Best of Shark Tank TV

Shark Tank Dude Wipes Business Wants $300K For 10% of The Company - Best of Shark Tank TV

hi sharks my name is Sean Riley and I'm here with my good friends Ryan Meegan

and Jeff come Kowski and we're the guys of dude products hailing from Chicago

Illinois but you can just call us the dudes dude and we're here today seeking

$300,000 in exchange for 10% of our company sharks are you still wiping the

old fashioned way with just toilet paper if so you're a chump and your ass

probably hates you for it but hey what's a dude to do you could try some baby

wipes we're not babies we're dudes so we created the award-winning dude wipes are

the very first wife's Ferb well dudes they're flushable biodegradable of

soothing aloe and he answered every dudes prayers dudes from all walks of

life can use dude wipes for blue-collar dudes to college Bros to business guys

even moms with little smelly dudes I even caught my wife stealing dude wipes

and dude wipes aren't just for taking care of business on the throne

they're also safe for your face pits hands and a combat stank for all dude

regions so sharks which one of you are ready to join the crusade of saving the

world one dude at a time Robert don't go up and try that

now please do Robert listen we will hook you up with the dude wipes yeah there

you go Robert you can take one of our soft packs like dude cologne scent no

it's actually pretty hearty and fresh scents so the one mr. wonderful holding

is a natural health and beauty product that fits me I'm natural and beautiful

for you dudes usually when I go anywhere there's already toilet paper there for

me now I have to carry the dude wipe with me correct don't you get the

difference no what's the difference the difference

that's the compliment to toilet paper

second-to-last wipe see we were using baby wipes in our apartment in Chicago

that's all we got started using baby wipes well we have we work but I'm gonna

tell you something there's a little problem with this the minute I took it

out of the package my finger went right through that it's two franchises Roger

it's too small for my husband six-foot one I mean I feel like twice as we're

having a lot of fun with them let's get serious about the opportunity because

you could prove us all wrong and our skepticism by telling us you have lots

of sales because you put a valuation on this business of three million dollars

if you don't have sales I'm gonna wipe your know what with this so year-to-date

we have three hundred thousand dollars but we're projecting 1.5 million water

this year because we just landed a two to three million dollar contract to go

nationwide with Kroger Wow Kroger is putting you in dude wipes you're going

into Kroger we already tested with them and this is a complete national rollout

in the toilet paper aisle which is the most consumable Iowa

so basically what we're doing is we're rolling out in 1500 to 2,200 stores it's

about a hundred and sixty eight thousand dollars a month what do you sell it for

649 Crowe will be selling that guy for we make about 40% margin in stores and

60% margin online so your cells just 649 what is the babywipes same package

sulfur I just want to do a comparison probably half the price for the same

size so what are you gonna do with my 300 if I give it to you well we're gonna

use that to go get new big-box retailers we have the working capital we have the

money to do Kroger so Jeff is that three hundred thousand sales what's your

marketing spend we spend ten to fifteen percent for every dollar we spend so

we're not making any money yet right well no we are because we have 40% gross

are you paying yourselves anything I live Shawn on the full-time salary to

get the company going and what are the other dudes doing so I'm I'm an

investment banker now I work for my dad's manufacturing company what do you

mean you fetch actually believe it or not luxury mobile restroom trailers and

showers it's in your blood guys look I like what you're doing I

think you'll be successful um I've got two problems I just don't

see me as a wipes the kind of guy I'm sorry

second I think you're underestimated the amount of marketing dollars it's going

to take to really open up into a category I don't think it's a ride that

I can take so for those reasons I'm out appreciate your points thank you

let me tell you what I think I haven't totally paper Isles says they married

him men don't shop for toilet paper for the

most part their wives do so I think I have to sell it to the wife I'm not sure

they're gonna buy in especially with the advanced knowledge that the price of

these dude wipes are exactly double what they paid for the baby wipes also I

punched my fingers through without even sure

I can't shake that out of my head so I wish you luck but they're not for me

enough I love you dudes I like what you're doing but you want $300,000 for

10% why where does that come from I know you're getting into croaker but I mean

basically two to three times your revenue and I understand we're very

revenue guys you know this you're the banker guy they're worth about a million

