Apple's nice move with the new Emojis.

A problem in S9 screens is being investigated.

We will talk about other things, one of which is who and what are Facebook?

Peace be upon you all. This is your host, Faisal Alsaif.

Let's start our tech news with Instagram. A new feature that not all people will like it will be added to Instagram.

You will receive news banners on your story in Instagram.

Ads and sponsored ads will spread more, and your timeline won't be as you like it to be.

Your timeline won't be choreographically synced. Sponsored ads will be at the top of your timeline.

It is a sad thing, yet Instagram are trying so hard to prove themselves.

A new feature is also coming to Snapchat, where it will let you know where your friends are and send you notifications.

When you post a story with people, you are connected with them in the discovery. If these people gather again without you, you will receive a notification.

It could be to tease you or something like that.

Snapchat are trying to invent. They are doing their best. Forgive them. They are very famous in KSA.

By the way, while you are watching this video, I will be on my way to Paris. You can follow me in Snapchat and Instagram to follow Huawei's P20 conference.

Is it possible to have a 40MB camera on a phone? It could be 'Stitching' where your photos will be stitched together to produce a 40MB photo.

The idea could be like this. What else could they implement on their device?

By the way, speaking of P20, there is a newly released device from Huawei that we reviewed and it was watched more than 100k times.

The phone is called Nova 3E

P20 Lite may not be present in the conference, because we've already seen in our channel.

It is a hint *wink wink*

Anyway, P20 will come in variant; P20 and P20 Pro. I guess they will focus a lot on the Pro version.

We need a premium phone from Huawei, not business phones like the mate.

We want it premium like the P, P10 and now P20.

We want this category to prove itself and prove that it has potential. Let's wait and see.

We are there in France now. Tell us thank God for your safety.

We have Atari computer from 1977 in Tech Pills Archive.

There are many qualities about Atari, and their OSs are great.

And by they way, they buried some devices in the desert to kill it, and they game they were trying to kill is called ET.

I'd like to apologize for a mistake we made in the last episode. We spoke about Boston Analytics. It was Cambridge Analytica

It is the company that caused Facebook scandal, where they used 50m users' data.

I don't know what did I say Boston analytics. It could be because Boston Dynamics.

I am excited for Boston Dynamics. I follow their news a lot. It affected my memory. I apologize. It's called Cambridge Analytica.

Speaking of which, Mark Zuckerberg made an official apology.

He apologized in an official interview on TV. He appeared regretful and perplexed.

I will post a link of his apology. It is translated. Look at his face during the apology.

There were a lot of people in the last episode who agreed that Facebook has fake news, yet they use it.

People are indeed against Facebook and its fake news.

There was a conversation between few people and Elon Musk in twitter.

Elon Musk is Mark Zuckerberg foe in AI.

When asked about Facebook, he said: What is Facebook? Thats why I said what is facebook at the beginning of the episode.

So, what is Facebook?

People were confused about his question.

They told him that you have a SpaceX page on Facebook.

He said that he will delete the page immediately.

He was also asked about another page, in which he replied that he will delete it too.

Elon Musk indeed deleted everything that has to do with Facebook.

Facebook is indeed facing a huge problem in PR, connections and so on.

Facebook is in huge problem now.

After what we just said, will you remove Facebook from your device, you've already removed it, or you won't remove it? Give us your opinions.

Scientists have invented a new device that can scan brains

Usually, scanning brains needs fixed devices that don't move, where patients are put inside it so that they can scan brains.

The new device gives doctors the ability to move, because the device is basically a helmet

This helmet will make it easier for patients to scan their brains.

I remember my father, may his rest in peace, needed to make a scan. It was very difficult for him and for me. I was with him.

It is good that medicine is improving. I wish all our loved ones and families are safe and sound.

Pray for my father, may his soul rest in peace. And pray for all the ones who you lost.

DJI is demanded to produce the biggest order for drones from a construction company in Japan.

This Japanese company is developing a system that can scan and monitor building process using drones.

They chose DJI to supply the drones for them.

Congratulations for DJI

Waiting for legal procedures in KSA, Gulf area and Arab World to enable people to use drones and have permits for them.

We talked about this in the last episode. I asked for connections to communicate with officials. I indeed called them. We are waiting for the official reply.

You can use credit cards in KSA to buy from the internet.

A new beautiful unprecedented law will enable credit cards holders (that are used in ATM machines) to buy from the internet.

If you have this card, you can buy online. There are few laws that need to be followed. I will post a link to it. It is a good thing to happen here.

