Trump & His Family Are Doing Everything Republicans Tried To Nail Clinton For In The 90's - Duration: 3:32.
To me one of the most interesting things that's happened during the entire Trump administration
is the fact that all of the alleged crimes that Trump and his family have been accused
of doing are actually the exact same kinds of crimes that republicans used, or attempted
to use, to take down Bill Clinton when he was president during the 90s.
Think about that.
All of the investigations that were launched into Bill Clinton are kinda mirror images
of what we're seeing today with the Trump administration.
The Whitewater Real Estate Scandal.
Oh really?
You're gonna ignore the Jared Kushner Real Estate Scandal where he lied on official documents
so that he could kick people out of their rent controlled apartments and then sell them
for twice what he paid for them?
Yeah, that's illegal but you're not saying anything about that are you Republican Party?
Then, obviously, the most glaring one is the sexual misconduct.
How many investigations did republicans in the 90s launch into Bill Clinton just to get
a little glimpse of what this man was doing behind closed doors and whether or not it
was legal or illegal?
Eventually they were able to pop him on lying under oath which is why he was impeached.
He wasn't impeached for the affair, it was lying about the affair under oath.
So that's what they used to take him down.
According to opinion polls, it actually only made him more popular.
But nonetheless, we have a president right now that's being sued by, or at least accused,
excuse me, of sexual misconduct by no fewer than 19 women and yet I don't think I've see
a single republican in congress demand an investigation into that.
A judge just ruled this week that Donald Trump has to face a defamation suit against one
of the women who's suing him for sexual misconduct.
I would think that would warrant some kind of republican investigation just based on
the simple fact that that's what they did throughout the entire years of the Bill Clinton
presidency.
If nothing else, the Trump administration, the Trump presidency, has proven what hypocrites
the republicans in this country are and I'm not just talking about the elected officials,
I'm talking about the voters.
They were calling for investigations during the Clinton years.
They wanted answers.
They wanted this criminal in the White House to be taken down and now they're doing everything
they can to defend his disgusting behavior.
They're trying to say that, "Oh, having an affair with a porn star and paying her off
to keep her quiet, yeah that's fine with us.
We don't care."
"Ah, Jared Kushner lying to federal regulators and then basically making people homeless,
ah, we're totally cool with that but we still are ending all of our tweets with the hashtag
lock her up because we've got some kind of grudge against Hillary Clinton."
I'm no fan of the Clintons, most people obviously know that, but it is ridiculous to see these
same republicans today excusing and being complicit in the behavior of Donald Trump
when they wanted to have Bill Clinton strung up in the 90s for allegedly doing the exact
same things.

Australian captain Steve Smith gets one test ban from ICC for his role in ball tampering plan - Duration: 3:47.
Australian captain Steve Smith gets one test ban from ICC for his role in ball tampering plan
Australian captain Steve Smith has received a one test ban from the International Cricket Council (ICC) for his role in the ball tampering plan.
Smith will now miss the final test of the series against South Africa in Johannesburg.
While Cameron Bancroft received three disciplinary demerit points for the incident but that was not enough for a ban.
The ruling comes just hours after Smith and vice-captain David Warner stood down from their positions for the remainder of the third Test as the fallout from the cheating scandal continues.
Cricket Australia chief executive issued a statement shortly before play resumed in the third Test at Cape Town that both players had agreed to the decision with Tim Paine taking over as captain.
Smith has already admitted that the leadership group was involved in a decision that led to opener Cameron Bancroft rubbing sticky tape over the ball in an effort to gain an advantage over the Proteas.
Bancroft has been charged with breaching the code of conduct and is facing a suspension, while Cricket Australia has already announced that it will conduct a full investigation into the incident.
"Following discussions with Steve Smith and David Warner they have agreed to stand down as Captain and Vice-Captain respectively for the remainder of this Test match," Sutherland said.
"This Test match needs to proceed, and in the interim we will continue to investigate this matter with the urgency that it demands.
"As I said earlier today, Cricket Australia and Australian cricket fans expect certain standards of conduct from cricketers representing our country, and on this occasion these standards have not been met.
"All Australians, like us, want answers and we will keep you updated on our findings, as a matter of priority.
Cricket Australia chairman David Peever said that Smith and Warner would now play under Paine for the remainder of the Test.
"The Board of Cricket Australia has endorsed Tim Paine to step in as Acting Captain for the remainder of this Test.
"Both Steve and David will take to the field today under Tim's captaincy.
"The Board fully supports the process for an immediate investigation into what occurred in Cape Town.
"We regard this as a matter of the utmost seriousness and urgency.
We will ensure we have all information available to make the right decisions for Australian cricket.".
