[MUSIC]
all right so I want you to open up your Bibles, all of you everywhere
open up your Bibles and I hope you brought your Bible with you, with this
new age we need our sword we need to take our sword to church with us amen
this book is not just a ordinary book there's life in this book it's not like
the normal book out there, there's something supernatural about the Bible
it is a supernatural tool it's a good book I'm not talking about just the
natural Word and the paper but the word in itself it's supernatural
amen, it carries a supernatural power with it, now, Romans chapter 8 verse 28 the
scripture is saying that we know that all things, and when I said all things, I
mean all things, work together for good and always in all things that means if
it work together for good we are talking about all the negative things or the
circumstances that are not really good, our situations that are not really good they
will all work itself together for the good of those that love God and are
called according to his purpose, please note the word or the couple words the
words right there that love love God alright and so the overall
context of Romans chapter 8 verse 28 it is addressing the Apostle Paul as we
we all know the Apostle Paul it's addressing him living a life or living
by the power of the Spirit in the midst of suffering and in the midst of pain
how many of us have lived through suffering or pain well if you're on this
earth you will somehow or some way go through a time of suffering, this is what
the earth is, you will go through it a time of suffering or a time of pain and
so that the scripture is addressing the Apostle Paul that even though, you
know that he went through the time of suffering and pain but even though he lived life
by the power of the Spirit, what it is now to live by the power of the Spirit
in this context? because we can explain living by the spirit in
different way base and context of where we're coming from but it's saying
but here it's saying living by the spirit it is talking about what faith in
God it is talking about confident in God
we're talking about you're in a pain and you're in suffering but even
though you are going through a time of pain or suffering or you are you going
through pain and suffering you still have faith and confident in God not many
people can really have confidence and faith in God when they're faced in
certain predicament you see people can love God and have faith in him when
everything is going right but the moment things are chaos around them they tend to
lose faith in God and it is at this point when a lot of people backslidden
from the faith because they cannot continue the journey because it is hard
it is tough and not understanding that listen it's a process it's all a package
and this salvation is Christian walk it's not just a better roses where
everything is those smooth and sailing a lot of people they come to Christ and
they have the wrong concept really truly of what Christendom is really about
they don't realize that there's a package but the package is not really to
hurt you or destroy you, there's a plan and a purpose in the whole package and
so Paul here, actually before I go to Paul we are talking about living by the
power of the Spirit we are talking about faith we're talking about confidence
we are talking about reassurance come on can we still have that reassurance in
pain and sorrow we are talking about dependence not on the results but
dependence on God, we don't know how things gonna turn out, we don't know how
to really face life but yet we're still having confident in God this is why this
text is for those that love God when you love God despite what it looks like
around you, you are still gonna have confidence in God it is very hard so I'm
talking about it walking in the power of the Spirit you are allowing the Holy
Spirit to comfort you even through sorrow and pain, you are allowing... living a life
living by the power of the Spirit it means that you are looking beyond your
circumstances, oh yes that's what it is, you are looking at beyond this physical
the physical situation the physical circumstances and you are tapping in and
getting a glimpse in the supernatural in the spiritual, it is though around you
things are really hard it's very painful but you're not looking at the
circumstances, you're not looking at the situation, you are looking beyond that
and looking in the spiritual and you're seeing hope
can you see hope in your trials? can you see hope in your pain? and we're living
by the spirit is looking beyond your situation, looking beyond your pain and
you are seeing a daylight through your dark situation you are seeing hope through the
pain you are seeing released through your prision situation it doesn't make sense in
the physical, it doesn't make sense in the human understanding but you can
get a glimpse beyond and you're hoping when there seems to be no hope all hell
is against you, but yet you can see beyond that, Oh glory to God
it looks messed up, it looks like the situation is bad...
there's no turning back there's no turning for that situation but yet you
can still see hope, but living by the power of the Spirit
you know that there will be a way because you serve a mighty God and so
the situation is there, but you're seeing God in the
equation of your situation, can we see God beyond the pain?
can we see God behind the trials? can't we see God beyond the sickness?
yes we can, yes we can and so the Apostle Paul went through a very terrible time a
very bad experience, he had to suffer, he had suffer enormously he had suffered so
bad and why do I have to go through all this? the Apostle Paul could have asked
himself I was living my life back then as a Pharisees or you know the
Pharisees and I was doing what I have to do but now since I have this experience
on the road to Damascus it seems as though all hell now is all loose
around me, what is going on? Apostle Paul had enough to curse God he could have
cursed God and giving up on all hope but Apostle Paul is making a statement here
this is a Apostle Paul statement, he is saying to his people he's encouraging
the people, the Church of Rome that's what he was doing
encouraging them that although things might be dull and not bright there still a way
there is still a way and there's still hope he was giving them hope I came to
give you hope this morning through your situation if you're going through anything
and if you're not going through anything I'm here to speak to the
audience that there is hope in your situation, that is if you love
God, hope is coming for you, oh yes, t's coming
and so Paul had many suffering, we all know the Apostle Paul's life
he was... he faced many near-death experiences, he was beaten, he was
snake-bitten, Apostle Paul how many of us have
been snake bitten by people around us some snake some people they look normal
but to be honest there are some spiritual snake that is operating in
them and we've been bitten many times around oh yes some of us can testify by
that, well, Paul was bitten, how many of us feel as though that we are in spiritual
prison and it feels as if it were caving on us well Apostle Paul was in a
physical prison and I'm sure he was also in a spiritual prison and so many more
situation but yet Paul found hope in the midst of everything that he could
encourage us Paul is giving us promise but only to those that love God who are
called according to the purpose of God how many of us love God this morning? how
many of us? how many love God? how many of us? do you really truly love God?
