The entire Marvel Cinematic Universe has pretty much been built around the Infinity Stones.

Often called "Infinity Gems" in the comics, these mystic superpowered baubles have shown

up in almost every Marvel Cinematic Universe film to date — and it's all been leading

to Infinity War.

These powerful little rocks have the power to completely destroy the entire Marvel Cinematic

Universe, and Marvel fans have seen big bad Thanos plotting to get his hands on them since

the first Avengers film.

Everything climaxes in Avengers: Infinity War, when he shows up to just take them all

for himself, as the comics predicted.

But where exactly are the Infinity Stones in the MCU?

We've encountered most of them already, and it isn't hard to surmise where in the Marvel

Universe the rest might be scattered.

Here's the full rundown of where we can find all of the MCU's Infinity Stones leading up

to Avengers: Infinity War.

The Mind Stone

Loki used the Mind Stone in his scepter to great effect in The Avengers, brainwashing

folks to do his bidding along the way.

Earth's Mightiest Heroes spent the early part of Avengers: Age of Ultron tracking it down

from HYDRA's control.

Ultron stole it, embedded it in his potential new body, but his plans went south when that

body was stolen by the good guys.

Finally, team Stark tapped into its power to activate the powerful new hero Vision to

help defeat Ultron.

"It's the Mind Stone.

It's one of the six Infinity Stones.

The greatest powers in the universe unparalleled in its destructive capabilities."

One side effect of that creation process?

The Mind Stone is stuck in Vision's forehead.

It's what gives him his immense power, and there's no way to get it out without something

really, really bad happening.

When last we left Vision at the end of 2016's Captain America: Civil War, he was serving

on the "official" Avengers squad under the leadership of Iron Man.

It stands to reason this will be one of the easiest Stones for Thanos to find once he

lands in the middle of New York City, since it'll be attached to a fist that will be punching

him in the head.

If you need more than that, footage from the film's first trailer shows one of Thanos'

minions making a move to pluck it out of Vision's skull.

No word on exactly what that will mean for Vision, but it's probably not good news.

The Space Stone

The Space Stone has been kicking around the MCU since Captain America: The First Avenger,

when it was being called the Tesseract, and has been used by both the Red Skull and Loki

in their attempts at world domination.

S.H.I.E.L.D. also held it for a while to try and mine its capabilities for super-weapons.

After Thor, Iron Man and the gang defeated Loki in The Avengers, the Tesseract was shipped

back to Asgard for safekeeping inside Odin's vault, which housed all kinds of powerful,

but possibly inauthentic, goodies.

"That's not bad."

That was the last place this particular Infinity Stone was seen, and even though Asgard was

destroyed down to its foundations during Thor: Ragnarok, it stands to reason it survived.

Best guess?

Loki was the last person in the vault, so he almost certainly grabbed it before sparking

the match to burn Asgard to the ground on Thor's order.

The first trailer for Infinity War offers its own clues, showing Loki holding the Tesseract

up for someone — so if nothing else, we know he ends up with it somehow.

The Time Stone

The Time Stone was first introduced to the MCU in Doctor Strange as the Eye of Agamotto,

discovered among the artifacts being held by the Masters of the Mystic Arts.

Strange uses it to create a time loop to save the world from the reality-devouring Dormammu,

outsmarting one of the Marvel Universe's most dangerous entities.

But the stone itself isn't without its dangers.

"Temporal manipulations can create branches in time.

Unstable dimensional openings, spatial paradoxes, time loops!"

Despite the fact that he saved the world, Strange is still learning the ropes when it

comes to the mystic arts, so the Time Stone was put back in the hands of the Masters of

the Mystic Arts and is likely being stored at Kamar-Taj in Kathmandu, Nepal.

When Thanos inevitably attacks, it would make sense for him to either come after the Stone.

Perhaps Doctor Strange will arm up with the Eye as he heads into battle with the Mad Titan.

Regardless, like the Mind Stone, that Infinity Stone is already on Earth and should make

for an easy target for Thanos.

