Whose Fault is it? | Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai - Duration: 3:35.

A few days ago, I had to write an autograph.

Someone requested, "Bapa, please write a daily routine for me."

Do you know what I wrote?

Everyday mend your own faults, and forgive others' faults.

That's the only daily routine, I gave him.

You can't accept someone better than you.

That's why you need to see that person's faults.

You can't accept someone better than you.

You are not able to put in effort yourself.

And cannot tolerate the effort made by someone else

Hence your eagerness to find fault in him will increase

And you will definitely find faults,

Not imagined faults either. You will see faults that he actually has.

But you will lose your spiritual perspective.

There was a couple.

The husband complained,

My wife does not look after the house well, she does not keep it clean. It always smells.

Because she has 3 goats at home.

And you know how much goats' droplets smell etc.

I advised, "Rather than complaining, why don't you open these closed windows to dissipate the smell?"

He replied, "My 10 pigeons will fly away if I open the windows."

He cannot see his own faults,

He can see her three goats, which is true.

But equally true are your 10 pigeons, which you just can't see.

This delusion is such a terrible thing, that you don't see your 10 pigeons, despite their existence;

And it's not that you have made up her 3 goats. They do exist.

So, when you see or point out someone else's faults, that will be a fact.

But the very fact is that you see others' faults and not your own.

To the extent that others' faults seem important;

To that extent, will the importance of satsang, the Enlightened One and the nature of the Self decrease.

Mulla Nasiruddin had a beautiful habit.

Whenever he got his hands on a gun, a pistol or a rifle,

Rather than reaching for the trigger, he would immediately adjust his spectacles.

I didn't understand, "Either you put the gun away or hold the trigger, but why adjust your spectacles?"

He replied, "To see where the barrel of the gun is pointed."

If the gun is pointed this way, and you pull the trigger without looking,

What will happen?

So now, when you see faults, first clean your spectacles,

Clear your vision… am I seeing my fault or another's?

This is a seeker's perspective.

The moment you see others' faults, realise that it is your own fault;

This is your ego, your expectation, your dislike, your recording, and quickly turn it towards yourself.

You know how the churches in North Korea got started?

Oh wasn't it that...?

He died in the attempt, wasn't it (the first missionary)?

Well, if I would have heard about his mission attempt,

I would have called it the most miserable fail you ever had.

So, he gets on this boat, and they're going in through. They get stuck on a sandbar.

Anyway, while they're stuck on the sandbar, the North Korean soldiers find them.

Everyone from the boat is jumping in and is swimming to shore.

The North Korean soldiers are standing on the bank shooting everyone as they come up.

No one is surviving. The missionary is on the boat. He swims to shore. He comes up. He's holding his Bible.

He comes up. A North Korean soldier picks up the gun. He said, "Wait! Take this."

The North Korean takes the Bible and shoots the guy.

The soldier takes the Bible home.

He needs paper to wallpaper his wall. That's what he did with the whole Bible.

He took all the pages out and did his whole room with you know this nice, beautiful book.

Well, he couldn't read it,

but he had a friend that came to his house a while later that could. He started reading the book,

reading all the wallpaper.

Through reading all the wallpaper

(that was the Bible), got converted. Converted his friend.

They went out and started the church. So, that guy that got shot, was it worth it for him to bring that Bible in?

That's amazing. Yeah, no kidding. When was that? How long ago?

I don't know. I just heard the story.

I'm not sure exactly of the dates and how long everything was.

Because the church is definitely alive there.

You know, that's where we cannot take credit.

That missionary, he's the instigator.

It was ultimately God's Word and God's power that

redeemed that and made that what it was. Maybe for us, we're like,

"But we can't do these things!" No, we can't, but you mix in a little bit of Jesus

and yes, you can. These things are possible.

Let's say someone tried to go in to rescue someone in Mosul and got killed.

We would probably say, "It wasn't worth it. He shouldn't have done it."

And that happened!

I think we've got to take into the perspective a little bit of the whole thing of

even if someone got killed, it doesn't mean it was worthless.

God needed someone to get the Bible into the country. He succeeded in doing that. God could take care of the rest.

I'm sure God could have brought the Bible in too, but God chooses to work through the human beings.

So, His choice way of working is through me, and you,

and everybody else if we let him. Now, there's times that he

just sends an angel to somebody.

Maybe he got tired of waiting on us. I don't know.

Maybe we're not doing our part. Kind of like the story [name withheld] tells of

the girl in the village there in Town S. How she committed suicide by

killing herself using kerosene and lighting herself on fire.

The volunteers there were so close to making it to that girl's house,

but we didn't have quite enough people.

If we would have had one more person that could've went to that girl's house, one more

lady on our team. Maybe there was someone here that

God was calling, saying, "Go. Go. Go serve in Iraq."

and that person said, "No. It's too dangerous."

They didn't answer that call. How would have that story ended different? We don't know. That's totally speculation.

God does often choose to work through us.

Maybe these terrible things are happening because the church isn't stepping up.

All right, well, I'm done if you're done.

Awesome.

Is VERO the new INSTAGRAM? - Duration: 3:02.

Jules Lund: On my roadshow here in

London, a lot of marketers have asked me

about Vero, the new social platform that

apparently is going up against Instagram

they dub it as Pure Social. It basically

has no ads and a chronological feed

which is exactly why it's getting a gust

of wind from top tier influencers they're

protesting that their engagement is

going down. Oo I thought I'd just dump

down my thoughts. So it was founded by,

funnily enough, a billionaire: he is Ayman

Hariri, he is the son of former Lebanese

president who was assassinated. Anyway I

downloaded the app in 2015 when it first

launched. In the last sort of couple of

weeks, it's gone from 150,000 users to

over three million so it's growing about

a million a week. That sounds impressive

but then you compare it to Instagram

which is got probably close to 900

million people: that's growing a million

a week as well! So the big question is:

will it have any impact? My opinion is NO!

I just do not think that, in this

lifetime, there's going to be another big

social media platform, the next big one. I

just don't think that is any longer on

the table.

590 billion dollars

Facebook is worth and look: if Google+

can't rip off Facebook and Snapchat is

limping away from the fight and Facebook

Watch is the new launched platform to go

up a little bit against YouTube but

that's not proven yet, I just don't

necessarily think there is the option

for someone to come in.

If they have a hundred million

users that downloaded over

the next few months but sadly what

happens is the height wears off very

quickly and it's already starting to do

that and those non-loyal influencers that

are talking about which are sort of moving

away from Instagram in the first place,

They're just not going to stick

around as soon as something isn't great!

And it takes an enormous amount to

migrate an audience from one social

platform to the next. Don't underestimate

that: the network effects of having

900 million people on Instagram is

just too powerful. They just don't even

realize it yet. So the greatest gift that

I can give you as a marketer today is

this: you don't have to worry about Vero!

Just put your head down, you've got other

things to work on. It's not another

channel that you have to get across so

tell your friends who keep sending you

links on the blog because you're in

social that you don't need to read them

anymore! And yeah as I say I've just

given you back some time so stop wasting

it by watching this crap on LinkedIn get

back to work!