do you know what it is to love God? loving God is not necessary what God can
do for you, although yes, see when you love him he
will do all for you but loving God is giving up yourself is crucifying
yourself do you love God enough to love those that are around you? do you love
God enough to feel the pain of others, do you love God enough to out reach and
stretch hands to those that are broken? do you love God enough to feel the pain
of those that are around you? in the church here we're looking at a church
and we see people that are suffering, do you love God enough to intercede for
their burdens? do you love God enough? if you said you love God, how can you love
God who you cannot see and those that are around you, you cannot love
now examine yourself if you truly love God if you're really truly love God
it's not about loving God you can't see God you have never seen him but yet
you're telling me that you love him and the people that are around you, you don't
have the feeling, to feel their pain, to feel their sorrow, at last night I
began to have my tears out my eyes out and I said what is this? why
am I so emotional? and I remember some individuals that were with us
not in this building but before and they had nowhere to live they had no
food God put a burden in my spirit and I said Lord this is why I wanna be a
blessing so I can bless others if I don't have it I can't but whatever we
have, we have to bless others, that is expressing the love of God, amen, amen
there's different level in love in God we climb up we climb the ladder in
loving God

right and we really love God, well, church I have good news for you, the bad
situation that you have gone through and the bad situation that you're going
through even now and the bad situation that you will go through in the future
God was in the past with you and God is gonna take you out and he is gonna work
out all things for your good, seriously, he's gonna work out all things for your
good everything that ever happened to you that was not so good God is gonna
work it out for your good, you gotta believe me this morning you're gonna
believe me because God gave me the message to give to his people this
morning that is gonna work it out for your good, this promise though is
conditional it is not for those that don't love God but it's for God's people
who love Him, the good here that we are talking about now listen the good that
I'm talking about is the benefit of salvation and the benefit of salvation
is all good it is peace joy happiness all goodness and it also what includes
eternal life, Paul did not look just on the natural because what happened when
we have our eyes on the natural and the physical earth here we tend to get
discouraged because as long as we are on this earth we are gonna go through yes
God will make a way out of our escape, he will, that's the God we serve he
promised us that, but our main hope our greatest hope is not so much now because
we're just temporal, a journal passing through this land, but the hope that we have
the true hope that we have its eternal Iife
in Christ and so when you're going through your situation don't look at just the
physical situation and want everything and want everything but keep your eyes
and eternal hope and that's what what encourages you the eternal hope so all
things will work together for your good see how is it that everything will work
out for the good and why? because God loves you so much, he loved us so much
look at this situation, how mankind fall in sin, originally... it was a hopeless
situation, all hope was lost, mankind was doomed for eternity because the Bible
says that if we eat of this tree we shall surely die and so at the beginning
of creation we saw how impossible it was for a bad situation, a situation that
separated us from God and that caused death caused hopeleness but I'm here
to tell you that God can take a bad situation and turn it around for our good
God can take a bad situation and turn it around
he can take a mess and turn it around into a message of redemption, God can do
it God can turn it around and if God was able to turn around the mess situation that
it was so hopeless, what is there that he can't do for you Church? that is because
of his ultimate love he still loved his people and that love came down and so
the same way he take on this a lot of us we are infected with viruses like myself
right now with something trying to attack my body but did you know that
when some of these colds attack your body it actually good for you in the long run
because it built up a mechanism in your body in your system that when other
thing hits you again it's immune you're from it, is the same thing then when you
have influenza I'm talking about a bad situation, bacteria is bad for the body
and so you go to doctor they inject you in your home and they
use that bad bacteria in your body and they give you a injection made by
bacteria now the bacteria is a bad situation a bad thing but that thing is
needed to immune you from all the different viruses out there and the same
way about the situation can turn out for
your good and so the bug so you need it to be able to resist the baby you know
the baby when they are young they give them in injection for the Meisel
chickenpox and all of these things these are bad things that are going in the
body but even though the bad things it work itself out for the good of the
child when they grow up big so they can be immune from all of these different
things, what am I talking about? I'm talking about some bad situation in your
life it has a purpose in your life we don't want anything bad in our life we
want to escape bad things but if God allow it in your life it is for your
good it can work out for your good it's not to kill you but eventually it will
turn out for your good, how really does bad situation work out for my good or
for your good? how really does bad situation worked out? I just explained
but let me just go more into depth since maybe you never gotten it you never
heard because sometimes I take a little time to repeat it in your head for you
to really get it, take for instance certain medication or certain medical
things then certain medical things, I'm talking about how a bad things can work