Smith and the team have been widely condemned across the globe with the critics including Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, and former legends including Adam Gilchrist, Ian Healy, Ian Chapell and Michael Vaughan.

Jennifer Hudson sings at March For Our Lives rally after family members were brutally murdered
Jennifer Hudson performed an emotional rendition of Bob Dylan's The Times They Are a Changin' at the March For Our Lives rally against gun violence on Saturday. The 36-year-old Oscar-winning singer performed as the final act at the protest years after losing her mother, brother and nephew to gun violence.
'We all came here for change,' The Voice UK judge told the Washington DC crowd in the middle of the protest song, which featured the actor backed by a local choir.
'We're all here for a reason: We want change,' the mother-of-one added.
In 2008, Jennifer's mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew were murdered in her hometown of Chicago.
In 2012, Hudson's former brother-in-law William Balfour was convicted of murdering her three family members and sentenced to life in prison.
Hundreds of March For Our Lives protests are taking place worldwide today demanding gun control in the wake of the Parkland school shooting.
The DC march is the largest of the planned rallies, and was led by students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School – the Florida school were 17 students, and teachers were killed by gunman Nikolas Cruz.
Advertisement Advertisement A March For Our Lives protest took place in London, too, with people marching in solidarity with the US and calling for a ban on assault rifles and stricter gun control laws.
At the New York City rally, Sir Paul McCartney spoke out against gun violence. He delivered a poignant message with a 'We Can End Gun Violence' T-shirt.
The legendary Beatles singer used the appearance to pay a touching tribute to his former bandmate John Lennon.
The 75-year-old was with wife Nancy Shevell at the rally, which started close to the apartment building where Lennon was shot in 1980.

Defense News Weekly full episode for March 25, 2018 - Duration: 26:00.
On this edition of Defense News weekly see the first flight of a
new surveillance aircraft learn about short range air defense
hear about the future of directed energy And we'll
discuss the state of the defense industry with in-depth
interviews. Up close video and leading analysis this is Defense
News Weekly.
(music)
Welcome to this week's edition of Defense News
Weekly. I'm Jeff Martin. The Army says they will choose their
interim short range air defense solution by the end of this
year. The program designed to close what Army leaders have
called a critical gap will replace Cold War era Avenger
vehicles. And regardless of what launcher is selected the army
has said it will be mounted on a Stryker vehicle while the Army
hasn't said who the leaders are. It has said there are two viable
candidates. Some of the competitors include Boeing and
General Dynamics Raytheon and Rafael. The Army says the goal
is to deploy the first of the new equipment to Europe by
2021. Both the U.S. and South Korea say they'll resume
combined exercises like foal eagle and Key Resolve in Korea.
They were suspended for the Winter Olympic Games. The
exercises which normally cause major tension with North Korea
comes as the North is reportedly preparing to begin negotiations
with the U.S. and South Korea over the rogue country's nuclear
program. But this year the North has been remarkably quiet about
the annual maneuvers which it normally describes as a
rehearsal to invade from the south. In other news from
South Korea sources have told Defense News that the Asian
country plans to buy more AH-64 Apache attack helicopters as
part of a strategic shift within the Korean military. Existing
strategy calls for the Korean military to withstand a North
Korean attack and then counterattack when U.S. troops
arrive. But the possible Apache buy is the first part of a plan
to rapidly advance into North Korea in case of war. Under that
strategy the South Koreans could occupy Pyongyang the capital of
North Korea in two to three weeks. In 2007 Syria's only
nuclear reactor mysteriously blew up. Since then many have
suggested that Israel conducted an airstrike but they have
always denied it until now. In this declassified video taken
from Israeli aircraft you can see the reactor located in a
ravine in northeastern Syria being destroyed by a strike from
eight aircraft. Israel's air force chief who planned the raid
says the strike not only block the Assad government from
getting nuclear weapons but also stopped the Islamic State from
acquiring them as well. You can read more about the daring raid
and why Israel decided to strike at defense News.com. Buying an
aircraft carrier is expensive. But if the Navy buys two of them
at a time it could save a lot of money. While the Navy hasn't
said exactly how much they could save so-called block buys like
this often save upwards of 15 percent of the total cost the
potential of a two carrier buy has been in the news for a
while. And the Navy hopes to have an agreement with ship
builder Huntington Ingle's by the end of the year. The deal
would cover two carriers at the Gerald Ford class CVN 80 which
would be the USS Enterprise and the unnamed CVN 81. And this
isn't the first time the Navy has done this as the Nimitz
class was bought using similar agreements. Check out this
video of Saab new Globaleye surveillance aircraft flying for
the first time. The aircraft is designed to provide airborne
early warning and is based on a Bombardier Global 6000 business
jet. It includes a large detection radar as well as
maritime search capability. As of now the United Arab Emirates
is the prime customer of order three of the aircraft.
