FFA 101 - Free for All CoD WW2 Guide to Control the Map - Duration: 12:32.
hello everybody in today's video you're gonna see something you've probably
never ever seen before in Free for All and that is a live feed of the map and where
everyone is located on the mini-map while I'm actually playing the match so
I'm actually playing with bots because I want to demonstrate how to play preper
all I know I get this question asked a few different times and I want to
demonstrate how you play free-for-all without getting shot in the back
obviously this with the bots so they're not highly skilled but the concept is
still gonna be there on each and every map there's gonna be about one two two
two even three different places where you can position and just kind of rotate
back and forth and maintain the spawn and make sure that you know where people
are coming from so you don't get shot in the back so what you're looking at is a
live feed of every location of everybody on the map in the top left corner so you
can see right now I'm spawning my bridge which is all the way on the right of
that map and you're gonna see how I rotate and move and navigate through the
map this video will include three different maps the first one here is
gonna be Arden forest the second one will be Aachen and the third map I will
be covering is USS Texas on some of them I do switch to a different location
because typically when you are playing free-for-all after you killed about 10
15 different people and doing this specific method they're gonna be pissed
off and they're gonna be head honey they're gonna be trying to get those
revenge kills so by rotating to the next location you're gonna put yourself in an
advantageous position where you can continue to control the spawns and where
people are located so as you can see for this specific rotation I keep focusing
on going back to bridge spawn and then heading back to the cabin and you can
see how far it I need to be from them to actually spawn you can see calm rotating
back and forth so I go back around over here and then no one's near me and then
they spawn back over by bridge so I just rotate back and try and get them off a
spawn and that's what a lot of times at the lower skill players they're not
aware of that they just run around the map and they treat it like team
deathmatch or kill confirm or another mode and what
ends up happening is people will spawn immediately behind you because there's a
vacant spawn there so you can see right now there's really only about three or
four people on the map at one time on one side and then you can see that on
the opposite side there's kind of a general
similarity going on on that side so I just continue to push this method back
and forth and you can see that pretty much everyone's over by the bunker or
over by the broken pillar and then some guys just spawn bridge again so I go
ahead and rotate back and then odds are as I come around this corner there's
gonna be someone there and boom as long as you have it in your head that
someone's gonna be there you're prepared and ready to get that kill a lot of
times you can pregame and you get the kill before they're even ready to come
out because they're just printing out of spawn a lot of times people want to
spring out a spawn it a little bit more careless they're a little bit more
reckless with how they approach these done fights so what you're gonna want to
do make sure you're in position to win them because you're gonna be able to
push get them off guard and then you get the easy kill before they even draw
their weapon but this is your first time to the channel I do a lot of different
in-game breakdowns give you tips and tricks and then also provide updates for
content that comes to Call of Duty Pacific Lee Call of Duty World War two
at the moment but as you can see if you're interested in this type of
content if you like different breakdowns if you'd like to learn different things
to actually improve your gameplay improve your KD score per minute all
those things to surprise the channel for you I do is several different spawn
guides I do tips and tricks for accuracy every map how to break down how to play
how to play every different mode so if those are the types of things you think
you need help with this is definitely like I said the channel for you so right
here I pretty much stayed in this corner didn't really rotate to the other side
and then I just kind of held down the bridge and as you can see if you just
have the the recon plane you're gonna be able to rotate back and forth and carry
these pretty good streaks especially got ordnance on will cycle through every
three or four kills because that that of extra kill points you get from actually
getting assist recon assist from actually having a recon plane up in the
air well I'll be cycled through so about every three to four kills you're gonna
be giving that recon so that was the first match now we're gonna jump into
Aachen and you can see on Aachen very similar I stay kind of more on this
right side I'm using the FG 42 and once I get a certain Street going and I go
ahead and rotate to the other side because on this map there are two
centralized locations you really want to be in and one is where I'm rotating back
and forth here because people will come out of this left side they'll come out
right in a spot right in front of me and they'll just run right out and a lot of
times like I said you get them off bar and then they spawn in that forward
corner side where you can see they're coming from so there's two right in
front of me I kind of rotate left look at pick this guy up over here I don't
know what the heck he was firing that another one's coming around and then as
I turn around someone already spawned back over here in this corner so I kind
