Waching daily Mar 26 2018

So a year ago

I worked in a startup advertising agency as a Junior Graphic Designer

In the beginning, I thought it was a cool place.

We didn't have a proper office...

It was a bar, apparently.

Yes...

It was... a bar...

Here's the thing tho

I didn't have to come to the office to work every day.

I worked from home

Or, remotely in this case.

That was what hooked me.

I work from ten o'clock to seven.

Standard working times.

My employers were pretty chill people.

They joke around a looot, and

they were pretty friendly...

So there's my boss.

The CEO

"Agressive"

My manager.

"Passive"

(and together they become PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE)

The 'supposedly' Creative Director

UNFRIENDLY SENPAI

I say 'supposedly' because

We've... never worked on a project together...

Never.

Aaand a senior graphic designer!

Cat Senpai (because she owns a lot of 🐱s)

I thought I struck gold.

y'know. My first job and

I have such chill employers

What could go wrong? 🤔🤔🤔

what could go wrong indeed...

First of all!

Job Briefs

we don't have them...

We don't have job briefs

The term 'job brief' does not exist in my company's dictionary.

They... just don't do job briefs 🤷

You wanna know how the project manager passes down work to you?

They do it via text.

They text you.

Your job brief.

Or... an email with a single sentence.

That's it.

That was my job brief for the entire year I was working there.

I did ask them. Like how they were getting their shit together.

without job briefs.

And they were like:

We think that it's unnecessary :) You know~

The last company I worked in

had sooo many stupid job briefs :)

We think that texting is faster and it gets straight to the point :)

Don't you agree? :)

No??

Omg NO?"???

Why would you ever think that they were unnecessary in the first place??

The inconsistencies with your instructions...

What the client wants

What YOU want

and what was given to me

has that... not occurred to you that...

the lot of you are a huge horrible mess?

No Job Briefs? Fine.

If this is the company's culture

then... I just have to adjust to it. Right?

fml

Secondly!

Project Timelines and Gantt Chart

We don't have those either.

My project manager

is a Magical Time Wizard (apparently)

She remembers ALL the dates and the time estimated to complete a project before it's dued (because she's uses magic)

that's why.

90% of the time

I'm working on last minute work.

Yeah.

and I don't get overtime pay... by the way.

even if I'm like, working from seven to ten

In the night

I don't get paid.

Which led to an argument I got with her.

About the Gantt Charts.

But uhm

We'll save that story for another day, shall we?

Untitled Emails!

Y'know it's cool that you guys don't even bother to write your job briefs

You'd think they bothered with titling their emails properly.

Nope.

You know shit's wrong with your boss if she asks you to send the same email

Literally FIVE minutes after you sent it

Because she couldn't find it

That's how messy her inbox was.

NEVER. Have I EVER.

Worked with people THIS disorganised.

And I thought group projects back in university was horrible enough.

Guess I thought wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed the video!

I'd like to thank my Patrons for making this possible.

🔮 Channeled Reading for March 26 - April 1, 2018 - Duration: 12:46.

Hello, and welcome to our weekly reading.

This energy reading is for the week of March 26 through April 1.

Holy moley.

(giggle)

So, we are working with The Housewives Tarot deck, and we're looking at two aspects of

life: our human selves and our soul selves.

So, let's get started and find out what's in store for us this week, beginning with

our human selves.

Okay. (giggle) The Fool.

Will ya look at that.

The Fool.

So, The Fool is the first card in the major arcana of Tarot.

Its number - I don't know if you noticed - is zero.

And that's because The Fool is just getting started.

So, let's find out what that energy means for us this week.

We notice that with the energy of The Fool, we are asking you to be in emptiness; to ask

yourself how you might refrain from imposing any outside influences upon your internal

work.

In this way, this creates an emptiness which permits you to put upon yourself what you

need, that you may then begin your new journey.

Oh.

Okay.

I like that.

The Fool...

When I think of that card, the word "foolish" comes to mind, which kind of makes sense - except

for the fact that when we typically use the word "foolish," we're using it in a derogatory

fashion.

The word "foolish," even though I'm not looking it up in the dictionary, it's vibration more

feels like one who just doesn't take other things into consideration before making a

move.

And while it would be easy to say, "That isn't a good idea," the point of this message is,

we need to, as I just heard, "divest" ourselves of external influences that are "abiding"

within us.

Because those external forces are coming, perhaps, from well-intentions places - are

coming from lessons that we've chosen to learn; I just heard, "classes" we've chosen to take;

people we admire and so listen to and perhaps really take their words to heart - and make

sure within that clarity of just stripping all that away, that whatever we do "imbue"

(there's another great word) ourselves with resonates; really resonates at the intuitive

level; at the soul level.