Military leaders continue to pay visits to Capitol Hill to
discuss the 2019 budget request and the recent Nuclear Posture
Review. Here's a look at some highlights. We are at the edge
of the technical technological frontier for our nation the
future that the next director will face presents challenges
and opportunities from rapid technological evolution
including machine learning artificial intelligence and
quantum computing as well as the growing capabilities of the
technological industry. Last week the president the United
States said that the new National Defense Strategy for
space recognizes that space is a war fighting domain. I don't
remember any president ever openly saying that he has
relaunched the National Space Council under the leadership of
Vice President Pence and nowhere is his leadership more clear
than in the president's budget and this year's budget
accelerates our ability to deter and defend and protect our
ability to operate and to win in space. Both Russia and China are
aggressively pursuing hypersonic if that happens what kind of
defense Do we have against the hypersonic route. We have a very
difficult. Our defense is our deterrent capability. We don't
have any defense that could deny the employment of such a weapon
against us. So our response would be our deterrent force
which would be the triad and the nuclear capabilities that we
have to respond to such a threat. People come over from
the Pentagon and tell us all kinds of horror stories about
what they don't have about how short they are about their
unfunded requirements about all the money that they need that
they don't have and how that lack of money is going to lead
to one cataclysm after another. And I don't discount the threat
environment that the chairman just described. But if we're
going to get to good on that stuff it can't all be up up up
up up up up. There's got to be someplace in a 700 billion
dollar budget where you go. Gosh I wish I didn't have to spend
that money because I'd like to spend it over here. I think I'm
one of the areas that I need help in that I don't have
persistent ISR intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance.
So I can keep my eyes on, an unblinking eye On North Korea
which we do not have today. You've heard me speak before of
what CRs cost the United States Navy since they began about four
billion dollars burned in a trash can. We saw two Boeing
reported the KC 46 a program had two category 1 deficiency
reports one of the remote vision system and the other in the
centerline drogue system. Are these deficiencies behind the
Air Force's report last week that they're going to revise the
timeline for first delivery and if not tell me the impact of
these deficiencies. Boeing is still saying they're gonna
deliver on time. The Air Force changing the timelines. Can you
give us perspective on where things are. Yes sir. Boeing is
saying that they're going to deliver in the second quarter of
18. The Air Force thinks it's more likely to be late 18. And
Boeing has been overly optimistic in all of their
schedule reports to keep up to date with all of our coverage.

The
Department of Defense is constantly researching new forms
of weaponry both lethal and otherwise and some of those
potentially lethal technologies include lasers both lethal and
non-lethal military times ground combat. Reporter Todd south
attended the Pentagon's directed energy exhibition this week to
learn more. So we're here today at the Pentagon and we're
looking at the lethal and non-lethal directed energy
programs. I mean to the layman they're lasers basically and
behind you see some systems mockups and models of their
different stuff everything from electromagnetic railgun which
has been talked about for years to hyper velocity projectile
basically making a single projectile in an existing system
way faster than what we have now and just is capable accurate or
more than the munitions we have now. They don't have to build a
whole new gun. You also have a high powered microwave unit.
It's really for counter UAS and the counter drones swarm is
basically knocking out entire swarms of drones almost like a
bug zapper with mosquitoes. And you also got the 25 millimeter
small unit Tactical Laser System that has a 30 to 60 kilowatt
laser you can integrate right into the existing systems on a
ship and no extra space no extra requirements and it can knock
down threats such as small unmanned drones that can shoot
lasers that way to disable them and mess up their insides and
deflect that. That threat or another item here to be of use
and interest to our ground troops is the high energy laser
mobility tactical tests truck. Basically they're taking what
they have now out in the field a 5 kilowatt laser which can take
out a small drone of melt that little plastic drone. They're
ramping up that power about 60 kilowatts. This truck would be
essentially be able to take out rockets artillery and mortars as
they keep coming in or before they even really get into the
launch phase once they've left their target. So if you're
sitting there you've got a forward base and those those
things are a threat or some kind of radar notifies they're coming
in. You can melt those things in the sky before they even reach
you or cause any kind of harm. Still in testing phase not quite
to fielding but looks pretty promising inquiry a lot of
scientists here. So now really is something that's quite a bit
smaller and a lot different than what you've seen today. So we
hear a lot about lasers and different kinds of ways of
disrupting technologies like taking down drones by
interfering with their signal. But when we see behind us is a
silent Sabre system it's basically actual heat is going
out and going to melt through something metal or plastic or
just causing enough heat to cause some to shut down. Now
people really think about drones but we have weapons for that
baby could disrupt the new drone. This could do that while
also melting it. This could also simultaneously work on a
landmine or an IED just a few hundred meters out providing
immediate just to melt that object or maybe even cause it to
detonate. Is getting into development showing that a
single individual soldier Marine could carry that capability out
and take out these kind of threads with heat rather than
just a disruptive signal because it all kinds of ways to disrupt
signal is not always the pre-heat on target at those kind
of ranges with a host of different devices and concepts a
day all involving lethal and non-lethal use of directed
energy or lasers from a heat can't you can strap your M4 to
take out drones or idees to you. Lasers mounted on big trucks
ships even futuristic plasma that could shoot to a person and
kind of talk to it almost out of a sci fi movie. There's a lot
going on the problem defense when it comes to lasers a lot of
things down the pipe a lot of things out in the field right
now signing off this is Todd south for Military Times.