bucks today you said 300,000 pre-tax about 230,000

after-tax no one's gonna pay more than five times for that

no one's gonna value it even a multiple or an earnings multiple but you three

dudes are gonna run fast I want to come along and run too but the value I see is

300,000 for 25%

because to get to the 3 million value I see risk I wasn't gonna give you any

more than that either that's my offer I'd give you 300,000 for 25% that's the

right price given the challenges ahead it's a fair price actually

dude he's trying to wipe you out Laurie compared you share with you my thoughts

from the female point of view I think the fact that you guys are cleaner dudes

is quite appealing I think your packaging is great it's a very clear

dude white can't be simpler than that in the right section you know just what

it's for sounds like a big offers coming but um I feel I don't agree with the 3

million dollar valuation for that reason I'm out but what I love

what you're doing well I am believing it too by dudes next to me so guys you have

two offers what are you gonna do you like the counter it's $300,000 for 20%

of the company but splitting so $150,000 for 10% of the company by Calvin

$150,000 for 10% of the company by Robert

not changing the value can't do it you know if you get two sharks that's even

more value yeah I was actually thinking if you want two of us I'll go to 30%

yeah you all have the feeling to deal at 25 - sharks are 25 they just said to

sharks at 25 changing I appreciate Roberts greed and I'm endorsing it now

guys 30% we're gonna make this work for you it's very very hard to get two guys

to play ball like this well dudes we'll take the initial offer for 25 let's do

the classic negotiating let's split the middle to 27 and a half 27 and a half

guys were 25 and we got a deal we already we started at 10 so Kevin rabbit

I think the extra two and a half is worth having two guys that tells you

they're not that into it in the first place yes

there's mark you make comments like that you're not trying the deal it's all mark

goes the other way to save your soul and get out of here without these guys the

deal here's the thing here's the thing you guys it should be painful if it's a

great deal and it's hurting you it's a good deal and why would the two and a

half mean anything of these guys they're just being greedy you gotta look out for

my perspective Laura my own equity I'm taking less to get Kevin involved I see

value of having multiple guys it's 27 and a half everybody has an opinion

once they're out there fighting over two and a half percent what do you wanna do

all you want to wait think of the Sharks you got a bully and

a pretty boy oh there's so much talk from people but I think know what what

do you guys want to do you have one decision to make and then once you've

made it it's over

I'll do it Klump 300k 25

Arsenal and Tottenham set for summer fight over £22m rated midfielder ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 1:46.

Tottenham are interested in signing Lyon midfielder Lucas Tousart this summer, according to reports

in Italy.

Tousart has scored two goals in 76 appearances for Lyon since joining from Valenciennes in

2015.

Despite a lack of goal threat, the 20-year-old has emerged as one the most highly-rated midfielders

in France.

Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claims Spurs are among the clubs keen on Tousart – Arsenal

Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Inter Milan are also thought to be interested.

The report suggests Lyon might only command £22 million for the France Under-21 international.

The Ligue 1 club are apparently focusing their efforts on retaining other stars this summer.

Tottenham are said to be on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Mousa Dembele,

leading to a number of midfielders from across Europe being linked with a move to north London.

Werder Bremen and Denmark star Thomas Delaney is the latest of those candidates, according

to reports in Germany.

Like the Delaney story, no reputable UK-based outlets have picked up on the Tousard rumours

yet.

Until then, file this one under speculation.

Melania Trump to leave her husband for the humiliation she's had to endure Conservative Pundit Urges - Duration: 2:18.

"Melania should do for this generation of girls what Hillary Clinton did not do for

mine," S.E.

Cupp said.

Conservative pundit and HLN host S.E.

Cupp urged first lady Melania Trump on Tuesday to leave her husband for the humiliation she's

had to endure as women come forward alleging they've had affairs with President Donald

Trump.

Earlier this week, adult film star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford,

provided details of her alleged 2006 sexual encounter with Trump in a highly anticipated

interview with "60 Minutes."

Daniels is currently suing the president over the validity of a nondisclosure agreement

she says she was bullied into signing to conceal their relationship.

Ex-Playboy playmate Karen McDougal has also come forward in recent weeks alleging she

had an affair with Trump in 2006.