And in doing that, what we impart upon our human lives is our core energy.

It truly becomes our experience, rather than an experience that's influenced by other people's

opinions of what our experience is meant to be.

Okay?

So, really interesting energy for this week.

It's a great invitational energy.

Is "invitational" a word?

It is now.

(giggle) If it wasn't, it is now.

So, yes.

An invitation to do the work necessary to make that the path we're walking is the path

we're meant to be walking.

Okay?

Ooh.

Big.

Big stuff.

Good stuff.

All right.

So... hilarious.

For our soul selves.

[Two of Swords] Is she really going to attempt to carve that turkey with that blindfold on?

It actually feels like she could.

They're showing me a scene from Star Wars: A New Hope - so, the original Star Wars movie

- where Luke, for the first time, is challenged by Obi Wan Kenobi to trust the Force rather

than trusting his own eyesight.

And so, I believe he actually does put something over his eyes so he can't see.

And, if you've seen the movie, perhaps you'll remember that there is some kind of an orb

that is shooting laser beams of some sort at him while he's wielding his lightsaber.

And even with that machine over his eyes so he can't see what's happening, he is easily

able to deflect those laser lights.

So what does that mean for us, having said all that without asking for channeled information?

And now we'll get the channeled information.

We notice that in this, we ask for you to understand that the soul does not require

human senses.

Soul energy requires those senses which exist without the physical senses.

And in this, it is why we are insistent that Ellen speak always regarding intuition.

For it is intuition which holds the truth.

It is intuition which holds all excellence; all validation that is every required.

Notice we have asked Ellen to close her eyes.

And we notice that even so, she is appearing on camera; she is working; and, in fact, she

is beginning to notice what is happening here, with her soul eye.

And when we ask Ellen to ask, "What is needed," we show her a Ferris Wheel.

What does a Ferris Wheel offer?

It offers a gentle, and also complete, viewing of what is around the area.

Okay.

Well, that was pretty neat.

I appreciate the vision.

And it was like a movie, because I was definitely seeing the Ferris Wheel moving around.

And it was interesting that my inner eye - my soul eye - was really captivated always by

the cart - seat - as it got to the top of the wheel.

Each one.

That was the one I was drawn back to, again and again, because it's at the height of the

wheel - the top of the wheel - and so has, arguably, the best view; the most complete

view.

However, even as the carts are moving around the different aspects of the wheel - even

as they're coming to the bottom of the wheel - there's still something to see.

There's still information to be received.

So, different perspectives.

Right?

And that, I believe, is the gift of our intuitive senses and, in this case, our intuitive sight.

Because we can look at a situation with our physical eyes, and perhaps be horrified or,

as I just heard, "mollified."

And then when we ask - and I do make it a point to ask - for a vision of the same situation

within my third eye, I'm typically shown something of an energetic form.

Yes, it can sometimes come in like the vision of the Ferris Wheel.

Um...

Oftentimes, it will come in a way that is, uh, very metaphorical, and to a point where

it might seem like there's no correlation.

Except then, when it's studied, it becomes apparent that there definitely is a correlation.

It's a different way of looking at it.

It's a more, I just heard, "cohesive" way of looking at it.

It's also a much more clear way of looking at it, because all of the external forces

of the human life are stripped away from it.

And so, we're looking at the "bare bones" of it.

And that's where we gain the true insight.

That's where we gain the truth.

Period.

Okay?

So, wow.

That was interesting.

Uh...

I feel like it went off on a little tangent in a way, and yet it feels really important.

So, why might these two cards together be important this week?

How might they work with each other?

For me, it just - it seems pretty obvious.

The fact that with The Fool, we're asked to be as The Fool; to be without... without things

we need.

Look how all of those things are just flying out of her bag.

So, all the things that she thinks that she needs she isn't going to have in a moment.

Because, in a way, she doesn't have a care in the world.

That's her tone.

She doesn't have a card in the world.

And this one is about trust.

Trusting the process.

Trusting the journey.

Trusting that we do have what we need, even if it's stuff we can't put in our purse; even

if it isn't stuff we can say, "Yeah, look.

See?

I took this course.

Here's my proof."

We don't need that kind of proof.

Okay?

So...

Go forth.

Be a little foolish this week.

And trust the Force.

Until next time, take really good care.

Lots of love.

I first heard about the Harry Ransom Center

when I was a freshman. I went to a reading

by Ian McEwan and a book signing and got to meet one of my

favorite authors and actually ended up in the galleries

and saw what goes on inside of the Ransom Center

and was very intrigued.

