I was a pitcher.
Yeah.
I had 12. I had
BYU, Utah, Dixie State, SUU and then some California schools and
Some on the East Coast and then I had TCU.
so
yeah
Came home and started plumbing
Love you. Bye
Okay, so we're going to American Fork
Sounds like every time they run water out the hose bib it leaks, so that's not normal
Let's go see if we can help them out
Yeah, so I moved up here
About three and a half years ago
Cuz I met this really cute girl
Yeah, she was going to BYU so moved up for her and found this company about the same time and stars aligned
Got a dream job and a dream girl at the same time
So it all worked out
Here we go
I'll show you what you can kind of expect today. So
what we're gonna do is just take a look at this and just make sure we focus on this and then
Along the way if I notice anything else, we'll just kind of going to evaluate the plumbing system as we go
And if we find anything, I'll just give you some options for what we can do and then before I do any work...
So the hose bib is leaking on the inside of the house any time they run the water
So normally we can rebuild that type of hose bib in this case where it's leaking on the inside
Unfortunately, the only thing we can do is cut it out and replace it. So
We're going to take a canvas drop cloth
We'll cut the sheetrock and we'll replace it. So we're gonna go map out exactly where that hose bib is
We'll cut a hole around it. We'll figure out where exactly it's at
See what kind of pipe it is and then tie it right back in
So we'll go solder an adapter on this, we'll have this go to pex
The biggest role that my family plays in working for Any Hour
It starts, I think with the company and the culture that they've created
They really care about me
And so I don't have to go to work and worry about myself all day
I can go and just take care of the customer and [there it is] doing that it really just
It takes a lot of stress off of me
So I go home and spend all my time
focusing on the family and
just letting go of work and just knowing that I put my hours in and I took care of as many people as possible and
that I can just go have fun and just be with my family and
And that's just ultimately what it boils down to is
just quality time that you spend with your family and
Just knowing that you have them for you always
Okay, no problem, is there anything else we can do for you before we go
Any garbage need to be taken out?
[Oh so beautiful.] Okay. No problem, man. Take it easy.
I was working for the sweetest lady
She's 95. She escaped from Germany when she was just really young
So she actually shook the hand of Hitler. Escaped, Germany
when she was young during the bombings,
and then moved to Scotland and during the bombings in Scotland she ended up running to Canada
and so I had the chance to repipe her house and
every chance I got I would come up and just talk to her and she would just tell me stories and
I'm gonna learn from somebody like that who's experienced so much. It was amazing
So I was actually here yesterday, the disposal was leaking and they wanted to buy one and have me install it so here we go
Yes, yes, that's what I want to hear, you guys are the best
My job's pretty cool, I get to play with play-doh all day
This is called plumber's putty this is what makes it seal watertight
Okay, so I just pulled everything out, I cleaned it all when I put it all back in. I scrubbed the bottom of it
So it's all pretty for ya
It's wired in just like it was before so you really don't have to mess with this too much
Just be careful what you put down there and then like I said get those little
Cleaner balls, the plink balls. Those would really help to keep it clean
Yeah
Good to go. So now we're headed all the way down to Nephi
I've never been down to Nephi since I've been working here. So that will be fun. They're having low water pressure
It sounds like in a few places in the house
And they mentioned something about the water heater
Let's see what this note says, Please use other door. I feel like I'm gonna slide
I appreciate that, or else I would have been on my butt down at the bottom of the stairs
Wow, yeah you've got some old pipe here too. You've got combination of
PVC that's starting to rust out galvanized
Ya got some old pipe in here, it's all PVC
So
They called us out for low water pressure in the bathroom sink and in the kitchen
And so far what I'm seeing is we come inside the house with pex and then it goes to PVC
and then it goes to galvanized
so it's all just
rusting away you can see it's dripping right there
We've seen a lot of galvanized pipe that's starting to rust starting to leak
We're gonna open up the crawlspace access point they made for the bathroom and see what it looks like underneath there
Oh gosh
I think I'm stuck. I better call Elaine before we go too far
- see what she wants to do, how crazy she wants to get
Hello is this Elaine?
So when I walked into the house you have a new water pipe that comes into the house that's pex, so it's a plastic piping
Which is really good, but then it goes into PVC and the PVC comes over and it ties in to a bunch of galvanized piping
She wants to meet up in a couple days, it kind of sounds like she wants to think about it, which is totally fine
If she wants to think about it
That way she could make the best decision and whatever
she's most comfortable with I would I would hate to do a job that she's not comfortable with so
Give her some time to think about it and she wants to meet up in a couple days
So we got rerouted, so now we're headed to Alpine
It sounds like they're trying to use their barbecue and it's just not working. It sounds like something's plugging the gas line
They think it's spiders
possibly so
We're gonna go troubleshoot a gas line and figure out why they're not getting anything out of their barbecue. So that's where we're headed now
Alpine here we come
Hey, how are ya? Good are you Kathy? It's nice to meet you. I'm Brady. I'll be your plumber today.
Perfect yeah, what's going on?
Okay
So
we are getting...
The propane tank is completely full... what we would probably do is have you just order it because if this doesn't work...
But we're gonna check just like your water heater and make sure you don't have high water pressure
Just making sure everything's up to code and safe
But then the disposal downstairs, he says it's not working. So
There's actually a couple of things we can do to troubleshoot this without having to replace it
So how often do you use this... kind of free up like that
So right now, that can move freely, before it was really hard to move
And so now if we put some water in there
To me what makes a really good day is
when you leave someone's house and you can just tell you made a bond and a friendship with them and
Every person we met today we were able to do that. And so that that's definitely a success in my books. I
I just try to focus on taking care of people
I mean that's the best part about what I do is I really really love getting to know people, meeting new people and
learning about people's life
So when you do that and you have a passion for that, I mean
I'm in a perfect line of work because I get to meet a lot of new people every single day
And everybody's problems are different and you know
their situations are a little bit different so I get to come in and help them do something, they can't do themselves. And so it's
It's just a sense of accomplishment knowing that you can take care of people like that
Hi, come here
Can you say hi. Hey sexy
Well, hopefully you've had as much fun as I've had today thanks for riding along with me

