Police Confirm Suspect in Austin Bombings Is Dead - Duration: 0:45.
A suspect linked to a series of deadly package bombs in Austin, Texas, is dead.
Police were reportedly able to find him using cellphone triangulation and surveillance footage
taken at an Austin FedEx.
The Austin Police Department confirmed officers were pursuing the suspect along an interstate
when he detonated a bomb inside his vehicle and was killed.
Police said he was a 24-year-old white male, and multiple news outlets have identified
the suspect as Mark Anthony Conditt.
Investigators confirmed the package bombs found at two separate FedEx facilities in
Texas on Tuesday were connected to four other explosions that killed two people and injured
five others in Austin earlier this month.
Police warned the public to remain vigilant in case the suspect delivered more bombs before
he died.

Rookie Sensation Donovan Mitchell Is Taking The NBA By Storm 🔥 - Duration: 2:11.
I never expected to be here.
Man, I'm making these shots that like, you know, a year ago, I wouldn't even be close to making.
Bigs like Anthony Davis, finishing around him.
DeMarcus Cousins.
I just amaze myself sometimes the way I finish.
The fact that I am surprising myself allows me to keep learning and be willing to learn.
It's always been my thing just staying humble and staying locked in.
The minute you let all this get to your head is the minute that everything stops.
I'm as good as I allow myself to be.
It's a matter of how much I want to work.
Going out there every day, continuing to work, finding ways to get better.
You look at guys like Kobe.
Even Jordan, you know, every year was like, man there's something else he's improving on.
And I think that's the biggest thing, just being able to consistently improve.
December 1st was when I really was just like, man I can do this.
That's when I had 41.
I was like, you know what, I can play at this level and compete.
We're down the whole game, and we came back and won.
And it wasn't just the fact that I had 41, it was the fact that we could do this as a team.
We could be cohesive and work together.
I could care less.
My career won't be defined, in my opinion, if I win the Rookie of the Year Award,
because there are Rookie of the Years that aren't in the League.
The biggest thing right now is we're making a playoff push.
I don't want to be at home watching it, saying, man we should be here.
Obviously we're playing for a championship, but we're playing for the state of Utah as well.
The passion that not just the team has, but the entire state has for us.
You understand the impact of Karl Malone, John Stockton.
These guys have their own street, you know, in Utah.
When you have your own street in a city, it's a huge impact and it's a testament to how
much the fans love and respect you, and the tradition that they have here is a great one.

Judge Rules That Scott Pruitt Is Bad For Your Health - Duration: 2:54.
Well, in a ruling that environmentalists are calling a victory for everyone who breathes,
a federal district court ruled that the EPA is violating the law by not implementing crucial
smog protection guidelines, mandated under the Clear Air Act.
Well, okay, this story is much like the one that we talked about last week where you had
the FCC not doing their job.
They were sued.
The suit is called, it's a mandamus.
The mandamus suit is saying you have been given certain responsibilities, EPA.
Now the EPA, of course, is completely, utterly dysfunctional already, without any help from
this administration.
I'm right now working on the Monsanto Case.
For example, Roundup Monsanto is killing people all over this country with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
EPA, I wish I could have them in court as one of the defendants, because they actually
made that happen.
It's not that they're a bunch of bongo heads.
It is that they're participating in these schemes, Monsanto, DuPont, that I just finished
last year up in the Ohio River Valley, I should have been able to sue the EPA.
I can't sue the EPA, but what I can do is I can file a lawsuit that mandates that they
do their job.
It's called a writ of prohibition, where you're saying, "Entity, EPA, you're doing something
that you're not allowed to do."
It's called a writ of prohibition or mandamus, do what you've been ordered to do.
What's your take on this story?
Well, exactly what the judge said.
The court said from the federal district court for the Northern District of California.
It's called a non-discretionary duty, meaning that Pruitt has to identify the cities that
are violating the Clear Act.
It's the Bay Area, it's Central Valley, it's Los Angeles, it's New York, and he's not reporting.