I think for a lot of students the Ransom Center

has an opportunity to learn more students love that it's free and

it's very accessible. It's easy to just walk

in and sort of explore. And I was really interested in

that and found like my passion in that bringing art

and literature and all of these artifacts to people who may

not encounter it otherwise. You don't need to be

a professional or a scholar to go in there you can explore

on your own. The Ransom Ceneter is such

a high quality institution with so many great artifacts

and pieces of information that it's really a resource

that a lot of students at a lot of different

universities can't find.

Coming back as a volunteer is almost a perk for me

it's just kind of a coincidence and I also help out the Center.

March For Our Lives - Duration: 5:57.

>>> TOMORROW A MARCH WILL TAKE

PLACE ON THE CAPITOL AND IN

CITIES ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

STUDENTS ARE REACTING TO THE

TRAGEDY AND IN MEMORY OF THE 17

WHO WERE MURDERED IN PARKLAND,

FLORIDA.

THEIR GOAL, FIGHT BACK AND ENACT

COMMON SENSE GUN SAFETY LAWS.

JACK DOHERTY, A STUDENT FROM

HIGH SCHOOL NORTH IN NEW JERSEY

AND WILL BE MARCHING IN THE

PROTESTS LOCALLY AND IS HERE TO

TELL US ABOUT SOME OF THE

DETAILS.

THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE.

>> THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME.

>> WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THESE

MARCHES?

>> THE MARCHES ARE TO SHOW THE

COUNTRY THAT STUDENTS ALL OVER

THE NATION ARE MARCHING AND

SPEAKING OUT, BUT THEY'RE NOT

SILENT ON THE ISSUE.

IT'S REALLY TO SHOW THAT

STUDENTS WANT AN END TO SCHOOL

SHOOTINGS IN AMERICA.

>> AS I MENTIONED IN THE

BEGINNING, STUDENTS WILL BE

MARCHING ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

AND YOU'RE PARTICIPATING IN A

MARCH THAT'S CENTERED IN NEWARK,

NEW JERSEY.

WHY NEWARK?

>> I THINK WHEN THE STUDENTS

ORGANIZERS WERE TALKING ABOUT

WHERE TO MARCH IN NEW JERSEY,

NEWARK IS A CITY THAT'S BEEN

PLAGUED BY GUN VIOLENCE,

PARTICULARLY FOR THEIR STUDENT.

THEY HAVE HAD GUN VIOLENCE.

EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT A MASS

SHOOTING, THEY'RE STILL LOSING A

LOT OF KIDS TO GUN VIOLENCE.

>> WHAT ARE YOU SEEING FROM THE

PEOPLE IN NEWARK ITSELF?

>> IT'S BEEN PHENOMENAL, THE

MAYOR, THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS,

HAVE BEEN HELPING TO ORGANIZE

THE MARCH, WHICH IS COMPOSED OF

STUDENTS ACROSS THE STATE.

NEWARK IS A GREAT CITY FOR THIS

MARCH, WORKING TOGETHER WITH THE

POLICE DEPARTMENT, TO ALLOW THIS

ALL TO FUNCTION REALLY WELL.

>> WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS

FOR THIS MARCH IN TERMS OF HOW

MANY PEOPLE ARE GOING TO SHOW UP

AND WHAT WILL COME FROM IT?

>> I ALWAYS SAY SHOWING UP IS

HALF THE BATTLE.

SO AS MANY PEOPLE CAN SHOW UP,

THE MORE PEOPLE THE BETTER.

AS LONG AS THERE'S A GOOD

SHOWING, THAT SHOWS HOW MANY

PEOPLE CARE.

IN NEW JERSEY, WE'RE LOOKED AT

AS A STATE THAT ALREADY HAS

TOUGH GUN LAWS.

SO WHY GO OUT AND MARCH?

SO THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR

STUDENTS TO SPEAK OUT FOR OTHER

STATES THAT DON'T HAVE LAWS LIKE

US.

>> YOU HAVE BECOME VERY ACTIVELY

INVOLVED IN THIS, YOU'VE BECOME

ONE OF THE LEADERS AND THE

ORGANIZERS CERTAINLY IN YOUR OWN

HIGH SCHOOL IN NEW JERSEY AND

INVOLVED NATIONALLY.

ARE YOU SURPRISED AT THE

REACTION THAT YOU HAVE SEEN, NOT

JUST THAT YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED

YOURSELF, BUT THAT YOU HAVE SEEN

ACROSS THE COUNTRY, FROM YOUNG

PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF?

