EVELYN MARTINEZ: When we show people that we love them
genuinely, that we can go all the way down for them, wherever
they go, no matter if they have committed sin, we have to there
to be able to restore them and lift them up.
(Singing) I know my God has made the way for
me. I know my God has made the way for me.
ANNOUNCER: Join Kenneth Copeland today on the Believer's
Voice of Victory as he searches the scriptures to show that you
have been redeemed from the curse. Live free
from sin, poverty, and sickness as you walk
in "the blessing." Here's Kenneth.
KENNETH: Hello, everybody. Welcome to Friday's
edition of the Believer's Voice of Victory broadcast. Father,
thank You so much. We praise You and honor You today, oh, glory
to God, for the Holy Ghost and fire, ha-ha-ha, the fire of the
Gospel and the fire of Your Word and the thrill that we have,
Lord Jesus, just being connected to You and to Your love and to
You. And that--whoa. Glory to God. Thank You for helping us on
this broadcast today. We pray it in Jesus' name. Amen. We're
talking about the healings of Jesus. Now, I want to remind you
once again, Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday,
today, and forever." If He ever healed anybody, He'll heal you.
Now, it's just--that's just the way He is. That's what He is.
That is the perfect will of God. If you missed Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday, get online, go back there, and watch
them and get it. It is God's perfect will for you to be born
again, baptized in the Holy Ghost, speaking with other
tongues, to be redeemed from sickness, disease, weakness,
pain, debt. You need to be prospering financially. That's
part of the Gospel. Find it out for yourself. We've been
redeemed from the curse, and the curse is threefold: Spiritual
death, sickness, and poverty. You've been redeemed from all
three by the love of God, Jesus Himself. Isn't that wonderful?
Glory to God. Now then, now, the reason I said that, that He is
Lord--I mean, that He's the same yesterday, today, and forever,
as we go through these things, I want you to remember this. You
know, in I, John it says over and over that God is love, God
is love. Jesus is the Son of love. Hallelujah. It is love
that's doing these things. It's love. Jesus is love, and He's
moved by compassion, who is God, who is love. Hallelujah. Very
important. Now, today we're going to--we talked about the
leper. Jesus said--he said, "I know you can if you will." And
Jesus settled it forever for all men, for all time. He said, "I
will," and He touched him and said, "Be clean." Hallelujah.
That settled it forever. He said it, and that settled it. He's
the same yesterday, today, and forever. And James, the 1st
chapter, 17th verse said that "God the Father--all good stuff
comes down from God the Father, and in him there's no
variableness of changing, no shadow of turning." There's no
way. He never changes. He is love. Amen. Excuse me. Now,
we--we've seen Jesus--we started this on Monday. When--in the 5th
chapter of Mark, "They came to the other side of the sea,
country of the Gadarenes." Now, that--and we dealt with the
madman of Gadara. That was over across the lake from Capernaum
which was Jesus' home. His place where He lived and His
headquarters were there in Capernaum. And all the
scriptures are there on Monday. So now--and He landed. Jairus
came up to Him and fell at His feet. He's on His way to Jairus'
house, which is in the same vicinity of His own home there.
And we proved all that Monday. Wonderful stuff. It's just
glorious. Now, I want you to see the woman that received her
healing on her own faith. You can do the same thing. She
received her healing without anybody laying hands on her.
Hey, laying hands on someone for healing is not only scriptural,
it's wonderful. Jesus did--He did more teaching and more
laying on of hands than anything else. This woman, however,
received her healing on her faith with--and on her own
faith. Now--now, I want you to watch this. 25th verse, "A
certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, had
suffered many things of many physicians, had spent all that
she had--" So now, she was not only sick for a long, long time,
but now--and suffered at the hands of physicians, but now she
spent all she had. She--now she's broke, I expect destitute
because now--I mean, ha, she's in deep trouble. "--was nothing
bettered, but rather grew worse, when she had heard of Jesus,
came in the press behind, and touched his garment." She did
not intend to be noticed. She is in--she's in a bad way here.
