I know most of you do not trust politicians.

And I also know that most of you do not know what happens inside a political campaign.

And I'm a huge believer in tearing down walls.

So, my name is Rufus, and I'm going to welcome you inside our campaign.

Come along for the ride.

I want to run the most modern and old-fashioned campaign at the same time.

Most modern in the sense that we will invest in the best data and technologies, so we'll

know where the voters are, we'll know how to contact them, we will do some really nice

videos, and be very active on social media to try to get to people where they are.

But at the same time, I think we win with a very, very old-fashioned and human approach,

so knocking on doors, phone conversations, handshakes, eye contact, listening, that's

what I think we need more of, sort of trying to bring democracy and politics back to its

purest form, which is the human to human relationship

So when I was Ambassador, I constantly got out from behind my desk, engaging the people

directly, going to where they were, going to their homes, going to their businesses,

and hearing from them.

And there's something special about that.

The way that I helped build the person-to-person connections while I was Ambassador is the

same style that I want to bring to any congressional office or any political campaign.

This is about individual human contact.

Every night is busy, every day is busy, we've crisscrossed the district, you know, 30 times

probably over the course of the last month, going from coffee shop to coffee shop to house

to house, from farmers market to farmers market, to town committees and conference centers,

and you know, each time just talking to voters.

So we're going to go speak to the UMass Lowell College Democrats.

I have to say that this is probably, now what seems like hundreds of events

that I've done since I've launched this campaign, this is one that I am probably most

excited about, because I love engaging young people on issues.

So our coffee and conversations tour is stops we are doing in every one of the 37 cities

and towns in the district and we have exactly what it sounds like, coffee and a conversation.

We talk about the issues of the day, of the concerns people have, and how I hope to fix them.

I'll introduce myself, tell my story, talk about my experiences, share my values, and

never has it not then continued into an interesting conversation about policy, about politics,

about the future of the country, about the Trump presidency, and, man, I love that.

I would say the people I've had conversations with, their concerns are quite universal.

They are concerned about the direction of the country.

They are concerned about their future.

And that might be because of health care, might be because of immigration, might be

because of just sort of a breakdown in civility, more broadly.

We as a party, individual political candidates for sure, but we as a party as well, have

got to present a positive and optimistic vision for the future.

It's got to be bold, it's got to be ambitious.

If there's any time in American history for a 21st century version of a New Deal,

let's do it now.

Even though your energy is zapped at the end of the day, and it will be tonight, I can

guarantee you, and we have an early morning tomorrow, you know I fuel myself off the energy

of other people.

I fuel myself off of the positive energy that I get from people out there in the district,

in these communities, and you see so much strength in it, so much strength in it, and

I'm inspired by it.

And it gives me so much belief in what we are doing right now.

So we have about 20 volunteers coming into the HQ tonight.

Where are they from, do you know where they are coming in from?

Yeah, so we have a lot of local people from Lowell coming in, but we also have a lot of

college kids coming up from Boston.

And we're doing two campaigns tonight, so Spanish-speakers and English-speakers.

They're spending their Valentine's Day with us.

I know.

What better way

What better way, exactly, exactly.

I know, I'm so grateful for this.

So is this our biggest night, is this truly our biggest night yet?

This is our biggest night to date.

We're going to have you go in and rally up the troops and then kick us off for a big

night of phone calls.

It means so so so much to us to see so many people come back day after day, and help us

with this campaign.

I'm running for Congress because I believe there is a massive deficit trust that exists

between people and institutions, and we desperately need to elect political leaders that are prepared

to restore that trust--something that I very much feel like I can do.

As someone who worked for President Obama for 10 years, helped implement his policies,

helped pass things like Obamacare, and then served overseas as an Ambassador, seeing the

magic and the true value that the United States has globally,

I am so incredibly frustrated

by how this real breakdown, this breakdown

of trust has occurred, globally, but especially

right here at home.

And I want to spend my time

building that trust back,

person to person, house to house,

neighborhood to neighborhood,

having as many conversations as I can,

as a way to give people

faith that the person that they are going to vote for on Election Day is there to truly

serve their communities.

We desperately need a new generation of political leaders to come to Washington to build that,

those institutions back up, and grow and create faith and trust back between the people and

the institutions.

To bring civility back into the system, to bring public service back into the public

mindset

We need to use our bully pulpit, use our voices.

We have to make people believe, not just convince them, but we have to show them that government

can actually be a force for good in their lives.

And that is everything from building roads and bridges, safe schools, better access to

healthcare, relief of student loan debt, green jobs, all of these things.

If we put forward an agenda like this,

this is about government solutions to real human

problems.

This is not that long ago that people felt like government had their back, and we got

to fight for that again.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for rescuing us even when we find ourselves in hot water.

Especially when we find ourselves in hot water!

Thank you for Your patience, kindness and mercy.

Please help us to know that You never leave us on our own wisdom, but will always answer

us even in ways we do not expect.

Precious family, as I look back on this week, I see how very needy so many people are for

good counsel.

I ache for them and want to help—that's why I post these messages, so we all may better

understand the Lord's ways of leading us.

Jesus began to speak to me last night after I finished the message.

He began, "Those who wander about seeking to be healed of whatever is tormenting them,

will find that no matter where they go, their issues stay the very same.

It is much harder for Me to work on a soul that avoids long-term, meaningful contact

with others that would, in time, facilitate their healing.