>> I THINK TO SEE HOW QUICK IT

HAPPENED, HOW THIS MOVEMENT HAS

JUST EXPLODED.

AND I THINK YOU LOOK AT SOCIAL

MEDIA, I THINK IT'S NO SURPRISE

TO SEE HOW MANY STUDENTS JUST

LIKE THAT ARE GETTING INVOLVED

AND REALLY TAKING THIS TO HEART.

>> WE HAD THE WALKOUT, THE

NATIONAL WALKOUT BY STUDENTS

ACROSS THE COUNTRY, TELL ME HOW

IT PLAYED OUT IN YOUR SCHOOL?

>> ABOUT TWO WITDAYS BEFORE THE

WALKOUT, WE HAD A STUDENT POST

ON INSTAGRAM WITH A GUN AND

MAKING A THREATENING REMARK, SO

FOR SAFETY REASONS, WE THOUGHT

WE SHOULD STEP BACK AND NOT WALK

OUT.

BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT WE

CAN'T REPRESENT THE MOVEMENT.

TO INSTEAD OF WALKING OUT, WE

HAD ASSEMBLIES, WHERE STUDENTS

GOT TO REPRESENT THEIR OPINIONS

AND BE ABLE TO TALK ABOUT HOW

THEY FEEL ON THE ISSUE.

>> DID YOU HAVE A LARGE

PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS

PARTICIPATING HERE?

>> YEAH I WOULD SAY ABOUT

THREE-QUARTERS OF THE SCHOOL

SHOWED UP IN MY SCHOOL, AT THE

ASSEMBLY.

>> WHEN WE HAVE HAD PEOPLE

TAKING A LOOK AT THIS MOVEMENT,

ESPECIALLY HISTORIANS WHO HAVE

LOOKED BACK ON SIMILAR

MOVEMENTS, ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT

HAVE BEEN DRIVEN BY YOUNG PEOPLE

AND THEY HAVE OFTEN SAID, THIS

IS SIGNIFICANT, IT'S IMPORTANT,

BUT THERE HAS TO BE SOME

FOLLOWTHROUGH, AND ONE OF THE

FOLLOWTHROUGHS YOU OFTEN HEAR

PEOPLE SAY, IS VOTING, YOUNG

PEOPLE NOT JUST REGISTERING TO

VOTE, BUT ACTUALLY SHOWING UP

AND CASTING A BALLOT.

ARE YOU HAVING CONVERSATIONS --

YOU'RE JUST A JUNIOR IN HIGH

SCHOOL, SO YOU'RE A COUPLE YEARS

AWAY.

ARE YOU HAVING THESE

CONVERSATIONS SO THE YOUNG

PEOPLE WHO ARE PARTICIPATING

WILL UNDERSTAND, IT'S WONDERFUL

TO BE DOING THIS, AND IT'S

SIGNIFICANT AND IT'S COMPELLING

AND IT'S IMPORTANT, BUT THERE

HAS TO BE FOLLOWTHROUGH

AFTERWARDS?

>> DEFINITELY.

THE BIG THING WE HAVE BEEN

TRYING TO PUT AN EMPHASIS ON,

ALTHOUGH WALKOUTS AND PROTESTS

AND SIT INS ARE A POWERFUL

COMPONENT OF DEMOCRACY, THE MOST

POWERFUL TOOL IS TO VOTE, TRY TO

HAVE STUDENTS REGISTER AND LEARN

WHERE THEIR VOTING LOCATIONS

ARE.

AND BY CARRYING THROUGH, YES, WE

CAN MARCH IN THE STREETS, BUT IF

WE DON'T GO TO THE BALLOT BOX

AND MAKE A CHANGE, NOTHING WILL

HAPPEN.

>> YOU KNOW THERE ARE STUDENTS

ACROSS THE COUNTRY WHO SAY, I

WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS.

STUDENTS IN NEWARK, ARE ASKING

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THIS?

>> I THINK OUR BIGGEST ASSET

RIGHT NOW IS INSTAGRAM, TWITTER,

FACEBOOK, ONLINE WEBSITES AND

SEARCH IN MARCH FOR OUR LIVES

AND IT WILL THESE DESIGNATE WHER

NEAREST MARCH IS, NOT JUST IN

BIG CITIES, BUT YOU CAN CONTACT

YOUR REPRESENTATIVES AND BE PART

OF OUR MOVEMENT.

>> YOU HAVE BEEN DOING SUCH

MARVELOUS WORK HERE IN DRIVING

THIS MOVEMENT AND MAKING SURE

YOU'RE VOICES ARE HEARD.