of got a rotate back and forth and as I do that you'll see the spawns just
continue to spawn in that area so on this side of the map someone's spawning
and on the other side there's a handful of people spawning but really there's
only about two three four people on one side of the map out of the eight so half
the people will be on one side of the map and the other half will be on the
other so a lot of times the middle is really no-man's land there's no one
there it's fully available and you're able to cross over the middle without
much interruption because people really shouldn't be in the middle so you can
see right here I continued this path and just continued to kind of rotate back
and forth getting easy kills nothing special you can see how I walk and then
somebody comes out and spawn and there's another one right there he's peeking
then I go ahead and try and get them out kind of ran out of ammo so I gotta do is
kill them off with a pistol but you can see the rotation you can see kind of how
I'm positioning myself I know there's another guy coming around over here try
to finish him off with the pistol as well and then just continue this
rotation and at this point I know I'm about half the kills so I start
considering going ahead and rotate the other side once I get my reload and you
can see no one's on this side one guy spawned right there now go ahead and
wait for him to pop out another one popped out in this corner even though I
was like right there they spawn that close so something just got to be aware
of and prepared for again if you're enjoying the video so far go ahead and
remember to click that like button go ahead and subscribe if you haven't
already I know you're enjoying the video so far to stuck around for the second
half of this video and then if you're joining going to make sure you have
those notifications on so you don't miss out on any future videos because
YouTube's pretty bad about sending out notifications unless you actually have
that notifications turned on you help me out with that that'd be awesome so you
don't miss out on my new videos that pop up so right now crossing over middle I'm
heading over to my favorite spot on this map regardless of what mode I'm playing
I'm pretty much loved this corner section as long as you can get into the
library a lot of times you're gonna have that extra advantage to get up into this
corner and into the window and from this window you're gonna see that the spawns
are pretty locked again as well and I don't have to do much work
but the overall goal is to get up into this window because it gives you a great
oversight great vantage point into what's going on out here
so pretty much I could see a couple different people right there I just kind
of repositioned get a different angle pop this guy off I was lining up some
good shots with pfg some were a little bit not so great but for the most part F
G's good right here Lewis is good right here if you want to go ahead and hit
those long-range shots so right here they're gonna keep coming out of that
corner or through the library so that's pretty much how you kind of want to
rotate corner this this area by the pillars and then go ahead and see him in
that corner and then they'll go ahead and pop out library you can just
continue to kind of rotate back and forth back and forth and people will
again start to head high and they'll start and go for those revenge kills so
it's definitely some you got to be wary up as you can see right here I'm able to
pick these guys off pretty pretty much with ease obviously like I said recruit
BOTS the whole point of this just to show the rotation and that you can see
live where the people are spawning and they continue to spawn depending on your
location so a lot of times like I said you want to lock down certain areas
every map has these areas regardless if it's Gustav cannon if it's Saint Marie
du Mont or like you're seeing here Aachen art and forest and USS Texas so
you're gonna want to make sure you rotate control the map and then just
pretty much you'll have those UAVs up almost the entire time long as you don't
die off your streaks so pretty much right here again just rotating that's
the end of that match so let's go ahead and go to USS Texas same thing nothing
new what you want to do is for this map either end of the ship is gonna be the
power position for you so you're gonna want to rotate to those power positions
and then control the map from those areas so as I push to this corner you're
gonna kind of realize where the spawns are I'm over here by myself and they see
someone spawn right next to me and then I can hear them coming through right
here so I'll go ahead and take him out and then there's another person that
spawned out you can see how spawn big the spawns are literally they're
spawning right on me but what I have is I don't push too far out because I want
my back to this spawn right here where where I'm at and then I can make
sure as I rotate back and forth that just continue people continue to rush
out and again get easy kills I'm already prepared for them I know they're gonna
spawn in a couple set locations and you can see kind of where they're at that
guy spawned right there and as I come around easy kill there's another one
and he pops out right here I go ahead and take him out and then I got to go
ahead and call in my recon plane so as I come through right here I know that
there's general location you can see the guy just popped up right in front of me
so I got to go ahead and kind of position see which way he's going he
comes out easy kill so again as I rotate back and forth you can see this general
kind of rule of thumb of how far I push so that I can make sure that people are
