Waching daily Aug 30 2018

CS:GO is not a perfect game by any stretch of the imagination. It has its issues from tick rate,

(Stream)

To smurfing

(Stream)

To toxicity.

(Stream)

But none of these issues stack up to Counter-Strike's biggest problem.

Cheating.

(Stream)

So we all know that cheating sucks,

and what's even worse is that it often feels like Valve isn't actually doing anything about it.

CS:GO's lack of an intrusive anti-cheat system has left a lot of people without any faith

in the existing VAC system.

See, CS:GO is a really attractive game to cheat in, partly because of its snappy combat.

Here's a Valve at a GDC talk in 2018

"The design is this very satisfying combat experience where almost any weapon in the game can be a

one-shot kill

But that does also sort of fail to disincentivize cheating."

The game is also relatively cheap and easy to run compared to games like Call of Duty or Battlefield.

It's also extremely easy to start up a new account once one of your old ones gets banned.

So there are a lot of cheaters.

According to SteamDB, thousands of people get VAC banned every single day,

and when a wave hits,

60 thousand people can get hit by the ban hammer all at once.

It's at the point where real great plays from honest players are being called out

as an example of a cheater who hasn't been caught yet.

"It's the same pattern. He locks on the enemy that starts doing his weird f*cking shape.

This one's right on crisp clean lock boys."

So, what does Valve do to combat cheating. The current system works on two fronts.

The first is VAC, which looks for identified and installed cheating programs, and also checks the game files

to make sure nothing's been tampered with.

The other front is Overwatch.

Overwatch lets a selected group watch a reported players matches to determine if they're cheating or not.

If enough people vote that the player is a hacker they get hit by the banhammer

But that existing system is exactly why cheating has flourished in CS:GO.

So Valve began developing VACNet in 2016 after

massive community outrage regarding the cheating issue.

"Only thing the community was talking about was cheating.

It was this just deafening conversation."

They silently deployed it at the beginning of 2017.

"Here we deployed VACnet and you can see hey we started getting more convictions, that's great."

VACnet is a deep learning tool that works to get as many people into the Overwatch system as possible.

"VACnet gets a conviction when

it submits a case it convicts 80 to 95 percent of the time."

Valve also developed a trust score system

designed to put cheaters in matches with other cheaters.

This makes sure that they play with each other while clean players play with other clean players.

In theory as VACnet gets rolling and

more and more cheaters get banned the game should feel more fair

That's because when those cheaters return to the game,

they'll all be matched up against each other due to their trust score

But the issue is that the game's top players have already left Valve's matchmaking system.

And while they'll be under VACnet's watchful eye it all seems like too little too late.

The community has found something of a solution to the cheating that runs rampant

on Valve's official matchmaking servers.

ESEA and Faceit offer

third-party pay to play servers with robust anti-cheat systems.

FaceIt even has a free version with a lot of the same benefits.

Neither Valve nor ESEA or Faceit want to show their hands

and reveal exactly how their anti-cheats work, which makes sense.

If no one knows how the anti-cheat works then cheaters will never be able to beat it

What we do know is that both ESEA and Faceit use intrusive anti cheats,

which check what else is going on in your computer while you're playing, and Valve uses a much

simpler system.

"ESEA can f*cking watch porn with me. Let me tell you dude

I could f***ing pull up a porn thing and some f***ing dev over at ESEA can watch it with me

having a grand ol' time. It's very intrusive.

So they have to let you know that it's very intrusive.

They can tell you exactly what the f*** you're doing on your comp homie."

And that's not the only reason that CS:GO players have switched over. Faceit and ESEA boast servers with

128 tick. The rate at which the server refreshes.

That's double what Valve has and something the community has wanted for a long time.

There's also a general

understanding that players are going to be less toxic and more serious on these services

because they're often paying for the right to play.

Now that's not always the case, toxicity usually finds a way to seep through.

(Stream)

And Rank S and FPL, the top ranks on the servers, don't have a lot of spots to go around.

Which means only the best players get to have that experience.

But overall third-party software provides the best experience for CS:GO pros to play against other pros.

Faceit and ESEA even offer payout for the top performers in each region at the end of the season.