WE'LL LOOK FORWARD TO TALKING TO

YOU SOME MORE AS THIS MOVEMENT

CONTINUES.

YOU BE WELL. 185 00:05:50,783 >> THANK YOU.

goes around Tokyo Disney Resort With this train you can easily go to Disneyland,

Disneysea and other hotels in this area Here is our ticket and we got free original

keychains as well Now we are going to go inside and we'll

try to do as much as we can in 3 hours Instead of a castle like in Disneyland, the

big mountain is the center of Disney Sea From here we turned to the left side to go

to our first destination which is the Tower of Terror

Because the organizer of this event rented out the whole park, there were not that many

people so we could move really fast in the line

However, because we could move so fast, I didn't really have time to film properly

or even adjust my camera's brightness Anyway, this attraction is designed to look

like hotel but it's actually a drop tower I didn't really know what to expect so I

screamed a lot during the sudden drops Still I must admit that the view during the

drop was amazing

Our second destination is Toy Story Mania I think it's the most popular ride in Tokyo

DisneySea so even though I've been here several times, I had never had the chance

to try this attraction That's why it was really awesome that we

could go inside in just 30 minutes If you go to Disneysea, you should rush to

get the fastpass for this attraction first because it runs out very fast

This attraction is 3D experience and you will board a vehicle that spins around throughout

the ride and what you have to do is to shoot at the targets appearing on the screen and

try to score as high as you can It was really fun and I can totally understand

why it was so popular

After getting out of Toy Story Mania, I ran as fast as I could to see the parade

I'm glad I did that because the parade was much better than I thought

It was actually beyond my imagination and if you get to watch it, you will understand

what I mean Anyway, I was only able to record a part of

the parade so I hope you will enjoy it

The next destination is Mermaid Lagoon and it's also my most favorite attraction in

Disneysea The musical show in the theater there is something

you should not miss if you visit this park It's actually prohibited to film inside

but I found some videos of the show on Youtube so I will put that in the description box

You will be able to see Ariel sing and swim around in the air with her beautiful dance

moves

Our last destination was the Journey to the Center of the Earth

This ride is a high-speed adventure that includes sharp turns and sudden drops inside the mountain

and the view during the ride was also incredible We were running out of time so I couldn't

film much It was almost 10:30 by the time we got out

of this attraction so we had to leave the park

So in 3 hours, we were able to ride 3 different attractions, watched the parade and watched

1 musical show We couldn't have done this if it wasn't

a private event I had a great evening but I also was too hungry

because I didn't eat anything and just focused on playing as much as I could

Let's say goodbye to DisneySea for now and if you enjoyed this video, don't forget

to leave a thumbs-up Subscribe and turn on the bell for more videos

about life and travel in Japan Have a productive week and I will see you

in another video Bye~

Justice for Kokito, Puppy Who Died on United Flight - Duration: 5:51.

>>> ACCORDING TO THE UNITED

STATES DEPARTMENT OF

TRANSPORTATION, IN 2017, 24

ANIMALS DIED WHILE BEING

TRANSPORTED BY AIR, OF THOSE 189

-- 18 OCCURRED ON UNITED

ARMIES.

AFTER THE DEATH OF THE FRENCH

BULLDOG COCHITO WHO WAS FORCED

INTO AN OVERHEAD BIN JUST BEFORE

A FLIGHT, UNITED AS TAKEN

RESPONSIBILITY AND AS ANNOUNCED

MEASURES TO KEEP SUCH DEATHS

FROM HAPPENING IN THE FUTURE.

BUT WHATEVER UNITED DECIDES TO

DO OR NOT DO REGARDING IT'S

TREATMENT OF ANIMALS, PET LOVERS

EVERYWHERE ARE ASKING, HOW COULD

THIS EVER HAVE HAPPENED AND HOW

CAN WE MAKE SURE THAT THIS NEVER

HAPPENS AGAIN TO ANY ANIMAL ON

ANY AIRLINE.

AND JOINING US NOW IS THE

ATTORNEY OF THE FAMILY WHO OWNED

COCHITO.

>> THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME.

>> LET'S GET TO THE PARTICULARS

OF THE CASE.

WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR CLIENTS,

WHEN THEY GOT ON BOARD THE

UNITED FLIGHT FROM HOUSTON TO

NEW YORK WITH COCHITO?

>> CATALINA, SOPHIA, A SMALL

INFANT AND COCHITO IN A TSA

APPROVED BAG BOARDED A FLIGHT

FROM HOUSTON TO NEW YORK AND

WERE SEATED.

