I'm about to show you the best pre workout supplement make your own (DIY) three simple

ingredients it's quick it's easy might even be more effective for you! The

experience starts right now! What is going on? My name is David Barr [CSCS, CISSN, RSCC] if you're

looking to get bigger faster stronger, get leaner, go longer, hit that SUBSCRIBE

and then my little bell so you don't miss all play this tips and tricks. Today

we are talking the best pre workout supplement I'm going to show you how to

make your own simple ingredients really keeping them might actually be more

effective for you if you're a subscriber stay tuned to the end I got your next

steps to optimize your workouts muscle growth fat loss and athletic performance.

Now ingredient number one may be ingredient zero is so obvious it's

caffeine I'm not even going to count it that's why it's ingredients hero I just

take two hundred mgs before a lift I take a lot of caffeine throughout the day so

200 milligrams not a big deal I'm not recommending caffeine it's just what

I use to help get me up before a workout and I like the precision this is why I

do my own pre-workout I like the precision dosing don't worry about

proprietary blends I mean if you make your own you know what you're getting

you know what you're putting your drink that's why could be more effective for

you you get more the stuff you need less of the stuff you don't and it's going to

be cheaper so key ingredient number one tyrosine it's an amino acid something we

need to survive I'm not recommending a specific brand I don't make money from

any of this stuff I'm not giving you links to any of it it's just what I use

what I think is a fact so this is just regular l-tyrosine not a big deal but

it's going to be very very effective this is the neurotransmitter precursor

all that means is that our neurotransmitters epi norepi

or what you might call adrenaline noradrenaline if you're outside north

america or if you're on TV for some reason people like to say adrenaline

noradrenaline I don't know but it's made from this stuff if we don't have enough

of this stuff kicking around it's going to be a problem we're not going to be

able to get the maximum effectiveness from our caffeine or a pre-workout

whatever it is we're taking so that's why I use a lot of the tyrosine I'm

going to come back to tyrosines there's a bonus tip for you and that has to do

with the dosing. Quick SideBarr this principle is actually

related to some of the masters research I did research idea for NASA at Johnson

Space Center and a talk I gave for the NSCA personal trainers conference I

will link to as much of this as I can there's a lot of information here but I

really want to keep it simple for now but just know there's a lot of science

behind this ingredient number two is going to be BCAAs branched chain amino

acids this is something that we can use to not only stimulate muscle protein

synthesis keep in mind it doesn't last long I've done my research on this one I

don't mean literary research I mean literally I've been in the lab studying

muscle protein synthesis on the stuff I mean we had to puncture arteries and

dock I think it gets guy messy but the research shows it's great for

stimulating muscle protein synthesis but it doesn't sustain it I have a video on

this three tips for optimizing your BCCAs because right now people love these BCAAs

but they don't work they're broken I show you how to fix that in the video

I'll link to that in the top right in the description but specifically for a

pre-workout yeah great to kick off that muscle protein synthesis it's like a key

turning on the engine to a car doesn't last long without the gas the rest of

the amino acids over gas so we're just talking pre-workout use right now

there's possibility of BCAAs to block another neurotransmitter we'll call it

brain chemical if you want kinda like a short-lived hormone but we don't want

this one you know from the whole Thanksgiving turkey myth tryptophan

converts to serotonin not something we want kicking around when we work out

these days will help block it but hey so will tyrosine now here's your bonus step

this is a big one a lot of people just use pcs the key is to combine the

tyrosine and a BCAA's because if you're using BCAAs to block amino acids - guess

what else applause piracy that means there's no raw building block no

material from which to build our excitatory neurotransmitters excitatory

hormones those things we walk the EPI norepi that we talked about earlier

adrenaline noradrenaline respectively they can't get built if you're blocking

it with watch out for dogs they can't get belt unless you're using both these

together so I do what's called neuro balance I balance them out one to one

ratio ideally using tires and be safe together so it's going to be a

one-to-one ratio so I'll use about three grams

season three grams with Tyrus again not recommending a specific brand yeah I

know I wear the hat but not specifically and meant to be in the doors so

ingredient number three is going to be a fast absorbing fast digesting

carbohydrate this is the key to everything you need

to clear out your blood you need to not only get the fuel to the brain the

muscle that kind of thing that's what carbs do right it's our high intensity

fuel like you also want to make sure if the tyrosine that BCAA's have access to

the brain is CNS central nervous system whatever you want to call it it's going

to help get them where they need to go now specifically this is bottarga I mean

yes I would recommend this I would use it if I could afford it

full disclosure I used to work for the company cool thing is I don't work for

them anymore but what that means is I have no actual

conflict of interest of recommending this it means I also know behind the

scenes stuff there's a lot of research on this one it is fantastic fast

absorbing carbohydrate you're on a budget you know that glucose

maltodextrin in combo again I recommend using your own really really cheap stuff

should be pennies per use okay this is why we're talking about making your own

issues super super inexpensive but also very very effective because you know

what you're getting so additions are caffeine we got the tyrosine that's

going to build those neurotransmitters that we want -the epi/norepi it's going to

