Is Multiplayer Right for your Game? - Duration: 2:49.

hey everyone it's Hersh from Game Marketing Genie

and today I'm going to talk about the magic of multiplayer

or the curse

the main advantage of going multiplayer is combining the addiction

that gamers have with gaming to social

helping them establish friendships within the ecosystem of your game and

and obviously this improves retention

if your players are talking to their friends about your game all the time

they're more likely to play it, however

this comes with a catch - a challenge if you will

the challenge is how do you

have enough players to ensure that

you're always able to make matches

if you don't have enough players to create

a multiplayer experience it's not going to work

and if you don't have a backup single-player experience

then players are gonna leave and you're never gonna have that working volume

what I usually recommend when it comes to deciding

whether to go multiplayer or single player

is to always have some type of single-player element built in as a backup

in case you do not hold the volume you require, have that backup option

that your players can fall back on

enjoy a story, and that might give you

a little bit more time to actually

attract more players and create that multiplayer experience

let's look at Dota or you know Dota 2 as an example

Dota started as a mod on Warcraft 3

and during the time that Warcraft 3 was an extremely popular game

Dota acquired a massive player base. this validated the

fact that they had a successful multiplayer business model that they

could then take and turn into a game experience

what they had though from scratch was the knowledge that people

liked their game already

if you don't have that you might need a single-player backup

going single player versus

multiplayer is a risk/reward equation

going multiplayer is conducive to faster growth, referrals

and maybe even more revenues however you

suffer the risk of things just not working out at all because of the lack of matchmaking

now the opposite is true

for single-player it usually grows slower

players are acquired at a slower rate however you have something there

regardless of any outside influence

even as a single-player game you could benefit from a lot of the same

advantages multiplayer games have

especially with mobile and the ability

to connect so easily to social media

getting your players to invite their friends in

getting your players to share things and getting your players to talk

about it more on their social media channels

try and build in the sameadvantages multiplayer games have if you

decide to go single-player to at least

increase your chances of having the same type of viral growth

on behalf of our entire team at game marketing Genie

thank you for watching

still not sure whether you should go multiplayer, single-player or a mix of both?

TOP 3 REASONS FOR FAILURES IN LOVE RELATIONS BETWEEN UKRAINIANS AND EASTERN PEOPLE | ЛЮБОВЬ С ХАЧОМ? - Duration: 29:15.

Hello, my family!

Today I would like to talk with you on such a topic as the relationship between Ukrainians and representatives of Eastern cultures.

For some reason today this topic came to my mind.

I have long wanted to make a video of this kind, just talk with you, express my thoughts, find out your point of view, read in the comments ... I hope they will.

I wanted to talk today about this.

Why is it so, that a lot of people from the eastern countries who ...

every year there are more and more of them in Ukraine.

There are reasons for this, I will talk about them.

Why are there so few people with so many marriages or long and happy relationships, I mean in percentage terms?

Of course, there are fictitious marriages.

But I will not talk about it today.

I would like to talk about this.

Today I will talk about relationships, mainly implying the relationship between Ukrainian women and men from Eastern countries.

Why?

Because all the same, if we talk about Ukraine, then every year more and more people come here to either get higher education or to conduct some business issues.

Accordingly, based on the culture and traditions of these countries, it becomes clear why it is men.

Because traditionally in these countries, men are more active, lead a more social life, they travel more ...

For their situation, this is absolutely normal and understandable.

Therefore speaking "women", I will mean "Ukrainian, Slavic women", and speaking of men, I will mean men from India, Turkey and representatives of Arab culture.

So that's it.

One of the first reasons, in my opinion, why do not form unions, long-term love relationships, it is disappointment.

At what from both parties.

On the one hand, those people who come here for the first time ...

or rather, when they are just going to come here, they understand that Ukraine is part of Europe.

Well, atleast geographically.

And they do not yet see the difference between Eastern and Western Europe.

Therefore, getting here, the first thing they face is local languages.

Most people in Ukraine do not speak English.

And for them this is the first cultural shock.

And the main one.

In fact, this is one of the main problems that they face throughout their entire stay here.

And, of course, this creates obstacles in further communications.

The same goes for the level of the economy, the level of culture ...

the level of life here is quite different, compared to what they expected, intending to go here.

Well, they thought they were going to Europe ... like to France, Germany, etc.

Here, the standard of living is still slightly different.

Ukraine is still developing, still pursuing a number of reforms.

And all this takes time.

This process is not always smooth, but, nevertheless, it happens.

As for Ukrainian women, their disappointment is more provoked by the fact that ...

the representation of women of my generation, and in many respects younger ones too, about oriental men is formed through Indian films, Turkish TV series and some such things.