spawning in one location in one location only and that is either to my right or
one location to my left so pretty much I just continue to rotate back and forth
so no one sneaks up behind me a lot of times if you use expeditionary with
saboteur you can get those double bouncing Betties and then you can go
ahead and lock down some of those areas so that you don't get rushed quite as
quick so right here it's obviously a bot so I'm not too worried but as I go back
and forth you eventually want to pick up a gun because you're gonna run out of
ammo as long as you keep these streets going so at this point I'm go ahead and
start moving over to the other side and once I'm getting to the halfway point
I'm gonna start pushing to the opposite of the map without fear I know in this
specific case there are people's money bid and ours people's funding on the
other side but as I push all the way to the other side I know I have control of
the map because these are obviously BOTS so you typically wouldn't cross the map
I'm just doing this more for demonstration purposes because you want
to make sure you lock down that area because the second I push this way
there's gonna be people that are spawn behind me and I have a greater chance of
actually getting shot in the back which as you know getting shot in the back
you're probably going to lose that gunfight unless you have your since it's
gonna be so high and the guy just has a bad shot odds are they're gonna melt you
before you have a chance to move draw your gun and engage in that gunfight so
right here take down another guy and in our position again you can kind of see
the rotation that I'm making now I'm on the right side of the ship if you're
looking at the mini-map and then what happens is that kind of just rotating
back and forth I know people are gonna be popping up out of that side room
behind me or up here on this little platform and as I rotate back and forth
they'll just continue to pop out and they'll continue to engage me because
they know where I'm at today I'm shooting people so they're gonna follow
the gunfire but as you play again huh head hunting will happen these are the
two sides that you want to focus on and just control these the longer you're in
the middle the odds are you going to get pinched and shot from both sides so
here I'm just kind of controlling the map rotating back and forth and just
kind of controlling everything so I push up right here I see a guy coming up on
the right side you know he's coming up the ladder and take him out so I go
ahead and continue I only got about six kills left so you can see right here I
push up on this balcony kind of just looking I know someone should pop up on
the left of the right called in my UAV I seen a guy just pop up in this corner so
there go ahead and take him out and then it looks like someone just spawned right
behind me so you gotta be aware of that if you pushed too far forward you can
see that accident that just happened this guy just snuck up came around now
we're playing ring-around-the-rosy it looks like another guy just launched up
almost took me out with that little Molotov and that's pretty much it I'm
gonna go ahead and finish out the video get a few more kills if you did enjoy it

Tips for Recognizing and Avoiding Scams - Duration: 2:32.
Hi, I'm Houqi Li, and I am a Student Assistant here at International Student Services.
I'm here today with Tetyana Schneider to learn more about scams and how to avoid them.
Tetyana, what are some common types of scams?
Unfortunately, there are different and a lot of different types of scams for example, they
can be calls from "police," claiming that you owe them some money.
They can be calls from representatives of the FBI, Internal Revenue Services...
They can all claim that you owe them money.
They can all say that you need to pay the money or face consequences.
Sometimes, international students and immigrants are targeted and threatened with arrest and
unfortunately, deportation.
You can get these scams through emails for example, "You have unclaimed money" and they
ask you to click here so that you can transfer your account... somewhere, or any other types
that we even sometimes do not even know.
So, what are some ways international students can avoid scams?
Sure.
First of all, international students should always be careful to avoid scams, but especially
right now, because it is tax season.
Please know that government agencies will never contact you via email or phone.
Be careful of phone calls or emails that look suspicious. If you do get a call from someone
claiming to be from the Police, FBI, or IRS, please try not to engage with them and just
hang up.
Never give someone your bank account information, credit card, personal information.
And whether it is over the phone or the email.
If you do get receive an email that you think that it is a scam, please delete the email
and try to block that sender.
If you are not sure, we always ask please come to the ISS office and then inquire with
us if it is a legit communication or not.
And, if you do feel unsafe or if you do feel threatened, do not hesitate to call 911.
You don't need to report scams unless you have lost money and if that does happen, then
we encourage students to contact UW-Madison Police Department.
You mentioned taxes.
Where can international students find resources about how to file taxes?
Right, so the deadline to report federal and state taxes is coming up.
It's April 17, 2018 and all international students must file taxes, whether they earned
income or not.
For more information, including videos, about how to file taxes.
We encourage students to visit our website under "Employment."
iss.wisc.edu.
Thank you very much.
You're welcome!

Sup! Fun with Supplements for ME/CFS - Duration: 13:13.