The affairs, which the president denies, allegedly occurred when Melania was pregnant and after

she gave birth to their son, Barron.

During her show, Cupp likened Melania's current situation to the one former Democratic

presidential nominee and first lady Hillary Clinton dealt with during the 1990s, when

President Bill Clinton's alleged infidelities were making headlines.

"While feminists trotted [Hillary Clinton] out as a role model for strong women, all

I saw was a woman who was humiliated time and again," Cupp said of Clinton's decision

not to leave her husband.

"Melania may not have a political career to consider, but as first lady, she is an

inherently important figure in American politics, and women are watching ― particularly young

women," Cupp continued.

"Melania should do for this generation of girls what Hillary Clinton did not do for

mine and leave her jerk of a husband."

Cupp's monologue was adapted from an op-ed she published in the New York Daily News.

Her call for Melania to leave the president became the focus of the New York Daily News'

cover on Wednesday, which featured the headline, "DUMP TRUMP!"

THE 2019 RAM 1500 KENTUCKY DERBY EDITION HAS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR GIANT HATS - Duration: 2:10.

You might not know this, but this year marks the ninth anniversary of Ram paying to be

the official truck of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby.

Tradition would suggest celebrating with a gift of pottery, but instead, Ram created

a special Kentucky Derby Edition pickup truck.

That sounds like a better anniversary present to us, even if Ram could have added a few

more Kentucky Derby-specific touches.

Built using a loaded Ram 1500 Limited, the Kentucky Derby Edition gets "Run for the

Roses" fender graphics and not much else.

It's only available as a crew cab with a 67-inch bed, but both 4×2 and 4×4 versions

can be ordered, and it comes in six different colors.

Premium leather seats are included, as are other Limited features such as a 12-inch touchscreen

infotainment system, a four-corner air suspension, and power-retracting running boards.

Only 2,000 copies of the 2019 Ram 1500 Kentucky Derby Edition will be built, and they're

on sale now with a starting price of $57,325 including destination.

Sadly, other than the fender graphic, there isn't much that sets the Kentucky Derby

Edition apart from a regular Ram 1500 Limited.

It doesn't even come with a commemorative bottle of Woodford Reserve.

Where are the seersucker-trimmed seats?

The special set of mint julep cups and in-bed cooler?

The pastel pink, key lime, and citron paint options?

We see a lot of missed opportunities here, but at least the crew cab is spacious enough

to accommodate even the largest of floppy hats.

5 Turmeric Masks for Acne Scars - Australia 365 - Duration: 8:49.

5 Turmeric Masks for Acne Scars

Did the acne that you had as a teenager leave you with scars? If thats your case, regardless of how long theyve been there for or how bad they look, its a problem that you can simply solve at home.

Below, well explain how to make some turmeric masks for eliminating acne scars.

All these masks are cheap and easy to use.

Theyre a great option for scars because turmeric has antiseptic, antibacterial and clarifying properties.

Mint and turmeric masks Mint has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and softening properties that perfectly match with the effects of turmeric.

For eliminating acne scars, we recommend that you use this mask daily.

Dont worry about irritation, because both are gentle ingredients.

Ingredients 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder (3 g) 2 teaspoons of mint tea (10 ml) Preparation First, combine the two ingredients to form a paste.

Clean your face with a neutral soap and wash off with water.

Then, apply the mask onto the areas with acne scarring using a brush.

Leave on for 30 minutes and wash off with warm water.

If your skin feels dry afterwards, use some light-bodied cream.

Turmeric and sandalwood Using products that contain antioxidants is essential for restoring damaged skin cells that have acne scarring.

In addition to restoration, you can also use this mask to counteract discoloration.

The three ingredients in this mask have clarifying and antibacterial properties.

Ingredients 1 teaspoon of: sandalwood powder (3 g) turmeric powder (3 g) warm milk (5 ml) Preparation Combine the three ingredients just before using.

Then, wash your face with warm water and gently dry.

Apply the mixture onto the areas with acne scars.

Leave on for 30 minutes and wash off with water (cold or warm).

You can use this mask every day or at least two times a week.

The ingredients are very neutral so you wont have any skin problems.

However, do remember to use sunscreen everyday.

Honey and turmeric masks Along with acne scars, do you find that your skin is dry in certain areas?   Its normal that the passing of time and exposure to the environment affect skin and make it lose hydration.