Defense companies buying other companies is certainly nothing
new but bidding wars are rare. So I talked to Defense News
Executive Editor Jill Aitoro this week about one that's going
on right now. So Jill now that we have a bidding war for CSRA
between two different companies walk me through how we got here
and where we kind of stand with this possible takeover of this
company. Yes basically it happened a number of weeks ago
is that General Dynamics put in a bid for CSRA. CSRA is
basically spun off from CSC as its government business even
longer ago. So they bid for that. It was a very lucrative
bid in terms of the total value and everyone was quite surprised
by it. saw moving along well we just found out recently is that
CACI. decided to come in and make its own bed exceeding what
General Dynamics had offered so you might call it a bidding war.
In this sense CSRA has remained relatively quiet. Everyone's
kind of now sitting back and seeing what will come of the
situation in terms of who will win out in this scenario of the
General Dynamics has said they're moving forward with
approvals. So could CSRA go you know what we want a little more
money for ourselves and jumped to see a CSC I'll be cutting
everyone's throwing away the term of hostile takeover but
from the perspective of CSRA a you know they are getting a deal
an offer for more money so whether they are saying as much
or not I have to imagine there's an evaluation going on and in
that proposal now a lot falls into acquisition in terms of
what makes something appealing. So there's not much happening
behind the scenes Novalis but what comes of it. You know we
just don't know it was very unusual these are all major
players. It's also interesting because general mix generally we
think of in terms of defense. They're a front player in terms
of the defense market CSRA and CACI are very much leaders in
I.T. services and so they almost are more parallels in terms of
those two companies. So even though the rationale for buying
is different from a general dynamics that I think is looking
to expand its portfolio with CSRA in certain areas where CACI
there is some of that but I think it's also a matter of
growth and bolstering their power and as an I.T. service
provider to the government so when the General Dynamics idea
of a larger company who's bringing on a certain sector to
bring in a news business with CSC it's taking over almost a
competitor to some degree. Now General Dynamics has its I.T.
segment and I think this will bolster that segment but it also
has a lot a lot of defense business that it also relies on.
So it's more a matter of kind of balancing its business areas to
some degree CACI. It's just making it more of a giant in
that space and it does almost CAC.I. if they were to win out
on this it would position them differently against for example
a light switch of course bought the I.T. business from Lockheed
Martin recently. So it's a lot in terms of size and breadth of
Team market and ownership that would be coming from CSC. So
it's a little different in terms of the rationale there. So in
your mind I mean you've seen you've walked at the end as
you've had a lot of experience looking at the industry.
Normally when a company says hey we're going to buy that company
it's off the market so to speak. Yet in this case it's not. So is
this almost like an unwritten rule being broken here. It's
almost an that's where everyone throws around the term of
hostile. I don't think the rule is being broken. It's almost
like an offer is being floated. And it's you know hey we're out
here we're willing to kind of play play ball in terms of an
acquisition that might be more appealing. And so with the whole
industry we've seen a lot of companies mergers acquisitions
where does that stand and is it beneficial for anybody to have
these companies merging and acquiring each other. It's funny
because really what we saw for quite a while was a lull in
M&A and it suddenly gained a little bit of traction over the
course of the last couple of years. And so everyone is saying
there's that you know there's a huge consolidation of the
market. I wouldn't actually say that's happening. I think it's
just back to having a healthy M&A landscape. But we have
some seen some big ones. You have United Technologies that is
buying Rockwell Collins Northrop is buying orbital ATK. What's
happening generally here is that they're expanding their
portfolio they're enabling themselves to be competitive in
new markets. The Defense Department is fine with that.