Most people in Ukraine do not understand the fact that India ...

as one of my friends from India says: "Do not look at India as at country. Look at it like at a continent. "

Because, in fact, 1.5 billion people (!) ...

Well, this is a huge number of people.

And all of them are representatives of very different cultures, different religions, different living conditions.

Everyone grew up in their own way ... in some local groups, in some places ...

When we talk about a country, we have some stereotyped ideas.

About Ukraine are their own: sunflowers, viburnum ...

we think so.

And foreigners think that Lenin, Stalin is Ukraine.

And just like the Ukrainian women form their ideas about men from the east.

In their view, this is the prince, Maharaja, who can take her to his palace, build a new Taj Mahal for her, and perpetuate her name.

And in fact, very often students come here, including from poor families.

For some, to study here, they had to take a loan.

In fact, their education here, their knowledge, which they receive, is all that they have.

Moreover, the quality of this education, the quality of the educational system in Ukraine today, is a topic that deserves a separate video.

Maybe I'll take this video out later, because there are a lot of questions.

In addition, Ukrainian women, especially recently, in the last couple of decades ...

after the collapse of the Soviet Union ...

in general, the Soviet period has greatly influenced the formation of morals in our country.

I think that many people can agree with me.

And if you do not agree with this - write in the comments, I'm happy to know your point of view.

I'm interested, let's discuss, let's come to some common opinion, find some solutions and ways out of situations.

So that's it.

In the Soviet period, many grew up in conditions of severe shortages.

There were no necessary items of clothing ...

I remember that there were difficulties even in order to buy a detergent when I was little.

People had money, but there were no goods in stores.

People received washing powder or sugar on special coupons.

You could not just come and buy it, because it was not.

I remember when my grandmother ....

Probably, I chose the right location today.

These young people are like an illustration to my story.

One day my grandmother took me to a shoe store.

I was little.

The store was pretty big ... at least I thought so.

And in the shop-window were only one single pair of rubber boots of large size.

All the shelves in the store were absolutely empty ...

It was difficult to buy everything.

And we grew up in these conditions.

And many, after the Soviet Union collapsed and the opportunity arose to somehow change their lives, many women began to be educated in a different way.

The girls were brought up with the fact that a man should fully provide for her financially and she should just be a princess who will simply receive and not give anything in return.

A man should be happy simply from her presence alongside ...

some people somehow think so.

And when two such people meet, their expectations are completely different.

A girl who wants to be a princess, to come on all ready for a wealthy man, and he's just a student, he just came and wants to learn.

Yes, maybe he will be able to earn a lot of money in a few years.

But he is just beginning.

He is only at the beginning of the journey.

And many women are simply not ready to wait, to bet on this man, to believe in him ....

It requires strength, it's a certain risk.

Why, if you can meet a wealthy man in Ukraine and marry him or just be his girlfriend in any sense and receive the same material benefits.

Many women think so.

And this smoothly flows into the second reason why the relationship does not add up, why in Ukraine there are few international marriages, I mean long relationships and strong families.

The second reason is that it is not serious attitudes.

Unconsciousness on both sides.

In my experience of communicating with students and with adults who do business here ...

especially students ...

many of them, coming here from their countries with their culture and with their very strict religious or social rules, having lost their parental care and supervision here, they want to try everything here.

All that is available to them here.

Very many. Not all. But very many.

Unfortunately this is the case.

Here they start drinking alcohol, smoking, meeting girls ...

The first sexual experience they get is in our country.

Why? Because here the atmosphere contributes to this.

Many get acquainted with girls just in night clubs.

And very many girls perceive such acquaintances as just an incidental interesting adventure.

Well ... why not?

Why not try to spend with this "Maharajas" for a while ...

Very often it comes ...

It's just the only more or less quiet place.

On the other side of the river there is less dust, but there is very noisy.

You just would not hear me.

I'm without a microphone today.

This video I got spontaneously.

I hope it will be interesting to someone, useful ...

I hope it will be interesting to you and you will also share your opinion.

Those women who are very often met here by oriental men, they often ...

not always, but, unfortunately, very often are oriented to getting from the man some material benefits and to spend time together, to get a new experience for a short time.

Most often this is limited to a couple of meetings and that's all.

But if initially the attitude of our girls is this, then for eastern men, for their culture, this is unacceptable.

They take it much harder and for them, it's probably more stressful than for us.

And the more this stress, the more negative feedback Ukrainian society as a whole receives in return.

The more the opinion about Ukrainian women in general is spoiled.