This system affects real players from Silver to Global from Rank D minus to S. From Bronze to Pro League.

No matter where you play though, if you're an unknown or a less known player,

people are more likely to assume you're cheating than that

you actually earned your rank.

And the most recent example of this is 17 year old Faceit Pro League player d0cc.

D0cc ripped his way through the Faceit ranks and made it to Pro League, all without ever using a mic.

Communication is key in high-level CS and this was pretty unusual.

(Stream)

He even streamed his games but with no camera, And again

No mic. This gave him an air of mystery that led to a lot of online

speculation about his actual skill.

On the surface d0cc is a really talented player. He's even gotten some praise from top pros.

(Stream)

But the overwhelming voice of people accusing d0cc of cheating

overshadowed his skill. Fellow Dutchman ChrisJ reached out to help d0cc prove his innocence

But he refused.

"I asked him if he could come over and play from my place

But he says he cannot come until he's 18.

It's like whatever if he doesn't want to prove himself, then it's strange to me

but I cannot force him."

d0cc eventually met up with Faceit in the Netherlands to play under supervised conditions

and prove his legitimacy so he could join the ranks of FPL.

Sure he passed but his reputation is tarnished.

If d0cc ever chooses to pursue a career in CS:GO later on in life, those accusations

of cheating or going to haunt him and d0cc's story is eerily similar to Ropz.

Ropz was an up-and-coming player in the EU FPL and just like d0cc, he had to deal with plenty of

accusations of cheating early on in his career.

"He might be cheating actually. Watch this sh*t. He does like these quick looks.

That's so weird bro. Like why are you doing that."

"And did it. He did it right after he got the kill.

I think it's just one of these things where he has an OCD twitch.

I don't think he cheats.

I don't think they're right about that, you gotta watch all his streams and see why he's looking there.

I think it's just some OCD."

The community picked apart every aspect of his play to try and prove that he was cheating.

And just like D0cc, Ropz's eventually travelled to meet with Faceit employees

and play under supervised conditions to prove his legitimacy.

He also passed and is now a pro player playing for Mousesports.

Faceit might trust our anti-cheat but after years of dealing with cheaters running rampant

on Valve's official matchmaking services,

They don't trust anyone. The lack of pros on matchmaking is a unique problem to CS:GO.

League, Dota, Overwatch, all the major esports titles have pros in the

highest echelon of their matchmaking servers.

CS:GO on the other hand is so broken that it needs third parties to come in and clean up the mess.

"To really have fun in the game and feel like you're playing anything close to what pros play.

You tend to need some third party

service, that's not really the case in League of Legends

that actually got a fairly decent ranked system. Overwatch likewise, not really the case."

But Valve is off to a good start when it comes to fixing matchmaking.

The new more efficient anti-cheat is unbelievably important for the longevity of a competitive multiplayer

game.

They can change the server and even tackling smurfing might bring a lot of players back.

But none of that is ever going to matter to the top level of players.

They've left matchmaking behind and as ESEA and Faceit are rapidly improving

there's basically no downside to playing on them. Besides some players' monthly fee.

Sure the vast majority of CS' casual audience will reap the benefits of Valve's changes,

but the pros are never coming back.

'Budget constraints' hampering Baxter's search for Bafana assistant - Duration: 4:41.

'Budget constraints' hampering Baxter's search for Bafana assistant

'Budget constraints' hampering Baxter's search for Bafana assistant.

Stuart Baxter says the issue of the appointment of his permanent second Bafana Bafana assistant-coach has not been resolved due to budget and political constraints.

The Bafana coach said one issue was that the South African Football Association (Safa) cannot simply hire anyone due to budget limitations.

He said the political constraint was that Safa cannot just poach someone from a Premier Soccer League club.

Baxter did "trial" former Manchester United midfielder Quinton Fortune on a temporary basis last year but that move backfired over a public backlash to someone who as a player often turned his back on the national team.

For the most part‚ since his appointment a year and three months ago‚ Baxter has continued with just the one assistant‚ Thabo Senong.

When Senong was unavailable SA Under-17 coach Molefi Ntseki filled in.

Baxter was asked‚ as he announced his squad this week for the September 8 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya in Durban‚ about not having his preferred sounding boards as assistants.