Samba bank in KSA posted a weird tweet.

They tweeted that if you want to open your online account, we prefer you to use a desktop to log in to your account and not use a phone.

Why? What's wrong?

Should I not download the app? Should I look for a desktop? Strange.

Did they delete the tweet? They did!

Do you remember the Panda? We have it in Tech Pills Archive. We received it as a gift from our friend Mlazlaz. Thank you.

When asked about whether you trust Facebook in the last episode, most of you said I don't trust it.

When also asked about robots and their shape, most of you replied we want it to look like humans. Logical.

Popular Science magazine. This is not an ad. This magazine is issued in Dubai.

Faisal Alsaif is one of the Advisory Board of Popular Science magazine.

If you have an article you suggest from this magazine (not this version, the newer one) to make a video, please tell us what article and we will make it.

There is a bug in Pixel XL phones with the new 8.1 update.

The bug makes your phone overcharge.

The bug is being fixed by Google.

Google said they will announce a new update very soon. If you have Pixel download the update.

Thank you AbdelWahhab for explaining about the bugs.

Those who use an original charger won't be affected by this bug. Always use original chargers.

I will speak about a subject that I have been deeply investigating.

Have you heard of quick charge batteries? Power drive? Smart hub charge?

Every power bank company have a different name for their technologies.

Not all these technologies are certain. It could be harmful for your phone.

Do you prefer if we make a video about power banks to explain pros and cons?

And how companies marketed their power banks.

If you agree, vote yes, if not, vote no.

Or like the video. All of you like the video. I want a like this time.

Captions is now available on Tech Pills news videos. You can activate it on your mobile or your browser.

We hope our voice will be heard by more people so that they can benefit from it.

Let's discuss Samsung and Apple news. This time we will make their news together. Why?

Galaxy S9 Plus in particular and S9 in general have issues in some displays.

Samsung stated that they care about consumers, and that the issues some of their phones are having are under investigations.

The moment the investigations are done, they will fix the issue.

If you have S9 or S9 Plus, don't worry if you have a problem in the display.

Let's wait for the official statement from Samsung so that we can discuss this matter.

We will talk about Apple and connect the two subjects together.

Apple may have foldable phones in the year 2020.

Why will they make their phones foldable? Because the year 2018 will be the year of foldable phones.

These phones will be popular in 2018 and 2019. Then Apple will make theirs.

Any new technology is marketed towards consumers. Some people like these new technologies, others don't.

Some companies who haven't adopted new technologies start to adopt it.

They saved money from marketing.

There are companies that innovate, and others that follow.

I don't know what to say.

Which companies follow?

Let's go back to our subject. Apple may produce foldable phones in 2020.

There is an agreement between Samsung and Apple on OLED screens that are used in iPhone X.

The agreement is nearly finalized. Apple will get the screens from Samsung with the same price they got from iPhone X's screens.

The new iPhone X screen that will be 5.8-ish will be the same price as the iPhone X's screen.

Apple will have more profit. Reports say that the new upcoming iPhone is cheaper to manufacture than iPhone X.

I hope Apple will review their prices to enable more people to have iPhone X.

There are other news on Apple. The first one says the authorities in USA use dead people's fingerprints to unlock their phones.

And that this procedure is 100% legal to finish investigations.

Some cases don't have adjudication approval, yet they use dead people's fingerprints to unlock their phones to get more information.

They use dead people's fingerprints to unlock their device.

There is no law in the Arab World on this matter. I'd like to know if there is a law or not.

Let's go to the other news on Apple. I respect Apple for this news.

Apple is one of the companies that care about accessibilities and disabled people.

Apple issued new emojis for disabled people.

Congratulations for them on these emojis.

We will talk about something that we asked you about in the last episode about developing the thumbnail.

We received a lot of suggestions. We are considering these suggestions. If you have a suggestion, send it to us.

Thank you. This is the end of the video. This is the end of the video. Glory and praise be to Allah. I witness there is no God but Allah. I ask Allah for forgiveness and I repent to Him.

Peace be upon you all.

Dying Newborn Calf Is Abandoned On The Side Of The Road, Completely Alone In The World - Duration: 3:05.

Dying Newborn Calf Is Abandoned On The Side Of The Road, Completely Alone In The World

Rescuers from India-based rescue organization Animal Aid Unlimited were driving down the

road one day when they spotted a little calf laying on her side.

The calf was so skinny, every one of her ribs was visible, and she was too weak to move.

The rescuers quickly jumped into action to save the little calf.