On their morals as such, as a feature of the nation ...

These are observations of both my friends, friends of friends, and my experience of communicating with foreigners, especially students.

What they say is a lot of disappointment, some sad or even painful situations.

And sometimes it becomes embarrassing for the behavior of our Ukrainian girls ...

One very vivid example I saw with my own eyes, when, after the next Holi, which was very much like the Indians, and representatives of other cultures, there are a lot of Ukrainians.

It's a fun holiday and wonderful in its essence.

Cheerful and joyful for all.

There were a lot of Indian guys who used alcohol.

Most often, beer or some low-alcohol drinks.

. I've been to Holi for three years in Kharkov.

For three years I have been watching.

I have about this two videos.

I leave a link, you can watch.

Yes, there were guys who were slightly "warmed up" by alcohol.

It was.

. But I did not see any really drunk.

However, when I was leaving the previous Holi, two Ukrainian girls entered after me in the jam-packed trolley bus.

Well ... "entered" - I flattered them, because they just fell into the crowded trolley bus salon and after that they literally lay down on the steps.

They were really very drunk.

They turned to the Indian guys standing around, who looked at each other in confusion and talked in Hindi in some other language.

But the expression on their faces made it clear what they were thinking about these girls.

And throughout this time, while the trolley was taking us from Gorky Park to the metro ...

I repeat, it was a crowded trolley bus full of people and there were a lot of foreign students ...

Everyone noticed these two girls.

Everyone heard them.

Everyone saw them.

Everyone could estimate their behavior.

Those girls called all their friends.

They used obscene language.

They were openly provocative ...

They were very young and I was very sorry for them.

Because despite the fact that all those who were around could think of them, I understand that in such a drunken state it is simply impossible to be constantly.

Especially at this age.

I think they were less than 18 years old.

The only thing that makes me happy is that I do not see such examples every day.

And thanks to God, not even every month.

Maybe I'm just not in the right place ...

Maybe, really, very much depends on the places of acquaintance?

By the way.

If you meet a girl in a nightclub or you meet her at your university, or somewhere in the park, when she read the book ..

Probably there is a difference between the two girls?

Although it may be the same girl.

Everything can be.

In the evening she is in a nightclub, and in the afternoon she reads some deep book in the park.

Why not?

It all depends on people.

I think, it is impossible to generalize.

There is not a single nation so ideal to set it as an example for all of humanity and there is not a single nation that could be said to be worse than simply not.

I just do not believe in it.

I believe that in any nation there are people who show some of their qualities.

How they are perceived by people of other nationalities is also a separate issue.

And you just need to find your person.

It does not matter what nationality he is.

I remembered that I had promised the third point.

The third reason is that people often stick to their local ethnic groups.

What I mean?

Coming here students from India or Arab countries or from some other regions, everything is clear, they get into an unfamiliar country and they are eager to join those people with whom they can at least speak.

In the language they understand.

Because, as I said before, most Ukrainians do not speak even English.

Therefore, they are looking for those with whom they can at least talk.

Those who can help them find housing, arrange some basic things, find a store where they can buy food, find some places where they can just walk.

Well, and so on.

If they meet English-speaking Ukrainians, this is a big holiday for them.

I constantly come across the fact that when people from those countries hear from me at least a little English speech, they are very happy about it.

Because they can at least just talk.

They met a person in a foreign country, who can understand them at least on the level of simple communication.

Plus some informal Ukrainian communities, some social groups, they are not really very open.

It seems that they are not too hostile ...

I have not met with open hostility among the masses.

There are some individuals, individual groups that negatively treat foreigners, especially from the east.

But it does not matter.

Some do not like the sun, some do not like the sky and so on.

But in the mass of its far from it.

Ukrainians in their mass perceive foreigners fairly calmly.

Especially if these foreigners are calmly behaving.

Of course, there are very different cases.

Unfortunately, crime happens.

It happens that foreign students in Ukraine can be robbed ...

very rarely there are much sadder cases ...

but, thank God, this happens very rarely.

But this can happen in any country.

On the other hand, I know the opposite stories.

My good friend told me that she rented a part of her house to Indian students.

. The fact that they did not pay the rent is one story ...

the fact that there were all kinds of parties with alcohol and drugs and spoilage of her property is another story.

And the fact that they eventually began to threaten her and she was forced to just leave from there, leaving her own house ... this is the third story.

So I say that people are different.

People of all nationalities are different not by nationality, but by the level of their personal development.

And getting acquainted, trying to build any relationship, you must always proceed from the fact that this is primarily a person.

It's a human.