Sup!
Sup!
Sup!
Hey guys, today we're gonna meet my friends.
I'm gonna lower the screen so you can meet them.
Here they are!
I have so many!
I'm so popular!
In this video, I'm gonna be introducing you guys to some of the supplements I take.
Unless I specify otherwise, these are all the brands and doses that my doctor recommends
and I'm gonna be putting the links to them in the description.
You should start with the lowest possible dose to make sure you don't have a bad reaction
to anything.
My doctor always say, "Start low, go slow!"
First, quick disclaimer.
So, this shouldn't come as a shock to anyone, but...
I'm not a doctor!
So just keep that in mind when you're taking my advice.
Ok!
The first guy up is called Inosine.
Inosine!
This is an immunomodulator, which is pretty helpful considering we have an autoimmune.
This guy inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines
Cytokines?
I don't know how to pronounce them, and the particular cytokines I definitely can't remember or
pronounce.
I do know that, when I don't take it, I really, really notice the difference.
This particular company, which again, this is the brand my doctor recommended, really
are terrible about shipping things on time.
I always have to wait for it.
One time I was without it for a month, and I was, not human.
I was dead.
This is precious, precious stuff.
My precious...
It is about $15 for 60 capsules.
You start off on one capsule a day, and then you move up to two capsules a day.
So 60 capsules eventually is one month's worth. So this costs $15 a month.
Okay, next!
It has been so long, but I still cannot pronounce this.
Here you go.
Maybe you can pronounce this?
Phosphatidyl Serine
Serin? Serine?
Whatever.
This guys is for brain fog, so he helps with concentration, memory, focus.
But obviously not my ability to pronounce letters.
Initially, this will last you for 3 months.
And it is about $30 for 90, so it's gonna initially cost you about $10 a month, initially.
And then it will be twice that because you're gonna be taking it twice a day.
Ok, next!
Ok, this guy is Acetyl-L-Carnitine.
Again, I don't know if I'm pronouncing it anywhere near correctly.
It's a really common CFS supplement because it supposedly helps with mitochondrial function, which we *think*
is either inhibited or defective in CFS.
To be honest, I don't feel a big difference when I skip this, but my doctor wants me to
take it, so I'm gonna be a good patient.
This guy comes with 200 capsules and you take 2 of them a day.
So each one is 500 mg, so you take 1,000mg a day.
Ok, next!
Ok, the next one is one of my favorites.
It's magnesium!
This magnesium is called magnesium orotate
I've tried a lot of different kinds of magnesiums, but again, this is the one that my doctor recommended.
You take a quarter of a teaspoon
It looks like, basically it looks like powder
and it tastes like chalk, so it tastes kinda gross.
And it doesn't really blend well with the water.
It has really awesome effects, but it's really not a great experience drinking it.
I do have a tip for how to make the experience a little bit better
And that's mixing it with D-Ribose, which tastes just like sugar.
I'll talk about D-Ribose later.
Magnesium helps with so many things.
It helps with muscle pain; with those tremors and spasms and
seizure-like activity that we love so much;
and this might be placebo, but I really think it helps my mood, and just general sense of
well-being.
So I really, really love magnesium, it's one of my best friends,
but I am not good about taking it, because it tastes so bad.
Okay.
Next!
I've never come across this in my own research, but when I finally found medical help,
one of the first things my doctor did is she tested me for mutations on a gene called MTHFR.
And she nailed it!
Because I am indeed a mutant.
Mutations to this gene can cause a whole laundry list of crappy things, but one of those things
is the inability to convert folic acid into folate.
THIS IS A LOT OF SCIENCE.
I am NOT going to confuse you with all the science, but basically,
you need your damn folate.
You need to take your folate in a form that's already methylated for you.
But guess what!
Methylated vitamins are not cheap.
Originally my doctor prescribed methylfolate, and it cost a bazillion dollars, and
my insurance wouldn't cover it.
And I don't know if you know this, but…
(whispers) I don't have a bazillion dollars (whispers)
Instead, I found one online, and it was cheaper (still not cheap) and she approved.
So this is the kind that I take
It's Metabolic Maintenance
And it is 90 capsules at 10mg each.
And this thing runs around $70 for 90 capsules, which is still a lot.
It's not a bazillion, but it's still a lot.
But wait, there's more!