When that happens, this mask will help you close your pores, get silky skin and reduce the appearance of scars.

Honey also boasts disinfectant properties that clean pores thoroughly.

Ingredients 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (10 g) 1 tablespoon of organic honey (25 g) Preparation First, combine the two ingredients in a heat-resistant bowl.

Heat up the mixture in the microwave for one minute.

Then, wash your face and dry completely.

Apply the mask using a brush.

Leave on for 20 minutes and wash off with warm water.

This mask is a wonder and the honey also exfoliates your skin.

You can opt to put it on only on the areas where you have acne, but you can also multiply the measurements and use it on your entire face.

Turmeric and coconut oil mask This option is perfect for hydrating, adding antioxidants and providing your skin with fatty acids.

Coconut oil restores the balance of oil in your skin while at the same time fighting off infections and inflammation.

Ingredients 1 tablespoon of coconut oil (15 g) 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (10 g) Preparation Combine the two ingredients.

If the coconut oil is solid, just mix it around with a spoon.

You can also microwave it for a minute.

Wash your face with neutral soap.

Then, apply mask and leave on for 15 minutes.

Wash off with plenty of water.

Because this mask contains oil, you wont need to use a moisturizer after washing it off.

What you should always remember to use, however, is sunscreen.

Turmeric, rose water and chickpea flour The next mask on our list is a real treat for skin.

Chickpea flour absorbs excess oil, cleans pores and prevents them from getting blocked again.

Rose water, on the other hand, is an astringent that hydrates and reduces coloration changes.

Ingredients 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (10 g) 2 tablespoons of chickpea flour (30 g) 2 tablespoons of rose water (30 ml) Preparation In a small bowl, combine the turmeric and chickpea flour.

Add the rose water slowly, mixing as you add.

Apply the paste onto the areas where you want to eliminate acne scars.

Leave on for 15 minutes.

Wash off with cold water.

Use this last scar-eliminating turmeric mask at least two times a week.

What did you think of our masks? As you can see, investing just a couple of minutes each day, or each week, is enough to lessen acne scars and feel better about your appearance.

Suraj Patel for Congress: A peek inside our fight to fix democracy - Duration: 12:44.

Last week we were in The Nation as one of the first campaigns to call for the

full defunding of ICE. Seven or eight other campaigns simultaneously joined that

call as well, and just this week the spokesperson for ICE resigned with a

scathing letter in San Francisco. As this became national news, our opponent who

spent 20 years being one of the prominent anti-vaccine folks in Congress,

this Monday said, that she changed her position and believes now that vaccines

do not cause autism. My question is — what empirical study in the last four or

five months came out to change your position?

I'm just guessing that study would be an insurgent campaign.

So we are making change before we've even arrived in Washington.

So regular political campaigns start with the idea that there are some

voters who vote and other people that just don't. What they do is say, all right,

well, we know these people are voting, so let's engage them — knock on their doors,

and make phone calls, and get them to turnout. And these other people — well you

know what? They're "low propensity" voters — young people, or minorities,

or marginalized communities, immigrants — they're "prohibitively expensive" to reach out to

and get them to vote. Well, I think that's kind of offensive. No one should

be "prohibitively" too expensive to deserve representation. So on this

campaign, we're premising on connecting with and contacting as many people as we can,

every single New Yorker that we can touch, and get them to vote if we do our jobs right.

Okay, so today, I am completely focused on this office space.

I have to say that our Wednesday happy hours are our greatest opportunity to bring in

meaningful volunteer signups, and really recruiting people for future events as well.

So, we're truly running a different kind of campaign here. And the reason is

because we find that so many people are checked out of politics, because politics

doesn't speak to them, doesn't engage new people. And so we're saying here — how do

we get new people to register to vote, to show up to volunteer, to be part of the

process? And we're seeing it every day right now, right? That people are marching,

people are resisting, students are walking out and protesting about guns.

What we want to do is capture some of that energy — all that energy — and say,

let's change the political system for real. And so one of the examples of, you

know, how different we're doing this is our campaign office itself. We actually

took over a former bar. This is a social justice bar that donated 100 percent of

its proceeds to Planned Parenthood, ACLU, NRDC and other orgs like that.

