

because I'm actually trying to teach my body how

to use other things other than quick sugars

to utilize as energy, and that's what intermittent fasting

does, it gives your body a break to try to figure out how

to digest those complex carbohydrates,

that waste that's in your body.

Because all fat is is just waste in your body, it's waste

that your body hasn't really figured out what to do with.

So by fasting, you're actually trying

to trick your body into utilizing those proteins and fats

to use as fuel, so that longer term

that you're not gonna be relying

on those quick sugars, those quick carbohydrates,

and generally have digestive issues longer term.

So by taking a fasting break every day,

or maybe once a week where you're not eating

for 24 hours, maybe juicing or something along those lines,

it gives your body a significant break

that's very important longer term digestively speaking,

of course.

So try intermittent fasting, and again, if you,

whether it is something that I do, if you wake up

and you're immediately hungry during the day,

your body's telling you something,

that it's having a blood sugar issue, but if you can't do

that then certainly eat when you get up, or eat

for breakfast, and then maybe try a period between eight

and four where you don't eat, again,

give your body a little bit of a break.

And I promise you that digestively

that you're gonna be a lot healthier longer term,

you're gonna feel better emotionally, physically,

spiritually, if your body can digest those foods, alright?

So that was it, if you have any questions

about intermittent fasting you can send me a

question, you can comment below, like this, whatever

that you wanna do, but I appreciate you guys taking

the three minutes or so to learn a little bit

about how you can become mentally, spiritually, physically,

and emotionally better digestively speaking.

You guys have a wonderful day, peace out.

10 STUPID Things Your CCO Is Doing- Episode 2 - Duration: 8:55.

- Hey everyone.

It's Leila Shaver here again today

to talk about the 10 things your CCO is doing,

the 10 stupid things your CCO is doing.

So, today's episode we're gonna talk about something

that actually came up in a conversation recently

with one of my clients and that is the issue of custody.

You know, most registered investment advisors say

they don't have custody because all they're doing

is deducting their fees from the account,

or they have certain standard letters

of authorization with their clients.

But what a lot of investment advisors aren't aware of,

surprisingly, is that there were some guidance,

and a no action letter released last year by the SEC,

giving us some more information on custody,

and the custody rule.

So, a lot of advisors inadvertently have custody,

because even though they may have an IMA,

an Investment Management Agreement,

that limits their powers within a client's account,

that client may then have a separate agreement

with the qualified custodian that actually gives the advisor

very broad powers in their account.

So the way the SEC sees it and the way

many state regulators see it,

is that the custodian, the qualified custodian,

doesn't know about this separate contract you have

with your client that limits those powers.

So if you wanted to be a sketchy piece of shit advisor,

and go and take advantage of that, you could,

and the qualified custodian wouldn't know otherwise.

So in that kind of situation,

you actually as the investment advisor have custody,

because the contract your client has

with the qualified custodian gives you broad powers.

So, there are situations where you can avoid

being deemed to have custody,

or if you are deemed to have custody,

there are certain things you can put in place,

so that you don't have to have this surprise annual audits

conducted as part of the requirement of the custody rule.

So, just to give you an idea though

of the kind of penalties you can face

for inadvertently having custody,

we are going to discuss today.

So this is from 2013.

The SEC had sanctioned three SEC registered

investment advisory firms for violating the custody rule

that requires them to meet certain standards

while maintaining custody of clients' securities and funds.

So, the three firms were New York based

Further Lane Asset Management,

Massachusetts based GW and Wade,

and Minneapolis based Knelman Asset Management Group.

So with Further Lane Asset Management,

they had custody of assets of a hedge fund they managed.

They didn't have the annual surprise audit.

They didn't send out quarterly account statements,

and there was some fraud involved

with some of the activities they were conducting.

They ultimately had to pay $347,122 dollars

in disgorgement and prejudgment interest,

and then another $150,000 dollars in penalty,

and then they were suspended from the industry for a year.

So that's pretty, pretty hefty

disciplinary action for that firm.

With GW and Wade, they were also subject the custody rule.

This firm is probably best illustrative

of unknowingly have custody.

So they were in the practice of using

preassigned letters of authorization,

and then transferring client funds

without always obtaining contemporaneous client signatures.

So, there weren't appropriate safeguards in place,

and ultimately what happened is that someone was able

to hack one of these accounts,

and that account lost about $290,000 dollars

from their account so GW and Wade

had to reimburse that particular client,

and then they agreed to pay a $250,000 dollar penalty.

And then for Knelman Asset Management Group,

they had, again, this is one related to a fund.

They had custody of assets of a fund

of a private equity fund.