They like a healthy industrial base where they get a little
nervous is where there's not enough competition and where
these acquisitions do create a consolidation in the market
where there's just not enough players for fair competition and
to make sure that pricing is managed and kept at a reasonable
rate. So that's where they step up and say say this can no
longer happen. I don't think we're there. I don't think the
Defense Department thinks they're there but they evaluate
all of these various deals. And finally as we close out there's
been a lot of news lately about executive pay. Senator Bernie
Sanders has railed against he's called government. He's called
these contractors semi government agencies so they
should be paid they're being paid far more than a cabinet
secretary of them. What's your reaction to that. You know we
hear this is this erupts constantly you know as as over
the years. And the reality is yes the majority of these
companies business is from government. But these are
publicly traded companies. So what you will hear on the
industry side is that they need to compete for talent not
against government agencies but against comparable public
companies of their size. So the reality is that when they're
paying a Marillyn Hewson at Lockheed Martin 20 million
dollars much of it happening to be in stock by the way that's
that's competing against the market and ensuring they have
the talent they need. It's just a reality in terms of publicly
traded companies. You know you have to go with what the demands
that's true. And that's just the state of the market today.
Thanks so much Jill, we appreciate it. Thanks for having
me. Coming up we visit Walter Reed National Military Medical
Center and learn about one UFC fighter working in the
Pentagon.
On this week's Money Minute personal finance expert
Jeannette Mack offers her tips on buying a home in a tight
market. If a new duty station is on your horizon or you're just
looking to move up from renting and you haven't been keeping
tabs on the housing market in your area you could be in for a
surprise. According to the National Association of Realtors
the supply of homes for sale has been trending downward meaning
buyers in many markets are competing for a shrinking number
of available homes. So before you start how shopping you need
to get your financing shipshape. So you can act fast on your
dream home. An experienced mortgage lender can help you
understand your budget and get your prequalified for a loan.
This is key since it makes you a more attractive buyer and now is
not the time to make major purchases or take on new debt.
Low debt and financial stability give you an edge once you do
find a home you love work with your realtor to quickly make a
good offer and be ready to negotiate. If you have
competition it's wise not to offer more than you can afford
just to land the house. There's another one out there for you
just being prepared can be all the difference in the world for

March 29 is National
Vietnam War Veterans Day and as part of that the National
Vietnam War commemoration is working to honor Vietnam
veterans across the United States. A big part of it is
organizing events in every state and territory. And according to
the commemorations director, while the Vietnam War itself
might be controversial. Those that served shouldn't be
warriors don't start wars. Warriors are required to fight
them. The American people I think know today you've got to
separate the warrior from the war. Politicians make the
decision. Leaders make that decision. What you want from
your military is to go where they're sent and do the job
they're told to do well in the 50s and the 60s and 70s. These
veterans signed up and went and most of them went as volunteers
and they served and they served honorably. And for that service
to the nation is what's important. Something that's
often forgotten about the Pentagon is that it's actually
one of the world's largest office buildings or more than
24000 people filing every day. Among them is one active duty
soldier. It takes a bit of a different coffee break during
his day military times's Nicole Baukeh as more when it comes
to his day job. Sergeant First Class Colin Smith has a pretty
typical set up. So did a day most of the time in an office
city just like this working the calendars for the siak as well
as his travel plans with people all over the world. He works in
the office of Command Sergeant Major John Troxell where he
helps plan and handle his boss's trips and travel. I am his
action officer and operations NCO. So what I do. Action
officer is a fancy title. Basically it comes down to this
actionable way to work on any trips. I'll prepare the trip
execute the trip and then I'll close that trip out. But twice a
day. Smith descends into the catacombs of the Pentagon where
he does something a little more exuberant. Along with being an
active duty soldier. Smith is also a professional UFC fighter
a passion and talent he discovered while deployed to
Baghdad in 2007 during the surge. Outside of working out
again during our free time there wasn't a whole lot to do just
dwell on what happened that day or you know the atrocities we've
seen in war. So I went to the local market and I got some some
you have seen DVDs DVD one through like you've see 40 or
something and I watch them a little portable DVD player in my
free time and that kind of sparked my interest. I was like
you know what I want to do this I can do this. I got a punching
bag from there bought a punching bag from a local market downtown
in Baghdad. In Ghazaliyah and I put it up in our in our
stairwell actually in the house that we took over in the middle
of Baghdad and Gaza western Baghdad and Ghazaliyah and you
know started the punching bag and I told all my guys like
listen, and I'm going to be in UFC 150 you watch you know
they're all laughing. Yeah right. Well it turns out I was
actually in UFC 160. So I wasn't too far off from from the
prophecy that I had. Smith began pursuing his goal when he
returned to the U.S. in 2008 and immediately saw success. In 2012
Smith participated in and won Season 16 of the ultimate
fighter. So I'm the only soldier ever to fight all while on
active duty in the UFC. So I was in U.S. for over two years I was
in the Ultimate Fighter television series as well and
I'm the only one ever do it while on active duty. Now Smith
is training for his first fight in two years. He'll be facing
off against Sean Brady in the shoguns for the welterweight
title bout at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in
Hollywood Florida on March 17th. 11-0, guys never tasted defeat
full time fighter. Obviously we talked about it previously. I'm
a full time soldier. Coltons probably the most dedicated
athlete that I've ever been involved with. or been around.