This space is in Cooper Square right across the street from Cooper Union and

down the road from NYU. Hundreds and hundreds of people on a daily basis

walk by this office, stop in, register to vote, sign up to volunteer,

want to learn more, and the reason is because they've never seen a campaign

office that's like this. What we're doing is using this space as a community space.

Anyone who wants to, you know, have a happy hour, have an event, do a fundraiser,

we're opening this up to progressive groups and campaigns like ours because

it's really hard to find space in New York. We had a hundred and fifty people

at our office opening happy hour two Wednesdays ago, and I even had a reporter

say he's never seen an office opening like this. The average age of this group is

like 30 years old, and so what we're doing is saying look, we're tired of sitting

on the sidelines and waiting our turn, and it's time for a new generation of

people to take leadership. One of the great Congresswomen of

New York's twelfth congressional district, Shirley Chisholm, once said, "if they don't

give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair." And that's what we're doing

Is this video? Is this video content? Aw, man.

I'm qualified to run for Congress because this is what it's supposed to be.

People like me, who have done a lot of different things in their lives.

I'm an activist. I'm an attorney. I'm a first-generation American. I'm a proud

business owner. I have a masters in public policy. I've worked for Obama.

I teach business ethics at NYU, which we desperately need in government. I just

haven't held elected office yet, but that's something we're gonna change this November.

So the 12th district encompasses parts of Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, and

I actually think that so much of this part of district is forgotten by the incumbent.

So what we're doing right now is walking around Long Island City and talking to business owners...

Hi! Question? I'm running for Congress. Yeah! Totally.

...and asking them to support us. And people start seeing it, they start

getting curious about what it is, and they look us up, and they find all our cool stuff online.

That's how you win elections — let's go!

Hi! Good afternoon, guys. We have a special guest today talking to you: Suraj Patel. He's a candidate for

Congress in New York 12, this district right here. (Suraj) Hi y'all! How you doing? Good

afternoon, I'm sorry to interrupt your lunch. I'm sure this happens to you all the time.

I'm a candidate for Congress here in New York's

12th Congressional district. I'm a Democrat and I just wanted to get to

know y'all, and hear about what you care about, and then see if we can just have a couple of

conversations. So I'm gonna walk around for a second and then I'll come back up and say a few words.

(Suraj) How are you? (Woman) Hi! Nice to meet you — Toula. (Suraj) Nice to meet you! What's your name?

(Woman) Toula! (Suraj) Toula! Nice to meet you. (Woman) Yes, I'm Greek. 100%.

(Suraj) 100% Greek! Okay! 100% Indian.

There's something really really special about New York, and that is that it is a city defined by aspiration.

It's defined by people doing bold and remarkable things.

Well, I'm a first-time candidate,

because we new people, new energy, new ideas, new blood. Alright, very nice to meet you.

(Woman) I hope you, I hope you— win. (Suraj) Thank you. Make sure you're registered and ready to vote!

(Suraj and Tania) June 26th! (Woman) June 26th? (Suraj and Tania) Yep!

I'm running for Congress because we need bold, fierce, progressive, fighters in

Congress, that we need people to advocate for the future. And for so many years

Congress has been failing at its job. In these districts, in New York City, in

places like that, that are significantly more progressive to the rest of the

country, we ought to be leading intellectually to create, for the

Democratic Party and for America, a vision for the future that gives them

something to hope for and to vote for. And it's not being done right now.

It's no longer okay to be complacent. It's no longer good enough to be good enough.

We need to, you know, have leaders and fighters in these seats

I mean, we need to give people something to vote for.

(Sam) So I grew up in this district. I grew up in the Upper East Side, and I have been

for my entire life represented by Carolyn Maloney, since I've lived in New York.

I've long been of the belief that if you could quantify news literacy, the

NY twelfth would be the first in the country and yet that doesn't translate

to awareness or appreciation for politics at the Congressional level or below.

(Anjelica) Coming from like a brand and advertising background, I just saw so

much low-hanging fruit in terms of the way that campaigns, right now, engage

audiences, and how much they could be doing better to get younger audiences

involved — people who are more digitally savvy, people who respond well

to art and design and culture.