AFTER THEY WERE SEATED, THE

FLIGHT ATTENDANT CAME BY AND

ORDERED CATALINA TO REMOVE THE

BAG FROM THE SPACE IN FRONT OF

HER AND PUT IT IN THE OVERHEAD

BIN.

>> NOW, SEE, THAT'S A POINT OF

DISPUTE, BECAUSE THE ATTENDANT

SAYS THAT THE BAG THAT COCHITO

WAS IN, WAS IMPEDING THE AISLE.

BUT ACCORDING TO UNITED AIRLINES

GUIDELINES, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO

PUT IT UNDERNEATH THE SEAT IN

FRONT OF YOU.

ARE YOU SAYING THAT'S WHAT CAT

L

CATALINA DID?

>> THE BAG THAT COCHITO WAS IN,

WAS NOT IMPEDING THE AISLE.

AND THE DOG WAS BARKING AND

MOVING AROUND AND IT WAS VERY

OBVIOUS THAT THERE WAS A DOG IN

THE BAG.

>> WE'LL GET TO THAT IN A

SECOND.

BUT ACCORDING TO THE PASSENGERS

THAT WITNESSED THE INCIDENT,

CATALINA ARGUED WITH THE FLIGHT

ATTENDANT.

BUT SHE AND HER FAMILY WERE

THREATENED BY THE ATTENDANT?

>> YOU KNOW THAT THERE'S A VERY

SEVERE PENALTY FOR NOT FOLLOWING

THE INSTRUCTIONS OF FLIGHT

ATTENDANTS AND THERE COULD BE A

$250 FINE AND 20 YEARS IN JAIL.

SHE WAS JUST FOLLOWING THE

INSTRUCTIONS OF THE FLIGHT

ATTENDANT, IN FACT SHE WAS

BULLIED.

>> SHE WAS TOLD SHE WOULD BE

PULLED OFF OF THE FLIGHT IF THEY

DIDN'T DO THIS?

>> I CAN'T TELL YOU THAT, BUT I

CAN TELL YOU SHE WAS BULLIED AND

SHE WAS ORDERED TO MOVE.

>> UNITED AIRLINES HAS TAKEN

FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT

HAPPENED AND THEY HAVE AGREED TO

REFUND THE TICKETS FOR CATALINA,

SOPHIA AND THE FEE FOR COCHITO,

AND THEY HAVE TAKEN OTHER

MEASURES FOR STOPPING DOGS IN

THE CARGO AREA, AND THEY'RE NOW

INSTRUCTING ALL BAGS BE CLEARLY

MARKED TO HAVE DOGS IN IT.

IS THAT SUFFICIENT TO MAKE YOUR

FAMILY WHOLE?

>> I THINK THAT'S GREAT THAT

UNITED IS TAKING ALL THESE

MEASURES AFTER THE EXACT.

HOWEVER THEY HAVE NOT REVEALED

THE NAME OF THE FLIGHT

ATTENDANT.

AND I DON'T KNOW WHY.

>> SO YOU DON'T KNOW IT EITHER?

>> WE DON'T KNOW IT, NOBODY

KNOWS IT.

AND SHE HAS NOT EVEN APOLOGIZED.

I APPRECIATE UNITED COMING OUT

AND APOLOGIZING AND ACCEPTING

RESPONSIBILITY, WHICH THEY

SHOULD DO.

BUT THERE'S NO ACCOUNTABILITY

HERE AND WE NEED ACCOUNTABILITY.

>> YOU SAID SHE SHOULD BE

CRIMINALLY CHARGED.

CHARGED FOR WHAT?

>> FOR SURE THERE'S A CRIMINAL

INVESTIGATION GOING ON.

THERE WAS A VERY EXTENSIVE

INTERVIEW THAT WAS CONDUCTED

YESTERDAY WITH THE DISTRICT

ATTORNEY, THEY'RE LOOKING AT

ANIMAL CRUELTY AND OTHER

CRIMINAL ISSUES.

I CAN'T GO INTO ANY MORE DETAIL

ABOUT THAT, I DON'T WANT TO

IMPEDE IN THEIR INVESTIGATION.

>> WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR YOUR

CLIENTS?

>> WELL, FIRST, AND FOREMOST,

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IS

ACCOUNTABILITY.

THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT NEEDS TO

COME FORWARD, WE NEED TO KNOW

WHO SHE IS.

WE NEED TO HAVE THAT TAKEN CARE

OF.

THEN THERE NEEDS TO BE JUSTICE

FOR COCHITO.

AND I THINK SENATOR KENNEDY AND

SENATOR ALCATERA HERE IN NEW

YORK ARE WORKING ON SOME GREAT

LEGISLATION, AND I APPLAUD THAT.