have the BCAAs to stimulate not only muscle protein synthesis but also help

block the neurotransmitter we don't want getting to our brain that tryptophan

stay away from that one then we're going to have our fast absorbing carbs this is

not only going to give us fuel for the workout that rocket fuel that we want

it's actually going to help clear out the blood of the rest of the amino acid

and make sure if the tyrosine the BCAAs get where we want them to get so real

quick what are you using before a workout I don't care about brands I'm

not going to accept any links or anything but I do want to hear about

what ingredients you're using let me know in the comments below so your next

step to optimizing your workout muscle growth fat loss athletic performance

check out the video I did on tyrosine caffeine that kind of thing

it's going to go into a little more depth give you a bit more background

really help optimize your performance I'll link to that in the top right and

the description It's called the best supplements for Olympic

weightlifters and powerlifters - optimizing strength power speed that

kind of thing but anyone can use it it's great for pre-workout so there's the

best pre-workout make your own it's cheap it's easy it's a few simple

ingredients thanks for watching I'm David Barr until next time, Raise The Barr

Mystery Motive for Murder- The Climb and the Fall - Duration: 13:43.

Welcome to Mystery Motive for Murder

Agnes only had one goal in life: to accrue as much wealth and social status as possible.

And she'd managed to climb quite high, but you don't get there without stepping on some

people.

I was one of those people.

Years ago, I was being courted by a wonderful man, Louis.

He came from a good family, but I didn't care about that, I loved him very deeply.

Things were going just wonderfully, and Louis had even hinted that he wanted to propose

soon.

Then, Agnes...

She had met Louis at a party two years earlier, and was constantly flirting with him.

He hadn't shown any interest in her.

This did nothing to hinder her efforts, though.

She called on him frequently, and became friendly with his family, his sister in particular.

They didn't realize that Agnes had a plan.

She began to insinuate very nasty things about me, phrased at first of "rumors that she had

heard".

Eventually these tales got back to Louis, who didn't believe them, at least at first.

Then, my grandmother fell ill and died.

I had to rush off to her bedside and help with the arrangements once she had passed.

During that time Agnes took the opportunity to tell Louis that I was having an affair

with someone else.

She even paid a man to pose as my paramour, and verify her claims to Louis.

When I returned, Louis wouldn't speak to me, and I had no idea why.

I begged for an answer, but he refused to speak to me.

In a matter of weeks, he and Agnes were married.

Months later, Louis discovered the truth, he spotted the man that Agnes had employed

for her scheme and asked about me.

The man had forgotten and was confused at first, before he finally revealed that he'd

been paid by Agnes to make those statements.

Louis sought me out and apologized profusely.

He told me he was going to leave Agnes so that we could be together.

We saw each other secretly, and those weeks were wonderful.

He had shown me the paperwork that was drawn up.

Once Agnes signed it, we would be free to marry.

We made so many plans.

Then, Agnes...

When they found Louis' body, I knew that she was responsible.

She may have had an alibi, but I knew that she had paid someone to murder Louis.

How foolish we had been, thinking that she'd allow him to leave her.

She had his money, the status of his name, and as a widow, was free to move on and up.

She was remarried before Louis had been dead for 18 months.

This marriage was equally unhappy, however, her husband was a very ill man, and succumbed

after three years.

Some claim that had he gotten better care at home he would have been able to live longer.

Not that Agnes cared, for this gave her the perfect opportunity to marry again, and this

time, it was her late husband's doctor, Doctor Xavier.

Things began well enough, but before a year was out this marriage had turned out the way

all her other marriages had- miserable.

Neither one could stand to be around the other, but Agnes was not ready to move on.

Xavier, however, was more than ready to leave her, and according to his friends, was starting

the legal work to have the marriage ended.

A number of nights he would simply stay with his neighbor, Sir Gerard.

Agnes did not like Sir Gerard at all.

According to him, she attempted to start an affair with him, and became enraged at his

rejection.

Of course, it could also be due to his single minded pursuit of artifacts.

The property that she and her husband owned was alleged to have some ancient relics buried

there.