On their Facebook page, Animal Aid Unlimited discussed why the calf, who they named Merry,

might have been on the side of the road on her own:

"So small.

Discarded.

Alone and almost faded away.

Beautiful Merry was rescued after someone dumped her on the road.

She must have walked until she was too weary to stand anymore.

Or maybe her mother had died and the owner didn't want to pay for milk."

Even though the rescuers weren't sure how Merry ended up on her own, the one thing they

did know was they had to help her.

The rescuers went over to Merry.

She didn't even seem to notice them—she was suffering too much to pay attention to

the outside world.

One of the rescuers picked Merry up and brought her to Animal Aid Unlimited's truck.

They carefully laid her down in the back and brought her over to their sanctuary.

At the sanctuary, veterinarians quickly gave Merry IV fluids and milk to help with her

severe dehydration.

Merry was still too weak to move, but the veterinarians didn't give up on her.

For four days, they gave her all the IV fluids and milk she needed.

On Merry's fifth day in the sanctuary, she stood up for the first time.

Merry's steps were hesitant at first as she recovered from everything she had been

through.

But soon, the curious little calf was wandering around the barn, taking in her new world.

"It took her 5 days before she could stand.

She needed lots of physical contact which was lovingly provided by staff and volunteers.

And she blossomed into the beautiful girl she is today," Animal Aid Unlimited wrote

on Facebook.

Now, Merry has transformed into a happy and healthy calf.

She put on weight and regained her energy.

She now spends her days running around the sanctuary like a puppy!

Merry has captured the hearts of all the workers and volunteers at Animal Aid Unlimited—they

love seeing how happy she is!

Merry has also made friends with the other cows at the sanctuary.

She loves running around and saying hi to everyone.

Merry will spend the rest of her life at Animal Aid Unlimited, happy and safe and with lots

of friends around her.

She'll be able to grow into a healthy adult cow who won't ever have to worry about being

abandoned again.

This little calf has found a wonderful home where she'll always be safe and loved.

If you'd like to help Animal Aid Unlimited rescue more animals like Merry, consider donating

to their organization.

What Is Hypoglycemia? (Reverse Hypoglycemia) - Duration: 7:09.

Today we're going to explain some of the basics of hypoglycemia so stay tuned. Hey

I'm Dr. Ekberg with Wellness For Life and if you'd like to truly master health

by understanding how the body really works make sure that you subscribe and

hit that notification bell so that you don't miss anything.

What is hypoglycemia? Hypo means low or under and glycemia means glucose in the

blood, sugar in the blood. So hypoglycemia is low blood sugar and

then most people would think well if you've got a low blood sugar then let's

eat a bunch of sugar to get it up and that seems like a tempting idea and

that's what a lot of people do and in the short term that's going to sort of

reset your blood sugar and you feel better for a short time but in the long

run it is the worst thing that you can do and it is the thing that caused the

problem and it's the thing that perpetuates it so let's look a little

bit about the how the system works so blood sugar is measured in milligrams

per deciliter and your body likes it somewhere between eighty to a hundred

and twenty a fasting blood sugar should be eighty to a hundred with a sweet spot

somewhere like eighty five to ninety and with that level of blood sugar your body

can produce stable energy long term no huge peaks

no sudden valleys but we have steady supply that's what the brain likes

that's what your cells like and a hundred milligrams of blood sugar means

that at any given time the average person has about 1 teaspoon of glucose

or sugar circulating in their blood that's their energy supply so to speak

from from blood sugar and that's like a slow drip it's not like throwing a whole

bucket in at all at once so if your system is designed for about one T's

boon of glucose carbs at a time then it doesn't know what to do it's it's an

emergency it's a crisis if we dump a whole lot more than that in at any given

time so processed foods go into the bloodstream very very quickly so when we

say sugar we're not just talking about open up a bag of white sugar and start

spooning it into your mouth it is just as bad your blood sugar rises equally

quick from a number of other things let's take a look a coke will have eight

teaspoons of sugar a bagel 10 teaspoons of sugar fries

12 teaspoons of sugar a muffin 15 teaspoons of sugar and if you go all out

and you have three slices of pizza that's 24 teaspoons of sugar and your

body is designed to have about one teaspoon at a time that's what it knows

how to deal with so let's look at what happens first we have to understand

insulin in relation to blood sugar so when we eat whole foods like meat and

vegetables the blue line here our blood sugar is going to stay within a very

narrow range it's going to rise slowly and it's going to drop slowly and we

only need a little bit of insulin to help that sugar out of the bloodstream

and into the cell but if we eat one of these foods or any processed modern

convenience food then blood sugar is not going to stay in the hundreds it's gonna

