Waching daily Mar 19 2018

Without intending to do so, Amy Roloff has managed to make a plateful of cookies seem

controversial.

The Little People, Big World star jumped on Instagram last week to share a delicious looking

photo.

It features Amy sitting alone at a table, except for the yummy items in front of her;

from mini muffins to some kind of bread and even a few painted eggs.

"I'm already planning for Easter," she wrote to open a lengthy caption, continuing as follows:

"It's a special time and celebration to me because what Jesus did! And I'm with

my family. Amy Roloff's Little Kitchen is all about sharing what I love with you.

"Recipes, food and why I love being in the kitchen making delicious baked goods and meals.

That gather people together and around the table."

So... why the aforementioned controversy?

Because Easter is arguably the most sacred and important of all Catholic holidays.

It is meant as a celebration for the surprising resurrection of Jesus Christ.

And Amy is using it as a way to shill for her website and her company?!? Does she have

no sense of decorum or respect?!?

So argues a few harsh critics, at least.

"Really, Amy?!? Must you exploit this holiday for your own selfish gain?" wrote one follower

in response to this post.

The post, meanwhile, goes on a bit more:

I remember how I loved coloring eggs w/ my kids and hiding them before they woke up to

find them. And making Easter baskets with something special in it that reminded them

what Easter truly is all about. I

'd baked a lemon poppy seed bread (in photo) quiche, cheesecake, honey baked ham and other

goodies for our meal. I get excited just thinking about it.

We get hungry just thinking about it.

But some get angry.

"Just stop, Amy," said another hater. "Of ALL days, this one is not about you."

In the past, Amy's daughter also got dragged for using God and religion to pitch her own

products.

Amy, meanwhile, typically hears it from trolls who don't approve of her romance with Chris

Marek .

But he wasn't the source of contention this time around.

Concluded Roloff in her caption:

My kids are all grown up now and it'll be fun to see them with their kids at Easter

and start their own traditions. What are some of your Easter traditions and things you make?

Thank you for your support and encouragement. Have a wonderful almost Spring day.

Roloff also used the hashtags "#amyroloffslittlekitchen," "#Easter," "#celebratetraditions," "#familylife,"

and "#sharingourstory."

What do you think of this scandal?

Is it really a scandal?

Is Amy just doing what any entrepreneur anywhere would do?

Or should Easter really not be a holiday that gets the hashtag treatment because it is too

sacred?

We want to hear your opinion, readers!

Mobility Exercises For Powerlifting Part 2 - Duration: 5:07.

What's up guys

This is Ki Cheng, student physical therapist back to you with part two of our series on

Mobility exercises for powerlifting in today's video we'll be working on mobility exercises

Specifically for the upper body especially as they pertain to our chest and our shoulders, so let's get into it

If you haven't already you can check out part 1 of the series located right here. *Video in top right corner

Where we talk about?

mobility exercises for the lower body now with powerlifting

It's really easy to get tight through our chest since we spend so much time doing

bench pressing or even variations of it and

As a power lifter myself as well as working with other people I find that a lot of power lifters get a lot of tightness

And pain through the front of their shoulders

it's really easy when you don't have enough range of motion or

The shoulder blades not moving well for you to get a little bit of an impingement through that bicep tendon

Through the superspinatus and other rotator cuff muscles so by working through some of that range through the exercises

I'm about to show you we can help prevent some of that irritation through some of those smaller structures

So let's take a look at some of them the first exercise. We're going to be looking at is the shoulder pass-throughs

Now with the shoulder pass through our main purpose is to increase our shoulder flexion or the ability to bring our shoulders

overhead by our ear

so you want to do is take a

light PVC pipe or bar as I'm doing here and put a light weight in the middle and

Slowly bring their shoulders overhead, and you kind of notice

I'm going really slow and pausing at the end for about three seconds to as

You can kind of see here, so the mistakes is arching your back

The problem with this is you're getting motions through your thoracic the lumbar spine as opposed to your shoulder

Instead what you want to do is tuck through ribcage down and let Muhsin emotion just come directly from your

shoulder instead

Some basic anatomy review

So when we're benching one major muscle that we're using is the pectoralis major as you can kind of see in this picture?

the PEC is a really large muscle that sits across the front of our chest and it attaches right on to our arm bone the

humerus so the next two exercises

We're going to do is we're going to be moving our arms away from the chest so that really gets a good stretch through

the actual PEC

With the second exercise we're going to be doing is the assisted dips

Now the purpose of this exercise is to work on our shoulder extension

Which is the ability to bring our arm?

behind this as you can see here what I did was I basically took a box and you use to do perform box jumps and

I'm slowly just slowing myself down while I'm betting on my elbows

One of the common mistakes that you'll see is that you'll want to let the shoulders roll forward as opposed to keeping them back and

With this do spending more time just moving your trunk as opposed to natural arm

instead - what we want to do is we tuck your shoulders back and down and

Keep your body relatively straight as you can see on the left side here

I'm letting my elbow splitter out which is not good, but I want to do instead

It's really just tuck the elbows in and keep them as close to me as possible

The last exercise in the series is the dumbbell fly?

I'm just taking a light pair of dumbbells and performing a dumbbell fly and

With the chest as we said before it the pecs and main Grohl

Or at least one of them is to bring our shoulders closer to your midline

So we want to do the opposite by stretching our PEC through this exercise, and you kind of notice as I'm bringing it down

I'm holding it at the end range, but I'm not bringing it straight back

I'm just bending my elbows and bring

Is to save myself from having to do the consensual part of the word?

The goal of this is not to really get stronger through your chest. It's just to stretch out the muscles through the front

So just go slowly and really spend time at the end range wherever that might be for you

So it is true with all the exercises that we've been doing so far

You really want to go slowly?

With all of them slowly lowering down the weight and spending some time

At the end range the point of this is not just to blow through

Like 10 to 15 reps you really want to go slow so that your muscles have time to relax into the end ranges so that

You can become a little bit looser

That's it guys. Go ahead and work on your mobility drills your body will thank you later and
