Hey guys, Dr Kate Adams here from Bondi Veterinary Hospital.

I recently got in the mail this little tag.

And it's called "Pet Widget".

And you actually attach this to your dog's collar and you can actually then GPS track

your dog.

So the great thing about this is that you don't have to charge it.

So there are no batteries - that's right, no batteries!

There's no subscription so you just basically buy the Pet Widget, attach this to your dog's

collar and off you go.

Every pet should have one of these!

I've seen a lot of these tracking devices and a lot of them are very bulky, they're

very heavy and they're quite impractical because people actually have to remember to charge

them all the time.

And when your dog is actually lost, it always just so happens that they actually don't have

the tag on.

The better thing about this than just a micro chip is that a micro chip will just essentially

register a chip number, you can't actually register any details on that chip - you then

need someone with a micro chip scanner - like a vet - to be able to then scan the code to

be able to locate the owners.

This way they can be found almost immediately just with a phone.. you are able to scan it.

So if someone else finds your dog for example, they can actually scan the chip and then locate

you.

So I've actually just completed the registration process for this and the app was quite easy

to use, it's quite easy to navigate.

I've got a couple of things that I didn't love about this.

One is, that it's still not little enough to be able to be put on cats.

And I really, really want to find one that is actually good to be put on a cat's collar.

I think personally, it's still a little heavy to be put on a cat's collar.

And the other thing is also.. for the life of me, I have not been able to figure out

how to actually scan this from my phone.

I tried it on this way and it's not scanning.

So I don't actually understand how to scan it.

So I think realistically, if someone actually found your pet, they'd be like 'I don't know

how to scan it'.

So guys, if anyone's listening, I would love some help on how to actually scan this.. it

says 'go to petwidget.com for help' so I went to petwidget.com and I can actually input

manually the code on the back and then I can locate whoever the owner is.

This is the one I'm actually going to put on Benny's collar.

... I don't know where he's gone.

- 'Are you coming over here?

Come on!

Hopes fading for lost British sailor John Fisher in Volvo Ocean Race

Volvo Ocean Race organisers have conceded that the chances of finding lost British sailor John Fisher are fading fast.

The Team Sun Hung Kai crewman fell from yacht Scallywag early this morning (NZ time), while on watch and the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre has assisted in a Southern Ocean search since.

But with weather deteriorating fast, race organisers arent hopeful of success.

Given the severity of the forecast and with nightfall just over an hour away, we acknowledge the chances of a successful recovery are diminishing, they said in a statement.

Team Sun Hung Kai has made the difficult decision to turn downwind and head towards the South American coast - the nearest safe landfall - about 2200km away.

The boat reported Fishers disappearance at 1:42am, about 225km west of Cape Horn, the southern tip of South America.

He was wearing survival equipment when he went overboard and the remaining crew are reported safe. The wind was a strong 35-knot westerly, with water temperature of 9degC at the time of the incident.

Rescue officials discounted the option of diverting other ocean race yachts to the scene to help with the search - the nearest was more than 300km away and downwind. They located a ship about 650km away and diverted that to the scene.

Naturally, we are deeply concerned, especially given the weather conditions, race officials said in an earlier statement. The wind was a strong 35-knot westerly, with water temperature of 9degC at the time of the incident.

The Volvo Ocean Race is a 83,340km event around the world, with a field of seven boats currently contesting Leg 7 from Auckland to Itajai, Brazil.

How to Choose your Hakama Size for Aikido, Iaido & Kendo - Comprehensive Guide - Duration: 3:54.

Hi everyone,

This is your first hakama and you need assistance choosing the correct size?

Here we go, you'll find all the explanations you need in this video.

Seido is only offering 100% made in Japan high end equipment

and therefore focus this guide on traditional Japanese Hakama

and don't mention 'modified' cuts that some other companies might offer.

The size choice depends more on the length of your legs rather than on your actual body height.

How you measure the length also depends on how and at what level you tie it.

Traditionally, men tie the Hakama on the hips and women on the waist,

which means women should generally opt for a longer Hakama.

But that's up to you, so please refer to where YOU tie your Hakama.

In Aikido, the Hakama is usually worn with a "judo-type" belt and should reach the ankle bone.

In Iaido, the Hakama is worn with a wide belt

and is usually a bit shorter to make standing up from a kneeling position easier.

But in the end, it's a matter of taste whether if you prefer it longer or shorter.

The Hakama size, and therefore its length, does not change with your waist,

only the straps length change.

If you have a very strong build, you might need some additional though.

All professional workshops in Japan will measure

the length of the Hakama from below the straps at the front.

If you are not sure if your Hakama is made in Japan,

check that measurement and do not rely on your hakama's size tag.

To find the correct size, the best and easiest way

is to try on a friend's Hakama,

adding or subtracting a few centimeters from the front length, if the model doesn't fit.

Last but not least: don't forget to check the length of the straps!

For Aikido, the general rule is

circumference of where you want to tie your hakama times 4, plus about 60 to 80 cm

or 24 to 31 inches

In Iaido, times 3 only as you will tie the front belt on the back

and therefore need a shorter strap.

Length of the back is similar.

That's the length of the front strap you'll need to tie your hakama in a common manner.

The front strap is measured as one strap,

including the front part of the Hakama and the same goes for the back strap, including the back plate.

For Aikido, standard straps length vary between 400 cm (13 ft) to 440 cm (14,5 ft)

and can be customized if necessary. So make sure you've checked the size table!

Here are the simple solutions for very basic things almost all women

struggle with at some point or the other.

Today in this video i am going to tell about a home made Facial

using a amazing and miracle plant aloe vera.

In this process the First Step is cleansing.

For this we require Aloe vera and Honey.

Take a piece of Aloe vera and add a half spoon of Honey

and rub it on your Face for 5 minutes.

Let it Dry completely and whipe it off with wet cotton.

And the second step is scrubbing.

For this we require Aloe vera, one tablespoon of Rice Flour.

Take another piece of Aloe vera

and add one tablespoon of Rice flour.

And rub it on your skin

for 5 minutes.

Let it be for 20 minutes.

And wash with cold water.

The 3rd Step is Toning.

Required ingredients are a piece of aloe vera

Two Tabelspoon of Rose water

and two table spoons of normal water.

Take a piece of aloe vera

and sqeeze the juice into a bowl.

Add two Table spoons of Rose water

and two table Spoons of normal water.

Mix it well.

Apply this on your Face

and Dab well.

Leave it for 10 minutes

and wash with normal water.

And the Final step is Moisturizing.

For this we require just a piece of Aloe vera.

Take aloe vera and gently rub it on your Face

for 5 minutes.

Let it Dry and whipe it off with cold water.

Now you can clearly observe the difference before and after the Facial.

Do try this often for better results.