Lakers' NBA 2K19 Ratings for Starting Lineup Revealed | Heavy.com - Duration: 2:24.
Lakers' NBA 2K19 Ratings for Starting Lineup Revealed | Heavy.com
With the release of popular video game NBA 2K19 set to for September 11 (or September 7 for pre-orders), the player ratings are slowly coming out.
And when breaking down some starting lineups compared to others, it almost seems a bit unfair.
As you can probably guess, one of the teams who has an impressive all-around group in 2K19 is the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers.
But the current projected starters for the Lakers don't include point guard Lonzo Ball due to his injury, so it'd look even better with him in the mix.
But based on what we currently know, NBA writer Tomer Azarly revealed the ratings of the Lakers' starting lineup.
Kyle Kuzma, who's an 80 overall (via 2Kratings.com), is coming off the bench.
As for Ball's rating, it hasn't been released to this point, but it'll almost certainly be above Rajon Rondo's respectable 79.
The only other rating on the Lakers roster which has been released is second-year guard Josh Hart, who received a 76 overall.
Along with Ball, other players listed under their NBA 2K18 ratings include Michael Beasley, Lance Stephenson, Luol Deng, Ivica Zubac, Tyler Ennis, Alex Caruso, Gary Payton II, Travis Wear and Andre Ingram.
Rookies Moritz Wagner, Isaac Bonga and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk all have yet to receive ratings in the popular game as well.
We'll update this post as additional ratings are released, which should be soon.

Are you working for Jesus? - Duration: 1:15.
Jesus didn't die for you so you could work for Him.
Jesus died for you so you could know Him.
That has everything to do with how you worship.
Because if you think Jesus died for you so you can work for Him, you're just going to
be toiling your whole life.
You're going to be trying to prove something.
Right?
Isn't that even what the enemy did when he came to Jesus.
Jesus had just heard God, the Father, in a loud booming voice say, "This is my Son, in
whom I'm well pleased."
Right?
The very next verse, Jesus goes into the wilderness.
And what does the enemy do?
He comes to Him and says, "Well if You really are the Son of God?
You should probably do something to prove it."
Here, do this great work.
Turn this stone into bread.
Did Jesus need to do that to prove that He was the Son of God?
Did He need to do that to prove His worth and His value?
No.
But that's what the enemy likes to do.
He likes to attach our identity to our work, and our service, and how hard we work.
Listen, again, Jesus didn't die for you so you could work for Him.
Jesus died for you so you could know Him.

New Samsung Leak Reveals Software For Faster Galaxy S10 | Tech News - Duration: 2:24.
If there's one area where Samsung falls behind the smartphone competition, it's
in the area of updates to Android.
That looks set to change with the Galaxy S10, as the latest leaked details from online benchmarking
tools revealing test software that is more up to date than ever before.
With the Galaxy S10 family set to be launched early next year, it will come as no surprise
that the South Korean company is busy testing both the hardware and software of the S10.
I'd expect the final hardware configuration to be pretty much locked in, but software
is a different matter.
That can be iterated on right up to the launch date, and beyond.
It is this 'beyond' part that has been Samsung's weak point in the past.
Rolling out updates to Android has been a cumbersome process.
This is something that Google is aware of and has taken steps to address.
Part of the solution is for Android One, a program where there are far fewer manufacturer
implementations and google controls the update process.
That's not for everyone, especially a company like Samsung where the visual identity of
its UI, Samsung Experience (nee TouchWiz), is important.
Instead the changes to Android's underlying structure to make Android updates easier to
implement and roll out is in play.
Here's where it gets fun.
Android 9 Pie was released less than a month ago.
To have the code up and running on the S9+, to the point where it can be run through external
benchmarking tools, illustrates a significant increase in development pace.
That means that Galaxy S9 and S9+ owners can expect to see the latest version of Android
sooner than expected.
And that bodes well for the Galaxy S10 family.
While I would still expect the S10 to launch with Android 9.0, the real benefit of the
fast turnaround should allow Samsung to distribute updates to the OS,
but it patches, security updates, or major version jumps, in a faster and more efficient
manner.
The speed that Apple can update its limited feel of devices remains impressive.
If Samsung can match (or even get close to that pace), then the Galaxy S10 will be a
little bit more attractive to potential customers.