"I wouldn't say‚ 'My preferred sounding boards'‚ because I've got a lot of time for the people who have been assisting me‚" the coach said.

"I think it's been a difficult one because obviously budgets come into play.

We can't do what Cameroon just have and take in Patrick Kluivert and the Dutch lot [head coach Clarence Seedorf].

"You know‚ we have budget constraints and I understand that.

It's nothing where I accuse anybody of letting me down.

"We have budget constraints and we also have political constraints.

When I say that I mean political within our game.

"We can't just go and steal from the clubs at the drop of a hat.

We have to try and negotiate and at some point you work on it‚ and then it doesn't work.

"The people who we have got‚ Thabo has been working with his age-group [the Under-20s and U-23s]‚ and Molefi's an excellent character and coach and I've got no problem working with him.

"I think as soon as possible we need to tie it down.

But tying it down is part of a bigger picture as well‚ because Neil [Tovey‚ Safa's technical director] has got other programmes he's working on as well.

"And we need to make sure that everything is dovetailed.

We can't just sequester this one and he may not want to be there.

"So it is a bit frustrating.

and not because I don't like the people I'm working with.

It is just frustrating knowing that we have not nailed it down.

"But [the reason for] that is partly political and partly financial." Bafana meet Libya in their second Cameroon 2019 Afcon qualifier‚ having beaten Nigeria 2-0 in their opening game in Uyo in June 2017.

Preparing for surgery at Mary Washington Hospital - Duration: 5:34.

Welcome to Mary Washington Hospital and thank you for choosing us for your procedure.

The video you're watching will provide information about each step of your surgical journey and the progression of activities

you'll be taking towards improved health and a better quality of life.

We're here to keep you and your caregivers informed every step of the way. Now, let's get started!

Once your physician has scheduled your surgery,

please call centralized scheduling at 540.741.2000 for a pre-admission testing appointment.

On the day of your appointment, you will receive a phone call from a nurse who will interview you about your medical history,

any past surgeries you've had, and the medications that you take.

Your surgeon may have you come into pre-admission testing to bring in your preoperative paperwork and to complete any

preoperative tests, which will need to be completed ideally, seven days prior to your procedure and no less than three days before surgery.

Depending on the type of surgery you are receiving, you may be asked to come in and see a nurse practitioner in

addition to the nurse phone call.

During this on-site visit, you'll be given a complete physical. You'll discuss your health history and receive preoperative education,

about when to stop eating and drinking,

what time to arrive for the surgery and

you'll receive directions about medications you may take on the day of surgery. At this on-site appointment,

we can complete any physician ordered additional testing such as labs,

EKGs, or x-rays prior to your procedure.

Additionally, the nurse practitioner may identify

specialists that need to be seen. Whether you receive a phone call or come in to visit with the nurse,

it's a great time to ask questions! On the day of your surgery, please arrive on time.

We have free valet service available from the front entrance of the hospital and they can park your car for you.

Valet service is available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. As you enter

the hospital, patient registration is located on the left side of the lobby.

You'll be asked to provide identification and we'll collect a co-pay if appropriate.

A volunteer will escort you to the surgical waiting room on the second floor.

A nurse will come to retrieve you and your family or friends will wait in the surgical waiting room while you are prepped for surgery.

You may be given a Bair Hugger gown to wear that feels a bit like paper,

but it's attached to a heater hose that will keep you warm and comfortable.

Once settled in, you'll meet your team that will be working with you. This is composed of an

anesthesiologist, an IV therapist and nurses

who will be with you. At this time,

a family member or friend may be allowed to stay with you until you are wheeled to the surgical suite.

Sometimes, your surgery may be delayed, but we do our best to keep you informed.

All surgeries are unique and sometimes emergencies happen, so we appreciate your patience.

Once it's time for your surgery,

we will wheel you into the surgical suite and your family or friends will be asked to provide a cell phone number

so that we can keep them informed on your progress on an hourly basis. After the surgery is completed,

the surgeon will meet with your family or friend in a consultation room to provide an update.

You may still be in the operating room or the recovery area, also known as PACU, but for your safety and theirs, your

caregivers are not typically allowed to join you until you are comfortably settled in your hospital room.