The Reality Stone

The chain of custody on the Reality Stone is a bit harder to track than the rest of

the MCU's Infinity Stones.

First introduced in Thor: The Dark World as the extremely powerful Aether sought after

by Malekith, the Reality Stone was eventually recovered by Thor by the end of the film once

the Dark Elves were vanquished.

After that, the pmid-credits scene in The Dark World revealed the Asgardians decided

to hand the Stone off to the Collector for safekeeping, because of the dangers of keeping

two stones in the same place.

"One down, five to go."

The Collector's home on Knowhere was eventually destroyed in Guardians of the Galaxy, though

it stands to reason he dug the Reality Stone out of the rubble and is still in possession

of it at this point.

That's assuming he hasn't simply sold it off to Thanos in the meantime, of course.

The Power Stone

Most Marvel movies revolve around powerful MacGuffins, but few are as powerful as the

mysterious orb everyone is fighting over in the first Guardians of the Galaxy.

That world-destroying orb is the Power Stone, which Peter Quill tracks down on a planet

during the film's opening scenes.

Ronan the Accuser later attempts to use it to wipe Xandar off the map.

Quill eventually reacquires it, and holds hands with the rest of his team, and uses

its power to take out Ronan once and for all.

Once the battle was won, Quill handed the Power Stone over to the Nova Corps for safekeeping

on Xandar.

Presuming it hasn't wandered off to another spot in the MCU, it Thanos will probably have

to wage war against the entire intergalactic police force to get his hands on this particular

Infinity Stone.

The Soul Stone

The first few phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have done most of the heavy lifting

introducing the majority of the Infinity Stones, but one mystery remains: The Soul Stone.

The mysterious final stone has yet to be formally introduced in the MCU — though there are

a few theories.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has already planted the seed for Adam Warlock's introduction,

and the Soul Stone is intimately connected to his origin story in the comics.

So if Marvel wanted to bring that character into the fold ahead of Guardians Volume 3,

it'd make for a convenient outlet.

The most likely option, though, seems to be Black Panther.

The land of Wakanda is the most technologically advanced on the planet, and is an extremely

spiritual place, to the point we see Black Panther actually travel to the spirit realm

to confer with his late father.

Looking to the footage we've seen of Infinity War, Wakanda seems to factor in heavily — to

the point we see a full Wakandan army charging into battle.

Could Wakanda be in possession of the final Infinity Stone, and that charge is the nation's

battle to keep it from falling into Thanos' hands?

It'd make a lot of sense, and give Black Panther real stakes in Thanos' assault.

The Gauntlet

All of the MCU's Infinity Stones have to fit together somehow, and that's where the Infinity

Gauntlet comes in.

It's designed to hold them all and give the wearer practically godlike powers, and Thanos

has a leg up on the competition: The post-credits scene of Avengers: Age of Ultron showed Thanos

wearing the Stone-less gauntlet; he only needs to gather the Stones when Infinity War rolls

around.

As keen-eyed fans are likely also aware, the Infinity Gauntlet was previously shown all

the way back in 2011's Thor, when it was featured in the background of Odin's vault.

It created a continuity problem once things started barreling toward an eventual war with

Thanos, so Thor: Ragnarok cleverly retconned that Gauntlet.

"Odin's treasures."

"FAKE.

Most of the stuff in here is fake."

It made for a fun joke, but also cleaned up a messy plot thread that had been left dangling

since 2011.

Infinity Stones assembled

Promo art, action figures, and early footage from Avengers: Infinity War shows Thanos in

possession of all the Infinity Stones in the MCU, which doesn't bode well for Earth's Mightiest

Heroes.

If the MCU Gauntlet has a power set similar to the one in the comics, all the heroes in

the MCU will have their hands full stopping Thanos.

It allows the wearer to manipulate time and change the past, manipulate space and matter,

and basically rewrite reality itself on a whim.

The comics version of the gauntlet, when fully powered, can also give the wearer godlike

omnipotence.

Which means Thanos is about to make the Avengers and their friends' lives very, very difficult.