Baltimore Shelter Caring For 10-Week-Old Puppy Who Had His Ears Cruelly Cut Off - Duration: 3:11.
Claude just wants to be a normal puppy, but they 10-week-old dog is struggling because of cruel act of animal abuse
According to a Facebook post from Baltimore Animal Care & Rescue Shelter (BARCS), Claude with found with his ears cruelly and inhumanely cut off in a way that "was done using poor instruments (such as household objects), leaving him with tissue damage, pain and infection
" This mutilation also left Claude struggling to do the most basic things. "In the arms of our staff, little Claude whimpers and cries
When he hears an interesting sound, he attempts to tilt his head and move what is left of his ears, but only finds himself in more pain
He's only 10 weeks old, and just trying to do natural puppy behaviors … but he can't," BARCS wrote in their Facebook post about the puppy's abuse
Claude ended up in BARCS care after he, several other puppies and two adult dogs (likely the parents to the pups) were seized by Baltimore City Animal Control and brought to the shelter
Animal Control officers found the dogs after receiving a call about the animals. The adult dogs were tied to a tree and the puppies were for sale when the authorities arrived
All of the animals were taken to the safety of BARCS. Peyton Manning Takes Home Abused Rescue Puppy Since arriving at the shelter, Claude has undergone emergency surgery to treat his infected wounds
Unfortunately, this surgery caused the puppy to lose more of his ear structure. Even though he has a long road ahead of him, Claude is not giving up and neither is BARCS
The shelter is currently raising money for the puppy's care. They are also using this tragic case as an example of why dog owners should never crop their canine's ears
"Not only does ear cropping create unnecessary physical pain and discomfort for dogs, but it can also leave animals with lasting trauma," the shelter wrote
Adding that, "dogs without ears are more at risk for reoccurring ear infections and medical complications throughout their life
" While BARCS works on healing Claude, Baltimore City Animal Control is working to get justice for the little dog
There is an open investigation. If you are able to provide any further information on this case, please call Detective Fritzges with the BCPD Animal Abuse Unit at 443-681-0101

Conservation for the Future - Soil Health - Duration: 4:48.
the nrcs's mission is to help people help the land that's that's our
touchstone our job is made easy when we have highly motivated people who take
the guidance we provide and more or less run with it
erosion is one of the natural resource concerns that we try to help
agricultural producers address and so this definitely was an issue for them
Stacey and I have worked together now for maybe four years together five years
as the NRCS representative she knows our farm and is able to see some of the
needs that our farm has so she's able to help us proactively this year the the
production is adding back to the soil the soil is the product
hi my name is Amanda Gillette and my husband and I are no-till farmers and ranchers
the workshops that NRCS put on brought people from all over the country which
really helped give us a lot of information and contacts of people to
help us and how to figure out how to no-till farm
I really learned what Amanda was doing and was really encouraged by her determination
and she was just persistent in in making it work
Glen and I are young farmers and we have a lot of bills to pay and machinery to pay for
in those those first few getting over those first few years are a real struggle
the CSP helped us enormously to get over that hump
well our mission is helping people help the land
so if we have producers like this that are no tilling with diverse cropping rotations
there's minimal to no erosion and that's huge
I'm Mitch Auer and we farm ten to twelve thousand acres right now in our total farm
we're in the Broadview what we call the Broadview basin
just a few miles east of the town of Broadview outside of Billings
NRCS has had a good long-standing relationship with the Auer family
wind erosion is you know something that the Soil Conservation Service started out
trying to decrease 80 years ago when we started out with the Dust Bowl
we've taken fields that were just mediocre not very uh not very not very clean and
we're able to get the alfalfa through it and boost the fertilizer nitrogen in the soil
it's not just the agriculture that's a good story here I think it's
the community and the learning and the sharing that's a good story here
my name is John Wiegand from Shelby Montana well I started farming in 1983 my grandfather
started here in 1913 summer fallow is not something I want if there's moisture
to grow a crop i want to grow a crop and improve the soil thereby
we helped John and Bonnie put in this this field you're seeing here which is a grass
based agriculture it's keeping the soil covered so the it virtually eliminates
wind erosion water erosion nutrient cycling becomes a more constant thing
he doesn't have to put any any fertilizer on this the ground he doesn't have to
spray it with any herbicides so it saves him money the crop takes care of itself
but the neat thing here is this is going to provide you lots of nitrogen for the
next crop and not just not just when you plant the crop but you know it'll
release through the season right well and that's the idea plus a cash crop
yeah we've been given this soil it's this is not ours to keep we just have it
for a short period of time and it's our responsibility to take good care of it
that's how I see it and if you can say when you're dead and gone that yeah he took
care of that soil he made it better then then you're successful my opinion