Please note that you may be in recovery for a while, as it sometimes takes a while to prepare a room for you.

Unlike a hotel, where you have a room waiting for you, a hospital

sometimes can become very busy without notice and rooms may not be readily available.

While you wait, we'll be keeping you warm and comfortable in the PACU.

Once you arrive in your hospital room, the nurses will show you how to operate your bed

which will move up and down, recline and sit up. Most people experience some level of pain

so we will help you manage this pain during the hours following your surgery.

Nausea and vomiting occasionally occur after surgery, so don't be alarmed if this happens. We will help you with medications to ease your discomfort.

Assistance is available to help you get in and out of bed, sit in a chair, take deep breaths, and cough.

Once in your room, your family and friends are welcome to visit.

Typically during your stay, you may receive a visit from one of our hospital leaders who will ask you questions

regarding your experience at Mary Washington Hospital. We value your feedback and this is perfect time to voice concerns or compliments.

Before you go home,

please make arrangements for a responsible adult to transport you.

During discharge, a nurse will review instructions and the medication list with you.

If you or a family member have questions,

please be sure to write them down during your stay and present them to a nurse, physician, or leader prior to your discharge.

We are here to help and we want to make sure that you clearly understand how to reach your goal of improved health.

Within 24 to 48 hours after discharge,

you will receive a call from a Mary Washington Health Link nurse who will be checking on your progress.

We want to thank you again for choosing to have your surgery at Mary Washington Hospital.

Our goal is to always be there for you and provide a positive surgical journey that opens doors to an improved quality of life!

A Place Like Home for Family with XLA | The Children's Inn at NIH - Duration: 2:26.

We are here for our 14th year at The Children's Inn at NIH.

Our four boys are here with us. Three of our boys --

Holden, Harrison and Davis are part of a clinical study at NIH. We're really grateful that they get to be part of that study.

I'm Holden Green. I'm 15. I've been coming to The Children's Inn for 14 years, and

I have X-linked agammaglobulinemia, or XLA for short.

It's a primary immunodeficiency, which means their bodies' immune systems are only about half as effective as a

normal person's immune system. and there's a wonderful immunologist at NIH -- Dr. Gulbu Uzel --

who is following them as part of her study and

making sure they stay really healthy.

I'm here because I have a rare immune disease that I'm part of a clinical trial with NIH.

The Children's Inn really helps me be part of that trial because it's such a nice environment to stay in and there's a lot

of fun activities for teens, and there was a lot of fun activities when I was a lot younger.

The Children's Inn is just a wonderful engaging place

for the kids to be. There's an outdoor play space, a sports court and a game room.

Makes you feel like you're not at the hospital basically. It's really a nice place.

People are comfortable. People are welcoming. And,

because you're across the street from,

I think, the best medical center in the country

yet you get to cross that street and be completely removed from all the medical stuff.

It's the ability to have that rather than having

a week or two at the hospital that I think makes it for a lot of families to be able to

participate in these trials. I know it has for us.

The family time that we get to spend here together

really helps me feel comfortable. And, just seeing everybody yet having your own private room, but shared kitchens --

It makes it feel more of a community and less of a hotel. They really do everything to make it feel just like home

so that you feel really comfortable with all the medical needs the kids might have. We really want to thank

the donors who give to The Children's Inn, the donors who make NIH clinical trials possible.

Without their help, without their efforts

we would not have the quality of life that we have for our boys, that we dreamed of for our boys.

So we just can't express how grateful we are for that.

Springbok duo back for Western Province - Duration: 4:50.

Springbok duo back for Western Province

Springbok duo back for Western Province.

Springbok centre Damian de Allende and tighthead prop Wilco Louw will feature for Western province in their Currie Cup round three match against the Pumas in Nelspruit on Friday.

The pair have been released from the Springbok squad this week but Louw is likely to fly to Australia with the national team on Sunday.

Dillyn Leyds will continue as captain and shifts to fullback‚ with two new wings in SP Marais and Sergeal Petersen and De Allende in midfield alongside Ruhan Nel.

Craig Barry and Dan du Plessis join Herschel Jantjies as backline cover on the replacements bench.