Deeply spiritual souls trust very few individuals, because they know the fallibility of men."

Boy, that's for sure...

"They have been rejected for their tender relationship with Me that others do not understand.

"So many mistakenly think that if they go here or there, they will find the answer.

But the answer is within you, My children.

The answer to all things is Me.

"No matter where you go—you will, after time, encounter the same issues you ran from

where you were before.

The enemy would like to keep you wandering and never maturing, because you do not form

deep enough or long-lasting enough relationships to facilitate reaching into the issues that

plague you and healing them.

"Do you understand, My wandering ones?

When you settle in an area, I bring others into your lives who will eventually be very

good for you—if you stay with them.

Many come and many go, thinking that the next group of people will be the answer.

It is very rare that any people are your answer, although I do at times place you in community

that is compassionate and able to pray for you.

"The major responsibility for your healing comes from those times alone with Me.

Those times of worship that are suddenly very meaningful and cleansing.

"The more committed you are to relationships that I have brought into your life; the more

committed you are to your prayer and worship time; the more committed you are to humbling

yourself before God and man—the more your chances of being healed.

"It is the wandering stars that never quite reach their potential in life—those who

are deeply spiritual, but are not always willing to look at the errors in their own discernment

or their thinking.

They avoid those who might be of benefit to them, or avoid also the counsel that sets

them at odds with what they believe—and seek those who THEY can benefit.

They prefer to teach, rather than to be taught.

And so, their defenses keep them from learning and they go through life making the same mistakes

over and over again.

"When you find a loving group of people who care for you, you can just as easily communicate

over the Internet as you can if you live nearby.

As a matter of fact, the distance is good; it gives you the opportunity to think on things

without highly personal dynamics coming into play.

This distance cultivates a trust and depth in a relationship that you do not acquire

so quickly when you are physically in the same environment.

"My children, seek Me first; seek Me last.

Be confident that I have the answers you need.

Use what you have been taught to get a random word from worship music, from Scripture and

from rhemas.

Avail yourselves of a rhema card file, build it up with many different words from Me, with

quotes from messages that spoke to you.

Cultivate this gift and you will have more than enough to guide you in times of dryness.

"Above all, know that I am with you and the good you do to others will always come

back to you.

It is a rare grace to be in touch with like-minded souls who will give you honest feedback.

Once found, it should be cultivated and deepened.

In this way, you will grow secure in the love you feel from that individual and be more

willing to lay aside your defenses to receive what I might impart to them on your behalf.

"Test the spirits always; be sure that they are of Me.

And once this is discerned, allow that relationship to grow and you will have an advocate and

friend that I can point out errors in your thinking, that otherwise you would reject.

When you know you are loved and wisdom comes forth from that vessel, lay aside defenses

and ponder what they observe in you.

Come to Me for a confirmation.

And if I do confirm it, humble yourself before them and receive it as a medicine carefully

crafted to bring relief to your aching heart.

"By doing this, you are not seeking wisdom from man; you are sharing life with a like-minded

soul who also hears from Me.

And in the course of your friendship, I will minister to you through them and to them through

you.

"But remember: all wisdom and healing originate with Me, and in prayer and worship I will

speak to you and heal you."

FBI In Hot Water For Conspiracy, Obstruction of Justice, and Contempt Of Court - Duration: 2:59.

FBI In Hot Water For Conspiracy, Obstruction of Justice, and Contempt Of Court.

The FBI may have violated as many as five criminal statutes.

The federal government acted like criminals during the last administration.

Obama and his flunkies abused their power.

Nothing was off the table for these con artists.

They even went as far as spying on American citizens in order to protect their agenda.

In many ways, they acted like Communist dictators.

If you got in their way, they'd crush you.

Even if that meant breaking numerous laws.

Now it looks like some of them will have to face the music.

Top officials from that era might be charged for their criminal actions.

From Washington Examiner:

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., informed the Justice Department

on Thursday that the FBI may have violated criminal statutes, when it sought Foreign

Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants to spy on ex-Trump foreign policy adviser Carter

Page…

In a letter sent to Sessions, Nunes wrote that the apparent use of the controversial

"Trump dossier" to make the case for spying on Page suggests a "clear violation" of

FBI protocols because it contained unverified information.

And such a breach of protocol may have violated five criminal statutes, including conspiracy,

obstruction of justice, and contempt of court…

Nunes is demanding a response by March 8, in exactly one week.

His letter, first obtained by Fox News, shows that FBI Director Christopher Wray and DOJ

Inspector General Michael Horowitz were carbon copied.

The country was stunned by the Nunes memo.

He exposed what the DOJ—under Obama—did to thwart the Trump campaign.

They used a bogus dossier to get fraudulent surveillance warrants.

To boot, they didn't even disclose to the judges that they were using this dossier.

The charges leveled at them by Nunes are not unfounded.

They overstepped their power—limited by law and the Constitution—to go after the

Trump campaign.

The dossier was their only "evidence" of collusion with Russia.

The dossier did not contain any verifiable facts and has been largely discredited by

even liberal journalists.

Yet the FBI and DOJ covered up that inconvenient fact, just to persecute a political rival.

Conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and contempt of court might only be the beginning.

If the current DOJ actually investigates this, we might find much more.

But will Sessions do anything?

Will we have to live through the indignity of Mueller's bogus investigation, while

real criminals go free?

I guess we'll have to wait and see.