This fight is a three round fight. The train from. 5 round
fight. That's what's going to hit his hand. Smith goes into
every fight and training workout remembering his brothers and
sisters in arms. I put a lot more pressure on my shoulders. I
am representing so many men and women in uniform but it pushes
me harder to know. You know I have all of the service members
my subordinates my peers my leaders are going to be watching
me when I fight and ill a lot of it. I feel the pressure that I
need to go out there to execute like they would have any mission
accomplished that mission and defeat my opponent and not only
defeat my opponent but put an exclamation point on it for
them. From outside the cage in the Pentagon Athletic Center.
I'm Nicole Bauke. advancements of military
medicine have saved countless lives that might have been lost
due to mishaps on and off duty. Some of those advancements
include motion capture and augmented reality and they're in
use at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in
Bethesda. Dustin Diaz visited the hospital and talked to a
sailor who is using this technology to get back to the
life he once knew. This is the computer assisted rehabilitation
environment or CAREN lab. . If it looks like a giant video game
that's because it essentially is one I can program applications
so start from scratch and create anything that the connections
want. It's very neat to have. A mechanical computer the motion
capture all of these systems integrated together and work at
the same time. There are only 10 CAREN labs in the world.
programs applications on this one designed to help physically
rehabilitate injured servicemen. It does this with specialized
cameras augmented reality scenarios projected onto a
massive high definition curved display and a motion platform
with an embedded treadmill. Occasionally. Very excited to
work on the system and he definitely has a he has a
background in gaming and it's exciting for him to be able to
incorporate that in his rehabilitation and a lot of
patients get that excitement out of it. Some service members
refer to the care lab or hurt in combat with traumatic brain
injuries amputations or other grievous injuries. Others suffer
noncombat injuries like Petty Officer Jared Lenahan did four
years ago and after I had deployed to Afghanistan I went
to Sicily to rock climbing with some friends on a weekend and
some gear broke that wasn't supposed to and I took a 50 foot
drop outdoors straight to the ground. It was a bad fall broke
three fingers on my right arm two fingers on my left side fib
on my right leg two toes on the left side three toes on the
right side fracture two ribs kidney laceration liver
laceration a moderate traumatic brain injury and Ive got it
right on the left side my leg as well. But he says it could have
been worse. I probably shouldn't have my leg right now. I should
also probably be dead right now. Ive come a long way and I'm
going to keep going. Jared is also seen in the adjacent gate
lab which is part of Walter Reed center for performance and
clinical research. This side of the house uses sophisticated
motion analysis equipment to find exactly what that
individual service members problems are and how to address
them. The left screen that is Jared green CAREN training and
as you can see from that there's a lot of side to side motion.
What you're seeing on the right screen this is kind of a
midpoint. He was able to do a fast walk which is what's
depicted on the screen. His gait is more fluid. He is definitely
able to walk faster and he's eliminated that side to side
motion with the data from the keratin gate labs. The help of
Walter Reed staff and diligent training. Jared plans to get
back to the life that he used to know. Currently my goal is just
to get back to rock climbing 100 percent. Dustin Diaz Defense

DIY Matzah Cover for Passover (No Sewing Required) - Duration: 5:30.
Hi I'm Claire Sherman.
Today we're going to make a no-sew matzah cover for Pesach
to put on your Pesach the table, your Passover table on top of the matzo.
What you should not do...
So here is a matzo cover that I made when I was
a teenager and the first mistaken it illustrates
is that it is too small
exactly the size of a piece of matzah which is too small
and the fabric that I
picked was an old sheet and you can see that in the last however many years it's
been since I was a teenager it's starting to fall apart
so don't use an old sheet.
okay let's do it.