You can't methylate folic acid, and you also can't methylate B-12.
For about 3 months, I was injecting myself with B12 (I'm on break right
now because stabbing yourself in the thigh twice a week is not as fun as it sounds!)
You have to order your methylated B12 injections from a special pharmacy and they basically send you a needle that's already full of methylated B12.
You stab yourself, or have
somebody who really doesn't like you stab you,
or have your best friend stab you
just find somebody who really likes to stab.
Methylated vitamins are expensive
and painful, so I definitely think that if you want to go that route, you should get yourself tested
for the mutation to the MTHFR gene,
because you might not need them
you lucky independently-methylating bastards.
If you do have a mutation to this gene, you can at least be happy that it has such a dirty name...
You can ask that everyone you know call you a "badass motherf***er."
That's it for the doctor recommended supplements, but I do take a few more on my own.
So the following are ones that I take that I found. Not doctor recommended. Just my preferences.
This one is called Curcubrain.
It is curcumin.
Which is basically turmeric.
Tumeric? Tur...?
You know what?
I cannot pronounce that, either.
I cannot pronounce things.
Turmeric, or however you say it, has anti-inflammatory properties.
I also drink turmeric tea when the muscle pain gets on my nerves.
This particular brand crosses the blood-brain barrier.
So it helps with body inflammation and also brain inflammation.
It's nothing major, it's not as strong as a prescription anti-inflammatory.
This is for when the pain is not tha bad, but it's just annoying.
Okay.
The next one is...
D-Ribose.
Ok, this is D-Ribose, or D-Raibose
If you think I can pronounce things, you should know better by now!
D-Ribose is a type of sugar, and it tastes just like sugar.
And you can mix it with the magnesium orotate to improve the taste
So this concoction tastes better than just this by itself.
This thing helped the pain so much omgggg I want to marry it.
Basically, for this guy, I followed the Teitelbaum protocol.
Dr. Teitelbaum did a study where he tested groups of CFS patients and groups of Fibromyalgia patients.
And gave them D-Ribose, D-Raibose, whatever the f***
And he found that there was improvement for both, but *a lot* of improvement for the fibro patients.
So it really, really helps with pain.
This trial was placebo-controlled, and double-blind...
...unlike some trials we know.
It looks like this. It's a powder, it looks just like sugar.
One scoop is 5 grams.
You take one scoop and you mix it with water.
I did 15 grams for 3 weeks, and then I did 10 grams for another 3 weeks.
So I was on it for 6 weeks.
After I finished the first 3 weeks, the pain became a lot less severe and a lot less constant.
And it's never been as constantly bad as it was before I went on the D-Ribose protocol.
This is kind of a miracle sugar.
After 6 weeks, I found that the benefits remained the same, they didn't lessen, but they didn't
increase, so after a while I just stopped taking it.
It kind of ran its course, did its magic.
The effects were long lasting. I'm still feeling this lower level of pain and it's a lot less constant.
And it's been like, 6 months.
So in my case, it seems to have had a very long lasting effect.
I don't have a favorite brand of R-Ribose, so I'm going to put a number of links and you guys should choose whichever
one is cheapest that day.
One of the last ones is
this one!
This is my most huggable friend, because he's so big!
This is called the Energy Revitalization System.
It is a big bottle of powder. Which looks like that.
And it comes with a scoop.
You mix this powder with water and you drink it once a day.
And that lasts me about a month. A little over a month.
It's got...
It's got fiber, protein, vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, E, K, B1, B2, B6, B12, magnesium, zinc...
and it also has whey protein, malic acid, and a whooole bunch of stuff that I can't pronounce.
It also has amino acids...
So it's got a whole list of aminos, which is nice.
Teitelbaum claims that one cup of this powder a day is the equivalent of 50 pills.
And I can believe that because it's so much stuff...
I don't know if you can see any of that.
The good part is that it saves you a lot of money and pill swallowing.
The bad part is that it contains milk and soy, so if you're allergic to either of
those, this is not a great supplement for you.
And I'm not sure why he included those because so many of us are super, super sensitive.
Ok, the last supplement today is melatonin
for sleeeeeep.
I've had insomnia my whole life, CFS insomnia is nothing new. But the thing about CFS insomnia is that
the effects of it are much more harmful because
Obviously, I crash, and the pain increases, and I get tremors,
and the whole fun thing.