The financial statements were not audited.

There weren't quarterly statements going out.

And they failed to adopt and implement controls

and procedures, yeah,

to safeguard client assets and monitor them

to make sure there isn't any sort of fraud,

or hacking or anything like that happening.

So, they agreed to

pay $60,000 dollars,

and then their CCO agreed to pay $75,000 dollar penalty,

and was barred from acting as the CCO for three years.

So these are really significant disciplinary actions

that were taken by the SEC.

And there are other things that are fairly easy to do,

and fairly easy to prevent.

I mean if you have custody, go get your surprise audit done.

Send out your quarterly statements (coughs).

But the firm that used letters of authorizations,

there are several different requirements

that you'd have to abide by.

For example, you know, the qualified custodian

would have to have a copy of the letter of authorization.

All the accounts must be listed,

and what qualified custodian hold says accounts.

So if you're making payments to

your clients personal accounts held elsewhere,

or you're being authorized to pay third parties,

all the account numbers have to be there.

They, the qualified custodian, has to be able

to verify the signatures (coughs).

The client has to be able to remove

that authorization at any time,

and there are a few other requirements that go along with it

but those are kind of some basic ones.

You have to have these safeguards in place,

and if you have these safeguards in place,

then you can avoid having to have the surprise audit done.

You would still be deemed to have custody,

but you could avoid the surprise audit requirement.

If it's a first letter or a first party

letter of authorization, that's not custody at all,

but again there are still requirements you have to abide by

to get that exemption from that being deemed being custody.

Otherwise, you could be facing, you know,

a suspension of one year.

Suspension of three years from acting as CCO.

The smallest penalty in this case was $60,000 dollars.

The largest being $250,000 dollars.

And those are just the penalties for the firms

that had you know hacking of client accounts or some fraud.

There was also disgorgement and interest associated

with what they had to pay out as well.

So, don't be stupid.

(laughs)

Give us a call.

Let us review your systems.

We actually talked to a client this week.

We're doing a mock SEC exam for them.

Let us come in and do a risk assessment, see where you are.

Avoid paying $250,000 dollars in penalty,

and pay a fraction of that to come in,

and for us to come in and do an examination.

Don't be stupid.

So, if you're ready to not be stupid,

and really take control of your business,

and safeguard all the things that you've worked hard

to create for yourself, then give us a call.

Our number is 770-462-2118.

Or email me, Leila, leila@myrialawyer.com.

So the stupid thing that your CCO is doing today

is not keeping up on top of the custody rule,

and whether or not you guys are deemed to have custody,

even though you don't mean to have custody.

So let's look into that issue and avoid it,

because it's a big, big, big, big topic,

and a big red flag for regulators,

and it's something they are actively looking at,

'cause it's easy to spot.

So give us a call or email me today.

I look forward to helping you safeguard your business,

and stop the stupid shit you're doing in your business.

Call us today, bye.

Gun Control Is Finally Happening In America - Duration: 7:02.

Hows it going Youtube.

Welcome to LandonProduction I am landon Dowlatsingh and this is where I talk about the news or

anything else trending in the world.

I have a ton of stories to talk about today so lets get right into it.

First up, finally we are heading into the right direction with Gun Control the state

of Oregon have just expanded on the existing gun laws.

A person who has a history of domestic violence or has a talking conviction is banned from

buying guns.

Gun laws are starting to get more strick now, it doesn't seem like guns are going to be

eliminated so I guess the second best thing for now is to make it harder to own guns.

I personally like the idea of gun control.

Tell me your thoughts about gun control in the comment section.

I don't see why there is a reason to have automatic weapons.

If you must have a gun why not just a hand gun.

Whats the point of being able to spit fire hundreds of bullets at once.

Walmart has also just announced they will no longer sell guns and ammunition to anyone

under the age of 21 yrs old.

The age use to be 18 yrs old.

This is a huge step of trying to eliminated highschool students being able to purchase

guns that leads to mass school shootings.

Walmart has also banned the AR-15 rifle that is used for hunting.

This is a lightweight semi-automatic rifle.

This is what walmart had to say.

In light of recent events, we've taken an opportunity to review our policy on firearm

sales.

Going forward we are rasiing the age restriction for purchase of firearms and ammunition to

21 yrs of age.

We will update our processes as quickly as possible to implement this change.

Dicks sports good is also on board with raising the age to 21 yrs old.

They tweeted this.

We ate fiks sporting goods are deeply disturbed and saddened by the tragic events in parkland.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the victims and their loved ones.

Here is something I thought I would never talk about.

North Korea has stated that they will get rid of their nuclear weapons if they can resolve

the threats with other countries.