here's technique number one
these are fabric crayons so they're specifically for drawing on fabric
the instructions tell you to draw on a piece of paper and then transfer it
but I find that the color is better
if you draw right on the fabric
so let's draw on fabric
take your iron and a piece of parchment paper
so that you would iron it and take the paper off and it's permanent
the next technique you could use these fabric pens
these are fabric markers usually you have to iron them to make it permanent
you should read the directions
the technique I'd like to show you today is
how to do it with fabric and and fusible web
so here I have my piece of fabric I
like to use 100% cotton it doesn't matter that much just make sure that
your iron is set or whatever whatever you're using
now I'm going to show you
how to use fusible web
so this is my favorite brand
it's called Keaton bond but there are other brands
they're all supposed to be
permanent it's better if you sew through them too
really make it permanent but I've been using some of these matzah covers for
years without so any sewing and you know it's lasted
if they start coming off, you just iron them again
so here is the fusible web and notice that it's
shiny on one side and has sort of a texture and the other side is Pinker the
other side is actually parchment paper just like you would buy in the grocery store
so i found these frogs
I like frogs because frogs are for Pesach and the plague
I'm gonna iron my piece of fabric
and I want to cut a piece of this glue basically because that's what this stuff is
I want to cut it the size of my frogs but I don't want it to
be bigger than than them because it's really you really do not want to get this on your iron
you can also use a piece of parchment paper to iron with
so just a couple of seconds a couple seconds and it's on there okay so let's
start figuring out what we're gonna do on this challah cover matzah cover sorry
so I took a piece of fabric that had bricks in it and I decided wouldn't that
be fun to make pyramids out of so here are pyramids and that you notice that
has the fusible web on the back so you just peel it off now if you have trouble
peeling it off let's say this one just won't peel you can take your scissors
and you score it and then so you're making a place for it to come off
sometimes it's really hard to peel it off let's put that there
maybe I don't know eight seconds worth 10 seconds something like that done
so there we go
now the thing that says that this is a matzah cover is the word matzah
you could also do the word Pesach and I've got some pieces of fabric that
already have the fusible web on the back and I've cut out the word matzah
I left one for you to see now this what I use to draw here is called a Stabilo pencil
because if you use real pencil it probably won't come out
peel all of these make sure that you've peeled them because they won't stick unless you peel them
and notice how its shiny on this side that's the glue side and you can see
that the glue is on there sometimes you haven't ironed them enough and the glue
hasn't stuck to it yet so make sure that it's really where you want it okay and
just straight down you don't want to move around because you might mess
things up straight down this is called pressing as opposed to ironing and
quilters know about this
okay there we go we have a matzah cover for Pesach

Chinese Girl Visits NYC Chinatown For The FIRST Time ! 🇨🇳 - Duration: 10:58.
Oh my god I really love this
I've heard you say oh my god at least 30 times
Oh my god
What is it?
They are so delicious
It comes to me from my childhood
We can buy everywhere in China
If Chinese people see this
They will go crazy
What is going on Members of the Barrio
It's Jon coming to you from the heart of Chinatown
In Manhattan
When of the biggest Chinatown's in the entire world
And today I've got a special treat for you
I had a subscriber reach out to me
She's from China
And we decided on something really cool
We're going to experience
Her first time
In New York Chinatown
Together
And get her impressions of it as a Chinese person
We've got Sophie here
It is your first time
In New York's Chinatown Manhattan
Are you excited
What are your first impressions?
I feel i'm in China
Except the architecture can distinguish the China and the American one
I feel the..
Chinatown is very big
I'm looking forward to our trip
We are going to start this tour at Hong Kong Supermarket
We're going to walk around with a camera
And we are going to see if Sophie recognizes
Any cool things from home..Are you ready?
Yeah
I actually discovered this supermarket on Yelp.com
It was the highest rated..
And apparently one of the biggest Chinese supermarkets
Around
So I thought it would be the perfect first spot for us to start
This place is enormous
In Jian Jiang
Especially the south of China
In our daily cooking
We use wine
Can you drink this
Or is this only for cooking purposes?
Normally you can drink it
My father drinks it
When I was young I saw that
I don't know if it's used for cooking
Maybe
Look
Look at the size
It's perfect
And how much
Pork, shrimp, chives, dumplings
This one is like..
Cebullet in French
It's really good
I'm going to show you one thing
It's Chinese Men's Lover
Secret Lover
Okay now i'm curious
Their is people..
Here
A grandma.. named in Chinese
She's very famous
From China
If men travel outside of China
They must bring this grandma with them
It's their secret lover
To my Mexican viewers
This is like Valentina in Mexico
You must leave your house in China with this..
When was the last time you saw that squid..
In your life
Probably.. 15 years ago
When you just finish the party
Get home.. what do you want?
Maybe 100% of chinese would tell me
They want instant noodles
So this is all kinds of instant noodles
I'm so surprised..
Because we don't have so many in Paris
Wow
It's impressive
I have to say Sophie's enthuiasm
For this store
She's running around everywhere
It's intoxicating
I'm starting to like this store a little bit to
Even though I don't know where most of these things are.
It's all very exotic
All really cool
Oh my god
I really love this
I've heard you say oh my god at least 30 times
Oh my god
What is it?
They are so delicious
It comes to me from my childhood
We can buy everywhere in China
If Chinese people see these things
They will go crazy
You must buy it
What is it?