(Tania) The last election was actually the first election that I was

actively a participant I had just become a US citizen, and I was very disappointed

on who won, so I definitely took the year to do as much good as I could, because it

was the only way that I felt good. So I volunteered for UNICEF, Planned Parenthood,

in their advocacy because I wanted to know more about behind the

scenes and how it all works. And what I realized is that policy is where change happens.

(Monique) Politics should be about who we include as opposed to who we exclude, and

as someone who is a newcomer to the world of politics beyond just voting on

voting day, I found that the vocabulary we use in politics is largely excluding

people who don't necessarily spend every single day

in policy, or don't spend every single day in matters that are being voted upon.

But at the same time, these policy measures and these things that we're

voting on, completely apply to every single person in this country.

(Justin) You know, we talk a lot about this 8 percent voter turnout for this district in primaries.

I think that's not the fault of anybody but really the politicians. This is a

district that's not just the Upper East Side. This district is composed of lots

of neighborhoods, lots of very different people. We need somebody that's gonna care about

all those people, advocate for all of those people. I want somebody that's gonna fight for something.

So right now we're going to do um, one of my favorite parts of the week.

Every week, anyb— Oh no. (Oh no.) Hang on!

So this is one of my favorite parts the week, every week, uh, anyone

can go to my website and click "Meet Suraj." And there

you can book me, no matter who you, for coffee or a phone call on Wednesday

afternoons, for two hours. So we're gonna go to The Bean across the street, which is

where we do these, a coffee shop, and meet some great New Yorkers.

Hi! I'm Suraj. Good to meet you. (talking quiety)

(Suraj) So, alright. (Woman) I was just telling him a little bit about myself— (Suraj) Yeah! Tell me what's goin' on.

(Woman) I'm a grad student at the New School. (Suraj) At where? (Woman) The New School.

(Suraj) Okay! Awesome, for what? (Woman) Studying international affairs.

(Anjelica) It's a really interesting year, just in terms of a tipping point

so there's a — an entire generation that's more awake, active, and aware than ever

before. They're thinking about these things for the first time, they're

realizing that they do have a voice and that their voice matters, and they can

actually be the ones to demand change. I think we're gonna see all over the

country this year a whole new electorate of people who are voting, who are feeling

like it's a badge of honor to be civically engaged. So we're gonna see a

massive boost in turnout everywhere.

(Sam) May I have all of your attention, please? My name's Sam, I'm the campaign manager around here.

Thank you all for coming to our happy hour and to our wonderful office space and

celebrating pi day. (Tania) Events matter to build community because it's not enough

to just have everything digital. People still need the human touch, and you can

sell a movement, an idea better in person. Once they meet Suraj, they understand

why we're all doing this. (applause)

I used the joke "let's not be irrational" about 25 times today, and it always

elicits about one laugh. But no, this is a really important day for us, and science

week, and especially because last night we did find out about Stephen Hawking.

This is a man who spent his entire life searching for the truth about the

boundary conditions of the universe. He comes to the conclusion that, what can be

more special than there is no boundary? And that is why he says there should be

no boundaries to human endeavor. On that note I will say one last thing, for "science is real" week.

We started talking about how communities that are

marginalized in our society, minorities, immigrants, women, frankly, LGBTQ

individuals, and all that, we always keep forgetting — or I always did — up until you

know, a couple weeks ago when someone told me to not forget the disabled, which

happen to be the most marginalized — largest minority, in America, community that

we have, and so remember that doctor Stephen Hawking in a prior era would not

have been able to make it to yesterday. And so let's make sure we always

continue to fight for our disabled, just as much as we do about every other marginalized community.

Thank you. (applause)

One of the most remarkable things that I think about

in this moment, as we see an entire generation activated, aware, awake, and out

there rising to its responsibilities as citizens, is

is uh, you know what do like Alexander Hamilton, John Marshall, Aaron Burr,

these guys have in common? Every single one of them was under the age

of 21 when the Declaration of Independence was signed. The most remarkable things in human

history happened when a new generation of people say, "You know what? We're no

longer satisfied with the status quo," that enough is enough, the complacency no

longer has a place here, and that we are going to change the circumstances that we inherited.

So let's change Congress, and let's change our leadership.

Thank you.
