Berry Cereal TFA / TPA – Review & Recipe [Crunchy Berry Cereal Review for Diy Eliquids] - Duration: 5:31.

Hello and welcome, I'm john from diy eliquid recipes and for today's video we are back

with another cereal flavor review.

So this is berry cereal from the flavor apprentice.

I have still a few cereal concentrates to go through and review for you, but more I

use them the closer I come to the same conclusion.

Cereal flavors are weird!

Other than a couple good and clean tasting flavors, most of them will either have too

much of acetyl Pyrazine, or include a too strong of a side accent.

Especially lemon seems to be very popular with cereals to be used on the side.

So this common problem, leaves us with only a few clean tasting flavors to use.

For today's review I picked berry cereal because is one of the better TFA cereals available.

Surprisingly tfa has a lot of cereal flavors and even a category just for them.

So from all their cereal related flavors I picked 3 that I will review for this series.

2 of the reviews will be the best 2 tfa cereals and the last one will be a least favorite

one.

And starting today with berry cereal.

This flavor tastes a lot like captain crunch.

It has a good amount of grain without overdoing it and it will work as a bakery base or as

a crunchy accent very well.

The berry part comes out very weak in flavor but you can still taste it.

There is a slight citrus or lemon taste too but since this is a berry flavor it is excused

and expected.

All together it's a good slightly fruity cereal vape.

If you are looking for something that will have more crunch than a flake type of cereal

then the berry cereal would be the one to recommend.

If you would like to have none of the berry flavor included here then, you could try the

crunchy cereal flavor from tfa again but it's not exactly just the berry cereal without

the berry, it feels like its missing something but still a nice flavor.

So as it comes about regular cereals I believe berry cereal is one of the best flavors tfa

has to offer.

Now I will quickly show you the recommended ratios to use this concentrate and move on

to a recipe that I prepared for you with this flavor.

This is a nice concentrate to vape solo, it won't be the best one ever but you could

still mix up something decent just with this flavor alone.

For a mild cereal vape or with something with medium flavor use it from 6 up to 9%.

If you would like an extra bold and crunchy vape you could try it at 12 % and I wouldn't

recommend going higher than 15%.

Usually you should only use it in ratios this high if you are using a mouth to lung device

only.

As a base for other bakery and cereal eliquids it works very well from around 5 to 10% with

5 % being a good starting ratio for new recipes.

And last you can add it for some extra crunch or side booster very low at 1% and going up

to 3%.

Even though at 3%, it is a little high and it should be consider a side flavor.

In any case as you can see this flavor has a wide usage and it could be very useful when

creating new recipes.

Now last, I have prepared a quick recipe to show with this flavor so you can have something

to start with if you just bought berry cereal for the first time.

This is a creamy and crunchy eliquid called light berry cream.

As you can see it has the berry cereal and Bavarian cream as a base, these are 2 very

nice TFA flavors that work excellent with each other.

And finishing with a little bit of flavourarts marshmallow to add some extra body and mouthfeel

to the mix.

The marshmallow is sweet enough but I find that half a percent of sweetener will bring

the flavor a lot more forward.

It's a nice and simple recipe, and at this point it has become my main cereal recipe

to go to if I'm feeling like vaping something crunchy.

Of course you could add on top of it more creams or fruits and get a whole new eliquid.

Ok so as summary, you can see berry cereal is a very useful and flavorful concentrate.

It has a good realistic flavor and it will add a nice crunch to other mild flavors.

You can vape it solo or in a recipe and it still will bring something good to the table.

It's a nice all around cereal flavor.

This video came out a little longer than the usual flavor reviews but hopefully it was

helpful and with some new insight.

Session 5 - Advice for New Teachers | Big History Project - Duration: 4:23.

We asked a group of our most experienced teachers

of Big History, what's the most important thing a new teacher

should know when starting to teach the course?

Not surprisingly, they had a lot to say.

Most of it followed a few key themes.

First, you can't know everything in the course,

so get ready to learn along with the kids.

Second, create a plan and stick to it.

Third, focus on the big ideas rather than trying to fit in

all the little details.

And finally, the course is fun, and course can be hard.

But rather than tell you what they said,

let's hear what they had to say for themselves.

New teachers need to be comfortable

not being the expert in the room.

It's such a freeing experience to be able to tell your students

that you're going to serve as their facilitator of learning,

but you're truly going to be learning alongside them.

If you want to talk about creating a culture of learning,

simply making that statement changes the very fabric

of every classroom.

Kids buy in from the beginning because they feel

like they're equals and that it's a space

where mistakes are both accepted and expected from everyone.

Don't try to teach the course in its entirety

from Big Bang to the modern era.

History is the only subject matter

that gets longer every year.

New content is added literally every minute.

Teach the big concepts, historical thinking skills,

periodization, cause-effect relationships,

questioning, and use the Big History Project

as the vehicle for supplying the content that makes

these skills happen.

Don't give up!

There were several times my first year I wanted

to throw in the towel.

I was getting pushback from administrators,

other teachers, parents, and students.

But the more I taught BHP, the more I firmly believe

it was what my students needed.

Your first year will probably be a thankless one.

But you know what?

You'll be surprised by how many of those students

come back to you and visit and thank you

for putting them through that, as well as parents.

So hang in there.

Always remember that the most important thing

about Big History is the story, the narrative,

and how each threshold builds upon the next in terms

of increasing complexity.

And stick to your course plan or you won't be able

to get through the course in its entirety.

While it's very tempting to talk about how stars formed

or how life evolved in depth, if you get "lost" in the content

for one unit, you'll end up spending less time on Unit Ten,

which is one of the most interesting

and exciting ones to cover.

The course incorporates the past, present,

and future in its design.

It requires participants to formulate strong questions

and models a process of historical inquiry,

in which you pose a how-why question, conduct research,

formulate a strong thesis statement,

and support the statement with evidence.

This course is really fun.

You'll enjoy coming to work each day that you get

to teach this course.

Your students will find the course fun as well,

and they'll also enjoy coming to class each day.

I get to teach about exoplanets, the origin of life,

the extinction of the dinosaurs, the expansion of the universe,

and the invention of agriculture,

among other things, all in the same course.

The most important thing you need to know is that

you don't need to know, or even pretend to know everything.

Big History really does require you to be a facilitator

of learning as opposed to the arbiter or owner of knowledge.

An open-minded and flexible teaching approach

will allow you to join your students on their journey,

while guiding them through the narrative of the thresholds

of increasing complexity.

Use the opportunity of teaching Big History

as a way to breakdown the traditional silo mentality

of disciplines and subjects in your school.

Collaborate with other staff where possible and draw

on the expertise of your wider school community.

Challenge and encourage students to ask questions,

explore their own enquiries and enrich the Big History narrative

with their passions and personal experiences.

Embrace failures and share your successes with others.

Don't worry about knowing all of the content,

you don't need to.

Show students how to find the answers to questions they ask.

You know the saying, "Teach a man to fish..."

You don't have to be an expert in all fields

to teach this course.

Know your discipline.

Familiarize yourself with the others.

You'll be fine.