It's a brand from Taiwan
It's a dry food
It's like a biscuit
But a salty one
There she is
We just left the supermarket
And she's super hungry
I'm super hungry
We're going to go to a Dim Sum Spot
What is it called
Jing Fong
Jing Fong
She actually got this recommended by some Chinese friends
If they recommended it
We're going to go check it out
Let's go
All those golden ones are for marriage
What did you just say to the lady?
We said..
Drink afternoon tea.
The first impression is that we are at.. a big Chinese wedding
Like a Chinese banquet hall
In Hong Kong
People drink the morning tea and the afternoon tea
After breakfast
And lunch
They eat many meals
Steamed food just comes by
And you can pick it yourself
This is.. pork
Yeah.. with a bone
I don't know which part of the pork
It is
Can I make the first bite?
I'm so hungry
You are so hungry. Go do it
How does it compare to what you would eat back home?
The taste?
Because for me it's always hard to get that authentic taste
When you go to a different country
I think this one is even better
Egg custard bun
The custard is so warm
It's got this perfect flavor
Especially on a cold day like today
Excellent dessert
What did you think of the Egg Custard bun?
Very good
Yeah?
One of the best I've eaten since.. 5 years ago
It was approximately 7 dollars a person
For three different dim-sums that we shared
Very affordable
The tea was only $1.00 each
Chinatown is by far the most affordable neighborhood in New York City
For eating
No question
How would you rank your first
New York Chinatown
Eating experience
So far so good
And it's a really good restaurant I think
A little bit.. how do you say
The decorations weren't very beautiful
But the food is the most important
Now I just feel like i'm in China
Look at the people
They are playing Chinese traditional chess
We have just entered what might be one of the coolest streets
I have ever seen
In Chinatown
Or all of New York City
You ready?
We're in front of Joe's Shanghai right now
Which is one of the most famous
Steamed buns places
In all of New York City
And..there is usually a big crowd here
I'm hoping at about 3:30 on a Thursday
It's not going to be to crowded
But this is the spot
I was excited to take her to
I already have my target
You have a target what's your target?
The crab meat with pork meat soup dumplings
Their is many soup
So be careful
I'll give you one
Wahoo
This one for me
Now we'll put just a little bit of soup
On the spoon
In case.. okay so we have the sauce here
Please be careful
When you drink the soup
It's extremely hot
I don't want to burn my mouth
This an advanced technique
You're drink some of the soup first
It's a really good soup
You have to try
It's really good
Because their is a meat of crab there
And you can see..
All this is.. meat of crab
And the meat is pork
Okay
It's really good
You have to try.
I love the combination of the crab and the pork
It tastes so fresh
With that sauce that we put on
Such an excellent combination
And the soup to.
Even though a lot of it fell out
This got to be my favorite Chinese food period
I think this one.. is much better
Than the Chinese mainland one
Because.. a lot of people moved her 30 years ago
Or 20 years ago
They just kept..
Their skill
And they continued to keep improving
To keep the same level
In China
Their's a lot of new chefs
A new restaurant
After they opened
They don't realy care for the quality
Basically here we can eat better food than in China
The food in Joe's Shanghai was absolutely incredible
You've got to agree right?
Yeah, agreed.
100% she agrees. I agree that it's got to be one of your go to spots
When you're visiting Chinatown
And you don't have a lot of time
Hit that up
We're going to go to one more place really quick
Doyers Street right now
It's been nicknamed Bloody Angle
I was explaining it to her
That in the late 1800s.. into the early 1900s
A lot of the Chinese gangs had feuds here.
I was reading online that this street
In particuluar..had more murders
Than any street
In the entire United States
How do you like that fact?
Uhh.. Do you feel safe?
Do you feel safe?
Yeah with you of course
Ha ha ha
It's perfectly fine now of course
Very very safe around here
People here you can see the people over 50
They come here
Like 30 years ago
They keep their tradition
I would say.. Chinese people here
Are more traditional than on the Chinese Mainland
Alright special thanks to Sophie for being my guest.
You heard from her
She actually thought that
Chinatown here.. in someways is more traditional
Than in Mainland China
Today..
I think I have a new found appreciation for this neighborhood
I honestly have not spend that much time here.
Occasionally coming to get cheap food.
I want to explore it more now
I live pretty close. And I think this is one of those..
Hidden gem neighborhoods in New York
That a lot of people sort of.. overlook
Or only come to very quickly
Tell me in the comments what was your favorite thing.. that we did in this video
I'm curious
And make sure to subscribe
If you are new to this channel
We've got a lot more coming up from New York
In the next couple of weeks
Guys thank you so much for watching
Until next time