In the forward pack Ernst van Rhyn comes into the starting lineup at lock with Chris van Zyl among the replacements on his return from injury‚ while Louw's inclusion sees Michael Kumbirai move to the replacements bench as well.

The Pumas beat WP in Nelspruit in the corresponding fixture last year‚ which serves as a warning for the defending Currie Cup champions.

The Stormers failed to win a single away game in Super Rugby 2018‚ but that won't have a negative impact on WP in the Currie Cup according to defence coach Norman Laker.

"We have just been in France for two games and we were comfortable playing there so I don't think we have any problems playing away‚" Laker said.

"Plus you remember that while we may have struggled a bit in some away games last year‚ we did finish the Currie Cup season by winning a final at Kings Park.

We also beat the Sharks in Durban two weeks before that too.

"So there were two away wins in a row in big games and if there was any problem playing away it was swept away with those results.

"We have learned our lessons from last year.

We won't be underestimating the Pumas.

We know that with the competition being played over just six rounds there is no chance of us bouncing back from mistakes.

"We have to be up for every game.

We respect the Pumas and will be going to Mbombela anticipating a tough battle.

"Last year we did not have a preseason before the Currie Cup.

We just went straight into it without any real preparation or work on the team gelling‚" said Laker.

"We had a great tour of France and Montpellier in particular gave us the perfect preparation for the Pumas game in that they are a very physical team‚ like the Pumas.

"We lost at Mbombela last year but if we just focus on what we do and focus on getting it right‚ we should be okay.

"We had a tough opening game against the Cheetahs in difficult conditions but we came through it well and were very pleased with our performance.

"We have set ourselves a certain standard and we aim to keep building and getting better the longer the season progresses." Western Province: 15 Dillyn Leyds (captain)‚ 14 Sergeal Petersen‚ 13 Ruhan Nel‚ 12 Damian de Allende‚ 11 SP Marais‚ 10 Josh Stander‚ 9 Jano Vermaak‚ 8 Juarno Augustus‚ 7 Kobus van Dyk‚ 6 Sikhumbuzo Notshe‚ 5 JD Schickerling‚ 4 Ernst van Rhyn‚ 3 Wilco Louw‚ 2 Scarra Ntubeni‚ 1 Ali Vermaak.

Replacements: 16 Chad Solomon‚ 17 Caylib Oosthuizen‚ 18 Michael Kumbirai‚ 19 Chris van Zyl‚ 20 Herschel Jantjies‚ 21 Dan du Plessis‚ 22 Craig Barry.

Battery Solutions for Powering Sony Mirrorless and DSLR's - Duration: 10:20.

Are you trying to run your camera with these we do the batteries?

Send my battery solutions here on the slanted lens blow for dslr's and for Sony mirrorless by any Pro

Check it out. Next on slanted lens

Hi, this is JP Morgan today on slanted lens we're gonna talk about battery solutions for DSLRs and for Sony mirrorless cameras

Why are we talking about this because it's a constant frustration for me on set. I like using DSLRs

I like using the Sony mirrorless sunset as a cinema camera solution

But the battery solution has never been as effective as the cameras were when you're working on sets

So there's a couple of things I came up with first off the sony a7r 2 battery was just it impossible

Impossible that one didn't work for five minutes. It wasn't worth the time took to put it into the camera

It really wasn't the new battery from Sony is much better

This gives us a lot more time on camera, but it still ends up

I'm about to the point where I want to continue in my interview. It's going great

The battery's getting close and now I start thinking about do I have enough battery time?

Do I have enough and it just gets frustrating? I don't like that one either. These are good batteries

Don't get me wrong. If you're doing still photography. These will shoot all day long

Well may not quite all day long, but they'll shoot a long long time

But if you're doing cinema and you got a screen going and you're shooting video, these are just not a good solution

need something else

So I've turned to more of a cinema solution to run my DSLR cameras for a couple of reasons

these 98 watt batteries are perfect for traveling because you can carry them onto the airplane with you and they don't harass you and you

Got plenty of battery solution when you get to the location

So here's how I'm using these things and there's several different ways to attach them to the camera

to attach them to the light stands are the things you're working on to be able to power these cameras in any

situation that they're in

number one simply an AC power supply

That has a dummy battery you plug this in the back of your camera plug this into the wall

And you now have power all day long?