Gerard desparately wanted to obtain them, and Xavier was more than willing to let him.

However, Agnes was not one to let go of something that she could possibly use to her benefit,

and refused to let him on the property when she was there.

This didn't stop Sir Gerard, and on more than one occasion, she caught him in the act of

excavation.

This turned into quite a feud, with her even turning their groundskeeper, Jasper, against

Gerard.

While Agnes didn't hire Jasper, he immediately took to Agnes.

And once she realized how devoted he was, she fanned the flames of his infatuation.

Before Agnes, Jasper was known to see other women, but since that time, he's stopped dating,

and has become obsessed with the idea that one day they'll be together.

Agnes liked to keep as many romantic options open as possible.

This is what made our paths cross again.

She is friends with Sheldon, the cousin of my fiance.

This allowed me to find out exactly what Agnes was up to.

The extent of their relationship remains a mystery, even to me.

How did Sheldon become so loyal and devoted to Agnes?

Knowing Sheldon and his family, it's likely to do with his finances.

Sheldon comes from a wealthy family, but those familial bonds have become strained over the

years due to Sheldon's own actions.

He has had several run-ins with the law over his drinking and has run up some rather large

tabs.

His family has stepped in repeatedly to smooth those over, and keep him out of trouble.

If he had even tried to curb his behavior, his family would have been forgiving, but

he has refused.

This has left him in danger of being written out of the will.

Agnes has been helping him financially, and in return, Sheldon has given her a way to

ingratiate herself with his very wealthy family.

I was careful to never meet Agnes, lest she remember me.

I was not going to allow her to ruin my happiness again.

I had learned that Sheldon routinely had Agnes over on Wednesday afternoons.

I waited until the first Wednesday of the month, when I knew that much of the household

staff would be off for the afternoon.

Knowing that few people would be there, I let myself into the back garden.

I watched them and waited for an opportune moment.

Soon, it arrived.

Sheldon had to return to the house to fetch his watch, and Agnes said she would wait in

the garden until he returned.

I snuck up behind her, and once Sheldon was inside, I shot her in the back of the head

without hesitating.

I ran out of the garden, and made my way back to town.

I had made a lunch appointment that afternoon to help provide some type of cover.

Afterwards, I tossed the weapon into the river.

It was that evening that I heard from my fiance of the murder.

I knew I was far from the only person to have a grudge against Agnes.

The investigators were looking quite closely at her husband, since he had made his displeasure

with Agnes quite well known.

Soon it became clear why he wanted to end the marriage.

He was involved in an affair with Madame Delphine, his housekeeper.

She was hired on shortly after he married Agnes.

It isn't surprising his attraction to Delphine, as she and Agnes are like night and day.

Delphine cares little about money or parties, and isn't a very sociable woman.

Given their stark differences, it's no wonder that the two women didn't get along at all.

Agnes frequently demanded that her husband fire Delphine, but he adamantly refused, which

caused much tension in their relationship.

Investigators let Delphine know that she was considered a strong suspect.

Although as they continued to look into Xavier's friends and associates, that list only grew.

Xavier was friends with Miss Ursula.

She had worked for his family a number of years ago, and the two still maintained a

friendship.

Ursula is currently employed by Sheldon's family as a governess.

The two had a brief affair recently, and Ursula has been desperate to keep Sheldon's affections.

In the letters that Xavier and Ursula wrote to each other, he had shared that Agnes appeared

to be developing a relationship with Sheldon.

This only further fueled Ursula's jealousy and fears.

She was desparate to get her lover back.

The investigators spoke to her on several occasions and never cleared her of suspicion.

As the investigation grew, another suspect emerged.

Felix is Xavier's oldest nephew, who has only just finished his time in jail.

The official story was that he was selling drugs illegally.

However, there was an unexplained murder that occurred, around that time as well.

The man had been carrying quite a bit of money, and some of his seedy friends claimed that

he was attempting to pay the debt he owed to Felix.

Instead of suspecting Felix for the crime, his family made sure that the story went the

other way around.

That Felix was selling drugs because he owed this man money and was only trying to pay

his debt, but the man was murdered before he could repay him.

There have been lots of whispers about Felix, and stories about his other violent and psychopathic

tendencies.

He is also desperate to regain his uncle, Xavier's, good graces, because of a particular

estate that he owns.

The doctor bought this estate many years ago, but hasn't been there in years and is looking

to give this to someone in the family.

The place is small and out of the way, which is perfect for a man like Felix.

His record and continued ties to some very nefarious characters have cast quite a bit

of suspicion on him.