out for your good the medical field, we have x-ray we have radiation
chemotherapy and all of these things they are bad things there are terrible
things there are bad things but if you have a sickness
it cannot be diagnosed if you do not allow an x-ray to take to see what's
going on in the body it is bad for you but it will eventually turn
out for your good are you getting the revelation I'm giving you
revelation I'm trying to build up your understanding how bad situation can work
out for your good and so the x-ray is a deadly thing it's a bad thing but it can
work out for your good some antibiotic is very bad for you but it can work out
for your good now do you know that table salt, the table salt that we eat
it contains sodium and chloride do you know that it's a very deadly deadly
poison, did you know that? sodium is deadly and chloride is a very deadly
thing but when mixed them together we have table salt that spice up and flavor
our food are you getting the revelation come on you need to get the revelation
it's a poison deadly thing I'm talking about the situation that you're going
through it's hardest toughest and everything but God is on the turnaround
for your good so come with me follow me and so this
sodium chloride is a very deadly poison thing but when you mix them together you
have table salt that will flavor your food not only flavor your food but
certain amount of salt will produce it's necessary for health and life without if
we cannot live without salt, do you know that? I'm talking about the poison
thing that is poison for you and it's deadly for you you cannot live without it
you need it in your body you need a
poison your body little tiny minor amount in your body for you to live and
function come on look at your pain differently from today look at your
negative situation this is different for me because I'm taking you somewhere come
on earth it's bad but it's not so bad for you God is gonna turn it around
for your life for your good, see, understand that anything that comes to
you that is if you love the Lord I'm talking about if you truly love him once
you love the Lord he will not allow anything in your life
unless it will not serve a purpose he will use
everything that come to you as a matter of fact if things are negative in your
life even if you cause it, like our sin, we cause it on our self but God turn
it around for us that is the love of God ultimate love we make mistake we fall
down God take us back again, wipe us off, help us, clean us up and use it for our
good, for our learning, for experience for strength for faith many
of the things that we go through its for stamina, it's for building our
muscles come on it's for the anointing to go to a level it's for you to be able
to relate to where God is taking you, are you getting what I'm saying? these
elements in your life God is using them for a stepping stone for where is taking
you, it's all a package, he's gonna turn it around for all your good and so the
bodybuilder they have to muscle up for them to get good muscle they have to go
truth intense strain strain in the muscle and they have to build up and to
flex up the muscle you think it's easy it comes with a lot, I don't know about
that, cause I don't, I'm so skinny, look at me no muscle but those
that understand you have to go through training you gotta go through some
hard sweat and muscling and sometimes it's so hard for you to get nice muscles so
you want to have nice things and remember what you need to understand for
those that love God and are called according to his purpose
see it the purpose and that's so much for you, God have a plan in it but if we
love God listen he's ain't about us it's about what God is gonna use our life to
do for his divine purpose, he will work it out for his purpose and if you love
the Lord you're gonna say God my life is not mine
use it for what you want to do with it, for your purpose so
you're gonna turn it around for his purpose so the muscle has to be a build
up and so some of us we wanna deliver even those that are broken
as I was saying the way I was felt I felt last night we want to deliver the
broken God will allow us to be broken so that we can relate to the broken we want
to heal the sick, some of us we said Oh God give me a
healing ministry Lord I want to heal the sick I want to heal the sick God will
not give on you but he will allow you to go to some sickness so you can be
touched with the feeling of the infirmities you can know what it is not
only that God will allow you now to go through some sickness so that when he
heals you you will have your faith knowing that God is truly a healer you
want to know if God is a healer have you ever healed, do you? have you gone through
any situation where you have healed you so that no you can stand and lay your
hand on somebody and know for sure I am not just talking about it because
somebody told me but I have experienced the healing power of God, I tried it and
it worked for me for something that I was going through because it works for me
now I can know that I can stand and I can lay my hands on the sick and because God
did it for me I have confidence that God can heal us so some people want some
easy way out, it doesn't go like that, you can't build muscle in the gym by just
just showing up and no workout, but you have to exercise that muscle
the principle of God working all things
together for good is well illustrated in the whole Testament according to
Joseph's life we all know Joseph's life don't we all know that life we're
talking about bad situation, some things we don't deserve, early in Joseph's life
you know Joseph, Joseph jealous brothers sold him into slavery in Egypt and
Joseph went into a pit and from the pit situation
he went into Potiphar's house where he was at one point he was exalted in
responsibilities because of God's favor upon his life a
bad situation I'm talking about God taking about situation and turn it
around for the good of his people and so he was exalted to responsibilities and
after that what happened? Potiphar's wife put him into prison, a bad
situation, now Joseph could have in fact cursed God
but even in that midst he's still focus and he refused to let go his faith
because of what? the love of God