go very very quickly in a matter of minutes not hours but minutes it's gonna

get into the 200-300 range sometimes and that's an emergency just like a diabetic

can get a coma from extremely low blood sugar they can get a coma from really

high blood sugar the brain really doesn't like those huge swings so this

is an emergency and the body is going to produce

emergency amount of insulin so you get this huge red spike of insulin to handle

all that excess blood sugar but if the insulin goes this high and it tries to

get that blood sugar out very very quickly the blood sugar is going to drop

very very quickly and do you think that at that sudden drop with that huge

amount of insulin do you think it's going to slow down and just smoothly

taper off at the ideal level no there's too much insulin in the system so it's

gonna overshoot and down here is what's called hypoglycemia and now you get

fatigue you get irritable you get shaky you lose focus you can't concentrate you

get in a bad mood until you can get your hands on some sugar because when you're

really down here when you're really far down that's an emergency too

you can't function down here and your body is screaming give me some blood

sugar and now you go to the vending machine and you have something quick a

candy bar a food bar an energy bar or something a coke chips whatever and now

we get the spike and we're on this eternal blood sugar roller coaster so

what caused the problem of hypoglycemia was the sugar because the processed

sugar creates a rollercoaster the solution even though in the moment the

thing that will be the quickest to make you feel better when you're down here is

sugar again that's the worst thing that you can do in the long run because it

perpetuates the problem the only way to solve this long-term is to stay away

from these foods learn what low glycemic index foods are meat vegetables fat and

teach your body how to get back into this range to where it knows how to

produce stable energy hope that was helpful if you

enjoy content like this make sure that you subscribe and hit that notification

bell and if you know someone who has hypoglycemia or blood sugar issues or

diabetic or insulin resistance make sure that you share this content with them

because it can be life-saving. Thanks for watching

- It's been a fun little journey.

I'm actually a registered nurse.

And I had been nursing for 35 years.

And because of all the, I guess,

heavy lifting and the work that's involved with it

my body became broken.

So, I had to stop my clinical nursing

and I have to tell you, I loved it.

I had a passion.

And I felt very lost.

What was I gonna do,

I identify myself as being Nancy Nurse.

So, I was one day just getting ready

to go on a trip to China

and I met this woman and I didn't even know her

and I said you know I'm excited about this trip

but the idea of wearing this underwire

for 17 hours on a plane

is just freaking me out.

And without even knowing her,

she lifted her blouse and said,

"Not if you're wearing one of these."

And I was like, "Hi, my name is Nancy." uh yeah.

And I said, "I don't wear that shape wear stuff.

"I don't wear that."

And she explained to me how it's different.

And we talked a little bit and she told me how

and I'm like, "Where do you go buy it?"

And she said, "Well you can't buy it in a store,

"it's bought through direct sales."

I'm like, "Uh, not direct sales."

And I've experienced that before

and anyway, on a wing and a prayer,

we called her niece that sells it in California.

I ordered it and it arrived at my door

the day before I left for China

and I put it on and I have to tell you

it actually changed my life.

I was comfortable on the plane,

I fell in love with it.

And when I got back from China,

I called her up and I said,

"I need to have more because I'm ready to ditch my bra,

"I never want to wear it again."

And she came to my house, she came from California

'cause no one was selling it here in Nevada.

And I experienced having a trunk show,

which is how, one of the ways

in which we introduce it to women.

And I had 10 of my friends come,

they tried it on

and I told them, "You don't have to buy anything."

I'm not selling and yet another thing,

don't buy anything, just be polite

because I'm gonna make it worth your while.

Well when they left, this gal said,

"Well, you're getting all this free stuff."

It was like $146 of free goods

and half-off items, and I looked at her

and I asked her a rude question I guess,

I'm like, "How much did you spend?"

I mean, "How much did you make in spending

"this time with me?"

And she told me and I said,

"And there's no one doing this in Las Vegas?"

She said, "No."

And I thought oh my gosh,

this is my opportunity.

This is, 'cause I've already become passionate

about wearing this shape wear

and I hate even using this word,

wearing a cami,

that I wanted the opportunity to share it with more women.

And that's how I began

and it's just been an amazing journey.

I found different groups of women

all over the valley

and I knew that this was it.

I knew that this was what I was meant to do.

And I get choked up when I think about it.

Sorry.

I've fit a woman who is a breast cancer survivor.

And she came out,

she'd only had a partial mastectomy.