Yes, belonging to a particular nation leaves its imprint on appearance, on some habits, on some patterns of social behavior, on the world view ...

in part.

This is.

This has not been canceled.

But after all, each person has his own choice, has his own life experience.

And this is very important.

I think it's worth paying attention to this first.

Of course, if we are talking about a representative of Arab countries where polygamy is allowed, where a very limited social role is assigned to a woman, then the Ukrainian woman needs to show more awareness and answer herself to the question:

is she ready for such a life?

Is she ready to accept this?

Is she ready to accept this religion, this way of life, accept this attitude of society to herself and take her perspective in this society?

If so, why not?

With all the rest a little easier ...

In the sense that, for example, in India, still many people treat marriage enough seriously.

I heard them many times from such a phrase: "We are getting married for life."

If parents used to choose spouses for their children, consult an astrologer and so on, now many young people start doing it themselves.

And they are trying to consciously approach this.

But, getting into another culture, they just do not understand what is happening.

What's with these girls?

What about these people?

Why are they behaving this way?

And they are simply lost, they do not know how to behave.

And Ukrainian women very little help them to adapt.

In the mass.

And it's sad.

Because, in fact, both sides lose a lot.

We could make each other richer.

We could exchange our life experience, exchange cultural experience ...

Damn! we could open our universes to each other!

Initially, each person is a separate universe, but if we talk about representatives of so different cultures, then there is a separate cosmos in general!

I know that there are people ...

By the way, on my channel the haters appeared.

They left a few comments about my video, where I talked about job for foreigners in Ukraine.

There was a couple of people who were very indignant at the idea that people come here to us, study and would like to work.

Personally, I do not see anything wrong with this.

If a person does come to study, and really intends to work, it is for the benefit of not only this person, but also Ukraine.

Because they invest money here in studying.

Despite our imperfect and outdated system, they come here and bring money.

They bring money as a business investment.

They are developing business projects here.

Often they also create jobs, including for Ukrainians.

Why not?

Why is that bad?

It's about those people who really want to work and live peacefully

What's the problem?

Yes, the theme of the video turned out to be wider than I thought.

But maybe it's good.

Now there are some hints of what we can talk about in the future.

Your opinion is very important to me.

What do you think about video of this format?

Are you interested in continuing to talk about such topics about relationships?

And about the relationship between Ukrainians and foreigners?

Maybe we can outline some solutions.

Not only from the astrological point of view, but also from the point of view of some life experience, some observations ...

Share, I will be very glad to know your opinion.

I like to think.

Give me food for thought.

Jalen Ramsey Rips Cowboys: 'I Will Never Play for Them' | Heavy.com - Duration: 3:54.

Jalen Ramsey Rips Cowboys: 'I Will Never Play for Them' | Heavy.com

NFL star Jalen Ramsey isn't known as someone who pulls punches when making comments on players or opposing teams.

That's why it wasn't all that surprising to see him pick apart a few people (and decisions) during a recent interview with ESPN's Mina Kimes.

Specifically, the Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback didn't hold back when the topic of the Dallas Cowboys came up.

While the Cowboys selected running back Ezekiel Elliott ahead of him with the No.

4 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Ramsey expected them to take him.

And in turn, he's not interested in playing for Dallas until Jerry and Stephen Jones are gone.

Via Mina Kimes and ESPN:.

At first, Ramsey was happy to land in Jacksonville, even though he expected Dallas to take him with the No.

4 pick.

(He believes that the Cowboys' coaches wanted him but that owner Jerry Jones bigfooted them and grabbed running back Ezekiel Elliott.

"I will never play for them," he sniffs, "unless the Joneses leave.").

Apparently, the Jaguars cornerback isn't interested in letting bygones be bygones.

These comments come right around two weeks after Ramsey's interview with GQ in which he essentially went through the entire NFL calling out quarterbacks.

During that conversation, Ramsey actually commented on Elliott during his quick statement about Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

"Dak Prescott, he's good. He's alright.

He's okay. I'll put it that way.

[Ezekiel Elliott] runs that team though.

Everything runs around Zeke." Ramsey said.

There seems to be no issue between Ramsey and Elliott, but instead, the 23-year-old is holding his grudge with the Jones family for passing on him.

Although he's only two years into his NFL career, Ramsey has already been named a First-Team All-Pro, made the Pro Bowl and racked up 128 combined tackles, 31 passes defensed and six interceptions in 32 games.

If the talented cornerback's comments weren't enough, he also gets to face the Cowboys in Week 6 this season.

It won't give Ramsey full redemption, but you can bet he'll be looking to show the father-son duo that they made a mistake passing on him.