If you report those cities, then those cities all new factories have to implement state
of the art, best clean air scrubbing, the most efficient manufacturing facilities, all
new.
When you put them on that list, then they have to facilitate.
Now, is this a big shock?
You put Pruitt in, who as the former AG of Oklahoma-
He wanted to close the EPA there.
Now is this a big shock that he's not following the rule of law?
Absolutely not.
Well, anyway the point is, the only way to fight back is individual organizations, individuals
citizens, have got to start filing writs of prohibition and writs of mandamus to make
these organizations do what they're supposed to do.
What it does is it creates publicity sometimes.
I mean, trying to get the corporate media to even cover these stories is almost impossible,
but sometimes you will get coverage.

This Is How I Got Rid Of My Excessive Armpit Sweat | Refinery29 - Duration: 5:32.
Hi everyone, I'm Sydney and I have Hyperhidrosis.
Hyperhidrosis is pretty much just someone that has excessive sweat in a given area of their body.
So I sweat pretty much all the time but it gets way worse when I'm nervous and I'm
super nervous to be on camera right now.
So I'm actually extremely worried that it's going to be disgusting in a couple minutes.
It's really bad.
Yeah.
It definitely impacts my self-esteem.
I find it really embarrassing honestly.
I'm super excited to be getting the MiraDry treatment and dealing with my sweat situation forever.
I'm willing to do anything to not have to deal with this anymore.
Hi my name is Dr. Robert Anolik and I am board certified dermatologist here in New York City
at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York.
So the MiraDry procedure is an exciting new approach to treat unwanted sweating in the armpits.
It uses energy actually in the form of microwave which sounds wild but we can safely apply
that to the skin's surface to reduce the number of sweat glands in the what we call
"axilla," or commonly known as the armpit.
Hi, I am walking to the appointment right now and I'm really excited.
I'm super excited to talk to the doctor and feel more comfortable and then be done with sweat forever.
Okay, I was just given my very pretty gown to put on and I'm about to go into my procedure.
I'm still really excited, I know that we're starting with some numbing and then we'll
actually do the needles so I'm still not really nervous.
I guess this is kind of a fun way to do it with a bunch of people around so I will talk
to you guys on the other side.
So we schedule patients to come in and they're comfortably positioned on the exam table.
We mark out the area where the majority of the sweating occurs which is typically where
the hair is growing.
We can easily map out the area and then inject lidocaine, which is a numbing medicine, to
make the procedure painless.
This is what we call the biotip.
So we'll apply it to the machine and we'll pass this over your skin surface.
We pass it many times over the area on one armpit and then we switch to the other.
When the treatment is done, the area typically feels still numb until later in the day where
it can start to become a bit sore and a little bit tender.
When I was going on job interviews I found that to be particularly bad.
I was just super nervous and I also had to wear a nice long sleeve tight button down shirt.
All I wanted to do was to go in and be the most confident version of myself,
which I couldn't do because I was dripping in sweat.
The effect of these treatments should be for many years.
MiraDry technology is right now only used in the underarm.
Of course we're exploring options for using it in other areas because we're curious.
It's not just used for sweat reduction, sometimes we use it to reduce hair as well.
Almost everybody who does this notices some reduction in hair under their arm after the treatment.
Women love that and men don't care.
So we're just about done.
You've done wonderfully.
I do expect, like we discussed, you'll have a little soreness, a little tenderness, just
for a few days under the arm.
Great job.
Thank you.
Congratulations.
Woo!
It's a very straightforward experience and the sweating should immediately become reduced.
So I am about 12 hours into post-procedure
and I'm in some pretty bad pain, but I know it's to be expected.
My armpits are super swollen.
I can feel that they're huge.
I don't even know how to describe it.
It feels like there's something in it.
They're also really hot to the touch but no sweat, so that's cool.
Day 2.
Post surgery.
I'm actually feeling okay.
