Net neutrality
What is it? Why is it changing and will it be the end of making lots and lots of money online for the little guy
So everybody's talking about net neutrality right now especially
Affiliate marketers like me who are really worried that this repeal is going to crush their online businesses
So what is net neutrality and do these changes mean that you can't start an online business now so net neutrality is
Basically what we all know and enjoy today all
Content traffic websites that are online
are treated equally in terms of what gets shown and
How fast a certain sites load so then each of us has the freedom to pick and choose?
What we watch what we consume online on the internet so the proposed repeal of net neutrality means
That ISPs or Internet service providers and get to pick and choose
What kind of content gets shown to its users like me and you so the repeal would mean?
That instead of the internet being this great free market of ideas. It would suddenly become a much more controlled environment
Where only those with the deepest pockets that can afford to pay for it will have their their content shown or their ads showed
and
that even can include that the
ISPs or the Internet service providers could even decide that they don't like your content at all and choose not to show it so does
That mean that my affiliate marketing business is going to
Collapse or does that mean that you shouldn't start an affiliate marketing business absolutely
Not now if you're on this channel
It means you're interested in creating your own online business and maybe for you
You haven't decided that you're ready to do that yet for whatever reason and now this whole issue of
Net neutrality is just one more reason in your head
Why you shouldn't go for it?
And why you shouldn't start pursuing the change of your life and growing your own online business so the truth of the matter is
Despite all the fear-mongering that you hear online
Is that net neutrality won't make a slight bit of difference?
I mean they've actually tried it before here in Europe and
it failed miserably now the reason that it failed so bad here in Europe is because as soon as
an IPS or an internet an Internet service provider starts to block or
Or slow down content a new internet provider
just pops up and
Doesn't block anything and people flock to that provider because at the end of the day the free market that we enjoy today
Is setup to give people what they actually want so when the market starts dictating what you can and can't see?
Somebody else will pop up with a solution and the free market wins and people will go where
What they want is provided so don't let the fear?
Surrounding net neutrality be the reason that you don't try to starve in online marketing today
I mean
It's just going to be another excuse online marketing is an eight billion dollar per year business
And it's only getting bigger and bigger
We're fortunate enough to live in a time where anybody no matter your age your race your social background your
Finances your gender your sexual orientation or education can earn more money in a year
than a blue chip CEO
Online net neutrality is not gonna stop any of that so if you already have an online business
Stop worrying about it, and if you're thinking of starting an online business