"Ready?"

"Let's go."

Is Silicon Valley Over? - Duration: 2:01.

So there was a story in the New York Times and it got a lot of buzz. It was

about a group of venture capitalists - it was a bus tour, kind of a luxury bus tour.

from Silicon Valley to the Rust Belt, and the idea of the story was that people

are considering leaving Silicon Valley for cheaper places in the Midwest and

that Silicon Valley as a thing is kind of over. But it's mostly bogus. You had a

bunch of venture capitalists who took a bus tour. They loved what they saw they

said, "Wow! Wouldn't it be nice to live here?" But but the way I think about it

was - I took a ski trip with my family two weeks ago and I remembered saying to my

wife at one point man, "I could live here in Vermont. "This seems great." And then we

drove home. And that's kind of what this is. We've seen no actual movement of

venture capitalists into the Midwest from either coast, and I don't think

we're going to.

Are you seeing people starting to see opportunities outside Silicon Valley? No question...no

question. And Silicon Valley is great. It will continue to be great. We've never

said in order for the rest to rise Silicon Valley needs to fall, but at the

same time we'll see these other places Baltimore and st. Louis the Madison

Minneapolis and Albuquerque and New Orleans and Atlanta continue to rise.

Are you seeing people actually leave - relocate from tech hubs like Silicon Valley or New York or is it

more kind of interest from afar? It's it's a mix, but for now most of it is

the funds are still located on the coast but at least now are a little more open

to looking at companies and other places. I think there are political reasons why

is this conversation is happening. This past election made people realize that

there is a real disparity of opportunity when you look at venture capital funding.

The majority of it goes to three states California, New York and Massachusetts

and so there's now this proactive effort to say, "Hey - look, there's actually a lot

of opportunity outside of those areas. Let's go find out what's happening there."

What Is A Sapiosexual And How Will You Know If You Are One - Duration: 17:55.

What Is A Sapiosexual And How Will You Know If You Are One

by Matt Bailey

Sapiosexual: The Definition Sapiosexual is derived from the Latin word

sapiens, which means intelligent or wise, and sexualis, which relates to the sexes.

A sapiosexual, or less popularly called as sapiophile, is an individual who is attracted

to or aroused by the intelligence of other people.

Individuals who are sapiosexuals prefer intelligence more than any other quality in a potential

partner.

Although intelligence is a factor we commonly look for when searching for our right match,

sapiosexuals make intelligence the top requirement.

It is safe to say that they fall in love with the persons mind.

According to psychologists, the brain is the largest sex organ.

For sapiosexuals, intelligence is the salient and most sexually attractive of all qualities

in a person.

Chemistry plays a big role in attraction and relationships.

However, personality traits also undoubtedly play a large part in attraction, apart from

other factors such as physical appearance, wealth, and status (depending on what one

is attracted to).

Personality characteristics are among the factors that determine whether one person

will be drawn to another.

Most people are usually drawn towards qualities such as friendliness, charisma, thoughtfulness,

intelligence, and kindness.

With sapiosexuals, it is intelligence that is the greatest draw and the sexiest aspect

of a potential partner or mate.

Experts say that people who are in a sapiosexual relationship have a higher probability of

making it long-term because the intimacy between them goes beyond physical aspects.

Connection and communication are of the greatest importance to them.

What does it mean to be a sapiosexual?

An individual who admits to being a sapiosexual will say that he or she is turned on by the

brain, and gets excited or titillated by the insights of other people.

It also means that the individual you are attracted to tends to be inquisitive, incisive,

intellectual, and even irreverent.

Sapiosexuals often crave philosophical, psychological, or political discussions as these topics turn

them on.

There are also cases of purely platonic friendships that are fired up by the individuals sapiosexual

desires and there is great intellectual synergy.

Such relationships can often be observed in the workplace and may be considered another

aspect of sapiosexualitythat is, the need to interact and be connected with intelligent

people, and the result need not be emotional or sexual intimacy.