The investigators also know that Felix is quite skilled with using firearms, another

mark against him.

Having so many strong suspects, no witnesses, and no weapon, the investigation has frustrated

the detectives.

I have escaped much suspicion, and am free to travel next month with my fiance on our

honeymoon.

Agnes will not be able to interfere this time, of that, I'm quite sure.

Lewis Hamilton: Valtteri Bottas SLAMMED for defending Brit - 'It was desperation' - Duration: 2:22.

Lewis Hamilton: Valtteri Bottas SLAMMED for defending Brit - 'It was desperation' Mercedes locked out the front row of the Hungarian Grand Prix and put on a magnificent team display as Hamilton led the race while Bottas kept the pair of Ferraris off the Brit's tail. However, four laps from the finish, Bottas' tyres became severely wore and he was unable to stop Vettel rounding him on Turn 2. The Finnish driver attempted to defend the manoeuvre but collided with the Ferrari - who fortunately suffered no damage.

A lap later, Bottas drove into the side of Daniel Ricciardo and was slapped with a 10-second penalty after seeing the stewards post race.         But he was lucky not to incur any further punishment for the earlier collision. "It's fair to say Vettel arguably could have given Bottas more room on the inside as they headed to Turn Two," Palmer wrote in his column for the BBC. "Vettel did close the door to take the apex and could have been more cautious, but Bottas never should have tried to recover the position in the manner he did.

"I think it was desperation from Bottas - he wasn't fussed about crashing with Vettel at that point and put his car in a position where a crash was almost inevitable."   Vettel fortuitously stayed in the race to secure second place on the podium, ensuring Hamilton only extended his lead in the Drivers' Championship to 24 points. But had the outcome of the crash been different, Palmer feels Bottas could have found himself in further hot water.

"For F1's sake it was good Vettel managed to continue unscathed - because if he had retired after that hit from Bottas, he added. "In the end, Vettel finished second and Bottas picked up damage - ultimately his comeuppance - and Vettel was magnanimous afterwards. "If Vettel had retired, I think the inquisition from Ferrari and governing body the FIA would have been a deep one.".

Bill McKenzie: The Need for African American Donors - Duration: 0:53.

Right now African Americans make up about 6% of the Wisconsin population – yet

22% of the individuals waiting for transplants are African American.

The reason that it's very important, for African Americans in particular, to become organ

donors is because of the fact that the closer the match of the ethnicity,

the better the chances of a successful transplant.

I encourage everyone to go to their local DMV and register as an eye, tissue, and organ

donor – or go online at DonateLifeWisconsin.org

6 Magic Words for a Happy Life - Duration: 6:04.

6 Magic Words for a Happy Life

Sometimes recognizing the blessings that surround us in life means taking a moment to truly focus on what's happening around us and in our lives.

Oftentimes obligations, responsibilities and concerns limit how much time we have to engage in those moments that make life worth living and give us a truly happy life.

But right now we invite you take a moment to use these 6 words to help you appreciate your life more.

1,Love yourself.

The first and most essential word in our vocabulary is love.

If you find that you're becoming the person who always does for others but never takes a moment for yourself, well it's time to change.

Keep in mind that it's hard to give to others when you don't take care of yourself first.

If you have moments where you feel adrift or unhappy, then you'll find less and less enjoyment in doing for others.

We all need a little room and time to ourselves every now and then, to think, rest and revitalize.

You need to be valued for who you are, and that means making time to find out who you are.

And why not? Balance in life is all about equilibrium, and taking as much has we give when it comes to care and love.

2, Listen.

To listen and to be heard are without doubt some of the most human elements of life.

Did you know the biggest part of listening is being silent.

Have you ever just sat in stillness for a few minutes? Listen to music, anything that makes you smile, dance or tap your foot.

Listen to your children play, their love of life and learning is contagious at times.

Listen, listen and enjoy.

3,Feel.

Take a moment to feel the wind in your hair as you come home.

Let the sun's rays beat down on you from the window and the ocean's tides caress your feet as you sit on the shore.

Those tiny sensations can help you feel alive and fulfilled.

What's better than touching and feeling? What's better than a kiss? A hug from your kids, or cuddling with your pet? Life is full of touch and you should explore it to the maximum.

4,Move.

Get out of your house and off your couch.

Move, walk, jog — go outside and enjoy the fresh air and nature with your best pal or family member.

If you want some visual stimulation try walking around your downtown area with a friend.

Form healthy routines that get you moving on a daily basis, because as you know, nothing is healthier than exercise.

You'll not only feel better but more alive.