I didn't sleep so great last night because I was in a lot of pain.
This one is doing pretty well.
You can see all the shots that were put in for the numbing, that's what all the red
marks are but other than that it's kind of fine.
This is another story.
This one's kinda bad.
So again the red dots but then there's like some bruising.
This one is really swollen.
Okay so it has now been about three days with my new armpits and I have a job interview today.
This shirt is literally what my nightmares are made of.
Once it gets a little bit wet it kind of travels, so I'm trying it again.
But over the past few days I haven't had any issues at all.
I haven't been sweating at all, which is wild.
This is after running today.
Nothing!
Either side.
So that's pretty awesome.
So it has now been a little over a week since getting my procedure done.
I can't wait to go out for the first time and wear a shirt like this.
Something that's tight and has sleeves and not have to worry about enjoying the time
with my friends because I'm self-conscious about lifting up my arms.
I can do whatever I want just like everyone else, and I'll be fine and it really
feels like it has changed how I'm going to be able to go through my life day-to-day,
which is amazing.

'The Silent Killer': March is National Kidney Month - Duration: 1:58.
March is National Kidney Month, and most of us know that we have
two of them. But beyond that they go pretty unappreciated, until, that is, they
stop working. Kidney disease is called a "silent killer" as Tisha Guthrie learned,
you often don't know you have it until it's almost too late.
Tisha Guthrie teaches a mean Zumba class. You would never guess she lives
with kidney disease. In fact she had no idea until she went into acute kidney
failure. So many people are walking around, one, at risk and, two, living with
kidney disease unbeknownst to them. As a child tissue developed Type 1 Diabetes.
In 2004, it caused her to become legally blind. And that same year, it caused her
kidneys to fail. Months of dialysis led to a kidney transplant. As you see, she's
recovered.
Zumba is fun, but kidney disease is serious business. Thirty million Americans
have it and one in three are at risk of developing kidney disease. The risk
factors are diabetes, high blood pressure, and family history. And Dr. Belinda Lee
wants you to know that you could be walking around with kidney disease and
simply not know it. There really aren't any symptoms, and so what's really
important is to see your primary care doctor every year, have your blood
pressure checked, have your kidney function checked.
As for treatments, use Tisha as a model. Eat well, exercise, live well. Love your
kidney. Just show it as much love as possible. When you get up in the morning,
you know, treat it to a wonderful glass of water.
Just love your kidney. It works so hard for you. It really does. It loves you, so love it.
You are a kidney advocate. Whooo! There are approximately ninety three
hundred Marylanders on dialysis right now. Now back to you.

How is Kittitas County a fire environment? - Duration: 7:50.
( Fire Management Officer, Cle Elum Ranger District, Mike Starkovich): As I hiked up there, I'd hope that we don't get one here
this year, well nature goes where it wants.
The day Jolly Mountain fire started there was a chance of lightning predicted.
Conditions were really dry despite the good winter we had from last year, there were sections
of the forest up there that had at least 50% standing dead timber in it which is a pretty
big safety concern for ground firefighters.
So when the fire started, conditions were right for a fire if it got started to have
some pretty good opportunity to grow and it did.
(Gary Berndt): I moved to Kittitas County in about 1973.
Cle Elum and Roslyn were sleepy little towns of 2,000 and 1,000 people.
Basically it was a logging community, railroad community, the mines had closed and there
weren't a lot of jobs.
There was no growth and no economic opportunity in Upper Kittitas County.
When the state started to grow in population and the economics in the west side people
began to come over here to recreate.
Kittitas County is about 70% public land or quasi-public and it is a great playground
with four seasons.
Folks tend to migrate, first into second homes and then into permanent residences, so what
is not realized is that this is a fire environment.
It historically has had fires since time and memorium.
(Mike Starkovich): Everywhere in the west, fire had an ecological role it played.
In the Teanaway valley for example, we had photographic evidence of from the early part
of the 20th century that showed the fire scars, showed the fires that occurred up to that
point.