Intelligent Conversation Topics Two sapiosexuals may find any intelligent

interest a connecting factor.

Two scientists may be sapiosexuals, and their passion and interest in science may allow

them to discuss the topic in a way that brings about a very attractive conversation for them

both.

Sapiosexuals naturally value intelligent conversations, and therefore common interests in intelligent

topics will likely bring sapiosexuals together.

Some conversation topics may include:

Classic literature Politics

Sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, computer science, or environmental

science) Health and the medical field

Philosophy History

Mathematics Language

Examples of Sapiosexuals There are a number of celebrities who have

shown signs of being sapiosexual.

Some famous people have a known history of dating top models, but have not settled down

with any of them.

Maybe good looks just werent enough for a lifetime commitment.

Some of these famous people who are known for dating beautiful people in the past have

ultimately married a person with high intelligence.

George Clooney is an excellent example of one of these celebrities.

His history is filled with models, but he ultimately chose to marry Amal Clooney, previously

Amal Alamuddin, who is a human rights lawyer and activist.

Some well-known fictional characters have also shown signs of being sapiosexual.

Lets take Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

The very handsome heartthrob of her village, Gaston, wanted to marry her, but she was not

interested in him.

Instead, Belle fell in love with the beast.

As unattractive as the beast was physically, Belle loved his knowledge of books and his

impressive library.

The two could discuss literature together, and this intellectual attraction caused Belle

to fall in love.

Belle and the beast discussed novels.

This intellectual connection won over their hearts.

For others, topics of conversation could be biology or politics.

Can you think of any other real-life celebrities or fictional characters that might be sapiosexual?

How will you know if youre a sapiosexual?

Youre a sapiophile if you are challenged or aroused by how another person thinks, and

you are in love with the other persons mind.

Another newly minted word related to sapiosexuals is nymphobrainiac.

People who are nymphobrainiac are aroused by engaging with the intellect of another

person.

However, this neologism sounds pathological or extreme to some people.

A common feature among sapiosexuals is that they can identify intelligence in other people

almost instantly.

For instance, a sapiosexual who is reading a book about French literature is greatly

turned on when someone approaches him or her and comments on the book.

A sapiosexual is attracted to a person who is knowledgeable about the things that interest

the sapiosexual.

To know if you are a sapiosexual, ask yourself the questions listed below:

Do you get sexually attracted to other people only when you detect that they have wit, intelligence,

and taste?

Does a persons looks hold very little weight with respect to whether or not you find them

sexually attractive?

Have you ever lost sexual interest in someone upon realizing that he or she was not intelligent

enough for you?

Does a person who is very smart seem to be a lot better to you than someone who is not?

Would you decline a person making advances if you found out that he or she didnt read

much or worse, didnt read at all?

Do you get sexually aroused by a persons display of great knowledge and intelligence?

Would you reject someone who isnt able to keep up with you in intellectual discussions?

Are you disgusted by the idea of having sex with someone who didnt go to college or

who has no interest in higher education?

Do you think that you cant enjoy sex with someone if you dont or cant intellectually

connect with them?

If you answer yes to all or most of the questions, then you could call yourself

a sapiosexual.

Other Sapiosexual Indicators 1.

You find other people more attractive as you get to know them.

A sapiosexual does not care much if a person is not physically attractive.

A sapiosexual finds the other person increasingly attractive the more they talk and get to know

each other.

The reason is that being a sapiosexual means that the main attraction of a person is his

or her intelligence.

The more a sapiosexual discovers the mind of another person, the more fascinating it

becomes.

2.

Instead of casual sex, youd rather have a great conversation.

Sapiosexuals are turned on and fulfilled by mental activities more than physical ones.

However, it does not necessarily mean that they would not have casual sex.

Its just that they prefer more challenging and thought-provoking conversations.

3.

You are definitely turned on by what a person knows rather than what he or she has.

Wealth and social status are of less importance to you.

What intrigues you is the persons knowledge and intellect, and what energizes them to

achieve personal greatness.

4.

You just cannot put up with bad grammar.