It's just more harmful when you're sick.
I do take prescription sleep aids, but I find that melatonin works better.
And this guy is 3 mg, but they come in 3, 5, you can even get it up to 10.
I don't have a favorite brand. I just find that this guy really works for me.

Meet Moses - A MadLabber for 10 Years! - Duration: 5:52.
Alright folks were here with Moses. I don't know how many people actually know him as Aaron. How long have you been at MadLab for? Almost 10
years, it will be 10 years in November. I know I don't know what I get for that but I'm
pretty excited I think I got my name higher up on the wall or something? Ah probably just a high five! oh boo
yeah ten years ago I was really into competitive ultimate that was sort of
the start of my career ultimate career anyways and I was kind of looking to do
supplemental training in the offseason get stronger get fitter get faster kind
of thing and so I tried a number of other sort of routines and personal
trainers I think I had had about three in the in the previous two years that
have been working with and somebody suggested CrossFit it was CrossFit back
at the time and so I started that with a group of about ten of us actually on my
team and we made better like regimented training program for
November to May when the season started and then we sort of slowed down in the
season but continued from there. So with your competitive Ultimate career what did you get from
this other training? How did that improve your frisbee game?
It didn't improve specific ultimate skills but improve my field
athleticness big-time. I know I was trying out for one of the best teams
in Vancouver at the time and that helped me make that team. It took about two
years of MadLab before I made that team but that
definitely got me athletic I definitely felt the difference when I went into
tryouts that second season of feeling like really athletic, really springy and
good good cardio and endurance at the time. One of the biggest things that
I am inspired by you
Is you bring your three daughters they don't just come and sit
on the couch but you get them on the rower or running around doing things
how do you think you and therefore MadLab is having an effect on them if it
is and sort of how do you how do you try to incorporate that into their lives?
Well first I want to say thanks to you and to all the coaches for embracing that
you know you guys have really done a great job of embracing that and so I
think it's had a big impact on them. They, I think unlike some other kids who here my
kids actually ask every single time if they can come and I usually try to
two of them to come and sometimes they end up fighting and
whining about it but they really enjoy coming and um you know they like
participating in the little warm-up of the the stretching exercises that's
that's something that they actually really enjoy doing and we do the food
time and then they then they go play for a little while but the end of class I've
got them on like a pull-up routine so they're all all three girls my youngest
is three for those who don't know are working on their pull-ups and so they
I help him a little bit still and pushing them up there but they're
working and pull-ups and they row and you know I think fitness for life is
one of your models and and if I can start it at age three or age five or
seven, you know the age of my girls I think that's gonna set them up for
success in fitness. So 10 years why are you still here? You know I still love the socialness of
this that's it that's a huge part. I'm a routine based person so you know right
now my routine kind of allows for only about two days a week to be in here at
best and so for me it's it's actually just easy to come in here workout with a
bunch of people that I know as you obviously know I'm a social person so
these days I can often spend ten or fifteen minutes of a class just talking
about people and catching up because there's so many people here that I that
I love chatting with. So that that's sort of on a day to day basis and then the
every year you know I look forward to that MadLab
League that's one of my favorite things that I enjoy doing every year I still
haven't got a name not yet it's not yet semi-finalists in about three years four
years in a row mmm but next year it's gonna be up there! this year! this year!
yeah so that kind of brings me like I know one of my favorite memories is the
year that we should have won and we didn't what is one of your favorite
memories. Oh definitely definitely those those MadLab events, certainly the year
you and myself and Meagan and Wolf were on a team together that was a blast
but I remember actually the year after was the even a little bit more memorable
for me and when I had Morenda and Natalie and Marlon on my team and it was
like just a big big crowd in here and there's a lot of energy for something we
came up a little bit short but I just love that energy I am someone who plays off
other people's energy so that was a great great experience for me. I had to
get some motivation help me work harder you know I fueled by alcohol sometimes
Join the program yeah for sure
you definitely gonna help with your your athleticness and fitness and that makes
big difference especially if you want to take a competitive route to it everybody
who's who's playing competitive is is doing offseason training of some sort
and that's you know table stakes and this is a good environment to
participate in. Any last words? I Love this Place

Restaurants Lean on Breadcrumb POS Support Team for Fast Results - Duration: 1:36.