I think that was from the mid 1930's so you could see very strong evidence of wildfire
occurrence.
Over the last hundred years, the combination of a lot of industrial
forest land ownership in the area because of the high productivity of the forest combined
with 100 years of fire suppression, aggressive fire suppression, we found that many of these
pine stands are overstocked.
I don't think fire suppression is bad but the result of putting every fire out has set
up conditions where we have an overstock, which in real terms means an over crowded
stand.
In the last five years, there have been a number of wildfires.
The first one that probably everyone remembers well is the Taylor Bridge fire that was in
2012.
It was followed that same season by the Table Mountain Fire which was a huge fire north
of Ellensburg, north of the valley.
The following year was another fire on the eastern edge of the county, the Colockum Tarps
Fire that came down from Chelan County.
I think the year after that was the Snag Canyon Fire as another lighting strike on the north
side of the valley and so we've had a pretty continuous streak of wildfires for the last
few years.
Now we have a lot of people on the landscape that weren't naturally here, you know, over
a hundred years ago, so we need to get people used to thinking about how do they fit in
with the ecology of the area and that ecology would have included fires so people need to
be thinking on how am I adapted on my property for a fire coming thru and making that defensible
where firefighters can safely help the landowners out when there is a fire cause there will
be fires in this area.
You can't always expect to have a fire engine in your yard during a major fire.
You cannot do that.
There aren't enough and it's a matter of managing the risk.
We have to prioritize where we can protect and what we can protect with the resources
we have.
We have to make a tough choice about where we can actually be successful and walk away
from the places we can't.
When people say wildland, people think, you know they really think wild and not a lot
of or any home sites.
You know, it's the places that you go to hike or place that you go to camp and it is a long
ways out of town and it's really not.
The Wildland Urban Interface here in Northern Kittitas County includes all the communities
that are here.We are standing in it right now and you know we are in Cle Elum.
(WFFA Kittitas Chapter President, Phil Hess): The forest is in a continual state of change.
It may look like its not changing from day to day or even from year to year, but it is changing.
The vegetation is changing, you know the shrub and herbaceous layer is changing and the trees
are growing and they're adding diameter and adding height so its a continual state of
change so what we try to tell them [small forest landowners] with a forest stewardship
plan is that they need to keep track of that change and influence that change in order
to create and maintain a healthy forest.
Washington State University Extension Forestry [http://forestry.wsu.edu/] has a program called
"Coached Stewardship Planning", the DNR [Washington State Department of Natural Resources] has
a program where they will cost-share a Forest Stewardship Plan [https://www.dnr.wa.gov/sflo]
So the Forest Stewardship Plan is kinda their handbook for taking care of their property.
We need all the help we can get from the landowners to have previously mitigated fuels to make
it easier and less work for the firefighters and they can deal with the flames and not
dealing with the extra fuel that's out on the landscape.
We work with Homeowner's Associations to raise their level of their awareness and become
a Fire Adapted Community [http://www.fireadaptedwashington.org/].
They recognize the need for access, for initial response crews, they need to learn that they
need to manage their vegetation, so that in the event of fire that the fire is not a high
intensity fire but it's a low intensity fire.
Then it becomes easier for the first responders to deal with it, either to manage it or put
it out.
So at the Conservation District, we primarily work with private landowners so any private
landowner in the County can contact us.
We have technical resources, we have staff that know about firewise and fuels reduction
techniques.
We search out grant funding sources for the landowners so we can help them with some of
the costs of doing these projects.
It's really our job to work with those private landowners on any of their resource
concerns and here its really about forest health and fuels reduction and firewise principles.
The one thing that Washington State, East slopes of the Cascades can predict annually
is a wildfire.
We don't know where, we don't know when but we know there will be one.

Last male Northern White Rhino, Sudan, is dead - Duration: 2:47.