THEY HAVE BROUGHT UP COCHITO'S

LAWS.

AND I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO CALL ON

PRESIDENT TRUMP IN HIS HOMELAND

TO COME OUT AND HELP OUT WITH

THIS LEGISLATION.

THAT'S REALLY HAPPENING RIGHT

NOW.

>> SO TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT

HOW THE FAMILY IS DOING.

SOPHIA IS AN 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL

AND SHE WITNESSED ALL THIS.

AND THE MOTHER WAS DISTRAUGHT,

SHE WAS THE ONE WHO TRIED TO

REVIVE THE LITTLE DOG.

>> IT SOPHIA IS COMPLETELY

DEVASTATED, SHE'S HAVING A

HORRIBLE TIME.

SHE'S ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED AND

SHE KEEPS RELIVING THIS OVER AND

OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

AND THE MOM THE SAME AND THE

DAD.

EVERYBODY ON THAT FLIGHT WAS

TRAUMATIZED, THIS WAS AN

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE THING THAT

HAPPENED.

>> THIS WAS VERY UNBELIEVABLE

TRAGEDY THAT HAPPENED TO THIS

FAMILY.

AND WE'LL LIKE TO SEE HOW IT

PROGRESSES. 175 00:05:40,473 >> WELL, THANK YOU.

Bar Design Tips - How To Design And Build A Drink Rail For A Bar - Duration: 3:36.

What are the guidelines for designing a drink rail for a bar? In this video I'll

discuss the architectural standards for correct drink rail design for bars,

restaurants, sports bars and man caves. Coming up!

Hey, Rick Uzubell again from Cabaret Design Group, where I share my personal

ideas and tips on bar design, draught beer system

design and product reviews.

Later in this video I'll give you 'Today's Takeaway.'

If you're new here, please consider subscribing and

check-out the show notes and links in the

'YouTube Description' below.

Now let's jump into the show!

Drink rails are popular in many settings.

A drink rail is a mini-version of a bar top, and is typically featured along

walls, which is the type of drink rail I'm going to discuss today. From a

previous video of ours, you may recall the restaurant bar which featured two

seating areas along a wall, shown here. The first approach showed three 2-top

tables along the wall, which could yield dining for six, or as a drink rail for 11.

While drink rails can facilitate greater occupancy, they aren't conducive to

dining. However, even where food is being featured, some owners prefer the

profitability of selling more alcohol. When space planning, we need to ensure

proper circulation and interface clearances in front of the bar and drink

rail. Use the following updated ADA standards for ergonomic bar design,

referenced in this downloadable sketch. The height of the drink rail should

match the bar top height, which is between 42 and 45 inches.

The drink rail should be between 10 to 12 inches in depth and should have a

four inch backsplash.

Plan 18 inches for the 'Customer Activity Zone', or 24 inches if using barstools.

Always include a 36 inch 'Activity Zone' for ADA and waitstaff.

Our most popular DIY drink rail design is shown here, reference the downloadable sketch.

If you're unable to afford the same material for your drink

rail as the bar top, at least use a high pressure laminate with a 3/4 inch

particle board core, as shown in this photo. All drink rails should have a continuous

plywood underlayment, setback not more than two inches from the outside edge of

the drink rail. The key to this drink rail design is that it doesn't need

support brackets and it's wholly and continuously supported by the plywood

underlayment, which is fully-constrained between two layers of 2x4 plates inside

the wall. Use three-and-a-half-inch coarse threaded deck screws to fasten.

The drink rail should be bonded to the underlayment with construction adhesive

and for commercial applications, all materials should be fired-treated.

Drink rails work best when the distance from the edge of the bar top to the

opposing wall is between 82 and 96 inches. See you next time!

Coconut Oil Pulling Superior to Chemicals for Oral Health

by Edward Morgan

Swishing your mouth out with coconut oil may be a more effective and safer alternative

to chemical mouthwashes, according to new research.

A new study has proven for the first time that the oral use of coconut oil is effective

in reducing plaque related to gingivitis, a common form of inflammation in the gum tissue

of the mouth that occurs in response to bacterial biofilms (known as plaque) adhering to the

surfaces of the teeth and which can lead to more serious oral condition known as periodontal

disease.

Titled, Effect of coconut oil in plaque related gingivitis a preliminary report,

and published in the Nigerian Medical Journal, researchers decided to test the hypothesis

that the increasingly common practice of oil pulling or oil swishing therapy today,

is as effective for maintaining oral health as has been believed for centuries.