She's been a woman with an issue of blood, which, according to
Levitical law, she's not supposed to be out in public.
But she just stepped out there on her faith. She knew she had
an issue of blood. She knew she wasn't supposed to be out there,
but at the same time, she believed it was going to be over
the minute she touched His garment. But she didn't plan on
anybody knowing it. "For she said--" Now, you remember what
Jesus said in Mark 11:22-23, "Have the faith of God," in the
22nd verse, or, "Have the God kind of faith." This is the way
the faith of God works, the way your faith works. Your faith is
from God. "Whosoever--" Well, "whosoever" means me. "Whosoever
shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, be thou cast into
the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe--"
Believe what? Jesus. "--believe that those things," or those
words, "which you say shall come to pass; and he shall have--you
shall have whatsoever you say." That's the way faith works.
That's the way God created the heavens and the earth. He
believed in His heart, and He said it with His mouth, and it
came to pass. And you have a measure of that same faith that
created the heaven and the earth inside you right now if Jesus is
your Lord and Savior. Amen. So, now, "And straightway the
fountain of her blood dried up; she felt in her body that she
was healed of that plague." Now, I want you to notice something
here. People want to feel the healing and then believe it. It
does not work that way. That's like walking up to a--one of
those old stoves and say, "You give me some heat, and I'll put
in some wood." No. It works--it's the other way
around. You put in the wood, and then it--then the stove will
produce the heat. She believed--now, notice, she said.
This is her faith talking. Whatever you're saying is your
faith talking. If you're saying doubt and unbelief, that's your
fear talking, which is a form of faith. It's the opposite of the
faith of God. Her faith was talking. "If I touch His
clothes, I'll be whole." Then she acted on it. She went out
there and did it. She touched it. She felt that she was healed
in her body. She got out there, and she touched that garment,
and that power flowed in her. (Grunts) And she felt it. I
don't know what she felt. That--I'm fully convinced
because of--well, I won't go into all of it right now. I
don't have time. But that warm glow and heat of God's power and
particularly if she was bleeding at the time, it just stopped.
And something--whoa. Something happened in her. She knew. She
knew. She also knew in her spirit. She just knew that she
knew that she knew. Praise God. Now, notice it--watch it. "And
she felt in her body she was healed of that plague. Jesus,
immediately knowing in himself that--" the King James version,
"virtue," which is, really, a bad translation. The word is
"dunamis," the Greek word "dunamis." The word "dynamite"
comes from that word. It's power. It's might. Amen.
How--then another place in the 10th chapter of the book of
Acts, "How God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy
Ghost and power," dunamis. "--knowing that power had gone
out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched
my clothes? His disciples said to him, Thou seest the multitude
thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? He looked around
about to see her that had done this thing." Let me remind you.
Who looked? Love. Ha-ha-ha. What power was that? The power of
love Himself. "But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing
what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told
him all the truth." She told Him she'd been this way all these
years. She told Him she'd been to those doctors. She told Him
all those things that had happened. Don't you know she was
thrilled? And listen, "He said unto her, Daughter, your faith
hath made you whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy
plague." Two very important words here, two very strong,
important words: Faith and power. Amen. Faith and power.
Now, her faith made her whole because faith connected to the
anointing. He said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because
He's anointed me to heal." That--her faith--that dunamis
power, the mighty power of God Himself wasn't flowing. Jesus
didn't cause it to flow. No, no. She did. She made the touch of
faith. The--He--she was aware--are you getting this now?
She was aware of that power coming within her. And she knew
in her body she was healed. He was aware of that power flowing
out. When faith comes together with the anointing of God,
something takes place. And let me tell you something else. Now,
love is walking down the street, right? We know that. Let me tell
you somebody else that was walking down the street, the
great physician. Isn't He? Isn't He the great physician? Oh, yes.