In choosing partners, a sapiosexual tends to choose one whose level of intelligence

is similar to or higher than theirs.

A person with bad grammar is a big turnoff for sapiosexuals.

5.

You are turned on by any form of knowledge.

The person need not have a genius-level IQ or be at the top of his or her class.

What matters to you are the interest and profound love the person has for whatever form of knowledge.

Other Sexual Orientations and Sexual Behavior There are also other sexual orientations and

types of sexual behavior, which include those classified as sexual deviations and disorders

by the DSM-5.

A sexual orientation describes the pattern of an individuals sexual attraction based

on gender.

It is different from affectional or romantic orientation, which indicates the sex or gender

a person is most likely to have a romantic relationship or fall in love with.

The three basic types of sexual orientation are monosexual, asexual, and polysexual.

Monosexual The monosexual type of sexual orientation is exclusively attracted to one

gender.

Examples of monosexuals are people who are straight, lesbian, or gay.

Asexual Individuals whose orientation is asexual are those who do not experience

any sexual desires or attraction to other people at all.

Polysexual It is a person whose sexual orientation is attracted to multiple genders.

Other terms for polysexual are bisexual, pansexual, and queer.

Through the years, a number of neologisms describing non-heterosexual and sexual orientations

have been coined, as the landscape of gender identity and sexual orientations have also

changed.

Below are some of the terms used to denote various sexual orientations and behaviors

that have been identified.

Note that some of them are considered deviations, abnormal behaviors, or disorders in the DSM-5.

Some are even illegal in most places.

Heterosexual This is also known as being straight,

as this is the conventional sexual orientation, in which a person is attracted only to the

opposite sex.

Homosexual Homosexuality is the sexual attraction or

desire between individuals of the same sex.

Pedophilia Pedophilia is described as a sexual attraction

toward children at the pre-puberty stage, that is, 13 years of age or below.

A pedophile must be at least 16 years old, and at least five years older than the child.

Some pedophiles have gender preferences while some are aroused by both boys and girls.

Exhibitionism This is characterized by recurrent and strong

fantasies, behaviors, or sexual urges involving the exposure of ones genitals to an unwary

stranger.

Voyeurism People with voyeurism derive sexual pleasure

from watching others engaged in intimate, private actions such as undressing and sexual

activities.

A voyeur who does this secretively is commonly called a peeping Tom.

Bestiality Also known as zoophilia, bestiality is engaging

in sexual activities with animals.

Bestiality is explicitly illegal in most US states and many countries around the world.

Bisexual This sexual orientation is characterized by

having sexual desires and relationships with both males and females.

Coprophilia People with coprophilia have sexual desires

associated with defecation and feces.

Frotteurism This is characterized by recurrent and powerful

sexual fantasies, behaviors, or sexual urges that involve touching or rubbing ones genitals

against another person without his or her consent.

Demisexual People who are demisexuals are not sexually

attracted to others until they feel a deep bond with or romantic feelings for the other

person.

These people need to be friends first before they become sexually involved.

Pansexual People who are pansexuals are attracted to

individuals of any gender identity or sexual orientation.

Autosexual An autosexual is a person who prefers self-gratification

or autoeroticism rather than having sex with other people.

Gynephilia This is an attraction towards femininity,

and is seen in both men and women.

Omnisexual This refers to a person who feels the same

amount of sexual attraction towards anyone regardless of their sex or gender identity.

Spectrasexual Sexual attraction is geared toward various

genders or sexes.

Fetishism This type of sexual orientation involves fantasies

or sexual urges involving the use of particular objects such as female undergarments.

Klismaphilia This is characterized by sexual arousal or

pleasure derived from enemas.

Necrophilia This is an abnormal obsession with death and

the dead, particularly having an erotic attraction or desire for corpses.

Partialism People with partialism are focused on and

aroused by only a particular part of a body.

Sexual Masochism This type of sexual orientation involves being

beaten, humiliated, bound, or made to suffer, as these acts arouse the persons sexual

fantasies and urges.