Last male Northern White Rhino, Sudan, is dead
The world's last male Northern White Rhino Sudan, passed on at Ol Pejeta Conservancy on Monday, March 19, after suffering old-age complications. The vagaries of aging led to degenerative changes in muscles and bones which combined with extensive skin wounds.
His condition worsened significantly and he was unable to stand up. The veterinary team from the Dvůr Králové Zoo, Ol Pejeta and Kenya Wildlife Service made the decision to euthanize him. "We at Ol Pejeta are all saddened by Sudan's death.
He was a great ambassador for his species and will be remembered for the work he did to raise awareness globally of the plight facing not only rhinos but also the many thousands of other species facing extinction as a result of unsustainable human activity,.
One day, his demise will hopefully be seen as a seminal moment for conservationists world wide," said Richard Vigne, Ol Pejeta's CEO.
Africans and Kenyans particularly have continued to mourn the 45-year-old rhino whose loss is a big blow to wildlife conservation efforts in the country and world at large.
In an effort to protect his species and find Sudan a mate, conservationists opened him an account on dating site Tinder with his complete profile.
The campaign which was launched on Tuesday April 25, was a partnership between Tinder and the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Central Kenya to help raise KSh 90 million needed to protect the Northern White Rhino from extinction.
Sudan will be remembered for his unusually memorable life. In the 1970s, he escaped extinction of his kind in the wild when he was moved to Dvůr Králové Zoo in the Czech Republic before coming to Kenya.
Doctors attending to him managed to collect his genetic materials which they hope will enhance reproduction of the Northern White Rhinos through advanced cellular technology.
His death left only two of his kind on the planet, his daughter, Najin and grand daughter, Fatu both of whom are surviving at Ol Pejeta.

Clippers Guard Austin Rivers Is Going To Make You Respect Him - Duration: 1:57.
No matter what people say, whether it's bumps, bruises,
that's part of my motivation to just
keep pushing, proving people wrong.
Austin Rivers, he's a topic of conversation.
He's someone people have opinions on, positive,
negative, whatever it is, but he's somebody
that I think is somewhat misunderstood and we wanted
to give him a platform to kind of
tell his story.
Being on the cover of any magazine is a huge deal and
it's our chance to really honor that
legacy, but it also allows those guys to show who they
are.
There's been hall of fame players on the this magazine
and for you guys to be bringing this
back and for me to be the first player on this again, I'm
truly humbled.
The concept's dope.
I can't wait for people to see it.
I like it because it's not the typical magazine, where I'm
in a jersey and I'm just posing.
There's much more to it than that.
I like magazines that kind of resemble somebody.
That's what I kind of like about this shoot, just the stuff
that people are going to see
on my face and everything kind of resembles all of the
constant negativity, scrutiny,
the past injuries, bumps, bruises; everything that goes
into the journey of not only a typical
NBA player, but myself especially.
I think it really shows who I am.
How do you deal with that negativity?
I like who I am.
If I didn't like who I am, then maybe those comments
would bother me, honestly.
I'm comfortable in my skin.
I have people that genuinely care about me.
So, you know, I have things that are more valuable than
my Instagram feed and followers
and hatred that outweighs all that.
Just to be on this now and how we're shooting this, it's
pretty cool.
It's something I'm going to remember for the rest of my
life.

What in the World is Going On? - Terence McKenna - Duration: 7:27.
These are really conversations around and about one subject only which is
What in the world is going on?
What is going on?
I mean what does it mean to be?
Incarnate in a human body at the end of the 20th century in a squirrely culture like this
Trying to make sense of your your heritage your opportunities
the contents of the culture the contents of your own mind
He is it possible to have an overarching viewpoint. That is not somehow
canned or cultish or
self limited in its
approach in other words is it possible to cultivate an open mind and
sanity in the kind of
society and psychological environment
That we all share, and it grows daily and weekly as you know harder to do this
weirder to integrate more on your plate
to
Assimilate, and I certainly don't have final or even merely final answers. I think it all lies in
posing the questions in a certain way in
Feeling the data in a certain way and one of the things I try to convince people is it's not
necessary to achieve closure
With this stuff and in fact any ideological
Or belief system that offers closure meaning final answers is sure to be wrong
Sure to be self-limiting sure to be
Inadequate to the facts so one of the ideas I'd like to put out is that?