They said they would not need to keep nukes if military threats against the country were

resolved.

This promise was announced by South Korean officials after a visit to the North.

The meeting against South and North Korea well well to try and defuse the American and

north Korea situation.

After the dinner meeting Kim Jon-un also promised to never use any kind of weapons against South

Korea.

North Korea also said they are open to talks with the US on de-nuclearisation.

I guess Kim Jong-Un is just in a good mood these days.

President Donald Trump took it to twitter to say this.

Possible progress being made in talks with north korea.

For the first time in many years.

A serious effect is being made by all parties concerned.

The world is watching and waiting may be false hope but the us is ready to go hard in either

direction.

I think South and North korea should have more dinners together because who know what

else they can accomplish, maybe world peace who knows.

Also in the news is 28 yr old Sam Ballard who at the age of 19 yrs old became a paraplegic

after he swallowed a slug as a dare.

Is this real life right now, this is the saddest thing ever.

This was a slug found in a garden but he got infected with a lungworm.

This type of worm is commonly found in rats but snails and slugs can be infected by this

parasite when they eat rodent droppings.

Sam Ballard was rushed to the hospital after feeling sick and he lapsed into a coma for

420 days.

after 3 yrs after being ill he was finally released from the hospital in a wheelchair.

Right now he needs a feeding tube, he suffers from seizures and struggles to control his

body temperature.

A lot of the medications and equipment Sam ballard needed to just stay alive became very

expensive but in 2016 the national disability insurance granted him a $492,000 grant.

but last year the grant was slashed to just $135,000 which now puts the family in heavy

debt.

Sam needs 24-care and now owes a nursing service of $42,000.

Really messed up and sad.

We all know who Larry Nassar is by now right, well just quickly he was the American doctor

to Olympic atheltes.

He was convicted of sex abuse in which he molested at least 250 girls and young women.

Hes in prison currently for 40-175 yrs.

Well just in the news was the first male victim of Larry Nassar.

18 yr old Jacob Moore finally broke his silence and came out and said he was a victim as well.

Jacob said Larry took off his pants in front of a minor female and stuck acupuncture needles

in and around his genitals.

Larry told him that this procedure would treat his shoulder injury which makes no sense but

Jacob was young at the time and he trusted in this doctor.

Jacob in a statement said I hope he rots in hell.

I have a quick update with the Las Vegas massacre that took place in October of last year.

851 people were injuried and 59 people including the perpetrator was killed.

Well 31.4 million dollar was raised for the victims and anyone else effected.

Well that money has finally started to be distributed.

All the money in the world wont fix what happened during that night but it least the money can

help with any medical costs that was accumulated due to this mass shooter.

Also I have an update with 15 yr old Anthony Borges.

This kid was a hero during the valentines day shooting massacure that took place at

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High.

He used his body as a shield to protect as many other students as possible.

He was shot 5 times protecting 20 other students and he survived.

He is currently at the hospital trying to recover its going to be a uphill battle but

hes fighting.

Well Anthony becomes the first person to start a lawsuit against the principal and officers

at the school.

In a 2 page notice filed said that the school district and sheriffs office could have done

more to prevent the shooting.

I will follow up with this story and find out what happens.

Some more news Jeff Bezos the founded of Amazon has just topped forbes list of the worlds

richest billionaires he has a fortune of 112 billion.

Bill gates has held the title of the richest man for 18 of the past 23 yrs.

I wonder if Bill gates will make more investments or donate less or something to try and re-gain

his title.

Jeff becomes the first ever person to be on Forbes list as the richest person with 12

figures.

Not even bills gates was on the list with over 100 billion dollars.

I always question people with this much money like how did you allow yourself to have 100

billion dollars when there are so many people dying because they don't have resources

or the money they need to survive.

Jeff gained over 39 billion dollars in just one year which is another record.

This is #MyFeminism - Duration: 1:34.

International Women's Day is a time to celebrate women's contributions

here in Canada and around the world.

In celebration of this important day, we are asking everyone:

What does feminism mean to you?

What does feminism mean to you?

Feminism is a call to action for everyone who believes in gender equality.

#MyFeminism is inclusive - it's about equality for all women

and people of all genders.

#MyFeminism is intersectional - it's about empowering women and girls,

and people of all genders, no matter the complexity of their experiences,

to speak up and make their voices heard.

It's as diverse as Canada.

But most of all, #MyFeminism is about possibility -

because when we work together, when we truly value what we each bring to our communities,

there is no limit to what we can achieve.

It's your turn!

Share your stories using the hashtag #MyFeminism

and tell us what feminism means to you.