The biggest difference I've seen with Upserve taking over Breadcrumb, I would say they've
got their customer service back to what it needed to be.
I've seen leaps and bounds, and it was definitely something whereas, if something does happen,
you want someone on the other end of the phone.
You don't have half an hour, 20 minutes to wait, and now it's back to much more
responsive assistance.
As far as support from Upserve we're very happy with where it is right now.
Yet just yesterday we had some issues with our printers.
The manager Amber, called up Upserve and got it resolved right away, no problems.
I was expecting to hear groaning and moaning for a while, but there was nothing.
Resolved quickly, everything good.
We had to deal with three or four different technology providers.
And if there was an issue with the transaction, we'd have to deal with possibly all four to
get the problem corrected.
And that was just a nightmare.
And there was a lot of times where we had different issues happen and transactions were
missing or lost in the process.
And of course, nobody wanted to accept responsibility for that.
Now with the integration with Upserve and Breadcrumb, everything's in one place.
If there's an issue, it's one phone call, which, quite frankly, almost never happens.
Usually it's just right in the app and you can see exactly what happened with the transaction,
fix it, and you're done.
You don't have to get on the phone, you don't have to go on a website, you don't have to
call anyone.
You can just fix it yourself in seconds, which is just amazing.
It's made my life a lot better.

Landsat in Action - Advocating for Landsat with Kass Green - Duration: 3:46.
I'm Kass Green and I'm president of Kass Green
and Associates and I do consulting on remote sensing
policy and also mapping projects.
Usually we've been classifying Landsat imagery just pixel
by pixel. Which was fine at the moderate resolution
of Landsat imagery. When you start getting the high
resolution imagery, there's lots of noise. So it's really
wonderful to work with a 6 inch pixel, when I've
got airborne imagery, but then I've got pixels of
the bright side of the trees and pixels of the dark side
of the trees and pixels in between the trees.
So we moved to object oriented classification and
what that means is you have an algorithm that draws
circles around the pixels or polygons around the pixels
and then you classify that polygon instead of the
individual pixels. You know the bad side of that is the
high resolution imagery is always spectrally limited.
It doesn't have the mid infrared it doesn't have
the thermal, it's also really expensive so you don't
get multi temporal imagery. Landsat, it's every 16 days
So what we do now is we take the objects and we
intersect them with the Landsat data. So we've got the high
resolution spectral response, then we get the Landsat
spectral response, and then we put multi temporal
Landsat data in there. So bringing those together
is really powerful. I've been making high resolution
maps for probably over 10 years now. Every single
project, when you look at the important variables,
Landsat's still one of the top 10 variables.
EROS is doing an incredible job with the archive.
To see what it was like in the beginning and how it
has changed now, it's so much bigger for one,
They got those old MSS tapes, got all the archives
in all the different countries, so we have a worldwide
archive. I mean, EROS' archive not just Landsat, EROS'
archive with all the different imagery is really impressive
and it's the only place in the world that you can get those
kind of data, because that's where it all lives.
As part of the Landsat advisory group we did a study where
we looked at what would be the cost of losing
Landsat data and we looked at 16 different programs
and I think we came up with a figure of $1.8 billion
dollars a year if Landsat wasn't there, so these were
mostly government programs that are doing their work and
we asked them if you didn't have Landsat how much would
it cost you every year to do what you're doing.
And some groups came back and said we couldn't do what
we're doing. It's more valuable now because it's free and open.
So organizations can rely on it. They can rely on it being
there. I think Landsat's healthier now as a program
than it's ever been and that is because it's so widely used.
I've been involved in promoting Landsat since
the early 1990s and I was involved in the 1992 act
that brought Landsat back to the government. Landsat
made my career, so I feel like I owe a lot back to
Landsat. So I speak about it every chance I can.
From lobbying to giving interviews, anything I can
do to promote Landsat, because I think it's a
critical earth resource.
It's that 44 years of continuity, all those pictures
of the earth and the high quality, the high calibrated
imagery across the whole spectrum. We just don't have
anything else like that. It's the record of what we're doing
to the world, of natural hazards, natural disasters, we keep
We keep making more people, we're not making any more
land. That means that resources are more and more valuable.
And Landsat helps us both inventory these resources
and monitor change over time. And as those resources continue
to get more and more valuable, we desperately need a
Landsat type system that monitors our resources.