Which is a great solution if you're standing right next to power all day long. It is not a great time lapse solution

there's not a solution if you're on set and you want to be moving your camera all around but if you're gonna set up and

do an interview and talk to someone for several hours or for a couple hours or something a

power solution is not a bad way to go plug it in and use it if I put a camera over head and

I don't want to have to touch it and I use cameras overhead like right now a lot

Then an AC power supply is a great way to go

You can power your camera not have to worry about ever having to touch it and you can run it all day long now

I looked up online and there are some super cheap versions of this online like 60 bucks

beware, those are just not great long-term solutions get something that's going to last you a little while if you're not close to

A power supply then a great solution is a DTaP with a dummy battery that goes to your camera

They make these for Sony's they make these for canons

They make them for all the different cameras out there the nice thing about this

Is it now it hooks to this battery and you can take the camera anywhere you want?

So the problem is how do I hold this battery around and it's just it's a battery. It's too heavy

It's just hard to deal with there's a way to get this battery next to your camera and run it off from this DTaP cable

So this is a golden mount plate I've taken off from another light that I had

I had a couple of these laying around that's just really a holder for the battery

there's nothing electrical about it and I'm gonna put a quarter twenty female corner 20 on this plate and it's just got a

Adhesive on the back and I'm just gonna stick it right in this corner right here

I do not have enough faith in the mighty mount. So I'm gonna glue the heck out of this thing with

Superglue something to make sure that that is not going to go anywhere. I'm gonna let that dry now

So the goal here is to be able to hook this on to either a bogan clamp super clamp

What do we call these guys? So I'm just gonna simply take this as soon as this dries

I will have this on here now. I have a plate to be able to hold my battery and this will attach here and

That will clamp on to the boom. That's gonna hold my camera now

This becomes a feed to my camera so I can power my camera and here it is overhead. Let's take a look at it

It's just a simple

Cook that under plates I've now got my cable goes into my camera

I can turn this battery on that battery's gonna run that mark three overhead for a long long long long time

All right, take it away camera goes away

Yeah, that's not easy to do

If you don't want to do a DIY battery plate

Then the teletype makes this great dummy gold mount battery plate and they make it envy mount as well that has a stand mount

So hook that on to a stand and if you happen to have a D tap to dummy battery

you hook your D tap on the back of your

End of the camera and you're good to go so there's one by Intel attack

Nd Pro Tools also makes a battery plate with a dummy battery, but it's kind of quarter-twenty spot on the back of it

This is perfect because now that corner 20 can just simply go into this little stand little clamp that they have

and

That little clamp

Can hook it on to your stand now? You've got a dummy battery that goes right into your camera. You're good to go

Added bonus this nd Pro Tools gold mount quarter 20 plate

And it's kind of battery connected to it can also serve it's a dummy battery

Just simply unplug this out of your camera now. I've got a D tap on the side

Any cable that goes to any camera? I can hook up D tap on the side and this now becomes a dummy battery or I

Can hook it into two cameras and then two cameras off from the same battery added bonus

So let's talk about some cinema style solutions here

The number one and probably the cheapest if you own Sony l-series type batteries is this Sony l-series battery pack

This takes two sony l series batteries

Both of them have to be on then

This is a dummy battery that goes to it a7 r2 so it's a double rail system double rail system

All these cinema solutions are gonna run on a double rail system

Which means you hook this to the two rails and that's your power supplies

You can put it up. But if you want to get it out of the way, you put it down

You can hook it wherever you want

If you want to put it in the front you put on the front depends on where you want it

Most people put it towards the back, but that's a great solution

If you already have these sony l series batteries because it's a very inexpensive

Solution to be able to get power to your camera and these are gonna run a lot longer

These L series batteries come in a lot of different sizes

So a lot of different options is gonna make this run a long long time

Now if you have gold mount batteries like I do

then this is a great solution because this is a battery plate a gold mount plate and

This has a double rail system hooks onto the back of your camera right there

Tighten it down and you're ready to go

you can put this battery up out or

like I say you put it in front anywhere you want to put it but that now hooks my golden mount batteries go on to