Oil pulling, in fact, is a traditional therapy that stretches at least as far back as 1500

years ago, where it was mentioned in the early Ayurvedic text, the Charaka Samhita, and which

we covered in our article Oil Pulling: Ancient Secret for Optimal Health. Yet,

traditional oil pulling was believed performed mainly with sesame oil, with available published

studies also using sesame seed oil and not coconut.

The new study aimed to fill the data gap on coconut oil:

No studies have been done on the benefits of oil pulling using coconut oil to date.

So a pilot study was planned to assess the effect of coconut oil pulling on plaque induced

gingivitis.

The study enrolled 60 subjects between 16-18 years of age with plaque induced gingivitis.

No control was used, rather, the study was designed to compare the baseline values

and the post intervention values in a single group performing coconut oil pulling in addition

to their oral hygiene routine. The subjects were measured for plaque and gingival indices

at baseline (day 0), and then on days 1, 7, 15, 30 after the oil pulling was started.

The results were reported as follows:

The mean gingival index was 0.91 and the plaque index was 1.19 at baseline.

In comparison to the baseline values both the gingival and the plaque indices substantially

reduced during the period of assessment.

There was a steady decline in both the plaque index and the gingival index values from day

7.

The average gingival index score on day 30 was down to 0.401 (from .91) and the plaque

index score was 0.385 (from 1.19)

The results were found to be statistically significant, indicating that coconut oil is

an effective treatment for reducing gingivitis symptoms and plaque build-up on the teeth.

The reduction of gingivitis and plaque scores within 30 days.

How does it work?

First, coconut oil is a well-known anti-microbial agent, and may have direct anti-bacterial

properties due, in part, to its lauric acid content.

Second, oil pulling results in the emulsification of coconut oil which greatly increases its

surface area and once formed on the surface of the teeth reduces plaque adhesion and bacterial

aggregation, according to the study.

Third, coconut oil produces a soap like substance when the saliva mixes with the oil (a process

known as saponification).

The is also why coconut is used in soap-making.

According to the study, The soaps produced with coconut oil can lather well and have

an increased cleansing action.

The lauric acid in the coconut oil can easily react with sodium hydroxide in saliva during

oil pulling to form sodium laureate, the main constituent of soap which might be responsible

for the cleansing action and decreased plaque accumulation.

A video showing you how to oil pull.

Why coconut is better than chemical mouthwashes The most commonly used active ingredient in

mouthwashes are chlorhexidine, phenol (Listerine) and amine/stannous fluoride (Meridol), with

chlorhexidine being the most effective at controlling plaque induced gingivitis and

inhibiting bacteria.

The problem, however, with chemical mouthwashes is that they have significant, even irreversible

adverse side effects:

Chlorhexidine on long term use alters taste sensation and produces brown staining on the

teeth which is very difficult to remove.

The mucous membranes and the tongue can also be affected and may be related to the precipitation

of chromogenic dietary factors on to the teeth and mucous membranes.

Staining is also associated with the of long term use of Phenol compound and stannous fluoride

containing mouth washes.

In contradistinction, the researchers noted coconut oil does not appear to carry these

side effects:

In the present study there were no reported alterations in the taste or noticeable staining

from coconut oil at the end of 4 weeks.

The study concluded that Oil pulling has been proven to be an effective method in reducing

plaque formation and plaque induced gingivitis.

This preliminary study shows that coconut oil is an easily usable, safe and cost effective

agent with minimal side effects which can be used as an adjuvant in oral hygiene maintenance.

Our Story of Hope for Clean Water by Andy Mann | #waterpositive - Duration: 2:08.

When I set off on this trip around the country, I thought I was going to be

covering a story about algae blooms - vast expanses of tiny green organisms

poisoning our waterways. But then I saw them I saw them in Ohio, in Long Island,

and in the Chesapeake Bay. I've traveled the world sharing the heartbreaking

stories of our planets water issues and I've never seen anything like it

they certainly felt like a justified cause for alarm. Then I met the people

whose lives were deeply impacted by this environmental crisis and

the heroes who have dedicated their lives to finding a solution to it.

That's when I knew I'd found the real story these were the people living on the

front lines of a battle against this sprawling fluorescent foe. People whose

livelihoods are depending on a swift solution and people who are tirelessly

innovating new ways to provide those solutions. Iit made me realize how

connected we all are: fishermen, farmers, scientists, parents, children, storytellers.

And while I was working collaboratively with The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation

throughout this year-long project, we knew it was never simply about telling

their story. It was about telling our story and that felt like a story of hope.

A story about the incredible power we all have when we come together around

the same cause.