Amen. Well, when you make connection with the great
physician, He--He immediately--ha-ha-ha, He
immediately enters into His healing mode. Ha-ha-ha. Glory to
God. Oh, hallelujah. Isn't that just--oh. Thank You, Jesus.
Praise God. Healings are going on all--all over everywhere in
the sound of my voice right now. Thank You, Lord. Thank You.
Yeah, someone's daughter was just healed. You were thinking
about Jairus' daughter, and you got healed. And when Jesus said,
"Daughter, your faith has made you whole," then your faith went
out for your daughter, and your daughter is healed. Praise God.
Hallelujah. All kinds of things are happening. Stomachs are
being made well. Glory to God. Somebody's just had a tremendous
breakthrough financially. And if you'll just stay steady right
where you are and, like Jairus, when Jesus said, "Your little
daughter--" I mean, when the other guy said, "Your little
daughter is dead," Jesus said, "Stop the fear. Believe only."
You stop being afraid of what's been happening to you
financially. Amen. You corrected what God told you to do about
tithing, and, hey, He's working. He's working. Hallelujah. Just
be dancing around the room and just thanking God for what's
happening. Thank You, Lord Jesus. Praise You, Lord Jesus.
Now then, she heard of Jesus. What do you think she heard?
Huh? Well, it's obvious what she heard. It--she was hearing. She
heard enough that faith came. Faith cometh by hearing, and
hearing by the Word of God. Do you remember the man over in the
14th chapter of the book of Acts that heard Paul speak? He never
had walked from his mother's womb. The scripture said, "The
same heard Paul Pete--preach: Paul perceiving the man had
faith to be healed." How did he get faith? He got faith from
what he heard. He heard the Gospel. He heard the Word. This
woman had heard about Jesus. She heard about the healings. She
heard about the miracles. She heard--you know, I don't know
what all she heard. Maybe she heard about that woman that got
caught in adultery, and Jesus said, you know, "I don't condemn
you, sweetheart. Go and sin no more. I don't condemn you."
Maybe she heard that. "Hey, hey, He's not going to be down on me
if I get out here in public." Hey, see, love is happening.
Love is happening. "Oh, oh, He heals people. He loves people."
I don't care what's wrong with you. He never condemns you.
Ha-ha-ha. Amen. The only people He ever says anything ugly to is
them Pharisees. Ha-ha-ha. Well, He didn't--He didn't hate the
Pharisees. He spoke to them sternly because they were
hypocrites. Now, because of His stern teachers, many, many, many
believed on Him. Many believed on Him. Nicodemus believed on
Him. Hallelujah. Praise God. He never spoke an unlovely word in
His life. But love sometimes is strong. "Stop the fear!" He said
to Jairus. Amen. Oh, don't you love it? The--the--I wanted you
to see, that man that Paul preached said they--he and
Barnabas preached the Gospel. Did you ever think about, "Well,
I wonder what he preached." Well, what did he write? He
wrote to the Galatians that we're redeemed from the curse.
Do you think he just came up with that while, "Oh, I'm going
to write a letter about being redeemed from the curse." No.
See, the apostle Paul was an extremely well-educated man in
the scriptures, and the whole Old Testament, he knew it
forwards, backwards, in and out. He was a Pharisee, and he
learned--sat at the feet of Gamaliel. He knew these things.
He had seen that he's redeemed from the curse. He knew all of
that. Hey, don't you expect he's preaching something like that?
Well, you know he was. Hey, here's what I want you to see.
You can't get faith if somebody's standing up there
preaching, "Well, you know, healing might be for you and
might not be for you. We don't know." Ain't nobody gets faith
for healing with that. Nobody gets faith by hearing that
healing's passed away. You know, I'm just--I don't know whether
I'm smart enough or dumb enough, but I'm--when I first got into
this, before I even knew anything about the Word, I
thought, "Well, if He's going to heal--if He's going to heal
anybody, He's going to heal me because I--" But most people, 99
percent of them are not that way. If they think He doesn't
heal everybody, they think, "Well, I'm--you know, I'm one
that He doesn't." No, I'm one that He does. Glory to God.