The plate and this becomes a great solutions got the dummy battery that goes into the camera

They have these for the h7 r3 as well as the Mark threes and fours

I mean

There's just these kinds of cinema style

Solutions this I think is a really good solution

If you have a V mount battery or a gold mount battery

They come in both of those different plates so you can put on the back your camera, you know

It's swapping batteries out all the time, which is really my goal

That's why we're doing this now one of the problems about these batteries is that they're very slow to recharge

It takes several hours to get these things to recharge

That's why I'm excited about the fact that any probe came up with this super charger

This cuts the battery charging time

Will these 98 watt batteries down to like an hour and 15 minutes?

which is incredible because I think these can go as high as

Seven hours on some charger depend on the charger not all chargers are the same and get a very cheap charger and it'll take forever

to charge one of these batteries but where the super charger takes about an hour and 15 minutes do that 98 watt battery and

Also, this will make sure that your battery is not under charge. It'll make sure it's not overcharge

It will shut down automatically if the battery starts to overheat

The super charger is worth the money because it gets your batteries off the charging and back in a service a lot

Supercharger Andy pearl also makes a 16 point 8 volt 1 amp

wall charger

What I love about this is just the fact that I can throw this in my bag and I can charge my batteries and this

Is all I have this tiny little thing goes with thee the supercharger is fabulous

But it's big the big charger that puts 2 batteries on it is huge

This makes a very compact travel friendly way to charge your batteries when you're on location

I think that's a great solution but last of all a little bonus

And this is a little they call this an D

USB

Adapter the new nd Pro batteries already come with the USB not all of these gold mount batteries do a lot of my old batteries

do not plug this in you now have the ability to not only run your camera through the DTaP but also to

Charge your phone on that USB, which is a great option because there's so many apps that run my time-lapse that run different devices

I want to be able to charge my phone while I'm shooting with my camera great solution there

so there you have it some great solutions on how to run your camera both your DSLR or your mirrorless camera when you're out on

Location I believe if you're in a cinema style situation doing interviews doing doc style work

You need a longer battery type solution

You truly do something that's going to allow you to shoot a long time and not have to worry about battery

You don't want to have to be out on location trying to find power trying to deal with all that charger batteries

take a good-size battery that's going to hook to your cinema rails or

Onto the stand or the overhead camera and let it run all day long. That's a solution that really makes sense

Jesus didn't die for you so you could work for Him.

Jesus died for you so you could know Him.

That has everything to do with how you worship.

Because if you think Jesus died for you so you can work for Him, you're just going to

be toiling your whole life.

You're going to be trying to prove something.

Right?

Isn't that even what the enemy did when he came to Jesus.

Jesus had just heard God, the Father, in a loud booming voice say, "This is my Son, in

whom I'm well pleased."

Right?

The very next verse, Jesus goes into the wilderness.

And what does the enemy do?

He comes to Him and says, "Well if You really are the Son of God?

You should probably do something to prove it."

Here, do this great work.

Turn this stone into bread.

Did Jesus need to do that to prove that He was the Son of God?

Did He need to do that to prove His worth and His value?

No.

But that's what the enemy likes to do.

He likes to attach our identity to our work, and our service, and how hard we work.

Listen, again, Jesus didn't die for you so you could work for Him.

Why We Need to Rise Up for Rent Control • BRAVE NEW FILMS - Duration: 1:33.

- The rent is too damn high!

- In 1995, the legislature passed the Costa-Hawkins Rental Housing Act.

- Costa-Hawkins is a law in California that makes it so single-family homes cannot be

put under rent control, even in jurisdictions that have rent control ordinances.

- Since the mortgage crisis of 2008, large Wall Street financial institutions, like the

global private equity firm, Blackstone, have gobbled up millions of foreclosed single-family homes.

- Stephen Schwarzman is the current CEO of Blackstone.

- It doesn't matter to them, they just want, you know,

they want their rent money.

- Repealing Costa-Hawkins would give

local government the ability to reduce

a great deal of human suffering.

Rising rents have caused widespread eviction,

displacement, and disruption of families' lives.

Involuntary moving has serious and harmful, physical

and mental health effects

on adults and children alike.