An amazing strange in this man, but perhaps not
the idea that
Ideology is not our friend
it is not a matter of choosing from a smartest board of ideologies and
Rejecting the flawed the self contradictory and this over simple in
favor of the un-- flawed the complex enough
Where is it written in adamantine that semi carnivorous monkeys can or should be?

And one of the more prideful illusions of human culture that a final understanding
Is possible in the first place better? I think to try and frame?
questions which can do it
questions which cannot doer and leave off
Searching for answers because answers are like operating systems. They're being upgraded
Faster than you can keep up with it
I want to mention just a couple of things that are happening to sort of set the context. I mean this is the stuff I
worry about or think about
In the last 10 days if you have not been paying attention
Because the news has certainly been offering many different matters to claim your attention
But in the last 10 days a new solar system a new star system with three giant planets
has been
Discovered so this is a multiple planet solar system in epsilon
Andromeda
244 light-years away
What does that mean to us? Well it means that solar systems like our own are probably as as?
Common as popcorn on a theater floor
No reason to think not in fact right now
We know of 20 planets outside the solar system
Twice as many as we know inside the solar system, so we're living in a different world than
Everybody was living in even just five years ago
Science is lifting veils and opening doorways on a universe so vast so
strange so counterintuitive
That it's literally all you can do to keep up
Here's another factoid there are now more square miles of territory in virtual reality
Than the entire surface of the earth
Virtual reality is now larger than
This planet I don't know if you spend much time in VR. I spend a little time there
I was at looking at alpha world before I left, Hawaii
the opening screen is from
25,000 feet above out the world the entire thing cannot fit on the screen
Denver would fit on screen at an altitude of 25,000 feeds you could see the outline suburbs
But alpha world won't fit
That's how large a single world of virtual reality is and there are hundreds if not thousands
Being built being expanded being edited and changed as we speak
We're now just a
hair's breadth away from there being six billion people on this planet
Again, I checked on the internet before I left for something like a hundred million short so by the time I get back to Hawaii
In a month. We'll be over the six billion
mark
Then just to touch on a few things
The strongest hallasan engine known to science is legal free and easily grown totally
Limited in its distribution its accessibility are talking about alpha starvin Noreen now
quantum teleportation
has been achieved and is moving out of the laboratory and
Probably in the next half dozen years will be the basis of an entirely new kind of
computational machine with greater computing capacity than all the computers presently
Operating in North America, and had I have more time. I could just keep going with this
laundry list of shockers
The human world is exploding at the seams
human creativity and the
implementation of human invention and technologies is now at an
Accelerated fever pitch like nothing ever before seen in the history of the world well
Where is it leaving and how does one?
Integrate this stuff into one's own life. What does it mean about the experience of being human?

How safe is your food's packaging - Duration: 4:33.
How safe is your foods packaging
by: Jessica Dolores
If youre like most people, you load cereal boxes, loaves of bread in transparent plastic
and other must-haves into the grocery cart without knowing that they passed through a
lot of hands before they reached the shelves.
Little do you know that the thin plastic wrap which is supposed to protect the fresh tomatoes
you bought in the grocery can harbor nonintentionally added substances (NIAS), like reaction by-products
and impurities.
A chemical analysis of plastic samples that came into contact with food showed that indeed,
unidentified compounds were part of the samples.
The research team found proof that plastic food wraps, bags, clamshell containers and
others drain substances that can harm peoples health at very low levels.
An online article in Choice.com supports this observation.
It explains that plastic can have small molecules that can make its way into the food it ironically
seeks to protect.
The article adds that plastic may contain polycarbonate, which in turn can release bisphenol
A (BPA).
