Chelsea worry for Conte as 'fatigued' Christensen is sent back by Denmark

CHELSEA could have been dealt a huge blow after Andreas Christensen was sent home for being too tired and lacking fitness from international duty.

The defender has become one of the first names of Antonio Contes team-sheet this campaign.

Antonio Conte has a huge worry over defender Andreas Christensen.

Christensen joined up with the Denmark squad this week for their friendly clashes against Chile and Sweden ahead of this summers World Cup.

But the 21-year-old has been sent back to Stamford Bridge over concerns of fatigue.

Danish boss Age Hareide said: "Andreas Christensen has been sent home to London.

"We do not want to take any risks with him.

Denmark have sent the star back to Chelsea after deeming him too fatigued for international duty.

The Blues will now be sweating over his fitness as they prepare for a crunch few weeks.

"We have called up Peter Ankersen and Lasse Nielsen, so we are adequately covered in defence.

"I cannot say exactly what is wrong with Christensen, but it is a little fatigue.

"It's not serious, but it can be.

It is a bit frustrating because we would have liked to trial him in both central defence and as a defensive midfielder.".

Not only is the news bad for Christensen but it will have Conte worried too.

The Blues face a crunch month ahead as they aim to secure a top four place plus FA Cup success.

They tackle Tottenham, who are currently five points ahead of fifth-placed Chelsea, in their first game back after the international break.

Then later in April they face Southampton at Wembley in the cup semi-final.

Andreas Christensen will now miss Denmarks two friendly matches over the next week.

Antonio Conte is preparing his side to face Tottenham next weekend.

Christensen has played 36 matches for Contes men after being promoted to the first-team squad last summer.

The centre-back had previously impressed during a two-year loan spell with German side Borussia Monchengladbach.

The star has won 14 caps for his country and scored once.

And remember, you can claim a free £30 bet with Sun Bets when you sign up put a tenner on this weekends football here.

Players Chelsea, Palace, Everton and Huddersfield should sign this summer.

How is Eligibility for the 1.06% Stipend Determined? - Duration: 4:47.

Hi, I'm Shawn Holmes, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for

Mesa Public Schools. The Governor's Education Budget for 2017-18

provides only certain eligible teachers a 1.06 percent, one-time,

pay increase or stipend based on their earnings from the 2016-17 school year.

Principals, other administrators, and support staff are not eligible. So how is

eligibility for the site been determined? The Arizona Auditor General provided

specific instructions that determine who qualifies for the stipend and how much

money will be provided in Mesa Public Schools employees. First, the individual

must have taught at an Arizona school district or charter school in the

2016-17 school year. Second, the position the individual held last year and holds

this year must meet specific account code criteria. The Uniform System of

Financial Records for Arizona school districts, or USFR, mandates how every

school district in the state codes employees for compensation. Employees

eligible for the 1.06 % stipend were and continue to be employed in positions

that could be appropriately coded to function 1000, which is instruction. In a

nutshell, function 1000 covers compensation received for providing

direct academic instruction. That's typically a classroom teacher. Many other

instructional positions have different function codes per the USFR, including;

Student Advisors which are function 2120. Speech Pathologists and Audiologists

which are function 2150. And Occupational and Physical

Therapist which are function 2160. This means that even though these positions

impact students daily, they do not qualify as teachers according to the

Auditor General instructions for this stipend.

And the third factor that determines eligibility for the 1.06% stipend is

that the individual was and continues to be employed in a position that could be

appropriately coded to programs in the ranges 100 through 630. Program codes

indicate the area of education. For example, program 100 is regular education

and 200 is special education. Both qualify for the stipend, however, program

700 is adult education which does not qualify. So what if you are a classroom

teacher who also performs other paid duties with different function or

program codes. Meet Dan. Dan is a high school science department chair who also

coaches basketball and tutors after school during the offseason. Now, let's

look at his compensation. The .2 FTE or Full-Time Equivalent portion, of Dan's

contract that is assigned to his duties as department chair, is not coded a

functional 1000 and therefore would not qualify. However, the remaining .8

FTE of Dan's contract and all the compensation he receives for his

coaching and tutoring is coded to function 1000 and therefore does qualify

and count toward the calculation of his stipend. Let's add some dollars to our

example. Last year Dan earned $50,000 as a teacher and department chair. $5,000 as

a coach. And $2,000 as a tutor. Making his total income $57,000.

20 percent of Dan's $50,000 salary, or $10,000, is ineligible because he earned

that as a department chair. The remaining $40,000 plus the

$5,000 coaching extra factor pay and the $2,000 tutoring

supplemental pay are eligible. Bringing his total eligible income to $47,000. His

1.06 percent stipend would be four $498.20.

Please see the personalized memorandum you were provided that

includes your total eligible and ineligible income and projected stipend. It

also includes a list of district positions that are deemed eligible or

ineligible. If you would like to review the account codes associated with your

position, please see your principal or director. As a reminder, stipend

eligibility is determined by the Arizona Auditor General and not Mesa Public

Schools administration. To learn more about how the office of the Auditor

General codes education funding, visit their website azauditor.gov. Thank you

for your dedication to the students of Mesa Public Schools. We appreciate each

and every one of you.

What is he saying?(69) (Listening Practice) [ ForB English Lesson ] - Duration: 2:15.

Hello everyone and welcome back to ForB's English lesson video.

My name is Richard and today I'm going to say something three times

and I'd like you to guess what I'm saying.

Are you ready?

Button it.

Button it.

Button it.

Could catch that?

Alright.

Let's try that again but this time with a hint.

Button it.

Button it.

Button it.

Did you get it?

Alright.

Let's try that again but this time a little bit slower.

You ready?

Button it.

Button it.

Button it.

Did you catch that?

Alright, the answer is "Button it."

"Button it" means when you want someone to keep quiet or stay quiet.

So when you button your shirt or your sweater like this, you do the same with your lips of your mouth.

So you want them to button it.

Button their mouth to stay quiet.

Alright?

So let's try practicing that together.

So please repeat after me.

First slowly, then a little bit faster.

Are you ready?

Button it.

Good.

Now a little bit faster.

Button it.

Good.

And even faster than that.

Button it.

Good.

Now let's try that three times quickly.

Please repeat after me.

Button it.

Button it.

Button it.

Great.

So now you know what "Button it" means and how to pronounce it.

So the next time a friend of yours is being too loud, you want them to be quiet, you say "Button it."

Alright?

My name is Richard.

Remember to please click like, share, and subscribe and I'll catch you next time.