Pray--I think it's probably because my mother was so
thrilled with Jesus that I learned--I learned early on
that--you know, that Jesus loved me. (Singing) "Jesus loves me,
this I know." I heard that, Brother, when I was a little
old--little--little baby. Hallelujah. And I believe it
more today than I ever have in my life. This is love talking.
This is love Himself. People--you remember when He
went to Cornelius' house and the angel told Cornelius, "Send for
Peter because he will tell thee words by which you and your
house shall be saved." Words. Faith cometh by hearing, and
hearing by words, these words. Faith cometh by hearing, hearing
by the Word of God. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing and
hearing and hearing and hearing. People are healed by hearing
words. The Bible said they went--the crowds went to Jesus
to hear Him and to be healed. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Get in
the Word, stay in the Word, receive the Word, and it'll make
you free, and it'll do it today. I'll be back in just a moment.
MARCUS MARTINEZ: My name is Marcus Martinez. This is Evelyn
Martinez. I'm originally from Trinidad and Tobago, and my wife
is from Dominican Republic. And we pastor here in Toronto,
Canada. We believe in a multicultural environment, so
our ministry is based upon equipping the multitudes of
people from different ethnic backgrounds, train them to go
out and fulfill their God-given destiny, because we believe
everybody have a destiny. EVELYN MARTINEZ: If we want to be
impactful into the world, we have to show the love of God. We
were with ministers that came to visit the city of Toronto, and
as we were finishing the last day, we took them to have
dinner. So we finished like around 12:30 in the night--in
the--in the morning. So I go to my car, and I see seven missing
calls on my phone. And I called this lady back, and she said to
me, "I just received a text message of a young lady, 25
years old, that have suicidal thoughts. She's just born again
two weeks ago." And we went to her house, and we knocked on the
door. We didn't find her there. And we were able to keep
reaching out to her because she--she didn't reply back to
texts that we were sending her. So we thought that she
already--she--something happened. So we prayed, we took
authority. And when we left the place--we stayed outside of her
apartment until 3:00, almost 4:00 in the morning. So finally,
the next day, I got to meet with her, and I got her to come to
the church, and I met with her. And I said--she was opening up
to me her personal life. Finally, I shared with her, and
I told her, "I was there last night at 4:00 because we were
worried about you, because we truly, truly love you because
you are our sister." And she just tear down. She cried for 30
minutes. When she put herself together, she just went--stand
up from the chair, and just--she give me a big hug. That young
lady I'm talking about a month ago, she give up her whole life,
all the things that she was doing wrong in her past and
everything. She was--she was able to come and say, "You know,
I'm going to make my life right with God." So that's the true
love. When we show people that we love them genuinely, that we
can go all the way down for them wherever they go, no matter if
they have committed sin, we have to be there to be able to
restore them and lift them up. MARCUS: Letting the love of God
that's on the inside of you, that has been poured onto your
heart by the Holy Spirit, let that come forth. Let that
manifest. And you were built--every one of us were
built to be joyful, to be friendly. It takes work to be
angry. It takes work to be selfish. It takes work to be
prideful. But there's such freedom when you can just be
humble and just be yourself. It is--it radiates Christ, it--it
causes people to want to be around you. And when I got born
again, I thanked God for Brother Copeland because one of the
major things we learned from him is that your faith worketh by
love. And we know that love is very important, but we also know
relationship is very important. And we need to stay together in
unity. And we need to keep the bond of unity, as Ephesians
says. So we make it a hallmark decision to fellowship and to
build true Christ-like, or tantric, relationship that I can
say, "I am my brothers' keepers." You know,
in the time that we're living in, we need to have
one another, and have each other's back.
ANNOUNCER: We hope you enjoyed today's teaching from Kenneth
Copeland Ministries. And remember Jesus is Lord.