Experts believe BPA can lead to serious health issues.
Plastic in cling wrap and jar seals also contains PVC, which has harmful ingredients includes
chlorine.
Lest you shift into panic mode, however, you should know that the experts themselves admit
the health risks are very low.
So the scientific community has not conducted risk assessment tests on these plastic wraps
 yet.
This has made the research team led by Martin Scheringer and Jane Muncke to suggest conducting
evaluations on possible low-dose effects of chemicals that come into contact with food
or are used in making materials that come into contact with food.
The team also wants toxicological assessments of materials for any substance that may not
have been intentionally added to food contact materials.
Food safety 101 While solids studies on the safety of plastic
food wraps have yet to be done, it is the consumers responsibility to make sure the
food they bring to the table is safe.
Heres what they can do:
Poison-carrying germs can thrive in your kitchen without you knowing it.
Wash your cutting boards and utensils.
Wipe countertops with hot, soapy water.
Wash hands for 20 seconds with soap and water before, during and after whipping up a meal

[CC] Is Black Panther a Ripoff of War for the Planet of the Apes? | Black Panther Movie Review - Duration: 4:28.
Hi my name is Heather and you're watching Heather-Reset. Today I'm going
to be reviewing the movie Black Panther. I saw this with my husband
earlier this month and it was the first one that we got to
see this year so we were pretty excited to go check it out. We really loved the
entire Avengers franchise and because Black Panther is going to appear in
that, that was our number one reason for going and seeing the movie so that we
would know what was going on whenever we watched Infinity Wars. When it came out,
I have seen so much hype surrounding Black Panther that I had these huge
expectations though at the same time I was conscious enough to know that a lot
of the hype was because of the cast and not really because of the plot of the
movie. If you don't know, Black Panther has a mostly black cast which is pretty
cool, but I don't think that just because something has a diverse cast
that it's an awesome film. The plot didn't really have much going on. A lot
of the scenes reminded me of War for the Planet of the Apes. It's the last one that came out.
They literally had a fighting scene on top of a waterfall which was also in
War for the Planet of the Apes and it honestly had a lot more plot going
on than Black Panther. So basically the black panther they live in this area in
Africa and everyone believes that it's a third world country, but they
have this shield over their society and they have all of these scientific
advancements which were really cool to see and they have this special plant
that will give you powers. The black panther can have these powers, but
they are keeping all of these advances to theirself and they're
letting all of their brothers and sisters as you would say not succeed to
the level that they could if they would share these advancements with them.
They don't want the world to get a hold of them, and you have the enemy
who's really not an enemy at all because he wants them to share all of these
advancements. He sees all the struggle of living in America with all of the poor
treatment of blacks and he's like you know if we had all of that that would
bring us up and we would be better off. He's wanting to become the new black
panther so that he can do this. I really like when the villain of the story
actually has real motivations that make sense and aren't all horrible. At the
same time, I wanted the original black panther to succeed so that was an
interesting dynamic to work with. Honestly, most of the movie is just full
of fighting scenes and I don't know about you guys but I am one of those rare
individuals who falls asleep in movies that have fighting scenes because I
want plot. I don't care about 20 minutes of an action sequence. I fall asleep.
It's boring. I'm sorry. I do. I fell asleep in Transformers,
fell asleep in one of the Avengers movies like twice. I can't remember.
My husband had to take me to see the movies like three times because every
time it got to that action scene, I would fall asleep. That's why I can't go to
movies after like 7 o'clock because I'm gonna pass out in the movie theater.
There's an action scene, but if you're curious about Black Panther honestly I
would recommend just waiting for it to come out on DVD if you don't have a lot
of money, and use that money to go see the Avengers which will star Black
Panther but we'll probably have a bit more plot and a lot more characters that
you get to see that you already know so that's kind of my thoughts on Black
Panther. I hope you guys like this video. If you did love Black Panther, I do
recommend going and checking out War for the Planet of the Apes. Thanks for watching. :)