Energetic Tools for Being with Grief - Duration: 3:35.
It is, it's like dropping down roots.
I get really low and really wide.
That's the first thing, really stable
and it's hard to describe, it's such a felt experience.
And the personal me, it just goes away.
I just have to put it aside.
So, whereas I might have been in an experience
of an opinion I have about something
or something I like or dislike
or it's some kind of personal stuff.
That just has to go away.
What I think about something
has to completely leave the picture.
And in a way what I feel about it has
to leave the picture too
because I need to be able to hold a space
for everyone else to be in their feelings.
And it's a kind of coming undone experience.
And Starhawk says you need a pot to boil water in.
You have to have a container
in which transformation can happen.
So I hold that container.
It's not me.
It's all the spirit presences that are holding it,
but I have a role in that.
And I have to not feel the way I would.
You know, I'm a total crier.
I cry at the polling booth.
Look at democracy, ahh.
I mean I'm emotional about all of these things.
I get really tender about lots of things,
but I don't cry very much when I'm working with families.
I take that aside and I have to learn how to feel
but not feel right here.
So I have this sense of,
I literally feel the outside edge of my aura.
So people feel met and they know that I'm feeling with them.
There's an empathy there,
but it's out here, it's not in here.
And that leaves me, in here, able to be tuning
into what wants to happen.
Grief has an upward energy.
Like, it bubbles up.
It wells up and if we want to push it down, that makes it,
so it's an up, down thing.
And when I'm in a situation where the intensity
of the emotion is so strong
and I start to feel grief coming up in me.
If I push it down that occupies a lot of my bandwidth,
being involved in pushing that down.
And I can't be fully present
because suddenly I'm clenching something down.
So I just go with the energy and go up with it
and it's a felt sensation.
Oop, here it comes, okay.
I'm just going to ride this right up and out.
And grief feels universalizing.
When we're in it, it feels like that's all there is,
all there ever has been or will be.
That's all there is.
And when I go up and out, I literally take my awareness up
and I look at the whole room.
I get this above view and then I see oh,
there's this place of really intense grief
and there's beauty, and there's love
and there's a cat.
I just put it in context so I'm not overwhelmed by it,
and it's this amazing technique where I just ride it up,
put it in context and then I can come back down again,
and then it's not stuck in me.

Banyana Banyana draw Botswana‚ Madagascar and Malawi for Cosafa Cup
Banyana Banyana draw Botswana‚ Madagascar and Malawi for Cosafa Cup.
Banyana Banyana have been handed what looks a gentle draw in the pool stages of the 2018 Cosafa Women's Championship that will be staged in the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality from September 12 to 22.
SA‚ who have selected a full-strength squad for the regional tournament‚ will face-off against Botswana‚ Madagascar and Malawi in Group A.
Coach Desiree Ellis is using the tournament to prepare for the crucial 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations that gets under way in Ghana in November‚ and which will serve as qualifiers for the 2019 Fifa Women's World Cup in France.
"People might look at this and think it is an easy group‚ but nothing is easy in this game‚" Ellis said.
"Botswana gave us a good run last year [in a 1-1 draw]‚ so we know what we are up against." Group B contains Zambia‚ who have also qualified for the Women's Nations Cup‚ Central African guest nation Cameroon‚ Lesotho and Mozambique.
Cameroon are ranked third on the African continent after Nigeria and Ghana‚ and their inclusion in the field this year will certainly add some intrigue.
Group C sees Zimbabwe‚ runners-up to SA in 2017‚ take on Swaziland‚ Namibia and East African guest nation Uganda.
Only the top three teams and the best runner-up advance to the semifinals.
SA have won four of the previous five regional tournaments‚ only missing out in 2011 when they were defeated by Zimbabwe in the decider.
Ellis has selected all of her overseas-based players‚ including the Houston Dash trio of captain Janine van Wyk‚ Thembi Kgatlana and Linda Motlhalo.
Banyana have never qualified for the Women's World Cup before and that remains a major aim for the side this year.