So get moving.

5,Trust.

Trust in yourself and all you are able of accomplishing.

Trust that the future will bring you everything you deserve because you've worked hard to get there.

Trust is one of the most positive human sentiments and can reinforce your sense of purpose and belonging.

Trust in those things that make you happy and above all trust in your self.

Trust is the daily motor that pushes us up and out of bed and keeps us motivated.

6,Reunite.

Solitude is fine on certain occasions, but you should learn that reuniting with your loved ones — kids, spouse, siblings, parents — is among one of the most pleasurable human endeavors.

Enjoy time with your spouse and kids, and if you don't have immediate family, then focus on strengthening your relationship with close friends.

You should focus on the little moments that make life worth living; having a cup of coffee with a friends, planning a new project or road trip, or engaging in activities that will expand the number of people in your life.

Life is full of great moments which can become great memories if only you'll take a little time to focus and enjoy.

About the Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program at the National Endowment for Democracy - Duration: 2:19.

♪♪♪

I wanted to find a place where I could learn

a whole lot more about democracy and its promotion.

From day one it was really a close group

a group of friends, eight

fellows, eveyone was super nice

doing super interesting stuff.

It's really amazing to see all these experiences from

different countries. When I worked in Egypt sometimes

it feels like a person is working in a vacuum or

no one else goes through the same things that they go through.

It was really good to see the experiences, the projects,

the ideas that the other fellows had.

The program was founded in 2001 to bring dedicated

democracy activists, scholars, and journalists to be in

residence at NED, to benefit from the environment here

and to strengthen their capacity to do their work.

Starting in 2001 in the fall we

had just 4 fellows to begin the program, and since then

we have hosted over 280 fellows from more than 90 countries.

It has been a breathing space

you are like a bit removed from the reality of

everything that you do.

For a researcher like me, this

is the perfect place to be because here you really

have the time to focus on your

research. Everyone at NED seems

to be interested in what you are doing.

The trends that we've seen

really challenging some of our

basic assumptions about the

trajectory of democracy mean

that it's as important as ever

to have courageous individuals that are able to fight for their

rights within their home countries

to make their own societies

more democratic and more

responsive to their citizens.

The most important part that

I think I will take home

is the inspiration.

So it's been really like an

inspiring more than five months

for me. Talking to these people,

seeing how NED operates,

it's been just a great time to be here.

And then I didn't know what to

expect, but it's been

it's been incredible. It's been

an incredible learning experience.

Indigenous MMA Fighter Teaches POW (Power Our Women), Self-defense for Women of all Ages. - Duration: 2:40.

Just on my own journey, I've met women and girls

that heard that I've been training in martial arts

and they would tell me their stories

and just how I inspired them.

I've even had women say that

I made them want to live again.

K, this one stays up to protect this side.

There and back.

K, ready?

And, one...

two...

three

So our mission for POW is to meet other women and girls

and help them rediscover the power they

already have inside themselves.

And we do that through self-defense and

body awareness training and situational awareness.

I felt like it was really important to create the

safe space for women and girls to have

their own time to put themselves in these vulnerable

situations, but also have the assistance of our

coaches and help them see how to get out of these

situations and the reason I added the fitness to

our program is because our body is the one tool that

we have no matter what, you know, we won't have

a brother, a mother, or our family members

to protect us all the time.

So, if we can create that strength within ourself to

make sure that we can look after ourselves and

look after families and our communities and

even just being physically active just creates

more confidence within yourself to become leaders,

become more outspoken and just, you know,

honor your spirit and your voice.

Power Our Women was literally created out of

the reminders that my mom always put into me, I guess,

growing up she's always reminded me that I'm Indigenous

and that I'm a woman and there's gonna be situations

that I'll have to think about before I go into.

And that's one of the things that we do with our

situational awareness is just to kind of let them

think about those things that are normal, and to

recognize what's not normal.

So that if, you know,

it's presenting itself, they can just remove themselves

right away and, you know,

be safe rather than sorry.

I'm very proud of my sister and what she's doing.

I'm behind her 100% and very, very supportive of her.

Protection is something that we don't think about

all the time.

So, I feel that POW really puts it out there

and makes sure that puts that in their face and

makes them think about that insurance and making sure that

their daughters will be okay.

And once again I will fight for you to get the correct items fixed.

It's important to remember that this is the most emotional part of the transaction.

Sellers have already been living in that home just the way it is and buyers want to buy

a perfectly well functioning home, and it's my job to help everyone focus, and work with

the other agent so everyone walks away happy.

If you have any questions about this process, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