And partial reconstruction rather,

and she came out of the bathroom

after I had fit her.

and she was crying.

And I thought oh my gosh,

what did I do?

What did I do to you know, hurt this woman?

And she cried and she said,

"Thank you, you've made me feel beautiful again."

And I knew, I knew then

that this is what my next calling was you know.

And I've started the business and it's been amazing,

amazing journey.

Sorry for getting all choked up.

(laughs)

- That is a beautiful story.

Thank you for sharing it with us.

What do you feel makes you successful?

- What comes to mind first to me

is that I have a passion for what I do.

And I think as long as you have a passion

in something you're doing, you can be successful.

- What piece of advice would you give

a new entrepreneur who's just starting out?

- Well, you know, being someone

that has changed careers you know, later in life

I have to say again that word, passion.

Find something that you can be passionate about.

And then to have courage and to just go out there

and follow your passion you know, and don't,

don't let other people's thoughts

or ideas necessarily hold you back.

If you feel it in here, you can make it happen.

- What is your favorite word?

- My favorite word, I think is courage.

You know, it's something I feel

that I've learned to have.

It's been a process.

I used to worry about

what everyone else would think about me

and you know, courage to me

and I've said it already those two words,

can I have two words?

Courage and passion.

And just feeling strong enough about myself

to be able to go forward and do what I'm doing.

- What is your least favorite word?

- Oh, I have a few

but one of them I think is should.

I don't like people telling me you should do this,

you should do that.

To me that's being judgemental

and if I had asked you that's one thing

but to me when I think of what I should've done

it causes me to have regrets.

And I don't wanna think that way.

I wanna be more positive.

So should is a very negative word to me.

- What turns you on creatively, emotionally, or spiritually?

- Wow, um...

You know I hate keep bringing up the same word but passion.

When I wake up in the morning,

I look forward to the day.

You know, I used to do that as a nurse.

I used to say that in my job

that I would've paid my last job.

I would have paid them to go work.

I loved it so much, I was passionate.

And it's again having that passion

for something I'm doing now.

So that gets me going

and creatively doing more and finding more

that I can do and it's all the big picture.

- What turns you off?

- Oh, arrogance.

I can't stand arrogance.

I think every person needs to have an amount of humility

and to me the opposite of humility is arrogance.

So soon as I heard, and those are the people, by the way,

who tell me what I should be doing.

So go figure.

They go hand in hand,

turns me off immediately.

- Yeah, those two things do seem to go together, don't they?

What is your favorite curse word?

- Oh, that's an easy one actually.

Fuck.

To me, fuck is the best word.

It's a noun, it's a verb, it's an adverb.

You're fucking amazing, you're,

what the fuck are you talking about?

I could say it you know,

I was once accused of having a truck driver mouth

but I kind of love that word and I'm proud of it you know,

so, what the fuck!

Let's say the word more.

(laughs)

- What sound or noise do you love?

- I'm a nature girl.

So, I love my spiritual place

is going to the beach,

going to the ocean.

I have a place in Malibu

that's one of my favorite places

and I go and I sit in front of this rock

and I just listen to the waves.

And I've recorded it over and over again.

And you know, it's just shows me the bigger picture

that there's something much greater than me.

And hearing those waves crash and they're never the same,

I just love it.

- What sound or noise do you hate?

- Well, I've been accused of having

I think it's called misophonia, which is a,

I get a guttural feeling

about certain noises.

And it can be someone who's smacking their lips

(smacking lips)

Or chomping on candy

or grunting, anything.

It's like when I hear noises

and I'm very intolerant of it.

It's something I'm trying to work on

but I'm very intolerant and you know what,

I chomp on candy and chew ice myself.

(laughs)

- What profession, other than your own,

would you someday like to attempt?

- I would love, there are a few but

I would love to be a stand-up comedian.

(laughs)

I've been collecting my material on senior dating

and someday I'm gonna get up

and I'm gonna do it in front of people.

- What profession would you never like to do?

(sighs)

- You know, I would never,

I do not envy that person

that stands at the front desk of a hotel

and has to take all the grief of all the people

who have been traveling long

maybe had their flights.

'Cause I love to travel,

and I see these poor people just take this

berating by people,

the room isn't right, it isn't ready,

whatever it is and they have to do it with

that smile on their face.

I don't think I could do that.

(laughs)

- If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say

when you arrive at the pearly gates?

- I would just love to hear Him say thank you.

Thank you for being you.

Thank you for your presence on Earth.

And welcome, we're really excited to have you here.

(laughs)

- Thank you for being with us today, Nancy.