Sexual Sadism This involves recurrent, intense, and sexually

arousing fantasies or sexual urges, in which the physical or psychological suffering of

a person is sexually exciting to the other person.

Telephone Scatologia This is the repetitive sexual obsession of

making obscene telephone calls to other people.

Transgenderism This type of sexual orientation is where the

gender identity of a person is unclear.

The person takes on the sexual identity of either a male or female to carry out his or

her sexual behavior and fantasies.

Transsexual A transsexual is a person who identifies him-

or herself as having the identity of the opposite sex.

Sometimes, the person undergoes surgery or hormone injections to achieve the change of

sex that he or she wants.

Urophilia This is a fetish for urine or urinating, or

a dependency on either for sexual pleasure.

Polyamory People who practice polyamory have non-exclusive

intimate relationships with the people they are attracted to.

Pomosexual A pomosexual does not identify with a particular

label or orientation, does not find any of them useful, and thus, disregards them.

Skoliosexual A skoliosexual is a person who is sexually

attracted to people with gender-variant behavior.

Menosexual A menosexual is sexually aroused by those

who are menstruating.

Lithromantic This refers to a person who is romantically

attracted to a person, but does not want or need his or her feelings reciprocated.

Androgynoromantic An androgynoromantic person feels a romantic

attraction toward androgynous people (individuals whose expression is both masculine and feminine).

How Senior Care Tech Adoption is Driving Care Transformation - Duration: 3:38.

(adventurous music)

- Welcome back! It's great to see

so many of you joining us today. And I am

so excited for this next interview.

This is Ginna Baik.

She is CDW's Senior Care Expert.

And honestly is one of my favorite

people at HIMSS every year. [Ginna Baik] - Aw...

- I mean it. - You're so sweet.

(laughs)

- So do you... - You're my favorite too.

-Oh, okay!

- Well! Here's why... why I always love talking

to you. Because your passion for what you do

always comes through. So, could you just

take a minute, and tell us how did you get into

senior care, and tell us a little bit about

CDW's commitment to the senior care space.

- You know. It's like right time, at the

right time of your life. And I was given an

opportunity to support folks that are over

the age of 85, inside of a senior care community.

And they asked me to engage and to see if the

Greatest Generation would adopt technology.

That's how I met CDW, because I actually needed

someone to help me deploy the technology

in a scalable fashion. And I met our VP at

the time, Bob Rossi, and he was not only

engaged, but he also saw the future

pretty clearly, like nine years ago

that this was happening, the demographic

shift. I was joking that now we're trendy

because see the "silver tsunami" is everywhere,

and we were talking about it years in advance.

What's really great is that CDW saw it. They

had the vision, and they felt, "We wanted to

do this right." They brought me on board to really

drive this business practice, to really

transform care and make a difference with

this population that impacts everybody.

Super exciting. - It's awesome. And what's

fascinating to me, is just to think about,

you know, nine years ago, where we were,

you know, where care, the continuum of care was then,

and where it is now, and where it's going.

So, what do you see for the future of Senior

Care in the care continuum?

- Well, the one thing is, digital health

is exploding, and the uses were all the time,

but what it means to senior care is that you

have folks that can adopt technology,

which you're seeing a more tech-savvier

older adult, which is awesome. But you also

have technology that's being created

for real people. Which, when you kind of start

to see that there is this nexus is happening

where there are older populations adopting

technology, using it and living it, which is

really starting to kind of optimize workflow

inside of senior care facilities, optimize

workflow at health care, and then at the end

of the day, the more people using it the more

opportunity to transform the

overall care continuum. So, I think

we have a massive opportunity, and

we are right there to see it happen.

- Wow. So, exciting times, in how care is

evolving. And CDW's really grateful to be

a part of it. So, Ginna thank you so much!

And now, everybody, you have a chance to

participate with us. So, we have a poll question.

What technology do you think is most valuable

to the patient? So, go ahead and answer in

the comments, and we'll have results for you

in just a bit. So stay tuned.
